In a way, the fusion technique was quite scary. Merging with another to form a unique entity of it's own? There was certainly a slight concern that it may not work for them both. What should she do if that were the case? She imagined Cipher would feel sad as this was the only chance for her to have a taste of the transformation. What if it does work however? The android assumed the merge would be beyond the physical. Their personality would also fuse....as well as their memories. In front of that Saiyan the android had always try to show her best self but if they truly fused in all sense of the word, that would mean revealing the worst and ugly part of herself. Not that she was trying to hide them intentionally but some times these were never brought up in casual conversation. Frankly, the thought scared her to no end. Would the Saiyan look at her in lesser light? Cipher had always been accepting of her so far and the words the Saiyan said about never leaving her side no matter what happens come to her mind. The android exhale slightly, using those words as reassurance. That line of thought goes both ways, surely the Saiyan had her skeletons in the closet that she do not feel free to share. Just as she would accept the woman no matter what she had shown her, the Saiyan would surely share her sentiment. "Almost." Audrey uttered as she walked towards her until they are face to face. It wasn't actually necessary for them to be this close to do the fusion, the android just wanted to engrave her lover's look into her memory. Skin light as porcelain, hair as dark as the night itself. The crimson orbs were like rubies, reflecting passion and enthusiasm in them. Reaching out, the android cupped her cheek before she leaned in and kissed her. No backing out the last minute, no hesitation, where the liquor provided her with false courage the kiss was meant to provide what the drink never could. From this on forth, the android would mentally connect with her lover using telepathic connection to synchronize the both of them to the fullest. She just hope that it worked for the both. I'm ready. Do it.As such, whenever Cipher put on the earring a new being, the android felt a sensation where she was pulled into her lover. There was a flash of light which sent ripples across the holodeck, eroding them into light particles from sheer energy output alone. When the light finally died out, the two figures that stood there before had disappeared and instead a new one emerged. As of that moment, Valkyrie's strongest warrior is born. Instead of putting the earring in, Cipher paused when she heard Audrey’s request to hold off for a few moments. Her crimson pools soaked in the sight of the android moving towards her and ultimately locked onto her when she arrived. Sensing the golden hues parallel to her scarlet ones on her, she looked deeply into them. She scrutinized them close enough to see her own reflection within. Fair skin, silver hair reminiscent of soft moonlight were the defining physical characteristics of the woman she called her own. A smile ghosted her lips when she felt her hands placed on her cheeks. Predicting what was to come, the Saiyan leaned into the gesture and sheathed sanguine eyes behind delicate lids. The passion conveyed through the windows of her soul was transferred into the kiss while she wrapped her arms around her. Cipher cherished everything in that moment; her warmth, the feeling of her against herself, her breath and her passion. Some may deem moments like these out of place in the warring state of the universe, but their rarity and the ability to lose them at the drop of a hat made it necessary to cherish them even more. She felt her heart pound against her chest but somehow maintained some semblance of composure. As much as she enjoyed fighting, it was second to how much she enjoyed that. When the telepathic link she grew accustomed to over time was established, the moment of reckoning was at bay. Nodding in response, she felt as though her heart might spring out of her chest if she didn’t do it now. Clearing her thoughts and bringing the Potara earring next to her ear, she pushed it through her piercing. The effects were immediate. Their bodies melded together in a blinding flash of light that washed over the holodeck. Audrey and Cipher had vanished, the amorphous light forming the shape of a feminine figure before the veil of white was taken away in an instant. A Potara in each ear, the figure standing in the midst of the holodeck was not Audrey nor Cipher… Her hair was a mixture of white and black, a shaggy mane that combined the colours of winter with the cold night sky. She boasted a set of heterochromatic eyes; one shining in favour of Audrey’s golden hue, and one a deep crimson reflecting Cipher. A prehensile, Saiyan tail extended from her waist before duly wrapping around it. The outfit was mostly Cipher’s own garb and Audrey’s wed together. An ungodly amount of power wafted off of her; it was as though the solar system itself was drowned in a suffocating ocean of power. It seemed to slowly escalate as time went on… The being looked at her palm, gauging the power coursing through her veins. She closed it into a fist, turning her gaze ahead of her. Her lips grew into a sinister smirk dwarfing the malice capable of either fusee, an eerie wind rustling her hair. “Audrey, Cipher. A.C. Ace, yes, that flows well…” She started, before looking upward. Her voice was doubled over, as though both of them were speaking at the same time. “I am Ace.” Audrey | bgm: friend awakening battle | 531/5514

The being that had newly emerged than began to scan the surrounding of the holodeck. The place looked like somebody had thrown a grenade inside the room with every furniture that was close to them was sent back flying, before slowly dissolving into fairy dust. So much power coursing through the body....and she hasn't even begin to transform yet. The desire to test out the power within her was strong...only second to the desire to test out the transformation of the new form. But why should she test the new form here where the only witness to her splendor were mere droids? A memory came to mind where a certain Emperor show off it's fifth form...yes it would certainly be worthy to test her newfound power. Malicious thoughts flow into her mind of ripping it's limbs from the body before proceeding to torture the Emperor to see just how much pain that thing could withstand. The mere thought give her joy and she would have acted upon them immediately before she remembered that she's supposed to split into two forms. How annoying. Her power clearly transcends the duo by leaps and bounds, why would she even need to split in first place. Yet, she felt as if things would be a lot more troublesome if she didn't heed this desire so reluctantly she pulled off the earring to as to trigger the fission. However, nothing whatsover happened. Perhaps it triggered upon thought? The being then try to focus upon the thought of splitting but once more met with end result. Well, not like she really wanted to split in first place anyway. She had tried and it didn't work. Simple as that. Before she could decide to attack the Abayyor, another thought come to surface. She had intended to train with this form in a different realm. The demon realm to be exact...she remembered there were plenty of strong opponents there waiting for her. As she was now, not even the ultramarines would stand a chance against them both. Having decided the place to test out her power, she placed the tip and middle finger on her forehead before warping out of the holodeck directly into the demon