And vow to face each other once again in the future. And now having gone their separate ways both warriors now reflect on what brought them there in the first place.
“I still remember that day...“
”Like it only happened Yesterday...“
”It was the semi-final round, I was going up against a formidable opponent.“
”So there was this chick...“
”She seemed rather composed for a street fighter.“
”She was pretty bouncy for a martial artist.“
”Either way..."
"Either way..."
"I should’ve won...“
”She charged straight at me.“
“She headed straight for me.”
“I threw out a well placed strike.”
“She threw out this weird palm strike.”
“But she managed to block my blow.”
“I caught her hand and tossed her aside.”
“I landed on my back.”
“But she still got up...”
“I was rather worse for ware after that.”
“But she kept on fighting.”
“We traded strikes blow for blow.”
“It was pretty even, nobody was letting up.”
“But just then.”
“She started to rush me, I think she may have been attempting to grab me.”
“But like when I tried to put my arms around her, she hit me in the gut.”
“I thrusted both of my palms forward and sent a shockwave through her body.”
“It felt like I got hit by a truck.”
“She flew back a few feet my strike was a success.”
“But I wasan’t done, even if I was clutching my stomach.“
”The fight appeared to be over I offered to help her up.“
”So I suckered punched her with an uppercut.“
”I should’ve expected as much from a street fighter...still it was decidedly clever perhaps she was playing possum?“
”I guess I overestimated her...doesn’t matter who you are in a fight you gotta do anything to win, something a martial artist wouldn't understand.“
”The punch staggered me, but I remained composed.“
”I had finally gotten the upper hand and kicked up some dust into her eyes.“
”Another dirty trick.“
”I managed to grab some of her hair and headbutt her to the ground.“
”I hit the ground hard.“
”Now it’s my turn.“
”She sat atop me in a mounted position and began to thrash away at my face.“
”Now who’s on the offensive. I guess I overestimated her.“
”A few of the punches caused cuts around my cheeks and one under my eye.“
”She was starting to look pretty ugly.“
”Perhaps, it was time to take a page out her own playbook.“
”My hands were starting to get tired from wailing on her I called the ref over to call the fight. But then...“
”POW! I smashed my head into hers after she had looked away from me.“
”That REALLY hurt, but damn that girl had attitude, I respect that.“
”The headbutt staggered her, She was holding her nose for a moment, as she stood up. I think the referee wanted to make sure she was alright.“
”He started looking me over, and I pushed him offa me. I was pissed but I wasn't about to let her know that.“
”Surprisingly my attack hadn’t caught as off guard as I’d hope though she did begin to bleed from her nose.“
”That headbutt was pretty bad, I think it broke my nose or at least gave me a really bad cut.“
”There was no time to lose, I needed to plan my next attack after a moment of thinking things through I rushed her and attempted to attack with another palm strike.“
”Nah not this time, saw that coming from a mile away, I managed to stay composed enough to grab her arm and twist it behind her back and then gave her a good push to the floor.“
”But it was at this point that I realized.“
”That me and her...“
”We’re evenly matched.“
“I never thought I’d be pushed this far by a Streetfighter.”
“She was pretty tough, for a martial artist.”
“But now it was time for me to utilize my secret technique.”
“One more punch outta finish this.”
“I placed my hands by my side and began to gather my Ki.”
“What the heck was she doing...whatever it was now was my chance.”
“Tetsu...”
“Here it comes....!”
“Ha....”
“Say goodnight...!”
“Kyogeki!”
“...”
“...”
"And well after that..."
“I don’t really remember too much...”
“Last thing I remember was the referee calling the match.”
“My back was sore, I felt like I collided with something rigid and hard.”
“I couldn’t feel my left hand...what happened...?”
“I don’t really remember to much after I fired my Tetsu-ha kyogeki.”
“One minute I was throwing a punch and the next...nothing.”
“But what I do know...”
“Is that...”
“I should've won that fight!”
“Still...”
“She’d better watch her back.”
“I’d like to settle the score someday.”
“I want payback.”
“Bridget...”
“Asuka...”
Asuka has now gone on to become a wandering warrior taking on several fighters on the planet Earth. As for Bridget however, thought she was every bit Asuka's equal as a fighter. Bridget had more things to worry about. Bridget's life was riddled with poor decisions and characters with a questionable moral compass, having been in and out of jail, for rolling with the wrong crowd she was a much different person than the wide-eyed and innocent Asuka. Bridget had a stone cold outward personality, with a cocky edge to her and thirsted for action, which is one of the reasons she craved a fight as often as she could get one. And she most certainly got in, given the people she hung out with were scum and criminals, but given that some of their activities may have involved certain acts Bridget wouldn't tolerate she gained a reputation of a stiff and in her world being someone who ruined others good time was grounds to stepping into a coffin and Bridget knew that. And Bridget had a plan to do something about it. This was the beginning of her path. But as Bridget was fighting to get her life together on her path to improvement Asuka too would be training all the while. Only time will tell how strong both girls become.
