Was there one thing that truly bother the Saiya-Jin called Dain? He had everything he had ever dreamed of as a kid. Power, wealth, influence. He was born as a lowly Saiya-Jin warrior and was never expected to have any of those things. He was born to fight and die for the Saiya-Jin empire. That he rose far above those expectations was not entirely his own doing. Due to the meddling of aliens he now was immortal and had over a thousand years to gather everything. Though it would be bad form to write of his own efforts. He worked truly hard for everything he was and owned. He was the leader of the Ravagers, an organization of independent fighters, mercenaries, bounty hunter -the whole lot, that equaled the empire in raw strength. His flagship the Atrioch was one of the biggest war cruisers ever build. He owned a planet and a space station the size of a planet. His wealth could barely be described in numbers and he held enough influence on most important planets to start or quell a revolution. So what could he truly desire? The answer was simple. To talk. He simply wanted to talk with someone who might understand him. Sadly such opportunities did not come quite as often as one might expect. Not even for someone as old and influential as the Saiya-Jin. In fact in the last years he barely managed to get a few words in with the guardian of Earth, Xell, but the two barely had the time to truly talk. Still Dain was not one to give up easily. The one good thing about being immortal was that he had learned patience and his luck was about to be rewarded. He was just sitting in his private room aboard the Atrioch, sipping a fine whiskey while reading the latest report about a race called the ancients. -recently most his private time and effort went into researching that highly advanced race that suddenly vanished roughly fifty thousand years ago- Dain was just about to put down the report with a deep sigh, as it had revealed nothing new, when suddenly his communicator beeped. It was a direct call, which surprised him, as in the entire universe perhaps several hundred had the number and all of them knew better then to bother him. Curios he picked up the communicator, while tossing the report in the fire. Of course the report was still there, as all finding it had come in digitally. The reason he had it printed was because he was a bit old fashioned and preferred reading from paper, rather then digitally. His eyebrow raised slightly as he read the name of the sender. It came from brother Amtro, a librarian of the holy order of Xelitos. While Dain could give less about holy orders in general, this one was about gathering all the information in the universe. In fact the planet Scientia was not a true planet at all. It was a library the size of a star similar to Jupiter in size. Not only did Dain support them, both with financial and military aid, in the deepest core of the library was his own personal room. It contained his memory diaries -an unfortunate thing about a mortal brain and an immortal life: his memories eventually faded, so he had to write them down- perhaps his most precious possession of all. Now in three hundred years the brothers had never bothered to message him directly, their contact had always been strictly business, so his interest was raised. As they agreed there was only one reason they were allowed to contact him directly. As soon as he opened the message he was proven right. A grin appeared on his face as he placed two fingers on his forehead, just before he vanished from his room. A Kai had been sighted in the library. Or at least someone capable of reading the divine language of the Shinjin. Which was said to be impossible unless you were a Kai, as the divine KI was needed for the words to appear in the first place. For a normal mortal -and even to Dain- the book simply seemed empty. The next moment Dain appeared in front of brother Amtro. Wearing his gray robe, black spandex pants and wooded sandals, he seemed to startle the man. Or perhaps it was the sword at his hip. For a moment Dain thought about it, before undoing the clasp and throwing the belt holding the sword towards the brother. “Take care of this for me.” He said before taking of. He had no desire to talk with the brother and from the look on the man´s face the feeling was mutual. Luckily he had no need. Even if the monk could not confirm it, Dain could. In a heart beat. The guy down the hall way, standing in one of the many corridors of blank books, perusing one of them, had no KI. In fact Dain could not even sense the man was there at all. It was like an empty void. Bingo! He thought to himself as he began to walk towards the young man, his black hair swaying softly due to his pace. “Excuse me. My name is Dain Sincara and I know this is a bit sudden, but would you mind to talk with me for a moment? There is something I would like to discuss with… a god.” He said, putting a bit of emphasis on the last words, hoping to draw the man´s attention by knowing what he was. Hyperion’s ear’s would perk up as he heard a voice call from his attention approaching fast his signature smile that was always in place stood firm , his saphire eyes would lock with dain as he became within arms reach. The snowy haired god would roll reroll the scroll he had been scrying recently handling it with the utmost care , he would then turn to dain and give him a short but meaningful bow. This show of respect was hardly common amongst the new breed of gods , of today all acting like the universe owes them something because of their status. He would stand up straight the dim white glow that emanated from his body would shine onto nearby objects , if one where not paying attention you wouldn't notice his ethereal glow. “It would be a pleasure Lord Sincara , but please don't call me a god in public despite it being a fact” he’d whisper the last part to Dain hoping he would understand. Being a kai a god came with perc’s but it also came with people trying to be boot licks , not out of admiration but fear. He would then turn his head and point to what appeared to be a reading table piled high with scrolls and books , each book was about some species unknown origin or hostile planets. Hyperion would keep his loving smile on as it never fades , “join me over there i know it looks dis-orderly but i promise they’re actually organized and stacked or?...” he would pause letting dain fill in the blank if he so wished if not he would continue speaking “...we could change scenery entirely” he’d state wanting dane to be comfortable. Dain simply nodded at the man´s request. “Only if you don´t call me lord.” He said with a gentle smile, understanding the man completely. Even if technically correct, he did not like it to be called by his title. It drew too much attention. Now that he was up close Dain could see the light coming from the man´s body. It was faint, but it was there. The weird thing was though that he still did not feel anything coming from the man. Strange though, if the man knew who he was, he did not show the appropriate reaction. Fear. Or rather for once he was shown the appropriate reaction, respect. Sometimes it was hard for Dain to keep straight what was proper. He already liked the guy for that and the next comment cemented it for him. “Yeah, no worries. I am also organized like that.” He said as he let out a thundering laugh, deciding at the very least the man was to his liking. The next question caught him off guard a bit. It was rare that people honestly seemed to think about his feelings. This man seemed to care though and a gentle smile appeared on Dain´s face as he nodded. “Thank you and I might take you up on that offer…” He said slowly as he considered his options. It was true he did not mind talking right there and then, but it was true this place was not very secret. Even if this particular section did not get as much visitors as the others, there were still people passing through all the time and librarians dashing along with carts full of books they were returning. “If you would please follow me then… uhm would you mind telling me your name? I don´t mind not calling you by your title, but calling you `guy´ seems to be a bit too much either.” He said as he winked the man towards an elevator near the corner of the room, just as he realized he did not catch the Kai´s name. As they got into the elevator, Dain pressed his finger against the zero button and held it there for a good ten seconds. Unknown to most the elevator had a secret floor. Aside from the eight hundred normally available -and that was just the