realm. --------------------------------- Violet sky and barren ground greeted Ace's eyes when she arrived at the demon realm. Dark energy flow around them in vast amount that she could taste it at the very tip of her tongue. Weirdly shaped trees with just as weird fruits could be seen near them but none compared to a huge tree they could see on the horizon. It's size alone would have dwarved any manmade or xenos structure the duo had seen. With her sharp ears she could pick up the sound of battle in the distance, most likely spurred by the desire to obtain the fruit of might. The bloodlust in her rose, just as the desire to head for the battlefield immediately. Not that she needed the fruit of might herself but she wanted to see just how strong these demons are compared to her. With that the being take a step and began to fly, her eyes scanning the ground for signs of conflict. Unlike most other creatures, the demons relied moreso on magic than ki techniques thus it would be by tracing these dark powers that she could locate them. Even in the distance she could hear the scream of pain, followed by an eerie laughter as if mocking the weaklings. Rather than intimidated, these sounds were like music to her ears as she flew close enough to land upon a boulder. Underneath, various demons clashed against each other while wielding arcane arts. Fiery inferno scorched the ground and there was lightning in the sky cast upon in retaliation. Earthshaking strike hit upon the ground by the larger ogres, creating crater on the barren surface of the earth. Ace would notice that some of the demons were humanoid in shape, the difference being their skin were of different hues than normal human. Their ears were elongated too, with some of them sporting horns but she could see others that didn't. Others look more monstrous and ogre-like in nature while some doesn't even have a remotely human-form shape at all. Familiars perhaps? Their power level was also quite high...with the lowest amongst them would still be formidable enough warrior on earth. Now then....which one should she start upon? Who indeed? Ace’s heterochromatic eyes continued to scan the vicinity. As fate would have it, she seemed to have stumbled upon a goldmine of prey to test her prowess on. Humanoids comprised of colours of every spectrum of the rainbow littered the land, all quarreling amongst each other in hopes of sinking their teeth into a fruit nefariously succulent in power. With her level of power, Ace required no such means of bolstering her power. As commendable as these creatures were, surely the insects and rodents under her could not fathom taking on the falcon soaring above them. That was the fun part about the demon realm. While she was positive consequence had little impact on a being such as she, for beings of her strength dictated the rules of the game rather than obeyed them, she could still do whatever she desired without any of her allies asking very, very nicely for her to stop. She was free to pick her foes apart to her leisure. Like picking off the wings of a fly, or the limbs of a spider, she could torture and make all of these inept sacks of flesh suffer and relish in the titanic waves of euphoria it sent rippling through her body. A giggle escaped her as she moved her hand to her side, materializing her weapon of choice. It appeared as a hybridization of Audrey and Cipher’s weapon of choice; thus, it was a Western-styled, slender black sword that seemed to reach a length of at least nine feet. As it crystallized into existence, black and white dust shimmered in the wake of its creation before fading away. Gripping it tightly in her hand, she decided that she would start on the small fry and work her way up. The weak, the strong, they were all fair game. Who cared about priorities? Just butcher them all. They were mere livestock to be consumed. There was a fuschia coloured lanky demon currently recovering from a bout with a larger specimen. His ears were pointed and he boasted a pair of black spectacles. Green gym shorts and a white tank top were his lone protection against the elements. Ace thought he looked stupid, and thus she would kill him first. In the blink of an eye, she vanished from sight. Nobody could notice anything that happened in between; the thrust of the sword, the erasure of space between them both happened in an instant. The creature didn’t see anything in front of him—Ace was behind him after all. What he did see was an exceptionally long black sword jutting out of his strength. He felt cold, the heat rapidly leaving his body. The lone source of heat was the searing sensation in his chest. Unlike Hollywood depictions, death wasn’t as dramatic as it was made to be. There wasn’t any vigorous blood spatter or exaggerated sound effects. The sound resembled someone putting a knife through a cold slab of meat; hardly audible to the ear. Extracting the blade from the wound, the creature produced a wet gurgle… “W-who--..” Before he was abruptly cut in half. Ace smiled. “Oh dear. Where are my manners? I forgot to introduce myself. I am Ace, and I will be killing you all today.” Audrey | 548/6062 words

The demon who dwelled within the demon realm comprised of various kinds...but they all lived under the same rule, might makes right. Whatever the nature of the strength behind them the demon care not, their only concern was that it was powerful enough to overcome their foes. Thus whether they were a close range combatant who are expert in swordsmanship, a sage with thousand years of experience who mastered arcane arts...or even a race of Majin that had just pop up into existence....they were all equal in the demons eyes. So is this humanoid being who decided to make a grand entrance in front of them. The effect after the slaying of one of their own was immediate. All the demons who were attacking each other earlier stopped upon feeling the vast power that had appeared in front of them, their focus converging upon the person. Despite looking humanoid just like them, the newcomer didn't have any elongated ears or horns indicative of their race. Nor were they sporting a tattoo, a banner, anything that indicated they served under a certain high ranking or famous demon. That she declared that she was going to kill them all informed them enough that this newcomer was on none of their side. Scary though she may be against a number of them but surely the cumulative numbers of them all would be enough to knock her off her high horse. It was also quite clear from the sword she held in her hand that diplomacy would not be an option. In the face of this new deadly threat, a silent accord has been reached. They would attempt to take her down and tear her apart. Granted, they didn't exactly have the best of teamwork, as just mere moments ago they were in a brawl to kill each other. However, they do have enough numbers to make up for the different in power level. Laughter can be heard in the air as some of them jeered and ridicule her, perhaps in an attempt to mess with her confidence. "Kekeke, do you have a deathwish little girl? Once we're done with you, there won't even be a single piece of your bone left." one of the more brash of the demon said as it stepped forward. Nodding to the other demons and ogre who bore the same tattoo, the demon rushed along with it's comrades to slice her into ribbons or smash her into bloody pulp. The more cautious ones stayed back as they intended to study Ace's fighting style first. As she had move too fast to be seen earlier, perhaps her movement can be seen more clearly now that they're focusing on Ace instead of killing each other. Cipher | 458 words. Total Word Count: 5603.

