He drew in a breath of fresh air, back against a brick building, legs shoddily crossed, spilling into the modestly-busy sidewalk - except, the air was not particularly fresh. There was the faint smell of piss clinging to it and doubtlessly, the spot Loki took was near a ‘popular’ rest stop for the dispossessed. Regardless of the degree the city was cleaned, how much rain pelted the streets, his nose could pick such a thing up with ease; more-often-than-not, unwillingly.
He snorted, a snide, short-lived laughter at the very idea - but not in disgust, in understanding and impish delight. Loki himself had an empty coffee cup with loose change speckling the bottom. One individual passed him by, muttered something about his clothes looking too fancy for his panhandling to be anything but an act. Loki’s reaction was non-existent until he stood up nonchalantly.
He brushed what he could from his backside, stretched, turned his attention towards the offender and muttered, “Lesse if I can…”
Loki vanished. A flicker of a figure appeared by the man’s side. Something happened to propel him into the empty alleyway he was walking by. As the man landed, sliding on his stomach, his head eventually touched the stationary Loki’s feet as he came to a halt.
“Yeah… nobody probably saw that.” There were grunts and groans and then cries of, “What’s happening?” and “You did this!?”
Various accusations. All true.
“Shut up,” Loki spat, smacking his head into the ground. Knocked out, Loki was free to loot the motionless body. He fished out a wallet, looked it over, tucked it into a pocket of his own, and then the body spontaneously caught on fire - blue fire.
“Good thing I was around. I’ve made somethin’ outta ya. Dinner, I figure…”

There was an alleyway—and therefore, there must have been buildings bordering it. There was a pub nearby with a window at the back. It probably lead to some kind of storage room where they kept miscellaneous items and wares. A man came crashing through the window right after the fox-esque humanoid set another ablaze. This person seemed to have no relevance to what just transpired, not even sparing a glance towards him before he tried to sprint in another direction. After he burst through the window and left a shower of glass fragments in his wake, a pink-haired woman vaulted over the windowsill with a Cheshire grin across her face. And a silenced .22 in her hand. Pointing the pistol towards her mark, she fired a round into the back of his knee, sending him crashing against the nearest dumpster. Sniffing the air, Eden progressed towards the man while he screamed and clutched his wounded limb. Scrunching her nose with a look of distaste smeared across her face, she idly remarked, “This place smells like piss usually, but now piss and barbeque?” Her pace remained nonchalant while she readied her weapon. Muffled gunfire was heard once again while she fired another bullet. Piercing through his head, it left a smear of gore on the dark-green metal comprising the large garbage disposal. She proceeded to empty the rest of the clip into his motionless chest before reloading and turning around. Crimson eyes fixed on the anthromorphic fox with curiosity. “Nothing like a good frag in the evening, you know?”-- Loki

The crash of glass.
There was a start that rinsed Loki through at the soundings of broken glass, the sight of an individual's flying through the window and out into the alleyway he occupied. The individual was felled by a woman brandishing a frightening firearm; at least, frightening to mortals without influence over their own lifeforce.
Speaking of which, while people continued to pass by, there were some who started to gain a curiosity for what that faint blue light was coming from. The audio of cries and broken glass would eventually, if they had not already, become a beacon for attention. For right then, the only eyes beginning to peer into the alleyway’s depths were common folk. They posed, of course, no threat - or were very skilled in suppressing what power they harboured.
Loki felt like not taking a chance and gathered the flamed from the corpse adjacent to him into a fox; a fiery-blue elemental who sat obediently beside Loki who had turned a suspicious eye towards the new arrival. Her question was met with a smirk, a chuckle; albeit infinitely short-lived, brief. “Hell, yeah, but I just gotta know. Who be you?” Loki asked with that simper still staining his maw.