upper layer of the planet sized library- it could go to a secret point the librarians used to move easily through their library. Though to reach it you have to hold the zero button for a while and then have the device behind it scan your DNA to unlock the destination. As far as he knew only the librarians and a handful of VIP guests were programmed in. A moment later the elevator soared into action, traveling downward at seven times the speed of sound, reaching their floor only half a minute after that. “Okay I hope that was not too bad. We still have a while to go. Dain said as the exitted the elevator only to enter an endless corridor filled with elevator, leading all over the place. Some went up, some went down, others moved diagonal. It was enough to make Dain very glad he was not the janitorial staff of this place or the maintenance team. They were not headed towards any of the visible elevators though. Instead they walked several hundred meters, turned right a few times to finally stand in front of a gigantic book stand full of the manuals and guides containing the planet. With practiced ease he imediately spotted what he was looking for and pulled out a yellow manual, before quickly putting it back. A click could be heard, followed by the winding sounds of gears as the book stand slid open dead in the middle, revealing a secret elevator behind it. Once inside Dain entered the thirty two digit pass code and the elevator began to soar further downward until it finally stopped after a few minutes. “Sorry about this, next time we can take the direct tour.” He said with a clumsy grin as they exited the elevator, only to be greeted by several guards and other security measure. A full body scan revealed it was in fact Dain and he was allowed true into the main operational chamber of the library, almost directly at the core of the planet. It was filled with countless screen and computers. In fact the core was so massive it could actually outweigh the core of a planet like Earth and it´s computers and manned staff where always full at work. “Hey guys. Just a quick visit.” Dain said jovially as he raised his hand, though almost none of the monks even batted an eye, focused on their job. “Don´t mind them, for them it is almost a sacred job to gather intel on new books and make sure none are smuggled out of here.” Dain said with a shrug as he turned to the Kai. Next he led them through a few corridors into the room that was specially installed for him. There where no doors or walls and the entire thing was made of several meters thick layers of enhanced Katching and forcefields. The only way to get in was to be teleported by the computer, which would only do so for his unique DNA sequence. Of course any guests accompanying him would be allowed in as well under direct orders. “So here we are. This might be the only room in the whole library where we could talk without anyone hearing us.” Dain said with a grin as he lead the Kai to two comfortable seats in the middle of the room. Between them was a small table, where quickly some food and drinks appeared as Dain sat down. “Can I offer you some tea and russian tea cookies?” He said with a gentle smile as he nodded at the steaming teapot and tray of cookies. If one where to look around, it would be quite easy to tell why this room was so well protected. The room contained all the files regarding an ancient race that long vanished from the universe. Their technology and culture so far ahead of anything the current generation had to offer, it was mind boggling. In accordance to their agreement it was the only bit of information the librarians would not store in the library, but file here. Making it the only known place in the universe with such an amount of information on that ancient race. Of course… even that room was only a front. Albeit Dain really valued the information, what he truly was careful about was the room six hundred and thirty meters below them. The real core of the planet, containing the room where he kept his diaries and memories. A room even the monks knew nothing about and that existed in no plans, no records. When he helped build this planet eight hundred years ago, it was one of the first things he did. Make sure that those who knew, met with accidents. -of course back then he was still a very much different man then he was today- “So… how about you go first? Any questions for me?” He asked politely as he nodded to the kai. Hyperion | Word Count: 1,233 | Total Word Count: 945 + 1,233 = 2,178

Hyperion’s gaze would follow the man's hand watching ever so carefully as he held the zero button , this action was rather peculiar but he soon would learn the purpose of this action when the elevator dropped. Hyperion could feel his intestines rise into his throat if only for the briefest of moments yet remained stoic and calm , as if he was unfazed by the transition despite his internal rattling. The snowy haired god would laugh lightly agreeing to the mans statement “then you may call me Hyperion” he would say still smiling it was obvious he enjoyed the presence of dain greatly despite just meeting him. Hyperion would being looking dain over as the elevator still descended and he made query about having a full tour next time , “that would be lovely , you see despite coming here for thousands of years i never knew they had knowledge beyond my eyes” he’d say with a nervous laugh obvious embarrassment as being a god he was supposed to be a well of knowledge and power. So far all hyperion had displayed was humility and respect things gods would find shameful but hyperion had a different view of what a god was , he felt that he was made to protect and serve the beings of the universe. They owed him nothing in fact it was him who owed them everything for without them he’d have no purpose or calling , to him a god was a servant and a soldier for peace. So when Dain mention how these guards to their job into sacred acord he would bow to them out of respect “please forgive my coming through i am merely a scholar in the act’s of balance” he would say before quickly moving along. Upon entering the room hyperion would take a seat in one of the chair and motion for his new companion to come sit , But he would stop when offered a beverage and food. A small blush crept up on his face of embarrassment , with a anime sweat drop and another nervous laugh. “Well Dain you see as a god i dont really need food and i only study ancient history….” he would pause and cough into his fist looking the opposite direction “....what are these foods you speak of? And yes i would gladly partake in them.” he would say. The snowy haired god felt embarrassed beyond reason , as before his fellow kai’s had perished by the hands of demons they would always laugh at his inability to recognize mortal food unless it be a glass of water and solely water” he may be kind , educated , wise and polite but he seemed ignorant to the more simple things in life like what the hell was a pizza. He would then perk up at the last statement , “oh yes , well i should let you know first im in training to replace the supreme kai…” he would pause straightening out his posture in his chair getting back to his proper position “...Which means i'll need to start balancing out any serious threats that could threaten your life or freedom, in short what do you think is most wrong with this universe…” he would then make direct eye contact with dain showing the seriousness of the question “...because if our quality of life or mortal level continues to drop the one above all will erase us” he warned hyperion was showing Dain he didn't have all the answers , and he as well needed council. Dain could not help but chuckle slightly as he heard the man speak. “Well it is nice to meet you Hyperion.” He finally said with a small nod. It was not that he was laughing about the man´s name, far from it. Hyperion seemed to fit him quite nicely. No he was chuckling about the man not knowing there was more information to be found here. This planetarium library had so much secrets it could fill an entire library just to catalog them. That was why Dain chuckled. As the man pointed unwittingly out the irony of this whole planet. For an organization dedicated to gathering all knowledge in the universe, they were so incredibly good at hiding information and secrets. One of them was the hidden workspace in subspace. Dain had only learned of it because he had delivered the supplies to half the planet and smuggled in some pretty sophisticated spy ware. Apparently the monks had discovered a long lost space station in a forgotten part of the galaxy. It was mentioned in one of their `hidden´ books. A race had learned to harness negative space. They build such a massive space station they had been forced to anchor it into subspace to prevent it from tearing holes in reality. -This is as much as Dain understood, he was not bad with science, but this completely went over his head.