The Major grunted as the Claw(s) swiped across his torso, and it would have cut a fresh opening, had he not reinforced himself with ki. The monstrosity proved to be rather quick in itself as it evaded his attack, although the pressure force of his strokes did some residual damage. It was Hattowicz's gun that instead put on more degrees of pain, even as the horde ineffectually scratched at his armour. "Looks like we'll have to be a bit more aggressive.""Just say when, and we'll make a break for it." The Sergeant reloaded another cartridge before firing another disorienting blast into the Horde. "This is gettin' really old really fast.""Tell me about it." Taking another stance, he charged his limbs with ki again and launched a full flurry of strikes and kicks on the monstrosity, which seemed to have become disoriented by the explosion, just as intended.
Sobbing filled the air as the Patrolman unleashed a powerful blast of ki into the wall. Upon impact, the spinning psychedelic lights shattered, taking a few moments to reform into its original constituent motes, from whence the crying originated from. This did allow them a brief respite to pass through. "Now that is a truly impressive display, Lieutenant. I think I might just take you up on that offer." And surely, to learn from a hero such as the Emperor? Well, no doubt such a powerful warrior would have an unforgiving regimen, if he understood the basics of training correctly. Perhaps he could start with some 101-type lessons from Earthling champions, before moving on to the 'big leagues' of the Emperor's regimen. "To not waste His Majesty's time, however, I could start training with my own people first. I imagine someone of his calibre would only bother with a truly worthy student.""Why do you want to fall?"Spoken between the sobs of a child who had just gotten a serious spanking. The lights carried on to trail after the trio (quartet, but then the King counted as luggage at this point). "It's an unpleasant thing...""Oh, she's falling!"While the Lieutenant had broken through, and the Butler found his way around using some... fascinating methods... the Officer's feat did not work out so well. While carrying out a good start, it might have been a matter of miscalculating the slipperiness of the soot that she did lose her footing. It could have been a number of things, but whatever the case, it was then that her fall to the undulating tide of corpses beneath was salvaged as a number of whisps caught her several yards above. "Please don't fall.""Falling is bad."As they carried her back up to the rooftops, the voices grew stronger, perhaps because of "physical" contact with these lights. "Help us fly?""We can be friends.""We can play birdy!""We can be free."In addition to the extra attention she received in terms of voices, Officer Kuupo would see flashes of 'places' Outside, if you could truly call them that. A sensation of heaviness, rapidly increasing, until it reached unimaginable weight. The crushing sensation of being pinned down by a mountain or worse. Sharpness of a thousand blades. Beneath it all, a steady, rhythmic heartbeat. Or two... or three... Above it, the visage of a golden man, who shone with burning fury, holding along a blazing sword. Cold. Dark. Fear. Panic. Maddened beating drowned in adrenaline. Labored breathing short of breath. Desperation. "Save us!""He burns.""He buries.""We must fly..."Finally setting her down on the rooftops, they would let go, but continue to speak... and from this point on, follow along behind her. "Help us fly.""Let's be friends.""Beware the Golden One."In the distance, one might notice that the... thing... shifted ever so slightly...
Empty eye socket-like things stared blankly at the one-eyed man as he set up a chair and laid down a card on top of it, before vanishing into the hole. Leaving the Slenderfellow to curiously stare at the card for the longest of minutes... Eventually, however, it did pick it up, and repeat what had been said. "Job... interested...?"Beneath sprawled a surprisingly large cavern, silent for the most part, and disturbed only by the dripping sound of droplets of groundwater falling from stalactites into some distant underground pool. Somewhere behind all that, one could hear the unmistakable sound of sobbing, the occasional sniffle... If one were to give a couple of minutes to ascertain more of the sounds going on down here, one might occasionally hear a faint, hoarse, feminine cry for help between the tears. Someone was down here. But she wasn't alone. On closer inspection, the ground seemed to be red... pulsating... alive. Perhaps the... thing's influence had gotten down here too. WC: 766 King's Escort: Looks like you've gotten through or around the wall. Kuupo, however, has been given a strange experience, and is now being followed by the lights. All this talk of the king tinkering about with the concept of unknown powers stirred up a draught of unease for Cheese. In both attitude and galactic knowledge, it seemed as though he was on a more naive level as far as the butler could tell. For all he knew, King Ches could very well have been a master of deception. That or his admiration for the crown was voicing itโs own opinion inside his brain.
Whatever it was, his gaze shifted to look over at the crowned ruler appointed as by will of the people- currently piggybacking on a member of the Galactic Empire as if he were a koala bear.
That day, Cheese began to miss King Furry.
He also; if not for a moment; started to see why the Lord Breaker did not like politics.
โIf I may be so abrupt as to give my own recommendation,โ he spoke while bounding next to the agent from roof to roof. โI highly suggest that you seek out the ancient schools located on Earth, your majesty.โ Cheeseโs tone remained calm, formal, yet entirely impersonal. โAlongside their numerous scriptures depicting many forms and history, it would do you good not to forget which planet your ambitions stem from and for.โ Onwards, he moved.
Time was nearly upon him to play the role of a big hero- topped off with a dramatic entrance nonetheless. It was not quite the type of game that he first thought he would play when entering the hole. This situation may have been one further down the list however. At least he had something to fill his afternoon schedule. T never went spelunking before- save for tunnelling through rocks by sheer force of energy alone.
Perhaps this little trip would prove exciting for h-
โThe floor is moving.โ Thought the man to himself. The floor was, in fact, moving. One of his more astute observations just like how the sky is blue and caffeine is overrated.
On the one hand, T had some level of respect for whoever or whatever decided to make the floors out of flesh. Among the many of his favourite choices of buildup to a final, otherworldly power, he found โfleshy hellscapeโ to fit snugly in-between โliteral hellโ and โlava-filled castleโ. On the other hand, the Lord Breaker was wearing his good pair of shoes. Too true was the fact that he could just as easily create another pair as he would blow up a megalopolis, but these were his good shoes.
Hence, his mindset switched to fit a specific theme: โthe floor is mudโ. The man then began to rapidly jump from wall to wall as he performed a set of gravity defying leaps before running on the ceiling to wherever the tunnel led- stalagmites be damned.
Or were they stalactites?
Either way, he ran on the walls. Battle Info - Stranger Defence Phase None

"Those things are fucking loud," Horn said and growled in irritation. Kuueru had lost her footing and now a merry band of wisps were following close at hand. He leaped, landing on the top of a rickety half twisted bridge. A lazy brown river once flowed through this area, now it was nothing more than a trench filled with rubble. Most of the water had been rerouted by gravity to pour into the crater instead. In a hundred years or so, the thing would probably be a lake. Unless the Earthlings did some hefty landscaping. Horn's old bar was close by to here. He had once holed up in Central City, taking various assassination contracts. All sorts of clientele had visited the place, seeking the Demon Clan Assassin. Marte, his pupil, had run it for a long time. The kid looked after the small details while the Namekian took care of the messy ones. Did he miss those days? No not really. They had been good for him to build his fortune. But, at the same time they had been complacent ones. Horn had not progressed toward his goal, towards the endgame for years. His recent jaunt to the Demon Realm had inspired him to step into the limelight again, to really push boundaries. He had already discovered new enemies and forged new allies. "I'll show you another trick of the trade, Your Majesty."Lute concentrated and between his finger tips four shuriken, constructs of buzzing purple ki, appeared. Tilting back, he flicked his wrist. Each one was sent spinning at high velocities towards the wisps. Not that such ethereal things could be damaged in any significant way. Lute only intended to disrupt them or scare them off. Not so much an attack as a warning that they weren't allowed to be apart of this rescue mission anymore. Mostly because, they were incessant with their rambling.

