Should one explore the inside of Audrey's private cruiser and compare them to the outside world, the word health spa or fitness center come to mind. The android had spend a fortune to ensure that it was properly equipped with facilities to help the Saiyan's growth. There was the main workout room with cutting edge exercise machines, a separate chamber with artificial gravity which she dubbed as Gravity Room for an intense workout session on top of medical facility to help repair those sore muscles....to name a few. However right now the android wasn't in any of those facilities, she was in a personal vault that can only be accessed by her teleportation technique. Various treasures decorated it's walls, from exotic alien weaponry to mystical accessories from distant realm. Amongst all these jewels collected in her personal vault however, a certain earring came into her attention. The potara's earring...Glowy had entrusted such items into her hand and having heard the story behind them, Audrey believed that it was what's needed to lift up Cipher's spirit. The only hesitation that came into mind was whether or not it would work still with an android..but it was not like there was any other person she was willing to try it with first. After debating between the pros and cons behind them, she put one of them on her left ear before slipping the other one in her coat pocket. Once that was done, the android began to scan for her girlfriend's energy signature before she locked in on the source. Audrey then channeled the energy around her body as she focused hard on Cipher's presence before she vanished, leaving the vault empty once more. Cipher | 285 words.

Audrey would find her in the gravity room. “Initiate gravity simulation: One-hundred fifty times planet’s normal gravity. Warning, simulation exceeds human tolerance levels.” Stepping into the isolated chamber would result in an immense gravitational pull to the exact specifications of the robotic voice emanating from the sophisticated control system. The very atmosphere of the training facility seemed to be perpetually dyed blood red. Somehow, everything within the specialized room boasted an impregnable durability resilient enough to withstand the gruelling effects placed on every living organism and inanimate object within. From the pristine tiled floor to the various advanced robotic dummies standing in an offensive formation within the room. A savvy configuration panel sat still within the center of the room. An alabaster pillar easily stretching towards the top of the room. There was a black plane in the middle of it with digital numbers glowing in place; the numbers ‘150’ were maintained for a moment before it escalated in increments of ten every two minutes that went by. The vehement saiyan could be found standing within the midst of a bunch of robust training droids meant to engage her in physical combat. Her golden eyes quickly darted back and forth from each potential “combatant” within the room, looking for whichever intended to boldly attack her first. Well, first was subjective. She had been at this for hours like a mad woman. Cipher would literally break her body down into gory fragments if it meant coming back stronger. The first smell thickly wafting through the air was the saline scent of sweat and the coppery aroma of blood. Her toned form mostly obscured by artificial adversaries, proof of her wrathful existence was limited to the sounds of her laboured breathing as she planned her next move. A few of the robotics around her were already smashed into the floor and letting off periodic bursts of golden sparks as evidence of their demise at her hand. She callously treated them as though they were real enemies and not just training dummies. Her malicious ki permeated the atmosphere and loudly exhibited her anger and bloodlust. Murderous intent through and through, like the insidious venom of a serpent. The stalemate coming to a sudden end, one of the droids lunged towards her. It attempted to swiftly shoot for a double-leg takedown, but despite the weight asserted onto her from both the increased gravity and her weighted clothing, she managed to sprawl and catch it. Her boots squeaked against the smooth ground as she skidded rearwards, nearly lowering to her knees. Clenching her teeth together, Cipher pushed herself back up and hoisted the droid into the air, every butchered muscle in her body screaming for her to stop, before slamming it back down against the floor in a earth-quaking powerbomb. The lights denoting its “eyes” dimmed, and she pushed herself back up. Only to be forced into avoiding the advances of several other training droids. They all attempted to grab her, and she managed to avoid each, until one of them happened to grab her and press her against the wall. She grunted, but her eyes flashed crimson in rage as she held it in her arms and snap suplexed it into one of its artificial allies with a metallic crash. Assessing the damage, she was positive her ribs were bruised. “More...” She croaked, her voice shaky and laden with anger. Audrey | 567/567 words

Audrey materialized just outside of the gravity room, tracing her lover's energy signature had lead her here. Not wanting to interrupt her training, she leaned near the entrance and instead tapped into the cameras to watch her lover. While the news she was about to bring her was just an important, she was also curious to see the result of her training. The first thing Audrey noted was the high settings of gravity...it's fifty times more than she would have recommended for her power level. On top of that the Saiyan wasn't just doing some light training, she added combat with multiple drones while she's at it. The android watched as the droids get beaten up, smashed and crushed...it appeared like she had to spend a couple of all-nighters to fix them up. It was only when she looked at the timer that Audrey frowned as she realized that girl had been at this for hours. Though she wanted to see Cipher to grow strong more than anything in the world, she also knew that this was not the right away. Audrey took a moment to brace herself before she turned the gravity setting back to normal as she step inside the gravity chamber. "No babe....you've done enough for today."Audrey answered to her request for more challengers and while her tone was soft, her eyes looked firm as she was not going to budge from her position. If Cipher would be pissed or angry at her, she would accept such rage...as it was much more preferable than seeing the Saiyan get hurt and crippled for the rest of her life. "Besides...I have something important to tell you. And it can't wait." As she