Taeko sat drumming her fingers on the table, she had been enjoying a nice snack at a picnic bench in the park when a strange man had sat down across from her. The bench was large, easily able to fit 20 people when filled and a few people were sitting around her. At first she wasn't sure if the strange man was talking to her or the young blue female sitting close to her. The man had went on about finding a lost treasure that his weird group held sacred and at first Taeko was thinking of ignoring the crazy man, but when he offered ten million Zeni her interest was perked. That would buy a lot of Saiyan sized meals.
Taeko took a large bite of the sandwich she had been eating as she contemplated the man across from her. She had never heard of this Satan but for ten million Zeni she was willing to find out. She swallowed the bite and looked at the stranger.
"So, how would I find the hideout? Do you have an exact address or even a general direction?"
The man slid a bit of paper across the table between her and the kid sitting next to her. She still had no clue if he was fully talking to her or not but she didn't care either way. "This is the address of the building. As I said, we would prefer your retrieval of the relic to be peaceful, but we won't penalize you if something happens. Our Lord Mr. Satan did fight to save us after all."
Taeko leaned across the table to look over the paper. The building was in a wear house district two cities over. She had visited that city a few months ago and had been warned away from that area by at least a dozen people.
"We hope to be seeing you and the belt in a week" with that the man got up and left, the paper sitting on the table still. Taeko was not sure why the man had chosen her for this quest. Perhaps he could sense her power level or her Saiyan tail had given her away, she really wasn't sure. It was odd, but Taeko was not going to question such a rich reward.
She looked over at the kid and smirked "Hey, you feel up for a bit of an adventure and some zeni to line your pocket?"
Taeko had a BAD habit of inviting strangers on dangerous adventure. She was NOT a responsible adult, but she was a Saiyan and Saiyan were fighters. Strangers liked to fight right? Adventures are fun so it shouldn't be a big issue for this strange woman to join her in this adventure.

Liari sat along side the strange woman at this picnic table, munching on some candy she brought along in the meanwhile! Why was she here exactly? MONEY! Without it, how would she EVER get her daily intake of 20 pounds of sugar!? More importantly, how would she help support her family back in the city? Even though Laezi worked day and night for their little sister, it was a FULL TIME JOB tending to a baby majin! And that was why she was here today with somebody she had absolutely no prior experiences with! Work! Was it not the great unifier? The two just about kept to themselves the entire time they waited for the representative of their job to arrive, the little blue majin both too enthralled with her little candy bag but also somewhat cautious when it came to her. As far as she could tell, she was keeping to herself first and Liari would HATE it if her first impressions were ruined because she couldn't keep to herself! Nah... To occupy herself, Liari started imagining fights between her in this woman, fantasizing about all the ways they could come to blows! Mutual punches to the cheek, kicks to the stomach... Of course, all the fights ended with her standing over the much taller woman, but it wasn't like she didn't get some good licks in herself! Where was the tension of your opponent wasn't nearly as good as you were? Ah... good times... She was on her third or fourth scenerio by the time the man arrived, Liari practically hopping up, squatting on her seat curiously as he laid out the details! "A... belt...?" She tilted her head, confused. Weren't those that leather strap-thing people used to keep their pants from falling off? They were paying THAT much money for a BELT? Granted, it belonged to Satan, the devil, god-bane, the truest manifestation of EVIL as Liari understood it! How did she know of that!? Her older sister was well versed in earth culture! She heard stories! Still... one million was a pretty penny... Even if she was sharing it with ms. person-lady beside her... Liari could only imagine how many ice-creams she could buy with one million... She let her business partner do all the talking and information gathering while she started doing some quick maths in her head regarding candy, ice-cream and the like! Liari only snapped out of it as she noticed the Man leaving, her silver eyes glancing over at Taeko as she asked if she was ready to EARN that reward! Darn-tootin' she was!
"Yuh huh!" She agreed with a wide, warm smile. "So... What are we doing again?"