- In any case the monks had managed to travel to the anchor, learn from it and brought it back with them. They now used it as one of the most massive work places in the universe to try out technology, build and create new ones, as they read about them in their books. In a way these monks could be described as perhaps the most dangerous organization in the universe. With the amount of knowledge, secrets and long lost technology at their hands, they scared even Dain. Luckily nobody knew what they truly were and Dain needed them more then he feared them. Plus the fact that they seemed to be benign was a great help. However that was not what he was here to talk about. As much as he figured Hyperion would be interested to learn about the Library, even Dain barely knew a fraction and it was not his place to tell. When the Kai asked him what those things where, Dain almost fell out of his chair laughing. Or rather he would have if he had been an ordinary human on Earth, ignorant of the gigantic galaxy out there. The fact that he knew about Tea and cookies was only because he had lived on Earth for a while. Last time he visited the planet OooOrthuOA and was asked if he wanted some XCAKEOPA. How the hell was he suppposed to know it meant some dish made of mud, gold clumbs and salpeter, along with a few ingredients he could not even identify. His pocket scouter had almost fainted though as he scanned the dish and simply stated LETHAL in big red letters as it vibrated and an alarm came from the device. “Ah the first is simply hot water flavor and the other are a sweet dish. Both are from Earth and I am pretty sure both are compatible with your biology.” He said with a pleasant smile. To be safe though he quickly pulled a small apparatus from his pocket, pointed it at the Kai, then at the food and drinks, before pointing it back at the Kai. A moment later the device simply buzzed gently and Dain began pouring the tea. The green liquid quickly filled the cup and soon the sweet aroma of mint tea began to fill the room. Next he picked up a few cookies and placed them at the edge of the tray. He was just nibbling on a cookie himself when Hyperion asked him what he felt was the most wrong about the universe. The question caught him completely of guard as he never gave it any thought. For him the universe was simply the universe. It lived, pulsed, grew and evolved in it´s own way. Species died, were born. Nations fell, empires were created. Life continued. The galaxy just was. “Uhhh… that is a very loaded question I think…” Dain said as he scratched his chin, before diverting his eyes onto the ceiling and placing his fingers tips together. It was a habbit he had as he tended to think. There were so many things to contemplate, but in the end he simply lacked the appropriate information to make a true judgments. “Could you give me a few parameters to work with?” He finally said as his gaze returned to the Kai after a few minutes, a dead serious look in his eyes and he even put the cookie down. “I will ask about this one above all later. Let´s presume there is a being out there that will destroy the universe if it falls below a certain point… before I can answer that, I need to know how he defines that level.” Dain continued as he explained his point. “For example violence is part of nature. Species go extinct and kill each other, all over the galaxy and all universes. The strong live and the weak die. That is basic evolution theory and I am pretty sure is what the universe needs to get further. However when we take that up to a sentient level where entire planets wipe each other out, we suddenly abandon that and call it a massacre. I have lived for over a thousand years though and observed a lot. In my opinion a race exterminating another is the same as a species dying out because of evolution. The strong survive, the weak die and in general the universe moves forward.” Dain said, explaining his point of view. “However if you believe that is wrong, the entire basis for my point of view is already invalid. So if you tell me what makes up this level you are talking about, I think I can give you a better answer.” He said. As he was done his smile returned on his face and he reached for his cookie, dunking it in the tea before quickly eating it. “You should try that, it is really good.” He said with a wink as he dunked another cookie and quickly ate it again. Hyperion would lift the confectionary to his pillowy lip softly taking a bite , he would chew slowly truly taking in the earthy texture of the food as it crumbled in his mouth. He would then reach for the tea taking a light sip of the beverage he would give a light hum of satisfaction , the feeling of the warm tasteful liquid sent a chill up his spine. It was a wonder why hyperion never truly sat down and enjoyed for anymore , he would place the cup down along with the cookie listening intently to dain. He would then shake his head playfully punching himself in the forehead , “i truly must be the worst god ever , normally id be killed on the spot for letting mortals know of divine activity but considering only one other kai is here and he’s from an alternate universe im free to speak” he would say with a wink.
It was now clear that hyperion was about to let dain in on some secrets “The Mortal Level of a universe is directly related to the effectiveness of the jobs of its Supreme Kais and Gods of Destruction ,allowing and promoting the creation and development of adequate civilizations and elimination of inadequate ones.It is a measuring of the average development, or "quality", of the mortals existing in a universe.” he would then put his hand on his chin in a very thoughtful manner as if trying to remember a few things. There where many things the gods had done to preserve this , and yet the mortal level as of late had to have declined by now. “You see we gods make planets , solar systems and galaxies, now out of all those planet’s trillions only about twenty eight where recorded to have highly advanced civilizations which also dropped our mortal level because it shows our creations aren’t evolving properly” he would then snap as if something just returned to him , before proudly proclaiming his next statement.
“Mortal kindness is taken into consideration as well” he would say before taking another sip of his tea rather satisfied with the answer he had just given the man. He would then set the cup down and look at him intently loving smile in place , but a tinge of sadness in his eye’s as he began to speak once more. “We narrowly escaped erasure last time Dain...Universe’s one , twelve , five and eight were exempt due to there utopia like state’s and diligent gods…” he would pause for a moment , as he reached into his robes and pull out a scroll and unravel it upon the table. It was covered in dust and barely readable “..blow the dust off of it but leave it on the table and i’ll explain” he would instruct dain urging him.
Should dain do as asked of him the dust would swirl about burst into the air creating an almost realistic miniature replica of the tournament of power , battle would be happening on the construct universe’s being wiped out. “ Universe’s eleven , two, three, ten, four, our universe seven , six and nine all had to fight for survival in a battle royal the loser’s where wiped from existence with their gods and universe” he sounded relatively sad about about this but chippered up immediately
“But it wasn’t much to worry about we god’s have dragon balls that work only for us , as you must speak the divine tongue to use them universe 7 used our prize a wish from those dragon balls to restore the other univere’s , the one above all was extremely happy about it all but agreed he wouldn’t kill us in such a manner again…” hyperion would immediately stop dain if jumped the gun
“The one above all favors universe seven above others but if we fall to low he will destroy us you need atleast a seven to say your a good universe….” hyperion would hang his head in shame it was clear he felt it was his fault , and after that it was clear he was now the only god besides Xell. “ours is 3.18” he’d say not wanting to look dain in the eye just letting that sink in for a moment.