said this, the android flashed a soft smile towards her, hoping that would potentially defuse her of her anger. As soon as she felt the drastic change in gravity alleviated, the raven-haired woman dropped to her knees. The way she sucked air into her deprived lungs was reminiscent of someone who just recovered from drowning. Every breath she took shook her frame while droplets of sweat slipped off of her dark locks of hair and forehead. She felt the tiled ground against her palms as she supported herself with arms that, in that moment, practically had the constitution of jelly. Everything hit her all at once; the toll of adrenaline, the massive build-up of lactic acid in her muscles, the pain of her deep bruising and her exhaustion. She hardly had time for anger over the current demands of her body robbing her of taking any other action other than bringing in more oxygen. ”Fuck...”When Audrey spoke, her words took a moment to register in her head. Even with the increased gravity disabled, she felt as though she were at least one hundred pounds heavier. It was as if her body was filled with lead. Turning her head to face the android, she continued to take laboured breaths. The idea of getting up had not occurred to her yet. At first, there was a certain amount of anger in her eyes. Every aspect about her, from her body language to her words before, indicated she wanted to continue on even if it meant grinding her muscles into hamburger. If it had not been Audrey who turned the machine off, she may have been filled with unquenchable anger. Instead, she could only damn her own stupidity. When she heard what the woman had to say, she raised her brow. Cipher lacked the energy for a more significant response. Slowly, she pushed herself back up. With her lack of balance and vitality, they floor might as well have been comprised of ice as she struggled to get up. In true saiyan fashion, however, she did. Climbing back to her feet without the aid of a crutch, she panted. Whatever anger she felt seemed to be dissuaded as she offered the weakest smile ever in response to her. With a great deal of effort, she managed to gradually limp in her direction. ”What... would you like to tell me, love?” Audrey | 380/947 words

Audrey watched with pain expression as Cipher fell to the ground suddenly like a marionette whose string had been cut. Fortunately she didn't hit her head when she crumpled to the floor, lest the android would have immediately help picked her back up regardless of her complaints. Anger. Audrey watched as Cipher appeared to be overcome with rage and though she kept her manager's face on, her heart wavered slightly. If Cipher did somehow fly towards her in rage that would have meant she would need to suppress her somehow. She just hoped the little grappling lessons she picked up from her lover would be up for the task. However the Saiyan's anger ebbed away from her as opposed to reaching a boiling which made the android exhaled in relief. The weak smile she showed towards her was an indicative that whatever had possessed her earlier had vanished, like a mirage conjured by the heat of the desert. As Cipher walked towards her, the android decided to meet her halfway as she carried her arm over her shoulder. Predicting the Saiyan's pride would prevent her from accepting such aid, she instead attempt to silence such resistance immediately. "No, you're not going to walk on your own. Refuse and I'll princess carry you to the medical facility myself." The threat, if it can even be called that, was not a hollow one. In fact, Audrey felt she was being generous enough to even let Cipher limp as much as she did already. Her face turned towards her slightly, as she flashed a smile of her own. "I found it. A way that will help you access your transformation." Audrey declared upon hearing Cipher's inquiry. Ever since her girlfriend had made it her goal to reach that state, the android made it her own as well. Granted, this method of hers would not help Cipher access it directly she had hope that it would be enough of an inspiration to continue forging the path ahead of them. As Audrey met her halfway, Cipher hoped that she could avoid the inevitable. She knew that there was no way Audrey was going to let her walk by herself after the physical trauma she sustained, but it didn’t make her feel any less mixed about it. In her current state, she couldn’t offer up much resistance when she ended up receiving aid towards walking with her arm over her shoulder. Cipher was just too tired, both mentally and physically. It was evidenced in her expression and body language. Even though her pride disagreed with her, she looked both fatigued in expression—or lack there of—and slack in her limbs. Even limping took a tremendous amount of strength, but she mustered her mettle and continued on without complaint because if she did her pride would take an even bigger hit. When she heard Audrey threaten carrying her like a princess, her brow creased. Half of her hated the notion of that, but another half of her that she would never admit to enjoyed the thought of it. Though she preferred it to be the other way around, being coddled and carried in such a way wasn’t the most heinous thing she could think of by far. At the same time, it would be a significant blow to her pride if she accepted such a thing. As usual, her Earthling half was at odds with her Saiyan half. After her expression was disturbed at first, she renewed the weak smile from before and turned her head to face Audrey, who had been flashing her a smile of her own at the time. “Alright, alright...” She breathed out her response in resignation. To demonstrate how tired she was from hours of intense training, even her tail failed to fashion itself like it usually did. Whilst normally it was pointing up, wrapped around her waist, or expressing her mood in some way, instead it practically dragged against the floor behind her, incapable of mustering the strength to stay upright. Even though she was dead tired, could use a drink of water and a bed, she instead was much more eager in hearing about whatever it was Audrey wanted to tell her. When she heard Audrey’s words about what she found, her composure crumbled. Signs of fatigue were still present in her face, but when she turned her head to face her, she sported a pair of wide, golden eyes fixed firmly onto her. The look she gave was comprised of such a concoction of emotions that it was difficult to read; confusion was the most prevalent, followed by a degree of excitement. After all, she had been fighting tooth and nail to achieve the state for a very long time. Ever since she engaged in combat with Ipomea