Ace cocked her head to the side, a mannerism that could be attributed to Cipher. Interesting. She thought to herself, solidifying the grip she held on the hilt of her sword while eyeballing the opposition. They think they stand a chance. While they were less than perturbed about the death of their demonic brethren, she exhibited no signs of discomfort regarding their vast numbers. There may have been a significant number of ants trying to bite her ankles, but at the end of the day, they were just ants. Their words and jeers were met with eerie laughter. It pervaded the atmosphere around her and contaminated it thickly with her malice. Her power was enough to prevent weaker specimens from breathing, and every few moments, it seemed to skyrocket a little more. This trend was prevalent even though she wasn’t transformed. Moment by moment, her power grew and eclipsed those before her even more. No, it could be said that her prowess always eclipsed them. Now, it threatened to shroud their entire world in her ghastly veil of strength. “Ah—” She began, twirling the blade in her hand. Her laughter came to a stop, but the devilish smile she wore was hardly diluted. “The art of killing flies...”As soon as they rushed her, she sprang into action. While she remained attentive, focused and decisive with her attacks and defenses, there was a serene and composed air about her. It did little to disguise her malice, instead mixing with it to create an eerie concoction of pure, unbridled bloodlust unaffected by any emotions such as fear or doubt. The larger of the band would move towards her with their large weapons and swing liberally. It smashed the ground to bits, chunks of earth bursting like ripe melons and sending debris in every direction like shrapnel. Ace simply avoided, landed on the hammer, and slid her blade across their throat. They stumbled back, grabbing their neck as though trying to push the blood spilling out of it back inside. Another two attacked, but she stepped back and used her reach advantage to sever an arm, before quickly thrusting the oversized sword forward and impaling another. This continued as she continued to weave and dance through strikes and torrents of energy alike, all while stepping in and decisively claiming another head every now and then. Their numbers advantage did have some amount of effect, however, every now and then getting close enough to hit her and singeing a few patches of her clothing, but currently, they failed to draw blood. Maybe the cautious, level-headed demons cowering in the back had more of a chance of putting her on edge. Audrey | 457/6519

As it turned out, brashness and numerical advantage were not enough to overcome the figure before them. Ace had danced like a true flower in battlefield, weaving and swaying through their attacks with only but the least amount of damage and though they had converged on her in every direction they had failed to draw even a single drop of blood. Even worst, her power keep on climbing and where before they had a chance somewhat should they all act together, even that continue to diminish greatly. This woman wasn't just strong...she even had the techniques to back it up. "Don't think you're hot stuff just because you took out some brainless low level mutts, you bitch." one of the other flying demon from the back spat. The battle had been slowly swaying to her clan's favor had this newcomer not just waltz in as if she owned the place. All throughout the fight, she had let her subordinate do her bidding while using support magic as she calmly read the flow of battle. This was no longer an option now as she would have to personally get her hands dirty. Summoning dark energy into her being, her demoness raise one hand as she chanelled dark energy into her palm, uttering a small incantation in preparation. "All of you if you want to stay alive, follow my orders!" the demoness commanded as her aura flared. Currently she was the strongest amongst these demons which means she was one of the very few that had made victory before seems the least bit plausible. Multiple magic circles formed in the air surrounding her back, crackling with sparks. Where numbers and brute strength fail to achieve result, she would just need to resort to tactics. Gravity increased manifold under the being's feet in an attempt to slow down Ace's agility in a concentrated area. Even if Ace could somehow move, the demoness figured that being carpet bombed by energy spheres that would have wiped out a major city on earth in an instant would at least slow her down by quite a bit. Her dark energy was not infinite however, she would need to recharge but that doesn't mean she would let Ace have a moment of respite. "Casters, back me up! The rest of you, pummel her down now! She can't possibly withstand the constant assault!" The rest of the demons abided her immediately, even though they were from different clans earlier. Anything was preferable compared to being reduced to chunks of meat by this mad woman. Those who were physically gifted immediately rushed to pile up on her, using the gravity to increase the strength of the weapon. while the more magically endowed of the demons charged their magical energy to let loose upon her should they be repelled. Such scathing words. However would she be able to live after the mosquito before her pelted her with wanton vitriol? Laughing to herself, Ace swung her excessively large sword to the side and sent blood spatter flying off of its edge to the ground. Subsequently, she stabbed it deep into the ground and leaned on it, deciding to humour the demons and observe whatever it was they intended on doing. Even now, despite how much she wanted to, she did not see a need for transforming. Strategic as the mutts believed themselves to be, their sophisticated style of combat would only get them so far versus impossible odds. There were heaps of bodies surrounding her as she waited for more action. Evidently, she was not in the business of sparing those who opposed her. Bodies were torn asunder and mounds of limbs and heads lay motionless on the ground. The woman looked a little bored, which most likely fostered even more anger in the opposition. If there was a chance of her using her transformation, it wasn’t anytime soon. In order to push her, there needed to be something less of a joke around capable of a transformation of its own. Maybe there was something like that around and they were scoping out her abilities from afar. What an exciting thought! The demon was doing something. Dark energy laced her body before she manifested a surplus of magic circles. A user of arcane arts, eh? Those were usually a little bit annoying; people who chose to bog you down with a bunch of unwanted effects in order to whittle down adversaries they otherwise would stand no chance against. In moments, she felt the effects of the demoness’ ploy and suddenly was reminded of the time on of her halves trained in an excessive amount of increased gravity. Gripping the hilt of the sword tighter, she kept herself standing while continuing to stare playfully at the desperate opponent. The more physically endowed rushed her, only to be met by a solid wave of force. After they were repelled, the casters took the cue to bombard her with enough energy spheres to annihilate North City in an instant. Just before the attacks collided with her, she looked up towards her attackers with an empty expression. A massive explosion ensued, enveloping