Deep in his mind Will thought of the possibility of the princess being already dead. That she was long gone and their struggles were in vain. But this wasn't the cause of fate or destiny no this was the cause of an intruder from somewhere else. Another universe entirely or something even beyond the multiverse? Whatever the reason Will did not like the look of the fleshy pulsating floor that laid before him. He did not know whether he would end up being absorbed by it or somehow eaten by digested. But what he hears in the distance is that of a poor crying child. A girl at that, who could be the princess they have been searching for. An innocent girl lost and confused hiding in this cave with no way out. But yet there was still hope that she can be free from this prison. Will didn't know what he would he do if the princess turned out to be dead but it would not have been pretty. His usually gentle heart is being filled with so much unbridled rage seeing all of this senseless destruction and death that if he gets pushed anymore he could end up losing himself. He sees the stranger run across the wall and decided to take a different route. If he were to go across stalactite to stalactite and kick each one down before before going to the next it could end up making a series of safe platforms to jump across over the flesh. If he makes a mistake however he could end up falling into it. Here goes nothing. SB0dQbH|1d100+25BATTLE TRACKERSUMMARY

The bricks and steel holding her up failed, and with it, she began to hurl towards the ground. She tried to fly, but it was no use. She was heading down to a pleasure pit of zombies now. She prepared to fight the mobs off of her when she landed, but suddenly--her fall stopped.
Her body fell limp, almost like a noodle. While the wisps Then, a sudden weight. The very air in her lungs forced its way out. She was in a daze, and lose in the arms of some weird magical entity. They lifted her frame and drifted through the air. She was left in the euphoric haze of images and messages. They plead for her to be careful, they showed her their fears. She shook her head, trying to regain some semblance of clear mindedness.
โW-Whoa..โ She stumbled to her feet on the rooftop, however her friends still trailed behind. She stumbled in the haze, her eyes growing wide. She looked towards the Namekian, genuine fear filling her eyes.
โGolden one?โ
She mumbled once more, her eyes darting to and from as the voices spoke to her.
โHe knows!โ She shouted, turning towards the colossal beast in the distance. She then turned to run as far as she could after Cheese and away from the wisps.

"Not to jinx this or anything, but we're looking pretty good right about now." Major Grayze sent a portion of his ki flowing through his centre of reflex, allowing him to weave in, out, and between the Claw(s)'s counter attacks, his blows landing with some better effect. It might have been because of his application of toxic ki in his assault, countering some of the creature's regenerative resilience. Behind him, Sgt. Hattowicz swept his gun to a side, knocking away at least half a dozen of the horde as he decided to push the initiative and begin advancing toward the beachhead. Hot plasmic ki exploded in the pool of bodies, sending fleshly bits flying, along with debris from the asphalt of the alleyway. "Watch out for the rain~" He playfully warned, prompting the Major to jump back as large chunks of what was once the road slammed into the creature, doing even more damage. "Yeah, I think it's time we stopped sitting around and started getting a move on." A quick whistle as a signal. He continued to back up into Hattowicz, who lumbered forth as any titan would. The latter would happen upon a fascinating little factoid. "Oh, Baby!" he exclaimed as he charged up another shot. "Looks like they left us something to remember us by." An autoturret, inactive, but standing by just fine, ignored by the swarming horde of bodies. It wasn't made of meat, after all. The rescue party probably left it here, but it looked to still be functioning. It only took a couple of seconds to tap some holokeys on his wrist guard. With it, the turret's engine whirred to life, barrels spinning up for a couple of seconds before it resumed its duty of spewing hot lead at any moving thing that didn't emit a King's Guard IFF signal. Hattowicz charged up his gun and fired another blast into the swarm. If this kept up, they'd be in range of the Beachhead around the same time as the King. "Really don't wanna jinx us, so I won't push our luck on finding that one." Instead, the Major decided to go for another offensive on the Claw, charging up a ki blade in an attempt to slice off some of those betentacled claws. It wasn't over yet. Not by a longshot.
For the most part, the Patrolman was correct in his assessment that destroying something disembodied was not quite simple. The four purple buzzsaws of ki sliced through a large enough number of the wisps that the numbers of individual lights increased by about a quarter. One might think of them as ethereal starfish, or even bacteria, and the attack having aided them in mitosis. Still, it was violent enough to send them a message, and they quickly darted away from his immediate vicinity. As one would picture a tactical retreat, they instead conglomerated a short distance behind Officer Kuupo, who appeared to have become somewhat enlightened about their insights, of a sort. "He's not fun.""But he's purple, not gold!""He smells purple, yes.""Help?"The King took this moment to chuckle. Whether it was at the result - which was certainly no laughing matter - or at the Butler's comments which happened at almost the same time, it was hard to say. Although given the context of his response, it was likely the latter. "Yes, of course, my good Sir," he nodded. "There is no doubt that Earth's great schools, with their rich styles and history, have so much to teach. And there is wisdom to peruse them, for all this learning. A very well-considered recommendation." He brought a free hand to rub his chin. Now if he could just live longer, it would be interesting to see how he could work this. Maybe he could gather the balls for himself and wish for immortality. Then after his final term ended, he could dedicate the rest of eternity to studying martial arts. Alas, from what he was hearing of events happening outside, something like that might be necessary. It was high time he got them to listen to reason and let him back out. Did it really have to take 18 months to come up for an excuse for how he miraculously "survived" the destruction of Central City and the deaths of millions? He understood the need to keep the Dragonballs a secret. The ancient threats from the old days would return with that knowledge. Even back then, few people knew of the mystic wish-granting orbs. But these were powerful people. Emperor Pilaf's Kingdom, the Red Ribbon Army, Demon King Piccolo... The pair of Saiyans who made First Contact with Earth, if the old disclosed Capsule Corp records weren't corrupted from age. All these caused so much death and destruction from their pursuit of the balls. Parliament didn't even know about the Guardian. But surely, they could come up with a way to address the issue without having to invoke the balls? They would be at the exit soon. Although it seemed that the wisps had other ideas, as a number of them flitted into a crumbling old pizzeria and began stretching dough across the walls of buildings in a message. "Let's fly."
"Can we fly?"
"Help us."
"Broken wings don't fly.""While I don't doubt that we can call in enough firepower after this to destroy that... thing... I really would prefer being sure of its annihilation." To be frank, he was more terrified of what would happen if they reacted poorly to a bombardment, assuming they survived, than he was of what it would do if they didn't act. It could bring about an apocalypse, if it wasn't controlled. The beachhead, however, was in sight. In the distance, the... thing... began to move. "We should hurry..."
The living floor that had apparently consumed the bottom of the cavern pulsed. It breathed. Beat like a heart. A very slow heart that would beat at least once a minute. Ganglia and organs would occasionally emerge and then be reabsorbed into the primary mass. One would have to wonder if this was the source of all the abominations that wandered above. Nevertheless, the two warriors went on. The one eyed, multi-powered man ran along the walls to protect his shoes from the squickly mess. On the other hand, the warrior cat struck down the stony projections with mastered precision, sending them down into the flesh to serve as a bridge. A construction so finely executed that they would probably last long enough for a return trip. On the other side of the sea of living matter sat more cold limestone. And in a small nook, the sobbing grew louder. Upon their approach, they would find a most curious case. Curled up in the deepest part of the cranny, a little vixen nursing a broken left leg. At the first sign of movement, she shrank and attempted to slip even deeper into the crevice. Not that there was anywhere left to go. And she kept quiet. At least, until some proper humanoid silhouettes appeared. Clothes. No foul stench of death. Living eyes and properly articulated movement. "D... did Dundy send you? I asked him to get help..." "FOR THE LOVE OF KAI, SOMEONE GET RID OF THESE THINGS ALREADY!" An angry ogre in a business suit slammed his fists into his gorgeous mahogany desk. Around him floated a certain number of... lights. These weren't the souls of dead people, or anything like that. From what he could tell, they were more of... disjointed fragments of some sort of compound whole. At the foot of his desk, countless souls waited impatiently in an apparently eternal queue, as ogres attempted to shoo the multitude of lights away. From the dead, from their boss's record books, but most importantly, from his gorgeous mahogany desk. Most of them did this to no avail... Until a powerful gust of air, accompanied by a door slamming open hard enough to rock the room, swept the area. The lights flitted about in excitement. "WE PLAY!"
"LET'S PLAY!"
"COME SAIL AWAY AND PLAY?""Problem, Dad?" A sports shirt, red and blue skirt, and an red sakazuki with an apparently endless supply of sake. Not to mention a certain irreverence. "Didn't I tell you to guard the cellar, Hemla?" King Yemma adjusted his helmet. "That lucky cup of yours isn't going anywhere, and you know it," she shot back. "I heard the ruckus, so I came topside to see what the fuss was about." The well-built ogre took a sip from her sakazuki. "Turns out you're having quite a light show up here."The King of the Check-in Station paused in thought. Maybe he could use this in his favor somehow. "Fine. If you can clean up these lights, I'll give you Vijya's slot for the Tournament this year."Hemla only laughed aloud in irreverence at the offer. "Dad! What do you take me for? A drunken two shoes who only cares about some championship for dead people? She can keep her tournament slot. I wanna get out see things!""By out, you mean...""By 'out', I mean out there!" she pointed out the window at the tasty orange clouds. "I'm bored to death guarding that stupid evil cup for the past couple thousand years!""I mean you have your gym equi-""Dad! How hard is it to just say yes? I don't want to fight in some damn tournament. I just wanna get out! I won't even have to step on Vijya's toes to do it!"The problem is all the other toes you'll be stepping on out there, he thought to himself. "I'll consider it. For now, I just need you to keep these lights busy while I do my job.""Heh." the ogress smirked as she rolled up her sleeves and downed a pint of sake. "Now we're talkin." This was going to be one hell of a trip... WC: 1661 King's Guard: The wisps are still bothering Kuupo, up to and including scrawling messages around with old mouldy dough. More importantly, the... thing... is beginning to stir. But maybe you could do something about it? Alternatively, you can try and find out if there's a less violent way to resolve this. The wisps seem connected to it, after all. Roll 1d100+[Skill] to match your action. 65+ for success. 75+ gets you to the Beachhead in one fell swoop. Team Mario: Looks like the Princess is in this cavern! But she's badly hurt. Roll 1d100+EC to fix her up at 75+, reducing the injury to negligible. Crit, and she's as good as new. Or use Mend if you have it for a guaranteed fixer upper. Roll 1d100+[Skill] to SAVE THE PRINCESS. 60+ gets you safely back across the stalactite bridge. BATTLE TRACKERREGIS-02