What the hell was that? Some kind of construct of flame, fed sentience by a silver spoon. The pinkette tilted her head to the side, her fingers remaining intertwined around her firearm. What interested her the most was the positive response she received about enjoying a good, fresh kill. She may hang around some shady figures, but they were all in it for the money. Sure, she was in it for the money as well—but were there any wholesome folk around who truly enjoyed just snuffing out life as though they were blowing out candles? That was what she sought, and maybe that was what she finally got. She proved to be as overt as they come. “I’m Eden. I don’t really have a last name or anything. I’m a lot of things, you know! An assassin, a mercenary, a bounty hunter, an arms dealer—you name it, I’ve probably done it. I don’t have any moral scruples or anything silly like that. I kill anyone even if they’re nine or ninety-nine. I’ll stomp babies and puppies until you could spread them over bread like mustard for the most reasonable prices on the market. Hell, I even do it for free. I just love to kill things!”With every word she articulated, the look in her crimson eyes grew more and more deranged. Just talking about all of those sweet, sweet actvities caused her salivary glands to grow increasingly zealous. Even things like her breathing became more and more laboured while the edges of her pupils tried to assimilate the look of a serrated knife. Each word was complimented by an enthusiastic wave of her pistol. “You look like you like killing things, too. Want to go kill some of these people around here with me?”-- Loki

“...Well,” Loki began after a momentary pause. The still, brief, but ostensibly necessary, was required to take in the unique... flavours the girl was presenting him with. They were, of course welcomed, but somewhat unexpected. “I’m Loki. I gotta say - approve of yer pastime. Just got done with some pan-handlin’. This guy here...” Loki glanced down to the corpse. “Was a douche. Had it comin’. Y’ know.
“Can’t say I don’t wanna. Seems like there was a time where maimin’ people wasn’t that cool an idea t’ me, but then I finally came to the conclusion that, least for me, all I’ve been meetin’ are assholes; one after the other, y’ know? So, then I was like, ha! The fuck do I care if, like… this guy behind me?” There was somebody looking into the alleyway. Their curiosity had become fear and they were about to turn tail and run, but Loki’s flame-forged fox turned quickly and pounced onto his face. Its form unraveled, spilled down and onto the whole of his body. Screams ensued and panic grew and grew as others caught sight of the flaming individual.
“Dies?”
The fire coalesced at the top of the victim’s head, who laid motionless on the ground around people running in terror from the strange, menacing construct.
“So, yeah. I guess I can do that.”

Wonderful, absolutely wonderful! Laughter erupted from the woman abruptly after she witnessed cruelty at the hands of the fiery construct before them. At last, she found somebody who could enjoy the fruits of bloodshed just as much as she did. Her laughter shook her frame before she cast her arms out to her sides, looking up towards the sky and inhaling as though the screams and panic had freshened the air around her. Her laughter tapered off, and she shuddered while she soaked in the chaos. She did not expect to eliminate her target and get to indulge in some delicious collateral in the meantime, could it get any better? “That’s great! We’ll take out the stragglers and then we can orchestrate more concrete objectives from there!” Reaching into a satchel on her side, she withdrew what appeared to be a grenade. Pulling the pin with her teeth, she tossed it over into the frenzied crowd and listened to the ensuing bang. The shockwave rattled the environment and sent debris, limb and fear scattering haphazardly in every direction. Notably, the grenade seemed to be more powerful than any regular grenade, the sophisticated technology much higher than military grade. Following the gesture, she used her augmented prowess to leap up onto the rooftop. Dislodging her Zastava M70 from its mounted position on her back, she assumed a partial crosslegged position on top of the roof, aiming her ironsights down on whatever she had visibility on before her. Switching the assault rifle onto fully automatic, also known as ‘fun mode’, she started to fire on those she deemed hostiles—which was inclusive to everyone who was not Loki. With every body that dropped, her grin grew in stature. -- Loki

Eden’s laughter, like a dessert donning a cherry, effortlessly lent Loki inspiration enough to maintain his wicked smirk and direct his fiery companion to the bodies around him in the alley way. The construct spilled into a mass of flame that consumed the body whole and before it had nothing left to burn, reformed itself without leaving a trace of what it had seemingly eaten. “Now that sounds like a good way t’ spend an afternoon, eh?” He replied as he felt the shockwave of the grenade sweep them by.
His state was casual, as if what was happening around him was the natural state of affairs. He pressed a contemplative hand to his chin, stroked it as he pondered plans. By this time, Eden was overhead. With the soundings of gunfire, Loki walked just a little ways outside of the alleyway. To the bodies he saw dropping onto the ground, fated to lay motionless in pools of their own blood, his fiery fox companion crept near, consuming the body of bluish fire until nothing remained.
Its head moved about, eyeless, but searching with some variety of sight all the same. It locked in on the next fallen body, but it would have its work cut out for it. Loki’s eyes shone a bright blue as it darted from one fallen body to the other, consuming it and moving on as a streak of devilish blue. “I like this,” he muttered to himself. “What I don’t like, I’ll consume and erase…”