she wanted to achieve that form. No matter how hard she pushed herself, it seemed to elude her. But there Audrey was telling her that she found a way to have her access that transformation. Dropping the knowledge on her at once caught her off-guard, and she was speechless for a few long moments. Cipher parted her lips, and after a moment, finally spoke, her voice shaky. “W-What? Well that certainly caught the Saiyan's attention. Had she known the woman's reaction to the news beforehand, that would have make a better incentive for her to behave compare to her princess carry threat. Well it was too late for that now and she did enjoy watching the Saiyan's reaction to potentially being carry to the medical bay like a princess. "Before you get too excited, let's bring you to the med bay first." the android replied, wanting to keep her interest as long as possible. The medical bay of the cruiser was one of the cruiser's original facility which had seen many kind of characters. Most of them were gym attendants, usually when they went overboard with sparring or their exercise but every now and then it would be when she pulled off people she rescued from battlefield. Thus the medical bay was equipped with the a lot of advance future medical technology from nurse drones which can monitor patient vital signs and adminster the correct medical treatments, regenerative serums that has the properties of the legendary senzu bean to cloning device that would allow one to construct new limbs entirely in the case of amputation. It wasn't until she had set down the seat and directed the nurse drones to work on the Saiyan that she continued her revelation earlier. "The method I speak of was... by fusion. With the help of an artifact I received from Glowy, the two of us will merge together into one being. This would create a singular being of vastly superior capability...even more so than the both of us working together. You probably have heard about Namekian assimilation technique, well this would be quite similar to that." Audrey elaborate, her eyes glancing slightly to the screen which would explain the Saiyan vital sign. A small frown could be seen on her face before she turned towards her and continue. "Unlike the Namekian assimilation however, the fusion form would be temporary. We would cease to be one should our energy run out or that we consensually exit the form. The idea behind this fusion was that, hopefully when we transform in this form together it will help you get a glimpse of what's necessary to reach the Saiyan's transformation." the android concluded before flashing her trademark smile. Obviously, it was hard for Cipher to sit tight and wait when the good news was dropped on her abruptly. Having sought this transformation for the better part of a year, she eager to hear the new means of achieving it Audrey alluded to. Alas, she knew the woman wouldn’t have it any other way. Besides, as much as she wanted to hear about it as soon as possible, her body disagreed with her. If she didn’t get medical attention soon, it may get difficult to stay cognizant of her surroundings and miss the explanation entirely. Thus, reluctantly, she decided to go along with it and make her way to the medical bay alongside Audrey. Her reluctance was nothing new. Most members of her race didn’t care much about pain, but welcomed it; Cipher was no exception. Cipher’s eyes scanned the vicinity. While it hadn’t been the first time she ventured into the medical bay, the number of technological acquisitions within it never ceased to amaze her. She enjoyed it because it meant she could train as much as she wanted and not have to worry much about the consequences that normally came with overexerting herself. Exhaling, she took a seat near Audrey. The nurse drones were quick to get to work on her, their predominant focus being her injured ribs. Normally not much could be done for breaks, but with the help of regenerative serums and other remedial extracts, she would be back to one-hundred percent in no time. Well, at least she thought it would put her back in training shape immediately. Unfortunately, it would probably take a short rest aided by the facility in order to replenish her energy fully. Before her thoughts could digress anymore, Audrey began speaking on the subject of something that she did not expect to ever hear from her lips: Fusion. The raven-haired woman’s eyes widened the moment she heard the word. While she listened to the explanation, her initial look of shock dissipated, replaced with a sober look devoting the entirety of her focus towards the android. An artifact received from their ally, Caffey, that would fuse them together in a manner not unlike Namekian fusion, resulting in the temporary creation of a superior being. With their combined power, they would easily meet the requirement required for the legendary transformation, but it would only be ephemeral and not for keeps. That part she would still have to achieve on her own, but this would give her a potent taste of it, and help her interpret the mechanism behind the transformation. For a moment, Cipher was speechless. A lot of different emotions, some conflicting and others synergizing, swam through her mind. Super Saiyan was something she wanted to achieve herself individually, but this would help her understand it better; it wasn’t like it was permanently handing her the transformation without having to earn it. Such a thing would have butt heads with her Saiyan Pride. A small grin spread across her lips. Who else would she want to become a singular entity with other than Audrey? “Damn right. It’ll give me a taste of the fun, but not spoil it completely. If it was just an item that gave me the form without having to earn it, you and I both know I wouldn’t have any of it.” She said. This, however, was so surreal and different in every way, shape, and form that it just could not be compared. Audrey | 578/2059