Taeko looked at the strange blue woman beside her and raised an eyebrow. Apparently, she hadn't been paying any attention to their employer. "We are going to a building to try to get a belt back for the weirdo and his club of fanatics."
For a moment Taeko observed the stranger. She looked like a Majin, but was blue. Odd, Taeko hadn't ever seen a blue Majin before... but she had only seen a handful of Majins in her whole life so maybe it wasn't so odd. Perhaps they had different skin color like humans did. Most Saiyans all looked rather similar unless they were hybrids. Oh well, what the woman looked like didn't really matter that much to her.
"So, before we get started maybe we should introduce ourselves. I mean, it is kind of hard to work together when you are just saying 'hey you' instead of their name. I'm Taeko."
Taeko finished off her sandwich in two large bites then stood up from the bench. She hummed as opened the bit of paper again, the building seemed to be located on the other side of town. Looking at the blue woman she was curious if she knew how to fly. Most fighters now days knew how to fly, but the odd few didn't. Deciding to test the waters instead of flat out asking Taeko lifted herself off the ground hovering about a foot in the air. "Ready to earn ten million zeni?"

Well... She HEARD what she was supposed to do, but she didn't quite understand WHY they were doing it. One million zeni... for a BELT? That was perhaps the most funny job she's ever been asked to do but it was certainly better than looking for a lost cat all day! Liari took this moment to look at her opponent, finding her somewhat funny lookin'! Her hair specifically, something like a long Mohawk of dark hair and her outfit was pretty funny too! By all means, she was somebody Liari should laugh at but then... that wouldn't have been nice, would it? Besides, why would she want to mock somebody she'd be working with? She knew from experience how hard it was to do anything with someone who hated you. Thinking back, the little blue majin remembered a time when her younger sibling absolutely refused to help her make dinner because it wasn't something she liked... It took a lot of persuading and bribes in the form of a bigger dessert but eventually, she got her to work with her!.... Reluctantly. It was almost as frustrating as if she hadn't helped at all! In fact, it might've been more because every time she asked for something, Terra threw it like it was a ki-blast! How were they supposed to make dinner if they refused to communicate!?
MORAL OF THE STORY: Be nice to your partner! Doing anything else will make both your jobs harder.
"Hiya Take-O!" She greeted, trying her best to say her name right! "I'm Liari! Nice to meetcha!" She leaned over and reached out, giving the sayainess a warm hug. Why? As a sign of their friendship, of course! The little blue majin didn't have many friends that she could count on so she was always in the market to make more! In her mind, giving someone a hug was the best way to do it! It was a sign of trust... of unity... but most of all, it was warm and comfy! After a second or two, Liari would retract herself, slipping off the bench and hovering up beside her new work-partner!
"Heehee! YUP!" She agreed! She was ready to make that MOO-LAH! "But... Where are we going and who are we gonna beat up?" She asked. A job wasn't a job if they didn't get to knock out some nasties! "We gonna fight robots? Scary aliens? Mutant chickens!?" Each suggestion kept getting more and more extreme. Could you blame her? She was excited!

"Nice to meet you Liari." Taeko was surprised by the hug Liari gave her, at first her body stiffened and her tail bristled, but after a second she relaxed. She didn't return the hug, per say, but she didn't reject it. Hugging was not a Saiyan thing, but Taeko understood that other species did things differently so she tried not to offend the small blue woman. "Um, well, the address that weirdo gave me was for a warehouse on the other side of town. Now, he said he really wanted it to be a peaceful retrieval but a thief who calls a warehouse home doesn't seem like the kind of person who just hands over something if you ask nicely. I'm guessing that the thief is human, but I don't know. The dude in the hat didn't really give specifics."Taeko sighed, the energetic Majin might not be the easiest partner to work with but it wouldn't be horrible, she hoped. At least the little Majin appeared to have some power, so if they did come end up having to fight she had some backup. Someone to watch your back is a luxury at times. Taeko just hoped she could trust the woman. It would have been better if the strange man had chosen someone she already knew and trusted. For now, she would have to give Liari the benefit of the doubt and hope that she didn't double cross her or only watch out for her own safety if they got into a dangerous situation. "You ready to go Liari. Let's go get the scrap of leather for the strange cult and get our money." With that she took off towards the other side of town, flying at a slow pace so that Liari could keep up with her. Word Count: 300 Majin Liari

