Dain was once again back on the planet Earth. According to him it was a waste of space in the middle of space. Although the natives were quite inventive, they had not really made any contributions to space or delivered any good warriors recently. Sure there were a few. He still remembered Krillin and Yamcha, plus there were a few warriors in the current generation that where interesting. In the general picture though, he did not consider Earth anything more then a B class planet. There was no technology to pilfer, no treasure worth stealing and no sense in coming down to fight opponents. Until recently at least. Just the other day he had met a small pink boy during a tournament that had given him a run for his money. It was enough to make Dain consider rethinking the possibility of giving Earth a better status. Had it not been for one small detail… the boy was not human. Ironically enough the only thing on Earth making it interesting was something not from Earth. Albeit Dain did not know where the Majin came from, he was quite sure it was not Earth. Where Khosai had come from he was unsure, but he was there. The moment Dain landed on Earth he could already feel the weird sensation in the air. Now perhaps most people were unable to sense it, but as a fighter who´s fighting style was based upon it -like any true warrior- he could sense KI with the best out there and the Majin´s KI was so weird/amazing it stood out like a sore thumb. Problem was that it was also the reason he could not locate the Majin though. It was really baffling to Dain, who was used to be able to find almost anyone with an above average PL. Kho´s power however felt both extremely, ultimately powerful and not there at the same time. It would have been even impossible to describe for the Saiya-Jin. Like a bottomless, empty well… that was somehow full. “Well at the very least I know you are still here.” The Saiya-Jin said to himself as he shrugged, before blasting off. Leaving a small crater behind. As he soared through the skies, clouds and the occasional flock of swans, he tried to remember what Sly had told him. It was important, the reason he had come here was to play with his friend again, but his mind was clouded. He remembered the amount of booze he drunk that night and the game of three dimensional chess… or rather he saw the mountain of bottles the next day and the board discarded in the corner of the room. -which usually happened: at some point either one of them would call the other a liar, throw the board and stomp out…- Yet there was something, he was sure of it. Sly had told him about the fight with a pink boy that was extremely powerful and Dain figured it had to be Khosai. Yet as much as he tried he could not remember and by the time he arrived at the desolate location, he still had nothing. At the very least it was a good place to fight. It was a remote little place in the mountains of the eastern continent. There were a few mountain lakes with fish, but otherwise it was completely barren. It was a balmy eighty degrees and a cool mountain breeze was playing with his hair. “Yus this will do!” He said as he explored the region, confirming there were no stragglers. Last time they were confined by a force field. This time though there was no such confinement and he was certain that when the two of them were going to play, they would need their space. Then suddenly it hit him. As he was wondering how to summon Kho, he remembered. Sly had told him to reverse it. If he could not go to Kho, he had to make sure the Majin would come to him. The air around Dain looked almost serene for a moment as he opened his eyes. A moment of calmness as the Saiya-Jin relaxed and exhaled briefly. All the tension vanished from his body as he witnessed his surroundings. In that brief moment he could see everything, from the biggest objects, to the small particles of dust floating around. A moment of true peace, something only the great masters of their era knew. To completely relax, be one with their own senses and body. He could feel his own heartbeat, the pulsating veins in his arms and the warm tingling in his fingers. “Okay, here we go!” He said as he inhaled and tensed his muscles. Instantly black KI began to seep from his body, like a thick black mist. A few veins popped up on his chest and his breathing turned into a soft grunt. The air around him began to vibrate, trembling as if the air itself was heating up around him. At first it seeped around him like a true black mist, before it began to form into a swirling aura around him. The black KI lit up like a thousand light bulbs on a gigantic Christmas tree and a gush of wind spread through the area. A few veins popped up on his arms and a soft growl escaped his lips as he summoned his natural power to the absolute maximum. Of course that alone was enough to make most people run screaming. His long brown hair swayed softly in the air and his brown robe fluttered around him. “Well how about this… according to my internal sensors I now measure easily over half a million…” He mutter to himself with a pleasant smile as he looked at his own hands and the power he could feel rushing from them. He did not relax though and where normally he tried to surpress his power, contain it from wasting, this time he expanded. The field of KI growing bigger and burning brighter, as if he was trying to light the signal fire for the Majin to find and follow. `KHOSAI! COME FIND ME AND PLAY!