Dain blinked a few times as he listened to Hyperion. That was something new to him. He understood the Kai was telling him something he should not actually be knowing and instantly he understood why. If there was a being out there that could wipe entire universes from existence… if that was known it would cause mass panic. Perhaps it could actually be counted as a true god. A shiver ran down his spine as he thought about it. His body did not even respond with the usual intention to fight such a being. Still as Hyperion kept talking, Dain tried to stay calm, keeping a steel face. He kept sipping his tea casually and listening, despite his eyes trembling at moments. “Well if what you say is true, then we are in trouble…” Dain said seriously as he finally put down his tea cup, letting his voice trail of. There were so many questions he felt like asking. He even forgot his own question, even if just for a moment, as he thought about the problem. The first should be obvious. “Well I am glad we survived, but let me ask you first: at this rate, how long do you think we have left? Will there be some kind of warning or will we just vanish when this one above yonder? -he thought for a moment to think- ah the one above all decides it so?” He asked curiously, wondering if he should start making plans to pack up his stuff and move to another universe. There was one thing he did not understand though. “So what actually makes up this rating? Is it the strength of the people? Their level of technology? I understand compassion a bit, I am just wondering what a god could do?” Dain asked curiously, raising his eyebrows as he stared directly at Hyperion. He understood why the man wanted to change things, he just wondered what he could do. Because from the talks he had with other gods, it was clear they could not intervene directly in the grand scheme of things. Nor could they magically enhance the quality of people. He had never met or heard of a being who could turn his entire race into a bunch of super Saiya-Jin with cosmic levels of technology. Then his thought went back to the tournament for a moment and suddenly he realized he did know about it. Albeit indirectly. Dain suddenly made the connection between Vegeta bringing back Saiya-Jin from another dimension. He must have met them there. “Okay… can you by any chance give me a copy of that? I would like to watch the tournament sometimes.” He asked with a cheeky grin as he suddenly thought about all the amazing fighters that had been gathered there. The cheekiness did not last long though. Even his eternal optimism was not enough to hide the fact that Hyperions story and situation had him worried. “Perhaps I can tie this a bit into the reason why I approached you. Is there something I can do? I know I am a mere mortal, albeit immortal, but I came here to talk to you about me.” He said serious, despite the arrogance that obviously stemmed from such a desire. Dain, a mere Saiya-Jin, seeking out a god to talk about him. “Let me ask you Hyperion, what do you know about me? If you know about me at all of course.” He added humbly, hoping in fact that the god was not aware of his reputation and deeds too much. Hyperion would close his eyes drinking his tea before setting it back down on the table “well Daine i know nothing of you , i study the ancient and mystic if i ever turned the kai’s scrying orb to watch a mortal or behold their past or hopped through the space time continuum to behold your future….” he would pause holding up one of the cookies , it had a spiral design with many planets in it “...your deeds need be worthy of a supreme kai’s for me to even consider learning about you” he would then eat the cookie before smiling back at dain and then starting to elaborate further on answering a different question. “You say what can a god do?? What can a mortal do?” this part was said with a little bit of a laugh but a sad one. Hyperion would snap and with a flash of brilliant blue light a little ki construct of the galaxy would be there swirling above them , he would then stand and walk to the side of the room and begin point up at the galaxy. “For there can be no Destruction without Creation the vise versa is also true , orignally supreme kai’s would make worlds and the god of destruction would destroy the ones without evolved or barbarian like people” he would then snap again and the large blue galaxy would be covered in red dots. “This lone galaxy has trillions of planets maybe more..” he would snap again only 28 red lights remained “only twenty eight of these worlds have suitable life”. “Essentially there is creation without destruction occuring , i can do nothing about this except stop making worlds either the god of destruction awakes or one of you mortals goes wild again doing his job” he said that last part with disdain it was clear he didn’t like beerus in the slightest regard. Hyperion would reghin himself in “forgive my rambling it’s just thinking about being erased puts a god on edge , nothing is left anything that originated from this universe will fade it’ll be like we never existed” he would sit back down in his chair “i can provide you a copy but some divine secrets must remain such so i’ll need to cut out the prize it’s for both our own good” he’d say grabbing the scroll rolling it up before producing a newer more clean scroll from his robes. “If you push some ki in this one you’ll have a mental mindscape , imagine it like a front row seat to the whole thing” he’d say happily. hyperion could only hope the man wouldn't make a big fuss about the scroll , hyperion despite being much more loose lipped than other gods still had a duty to uphold. the galaxy above them would slowly begin to fade away dispersing and spiraling onto the floor leaving in the form of mist. To his surprise Dain was actually learning quite a bit just from talking with Hyperion. Not that he had doubted the man´s knowledge, but he had doubted they shared much. He had met some Kai´s in the past, but they either lost most of their memory or simply refused to talk about such things. In his long life he had never even heard about something higher then the grand kai. Hearing there was something as a supreme kai and a god of destruction was enough to make him tremble. Although he made sure his composure was kept, he could tell by the small waves in his teacup, he was actually properly shook. For now he remained silent though, especially to the question about what a mortal could do. It tied into his own question too much and once he had started it, he would hate to be interrupted. So instead he listened, sipping his tea occasionally and making sure to remember every word. He is actually giving this to me? Dain thought to himself as he readily accepted the scroll. Was he really just giving access to a live feed of perhaps one of the most secret events that ever happened? Or actually more, to be able to see his hero Vegeta fight in action? He had kept up on whatever information he could get his hands on, but after fighting a pink blob named Buu, information became really scarce. Although legends had it they attained a new level that was beyond mortal form. “T-Thank you.” He said, even stuttering a bit, showing how flustered he was. He could not resist the urge to see though. He knew he probably shouldn´t in present company, but he could simply not wait to try it. So as he was pulling back, he pushed some KI into the scroll, the process being surprisingly easy and guided. As if the scroll itself instructed him how to do it. For a brief moment he was there. Sitting in some stand, watching a gigantic floating island filled with such powerful warriors it was giving him an instant headache. “WOW!” He said as he released the scroll by surprise, catching it quickly though before it hit the table. Instantly he was snapped out of the image though and he was staring at the Kai. His eyes trembling and a shiver running down his spine, merely from the few seconds he witnessed. Whether it was instinct or something he saw in the man´s eyes, Dain could not really tell, but he suddenly felt like he needed to reassure Hyperion. “Thank you so much. I promise that nothing that has been exchanged here will ever leave this room.” Dain said with a small, polite nod, as he stood up and walked to one of the many shelves. After rearranging a few books he revealed a hidden vault, opened it with the combination and demonstratively put in the scroll, before closing it again and putting the books back. He really liked this god, not only was he polite and friendly, but there was an aura around him that seemed to command his respect. Luckily Hyperion shifted the conversation, so they would not have to dwell longer on it. “Funny you should have told me all this, in a way it is connected.” Dain said as he sat down again. “Basically I wanted to talk to you about something that has been bothering me. I am a mortal, even if immortal, yet… I fear I am too powerful.” Dain said seriously as he snapped his finger and transformed directly into his second form, a golden aura flickering around him for a second, complete with blue lightning. It