Name. Raijin Shinato
Race. Shinjin/Earthling Hybrid (Shinjin predominant)

Backstory Raijin has no recollection of his youth, or his parents. In fact, even his heritage was a mystery to him. Unaware that he was sired by a rogue Kaio and an earthling, he always found himself different from his peers. This had led him to having an aversion to people, generally preferring solitude. Thus, his status as an orphan was generally overlooked. However from an early age, the one thing that held him together was an ability most would covet: magic. Since his youth he could materialize basic objects seemingly from thin air, unaware of the concept of ki and its manipulation. Hoping to stave off the physical exhaustion he would feel upon utilizing this ability, he trained himself physically to increase his stamina.
After prolonged training and years passing, his abilities had manifested more fully. With a flash of electricity Raijin would materialize weapons, his ki energy capable of a bizarre electric quality. Despite his developing strength, a newfound obsession had filled the hybrid: culture. In a few, very brief travels he had discovered that interplanetary travel was not only possible, but a common occurence
This meant his obscure origins could be discovered. This was why he had trained for so long, and had made his way to West City, in search of a shuttle. He had read about a taxi service that would take him to some sort of space station, where he could make his way to any port in the galaxy. He didn't particularly understand it, but at least he was making progress...

MOTIVATIONS: Raijin is motivated by his desire for understanding. He has yet to participate in any real society or cultural exchange, and suffers from a severe identity crisis. Becauze of this, his motivations are malleable, nd easily manipulated.
QUIRKS: Raijin struggles ever feeling comfortable with anyone, really. He's secretive about his past, and tries to pass off as a human, despite his pointed ears. Hates being called an elf.
BONDS: As with many orphans, he wishes he could meet his unknown parents, not knowing how devastating it can be to know your origins.
CALL TO ACTION: Raijin had grown tired of training in isolation. 18 years with little to no interaction was starting to wear on him. It was time for Raijin to find his father- so, he set off, searching known and unknown space for him.
APPEARANCE: A dark haired, silver-eyed youth standing at an average height. If not for his slightly pointed ears, one might mistake him as a human. His gaze was curious, and he rarely smiled. Usually hewould grow his hair out enough to partially veil his elongated ears[/b]