´ Dain bellowed in his mind, sending the telepathic message across the planet as far as he could. Meanwhile he kept `powering´ up to let the majin know where to go. Already his Saiya-Jin blood was itching for a fight and he desperately wanted another crack. Even Ala had not been as much fun as Khosai to fight and he needed it. He needed the practice to go further, to go beyond… Doctor Kaijin Vex Word Count: 1,113 | Total Word Count: 1,113

Khoshai's days were rather occupied on Tiger Island. Tora made sure to keep the boy busy, with various training exercises, and the occasional light sparring. The boy was, after what seemed like ages, finally putting forth some decent effort, and was actually making a change to his fighting style, becoming less volatile, and focusing his energies on offense and defense, instead of just getting hit, reforming, and then blowing up half of a chosen landform with his intense power. It was tough, of course. Khoshai's raw power eclipsed Tora's by a large margin. But where Kho had power, Tora had skill, and had quite the great variety of methods employed to not only keep the boy under check, but to keep him interested. That, along with the fact that Kho saw Tora as a father figure, well, as even more of a father than Khoshai's actual father, who he was deeply petrified of.
Khoshai was a child who, above all else, wanted to please. He wanted Tora to be proud of him, to praise him, and to tell him he was doing a good job. Despite often making the Tiger Martial Artist's life a living hell sometimes with his shenanigans, Khoshai was a sweet, overly affectionate child, and often times made up for his antics with a hug, if words weren't enough to convey the message. The two became close, with Khoshai obeying Tora's orders, for the most part, and trying to be as well behaved a child as can be. However, with that said, curiosity often got the better of him, and was one of his more...persistent flaws.
The child was, admittedly, very impulsive. When he felt something, he had to express it. Whether it was happiness, sadness, or anger. When he was curious about something, he had to explore it. It was simply in his nature. So when Dain's voice came crashing into his head, it was safe to say the boy was at least a little intrigued.
Tora had just retreated back to the dojo for a little break session after one of their latest training exercises, when the Majin felt the presence of Dain in his mind, yelling (a bit unnecessarily, given it was a psychic message) for the boy to come and play. For a moment, Kho was confused, looking curiously to the right and left of him, initially believing that the person who called his name was within the range of his peripheral vision. However, moments later, a familiar energy signature sparked up, quite a ways from where they were now. Now that he thought about it...the voice was familiar, and the energy signature confirmed it.
It was Dain! Dain....Sister? No....that wasn't right. Dain Scissor? Dain Strawberry? I know it started with an S....
Khoshai was on rather decent terms with the Super Saiyan. They had met at one of the Black Light Tournament matches that Khoshai regularly competed in. The boy and the Super Saiyan competed against each other, and seemed to have been locked into a struggle that could have easily leaned in either warrior's favor. In the final moments, Dain had gained the upper hand, and consequently blew Khoshai out of the water with a rather powerful attack. Despite the result of the battle, Khoshai was a rather good sport, choosing to be friends with the Saiyan, instead of be the sore loser that he sometimes was. Interestingly enough, Khoshai was innocently unaware of the conflict that Dain and Sly both had with his master and caretaker, and liked the three of them regardless, not seeing any bit of connection. Although Tora was his favorite, of course.
As Khoshai turned to shoot off towards the energy source, something made him hesitate. He guiltily looked back towards the dojo, as if morally split. He did want to go play with Dain, but Tora told him that they only had an hour to rest before they did the next training exercise. How would Big Brother Tora react if he just skipped out on the training? He would probably be mad. Maybe he should wait for Tora to come back and then tell him so he could go back and play?
Orrrrrrrrrrrrr
Maybe he and Dain could play real quick, and Khoshai could race back to Tiger Island before the hour break was over? So he and Dain could play for a little bit, AND he could train afterwards with Tora! Everyone was happy, especially him! Yup Yup! That sounded like a good idea.