Will first starts with one stalactite with a well placed kick which sends it crashing down into the fleshy ground below sticking out like a wooden stake planted in the dirt, and uses his other leg to propel himself to the next one and so on in a chain of kicks knocking each and every stalactite until a bridge was formed to make easy access for them on the way back. As they got to the sobbing they found what appeared to be a small fox girl. The princess is alive! Although she is injured and Will wished he saved that Senzu Bean so he could've given it to her. Now he has to think of another way to heal her. "Dundy? I don't know who this Dundy is. Is he one of the military people who called us or something? Don't worry though we're to help you princess and your dad is safe too he is being brought out of this mess as well." Will said. Will has read a bit about healing magic before, but never has had the opportunity to practice it or try to see if he could. He puts his hand on the broken leg and attempts to concentrate poring in some of his Ki to his paws and using his magic to try to heal them.
Whether it works or not he carefully picks the princess back up to take her across the bridge of stalactites he made earlier.

A way to deal with the crimson monument was most certainly needed. While the two Galactic Empire agents and himself were busy fleeing back to safety, the thing crept ever closer to them. Ergo, it moved towards the safe zone where hundreds upon thousands of people more were presumably located. This situation carried a greater weight to it than Cheese earlier expected.
He could not believe it, yet he found himself musing upon what his master would possibly do.
Eeeeeeeeraaaaaaase it.
Cheese cannot do that.
Bloooooooooow it uuuup.
Cheese had little to no energy left.
Then throw a fish at it or something, I donโt care.
Cheese did not have any fish on him, but he did have an idea.
By trail and error, it seemed as if the lights, creatures, and entities of all make were somewhat affected by the concept of โtransportโ. Either by way of their own will or other more harsh methods (see: sending them to the otherworld), if they may be translocated elsewhere without much of a problem on the butlerโs own end. The effectiveness concerning these actions relating to couriering the anomalies was debatable in of itself.
Nevertheless, this was the only method he thought of no other plan that did not involve copious amounts of wanton destruction.
Cheese opened another door- this one leading to one of the sireโs personal pocket realms. Then he departed with the king once more. Said door began sucking zombies, lights, and the โthingโ alike if it would be affected by this attempt at ridding them off this planet. Other beings would remain safe from this suction. Once finished with itโs job or the area had been reduced to a relatively safe number of hostile entities that the military could handle with ease, the door would close- rendered to an ordinary entrance to this random building.
Caverns
Running around on walls using questionable physics paired with intense acceleration brought him to the very end of this cave. Not too long ago, such an activity was commonplace in day-to-day life after having attained this level of power. It did come to an end when he finally got bored of doing so. Nothing quite like achieving inhuman levels of physical ability to dull otherwise extraordinary feats. Still, the fact that the princess was still alive had surprised him.
In response to her question, the man tried his hand at sensing her aura for confirmation that this was actually her. Meanwhile, he went along with the niceties.
โNo,โ he lied.
Play nice, T.
โYes,โ he corrected after about a pause lasting five seconds. By some means or another, the eyepatch-wearing soul-annihilator felt the compulsion to not heal her. Perhaps it was because he had a reputation to uphold as a stoic, mysterious entity who possesses immense destructive capability. Maybe it was the fact that a grand amount of energy had already been expended, and the bill passed over to him. Mayhaps he was just a jerk.
Whichever reason rang true, the man simply stood and watched with his arms crossed.
His perspective could be compared to looking at a wounded dog staring at him for help.โจ
To which he announced, โstop looking at me like that.โ
A wounded puppy whose leg was broken.
โStop.โ T repeated.
A wounded puppy whose leg was broken, and a melancholic piece played in the background.
Lord BREAKER then abruptly knelt down next to Will as the cat channeled his all into this attempt. Amateur as it may be, his try incentivised the man to give it a go. T had no experience whatsoever with arcane inputs regarding the healing of others, but he knew the logic behind restoration. In addition to his own reality-warping powers, a good level of skill could be applied on this area.
โJust so you know, this does not make me a good guy.โ Told T to the Princess, the Feline Martial Artist, and lastly, to himself. His eyebrows furrowed while mouth curved into a slight frown.
Lord Breaker. L-o-r-d B-r-e-a-k-e-r. That was, and still is, the best title he could think of without forming some sort of god complex. It also meant that he had; and still has a grand tendency, capability, and affinity at breaking things whenever, however, and wherever he wanted to.
If her injuries were alleviated, he then offered a hand forward to the fox. โFeeling better yet?โ Battle Info - Stranger Defence Phase None