everything that was stupid enough to get in the way. The blast wave was larger enough that it sucked in air before expelling it outward in dense cyclones of debris, and even then, the creatures continued to throw more attacks until they were exhausted. Debris slowly cleared away, unveiling the result of their contributions. Ace was still standing there. There was some kind of translucent barrier around her that receded into her body as needed. Everything but the segment of ground she stood on was obliterated, causing her to be surrounded by a crater that went miles deep. More importantly, there appeared to be something in each of her hands for the more observant to notice… Hovering over each hand was an orb; one of them was comprised of dark energy and the other took on a shade of orange. They spun at such a velocity that blades of wind formed around them like miniature cyclones. The duo of spheres emitted a sound akin to a buzzsaw as she continued to charge the attack, her lips spread into a psychotic smile. The amount of energy pooled into those two spheres was enough to make even the stronger demons feel nauseous. This attack belonged to a friend of theirs... “Hey, catch.”One after the other she flung the two orbs towards the temporary commander. If they connected with anything, they would be shredded and ground into the finest hamburger in the galaxy. To top it off, they would explode with enough power to level a solar system, condensed into an explosion the size of a hydrogen bomb. Audrey | 653/7172

The demoness stared agape at what had just transpired. She could hardly believe her eyes, as Ace had just repelled her (while temporary) fellow comrades as easily as a human would bat a fly. She wasn't aware of this...normally someone this strong would have gain their fame around the realm in an instant and they would have flee from the area as soon as they sensed their presence. Even more perplexing than that, Ace just took hundreds of those explosive energy spheres head on without so much as batting an eye. The combined explosion of them all would have been enough to wipe out a whole country....possibly quite a chunk of the continent too. The only reason they weren't enveloped within the radius of the blast was because of their precise energy control to limit the damage only around the area with focused gravity. How foolish. In hindsight, the demoness probably should have escape while Ace was distracted by her subordinates. Tempted by greed, the demoness would have won the loyalty of demons from the other clans in an instant should she have brought them to a resounding victory here. It would be her chance to raise up the ladder ranks, gain more powerful subordinates along the way and perhaps one day rule the demon realm herself should she feel ambitious still. However, such dreams was short-lived. Exhausted, she couldn't even conjure magic in her defense to block or move herself out of harm's way. Time seem to have slowed down in her eyes as she watch the energy sphere rushing towards her. A word was uttered from her lips but that was immediately drowned by the huge explosion that envelop not just her but all the demons within the area. Neither their physical endurance nor the their paltry magical defenses stood a chance in the face of such raw power. When the explosion finally subsided, only debris and perhaps charred remain of weapons left behind. Of course such display of power did not go unnoticed within the realm. The demons who were nearby the area certainly felt it, with the weaker ones taking refuge immediately so as not to get caught within what was about to transpire. The stronger ones certainly had their curiosity piqued though none of them chose to approach Ace. Only one of them did and they had been observing everything through the use of arcane magic. "Interesting. Perhaps this day won't be as boring after all."Now, the question here would be to ponder the best way to invite the person to their abode. They could always use a capable subordinate to serve them, as it would make the goal of obtaining the fruit much easier. Cipher | 450 words. Total Words: 6515.

Ah, smell that? Ace inhaled slowly, letting the aroma filter through her nose while she closed her eyes. That smell wafting through the air—reminiscent of burnt meat and soot—was the sweet smell of carnage. All of the fools who dared get in her way were timely decimated until not even a single weapon remained. Where there were once hundreds of paltry demons before her, there was now nothing but expansive craters burrowing miles deep into the ground. Dust continued to scatter throughout the environment, the only true remains of what once was umpteen living beings. The woman was no fool, however. None of them carried the mark of the clan she was aligned with because her heterochromatic eyes were keen enough to observe every minute detail of the creatures she felled. Half of her was Audrey, and that part of her did not intend on betraying them. The part of her that was Cipher did not contrast that; she would not betray someone who was useful to her. In turn, the motherly figure she adopted in Anzu would receive mercy from Ace at least until whatever usefulness she retained expired. Fortunately, there were a plethora of strong foes in the Demon Realm to keep her entertained… Curling her tail around her waist, which much akin to her hair colour was striped black and white, she picked up the sword she embedded into the ground. Tightening her grip around it, she dispersed it into countless glass shards that hovered in the air before slowly fading into non-existence. If she needed her sword again she would simply materialize it once more and cleave into whatever idiot wished to oppose her. Now that she made a fair impression she was positive stronger enemies would come for her. One obvious portion of her fused composition wished to ascend to a level she knew she was capable of, that of a Super Saiyan, but using the legendary transformation of her race against pathetic scum such as the ones she eliminated would be like dirtying it. But before she could contemplate what to do next, she felt as though she were being watched. Taking a look around bore no fruit, thus she decided to float up into the air and cast her attention around, trying to figure out just who or what may have been searching for her. Could it have just been her imagination? Ace intended to find out whether or her suspicion was justified, and started expanding her aura and feeling out for any sources of energy similar to that of the one she just felt for a fleeting moment. Ace's aura acts like feelers, or sensors if she were to used the other half of her the fusion's expression. It was easy to gauge the strength the demons she had sense, the weak ones emanate very little dark energy. She immediately dismissed them, a couple more critters would not be near enough to sate her hunger after the battle earlier now that she had her first bite. It wasn't until she felt a flare of aura which drew her attention to the west that she could sense multiple demons but their power level were of a completely different scale than the ones she had face earlier. Still weaker than hers but one of them alone was enough to match a large number she had face earlier. But what was interesting here was that these creatures were surrounding one whose power dwarves them completely. The only time she did remember fighting someone even remotely similar in power level was Atreus, causing