was controlled enough though that it barely caused a breeze to go through the room. “I honestly don´t know what to do. I can topple governments, I can destroy planets, I can save planets… I can pretty much do whatever I want and it does not feel right. I feel like I should not have this power. Who am I to decide who lives or dies? Is that not the power of a god?” He asked serious, as he was getting to the core of his problems. It was not that he desired to be a god. He was not the type to care much about the mortal plane. Over the centuries he had picked up a few tricks though and as he talked he demonstrated them one by one. “I can move freely through the universe, I can use magic, I can summon things out of thin air and so much more.” He said as he teleported through the room after placing two fingers on his forehead, before creating a magic shield and holding up his hand to summon a sword out of nowhere. With a sigh he sat down again. “If I wanted I could probably destroy the empire, or any other race dwelling in a solar system. I could go to any underdeveloped planet and call myself a god.” I honestly don´t know what to do with that. “You know… all I want to do is fight, without having to care about what is right or wrong… not being able to decide things on a planetary level.” He said as he looked back up at Hyperion, for a moment his real age showing in his eyes in the form of tiredness. God he was tired of it all. When he was just a wee little soldier, all he had wanted was to fight and die in a glorious battle. Yet his cursed body had not allowed it, always staying alive despite the gravest injuries and over the centuries he had acquired the power he had now. “Does any of this makes sense to you?” He asked curiously, as he tried to smile. Hyperion would sip his tea eye looking over the rim at dain , “the power of a god you say” he would say this with a splash of sadness drenching his voice , what power did a god truly have in this world? Why create life and life forms? If from the moment they are born you can't nudge them in the right direction or be the strong arms that support these infant worlds as they just begin to blossom into something wonderful. A god in the eyes of hyperion had no say in who lives and who dies as a kai he was taught that he must be a defender of peace and a guardian of the balance but how could he do so when the same people who were teaching him were also tying his hands. Being a god was no gift , there was no blessing within it you can endlessly create worlds and people but in the end you watch each and everyone grow , and fall and when they suffer you must stay your hand as it is not your place to aid them. Hyperion would set the cup of tea down and with a very sad look in his eyes look upon dain “Dain you have it very wrong , for a god like myself this job is torture i'm supposed to ensure peace and balance yet at the same time my hands are bound by cosmic rules to break them is to be excommunicated from the sacred world of the kai’s” he would say as his hands tightened around his knees taking two handfuls of his robes his arms shaking from a mixture of sadness and rage. He would slowly stand reaching for dain’s hands in an attempt to give dain a better effect as he wanted his words to truly hit home with diane “i don't want to be just another useless god who stood by , and your one of the titans of the mortal plane you think you have to much power and i tell you now don't just be another mortal” he would then let go of Dain’s hands and back over to his side of the room, as he sat back down looking at dain hoping his words where striking home at least a little. “We all have a purpose use that power to carve out your own path” he would say as he stared down into his empty cup of tea seemingly in self review for now this was the best answer he could provide dain for now. “I've talked to a small handful of mortals , it seems resentment and scorn is all a god is worthy of” he would say with a heavy hearted sigh , looking out into the distance beyond. It was as he had feared, that the gods themselves had limits. In a way it explained why the likes of him had been allowed to roam freely as they did. He had heard of a few interventions, but they were on a whole other level. One of the most revered was the sealing of the demon races in a different realm. He had learned of that from the demoness Amatricina. The other instance he could recall was when the universe was threatened by a being called Majin Buu. He had heard the whispers and legends the supreme Kai of their universe had intervened himself. Yet that also seemed to be the limit of what they could do. It apparently was not within their power to act when the stakes were too low. He guessed that if that was the case, he would be furious. Or perhaps at least once he would have been. Once he did care about what happened around him. He had tried it, to be a hero, to save as much as he could. Though as history marched on he was forgotten. So he had tried his hand at evil, going as far as destroying planets. Yet once more he had been forgotten, his exploits not more then a fairy tail or a footnote in the Gallic history. Once he realized that no matter what he did, it would always fade, he had stopped caring. Yet compared to the gods plea, he suddenly realized he had it easy. At the very least he had the freedom of choice to care or not care. Suddenly he had the urge to help the man. To help a god. It was ironic to believe he would be capable of helping a god. Perhaps it was his ego, yet despite the biggest inflation, he knew it was true. “So… anything I can do to help? I mean I am not looking forward to being wiped out by some god thingie.” He said seriously as he reached out and twisted his arm, so the palm of his hand was pointing up. “I have quite a few assets in play, aside from my own power.” He said as this time an image appeared above his open hand, showing the Kai a few of his most prominent assets. Aside from the Atrioch, Sly and his golden rust bucket, it also showed more promising things. For example the Neo Big Gete Star, the fleet it was producing and the mighty fleet of the Ravagers. Now if he wanted he could probably rework some of it into some force of good. Of course it would take a lot of time and effort to convince all those involved, but he was sure he could do it. With those fleets, perhaps the Saiya-Jin race and most importantly his friends, perhaps he could ensure peace. Help those in need, feed those who where hungry and- “What could I do to impose peace though? Or better, what will make sure that it is the right thing?” He asked as the image fade and his hand clenched, his nails digging into his flesh. “Mortals tend to be violent creatures. Last time I helped a race by defeating an invading force, they ended up invading the other planet themselves. How can I procure peace when everyone is seemingly so eager to get into combat and kill each other… the only way I can think of to pacify them is to conquer them myself…” He said as he thought about so many things he had done, trying to help, only to make matters worse in the end. That was the problem with the universe. He was a mere Saiya-Jin, a lowly mortal. How could he decide which was right or wrong? What would ultimately be better? Feeding a starving city so no body would die right there and then? It tended to result in the city growing even bigger, causing more problems and death later. While if he were to let them on their own, sure a lot would die, but the survivors would learn and adapt, making the society stronger in the end. It was the problem of it all. Blind goodness could do more damage in the end, then letting things play out. What if he killed an evil leader, only to allow his far worse son to take reign? Or worse, what if that man was not evil at all, he simply follow his race believes. Who was he to judge cultures and people? Could he say that killing convicts was wrong? That eating your diseased was bad? He honestly believed he did not know what was right or wrong. In the past thousand years he had seen those idea´s and morals change and shift all over the universe. Those rules and judgments were never the same a hundred years later. Suddenly he had an idea. “Perhaps we can actually help each other…” He said as he bit his lip in thought, speaking as the words directly came to mind. Dain was not looking directly at Hyperion as he was deep in thought, trying to think over his words before he spoke them. “It seems you can´t act and I don´t know how to act… Perhaps…” He said, letting his voice trail of as he started to pace around in the room, trying to think about all the consequences of his words. Hyperion would look up at dain a small smile on his face the snowy haired deity was now seeing he was grasping at the concepts being thrown at , he expected no less from someone who could remain calm knowing all that they ever knew could be gone at the snap of someone's fingers. He would examine the hologram he would give dain the same warm smile before he waved his hand as in a ‘i understand put that away’ motion , he would rest his hands in his