Ishmael's eyes widened as he saw the red-clad warrior blast back into Vuvuzela's attack, annihilating a gargantuan amount of land and fracturing the very earth. Radiation and heat shimmered through the sky.
He flashed towards the one in purple and grabbed her by the collar, not really caring if she moved herself out of his way or pulled out of his grasp so long as he had her attention.
"LISTEN!" He bellowed. "YOU CLAIM TO HAVE STARTED THIS BATTLE FOR THE GOOD OF THIS PLANET! NOW WHY DON'T YOU REIN YOUR FRIEND HERE IN BEFORE SHE DESTROYS THE ENTIRE THING AND KILLS THOUSANDS!"
He glanced back again at the countless hectares of burned stumps and dead animals. Sure, the landscape could renew, but Cipher had still slaughtered millions of innocent creatures and had possible leveled part of the city itself. Real estate was renewable. Lives were not.
"Leave here and never return," he hissed angrily. "Leave if you really give a damn about anyone's well-being. I don't know who you are or why you came here, but your partner is out of control and in grave danger of slaughtering innocents. For the love of whatever god you believe in, get the hell out."

The very moment that the berserk nightmare began to strike at Cipher, Audrey speeds in between the two and unleashes a full powered blasting punch to it’s face, while forming a protective barrier around her ally. The bulk of it’s body is blown back, but numerous appendages make their way past, before they whip their body back around the android and straight towards their target, Cipher. A massive wave of explosive blows blasts against the barrier for barely a second, buying Cipher just enough time to charge and fire a massive ball of destructive energy that would completely consume the now screeching abomination.
The Demon Saiyan follows through with an equally gigantic beam of energy that adds it’s force to the sphere, causing it to barrel down towards the planet and explode. It’s massive detonation forces Marimba to start disintegrating, as the world around the blast turns to dust farther than they eye can see, and causes catastrophic damage ranging even farther than that. When the dust settles, and the deafening sound of world destruction quiets down, Cipher mockingly asks the buried immortal warrior if he feels fear, before Ishmael begins shouting at the Valkyries for their apathy towards the many lives they killed in that attack.
Marimba himself was buried under a huge plume of dust, yet it was clear to anyone who was paying attention that he was still alive because they could still feel his seething ki raging strong from beneath the planet, yet not as strong as it was when he used Chaos Trigger. The self-induced madness tied the using that technique had ended and he would be able to think rationally if he weren’t in such overwhelming agony. To the assassin, giving up by passing out would be worse than being sent to hell itself, especially before he was able to draw blood. Surely his father would regret ever creating him, and Marimba would be ostracized by the one being who ever could conceivably care about him.
It would be a pain that would exceed even the most intense physical torment. A pain which would last eternity, even through death. A pain which no satisfaction could ever be derived from, even to a masochist like him. It’s these thoughts that he was thinking of, as he barely manages to blast through the sand above and climb to his feet out of his dusty tomb.
The magnitude of damage that marred his appearance looked something you would see on the cover of a metal album. Half of the flesh on his body was missing, revealing part of his cracked skull and inner bones, with the other half being burned or badly bruised. He still exhibited half skeletal draconic wings, despite how all of his other appendages disappeared after chaos trigger ended.
He would have some choice words to say to that hypocrite Cipher, but his jaw was locked up, he couldn’t hear anything over the mind piercing screech in his ear, and he needed to focus everything he had left on injuring his foe before he would collapse. In spite of his condition, his inner power still waxed strong, and he was still able to come up with a quick plan to make her bleed. Raising his claws to the sky, he gather forward a surge of red ki.
When finished he fires a forceful fountain of deadly curving ki streams at the saiyan, each seeking to slash at or stab through her. All of the energy from the attacks inevitably end up past her, gathering into a looming sphere behind the masked swordswoman. When the assault from the front hits it’s halfway point, the looming energy behind her ejects back out from the sphere and slams into the new incoming energy, causing numerous explosions coming at and around Cipher that tear up the sky. Before he concludes the attack, he sends a quick telepathic thought to Cipher, without losing focus on the battle at hand.