Audrey noted every bit of Saiyan's reaction from shock to a sobering one as she regale the fusion technique behind them. The Saiyan had taken the news rather well much to her delight even though it didn't mean she would access the transformation directly...then again as Cipher mentioned earlier, she despise such crutches. Yes, the fusion technique would work perfectly for them both. Of course, before proposing such technique to Cipher she had done due research behind them. One of them in particular had involved some sort of silly dance in which the android felt weird in performing them. If it was the sake for life and death, she would have done it without a second thought but by the gods such dance technique would embarass her. So she had seek for a better way to do so without looking like a buffoon in the process. "Good~ Now the important part of the fusion technique would be to synchronize with each other. Our heart, our mind and our wavelength must be similar." Turning to the side, the android tucked her silver hair behind one of her ear as she revealed one of the potara earring on her ear. "This earring would help us reach the state of full synchro. There's a pair, each to be worn on opposite ears. After that, we just had to "seal the deal" before we can finally merge into one." Audrey then took another out of her own pocket before passing it to her. She paused as one of the nurse droid moved towards Cipher to adminster the regenerative serum after running the preliminary diagnosis. While it would restore her vitality, the energy taken to recover her body still came from her own body. The android doubted they could maintain their fusion form for every long. "When would you like to try the fusion? Normally I would agree to do it even now but..." the android looked pointedly where the nurse droid was adminstering the serum. "Perhaps we should take some time to prepare ourself?"They were to become merge into one being afterall...in every sense of the word. While the android try to remain detached and logical with herself, her own heart beat fast at the prospect. Would the personality be herself or Cipher? Or a combination of the two. Would their memory be shared together? All sorts of questions which could only be answered with the fusion technique. Cipher | 407 words Total Word Count: 1722

While she listened to Audrey speak on the requirements to activate the technique, Cipher continued listening intently to her words. Her eyes were locked onto the silver-haired woman and never wavered. In her mind, the first thing she mentioned was easy for the two of them, making them some of the most fitting people to put the ability to use. The heart, the mind, and wavelength needed to be similar in order for it to work. Cipher assumed that the fusion would come to a premature end if that were to be disrupted, or not even work in the first place. As Audrey tucked away some of the bangs bordering her face to reveal the item in question, her honey-coloured orbs shifted from her face to the earring. Looks could be deceiving in this case. Before her very eyes was a simple earring that resembled an orb of solid jade, yet boasted the ability to fuse two entities together into one. The earrings rectified any issues that would normally arise from individuals who may be harder to fuse together, according to the android, forcing them into the alleged state of synchronicity. Additionally, if Cipher recalled correctly, she might have heard about the artifact before. Not just from being associated with the previous owner, but because of their storied history. In turn, they seemed familiar, but she could not ascertain the exact past of the item. When she passed her its counterpart, Cipher took it into her hand. Immediately, she could feel the subtle power radiating from it. Not quite at the level where it would be distinct, but a sort surreal radiance that she couldn’t quite put into words. The notion that if she were to put this into her thankfully already pierced ears she would immediately become merged with Audrey felt even more surreal. Clasping her hand around it, her regular one, her attention floated back up towards Audrey’s face just as one of the nurse droids closed in on the saiyan. As it administered the regenerative serum, she let out an appreciative sigh of relief. Audrey suggested they take time to prepare, and Cipher tilted her head to the side before nodding. She didn’t know what effect her current state would have on the fusion. Still, she was somewhat conflicted because she was excited to get into it, but didn’t want any damage she endured at the moment to carry over and by association be felt by Audrey. Needless to say, the amount of information she just took in was a lot to process, and maybe it would be a good idea to have a clearer mind when getting down to it. “What should we do for now, then?” Cipher asked, her attention resigning from its placement on the floor and back towards her lover. “Other than me recuperating, I mean. And I think we should devise something to do when we are fused. I think it would be ideal if we had a live punching bag to try it out on just to get a taste of the strength. And to get a feel for it mentally. When a real challenge comes around, we won’t be blindsided by how it feels to be merged.” Audrey | 542/2601

Audrey nearly chuckled at her suggestion. How typical of a Saiyan's line of thought to test combat capability of the fusion form. Granted, she did suggest it to help her access the transformation mode and help her figure that out. Of course, upon suggestion of looking for a punching bag to test their strength, the android pondered the question slightly. Assuming that the fusion between them do work, even if she utilized all the combat droids on the cruiser as sparring partner she highly doubted they will give much challenge. Even less so in a transformation mode. An option came to mind to bring her lover to planet Venus but she shot down the thought almost immediately...while it would make a fantastic training place for Cipher, the android had mastered the environment herself. Perhaps she should visit other planets in another quadrant instead? She was about to suggest that before she realized...there was a high chance that they will grow overconfident with their capabilities and even challenge the Emperor and all his army on his homeplanet. Given both their intense loathing of said lizard, the only reason they didn't act upon them was the lack of ability to mount a frontal charge or even an assassination. While fried lizard is consider a delicacy to some race, she would have to hold on such thoughts...for now at least. It was when she felt a tiny prick on her neck that the android was reminded of another location they could test out their strength without fear of consequences. The Makaioshin that had lend out a hand to her during troubled times, offering a bond which was closest thing the android felt to a mother. While the android still have a hard time to figure her out, she did appear to genuinely care about the android's wellbeing. "How about we visit the demon realm then? There's a certain Makaioshin I've been working alongside with who allowed me to train there as long as I continue renting out my service to crush her adversaries. Some of the demon there are a bit strong to confront even in my Overdrive mode." the android finally suggested. Cipher | 360 words Total Words: 2082.