lap “you know that device was a real concern back when one of the frieza clan integrated his mind with that piece of technology , im happy to see its not being used like it originally was” he would say in a rather calm tone. To anyone who studied that thing new it originally started as an AI system which originally was computer chip that drifted through the cosmo’s somehow, the chip began absorbing and assimilating debris from several abandon spaceships and satellites, forming a large mass of steele and wires. Once it came in contact with what remained of frieza’s older brother it tried to assimilate him only for him to override the gete star’s control and become the core mind ; the amalgamation of tech was then lead to namek to try and assimilate it’s biomass as fuel but was inevitably destroyed by some heros. He was pleased dain had it but now that he knew dain had it , the saiyan was now on his watch list for potential threats to the universe but then again now in his hands it held the potential for great amounts of good. Hyperion would shake his head lightly “impose peace...conquer them?” these would be said like dain was asking him something in a foreign language , hyperion's gaze would grow serious but still friendly as he spoke “let me tell you a tale my friend , one the gods scrubbed from all mortal history” he would say looking around the room at all shut doors and dropped curtains making it obvious no one was to hear what was about to be said. A frown would cross his face as he went to the corner of the room where he would summon up a small boom box , he would set it to play soft nature sounds as to mask their talk if anyone should be listening. The snowy haired man would make his way back to his seat “there was once a god who functioned on those very morals , we gods see the world differently than you do and it drives some of us to the brink of insanity as we learn about our roles in the universe” he would say he was no longer smiling but he wasn’t frowning either “this god’s name was zamasu he felt all mortals needed to be erased he killed every god that existed in all the universe’s, and with his ability to sift through time at will , we couldn't stop him he was only defeated because the lord above all destroyed the future timeline” he would then lean back in his chair closing his eyes ; “we are taught mortals learn from their mistakes and grow stronger and we should learn from it , but to him all you mortals did was destroy and pollute the worlds we gave you and after being beaten in a spar by one of your kind he that was the push that sent him over the deep end” he would finish with a look of ‘understand’ A god had tried that and it lead to him committing celestial and mortal genocide , there was no way to impose such peace on worlds already set in their ways this was the reason they were culled in their infancy if they didn’t show signs of progressive behavior. Hyperion’s white glow would become a golden one similar to the sun’s if you dimmed it a bit , a small wave of heat would wash over the room as his body began to grow in muscle mass his robes becoming golden Katchintite armor his white hair changing into the color of golden brown wheat markings appearing on his face and upon his forehead would be a glowing symbol revealing an image of the sun. “forgive me it’s just the kai’s hate the form i was born in they say i resemble a mortal to much , so i adorn the one you saw earlier as a way to please them but you’ve inspired me to just be myself from now on” he would say standing up walking to the far side of the room before placing his hand on the wall a body sized swirling vortex of golden energy would hand there in the air in front of hyperion. “If you would come with me please , and erase all concept of good and evil think of what i'm about to show you as a tactical movement plan” he would say his smile was their but on his new face it seemed more inviting instead of soft and welcoming.

In all fairness Dain was probably a bigger threat to the universe then the big Gete star could pose. At least in terms of raw destruction and mobility, the Saiya-Jin could probably do more damage then the Gete Star. No matter it´s ginormic size and strength, it was only one ship and took days to gobble up a planet, where Dain would merely need to extend an arm to blow it up within seconds. -Well to be fair roughly twenty nine seconds if he was far enough in space not to be caught by the directly in the shock wave. It´s true strength actually lay in it´s other abilities. The devouring of planets was just needed to be able to use those abilities. The reason Dain had taken the Gete star was to provide a suitable base for the Ravagers. Not only that, the star was capable of producing war cruisers at quite high speeds and able to create an army of androids to work as foot soldiers. Now of course Dain was faced with a problem when originally obtaining the star. For it to work it needed insane amounts of power and raw materials. Of course he knew the legends of the star `eating´ planets, but he had no desire to have the Ravagers go through life with the legend of destroying the universe, one planet at a time. So he and Sly had gone through an awful lot of trouble to trace down one of the ancient races. They had been gone for over a hundred thousand years from this universe, but they had tracked down any leads or legends upon these beings and finally struck gold. In a small planet, the `ancients´ had created over a black hole as a research laboratory, they found a power supply capable of generating almost unlimited energy. It was called a ZPM and with it they had managed to power the star without the need to actually eat planets. Of course there were drawbacks. They still had not been able to figure out in the slightest how the thing actually worked, so they could not replicate it. Nor did it generate enough power for the entire star. Currently it was working at 23% of it´s full capacity. Nor was it a solution for the lack of raw materials the ship needed to create ships or androids. Instead they had dedicated quite a large part of their fleet to drag in derelict meteors and small moons from uninhabited solar systems. It was not perfect -and if the ZPM would ever break, they might need to resort to the original plan after all, they were not above it- but for now it worked and their scientists were working around the clock. Of course Dain would never tell anyone that. All people needed to know was that they had the star and what it was capable of. If they knew of the lengths they had gone through to make it less `evil´ it would lose too much of it´s stature. So instead he crossed his arms and listened to Hyperion speak about the one named Zamasu. It was true he had never even heard about this, but he actually agreed. That was actually the main reason why he had never tried it. -Aside from the fact that universal conquest would only be fun for the first few decades, after that he thought it would become monotone and a drag.- “That is actually my point. Peace can´t come through conquest. Mortals are who they are and albeit we are learning, the thing we tend to learn first is how to become stronger, more threatening and dangerous…” He said as he thought about the countless examples were most advances in technology came from their military counterpart being developed first. “I just honestly don´t know what I/we could do to change the nature of all mortals. I did consider posing as a god, but then realized that the bloodiest and most awefull wars are usually fought in the name of some god.” He said with a mischievous grin, as he remembered the one incident were he actually did cause a few wars in his name. It was a long time ago and he had been hired to destabilizes some planet so a group of miners could continue to mine the planets core. At the time he had decided to simply pose as a god, let technology be banished in his name and started a few wars that lasted decades. The results were rather good if he was honest. Without advances in technology the locals never developed radar, so the miners were never found and because of the wars their population never grew out so far they came in contact by chance. What was weird though was that he actually felt a smidgen of pride in his work. He was ashamed of what he did of course, but he could not help to feel some pride in his work. The job he was given had been completed to perfection. Actually even up onto this day, the church of the `golden one´ still remained on the planet. Perhaps he should visit them someday again… He was torn from his thoughts as suddenly Hyperion began to change. Dain blinked once or twice, a subtle sign of his surprise, as he crossed his arms and observed. “Don´t worry, I think it looks good on you.” He said with a grin, showing his perfect white teeth, as he mustered Hyperions new look and adornment. “So would you say this form allows you to ba— ah never mind. Let´s just say I like it.” Dain said with a smile, biting his tongue in the middle of the sentence as he realized he had just been about to ask the god to do battle with him. It was an