“I’ve battled against Majjin Lords and Super Saiyans alike and have survived far worse from them. There’s a reason I’m called an Immortal.”

A small smirk crossed Audrey's face slightly as she watched Cipher used the opportunity to blast the creature with her energy wave into smithereens. As always, her partner knew how to put on a show when it comes to smiting scum like him. Had he simply been a warrior who was outmatched, she would perhaps reserved some sort of sympathy but the filth was expelling some serious dark energy shit. Ever since he pulled that attack, her opinion had gradually shift into disposing this thing not within a dumpster but inside a furnace. However, the space pirate thought differently. So shocked he was by Cipher's show of power that it appeared he developed short term memory loss. What else could explain the words he bellowed at the top of his lungs whiole he grab her, as if he had not bore witness to his partners attack. The fact that Marimba somehow managed to get up from that attack alone prove that it was not overkill. Or perhaps, it was not memory loss he developed but something a bit more common. Hypocrisy. Her face warped into one of disgust under the mask...and not just from the spray of saliva heading her way nor was it that he was too close for comfort. It was the fact that he was willing to defend his partner for that attrocity he commited. She wondered at first whether she should dignify him with a response but more right now there was more pressing matter. No, not the green cockroach that show far greater than resilience than she preferred. Moreso that Ishmael had baptise her mask with saliva. Without a word, she simply shoved the space pirate backward. Whether or not that succeeded, she would move out of the way to make space for the ass beating that was about to commence. The android then threw a cleansing capsule to her partner which would dispel every ill effect Ishmael had inflicted on her earlier. As for herself, she would just have to endure for a bit more. "Partner, he just sprayed saliva all over my mask. Be a darling and show him why that's not a good idea." the android requested as she took out her handkerchief from one of her pocket to wipe away whereever Ishmael had touch and breathe on her. The damage Marimba incurred brought a smile to the Saiyan’s face. Cipher managed to eradicate the majority of the rotten flesh once clinging to his body. The notion that she caused the man severe pain while maiming his obstinate body pleased her. Fractures lined his skull while grisly burns and bruises peppered his large frame. Cipher inhaled, filling her nostrils with the aroma of violence. For some inexplicable reason, she felt incapable of renewing her vigour because of the pirate’s sudden puerile outburst. Dark laughter escaped her lips while she stretched her arms by her sides. The flaws in their logic continued to entertain her. Hypocrisy. “Your friend exhibits an aura that can only be described as virulent and evil. It was to the point where it withered, rotted, and slaughtered wildlife for miles on end. He blackened the skies and threatened the integrity of the planet itself. My attack merely incinerated the corpses and dead vegetation he left in his wake. I claimed no innocent lives, your ally did that. Yet, you still aid him. You’re a hypocrite and are just as evil as your friend.”Then again, Cipher failed to remember a moment where either of their nonsensical opponents made a lick of sense. The space pirate prattled on about the good of the planet while aiding a literal walking wasteland that indiscriminately poisoned and killed life around him, and then blamed her for doing that. Even though Cipher didn’t do anything but knock around what Marimba already decimated and killed. The swordswoman hunkered down and channelled energy through her body to reinforce herself against the energy-based onslaught. She appeared to be consumed by an array of slashes and violent explosions before Marimba conveyed his thoughts to her. Once the dust settled, Cipher remained almost unchanged. She soaked up the attack with the many energy-based reinforcements covering her body. And even though her hair and eyes remained unchanged, she released her full power. Augmented by Audrey’s energy, she harnessed her full potential as a golden aura exploded around her frame. Her power level spiked considerably while she eyed each opponent. Cipher nearly finished one. She decided to shift her focus. Cipher humoured the caricature with a verbal response