Liari tilted her head to the side as she looked up, noticing how uncomfortable Taeko looked. What, she didn't like hugs? Who didn't like HUGS!? Hmph. If that's how she was gonna be, then maybe they really couldn't be friends. That heresy was something the little blue majin wouldn't and couldn't abide by!
BUT! That didn't mean they couldn't work together! She quickly retreated from the sayain woman, floating up with her into the air. The Majin again, tilted her head thoughtfully as she was informed as to the preferred nature of their retrieval and the location of it, wondering... WHY WOULD HE CHOOSE A WAREHOUSE? It didn't make much sense to her... Why not some place out of the way and nobody ever goes like a sewer or some place inconspicuous? Has movies not taught their thief anything!? Everybody goes to the warehouses first! She knew one thing for certain: If she was gonna thieve, she woulda hidden way down in the bowels of the city where nobody understood it's maze-like pipes like her. She sighed and shrugged, somewhat disappointed with this mission. No fighting... no real looking because they already know where their guy was... Heck, they couldn't even beat up the guy that took the belt in the first place! How, oh HOW was Liari supposed to get her fighting in for the day??
"...Mhm." She grumbled as she rose up higher in the air, trailing behind the older Sayain woman her arms crossed in disgust. Well... at least she was getting paid for this good deed. That was nice, she supposed. There was just some big dissatisfaction surrounding this event as a whole... Why not hurt the guy? Why make it a peaceful exchange? Something was wrong here... She couldn't help but feel that this wasn't something simple. Even a child could notice how uncharacteristically generous this Mr. Satan fanatic was when it came to the prize belts!

Taeko flew through the air, her thoughts running similar to Liari’s. She was very suspicious about the request. Why would the strange cult commission her and Liari and then tell them to not fight unless they have to. Saiyans and Majins were both races known for their fighting prowess. That was like asking wolves to guard a flock of sheep, pure temptation. Her eyes scanned the ground as they flew. The buildings were getting darker, dirtier, and the crowd had dissipated.
Finally, she spotted the building that the thieves supposedly were hiding in. She landed in an alley a few buildings away and waited for Liari. They needed to make a game plan, maybe Lairi had some ideas on how to take on the mission.
“I really don’t have a good feeling about this Liari, what do you think?”
Her tail curled behind her as she looked out from the alley towards the building. She watched as two large men walked into the building talking. Neither seemed like fighters but that didn’t mean anything, many humans knew how to suppress their power levels.
Her tail curled back and forth as she pondered what to do next. Her eyes shifted to the little blue Majin and she sighed.
“Why would the weird cult guy hire two fighters, especially a Saiyan and a Majin, for a peaceful retrieval mission. I think he is either crazy or this is a trap.”

Liari landed beside her sayain companion, the woman seeming to also notice that something was off with this mission. Liari looked up at her thoughtfully, her eyes squinted in contemplation as she looked out towards the warehouse they were supposed to raid. If the guy didn't want them to hurt the thief AND retrieve his belt, there could only be one explanation in the Majin's mind: "He has something the guy wants." The little blue majin mused, gently massaging her chin with her fingers. "If he really real want his belt back, then he'd have no problem with us beating him up a little! That makes me think he's got something else on him that this guy wants... Something this guy has on him that he doesn't want broken! That's the only reason!" She lightly tapped her palm with her fist in satisfaction of her own response, looking up at the older woman for praise of her intelligent deduction! Sure, her brain hurt from all that complex brain-usage, but it was ALL worth it if it showed just how smart she could be! Anyone that said majin were stupid had NEVER met one like Liari! Sure, she was a kid sometimes and had all the finesse and grace of a drunken ogre, but hey! She was all smart and stuff! "Why he wouldn't tell us about it though is weird... Me thinks he's got plan he's not telling us... I dunno what though..." The majin shrugged her shoulders heavily and huffed, frustrated she actually had to use that noggin she had! It was too HARD! She just wanted to go in there and punch some people, not think on WHY she shouldn't do it! What good was a job if people didn't need a good cheek-punching??? "I say we just beat the guy up!" She voted, raising her hand over her head to show it! "Boss didn't tell us not too, just that he'd 'like' us to be all nice and stuff! Me thinks we should show the thief guy what's what and why we don't steel belts from strange old-guys!"