automatic response to seeing the new form. Yet he cut himself off as he decided it was not his place to battle a god. Especially since he did not honestly want to know whether he was stronger then the gods. It was a self imposed deterrent. As long as he believed there could be gods out there that were so strong they would make him look like an ant, it was a reason for him to stay his hand at times. Plus it was the last reason he had to keep growing stronger. An invisible bar high in the sky he wanted to breach. “Ah no worries there. I think I have specialized in suppressing such concepts. It is kind of hard to do my job if I were slowed down by meaningless concepts of morals or the concepts of good and evil.” He said with a chuckle as he got up and followed the man through the strange portal. Perhaps he should have been more wary about the man´s intentions, but for some reason he trusted Hyperion. Probably more then he should, but instinctively Dain clung to the idea of gods being right, despite it never having been an active thought. Perhaps he needed them to be right? “So I presume from your words, you might actually have a plan to increase our rating?” He said it with the confidence of an experienced negotiator, despite the fact that he was merely guessing. Hyperion would shake his head as he stepped through the swirling vortex enveloped in its glorious golden light as he was carried across time and space , feint glimpses of other planets and ships would flash for meerly a moment before he would be ejected from the portal and into the vacuum of space. The acting of maintaining oneself in space was childsplay for a god as for dain he had already taken precautions for the mortals life to go on without discomfort , Upon dain being ejected he would be wrapped in the same golden aura as hyperion although his light would be shining slightly brighter than the sandy blonde haired god he would be next to. If dain where to begin panicking or questioning why he can breath or isn’t freezing to death hyperion would answer in two ways. Should he be paniking he would respond with “so you realize your both warm and still drawing oxygen right?” with a confused look upon his face. Should he be question he would simply smile “it’s one of the things any god can do im just sharing with you temporarily” he would say in his happy smile. Now provided none of the above where to happen hyperion would gaze out the vastness of the void of space “it all seems so endless doesn't it? But what if i told you it had an edge?” he would say mild amusement in his voice as he spoke. Hyperion seemed to have quite the loose jaw today with all these divine secrets he was divulging , “but enough with jokes , as you know there is an imbalance of useless planets , planets with nothing but savage life , and planets that are held back from progressing by their own minds” he would say as he pointed to a yellowish green planet in the far off distance , he looked rather sad upon pointing at the planet as if it were a child of his who was just hurt. “That planet was once a flourishing utopia of greenery , i carved the earth and filled the sea’s…” he would paus lowering his hand and turning to dain as they where dragged closer to the planet by what felt like an invisble platform. “...but when the life began progressing and they had their first nuclear war , they turned their world into wasteland the whole planet is a dry barren desert” he would heave a low sigh at this point. “There are many planets like this one...but much worse...some have taken up the dark arts...opened doorways to have their planet ravaged by beast’s from unknown realms….or when peace has settled one being from the world throws it into utter choas to free themselves from the peace they declare entrapment” he would close his eyes crossing his arms facing the planet as they where now closer but not too close. “To fix the mortal level we must erase the planets that are festering seed’s and boils of corruption , as for the smaller worlds that act like this one if we step in ahead of time we could prevent these issues...What input do you have i need your open mind?” he would turn to dain in waiting. Perhaps Dain should have panicked when they entered into nothing but hard space. After all it would have been the appropriate reaction for a Saiya-Jin, but there were three reasons he did not. Firstly, despite the fact that his race could not breath in the vacuum, the Saiya-Jin race was hardy enough to survive a while. Unlike the weak humans, they could sustain Vacuum for a while due to their high energy levels and they can hold their breath for much longer. Secondly on his bracelet he always carries his black armor with him, which automatically equips when he loses consciousness, regardless of the situation. Thirdly… space does not kill him. Dain tried. It is absolute torture, suffocating for days on end, but regardless his body did not die. Still he could not help but twitch slightly as he noticed. No matter how experienced one is, it is almost impossible to suppress the reflex that occurs as one finds himself in the cold vacuum of space. Quickly he realized he was fine though and albeit the technique was unknown to him, he quickly figured out it was Hyperions handy work. -Who else could have done it…- Still it was too late to stop Hyperion from explaining and Dain was simply glad the man kept it short. He was actually rather impressed by Hyperions abilities, even if he did not show it. Perhaps one day he would ask the man to teach him a bit. Dain always wanted to learn some new tricks and it seems like the god still might know a few tricks that would come in handy. The next comment actually did cause Dain to blink a few times in unbelief. He actually had to suppress the urge to slap the man a few times and shout in his ears that it was not decent to drop such earth shattering pieces of information on the fly. So there is a destroyer god, supreme beings who can snuff us out and now the universe has an edge… I think I need to start lying down…[/color] He thought to himself, grinning on the inside, as he physically checked for a bloody nose. Luckily there was no blood, but he still could not get the taste of iron out of his mouth. It was an unhappy side effect of when he was forced to think too much… Luckily the next part was simple enough to understand and more in the realms of reality Dain tended to adhere to. In fact the basics were so simple he had to resist the instinctive inquiry to ask how much it paid. Now if he was honest, he did understand the value of the man´s words, even if he believed it to be half way through. Sure you could balance out a scale by removing weight from one end of the equation. In this case, him blowing up bad planets, would remove the weight on the bad scale. If Hyperion thought that would work, Dain would not mind helping out. For free even. He really, really, really did not want to be snuffed out by some kind of surpreme… surpremest… by some godly Kai. It only raised two questions though. He was not a Kai. So even if he worked in the service of a Kai, would blowing up planets count as good deeds? Otherwise it would be an express way to hell. Although to be fair, that was probably where he was headed anyway, so he shrugged and moved on with his internal pondering. “Lazy or incapable?” He ended up pondering as he chewed through all the material he was given. “I get I get to play the role of destroyer, since this destruction god seems to be asleep… but what is he going to do? I mean I destroy, so should he not be creating?” He wondered as he thought about it. That was off course the other side of the scale. Actually there was simply too much information to process on the fly. He recalled something about this god being from another universe and… the taste of iron was getting stronger, so he quickly decided to stop thinking and stick to his forte. “Okay I get it. I will jump on that scale for you all you want, destroy or save where you point me. In return… I want a get out of hell free card. Do you think you can manage that?” He said with a grin, having decided to take the job and as a true bounty hunter/mercenary finally named his price. Before they could continue though, Dain received a message from Petey that he had to return ASAP. There was a problem on his home planet. Some demon had appeared looking for him and he was dangerously close to the burial site Dain had made for his `parents´. Now Dain did not have much left of his past, but his parents were the closest thing to family he had. Even if they were elementals and even if they had disappeared without a trace.
“I am sorry Hyperion, we need to continue this another time.” Dain said as he pressed a button on his wrist device, which in turn began to send out a signal. “Petey, locate my signal and use the Gete´s power supply to teleport me to the Atrioch and then directly onto the planet.” Dain said as he gritted his teeth. “My apologies. However you have in me someone who can help you, just know that.” Dain said with a fain smile to his new friend, a moment before he turned transparent and then was simply gone.