to his communed thoughts. “Was that supposed to hurt? Your ‘Immortality’ is glorified persistence you piece of shit. You and your ilk are nothing more than jokes—crude toilet humour at best.” The Saiyan sneered before raising her hand into the air. Opening her palm, she caught the capsule Audrey tossed towards her. The capsule released a restorative veil of violet mist when she squeezed it in her hand, removing every malady imposed on her since the beginning of the fight. With the frigid embrace alleviated, she felt a lot better. “It’s your turn now, boy.”Laughing, Cipher suddenly vanished and appeared right in front of Ishmael, exploiting the distraction caused by Audrey’s shove. She started by launching a roundhouse kick aimed for his temple. Cipher backed it with enough force to send him flying. Hit or miss, she withdrew her sword and unleashed a massive combo of slashes too fast for the eye to see, aiming to carve him to pieces as his partner tried to do to her before. It would be difficult to get Marimba even angrier than he already was, especially at Audrey. But, With that remark, his hatred hit near peak for the masked saiyan. From that very moment, he swore in his very soul that Cipher was his new mortal enemy. Despised beyond even Maxsuz Argin himself, who slaughtered the Namekian’s family, Marimba would hunt her down to the ends of the universe to make her bleed for that insult to his clan, and everything that they stood for.
He knew she wasn’t to strong for him to defeat. The Saiyan was simply deluded because of the formidable barrier that protected her from harm, like the illusion that a big enough wall makes a city invincible. He had weakened that barrier with his previous maneuver, so it was high time he blew the wall down, and give her a rude awakening to how seriously the immortals are to be taken.
Marimba shoots into the sky and interplaces himself between Cipher, interrupting her assault against the human assassin, and resulting in Marimba being harshly impaled through the gut. He didn’t feel it, not because he was tough, but because his rage and pre-existing pain drowned out any sensation it would give him, and he was already critically injured beyond that where he should be able to move. The Immortal Warrior retaliates, by swinging a single ki-empowered punch at her that burns with a dark aura, while telepathically shouting.
“YOUR BATTLE IS STILL WITH ME SAIYAN TRASH!”
The intention of the strike was to penetrate through her barrier and hit her head on. The dark aura on the strike would then latch onto her and envelop her body, causing it explode in a series of violent blasts a second later. While this happens, the half skeletal beast extend forth his hands, before unleashing a chaotic darkness blaster to burst over her, that could shred her body from it’s slicing energy.Then, the recoil of his own attack hits him. He experiences a loud crunching of his weakened bones, as they snap and collapse within him, while his vison fades to white. The girl’s only response was to call her companion to attack.
Ishmael stared into her visor for a moment, then Cipher appeared above her, aiming a roundhouse kick and a mouthful at him.
Ishmael ducked the kick and stepped back, unblinking though surprised as Marimba knocked one of her blows aside and assisted the assault.
”People like you two sicken me.” His sword parried Cipher’s, and he sidestepped her next stroke.
”Children wrongly blessed with the might of gods, self-obsessed and bent on using the crimes of others to justify committing those same crimes a thousandfold.”
Ishmael’s swords were a blur, clashing with Cipher’s flurry of attacks. Lightning crackled in the sky, and a bolt of it flew at Audrey, though the assassin’s eyes never left Cipher.
”Tell me... you still consider yourselves heroes, don’t you? You see yourselves as harbingers of justice and righteousness. Anyone who says otherwise is an inconsequential wrongodoer. Who needs fiber or reason when you have physical strength?” He halted his backwards motion, slashing back into a particularly powerful slice and countering yet another of the endless attacks.
“I never claimed to be a hero, or even a good person. But I have the strength to accept who I am, unlike you two capering cowards. That is why you can’t be respected. Not because you are powerful, or because you commit crimes, but because at the end of the day, you are the exact same as those your persecute.” The swords clashed a final time, throwing up sparks. His eyes locked with Cipher’s.
