Just curious since we are already using actual R/L time to learn techniques how about we also rank them up the same way. Just a suggestion let me know you guys opinion.

The reason I removed mastery point cost to learn techniques is because people were avoiding them in favor of building their skills up. That led to boring battles where people used one tech the entire time.
The reason I kept ranks costing mastery points is to retain some growth and progression using them. Once you max out your skills and traits, then its unlocking all your tech slots and ranking your techs up. After that... all that is left is spending it on treasure and power level.
I want to stretch out progression and the usefulness of mastery points.