When Audrey brought up the demon realm, Cipher’s eyes went wide for a moment. She learned that the android had not only been there before but had done so in the company of a Makaioshin that allowed her to train in its hellish premises as long as she offered mercantile services in exchange. As she expected, there seemed to be entities within the realm that could even oppose Audrey’s transformation, most likely with one of their own. Without a doubt, their combined form would have the resources to attain a transformation of its own, meaning the environment would provide the challenge they needed in order to work out the kinks of the form. After learning about this, as per usual, Cipher’s reaction hardly resembled anything a normal individual would produce when receiving the proposition of going into the demon realm. The suggestion cultivated excitement in Cipher, and her lips widened into a grin. Strong opponents to face, the ability to exercise their power without anything in terms of repercussions, it sounded like paradise for the combat-loving saiyan. She never visited such a realm before, she was never positive if it would be possible for her to do so, but she considered demons to be very similar to her own race in terms of desires and ideologies. Well, maybe the former was inherently a little more malicious, but a good chunk of saiyans were unfathomably alike in that regard. With this knowledge in mind, she bobbed her head up and down in a resolute nod. “Sounds like a good time to me,” She said, her tone—as usual—completely sultry when speaking on the subject of things combat-related. Naturally, she possessed a few questions in her mind about the demon realm. Since she was never there before, she didn’t know what to expect. Not what it looked like, not about the population, not if there were any government structures or anything like that. If they were fusing she would likely share Audrey’s memories of it, but she wanted to also know about it going in. “I never thought it was possible for mortals to head into that realm. Is there a certain way of going about it, or am I mistaken? And, if you don’t mind, could you tell me a few things about the realm? As much as I enjoy the company of like-minded races, I’d still like to know what I’m getting myself into.” Audrey | 403/3004

Cipher appeared to be ecstatic with her suggestion, which suprised the android slightly. It was not until she explained that her races to be like-minded that the android finally understand and made the connection between them both. The belief that strength trumps everything was certainly a connection they both shared, although how they defined such things may be slightly different. "The demon realm...well to put it on layman terms, were in another dimension literally. You can't access them at all via common mode of transformation. In fact, I was only made aware of it recently when the Makaioshin I worked with decided to visit the mortal realm on a "business" trip, as she put it." Yes, the android find the idea that demons coming over to do financial activity of any sort here in the mortal realm to be quite odd but decided to take it as it was. Perhaps there was something here that cannot be find over there. "Should you wish to get there you will need to use teleportation technique...not the Spatial transfer of Instant Transmission technique mind you, but through dimension hopping. The Makaioshin granted me that capability when she gave me a mark..." Audrey turned herself slightly as she showed her a part of her neck though Cipher would see nothing on the skin. "...which can only be seen if you can manipulate dark energy. It's not visible here but over there, you can see it plain as daylight."Now that the method of getting there was explained the android decided to describe to her how the place look like next. Collecting her thoughts she waited for Cipher to address her statement of travelling there before she do so. It would be better for the information to be given in bits and pieces rather than dropped all into her lap at once. "Now I cannot say I visited every location in the demon realm in it's entirety but the location we'll teleport reminded me of Venus in some manner. Barren land stretched as far as the horizon, though the lack of thunderstorm was quite apparent. The colour of the sky was purple in some places although I've seen different hues on others. There are various oddly shape trees which we can use as landmark of sorts, the biggest one of which was the tree of might. That would be where the hotspot activities are...demons that are eager to gain powers from the fruit had make their settlement there. That would be a good place for us to test our powers." Audrey concluded before she remembered to give the Saiyan warning. With the newfound power it was easy to get overconfident and cocky so it would be best to warn her before they merge. "The Makaioshin I'm working alongside with flies a certain banner to represent her "House" and the demons who serve her wear a certain identification in the form of tattoos. If we are to train there we should take care only to beat the demons who were not marked in that manner, lest you wish for us to earn our Makaioshin wrath and be zapped into a doll or worst." The latter sounded like it was something said in jest but the look on anroid's face was quite serious. She rather not risk the ire of the Makaioshin in question simply because they were drunk with power. Cipher | 560 words Total words:2642.