her blood to bubble in excitement. Her tongue licked her lips in anticipation...the crave for stronger opponent was almost like hunger, she could almost physically feel it. Perhaps this being would even be worthy enough to face her transformation. With that in mind, she took off straight towards them to engage. The sight that greeted her eyes was quite interesting to say the least. A castle hovering in the sky, as if giving the middle finger to the rule of physics through a feat made only possible due to the precise control of dark energy. Ace took a moment to inspect the floating castle with a bemused expression, one that Audrey often wore when she stumbled upon something interesting. Ace was not the only being drawn to the target, there were other demons with the capability to fly to approach the castle but they were immediately evaporated by a precise, violet beam which sent them crashing into the ground. There wasn't even any intention to suppress their power indicating that the master of the castle was simply that confident. Upon focusing the source of the beam, Ace will find out there was no one nearby casting it as they could only see a magic circle had formed for a short moment to take down intruders. Trying to surround it from all direction didn't work either, there was no limit to the number of magic circle had formed. The only place one didn't form was through the castle main entrance, though trying to navigate through the barrage of light beam would be quite the fun exercise. Sensing the overbearing presence near her castle, the being inside smirked in anticipation of battle. It was not often that a good chess piece present itself to them, though whether they can convert this being into one of their own is a different story. They contemplated coming out to greet them....but chose not to, they would rather not appear too eager. Should Ace decided to attack the floating castle from distance, she will realize that it was protected by a strong boundary field which surrounded the entire castle. It would not deter one to simply approach it however, assuming that they do somehow make their way through the castle active defense. As if coaxing Ace into approaching the castle, the master of the castle increase their power level slightly above hers, as if to provoke her. They had seen how she was eager for the fight and had chose the most refined way to cast a gauntlet in her direction without revealing themselves. Cipher | 591 words Total words: 7106

A combination of some of the most cunning and observant minds in the galaxy, Ace took her time and watched as the idiotic demons continued to get themselves shot down by the magic circles. It kind of reminded her of when birds would fly to their demise by diving into windows, or when squirrels tried to scale electrical wires only to be fried up to the point where they were edible. As she learned when fighting small fry on backwater planets in the past, idiots would be idiots and their antics could sometimes be lucrative. This time around she learned a few things about the magic protecting the flying castle while she observed. Recklessly jumping into the exercise was neither Audrey nor Cipher’s style, after all. Ace learned everything when she observed the defense system at work. Attack patterns, delays between activation, the potency of the magic attack unleashed, and a bunch of other things integral to avoiding the system. It would be a boon because knowing when and how long the beams would fire would allow her to navigate through the barrage. Before that, she wanted to test out the boundary she sensed around the castle. Nobody tried to blast through it yet, why not be the first to try? As long as she did it from a range, it should be fine. Flicking an orb of white energy towards the barrier, she watched as it exploded violently against it. It rattled the Demon Realm for miles but surprisingly did not put a dent in the boundary the mystery opponent erected. Raising her head in mild acknowledgment, Ace coloured herself impressed by keeping her lips fastened in the familiar amused smile. If the Saiyan-blooded android was incapable of getting by this parlour trick she would never have made it to the point she was at now. With that thought in mind, she suddenly shot forward at a velocity umpteen times faster than a speeding bullet. The display she put on was dazzling to say the least. She wove between rays of darkness being precisely fired towards her, creating a visual resembling a light show as she darted in an unfathomable amount of directions. Faster than both of her components, she flickered between the beams and occasionally clashed a black-outlined white beam of energy against anything that happened to catch her even despite her breakneck speed. It really was fun to Ace. She considered it a great warm up before she landed at the edge of the castle with the decisive clopping of her footwear. Ace turned her heterochromatic eyes towards the largest structure she could find comprising the gargantuan castle. “Cripes, is that any way to greet a guest? For every drop of sweat I was forced to spend, ten gallons of blood shall be spilled in turn.” Audrey | 473/8079

The mysterious being smirked slightly upon watching Ace glided skillfully through the light beam barrage which had scorched the other demons easily as if she could see them moving in slow motion. In truth while Ace possed minor form of dynamic vision it was actually thanks to studying the pattern of the active defense that they had seen in first place. The white orb of energy that had struck against her castle tower was also quite impressive, it had been a while since she had a visitor that could even cause tremor within the castle as the barrier would have absorb most of the energy attack. The more they pondered about it the more they wished to make Ace serve under her. The provoke Ace made towards her only made their heart dance slightly and were it not to maintain poise they would have answered her challenge immediately. They did however, snapped their fingers in return which open the huge oak doors waiting for them by the entrance. Now normally this would be the part where the master of the castle would lay their trap...but they chose not to. Afterall, if they manage to make their way to the entrance unscathed, it would take more than just minor traps to scratch them. Whenever Ace chose to enter they would find themselves in a long hallway, which were barely lit with tiny orbs of light that could have been easily mistaken for firefly were they not staying in one place for the whole time. For the most part, the castle wall was decorated with mostly weapons and painting, the former of which had plaques with name written on them, presumably victory spoils obtained from the previous owner of the weapon. The paintings however was a bit different as most of them have the theme of occult or gruesome horror in nature, the kind of which that would have given those with lesser spirit nightmares. Ace would note that none of the painting show any indication to the mysterious owner of the castle, as all of them were quite different from each other. They would also note that there were eyes on them should they make their way through the hallway, watching with malice but not daring to approach as if they were bind by some sort of command not to. Not that Ace would care too much about these, their power level were barely higher compared to the ones she faced earlier. No, she was much more