Taeko stood watching Liari for a moment. She made a lot of sense and Taeko gave an encouraging smile to the blue Majin. Reaching out Taeko patted the younger female’s shoulder with an encouraging smile. Taeko might be a little iffy about hugs, they did allow someone to have unprotected access to venerable parts, but she was not against physical contact.
“You make a good point Liari. I’m pretty sure that the crazy cult guy wants something else hidden in that creepy warehouse.”
She crossed her arms over her chest, her tail flicking behind her as she thought over the situation. “I think that the belt might be a distraction. Get us focused on one item and taking care of the thief while the cult guy sends someone else in to grab the item he is after.”
She looked at the little Majin, wondering her thoughts on the distraction idea.
“I agree that we rough the thug up a bit, but we still need to be careful. We don’t want to break whatever it is that is really valuable. If we do this right we might be able to earn more than the ten million zeni crazy guy is offering.”
Taeko purred in excitement. This could be a lot of fun and worth a little extra cash. They just needed to make a good plan on how to demolish the thief without breaking everything around them.

Liari smiled widely as her companion agreed that the evidence seemed to stack up the way she was presenting, though they needed a plan to take the guy out without destroying everything else inside. Better safe than sorry, right? Weeeeeelll... Being safe took out all the FUN! Liari couldn't play if she was constantly trying to keep the guy from tipping over a pot or flying through supports while she punched him around the warehouse! She audiably groaned as she put her good ol' noodle to work once again, this time focusing on planning more than deducing logic... So much HARDER to plaaaaaaaaaaaan! Every time she had to do this, it was like adding carbonation to an already shaken soda! It only built up more and more pressure inside the little gummy creature until BOOM! Stuff started 'splodin!
"Well... If he's not strong, we just knock him out and drag him and the belt back to the guy!" Liari offered with a heavy sigh of reluctance, growing more and more antsy by the second. "If he is, we just lure him outside and fight him out here... or somewhere else! If whatever the boss wants isn't on him, then we want to get him out of the house!"
ALRIGHT! That was enough thinking on the majin's part. It's Taeko's turn to start thinking about things! If she stood there for another minute contemplating about what could and could not be, the little blue majin would go INSANE! She was already uncomfortably shifting from foot to foot, eager to go inside and get this job done and over with! Her patience wasn't one of Liari's strong suit and it was already reaching it's painfully short end! She had waited for at least 5 minutes explaining all of this to the sayain (which was already kinda weird since Sayains were supposed to be punchers, not thinkers) so that meant she should be rewarded with a fight!
"Can we go in there nooooow?" She whined, pointing over towards the warehouse! "Pleeeeease? I want to punch him already and we've been talking for sooooooo LONG!"