A moment later he appeared on his ship, only to find himself on his old home planet again. The rapid teleportation left him a bit dizzy and nauseous, but he quickly recovered and soon he found the energy signature of the demon.
A black thick aura appeared around him as his anger arose and the ground around him exploded as he flew off at max speed.
Just before the demon reached the burial ground, Dain intercepted him. From an outsiders perspective, it must have looked as if the red demon had been hit by black lightning. For a moment there was a wave of black energy rushing through the area, before the sound of the explosion and then the demon was expelled backwards into the dirt it had come from.
“I don´t care who you are, or what you are here for. If you are smart you will leave now. Don´t talk, don´t argue, just leave. I will power up now and if you are not gone by the time I am done, you will die!” The Saiya-Jin said with anger trembling in his voice as he looked at the demon.
For a moment the demnon just looked confused at Dain. He had been hunting a mere Saiya-Jin, but now that man was threatening him. In it´s eyes it was almost hilarious and it simply crossed his arms, signaling the Saiya-Jin to take his team. After all it would not have been fun to kill the monkey if he was not at full strength.
The air around Dain looked almost serene for a moment as he opened his eyes. A moment of calmness as the Saiya-Jin relaxed and exhaled briefly. All the tension vanished from his body as he witnessed his surroundings. In that brief moment he could see everything, from the biggest objects, to the small particles of dust floating around. A moment of true peace, something only the great masters of their era knew. To completely relax, be one with their own senses and body. He could feel his own heartbeat, the pulsating veins in his arms and the warm tingling in his fingers.
“Okay, here we go!” He said as he inhaled and tensed his muscles. Instantly black KI began to seep from his body, like a thick black mist. A few veins popped up on his chest and his breathing turned into a soft grunt. The air around him began to vibrate, trembling as if the air itself was heating up around him.
For a moment the demon blinked as he watched the Saiya-Jin power up. He had expected twenty, maybe thirty thousand, but this was slowly becoming a challenge and he was almost beginning to revel the challenge.
At first it seeped around him like a true black mist, before it began to form into a swirling aura around him. The black KI lit up like a thousand light bulbs on a gigantic Christmas tree and a gush of wind spread through the area. A few veins popped up on his arms and a soft growl escaped his lips as he summoned his natural power to the absolute maximum. Of course that alone was enough to make most people run screaming. His long brown hair swayed softly in the air and his brown robe fluttered around him. “Still not gone?” Dain muttered to the demon who was now taking a few steps back, obvious surprised by Dain´s power.
Of course that was not even a fraction of his power. His race had a truly frightening part to it. The ability to transform into a far more powerful form. With a soft grunt he clenched his fists, grounded his teeth and dug deeper. Inside him a flicker of a flame could be found. He extended his senses beyond his body, reaching deeper inside and embraced the flame.
As he grabbed it, he drew it out, feeding it so to speak and in an instant the small flickering flame turned into a golden fire storm. His black hair turned upwards and golden, as his pupils turned color. His muscles swell up like balloons and his power increased dramatically. The light that was released from him, blinding for a moment and as he appeared from it, he stood there in his super Saiya-Jin form. His very skin pulsing and radiating with a golden glow and a bright golden aura fluttering around him.
Astonishingly enough to know though was that when he first achieved this form, his max stood at three hundred thousand. A tremendous power, now out shadowed by his natural ability. Though with his natural ability grown this much, his true power stood at a new pedestal. Towering at one point five million, his power easily outshone the gods in the universe.
He stood there, his arms crossed, a cocky grin on his face, like a true golden god. Maybe there were a few beings out there that could match him. He wondered though for how much longer, especially knowing a simple fact.
Surprisingly, this was not even his full power.
By now the demon was almost frozen to the ground. In a reflex it had thrown a KI-Wave towards the Saiya-Jin, but it had not even deterred the man at all and by now his power was soaring far past his own maximum. Perhaps if he called a few of his friends and some foot soldiers, they might still be able to salvage this. Sadly it was not the demon´s lucky day, as suddenly the monkey dug in deeper and the demon had to braze himself not to be blown away.
Then it was time for the final step. “T-HIS IS T-TO - TO GO BE-Y-YOND!!!” He said as he clenched his hands once more, digging his finger nails deep into his flesh. Small droplets of blood swelled up from the broken skin and signals of pain were send to his brain. Yet before they could reach his brain, completely overruled by his single desire for power. Every bit of his being searched for the power that slept deep within him. Even if he could transform at will, transforming to his maximum was quite a bit different.
Blue thunder began to strike around him as his golden energy swell up to incredible new heights. His feet dug even deeper into the ground and as a scream left his mouth, a tidal wave of golden energy washed over him, engulfing anything in it´s path. His already impeccable muscles swell up even more and he actually grew a few inches. His stomach muscles popped out one by one, till your could grind wheat on it. The gray robe tore to shreds under his continues and the remains flew off into the distance.
His hair spiked up even more and then everything started to convolute around him. Dust, light, wind, rain, anything near him got sucked into him as if he was the only source of gravity. His body began to pulse with a golden light and then he unleashed it all in a final gigantic scream. A light so bright it outshone the sun for a moment was released from Dain and then he stood there.
His body converted into his lightning form. The air around him vibrant with pure golden energy and blue lightning. A serene look rested in his purely white eyes, aside from a few bolts of lightning burning in his eyes.
“Well how do you like them apples…” He said with a grin as he glanced over his own form. Every time he transformed it seems he got stronger again and his form got more perfect. Now there was only one thing left to do. It was the part he had hated at first, but now that he was used to it, he loved it. The pressure this technique put on his body, the way it tensed up his muscles… it was akin to a feeling comparable to reaching a certain high point with a lady. There was just something about reaching the pinnacle of one own power.
For a final time he clenched his fist and focused. “SUPER KAIO-KKEEENNNN!!!” He bellowed, before his power exploded like a volcano around him. His golden aura turned a deep red and veins popped up all over his forehead, arms, legs and stomach. The air around him deforming as his power reached it´s peak well above ten million.
By now the demon was ready to turn tail and in raw panick he waved his hands, summoning the portal and jumped in, running with his tail between his legs, from the rage that was Dain´s.

“… shame…” Dain said as he watched the demon flee. Although at first he had intended for the demon to run, now that he was all warmed up, he actually was looking forward to a fight. It would be good to let of some steam.

“Oh what the hell!” Dain said as a sheepish grin appeared on his face, as it only did as he was about to do something utterly stupid. “PEEEEKKAAAAABBOOOOO!” He yelled as loudly as his grin grew even wider, as he dashed forward and jumped through the portal, following the demon, just before it closed.
Now Dain was fairly rich. He owned a few planets, controlled a fleet, a space station the size of a planet, an organisation called the ravagers…
… the look on the demon´s face though as he appeared through the portal: PRICELESS!