Cipher started to listen to the explanation intently. She hardly seemed to move from her position as she listened, a hand parked next to each side of her while the nurse droid continued to administer medicine that mended her broken body. Whatever pain, or pleasure, she felt as a result of the serum dispensing was grossly overshadowed by the surplus of information she ended up receiving. Foremost, she learned that the realm was in a different dimension. To this, Cipher showed very little in terms of surprise. She suspected that it was not a plane that could be reached through conventional means such as space travel or even the aforementioned spatial travel through the famed technique Instant Transmission. The entity in question she ended up meeting was there on some kind of business trip, and though it piqued her interest to some extent as to the demon’s identity along with what they could possibly consider a business trip, it held extremely low priority in comparison to other tasks at hand. What did elicit a pang of surprise on her face, her eyes widening slightly in response, was learning that Audrey boasted some variety of demonic mark. Golden eyes detoured towards the woman’s neck when it was exposed, but her inability to manipulate dark energy prevented her from being able to see it. Dark energy, if its namesake had any relevance to it, sounded like something exclusive to demons and hybrids, just like the legendary transformation—Super Saiyan—was exclusive to her race. Curious. She wondered what kind of power could be offered through such a transaction? Demons always wanted something, but that could be applied to nearly everybody and everything. Cipher appreciated their transparency. Listening to the description of the land, Cipher’s eyes lit up once again. The idea of such an eccentric looking plane sat well with her, even though it might creep out other people. Barren land, oddly shaped trees including the nefarious Tree of Might itself, and strange hues painting the sky and land alike. “So, like something out of a Pollock painting…” Cipher said in passing as she mused over the idea of such an alien land; one even more, alien than all of the alien lands she already set foot upon. Seemingly, Cipher may have been a not-so-closeted fan of the occult, judging from her reactions to the minute details of the separate dimension. Some Tree of Might fruit sounded pleasant, too. Snacking on it could undoubtedly boost her power, but it may be limited to a very temporary boot exclusive to their merged form if they were to ingest it as one entity. For now, she stowed that thought in the back of her mind instead of letting it contaminate her conversation with low priority things. Audrey concluded the explanation with more of a hazardous tale. Should they defeat demons carrying a certain banner, they may draw the ire of the Makaioshin in question. Looking at Audrey’s sober expression suggested she was serious, but Cipher, in contrast, exhibited nothing in terms of anxiety. “I won’t attack those ones, of course. Or rather, we hopefully won’t,” Cipher said, rectifying the statement before continuing, “We can only hope that whatever comes of our fusion doesn’t decide to take on some extra competition. We also can’t promise what may happen if anyone pisses off that fusion, either.” It sounded to Cipher that it combined the two personalities, and that could make for a plethora of malice given the participants darker natures. Pollock painting? Audrey had expected her lover to take interest in things other than martial arts but painting was definitely not one of them. She took a moment to look up on the paintings in her mind to make sure they're actually talking about the same person here before she nodded to Cipher's observation. "More or less. We should take a picture of the place when we visit there." As always, the android seems fond of snapping photos of unique things and places. The only reason she didn't the last few times was that the Makaioshin weird quirk of pulling her into the realm unprepared or that it slipped from her mind entirely as she was hired to do some work for her. Audrey nodded slightly Cipher reassured the android that they wouldn't be attacking the demons of the same house at least as much she can from her end. They didn't even know the personality of the fusion between the two so it was hard to plan for anything. Still the android wished to take some measures before they visit the demon realm, if they could rein in the darker personality of the fusion form somehow then it would be for the best. "Agreed. However I think before we headed to the demon realm we should practice fusion and then splitting. As much as I want to test the combat form of fusion immediately, knowing the side effect of what happen when we split takes high priority here. Such knowledge would prevent ourself from becoming too reckless I believe." the android suggested, hoping that the Saiyan would see it her way. At most she would allow a chance to transform before they split back but anything further than that would be quite risky. "Is there anything else you wish to ask about the demon realm?" Audrey asked, turning towards the nurse droid which finally retracted after finishing the serum. The screen would tell them what happen, just how many ribs she crack, how to prevent such things from happening again...to which the android smirk slightly at Cipher at that, as well as suggestion recuperation before resuming any further training. Not that the android needed to know the last part, she would have make her beloved rest no matter what. "Well, looks like we have some time before our date in the demon realm babe. If you have any suggestion on how to spend our time until then, I'm all ears. My only condition is to not have them physically demanding." The android grinned slightly at her. "Plenty of time for that later." Cipher | 430 words Total Word Count: 3072