Taeko smiled at the small Majin woman. A little destruction never hurt anyone... too much. They could always just take whatever it was to the crazy cult guy in pieces and ask for less. Their only read task was to retrieve the belt, if they demolished the whole building a belt should still be in one piece, right? Nodding her head in agreement to her inner monolog she smirked at Liari and gestured towards the building.
"Sounds like you have this all thought out Liari, let's go get the belt and have a little fun while doing it. We just have to try not to set the building on fire or blow it to bits. The belt should be ok, anything else is just extra."
She purred at the thought what could be a fun battle and her tail lashed in excitement behind her. Taeko gestured for the Majin to follow her as she walked out of the alley and towards the building. As she approached she noticed a few cameras were seemingly following their movement. With a smirk she lifted her hand and fired off a ki blast at them, blowing them up. If that didn’t draw the bad guys out then nothing would.
The explosion seemed to have drawn some attention because two thugs tumbled out of the open door way. None of them seemed to have any above average power level. Taeko appeared to disappeare and reappear infront of the two thugs. She reached up knocking their heads together hard enough that they both crumpled to the ground. She hadn’t killed them but they should be down for the count for a while.
She easily stepped over them and reached out opening the door. At this point she had still not felt any high level power levels coming from the building so she stepped through the door confidently. The warehouse was full of crates, hundreds of them stacked around the room. Some appeared to be empty and waiting to be filled, some had the tops open, reveling bits of electronics, and others were sealed tight ready to be shipped across the world or universe.
There were also at least a dozen humans working around the building. Some stopped to see the strange women who had entered but most just kept working, apparently used to people coming and going frequently.
A voice rose above the den of working people calling out to Taeko and Lairi “Who are you?”
Taeko smirked turning towards a group of four men standing over a table near the center of the building.
“No one in particular, just some travelers who are looking for some unique fashion items. I was thinking my friend here could use a belt… but not just any belt, an old belt that is big, gaudy, and leather, do you happen to have anything in her size?”
The men seemed to be shocked for a moment before they yelled and pulled out a few weapons. With a smirk Taeko looked at Liari gesturing at the people and around the building.
“Looks like we might be in for a little fun Liari! You ready to find this belt?”

Liari nodded heavily, grinning as her sayain companion noted her intelligence and agreed with her plan, the majin EASILY going along with the conditions she set up! "Uh huh! Uh huh!" She giggled! "I can do that! No burning or blowing up the warehouse! 'Kay!" Taeko was quick to dispatch of the outward defenses of the warehouse, first destroying the cameras before them, then dealing with the personnel that had been sent to deal with the intrusion! The little blue majin made no attempt to interfere and, in fact, merely watched from a short distance back with amusement! She liked watching her partner work! It was so graceful but to the point to! No beating around the bush for her! Uh-uh! No Siree, she was alllll business! The two of them entered the warehouse, the place surprisingly more well-kept than it looked on the outside! From without, it appeared as a crumbling mass of wood and such but within... The place was well lit and organized, narry a speck of dust on the concrete floor or the many shipping crates that stacked high. Those that worked here were big and muscly, wearing all sorts of gear from those rubbery glove things to plastic yellow hats... Nothing too threatening! Every so often, Liari would discover something pretty or shiny just... sitting out there... Rings, small colorful gems of infinite sizes, cuts and shapes... and every so often, when she was sure Taeko wasn't watching, she'd pocket them... No harm in stealing from the stealers! It was like... reverse stealing or something! ... She didn't know nor did she much care! She wanted it, it was out in the open, it was hers! Speaking of being out in the open, the two girls didn't make much of an effort to hide themselves among the various crates, simply walking up in plain view of the workers! But even so... Liari was surprised to find that not one of them stopped them, asked for some kind of ID or whatever villains did when someone weird-looking entered their compound! She couldn't help but giggle quietly to herself as each worker passed them by, unknowing of their true motives... She felt like some kinda super spy! Yes, she didn't have the suit on nor the cool glasses but just as well! She hated those monkey suits... But seriously though! It was so cool to know that she had their dirty little secret and they didn't know she knew! Made her feel EEEEEVEN SMARTER! ...And then the ball dropped. One finally seemed to get that both she and Taeko didn't belong here, in this den of thieves, asking what their purpose was. "Yeah!" Liari agreed, her smile growing wider and wider by the second. "Belt! Big leather pants thing! Need one!" That gottem... The little blue majin's eyes flicked up to the Sayain's as she asked if she was READY for fun and her response, a soft poke in the side.
"Duh!" She chuckled, stamping her foot so hard it smashing through the hard flooring! "They all get beaten up!" Suddenly her foot would shoot out from under one of the workers at least several meters away, smashing him in the chin and knocking him flat! Liari then leveled a hand at another charging towards them with a metal wrench thingy, an invisible pressure-wave shooting out and sending him crashing into several more of his buddies! Taeko wouldn't have to worry about the head-start though! There were plenty to go around!