The alley had been a nice shortcut, in the beginning, to the extraction point. However, the way back across the rooftops had been a bit of a detour. Granted, it saved them from hacking and slashing through more of the incessant shambling corpses. Horn kept his uncanny footwork as he crossed the rickety remnant of the bridge and dropped down onto the not so sound rooftop of an old supermarket. They were closer to the outskirts of the city now, what had once been residential neighborhoods. The husks of blown out houses lined winding avenues and formerly well kept boulevards. Despite the cataclysm here, the former wealth of the neighborhood was still evident. Autumn trees dotted the sidewalks, mere husks of their former beauty. This time of year they should have been shedding their leaves in bright crimsons, sulking oranges, and dastardly ambers. But--they were long dead, as with the rest of the forlorn metropolis. Horn wished there wasn't this.... presence... restricting his powers. Because, he would have simply wiped it all from existence in a single searing flash. It was strange. Up until this point he hadn't realized just how mundane and weak he felt. The further he got away from it the more he was waking up from it effects. Horn had the power to split worlds asunder. And yet, he had been stomping on zombies in the streets. Why?The King's words brought him back from the mystery. "I suggest trying more conventional weaponry against that thing. Whatever you got. Clear the surrounding area and drop a kinetic slug on it from orbit. It's been doing something to our powers since we got here. Normally I would be able to fly you out of this shit hole."Horn glanced both ways before he leaped from the supermarket into the center of the street. He didn't want to be on the ground for long, so he hit it mid stride. Beyond the rooftops, he could hear the chatter of machine gun fire coming from the beachhead defense team. The dome of the shield they projected could be seen shimmering just above the horizon. After a short sprint down a side-street, he spotted a mono-rail track bending above neighborhood and out beyond the metropolis. His snaking appendage shot forth and grabbed hold, pulling him and the King up to it. Once up there, he lowered his other arm down so that Kuueru and Cheese could climb up after. His feet pattered on the metal beam as he ran along it. This was the express way of travel through the ruins. Dominating the track ahead was the monorail itself frozen in time. Perhaps it once had been carrying passengers home, after a long day at work. Now it sat dead and tilted, no longer any magnetic field to keep it suspended. The wisps followed, but at this point Horn didn't want to concern themselves with them. He had to focus on the mission alone. Below was the beachhead. Zombies crashed against it as they clamored up massive mound of dismembered corpses. It was almost two stories high at this point. Horn skidded to a stopped and braced himself, reaching under the monorail caboose to find a finger hold. Using his superhuman strength he lifted a trio of the the mono-rail cars up and then heaved them sideways. They tumbled off of the track and down towards the swarm below, pulling down of the train with the momentum and weight shift. The sound of it smashing below filled the air and also a great dust cloud was kicked up. Horn fully intended for the mass of crumpled metal to pinch off zombie's approach, giving the soldiers at the defense point a moment of reprieve. Also enough time for him to get the King through to General Standish. Dropping off the rail passed through the barrier and landed among the Earthling forces. Cheers sounded as they noticed their monarch strapped in piggy-back. "Get Standish on the horn right now. It's time to evac," Horn said.

Kuueru walk around in a half-daze filled state. All that was keeping her on track was the blur of Green that Lute was. She wandered after, though with much less haste than before. Honestly, it looked as if she were going a simple rooftop walk; if not for the unstable footing and annoying wisps. She wasnโt sure what to make of the information they were pushing onto to her, but it didnโt matter. With Cheese off into some vacuum door, and Lute nearing the safety of the beach head she began to skip along afterwards.
โAre we there yet?โ Kuueru mumbled while taking Luteโs arm and pulling herself. Her new-found friends followed her as well. Though their points and words fell flat on her mind. The looming things in the background she didnโt concern herself with. Her mission was the get the king to safety, beyond that the well-being of others wasnโt her priority. Like REGIS which they left to fight amongst themselves, she would too leave the rest of the civilians to deal with the issue their selves.
โOh the Horn,โ Kuueru chuckled in a daze at โHornโsโ horn comment. She then looked around for the butler, whom seemed to go off on his own path. Roll to ignore the wisps I guess? Reflex? ndqeEOmk1d100+40 Lute , T , ๐ธ๐๐๐๐ , Will O. Wisp