interested in the beings that lay further within the castle, whose dark energy they emanate make these silent guardians that observe them through the shadow a mere trifle. At the end of the hallway, another door barred their path made from unearthly material with the sturdiness that can match Katchin Alloy. Close inspection revealed that they were also reinforced with dark energy, which explained their robustness. Not as tough as the barrier that had stop their energy wave completely earlier but still require an effort to break through. Behind these door, Ace would sense the being she had felt earlier. Three of them to be exact and they made no motion to come out to greet her, content with staying behind the close door. They were the lieutenants of the master of this castle, assigned to provide the newcomer with combat trial to measure their worthiness. Not that they really need any further proof, they had intended to study Ace a bit further to ascertain her goal and motive. Should a few of their lieutenant need to be sacrificed to achieve this goal, it would be a fair compensation to getting a brand new pawn that surpass them all. Cipher| 616 words. At least they were punctual. After Ace saw the oak doors swing open, she felt a little disappointed. It would have been fun to kick the doors open by way of energy blast and wreck the flamboyant abode even more. Instead of doing that, she walked inside of the castle after she was robbed of the need of breaking into it. It occurred to her that whoever was in the building had an interest in her beyond annihilating her. If they didn’t, they could have sprung traps or came out to greet them with a preemptive onslaught. Instead, they chose to invite her inside. There could have been traps, but Ace was not worried about that. If they did have some kind of interest in her, Ace was at a loss for how she would deal with that notion. As an entirely new being, it did technically mean she was single. However, the people comprising her were a thing and that made her more than a little bit narcissistic. The ability to even conjure thoughts like those illustrated how frivolous and unconcerned she was with anything the Demon Realm could pose her with. One of the people making her up literally killed a pair of demonic god-like entities; what exactly did Ace have to worry about? She might as well have some modicum of fun with this. Her heterochromatic eyes took note of the long corridor she was in after entering. It was a good thing she could sense because the scarce lighting would have inhibited her vision. She wondered what kind of individual lit their castle with strange firefly-like orbs, anyway. Demons, she supposed, but it was still an odd choice that she could not discern the exact purpose of other than aesthetics and possibly the ability to see in the dark. Weapons labelled with plaques and horror-themed paintings were the decor of choice for the ghastly castle. That was something she did not mind and one part of her even enjoyed. One of Cipher’s known interests was demons, the occult, and horror, and some of that spilled over into Ace’s mind. In turn, maybe whoever was waiting for her could be more interesting than she thought. The weapons called out to her Saiyan-side, especially for someone comprised of two individuals who wielded weapons. As mentioned, Ace noted the paintings did not show off the owner of the castle. Additionally, they picked up on the eyes watching them as they progressed through the hall. They ended up arriving at the end of the hallway in search of stronger opponents. A wave of nostalgia hit her thanks to Cipher’s experiences. Three strong opponents of demonic heritage. That sounded very familiar. Bloodlust immediately wafted off of her like plumes from a smokestack. As tough as the door might be, it wasn’t going to pose a challenge when she was excited. Well, you know what one of the all-time greats said: Kick in the door, waving the four-four.Ace lifted her foot and slammed it against the door as hard as she could. As dense and impregnable as it seemed to be, it still ended up flying off of its hinges and slamming loudly against the opposite end of the room. As one would expect, the door frame exploded while the Katchin door was severely dented. Following that gesture, she smiled widely and took note of anyone in the room. “Ah, the welcoming committee.” Audrey | 578/8657

Ahh, the satisfaction of kicking down a door. Is there any better way to declare one's entrance? Perhaps blasting it down with energy blast may come quite close but Ace had always been more physical when it comes to these things. Like cracking knuckles or pumping the shotgun, such actions always promised a brutal ass kicking. And what stood in front of them were three demons, looking at the intruder with an expression of varying degree of amusement. Starting from the left, was an obese demon with a hefy weight who was looking at the newcomer whose expression which reminded Ace of a gluttonous man upon the sight of food. From the saliva dripping down it's chin, it was clearly entertaining the thought of breaking her body down before devouring her. In fact, the creature thought it was a pity that the intruder's size was a bit small she'd probably go down the hatch with one or two bites at most. With powerful arms, they promised that whichever creature caught in it's grasp would not have an easy time escaping their grip. Now to the right of them, was a demonic spider that would haunt the arachnophonics in their nightmares. Easily hundred times the size of the earth tarantula, the only difference being it possess the head of a lion as well as sickle-shaped claws at the end of it's legs. The sickle claws was dripping with acidic venom which upon dripping the floor let out a hissing sound. No doubt, it possess very potent poison which would cause harmful effects should they be inflicted upon the Saiyan body. It also seems rather antsy and probably would have attack Ace the moment she show up but something to have hold it back. Finally, the fiend in the center which was enshrouded with hellfire. While as massive as the obese demon, the difference being it's body was ripped with bulging muscles and shrouded with burning hellfire which didn't seem to affect it the slightest. Possessing what appeared to be gauntlet made of molten lava, the creature s It's overbearing presence as well as being in the middle of the other two tell Cipher that this fiend was their leader of sorts. While each of them were weaker compared to Ace individually, the three of them are easily a third of their strength, though the middle fiend would be closer to a half. And it was said fiend who address Ace first. "Your kind is not welcome here Saiyan. Surrender and die." Did Ace's ears deceive herself? No it's usually surrender or die right? What kind of offer is surrender and die? The grin on the fiend's face despite the difference in their power level almost reminded the part of Ace who was Audrey that had fought against those with towering power level and pull through time and time again. "Or struggle and die. Our queen need not see your face." Well that simplifies things. For them to bar Ace's path here, this would mean their Queen would be just beyond this huge hall they find themselves in. She only just had to pummel them into pulp. However none of the creature moved yet, as if waiting for her response. Should she choose to attack, they would charge in an instant to unleash fire and brimstone on her. Taking a moment to study their surroundings revealed that they are most likely in the great hall of the floating castle. She could see some misshapen skulls lying around as well as blood splatters and bones. They would also notice some damage on them, looking like they were inflicted by blade like weapon or burnt with a flamethrower. Cipher| 619 words Total words: 8341