Evidently, Audrey had a point. It would be bad if they didn’t know what the repercussions of using the fusion were. Depending on the prerequisite, it could alter how and when they should use the item in battle, or even outside of battle. If the side effects were minimal, then it wouldn’t be a bad idea to lead the charge using the form. But if it came with a hefty price, then perhaps it would be better suited as a last resort. “Just let me know when you want to try it.” Cipher answered softly, agreeing with the sentiment. When it was just her own body on the line she could afford to be reckless. However, when Audrey’s body was on the line as well, then she would exercise caution without a second thought. After all, most of the reason she harnessed strength was to be able to protect those she cared about; it was hardly a heroic pursuit or desire given how narrow that spectrum was. In turn, a line of thought putting Audrey’s well-being on the line would be counterintuitive. While the nurse droid assessed her injuries and provided a spiel on how to prevent said damage in the future, Cipher awarded it with a lazy, dismissive glance from her peripheral. The actual information itself she wasn’t taking seriously, but rather, the pressure she felt from Audrey. Normally she wouldn’t care if it were anybody else, but there was something about upsetting the android that Cipher didn’t enjoy. In turn, she could reluctantly sit put while her body recovered. Thankfully there were medical advances that allowed her to recuperate much faster and have an alibis to get back to it as soon as possible. “Think you covered everything.” Cipher said while she stretched her regular arm, testing to see how sore her body was in the aftermath of the medical procedure. She then listened to Audrey speak on the topic of their spare time before they embarked on their journey, and her lips finally curled into a smirk when she heard the end of that question. Obviously, she understood the implications, and she would have been all for it if not for Audrey’s worry about the current state of her body. Still, the physically demanding activity would kind of be a bitch right now, even she had to admit that inwardly. “Could eat, could just hang around and chill out…” Her voice tapered off for a moment as she seemed contemplative, but because of her enjoyment of the simple things in her off time, she didn’t have a broad spectrum of ideas herself. Cipher hoped that Audrey wouldn’t be disappointed with her ineptitude in that area. “I don’t mind anything if it’s with you. What do you got in mind?” Audrey | 473/4072

Thanks to the advances of medical technology, what would have taken days or even weeks to mend back then would merely take hours with adequate amount of rest. Of course, this would mean that they would have hours to burn before they actually could fuse together. Asking Cipher for suggestion bore little fruit...she had always been the type to follow the android's lead. Not that the android mind most of the time but that would mean it's up to her to come up with something. Of course Audrey's cruiser wasn't just filled with health spa facilities, even she had some days where she wanted to to just kick back and relax. In preparation for those days, she had set aside an entertainment room for relax and recreation. Beckoning the Saiyan to follow her, the android nodded to the nurse bots and ordered them to stand by as she left the area. "Long flight trip often makes for boring journey so I built this room for when I need a diversion before landing on the battlefield. There ought to be something in here that catch your interest, if not you can just ask the droids to bring you food." Audrey told her as she let the Saiyan inside. This room was one of the few that was not completely dedicated to enhancing her strength, the other being the room for jamming session which the android didn't feel up to it right now. When Cipher entered the room at first, contrary to the name on the door there was only a blank white room at first. It wasn't until the android took out a remote and fiddle with it that their surrounding completely change, from an empty white room to a common living room, complete with couches and smart television and a gaming system hooked up to them. Another fiddle of the remote and the surrounding around them changed as they're now in a bar, with snooker table and dart board as well as jukebox playing music in the corner. The android waited slightly for Cipher to soak in the atmosphere before she finally speak. "Holodeck." the android told her before Cipher could even begin to ask her question. "It's a virtual reality simulation room for entertainment. They use holographic technology to create things you can actually interact with hard light....though they are limited to this room. This is just a civilian model though...a military model would even create holographic projection you can fight with." Audrey explained as she brought up a screen in front of her. Cipher will find there are settings for different places and can also create different objects. Cipher will notice that organic items like food or drinks cannot be created, nor can they create an AI for them to interact with. Cipher | 460 words Total words: 3532

Even though she had been on Audrey’s ship before, she found herself learning more about the specifics of it with each passing day. Her own ship was fairly barren in comparison. As she followed along, she listened to the android speak on the topic of a room dedicated to offering a diversion to the mundanity of zestless flights. Apparently, she had the option of either indulging it or asking the droids to make food for her. In a way, it reminded her of Atreus’ base. There were servants, be it A.I or otherwise, that made food for them; she wondered if Audrey preferred making it herself over having the droids do it, too. When she first witnessed the blank room she simply blinked and stared at it. Obviously, something was amiss, but she trusted her significant other enough to know that desolate, vacant rooms were not her idea of a good time. Thus, she waited for her to configure it; it just kind of caught her off-guard. With the flick of a remote, the room was changed from its current state to a homely living room. Surprise seized her features for a moment before her expression sobered and a small smirk ghosted her lips. Witnessing it change into a bar conjured up more flecks of enthusiasm in her eyes. The latter, evidently, was