| The demoness let her gaze drift from the looming doom in the East and back towards Lute. He was feeling better it seemed; his very body renewed with some sort of mystical trance. Kuueru could only assume any other power in the world logical compared to the twisted and complicated spells that arose from this realm.
“Get to know one another better? By fighting? Right.” Kuueru tried to process Lute’s logic once more before erupting into a hearty laughing fit. Ideas that arose from companionship and teamwork fell limp against her mind. She barely had a social life, and she didn’t care to rouse up others unless it was in desperation. Fighting a man for fun was the furthest thing from having a good time to Kuueru.
“I suppose, what do I have to lose? But we must hurry.”
The demon whipped her body around, fully facing her opponent. He seemed to be poised and ready with his new vigor. The demoness prepared herself, blinding blue flames whipping from her body. In her hand she began focusing the energy as best she could. It whipped and shifted wildly in her grasp before she whipped her entire arm to the side. As she did a long chain of flame formed what appeared to be a whip.
“Here's to learning something new!” She hurled a warning towards Lute, her muscular arm whipping the intensely hot line towards his torso in two quick successions.

“I suppose, what do I have to lose? But we must hurry.” Good, little demon. Let's see what you're made of.He watched her intently as she produced a whip made out of pure flames. Conjuration was a quite normal demonic power. He too conjured four smokey black shurikens made out of dark energy, but kept them up tucked up sleeve--literally. She wouldn't be able see them and they would prove to be the perfect surprise. The scorching whip whipped around and he ducked, rolling out of the way. It made a resounding crack as it hit the ground and Lute was pelted with--with frozen chunks. An interesting... illusion.Whips were tough weapons to deal with. They could shift and curl. Lute knew that because he often used his own Namekian biology in the Warrior Clan's notorious Mystic Attack. He thought he had judged the whip right, rolling once more, but it caught him across the back. It froze his mantle and gi into crystalline ice, which shattered from the impact. His flesh was left freezer burned. It sapped strength from him, but he had to keep moving forward. "You're dangerous," Lute said. He kicked off the ground, leaping out of range from her third attack. He unleashed his rolling amethyst aura, allowing it flare out in a wild flash. The flash cast tiny motes of his ki into the atmosphere, cascading outward. They stopped and lingered, crackling and sparking with latent power. From them Kuueru would feel Lute's aura enveloping her and crushing down from all angles. Vanishing, he appeared at her side, wreathed in amethyst flame. The heat from him was palpable and just being close would feel as though she were going to burst into flame. | Magic was an odd art. Flames could burn but also freeze the very water in your skin. Many a thing and illusion could be created with the simple influx of mystical energy. She retracted her whip; the flames slipping back into her palm like a retractable tape measure. She was trying to avoid getting close to the Namekian based on what she had read of their fighting abilities. If he were able to get into her range, then he would be able to fight her on fair terms. Kuueru wasn’t the type to take an advantage over another no matter how much they outranked her in power.
“Dangerous? Hardly.”Now was Lute's turn to attack, she prepared herself but was caught off-guard by the radiating wave of painful energy. Her body racked with pain and agony only for it to stop moments later. She gathered her thoughts and looked towards her enemy. Suddenly he was gone, and beside of her. His fist dove into her rib-cage, in a blinding light she whispered an incantation to lessen the burning blow. He then attacked her knee, the tendons beneath her skin ripping and tearing slightly from his assault.
The demon hissed between pearly whites, She was ready for her next attack, but only hoped that her reflexes could keep the man at bay while she attempted to get some jabs in. Kuueru was not just a user of fire attacks, she had access to an arsenal of elements depending upon the situation. Her hand began giving off a faint mist; it resembled a cold lake during sunrise--steam pillowing from her clawed appendage.
In a smudge of blue light she started sprinting towards the green man. The demoness weaved and pelted the red dirt beneath her foot. She attempted to contort her body to get into his tender zones. With a brilliant punch of power Kuueru first aimed to release a beam of ice towards the close ranged torso of her opponent. Followed by another one towards his opposite flank. In a rapid change her fist changed from the bitter cold and back to the resilient flames. Adding a final tap the girl shot a smaller whip of flames towards his bald head.