“A queen...?”The woman’s heterochromatic eyes looked at each of the demons within the vicinity. Slowly and deliberately, she eyeballed the fiendish spider, the obese monstrosity and finally the protein shake junkie whose patronizing words and presence established him as the leader. Loud laughter shook her frame as she tilted her head up, even leaning against the door frame in order to get her bearings from the nonsensical hilarity the archfiend before her just spouted. Her tail swayed behind her as she focused her attention on them once again, insanity filling her eyes as her lips spread into a wide grin. And then, her expression sobered. The scene became quiet enough that you could hear a pin drop. It was the first time Ace dropped her frivolous attitude. The murderous intent wafting through the air was thick enough to make even the most hardened of stomachs wretch their guts out. Her power rapidly started to rise and the differences in power were becoming more and more drastic with every passing moment. Parting her lips, she made a firm statement in a mocking tone inherent to the Saiyan hybrid. “WHAT IS A QUEEN TO A GOD?”Ace clenched her hands into fists and held them at her sides, screaming her bold statement with fervour as titanic winds ripped through the room. These torrents were stronger than even the storm on Jupiter by several fold, ripping the castle apart from the inside out. Architecture, paintings, decorative paintings skulls and support pillars exploded into debris, pushing every inhabitant in the room back from the force alone. Green-tinted gold energy became to whirl around in the air, slicing the environment apart and even challenging the integrity of the barrier that surrounded the castle. Emerald energy, similar to Cipher’s in the past in her moments of intense anger, surrounded Ace in an orb, expanding and disintegrating every inanimate object in sight indiscriminately. A galactic threat to multiple solar systems at once, the power shredded the realm to tethers for miles on end, even despite the castle being in the air. The explosion condensed around her form, manifesting as a pillar that blasted through the ceiling of the room—or what remained of it. This pillar of concentrated power surrounded Ace as she arose in her new form, eyes gleaming red, her once black and white hair a vivid gold with subtle traces of green. As the aura diminished, her rough mane of gold hair was revealed along with her green eyes. Her musculature was more prominent, but tamed due to the more subtle nature of Audrey’s transformation. Before anyone could do anything or respond, she shot forward at a speed beyond the speed of light, simply incalculable. She didn’t bother with the small fry, she went straight for the leader. The style she adopted was destruction incarnate as she threw her fist forward as hard as she could, smashing the demon through the wall behind them. Wherever that would take them, be it the throne room or otherwise, she did not care. In that moment, the Super Saiyan embodied the sin of wrath in its purest form. After the punch, she would swing with her other hand, grabbing him by the face and smashing him into the floor with enough force to cave it in. Stepping onto his chest, she maintained her grip while her sharp eyes glared down upon him. In front of the ‘queen’, in front of his fellow lieutenants, Ace would show them all just who she was, who they were all dealing with as her power level shot well over a million. In one brutal motion, she ripped his head off of his body and hurled it at whoever else was in the room, charging it with energy and detonating it in an explosion with enough force to distort space and time itself. Laughter reverberated throughout the castle. She didn’t even face the other lieutenants behind her. “Spider. Pigface. I’m not as generous as your leader. You have a single option: struggle and die. Don’t keep me waiting, insects...” Audrey | 678/9335

In a single instant. One moment they were eying this arrogant creature who suddenly proclaimed godhood on their doorstep no less and the next moment their leader was down with his head pulled off from his body. Incomprehensible. How could this... thing possess such a huge amount of power. Just her sheer declaration alone have all but demolish the building's decoration. Intimidated they were to her power, their Queen would not have forgiven them if they do try to surrender. A fate far worse than even death would await and Ace's word of struggling before dying was enough to inspire them to action. The first to make the assault was the humongous spider, which immediately spit out webbing so as to attempt to immobilizer her. On earth, the spider's web alone possess the tensile strength of five times than steel. This demonic spider's web however was enough to rival the metal Katchin. In seconds the Saiyan was quickly entangled which would then give the pigface demon time to attack. The pigheaded demon let out a bellowing roar before leaping up into sky and descended on the Saiyan with the weight of a mountain. It's intent was to crush her underneath it's weight like stomping a juicy ripe berry under one's feet. Ace looked at the descending pig with slight amusement before she decided to make her move. Simply by dispersing her aura, the web which entangled around her broke and disintegrated into dust. Not only that, the sheer wind alone was enough to slow down the gigantic weight that Ace would adjust her sword grip before slicing it up immediately into ribbons. Blood gushed forth from where she cut down towards her as the chunky meat and bone fall apart all around them. Yet the Saiyan android hybrid didn't move, letting the blood bath her thoroughly as she relished the taste. Surprisingly, drinking them slightly was enough to increase her power even further though it was still quite a minute amount. Relishing the taste and the power that come with it, Ace then immediately turned towards the remaining spider demon in question. It let out a high pitch scream contrary to it's lion like appearance and intended to escape, only for it's path to be blocked by Ace. In desperation, it spun and unleashed a chain attack of sickle claw to which Ace easily parry and deflect with it's blade. By the time it's attack was over, Ace was barely scratched while the spider's sickles all fell down to the floor. The demon realized this a moment too late before it tried to leap back to make distance between them. Away, towards the door from which Cipher entered as that was the closest. However even before it could escape the great hall, it's body fell apart into pieces as space itself was cut. "My my, that lasted quite shorter than I would have thought in first place." a female voice can be heard within their surrounding, one that despite watching how her Lieutenant was killed betray not anguish or rage but one of amusement. Ace's eyes scanned her surrounding before stopping just next to her, as space itself had warped to reveal the entity to which the castle belong to. "Pleased to meet you. My name is Kyouka and I am the host of this castle." A