"I'll be back really soon...!" Majin Khoshai whispered before his pink aura enveloped him, and he shot off into the sky, preparing himself for the rather long journey to Dain's position
Dain had chosen a rather scenic venue for the sight of their battle. The mountains of the Eastern Continent were rather beautiful this time of year, and the small streams and ponds of fish offered the boy quite the number of things to gape at on the way. He had always loved nature, and loved spending time with all the "pretty animals", enjoying the fact that most animals loved him in turn, one of the few things in the galaxy that had been nice to him from the beginning, and had never changed such sentiment. If Khoshai wasn't meeting to play with Dain, he would've stopped to play with some of the birds, maybe a fox or too if he was lucky, not even knowing if there were even foxes in this region.
It didn't necessarily take the child long to find his quarry. Dain was creating shockwaves from his energy output, after all. Throwing caution to the wind, Khoshai grinned and made a beeline for his friend, flying into the man's arms, his small body wrapping around Dain's chest in a rather affectionate hug. Giggling, the child looked up at Dain, his smile practically plastered on his face.
"Hi Mr. Dain! I missed you! We never get to play together! Um...do you wanna do the fight-y thing again? That was fun!" Khoshai exclaimed happily as he leapt back. It seemed as if the boy was just as excited to fight Dain as Dain was.
"Lookie, lookie! I'm even stronger now!" Khoshai said excitingly, before spreading his arms out, his body suddenly becoming enveloped in a ferocious pink, sparkling aura. It was near dazzling in it's mystical looking, majestic fuchsia color. And with such a burst of energy came a dramatic exponential increase in strength, with Khoshai's own power level bursting past what Dain had experienced the last time they had fought. The child's aura sent shockwaves through the surrounding environment, and as he smiled at Dain, he reached out, and suddenly a Bo Staff materialized in his hands, a new weapon that Tora was training him to use. The staff was primarily red in color, with gold stripes running throughout the shaft, and the endpoint of the staff tipped in gold. Twirling the staff, Khoshai grinned," Lookie! It's all red!" He said, showing off the staff.

Dain had been following the majin. As it seemed to be using a bit of his power and making a beeline towards him, it was a bit easier to track. It was still surprisingly difficult, as the power seemed to come from all sides, but his training was proving quite effective. It was a bit like playing hyper raquetball. The ball *Khosai´s Energy* bounced endlessly around him, but if one was careful you could track it and by deducing the angles, one could eventually find out where it originally started. Every since meeting Khosai and Ala, Dain had been practicing really hard in mastering this new skill set and it seemed he was getting better at it. The fact that he was not there yet was proven by the fact that he was almost caught of guard by Khosai´s flying hug. Just at the last seconds his eyes caught the incoming pink bullet that was heading straight for him. In a split second Dain shifted his weight slightly and positioned his feet instinctively to be able to deal with it. Still he was pushed backwards several meters as Khosai connected to his chest and a wave of pain shot through his chest. It was nothing to bad though and the sincere smile upon the boys face caught him instantly. Instead of merely catching the boy and slow him down, Dain used his power -thanking the gods he was actually powering up or this might have killed him dead- and the boys momentum to start spinning. He grabbed the boys arms and began spinning around his own axle, twisting at such speeds he was forming a small tornado around him. “KHOSAI!” He yelled out in delight as he sped up more, giving class 5 tornadoes a bout of envy about the speeds they were reaching. “I missed you too!” He said as, before he finally began to slow down. As he almost stopped he let go of Khosai, throwing the boy several feet away. “Oh? Now that is impressive!” Dain said with a grin as he braced himself, raising an arm in front of him to shield him from Khosai´s impressive power. It was true the boy had grown quite a bit and had the two them met like that at the tournament it could have gone quite differently. Of course the bout had been very interesting in the first place and driven Dain to train even harder. Recently he had upgraded his gravity machine to 724x Earth gravity and he was still pushing further. There was a form he was trying to achieve. His but with Khosai being one of the reasons he wanted to increase further. If such a small boy could almost best him, he needed to grow much stronger if he still wanted to be able to play once Khosaid grew up. Luckily he had improved as well. “Though I have been improving as well. Want to see?” Dain asked rhetorically as he already began. “You already knew my base form and my super Saiya-Jin form. I have been pushing my ascended state further though.” Dain said with