Taeko practically vibrated as the thugs charged for the attack. She watched at Liari took on the first of the muscular humans. For a moment Taeko nearly got lost in the thrill of the fight, but her attention was diverted as one of the men shuffled backward.
He didn’t seem to be ready to jump into the fight, and that made Taeko curious. She smirked as she joined in the fray. She swiftly swatted the weak human fighters aside like they were flies. This was not very fun, and the thugs should give up and just hand over the belt.
A man stood apart from the others; he watched the fight with a nervous look in his eyes. This drew Takeo’s attention and curiosity. She knew the man was up to something, but the arrogant Saiyan side of her wanted to see what the man would do.
“Why don’t you just give up and hand over the belt,” Taeko called to the man who wasn’t fighting.
He shuffled back a few feet before turning slightly and reaching out. He hit something on the wall, and a loud alarm began sounding around the room. The hair on the back of Taeko’s neck stood on end when from the other side of the warehouse a loud thump and crash sounded.
“Sorry toots, you ain’t getting your mitts on that belt!” the thug yelled a devious smile crossing his face.
A groan escaped Taeko as another figure appeared from between the crates. He was wearing a strange suit of power armor. It looked different from the standard set seen around. This must be an experimental model.
“Oh Liari, I think we might have some real fun after all” an excited purr escaped Taeko in anticipation of a good fight.
The fighter stomped towards the pair cackling like a madman.
“Oh, I’m gonna enjoy this” boasted the man in the armor.
Taeko shot towards the man in the armor ready to put him down just as easily as the rest of the thugs. She couldn’t sense much power coming from him. Before she could hit him, he punched her in the gut, sending her flying across the warehouse and into a wall.
Taeko slid to the ground out of breath. How had that weak human hit so hard? The armor must be strong.
She stood up growling “Careful Liari, I think that armor might be what we are looking for.”

Liari was SHREDDING through these guys like.... something that shreds something else! She didn't know! The point was, every guy that attempted to stand in her way got punched, thrown or blasted into unconsciousness by the giddy, go-lucky majin! It would've been BORING had there been any less of them but with how many were swarming her, she could actually release a few restraints to keep up! Little did she notice, however, Taeko was having trouble with the thief himself, seeing as he had just hopped into a suit of armor of some kind! With the last random worker thrown to the ground, his arm dislocated by the majin, Liari turned back in time to see Taeko go FLYING across the warehouse, and into one of the many walls, practically crumpling it around her back! The little blue majin blinked, seeing her older friend dismissed so easily, but a defiant smile arched across her lips as she tried to warn her! "He's mine!" She declared, pointing a finger at the armored figure! "ALLLL MIIIIINE!" She charged down the armored suit with an overly excited... perhaps slightly unhinged-sounding cackle, throwing a fist RIGHT at his visor! *CRACK!*"Nnnnngh...!" Liari grunted, her knuckles planted FIRMLY against the man's face, her arm struggling and twitching as she tried to push through his helmet, the armored thief just standing there, staring at her from within the safety of his suit! A long nerve protruded up the majin's arm as she pushed harder and harder, trying to make SOME kind of noticeable difference, frustrated by how little her own attacks were doing to him! "GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" She roared, her pink aura flaring up all around her! Her power SPIKED, her strength grew massively! She cocked her fist back again, hurling it towards his head... Only for his hand to shoot up and catch it mid-attack, his other hand appearing out of nowhere and clenching at her head and holding her up by her tentacles and snapping her out of her aura instantly!
"Hey! OOOOOOOWWW!" She protested, her legs kicking wildly underneath her as her hands instantly shot up to attempt and pry his fingers loose!... Useless. "Letmegoletmegoletmegole-"
*POW*
A metal fist drilled into Liari's cheek as the Thief threw a devastating punch into her jaw, practically knocking the lights out of her in just one blow! Her eyes almost instantly went dead as she SHOT from the man's hand, skidding along the floor until she herself stopped RIGHT at Taeko's feet! if she attempted to discern whether or not she was okay, Liari would look up at her, unfocused, smiling very shakily.
"Why the rooooooom spiiiiiinin'.....?" She groaned, not even bothering to get up. "And why there so many of ya...? I didn't know you knew the multiform..."