Doors... such useful things. For the corporeal, they served as a means to enter and leave structures. But sometimes, a door was more than just a door. When one took the simple concept of an entrance that allows access to something on the other side of a boundary, and expanded on it. The boundary in question could have been a wall. And in most cases, it was a wall, or a fence, or something of the sort. Expanded, however, it could even refer to boundaries that were not necessarily material, but other. Boundaries between different points in space. Boundaries between different kinds of space. The latter appeared to be the kind of esoteric power that the butler tapped into. Not only once, but now twice. This time, however, the hand played was an even bigger one, intending to suck up not just some pesky wisps, but anything and everything that would slow down the imminent evacuation of the camp site. Central City was once a sprawling metroplex, its population in the dozens of millions. The fact that this entire region, thousands of square miles, was now the site of a ruin-filled crater, was a testament to the power of the one who destroyed it. Each so-called 'camp' might as well have been a small city in itself. While the door might not have cleaned up the whole thing, it didn't have to. Its purpose was to clear a path to the Beachhead. Undead thralls, wisps, and even some more severe abominations were sucked in by this force, by this door connected to some strange space, nicely complementing the Imperial Patrolman's dynamic entry, the train car smashing down on the pile of bodies. The rescue party, or at least... half of it... had returned. Wild cheers erupted from the platoon as they spotted the King, strapped in like a little koala, but safe nonetheless. Quickly extracting himself from the position and taking Lieutenant Horn's cue, the little fox ordered for the nearest comm device. Testing for static, the King made his announcement. "WIDEBOY. This is FOXHOUND. Do you copy?""Loud and clear, FOXHOUND," the relief in the general's voice was clear. It was odd. As soon as the... thing... started moving, communications had begun to clear. What in Satan's name was going on here? Now, it wasn't the electronics that told him that, but the witnesses on the ground who could see it in the distance. Still he couldn't have been more thankful. "Please proceed to the exit. We'll be taking you back to the DEN.""Before we do so, WIDEBOY, I'd like to know if you're making preparations to deal with the... anomaly...""Can confirm, FOXHOUND. We've parked three BIG DADDIES in geosynch above the target. Firing computers seem to be fried for some reason, so we've switched to Smart AI to eyeball the shots. But they're ready to fire on my mark.""Excellent." The King took a few seconds to look longingly out at the chaos that engulfed the camp. Felicia might still have been out there. The warrior from the Turtle School and the... angry man... had yet to return. In the distance, he could already make out two rowdy shapes fighting their way through what few zombies weren't sucked into the butler's door. It appears that the last two survivors of REGIS Squad 2 would make it after all. But what of the other two? He understood that as King, he could not allow them a big window. Not with that threat looming over the city... perhaps to the world. But as a mere man and father... He wanted to give them every second he thought could count. In the distance, the... thing... stirred. Its movements were sluggish, swaying in place like a tree exposed to a strong breeze. The way it twisted was unnatural. That was to say, if the tree was in a badly filmed movie that skipped a few frames with every second of footage or so. But who knew how long it would take before it became sober? How much time would it take? A decision had to be made. But perhaps making it an informed decision would help. For that, he would turn to the one who had access to the big picture. "WIDEBOY, How long would it take to evacuate our troops?""Three minutes is pushing it. But I know they can bring it down to two if they hustle." A brief pause. "Honestly, I'd rather rush em. BD's would clear out any zed left. Just pack what they can carry."The King nodded. "Then make it two minutes." "I'll make the call.""Understood, WIDEBOY. FOXHOUND OUT." He turned to those who brought him back, start "You have my sincerest gratitude. All of you. And now, it appears our journey is at an end. Let's go." At his signal, the evacuation of the beachhead began. In two minutes, the gate would be sealed to prevent any zombies from escaping. As if on cue, Grayze and Hattowicz jumped through a temporary hole in the barrier and reported in, apparently in a rush. Why? Well, just behind them was... more than a horde... It was an apparently highly energized mass of crimson flesh. Appendages. Not clawed, or anything like that. More of an extension of the... thing... and its eerie sense. And with it, things seemed to become heavy once more. The voices of the wisps... though there weren't any more wisps... returned. "Please don't go.""We want you to watch.""We're about to fly!""It looks like we might have to expedite the process. Forget the materiel! Just go!" The King yelled. Without even having to obey his orders, the soldiers just stopped what they were doing made a break for it. He turned to face his rescuers. "I know I've asked much of you today. But if this... thing... isn't kept at bay until the exit can be sealed, all we've gone through might be for nought, if it gets out into the world."
Setting the frequency to cover any comm devices in the camp, the General knew what to do. "Attention, all units. This is WIDEBOY. FOXHOUND has been retrieved. Commence General Retreat. Evacuation Window is TWO MINUTES. You do NOT want to be in there after that."As per standard procedure, this message was repeated verbatim several times. With the... thing... apparently focusing more on steadying itself than whatever it was doing before, communications had cleared. But what about flight? That was easy enough to test. Ordering the redirection of several strike drones that orbited the perimeter of the camp, the general watched as they flew within the radius of the earlier 'no fly zone'... and actually made it through. Cameras were still unclear, however, and the only images they returned were slightly less fuzzy than last time. Target ting computers were also malfunctioning. Did it know what they planned to do? Was it protecting itself? "Set em on kamikaze courses. Overload their reactors while you're at it." The technician obeyed and did so. Microfusion cores. Highly stable energy sources. But if you played with the settings enough, you could cause a localized catastrophe. Perhaps a few kilotons' worth of destructive power? That was already impressive in itself, and any general crazy or desperate enough could certainly turn his drones into makeshift mini-nukes. When he hit the court martial, he could surely lose his job for detonating makeshift nuclear weapons within 5 miles of the King. But he'd done the math and read the data. With the 'payload' on the drones, the airblast wouldn't even hit a two mile radius. Even that park was safe. Not that it needed to be spared, or anything... Standish watched as five blips on the tracking map approached the blank space at the centre of the camp at breakneck speeds, before disappearing from view. Several seconds later, the sound of the detonations reached his ears, mere thunder in the distance. But the disruption didn't go away. The... thing... was still there. Well... why wouldn't it be? "Father is safe, then." For a moment, her eyes softened in relief. The warrior cat had given her that reassurance. Although his understanding of Dundy was not quite accurate, either. The one-eyed man denied this. But... did they know who Dundy was? Perhaps they did not arrive together? Or that... hrm... Then he did the opposite. Was this a strange joke? Maybe it was his way of attempting to lighten up the mood. The circumstances were pretty dark, after all. And even as he assisted the cat in healing her leg, he... had a very strange demeanor about it. Almost like... what was that word they used in East Sector animation again? Ah yes. Tsundere. It was a very interesting term that encompassed this sort of attitude. She took both offered hands, which helped her up. "Much better, thank you."And so they would work their way back, across the fleshy floor, without any incident, or bothering any thing that might have been dangerous down there... back up the rabbit hole... With no incident, one might add. "Ah, so you did bring help." The little vixen giggled. "Nice job, Dundy!"It stared blankly, the ace still in its hand. "She's trying to fly. Broken wings don't fly.""Then we shouldn't wait for it to crash." She looked into the distance at the... thing... swaying like a tree swaying in the wind. Frames going missing every few seconds... "Listening to the calling was a mistake..."Remorse filled her eyes as her gaze fell to the ashen dirt. "This is all my fau-"It would be around that time that the rescue team's commlinks would bark loud and clear with the general's announcement. "Attention, all units. This is WIDEBOY. FOXHOUND has been retrieved. Commence General Retreat. Evacuation Window is TWO MINUTES. You do NOT want to be in there after that."So the tall feller... that was to say... Dundy... raised a spindly arm and pointed at a dot in the distant sky. "She stopped stealing wings. Other wings are coming. Burning wings."The little vixen turned to her rescuers. "We should get going. If they're after the BROKEN ANGEL, those planes are probably packing nuclear weapons."WC: 1731 King's Escort: The final hurdle! Even though T stresses this doesn't make him a good guy. Will can't help but notice there is some good in him. But yet it is true he is not a good guy either, but a bad guy wouldn't do this without any motive and he didn't have any so he seems to be more neutral and chaotic in nature. The kind of unpredictability they need to get through this. He doesn't want to make note of this though to him cause he might set him off. Once getting out they are greeted again by the Spindly Fellow who appears to be the Dundy she was referring to. So the two were friends? This raises a lot of questions though and more seem to come when she mention something about a calling and that it's her fault. "Calling? Princess what happe-" Will asked before being cut off by the communicator telling them they had two minutes to leave before the nuke blows up. The princess mentions the thing being called the "Broken Angel" and that nukes are arriving. Will wonders how she knows all of this but the time for answers can wait as the time to get out of dodge before this whole place blows up. "Hang on tight princess!" Will says. Holding the princess tightly as he can he jumps up into the air attempting to try to jump over the forest and above the many monsters below, but then suddenly he stops in midair and realizes he can fly now. "Oh, well that's convenient." Will said. And then proceeds to fly off back to the beachhead as fast as he can. Come With Me if you Want to Live: 9XaTPii41d1100+25Divided this by 11 to convert. Thunder sounded in the distance. Things were in motion now. He breathed a sigh of relief, if only for a fleeting moment. Until he saw the writhing crimson mass. Something was going on with the monstrosity. "Kupo," Horn called. "Do you feel that?"Horn held out his hand clenching his fingers into a tight ball. A malicious grin crossed his face as he realized the full extent of his power was back. Things were looking up now. Yet, he didn't know how long it would last. "Let's have some fun."Without warning, Horn's amethyst aura crackled around him and he blasted off, a streak motion across the battered metropolis. He let her catch up as he held out his hands, creating tiny stone totems with magic materialization. Each one was etched with a demonic runes, wicked and scythe-like characters. Lute didn't know a lot of spells, this one he had mastered years ago. It would open a fleeting portal into the Demon Realm. Mastering such a spell had been necessary for him to find the Book of Bibidi. He recited the incantation to her, at least the portion she would be responsible for. And then he said, "We'll use these totems to shape a hexagon around the creature and open a portal to the Demon Realm. It will no doubt suck him through. The bombs too may too land in the Demon Realm, instead of here on Earth."This type of magic was risky as all hell. Mostly because, the gods tended to frown upon breaches in reality, especially those leading to a plane of existence wrought with corruption, chaos and violence. But, fuck the gods this day. The monstrosity was a worrisome threat to reality. Lieutenant Horn placed his totems and waited for Kuueru finish with hers. Dark words escaped his lips, an omen of what was to come. Once she spoke hers too, the spell was cast. It came with a brilliant vein of azure lighting cascading from the heavens above, crashing into the center of the hexagon and the creature within it. The lightning spread and coursed over the totems as uncanny speed. Sparking and sputtering, the spell opened up yawning hole in space-time, swallowing nearly a half mile of the city in an instant. All of the rubble and debris was siphoned into the Demon Realm, and hopefully with it the tower of crimson weirdness. To any wandering demons on the other side, it was unfortunate turn of events. The very sky opened up and dumped a city block on top of them. Energy Control -> Open Demon Realm Rift (Team Maneuver)j57aEEZ51d100+301d100+30