a grin as he transformed into his basic super Saiya-Jin form and then spread his legs to go further. “T-HIS IS T-TO - TO GO BE-Y-YOND!!!” He said as he clenched his hands once more, digging his finger nails deep into his flesh. Small droplets of blood swelled up from the broken skin and signals of pain were send to his brain. Yet before they could reach his brain, completely overruled by his single desire for power. Every bit of his being searched for the power that slept deep within him. Even if he could transform at will, transforming to his maximum was quite a bit different. Blue thunder began to strike around him as his golden energy swell up to incredible new heights. His feet dug even deeper into the ground and as a scream left his mouth, a tidal wave of golden energy washed over him, engulfing anything in it´s path. His already impeccable muscles swell up even more and he actually grew a few inches. His stomach muscles popped out one by one, till your could grind wheat on it. The gray robe tore to shreds under his continues and the remains flew off into the distance. His hair spiked up even more and then everything started to convolute around him. Dust, light, wind, rain, anything near him got sucked into him as if he was the only source of gravity. His body began to pulse with a golden light and then he unleashed it all in a final gigantic scream. A light so bright it outshone the sun for a moment was released from Dain and then he stood there. His body converted into his lightning form. The air around him vibrant with pure golden energy and blue lightning. A serene look rested in his purely white eyes, aside from a few bolts of lightning burning in his eyes. “How about we play a bit and give that beautiful staff a test?” He said eagerly, feeling the clash between his own power and that of the boy. It excited him and at this moment there was nothing else he wanted more then play with Khosai. As he said it he held out his hand and summoned the blade the demoness Amatricina had crafted for him. It was a blade of pure Katchin, dyed golden like his aura and with a red ruby decorating the pummel. As he closed his hands around it, the blade reacted to his electricity and arcs of lightning began to run over the blade, crackling with the familiar sound. For a moment the air around the two grew silent as if the world was holding it´s breath for the showdown that was about to follow. The air itself trembled under their might and the ground was starting to crack. “By the way, how have you been?” Dain asked with a grin, as he raised his arm up towards Khosai and fired a relatively small KI-Blast to the boy, indicating he was ready. The fact that Dain received him so warmly and so happily only spurred the child to react all the more happily. As Dain caught him, Khoshai nearly died of laughter as he was spun around in the Saiyan's arms. So much so that he didn't even fully realize that the man was spinning him fast enough to stir up air currents. But hell, who cared about that?
In one fluid motion, Dain relinquished his hold on the boy, tossing the child into the air, and allowing him to fly freely in air. Khoshai giggled, letting himself freefall, before he allowed his Ki to cushion his body, allowing him to float. Once he righted himself, he proceeded to laugh, overjoyed by the situation and pleased that Dain was proud of him for training and becoming stronger. He wasn't exactly training for Dain, but Khoshai was a simple child, who liked to please those he liked. And when he did something he thought was "good", he desired praise for it. It made him feel good, and feel like he had accomplished something.
But nothing prepared him for what happened next.
With a roar, Dain Sincara powered up as well, showcasing a power that was leagues above what he exhibited when Kho and him had last fought. Dain's transformation was rather flashy, the golden waves of energy rippling off his muscular, yet slim frame, the aura only serving to compliment the matching frame. His power was also something to behold, his sheer energy output sending tremors through the air, the wind nearly knocking the small boy off his feet, if it weren't for his tail coiling up behind him and breaking his fall. However, it was easy enough to say that the boy was impressed. Dain wasn't the first Super Saiyan Khoshai had met, however. Khoshai's first experience with Super Saiyans had to be accredited to the warrior known as Null, who had first showcased the blonde haired transformation in another arena match, long before Khoshai had become well known at the Black Light Arena, where Dain and Khoshai had first fought.
To others across the galaxy, Super Saiyans were something to be feared and respected, due to their overall rarity, but Khoshai held a rather innocent, childish admiration for the golden warriors, and often wanted to emulate them, due to his relative friendliness with all three of them (even though Null didn't often reciprocate the kindness being offered). Nevertheless, Majin Khoshai offered his own kindness, and often made friends wherever he went, regardless of whether it was the world's biggest hero, or most gruesome killer.