Taeko looked down at the smaller female that had landed at her feet. A low rumbling growl escaped her as her eyes darted towards the thug, who was laughing and seemed to be celebrating his victory over the two fighters.
“Sorry Liari, I don’t know multiform yet. The pathetic human knocked your head something good. Don’t worry Liari, we’ll pay him back for that.”
She reached forward sending a powerful ki blast at the still chuckling man. At this point she almost didn’t care about the damn belt any more or any extra money. The man had to pay for being an overconfident fool.
“You slimy, worthless human. Laugh it up but without that damn suit we would have already painted the walls with your blood and guts!”
The thug knocked away the ki blast as if it was nothing. Looking at the arm of the suit a little damage could be seen from the energy blast. Apparently, this model was made more for the physical strength aspects. Most like it wasn’t made for fighting but for doing heavy lifting. It had a basic ki shield but it was weak enough with a little work that could possibly be the chink in the literal armor.
Taeko looked at Liari wondering if the blue majin had observed the same thing she had. She didn’t know Liari’s strengths but she hoped that some of it was in ki manipulation. With a good plan they could possibly take this guy out without destroying everything… but at this point Taeko didn’t care if the whole building was a pile of rubble when it was all said and done, as long as the over confident thug was destroyed.

Liari groaned softly, pushing herself back up into a sitting position as Taeko unleashed a blast of energy at the armored theif... only for it to be promptly dismissed. blasting a nasty mark against the arm he used to deflect it... Blinking a couple times to get the stars out of her vision, the little blue majin spotted the damage upon the mettle, a hand shooting up to stroke her chin in thought... and not because of the smack across the face she just got. Slowly staggering back up to her feet and... trying not to imagine the gruesome image her sayain companion threw out there, Liari began thinking again...
Yeah, she knew that it was a habit she REALLY needed to break but now wasn't the time... She stared at the armor, then at Taeko, then back at the armor, all the while the thief just LAUGHING it up over there. Hmmmm... If her friend could do that much damage to him with just that little a blast... What could she do if she charged up her energy...? The little blue Majin glanced up at her taller ally and it seemed that she was having similar thoughts just judging by the expression on her face. Oh goody! It would spare her from having to explain anything! Liari was gonna have to act as a distraction while Taeko charged her ultimate attack... That might've not sounded so bad if most attacks didn't take a whole 5 minutes to summon. On top of that, considering he kicked their butts in less than one...
"Ugh... I can handle it!" Liari grumbled, her aura flaring up again. "You get your attack ready! I'll hold him off!" Without waiting for any kind of response, the little blue majin charged right in, throwing a barrage of punches upon the man's chest-plate, all of which were met with less than substantial give! In fact, the armored figure only stood there and stared as Liari waled and waled on his chest, not at all disturbed by her attacks. It was a whole minute before he even did anything about it, his metal hand shooting out to grab Liari by her throat and bringing her attack barrage to a sickening halt!
"GAAAK!" She cried in surprise, the strength of his hand around her throat forcing her to gag, her mouth wide open to gasp for the air that would never reach her lungs. It was not long after his fist DUG into her stomach, forcing out another agonizing cough from the majin... Punch after punch bombarded her rubbery body, beating the consciousness out of her and none-to-subtly either! With each blow, the little blue majin's body fell a little more slack, with each strike digging through her form, she felt her strength flee her... But she had to cling on... She had to last...