Broken Angel. All of the previous metaphors somewhat made sense after that much was spoken. Angels with shattered wings could not fly- could not hope to fly. The end was near for this scenario, and they could do little about it. Matters escalated far greater than any single person in the city who was not a superpower Ki wielder could hope to control. It seems that the nuclear option had quite literally been elected in order to control the situation.
It did not surprise T, but it managed to amuse him mildly. As did the pause in midair which his feline compatriot performed. The cat could fly which meant that T could fly again. In turn, this probably meant a little bit more leeway was granted in utilising his power.
Before he got his way in the matter, they blasted off and over rooftops.
Good thing he could just use telepathy- with the given ability, he reached for the princess. โFox.โ Called the man in his usual, blunt manner. โWe probably wonโt meet again.โ
โSo, if thereโs anything to learn from this mess of a day:โ
With a snap of his fingers, the being tried his hand at translocating both Will and the Princess far closer to the Kingโs Ki signature.
โIt would be that I am not a good guy.โ
Psychic emphasis on โnotโ there. He despised when people mistook him for anything other than a villain. He was the Lord Breaker damn it.
The Park
โLooks like itโs just you and me, Dundy.โ T announced as he looked to the tall, alien figure.
Next, his gaze shifted to the giant portal hovering above the entire City. Large sections of the area were being sucked up by the sheer power of this vortex. Buildings, creatures, and dirt alike floated up as if lifted by invisible arms into the great beyond. โGreatโ being an overly enthusiastic term of โdark and dingyโ seeing that it was in reference to the Demon Realm- not that anybody except for the doorman knew exactly where the hole lead.
โNo idea who opened that rift, but I like their style.โ declared the Lord Breaker to his long-limbed companion.
How much time did he have left?
โTwo minutes.โ T reminded himself. Not that much time at all to do anything fun. May as well teleport the drones and Broken Angel into the Dimensional Hole opened. That he did.
Though he was not sure what to do next. Just by looking around once more, the man felt a sense of melancholy rushing back to him. No paths, no swings, not a square inch of green grass for miles. It was quite the foreign land compared to when he first saw it four years ago.
โYou know, I came to this park a while ago.โ He stretched both arms behind his back- hiding any modicum of emotion. A straight face and stoic tone were maintained as should always be. โIt was a tourist attraction that lasted for centuries, you know?โ Asked the man without expecting any logical reply in return.
Now he caught himself reminiscing. This was not a good sign.
One more good deed. One more good deed and he was done for the day.
T conceded, shaking his head with eye closed as he let out a sigh. His hands raised from his pockets to hold up. Arms raised to his sides while elbows pointed behind him. A faint, white glow emerged from glove-covered palms. One could compare the sight to lens flares forming near the Lord Breaker with his knuckles acting as their very centre.
Ki, Mana, Mystical Energy- whatever you want to call it. A mixture of the latent strengths combined came surging out to perform as they would.
The first being the destruction; or rather, deconstruction; of Central City.
He aimed to erase torn buildings, rubble, man-made structures of all sorts, and abominations all the same. Not much more could be left after the vortex did its job, but this was the largest populated city on Earth. As such, areas where Earthlings had touched would span further than one could think. All of this needed to be gone from his perspective.
That was the easier part. Next on the agenda was actually restoring the land to its former glory. To bring grass, trees, flowers and animals back into the picture. While large scale healing had never been performed before by him, construction of the like had. Practice from alleviating the Princessโ wounds gave him some experience in the field- he would use that much along with reality warping to carry forward.
All in the blink of an eye. All with a rapidly expanding sphere of light.