”And yet, you lack the spine to look in the mirror.” Ishmael pushed back and slashed back at her, a single strong stroke that aimed to cut a line across her chest.

Ah, heroes. The ideal shining pillar of justice, one which would make people rally around them. They are what makes myths and legends, whose tale was made into song and bedtime stories. They are the inspiration to which people aspired to be, especially when they joined the military service. Fame, riches and prestige awaits those who serve faithfully, even more so in the line of duty. But heroes would be the last thing she would describe herself. Despite the flesh she had obtained thanks to the pact with Anzu, she still remembered her origin an android. Programmed to be a killing machine who will have no qualm to do what humans with feelings cannot, she was designed to take the extra step necessary to achieve her objective while the top brass and a selected figure receive most of the praises. Afterall, "human rights" do not apply to a synthetic being. The idea for the creation of her kind was for them to have someone who can be easily disposed and be a scapegoat for if things do not go as planned. "That's where you are wrong. We do these not because we see ourself as heroes but because nobody else will. If you are going to preach about the afterlife next, save it. I've long since given up on heaven or any other equivalent to it." The android chuckled softly. She watched as Marimba attempted to attack Cipher again, one last time before falling to the ground. Her initial reflex was to protect her but after seeing how she handle herself throughout the fight, the android knew that she can count on Cipher to protect herself. Audrey watch as mutant collapsed to the floor before she flew down towards him. Just hovering close to the mutant, the stench was almost unbearable. Normally she would not have done this but after seeing the destruction Marimba was willing to commit to defeat them both she had revised her opinion. This creature was the same as Kinjin, the difference between their power level was like heaven and earth but if let loose they will surely commit more destruction and kill innocent lives in their wake. Just watching one town alone decorated with piles of bodies that wasn't even involved in a war was enough for her to promise that she will nip every bud she stumbled upon. On top of that, that the android cannot forgive the insult the creature sling towards Cipher. Audrey wasn't the type to howl and froth in her mouth with fury. Imbrued she may be with deep rage, her tone would always be cool and serene unless it was meant to provoke a reaction out of the enemy. Channeling a tiny bit of healing energy towards Marimba, she wanted to make sure the mutant was awake for this. Immediately she stamped her foot on his cheek not enough to send him back down under but enough for him to feel the pain behind them. "You know, on earth we also have immortals. They actually reminded me a lot about you. Do you know what we call them? Cockroaches." Audrey smirked slightly as she pop a dynocaps to reveal a long sword. With it, she spin the blade around so it's tip was pointing straight towards it's heart. For this she even took off her mask so that Marimba can see her face. The whole time she was speaking with a soothing tone and a smile like one of an angel. Except this angel was not here to guide one to paradise. "They're pests which plagues everywhere they go. Which is why I can't let you live. But look at the bright side, you get to see a beaut ushering you to the other side." Inch by inch, the blade plunges at Marimba's heart to make the death as slow as possible. "Your journey ends here Marimba." With a final plunge the the android attempt to stab the creature's heart thoroughly, before she pull the sword away to rejoin Cipher. Without a glance at Marimba's direction, she fired an energy blast which would disintegrate every cell of his body. The assassin deftly avoided her kick. When she went for her follow-up, she felt her sword slice through the man’s partner in crime instead. Cipher narrowed her eyes behind her mask and clicked her tongue, ripping the blade out of the shambling mutant. That annoyance needed to be dealt with duly. Cipher disappeared when he attempted to throw a punch at her and appeared ten meters away. When he prepared his next attack, she reinforced her body with energy in order to mitigate it. However, her actions were the opposite. She stretched her arms out by her sides, mimicking Marimba in the beginning of the fight. It looked like she welcomed the onslaught even if you couldn’t see her face. If his eyes were of use in the aftermath of his attack, he could see the debris clear and the Saiyan warrior standing there in the same pose with no damage incurred. “You can never surpass me...” Cipher