an area Cipher enjoyed to a considerably larger extent. Before she received an opportunity to comment, Audrey went straight into it. She learned that thanks to the convenience of modern science they were able to shape the room to their liking using hard light and holograms. Unfortunately, it could not create anything edible, but it was entertaining nonetheless. Her eyes lit up slightly when the android mentioned a military-grade implement that created tangible holograms to fight. From the moment those words left her lips, it meant that Cipher was going to purchase one of these at some point for her own ship. “Sounds like I’ll have to get my hands on one of those military models, then.” Cipher quipped as she entered the room. Picking up one of the darts and inspecting it for a few seconds, she snapped her focus towards the dart board and flung the dart towards it. After the projectile sunk dead into the center of the board, Cipher hoisted herself up onto the table. Again, her attention returned to Audrey. “The droids can play bartender, then. I could use something strong and some wings.” She said, tossing another dart at the board. Therefore, that was how she intended—and would—spend her time for the most part. Darts, drinking, changing the music on the jukebox were all things she enjoyed doing. If she didn’t think it unwise to get drunk, she may have even challenged the android to a drinking game. It would be interesting to see how her constitution fared, after all. Audrey | 480/4552

Audrey smiled slightly upon hearing Cipher wanted to procure the military model of holodeck...they weren't exactly quite cheap, which was why she didn't have it installed just yet. Still, even she cannot deny it's usefulness... an AI that can simulate her opponent's fighting style? Of course the AI couldn't mimic their enemy completely but only based on the input they had on them. It was quite possible for their data to be outdated afterall. "I'll see if my connections know someone who can help you install those. They're a bit pricy, so be prepared to pony up a huge amount of zennies for them." Audrey replied as Cipher threw the dart towards the board with pinpoint accuracy. The girl certainly was quite deft with them and from the way her eyes light up earlier, she must have been to bar like these quite frequently. Upon listening to Cipher's orders, the android nodded to the droids to get to it while having the same drink. As Cipher seem to busy herself with the dart board, the android approach the billiard table before she picked up the cue stick. Applying the cue chalk to the tip of the cue, Audrey looked at the board. The balls were already set up in first place due to customization so she just had to sink the ball into pockets. Games like billiards and snooker had always been her favorite parlor game...with power such as hers, it helped the android to focus the right amount of energy. Too little and the ball wouldn't move as intended, too much and the balls would have flown from her table all over the room. In a way, it's also her method to gauge her own readiness for the upcoming trip in a relaxed manner. Had she sink all of the balls within the pockets that would mean she's in top form. Perform any less or even poorly would make her reconsider the approach on the matter. Thus the android continued to play billiard for a bit until enough time had passed before she finally put down the cue stick. Taking a glass of the drink the droid served, she down hers to help herself brace for the fusion. Cipher had already shown that she had recuperated enough so there wasn't any point of them delaying any further. "Think it's about time love. Shall we commence the fusion?" the android asked as she leaned slightly against the billiard table. Cipher | 410 words Total words: 3942

When it came down to connections, Audrey always seemed to have more than her. Cipher definitely didn’t have anyone behind the scenes who could hook her up with a deal on hardware on that level; at least not legally. Most of the people she used to hang out with from her time spent doing mercenary work were not reputable characters and their means of obtaining things of that magnitude would risk many of run-ins with the law. “I’m not surprised that you’re in contact with somebody like that. All of my old contacts would probably suggest stealing one.” Cipher said, giving a little bit of background on the types of people she formerly shared company with. Somehow, she felt safe when she opened up to Audrey, like she didn’t have to hide who she was. With other people, she felt like she needed to keep a lid on her past and acted far more guarded. But whenever she mentioned those things in her company, Audrey never seemed to mind. At some point, Cipher stopped playing darts and focused on a few other things. She watched Audrey play billiards, something that she had a knack for as well. Cipher didn’t participate in it, however, because she dedicated herself towards indulging her food and drink. Once the droids were finished, she helped herself to the spiciest wings imaginable, seemingly without being perturbed or feeling much of the effects, while taking periodic drinks of alcohol. It really hit the spot and relaxed her even more. She loved drinking and she loved spicy food. Cipher almost forgot about her training completely her body had recovered to such an extent over the next little while. Ultimately she came to a stop, currently gnawing on the remainder of a chicken bone while she turned her bold eyes towards Audrey. Those very eyes appeared to light up once again when the android proposed they start with the fusion. As a result, she took out the Potara earring she was giving and cradled it in her palm, before moving it closer to her ear. Should Audrey be currently wearing her half of the ornament, the moment she put it in they would fuse into a single entity. What it would be like and the side effects were unknown factors, but she still could not help but be even more excited at the prospect. “Ready when you are.” Cipher said. The moment Audrey gave the cue to put it in, she would push herself away from the table and sink the earring into place in her ear. Audrey | 431/4983