Post by Queen Kuueru on Sept 23, 2018 15:18:50 GMT -5
They had finally made it to safety, however the looming monster in the distance was still present. Kuueru scoffed as the King took ahold of the radio and phoned in his plans to the others. It seemed he was aiming to nuke the thing, literally. Kuueru could only imagine how destructive such a blast would be, however, she imagined King Ches knew of the risks.
โKupo,โ Lute caught her attention, asking if she had felt something.
โFun? I thought that was the point of this whole trip? Iโve yet to have it though, this will be the last time I accompany you on a mission without intel,โ Kuueru sarcastically scolded the man before the Namekian was in the air. Seems that their abilities to fly had return; and she was not prompted to follow him...yet again.
The man spoke an incantation that she hastily memorized as the man explained his plot.
โTotems, hah. But, thatโs gotta be one massive portal. Do you really have the energy to pull it off?โ
Kuueru stated her worries, but really, what did they have to lose? She took three of the runs and flanked off from the man. Rolling around the opposite side of the beast. She carefully placed her totems in a way that mirrored the Namekianโs placements. She hovered opposite the man on the other side of the monstrosity and began her side of the incantation.
It seemed to work, the violent rift tearing open the earth below. Hopefully, they had succeeded. T Lute Will O. Wisp ๐ธ๐๐๐๐

The Imperial Lieutenant and his subordinate flew off in the direction of the centre. They could fly again? Perhaps this had something to do with the communications as well... Such courage. Or perhaps, intelligence? One way or another, it was more prudent to deal with the source of the problem, rather than the symptoms that encroached on the group. He would not have time to see what they planned to do though. A thunderous report in the distance drove the king to instinctively duck behind a pile of rubble. The blinding flash did not help to mask the truth behind what just happened. "WIDEBOY, what did you just do?""I wanted to see if we could take it out with a lower payload first, FOXHOUND," the general's tone was serious, not something that was joking around. "A lower payload? That was an atomic fireball just now!""5 kilotons, Sir. Well... five drones with 5kt payloads. I assure you, it's no threat to your position. Not even the fallout will get to you.""And what about others who might have been evacuating?" the King's voice was trembling, somewhere between panic and rage. "Sir, the closest friendly signal we have to ground zero is of a commlink assigned to a volunteer deployed rescue you." Odd. What was that signal doing in the area of the old park? "Don't worry, he'll be fine. In fact, he..." Even odder. According to the scanner, the signal suddenly jumped from all the way out by the park to... right at the exit. "He should be right behind you.""Don't play games with me, WIDEBOY. If it turns out that you just sentenced a rare Turtle School practitioner to die-""Father!"From behind? Was this wishful thinking playing tricks on his ears? The King turned around to see her running straight at him. Her coat had seen cleaner times, but other than that, she looked just fine. "Felicia?" It was like an egregiously cliched scene from a disaster film, where a parent and child would be reunited with each other amidst the aftermath of some great catastrophe, days, weeks, maybe even months after having been first separated. Surrounded by rubble, flames, and unspeakable destruction, they would hug tightly to the swelling of the soundtrack. Their first words would be how much they missed each other, how worried they were for each other, or how they just knew, deep down in their heart of hearts, that the other was still alive. One variation of that or another. The next set of words would usually come from the incredulous parent. "So then they managed to save you?"The little vixen nodded. "This brave cat, and... umm..." She'd heard the last words of the mysterious one-eyed tsundere. Who still until the end insisted that he wasn't a good guy. "A man whose actions spoke louder than his words. They both saved me."King Ches looked up at the Turtle warrior, who was indeed there. Although the mysterious fiery one-eyed man was not. "Master Will," he wasn't quite sure if the cat was a master, or a student. But with this feat, it didn't quite matter to him. "I am eternally grateful for your going the extra mile. If there is anything the Turtle School requires, I will see what I can do for it."Before any other words could be said, however, something else caught his eye. Toward the center of the camp, what could only be described as a gigantic tear in the fabric of reality itself, focused on consuming the... thing. It radiated a different feeling compared to the... thing. Something more comprehensible. As if releasing pent up frustration. More likely than not, this was the Lieutenant's doing. As if on cue, the clouds above parted as what appeared to be a shooting star - or three - crashed down from the heavens. The BIG DADDIES had unleashed their payload. The general was correct, of course. Disguised under such parental codenames that vastly understated their power. Orbital Defense Stations capable of accelerating a multi-ton kinetic shot to a tiny percentage of the speed of light. Less than ten, if he wasn't mistaken. But the force resulting from such firepower would indeed put a 'mere' 25 kilotons' worth of overloaded fissile material to shame. It was just like watching the climax of a war movie. Except everything then disappeared. The... thing, the vortex, the shots... All replaced by a strangely expanding light in the vicinity of the park. The simplest explanation was how the Lieutenant's vortex was fast-acting. But what a fortuitous coincidence that it all came together at just the right moment. His gaze turned back down to street level, where the crimson appendages went limp, and then withered away at an alarming rate. From full-bodied tree-trunk-sized monstrosities, to desiccated husks... to ash... and then... nothing. The undead corpses also appeared to lose their ontological momentum, fading away progressively. Like a graphics app turning up the transparency from 0 to 100%. Grayze, Hattowicz, and a couple of soldiers who stayed behind to plant charges at the exit began to exchange celebratory sounds and gestures. It seemed to be so... neatly accomplished. "It looks like it's over...""I hope so..." Empty words, lacking any uncertainty. Perhaps for this plane, it was over. But not for wherever the BROKEN ANGEL had been sent. Nevertheless, she managed a smile as she turned to her rescuer, that cat who knew how to heal and fly. "I think we now have some time for introductions. I'm Felicia." the little vixen curtsied. King Ches cleared his throat. "It would probably be best if we had this someplace safer. Let's wait for everyone to return, and we can carry on at General Standish's command centre."
"All electronics are back to 100% functionality," the tech officer reported. "Everything looks clear too, except for this growing blip in the area of the park. It doesn't appear to be harmful though." "The hell it ain't." Standish took a whiff from his cigarette. "How do you know that?"The technician rubbed the back of his head. "Well uhh... I think you'd better take a look at this, Sir." A quick switch to live satellite footage at ground-level magnification. Trees. Grass. Flowers. All sorts of green things had begun reappearing in the area of the park, and in general, the expanding area of that energy signature. "What in Satan's name..."Well it certainly wasn't killing or corrupting everything it touched. So maybe it was doing something the Earth a favor. If that thing got big enough, it would turn this entire camp into a wildlife reserve indistinguishable from the Korin Wilderness. Terraformation on a level that was making him look bad in comparison. And yet, the general couldn't help but think of it as nothing less than a favour that could be used to give Operation: Crater Lake a significant boost in progress. "Whoever this guy is, I'll have to thank him later..."For now, though, he would have to bring everybody in for debriefing...
The horror charm of the dead park had now been replaced with a... wildlife documentary charm of a freshly discovered wilderness. "Pretty. Just as remembered?" He did mention that it was an ancient tourist attraction, before the destruction of the city. So was he then restoring the park to what it was? Even before the city was built? This didn't so much look like a park as it did an untouched paradise. Still holding the ace in hand, the slender fellow heretofore identified by the Princess as 'Dundy' raised it up as if to remind the man of his job offer. But what was Dundy, and how did it become friends with the little vixen? Perhaps a story for another time. For now, there was the current issue of that potential opening in a little new place called 'Purgatory'. "Have job? Will work."WC: 1316
I think that'll be the last rolling. Off to debriefing. Maybe one or two more rounds to wrap it all up. Will O. Wisp Lute Queen Kuueru T