But, either way, back to business, right? In a burst of power, Khoshai's aura buffeted around him, sending shockwaves across air, much as his counterpart was.
"Ready? Set! Go!" He cried out, before jumping onto the offensive. Suddenly, Khoshai's eyes would begin to emanate the same pink light as his aura exhibited, and he would grin wickedly as he exerted a sudden psychic force upon Dain. In a matter of moments, Dain would find himself surrounded in a purple cloud like aura, psychic energy rushing to wrap around him and paralyze him, keeping the Super Saiyan in stasis. Majin Khoshai wasted no time, vanishing and reappearing in front of Dain via Rapid Movement. The child would giggle wildly before his tail would flash across Dain's vision, the fuchsia colored appendage moving to tighten itself around the Saiyan's neck, hoisting him aloft, the tail extended so that it would be effectively strangling him while holding him suspended, and thus at Khoshai's mercy.
Regardless of whether the tail successfully restrained Dain or not, Khoshai would press onwards with his attack, throwing his head back before unleashing a rather loud and shrill scream, channeling his Ki to leave in powerful bursts out of his throat, amplifying the sonic waves and air waves tenfold, so that when they smacked into Dain, the impact force would be akin to being hit by a car. The Vice Shout, a technique that the boy had picked up from his "Big Sister", Majin Ala. The ability to amplify one's vocal projection to the point where one could rip open dimensional holes. While this one wasn't powerful enough to bring about such an effect, it still packed quite the wallop.

It was a rare contrast between the two of them. One a pink boy, the other a grizzly Saiya-Jin veteran. One made of an elastic, magical substance, the other made of flesh and blood. One a boy in age and behavior, the other a millennium old and… a boy in behavior. Perhaps it was that one thing that connected them. Even if Dain was old, all he was always looking for was to have fun. As they were standing there, it was enough to make the grin fade from his face. Instead it morphed into a gentle smile as he looked at Koshai. Perhaps it was the one thing about living too long. He had long learned that race, age, sex and looks mattered little to nothing. Personality was the only thing that mattered. As he stood there in front of Khosai, his robe and hair fluttering around him, he simply knew he liked the boy. He was innocent in a way, but Dain could not help but wonder how far the boy would go to have fun. It would be a stretch to say the two were alike, but at least the two of them shared there love for `playing´. The Saiya-Jin barely blinked as the boy set off. The pink aura caught him by surprise, he had rarely seen such a technique and it was almost strong enough to bind him completely. Just before Khosai´s tail managed to wrap itself around him though he managed to find a way to break free. Not completely, but by surrounding his own tail by a small mental forcefield he suddenly felt some wiggling room. His golden tail wriggled happily and a golden aura burned around it as it shot up, breaking the pink aura like a glass bubble, deflecting Khosai´s tail just in the nick of time. As the link aura cracked along the trail his tail had drawn, Dain released a roar, forcing his aura to exert itself. Golden flames exploded through the cracks, breaking the aura faster and faster, till exploded outward like a shockwave. A moment later he was free, only to be hit by some kind of force. He looked up, only to see the boy shouting at him, releasing sound waves so strong they actually hurt. In a reflex he raised his arms and crossed them in front of his face, just before the second `ripple´ hit him and he was send flying backwards. The ground cracked, dented and then crumbled as his body slammed into it. “Hey that is Ala´s technique!” Dain thought to himself as he was forced deeper into the ground. He had witness Ala´s technique and had considered it to be unique to hers, but either Khosai had managed to learn it, or it was inherent to the Majin. It mattered not. With some effort Dain finally managed to roll sideways, freeing him from the brunt of the attack. His left hand formed a fist, summoning his aura and raw power, as he extended his right hand. “Hellzone Grenade!” He yelled as he began firing countless blasts into the sky, his left arm joining after a moment to increase the load. It was actually a counter intuitive attack as he was actually trying to near miss Khosai, rather than hit him. As the air was filled with blasts he reached his arms out towards them and then pulled his arms together, as if he intended to hug the boy, causing all attacks to soar towards Khosai. Dain did not wait for the attack to end though, as he vanished from the crater he was sitting in and appeared above Khosai. A little bit of blood was running from his right ear, where the sound wave ruptured his ear drums and a few droplets were falling down his arms from scratches made by the attack. “Let´s play with some more friends.” He said with a grin as a black glow appeared around him for a moment, before his body seemingly split and four clones appeared. Within a moment they soared towards Khosai, ready to pummel him. A golden glow around their knuckles and a roar escaping their lips as the closed the distance. “That was a nasty attack, where did you learn that?” Dain asked curious, as he was throwing punches at his friend. They were just in the middle of their little playing, when suddenly Dain´s bracelet began to beep. Normally he might have ignored it, but there was something different about this. By design it could only beep, but somehow now it was also buzzing and emitting a bright red light. To say the least that had his curiosity piqued. The only instance he could think of who could do that was his AI and she knew all too well how much he hated it to be interrupted when he was playing. Last time she interrupted her he took apart one of her favorite toys.
