Pricotta - Shale might not know her name, but she seems nice. She became a form of friend with her shortly after this little thread:

So far, she's a fan of this "Theyn". She bought her beer. Since then, she's become a fighter she respects as well, even if she relies on tech to do so.

Lieutenant Purum - Reminded Carmine about the hat, which pissed him off, but hey, reminded her to get a new hat. the important thing is that they're also sort of friends now. Shale's made a mental note for herself to teach that girl how to handle her liquor.

Polaris - Doesn't know him, but was happy to break his stuff

Ryce - a dark monk. she lets him meditate on her ship, though he's been quiet after their last battle.

Tamago - she's hilarious! Allows a bit more of Shale's pure pieces to show themselves

Enemies

Will - while he seems more of a rival than an enemy, Shale knows better than to underestimate the cat's potential. The feeling seems to be mutual...

Carol - a one-night stand, but... an enjoyable one.



NPCS



Marie - a blonde magic user from earth, Shale and Marisa used to be very, very close with eachother. Unfortunately, they were on a break when the incident happened, and since then Shale knows damn well better than to get close. If there's one thing the book of Nightmares wants, it's to eliminate every trace of her former life, and if there's one line Shale refuses to cross, it's this one. Can fire big fucking lasers.


Coral - one of her fellow archaeologists on that fated dig, Coral's trying desperately to track Shale down with her partner Khloe, and wants to find a way to end the nightmare for her former friend. She's a determined, optimistic woman, and retains hope that there's a way to separate Shale from the sheer damage the ancient magic of the book has caused.


Khloe - another archaeologist on the dig, She agreed to a decision Shale made while studying the book - that if she snapped, too, it would be best for Khloe to kill her. She is sadly willing to honor this commitment, though she keeps this goal a secret from Coral, her travelling partner.

Carmine - Former lover of sorts, or at least friends with benefits, Shale admired a lot about Carmine - she was happy she'd met someone with a similar darkness in their past to her.

She wasn't so happy when she had to blow the southern murderer's head-off, and he wasn't too happy about being forced into his killer's head.

They have a mildly friendly relationship, if only because they're literally stuck with eachother, and while trying to take the wheel and kill Shale might be fun... Carmine's not too into feeling the pain of death again, and besides, they might actually find a way to bring him back at some point. if one pops up, he'll be sure to steer Shale at it with all the power at his disposal.

Reisen. Khloe's girlfriend. apparently picked up some new tricks while Shale was gone. trying to bring her in for her shit. Shale's opposed.