"Dangerous? Hardly." Steam rose from Kuueru's hand and Lute moved to the balls of his feet as he anticipated her counter attack. She darted in as a blur of blue and attempted to punch him. Lute stepped to the side, his fingers pushing off of her forearm just as she unleashed a condensed beam of ice. It crystallized with a loud thunk as moisture all around was turned into frost. It left a brilliant white line of snow and icicle shards across the dirt. Flames roared over his head as he ducked beneath the second attack. The third came in the form of the fiery whip. Lute's keen eyes scanned the stream of flame and cold, seeking a moment of weakness in the attack. He already suffered for it once, but if he timed it just right he could benefit. Bringing his arm up, he let the whip's tendril curl around his forearm and dig into his flesh. It was then he struck back, his arm seeming to grow and extend like some sort of serpent. He clashed against her attack, sending his own counter right up the middle with devestating blow to her gut. Sure, the whip's flames left behind a blackened sear on his arm, but it was perfect revenge. His crushing aura continued to push down upon her, like the air itself were a weight. Lute, invigorated by the pain blinked from sight and appeared above her. He flicked his wrist, letting a smoky black energy shuriken fall into his palm. It was a bit of sleight of hand. He doubted she would see it. Just as he floated down he tucked into a front flip and landed behind her a dozen or so feet away. His arm shot out and with it the shuriken, spinning through the air right at her back. He followed up by chasing after and trying to kick her in the lower spine. "You're crafty. Imaginative. Kuueru didn’t experience it often, but in the midst of battle her attacks were wild and uncoordinated. Yeah, they packed a punch--but without a trained arm to lead them they fell flat against the Namekian. She had to be more precise; wasting energy in emotional attacks got her nowhere.
It was too late to be worrying about what she should have done; her last whip attack was used against her, bright blue blood gurgled from her throat. Perhaps the punch jostled a bit too much of her insides. She gasped for breath and looked at the demon in the eye. He was already plotting something as she noticed the shuriken flying her way. She nimbly dodged the dark blades; her body contorting and twisting in the air. Lute wasn’t finished, it was merely a distraction for him to get close and strike again. A foot pounded into her spine sending her face first into the red dirt below.
“G--Guh.. Not fair.” Kuueru drug herself to her feet and turned on the man. With a level head she hoped to land more of her techniques. She whispered to herself, a quick incantation to rile the energy within. Again the very claws upon her fingers sprung to life with energy. She lashed forward like a cat, vibrant claws of azure energy swiping at the man’s face and torso. She paused, trying to now spear the man with an ice-beam attack like before. In the brief moment before it hit she managed to set off a light spell to try to blind Lute.

A blinding flash of light stole Lute's vision, replacing it with an infinite white. He grunted and reeled back with his forearm covering his eyes. He switched from relying on his sight to relying on his ability to sense her aura. Being able to adapt so quickly took years of experience in fighting . As he honed in on her, he felt a subtle motion of her aura flowing from her core into points around her hands. The movement of ki often meant that an attack was on its way, so he braced himself. It was a lot harder to judge distance and speed through someone's aura. So he let both azure claws tear into his forearms as he shifted them into place to block. His skin froze and cracked from the deep chill they embedded. His fingers wrapped around her wrists and he yanked hard, pulling her arms to the side and exposing her chest to his boot. It crashed in with violent force. She replied with a beam of condensed ice that crystallized the air along its path. Lute's rolling amethyst aura coalesced around him in a quick shield, the beam colliding against it. The air around him rushed and swirled with newly formed snow. It parted as he charged after her for a counter offensive. Another dark energy shuriken dropped from sleeve to palm and he chucked i. It tumbled through the air, aiming to stick into her stomach. Kuueru could feel the fatigue already panging her body. She was not used to controlling the magic for this long, let alone using it in a coordinated battle. She huffed loudly, gasping for air as a flat foot pounded into her diaphragm. Liquid escaped her mouth towards the Namekian, she almost blacked out from the lack of oxygen.
“G-Guh.” She had tried to recover with the spare beam but it was only deflected by a shield conjured by the man. She stood, her brow dripping with sweat. She felt the very core within shaking unstably. Waves of dark energy, then something much different affected her spells now. The continuous atmosphere from Lute’s attack wore her down, even attacking him hurt her. She decided to take a different approach with her defense, this time focusing and whispering the words to a spell of duplication. In the last minute before the shurikens would hit the girl disappeared, and in her place several different forms that looked identical. She stood motionless, waiting for him to realize the trickery before plotting her counter.
“Alright” She mumbled, pushing a small green bean down her throat. She chewed at it, her very body renewing with enough energy to control the chaos within. While Lute was off guard she stomped the ground beneath her, sending spikes of large frozen pikes towards the Namekian’s footing.