Of course that was not truly punishment. He had just obtained a new tech schematic that would allow Petey to make an even better version. At the time though he had not told her, only several hours later he had -which is quite long, considering how much time AI´s have to think, compared to humans and their meat glacier thinking-. Dain was not a monster, but he seriously did not like his fun to be interrupted.
One look at his watch told him enough. It simply read Marshals. It meant trouble. It was the code word in the Ravager world for armed adversaries looking for them.
A moment later Petey appeared directly into his brain, transmitting a short burst of information regarding the details. “It seems law enforcement has tracked you down. Several armored and boosted squadrons are on their way towards you and the sixth carrier fleet is diverging on my position. According to my scans we have roughly fifty nine seconds before they arrive.” The female AI spoke in his brain.
Instantly Dain realized this had been a mistake. He should not have come here and played with the boy at full power. He was wanted by too many and far to many people began to recognize him in his current form due to his recent adventures.
For a moment he pondered, freezing in mid air, as he considered his options. Sure he could take out the fleet and these soldiers, but then what. More reinforcements would come and it would turn into a battlefield. There was a chance he would survive, but only to live it down in infamy. There was no glory to be won here…
“I am terribly sorry Koshai, but I got to run.” He said as he swallowed, mostly to hide his disappointment. He had been really looking forward to playing with the boy, but sadly it seemed like it was not meant to be. He wiped a few beads of sweat from his eyebrow and rolled his shoulder as he relaxed and powered down.
The hair blew through his long brown hair as he stood there, a few scrapes, but a grin plastered on his face. Even if it only lasted a moment, that was the most fun he had in a while.
Still there was a moment of sadness as well as he reached out for one of his black cigarettes and lit it. According to the message he still have about forty seconds before he should go. “It seems our little fun alerted the wrong people to my presence here… I guess we are too strong to play at full strength on this backwater planet…” He said as he filled his lunges with the black smoke, before exhaling it.
He wished there was something he could do to make it up to Koshai. Dain could not explain to himself why, but he felt a bit guilty about leaving the young man. He had come running after Dain had summoned him and now he was leaving him behind.
Suddenly an idea popped into his head. “Hey kiddo, why don´t I take you next time to Space Vegas? There are a lot of cool things there, like rides, shows and plenty of food.” Dain said with a grin as he reached into his pocket and pulled a small device from it. He just figured that if he was gonna play with the kid, he might as well do it in the role of crazy, irresponsible uncle. “I will contact you when everything has blown over.” He said with a grin before quickly tossing the device to the majin.
In the distance he could feel the presence of the task force approaching, which meant his time was up. He quickly waved goodbye to his friend, gave him a last smile, before pressing the button on his bracelet.
A moment later his figure disappeared, teleported up onto his warship in orbit. A few orders later the engines were firing up and his ship vanished into a hyperspace window, just before the carrier fleet could arrive and start placating fire upon them.
“Petey, that was too close. I want you to start creating a device that suppresses my power. I want it embedded in my body and limit my power to one percent of my maximum.” He said after a few moments, finally making the decision he had been thinking about for so long. It was time he started limiting his power. Truly it was getting annoying to play with people if he always kept drawing attention.