sneered, watching him plummet to the ground. After resuming her assault on his counterpart, the man parried her attack. Continuing to used the power he drained from her partner, he avoided the next stroke. She felt her blood heat up upon finally stumbling upon an opponent with some amount of skill. Cipher listened to his spiel. This speech was apparently so grating that listening to it hurt. She was still able to sense fluctuations in his aura and evade his flurry of attacks despite being distracted by his words. She avoided every blow he assaulted her with while he continued to bombard her with hypocrisy. She took a step back. Audrey had decisively disposed of the aberration that blighted them for a short while, but still too long. Cipher had her own choice commentary to add to the situation. “You only just met us, but you make a lot of assumptions. I have never in my life deigned to call myself a hero. I have never in my life aspired to be a hero. I agree with your claims; those who pursue the path of a hero are damned to a life of hypocrisy. But don’t take my ideologies and actions as the core reasoning of the people I aid. They all want to do good, I’m merely the black sheep of the group.”She shrugged. “I am a Saiyan. I live to fight. I yearn to die thrashing and bloody on the battlefield. Your ally, being a threat to the planet, was the perfect way to sublimate that desire. I’m not a good person, and I never wanted to be one.”Brandishing her sword once again, her golden aura flared around her. “This is your last chance to leave, assassin. I have no intention to destroy your planet. The next thing Marimba knew, he was barely conscious, with one of his enemies standing above him, his vision a blur. As soon as he tried to move, he would receive a stomp to his cheek that would keep him down. He was completely helpless to do as much as scratch her in this state. His power level could be felt falling and plummeting hard, but it was clearly not being channeled into any kind of attack. Still, he wore a very subtle nefarious smile, even as she pulled out a blade.
Marimba chuckles to himself, and then responds.
“I know that you in your simple mind intend that as an insult. But I have known of this creature, they exist on Namek as well under a different name, Insomnie. They have earned a réputation as an unkillable restless and ceaseless swarm. Even after all of the living races have perished away, it is said that they will still survive. Yes, that certainly describes us well. "
As she talks a grotesque gargling noise could be heard from his mouth, as little splurges of blood and fluid flow from it. Then an egg as big as Marimba’s head rockets out into the sky from his throat. This action was quickly followed through with the utterance of a few eldritch words. After which, it completely disappears from sight in a cloud of iridescent dust. When this his finished, he wheezes weakly, as his body begins to shrivel up. The process had aged him seemly almost 1,000 years, leaving him only enough strength to speak his last words.
"You know, they say even if you manage to squash one, their eggs persist, hiding under the sole of your shoes, as they hitch a ride to your domain. You sleep soundly, thinking little of them, until wake up a few days later, and find that they have completely taken over your home, devouring everything in sight."
"We do have an advantage over the Insomnie in that aspect. It’s that our race has no need for any females. Because if we had to deal with touching your ilk to survive, we would have allowed ourselves to go extinct long agAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
Marimba’s poorly thought out sexist insult is interrupted by several sharp a viscous stabs to his hearts. But he still manages to persist living somehow. Marimba hurries up trying to say what was important, knowing that his remaining time in this world was now less than even a minute.
" The fruits of your actions reveal you to be as destructive as I am. You thought that attacking us would save the beauty of this world, but because you interfered now it is desolate. You thought that killing me would stop any more destruction, but now more Evil has festered in this universe because of it. You think this is the end of me, but I will rise again."
With that said, Audrey unleashes a massive blast of energy, that obliterates Marimba’s entire body and sends the twisted soul straight to the otherworld. 577 Words.

Marimba’s last words clung in the air like a curtain of dry dust, even as the last of the fatal blast faded away. Ozone and smoke poured from the crater. Nothing was left of Vuvuzela, even his egg hacing disappeared in a cloud of pink mist. Ishmael glanced in revulsion at where his egg had vanished, though his expression didn’t change when his gaze shifted over the unmasked Audrey and her companion.