Lute grinned as he watched one of Kuueru's illusion's disappear. He was quite familiar with the ability, the after image. A simple ki hologram, meant to distract and misdirect. It worked too, because he was almost too late to hear the loud chink of ice freezing the air beside him. The frigid pikes nearly skewered him, but he managed to shoot out of the way with a pulse of ki. In the air, he ascended up until he was a hundred or so feet away from her. His amethyst aura, still burning hot began to fold in on itself until it was a skin tight sheen energy. The barrier would keep him shielded from her magic. Sure, it couldn't stop kinetic force., but it didn't need to. Confident he was safe, he began to plot his retaliation. He wanted to really test her skills, see how she fared at ranged combat. He chucked another dark shuriken. She had seen this attack already. As it buzzed through the air, she knew what to expect. He hoped to draw her attention to it as it was slower moving that most ranged attacks. Meanwhile, he blinked from sight and appeared directly above her head. Both of his arms pumped back and forth as he fired a short volley of palm-sized purple ki bolts that would rain down on her. Her distraction of after image seemed to work, but Lute still managed to escape the frozen pain that sprouted from the ground like a plant. She sighed; at this point the demon’s body was racked with pain and what little stamina hung on was about to be eliminated. She watched the man’s aura—it was brilliant and intimidated her.
“Fighting from afar?” Kuueru focused, she had to be ready for anything—the Namekian seemed to be a competent all around fighter. She could only hope she too one day would be. A shuriken ripped into her bicep. The pain distracted her enough to allow the volley of energy to burn into her body from above. She coughed from the smoke remaining, her body left face down in the dirt.
The demon turned a horned head to look at Lute. He was an excellent combatant; that only made her more confident that they would defeat this demon lord shortly and be back in the plane of the mortals soon. She smiled at the thought, despite her battered body she enjoyed herself.
“Next time, don’t hurt so bad okay?” Kuueru pleaded with the man, her hands pushing herself from the ground as she wobbled to a stand. BATTLE TRACKER

So there's no excuse for you to lose, unless I do something new."It was true that Kuueru had strength. In fact, it was abnormal strength for a demon. She didn't seem to have any formal training. Based on his assessment, like with most demons he fought, everything she did was pure instinct. Mind you, those were good instincts to have. To be able conjure a magical weapon and wield it with such ferocity wasn't something that any mortals could dream of. Demons were born warriors. He couldn't help his feeling of envy. Had he been born with such raw talent, how far would he be along. He wondered if it was the Demon Realm. The dark energy that permeated everything. It shaped and molded creatures. Everything was strong, therefore creatures had to grow stronger to rise up to match. He hoped he could help the mortal realm develop in such a way, after he tore down gods and abolished their misguided ways. Floating down, he landed not to far from Kuueru and dismissed his aura. "You're leagues above any mortals. Most are like insects, unaware of the potential they have inside of them. You would crush them.
