Asuka has long brown hair that she keeps in a braid, and wears a red headband which she keeps tucked in her pocket whenever she isn’t fighting. She wears a red pair of canvas shoes. A pair of dark tights along with a pair of fingerless combat gloves. She also carries a duffle bag with her which carries all of her belongings.

MOTIVATIONS:

After fighting to a draw with her longtime Rival Bridget, Asuka sets out to face more powerful fighters in order to improve her strength but also wishes to help people through the many facets that martial arts can teach others.

QUIRKS:

Asuka is also a huge gamer and carries a small handheld where she keeps copies of many of her favorite fighting games and platformers that she plays while on her long bus rides from city to city.

BONDS:

Asuka shares a bond with her rival Bridget albeit an uneasy one and her dog Shin'yu.

BACKSTORY:

After witnessing the World Martial Arts tournament, Asuka became overwhelmed with joy and asked her parents to enroll her in a martial arts course, however while she had a ton of natural talent for the basics she had a hard time grasping some of the special techniques taught by her instructor which required the use of Ki. However, upon earning her black belt, in order to prove to herself that she was worthy of it, she decided to enter an underground street fighting tournament, but lost in the semi-finals as a result of a draw against a Streetfighter named Bridget, after her signature ki wave the "Tetsu-ha kōgeki" detonated after colliding with Bridget's fist as she attempted to punch through it with the resulting explosion rendering both of them unconscious. Having been humbled by this experience, Asuka left her hometown of “Cup City.” in pursuit of greater knowledge in order to return and defeat her newfound rival. And so armed with a duffle bag, a passport, a Polaroid camera, her trusty gi and headband and her favorite “game-guy” color game “Legacy Fighters” Asuka embarks on an adventure to improve herself and make a few friends along the way.

CALL TO ACTION:

After losing her first tournament Asuka sets out to enter into more and hone her skills as a fighter. Taking on all comers, taking her losses as a chance to reflect and improve herself and victories as a chance to help her opponent.