small smirked form on her lips as she inspected the Saiyan android hybrid in front of her. Perhaps it was just her feeling but something about this being felt...familiar. Yet for the life of her she couldn't quite figure out what made her feel so. Deja vu was not a familiar feeling for the demon, if she felt something familiar it usually attributes to a meeting of sort. Meanwhile, Ace would also feel the same familiarity within her. At least the Audrey part of her did, while fighting under Anzu's flag. This demon was easily as strong as Atreus...and that was in her base form alone. Compare to other demons, she was ironically much shorter and more similar to humanoid height. Certain features of her reminded Ace of birds on earth, especially her hands which take the form of talon as well as her feet. Draped in a jacket with flaring sleeves which would partially cover said hands, but did little to hide the curvaceous and hourglass figure underneath. Her head was adorned with an intricate helmet which covered her face completely save for her eyes and her mouth. Two long wing-like ears extend out of said helmet which also happened to possess a gem with unimaginable power, much like the power core within Audrey's chest. Cipher | 775 words. Ace listened to the female voice speak, turning her attention towards the source. While she acknowledged her, she ran her tongue over her lips to collect a rivulet of demon blood still dripping down her face. She listened to the woman speak. The fusion learned about her ownership over the castle they resided within. Judging from the strength of this individual, she could have come to the conclusion by herself. In turn, she chalked it up to formality. Right off the bat, she could tell that this demon was a cut above the rest. Not only in just her impressive power that rivaled their other comrade in raw output, but even the way she carried herself. She did not need to be imposing visually. The demoness had no need for taunts or jibes. With the amount of power she flaunted, there wasn’t a point. People would kneel or die—and that made her similar to Ace. Indeed, there was something familiar about her. It could have been that this woman fought underneath the same banner as one of her components. Ace’s lips crept into a smile while she turned to face the demon fully. Even though she was a Super Saiyan, even though her power encompassed the area for miles on end with unfathomable pressure, even though her aura was as insidious, some of the malice dwindled in favour of intrigue. It was as though she found Kyouka interesting. While the other demons were just fodder to be executed indiscriminately, the woman before her was a true demon warrior. One of the many reasons her Cipher half adored their race. Tilting her head to the side, she decided to act on that feeling. “Well, well. I knew there had to be a beautiful demoness somewhere around here. Finally found one.” The green-tinted golden aura around her diminished while she took a step forward. Even still, her eyes remained an acute green and her hair stayed gold and untidy. She soaked in her figure and then giggled under her breath. Now, what would happen? “Strong, too. You’re clearly a true warrior.” Audrey | 350/9685

Curious. The Saiyan did not engage her immediately despite radiating bloodlust and power that can be felt for miles. It appeared that the protective charm she had cast earlier would not see it's uses, at least not for now. She began to study her choice of attire, comparing them to the Saiyan she previously met. There was something...off about her. From what she remembered, pure blooded Saiyan tend to have dark coloured hair. Mixed blood perhaps? "Why thank you. You are not quite a bad looker yourself. It's quite a rare sight to see someone with beauty, brain and brawn in this realm." While it may sounded like flattery at first but this demoness was not the type to appeal to one's ego. If something was ugly, weak or imbecilic she would state them clearly and dare anyone who challenge her otherwise. And after the trials she had given and appreciating with her own eyes, she see that Ace lacked none. "Warrior hm? I suppose I am though I cannot say for certain I match what you defined as a true warrior." A fighter she may be, compared to the Saiyan race the demons are moreso practitioners of dark magic rather than ki users, so their approach to combat would perhaps be slightly different. It has been a while since she chatted with one, for all she know they may have a very low opinion on magic that her kind wields. "You must be quite famished from all that workout. Would you like to sit down and have something to eat?" The demoness traced her finger in the air and soon the furnitures that were sent flying during the combat were back to it's usual place as if time was rewinded, with the ease that it almost as if this was somewhat a common occurence. "I believe we have much to talk about."the demoness said as she turned her head slightly towards the Saiyan's direction as soon as she finished fixing up the place to make the great hall more presentable. Ace listened to the woman compliment her. The smile on her face grew into a wide crescent. She responded well to people praising her greatness because of her exaggerated Saiyan pride and provided those who dispensed the praise with her graces. Additionally, she recognized the authenticity in her voice. Judging from her demeanour, she doubted this was a woman who praised others easily. She practically oozed power from every pore, and Ace doubted that anyone under her would receive any acknowledgment if they didn’t perform to the utmost degree. After regarding her as beautiful, smart, and powerful, she felt the tension in the air shift to a different kind. As she expressed uncertainty about her status as a warrior, Ace watched her with heterochromatic eyes. The smile on her face subsided while she tilted her head to the side. She replaced her previous expression with confusion. The woman’s choice of words piqued her interest. With such strength, she didn’t know why she refrained from calling herself a true warrior. Perhaps she regarded herself as less of a frontline combatant and more of a leader. Normally Ace—or the Cipher half of Ace—disdained those who called shots without any martial prowess to back it up, but this woman was more than capable. She earned her position. Smiling from ear-to-ear at the proposition of food, she watched the displaced furniture return to their positions. She inherited the Saiyan’s notorious appetite and powered down the moment Kyouka proposed eating. Dining with the enemy tended to be ill-advised, but she didn’t consider the demoness an enemy. Her hair and eyes returned to normal as she abandoned her transformation. She got the feeling that this wasn’t the first time this individual had to tidy things up in the great hall. Her striped tail unwound from her waist and swayed behind her while she proceeded towards any furnishing within the premises she could take a seat at and wait for dinner. “This is one way to ask a girl to dinner, dear. I like it. I am absolutely starving—I accept,” She paused for a moment as she drummed her fingertip against the table while resting her chin in her palm. “And I would love to talk.” In a way, she was a lot like a demon due to her exaggerated Saiyan nature. Her mind immediately revolved around what she could obtain after this rendezvous, be it power, pleasure, or entertainment. Audrey | 406/10,091