Will was flying as fast as he could, he only had a minute left but he noticed some objects already heading towards the monster in the center. Their two minutes aren't up yet did the general have an itchy trigger finger or something. Will closed his eyes and only accepted what he presumed to be his fate. He couldn't help but cry due to the fact that he couldn't rescue the princess. And then suddenly he felt himself on solid ground and he was back at the Beachhead again. Will then turned around and saw the tender reunion of father and daughter. Now his tears are not that of despair, but are few tears of joy. Will then felt humbled by the king of Earth himself calling him a master and even offering to help in anyway he can. Before he could speak they got interrupted by the actions of the Galactic Patrolmen. "I am humbled that you refer to me as master but I have still a ways to go. I have yet to learn two moves that my previous Master Roshi himself knew. Once I do then I can be able to start my New Turtle School. Although I would be truly humbled for you to offer to help me. Although while we are alone I must warn you to be wary of those two Galactic Patrolmen, I sense a malicious aura from the both of them. The rumors of Polaris being not the white knight he seems might be true if he is willing to let such malicious soldiers work under him." Will replied to the king. Will then looked down as the princess greeted herself as Felicia. Will gave a bow in respect back. "It's a pleasure to have met you Princess Felicia, I am Will O. Wisp." he replies. Will then noticed that he could feel the Ki coming from the park area again as if all of the plants and what not that have been destroyed by this catastrophe started to regrow instantaneously. So that weird one eyed man saved us and he undid some of the damage. I don't know what your deal is or what your name was and you seem very hard to read. And yes he was not a good guy he stressed that, but for some reason or other he helped this place. Did you live here or something and did it out of sentimentality? I am not sure. But I am thankful that he came to our aide. If only I knew his name Will thought. Word Count: 428

"The Empire is always obliged to help allies in need," Lieutenant Horn said. He then took the radio piece out of his ear and crushed it. The pits of plastic and circuitry tumbled from his green fingertips into the obliterated city below. He gave Kuueru a nod. The closest thing to a thanks that he could muster. Playing the role of Lieutenant Horn had been quite taxing for Lute. But at the same time, somewhat of a relief. He didn't realize that until his quiet moment among the clouds flying away. The real Horn was still alive inside of him, still very real. The two had fused all those years ago, in a moment of desperation. Lute had dominated the fate of the merged being that replaced them both. Sure, he carried the sturdy frame and raw fighting potential of the Warrior Clansmen, but he had all the same angst of the little Dragon Clansmen seeking notice from his peers. He had let Horn's peaceful nature and fair judgement shine through. He had done a deed for the weak. That was too much for him. Even if it was for the Emperor he pledged loyalty to. Those actions alone left him feeling lost and sullen. And those defeatist emotions were unacceptable. Like a smoldering fire with gasoline thrown on it, Lute's deranged temper surged. His eyes flickered crimson as he accelerated to reckless speeds, the land rolling past him in a blurred instant. The clouds around him parted from the sonic boom left behind by his passing. Dozens of small towns, villages and cities were hit with the passing pressure wave. Windows were shattered. Car alarms blared. Dogs barked--it was mayhem. Perhaps some would think some sort of purple meteor had streaked past. In middle of a desolate desert somewhere, Lute released his fury in a single blinding flash. The ground erupted. Sand was heated to the point that it shifted to glass. He had prevented the nuclear weapons from hitting Central City, but this was just as much destructive potential. Both of his hands were clenched, his jaw tight, fangs bared. He squeezed hard enough until purple blood oozed from his palms. His chest heaved up and down as he gasped. Trembling underneath fury, he tilted his head and stared at the sky. "I will kill you."Lightning flashed and crackled. "I will kick down the gates."Winds buffeted, kicking up great drifting rings of sand. "Your divine tree will burn, your worlds will spew forth ash and flame!"These statements, of course, were aimed at the gods themselves. Whether or not they were listening didn't matter. He was coming.

Golden glimmers descended into sight once eyelids were brought to a raise. All manner of gentle, albeit tittering, birdsong flowed merrily in the wind and into his ears. Chirps from almost every nook and cranny only served to boost the radiant solitude of the completely foreign landscape. It was peaceful from sight to sound, cool from temperature to temper, and mysterious from start to end. Music to hear- art to see.
โNope.โ T closed his eyes once more, shaking his head. โNot at all like how I remembered it.โ
Not a single bit. These woods resided in a completely different state from the park he visited four years prior. Compared to the drab, artificially maintained city-park that the Lord Breaker remembered, it seemed as if the man had created some sort of forest-nirvana on Earth.
He, unwittingly, indecisively, and impossibly, healed a small fraction of the world.
A small shake of his head took place. The manโs left index finger pointed off towards the base of a nearby tree. โThere used to be a bench, right there.โ
No need to get emotional. He was a villain.
โTwo things.โ T started off as he sauntered closer to Dundy. โFirstly, not like that youโre not.โ A finger game to waggle in the lanky-long-limbed-leftover from this event. โDonโt worry about that though, we can get you something to wear. Iโm thinking... A suit.โ
Hence, he lifted up another finger to form a peace sign. โSecondly, you tell this to no-one.โ Tiny specks of light began to float up from the ground beneath their feet. โIโm the vilest villain, the blackest night, and the most furious fury-thing- thatโs that.โ
And like that, the two of them vanished.
The Perspective of A Skilled Butler
โWell,โ Cheese finally managed to make his presence mildly significant among the cast of colourful characters beside the king. โIt has been an honour to fight for Earth once again, your Majesty.โ With his right hand placed lightly upon the surface of his chest and his left behind his back, the butler bowed forth at precisely a forty-five degree angle from his waistline.
After returning to his ever-straightened posture, his gaze shifted to the Major and Sergeant. โThough the members of your personal guard are in dire need of refinement,โ said the gunman as he turned back to face King Ches. โI can and will; without a doubt; speak highly of them.โ
It was at that very moment that his image began to appear transparent. One could attribute it as a trick of light- a mere illusion. Then again, one could be completely wrong at the same time.
โKeep both spirit high with head balanced, and in due time-โ
He then shifted to gaze at the Sun right over the horizon.
โI am sure King Furry will be proud of you.โ
Or perhaps he already was.
Certainty could be such an illusive attribute. Though if one were to guess that Cheese simply faded away like a spectre, they were right.

It was done. The barren landscape that they had just created had been soon replaced by brilliant viridian forests and foliage. The woman gazed down at the new life springing forth after her and Luteโs destruction---of course, she was content that the copious piles of rotting flesh were gone.
โHornโ only managed to give her a disgruntled nod before flying off into the distance. However his aura was flaring, and once he was far enough away she could feel him expend his energy in rage. To be frank, Kuueru was unaware of what plague the Namekianโs mind. However, this entire ordeal seemed to upset his balance in some way. She would have to inquire later, but firstโฆ
The demoness in disguise landed amongst the others for debriefing, though--it only seemed to be her and the feline left. She too would need to leave soon, she wasnโt the type to linger---but she did enjoy meeting new faces. With a smile and a tiny wave she looked towards King Ches.
โAhh, ignore my associate, he was a bit tired and decided to retire early for the evening. However, the Empire was glad to show itโs face today, we hope we at least aided the cause,โ Kuueru cleared her throat afterwards before giving the group another friendly not and wave.
โAlas, be seeinโ ya,โ with that the demoness vanished, her body propelling through time and space until she returned to her place of sleep for the night. Lute ๐ธ๐๐๐๐ T Will O. Wisp