”I see there is nothing left for me here.” He sheathed his sabers, the storm clouds beginning to release a slight drizzle. Water droplets steamed in the shattered ruins of the crust below him, falling into magma flows and rolling down the sides of rocks.
Even now, the planet was slowly repairing itself. The stone was slowly pushing itself up, visibly crawling back towards its original position. Magma magically receded into the ground. Dust coalesced in cracks; rocks slowly tumbled uphill to their old homes.
Ishmael produced an antique watch from the pocket of his cloak, sliding the lid open and glancing down at the glass face. The second hand ticked slowly.
Without looking up, he continued, “If you two wish to leave, I’d suggest concentrating a bit of power into yourselves. I’m sure your light from earlier would be interested in that. Or go back the direction you came. I’m not sure how you ever got here in the first place, but perhaps that path is open.”
He snapped the watch shut then, and with a slight moment of concentration, he disappeared.
Ishmael looked up into the swirling energy of the dimension between the Mirror Realm and the regular universe. A pinprick of light appeared up ahead, growing larger and larger.
He glanced down at Maxsuz’s transporter watch, then back down the tunnel at the world he’d come from.
With a shrug, he tossed the watch into the slipstream and flew out into the light.

The android snorted slightly after hearing Marimba's final rant. Even if he somehow manage to come back, she will just have to put him six feet under again. The egg that Marimba released from his mouth was worrying but it was too late for her to do anything about it. No matter, whatever spawn that comes out of it would be fulminated if it turns out to be anything like it's predecessor. The Assassin must have realized that he's in quite a disadvantage to fight against them both as he decided to take Cipher's advise to leave the area. The android tilted her head slightly as she consider attacking him while his back is turned towards her...before she decided not to pursue, her eyes more focused on how Ishmael escape from the planet. Hypocritical he may be, the damage he himself had done was minimal. After seeing what happened here, hopefully he would think twice before associating himself with other criminal elements. At the very least the damage Cipher had dealt to their surrounding slowly restored to how it was before. Good, that would save her the problem of trying to cover what had transpired earlier. "Looks like that's a wrap. Good job Cipher." The android complimented her partner as she returned her sword into capsule form. Even now, there was no sign of the portal in sight. Contacting Friday informed her that it was still trying to locate Atreus energy signature while ensuring the portal would be stable enough to transport them other than the intended location. "I'm eager to leave this planet but the portal is still unstable. Guess we just have to do this the old fashion way. Let me know when you are ready." said the android while stretching slightly, as she waited for her partner. That was certainly an interesting diversion at least. Somewhere below her, something unimportant rambled about bugs and eggs before dying miserably. Her disinterest in its words rivalled that of its pitiful performance against her. The Saiyan failed to pay enough attention to notice the exact details between carefully watching the actions of the assassin. Instead of continuing with the bout, the man decided to submit and leave them to their devices. She continued to wonder why he aided the monstrosity in the first place, but not for long. He supplied them with vital instructions before departing. The Saiyan’s blade exuded a metallic hiss while she slid it back into the confines of her sheath. She watched the environment start mending itself, raising her brow behind her mask. It failed to surprise her too much. In her days, she witnessed planets capable of trapping you in your own nightmare. This phenomenon reduced the need for her to care about the destruction she caused. Once again, she only destroyed what Marimba already tainted with his blight. At least the assassin possessed enough wit to understand that in the end. Hearing Audrey compliment her performance, she nodded and drifted down to her position. Her feet clapped against the ground while her aura faded. The fight failed to elicit any sense of danger in the Saiyan, the most damage she incurred being mental in nature from the assassin’s misinformed rant. She demonstrated her mental exhaustion of being present on the planet with a haggard sigh. “Indeed. Let’s go before we’re treated to anymore of this rock’s ever-so-fun surprises.” With those words, Cipher indulged Audrey’s embrace. The next thing she knew, the android teleported them both off the foreign premises for good. Audrey
