NAME: Duke Satan
RACE: Earthling (Human)

HEIGHT/WEIGHT: 6'1 feet tall/ 208 lbs
APPEARANCE: Duke Satan shares a striking resemblance with his with his long distance relative, the original Hercule Satan. He possesses a strong jawline, with a perfect smile not unlike the original. Duke's skin is a darker tan, which compliments his deep blue eyes. He even possesses similar curly black hair, but it is much shorter than his long distant great uncle's. A couple other very defining features include his extremely bushy eye brows and mustache. As for the clothing he typically wears, Duke tends to wear a traditional brown martial arts gi with a white cape almost identical to Hercule's. When he if fighting however, he wears a specially made battle armor under his white cape that allows him to withstand super human level attacks.
MOTIVATIONS:
Uphold his Legacy. More than anything, Duke Satan seeks to become just a famous and heroic as his long gone great uncle Hercule. The world champion is a title he would like to gain more than anything, and he has already won a couple of tournaments. In his mind the only people who should be allowed to hold the championship belt should be member of the Satan family bloodline. If it was not for the heroic deeds of his great uncle, the world would have been obliterated by cell a long time ago for kami's sake. Let's not forget the time he defeated majin buu either, or the time he went toe to toe with the god of destruction Beerus!
Achieve Mass Fame. Though Duke has already gained a small fan base from being a descendant of the Satan bloodline, he is even more of a glory hound than his great uncle. He wants everyone on the planet to remember the Satan name, and show everyone he is the worlds strongest, not these lightweights with golden hair and tails. All this Ki stuff is just cheap tricks after all! He is the one who possesses true strength and wants everyone to know it!
It's all a trick! Despite ki wielding martial artists becoming more common over the past few centuries, Duke refuses to believe a word of it. He believes the last five hundred years have all been some kind of elaborate conspiracy to undermine the deeds of his great family.
Luxury. The final thing Duke seeks is money. He wants to live the high life while also being the strongest man alive. Money is the only way he can do this. Though he has a small pool of wealth, he has spent most of it to change himself into a more formidable combatant
QUIRKS:
Cocky and Arrogant. Duke holds the same views as the Original Hercule, all this magical ki stuff is just a bunch of baloney. It must be a mix of cheap parlor tricks and advanced technology brought to earth by the various alien races. This causes him to severally underestimate his foes, especially since he upgraded his bag of tricks.
Master of Excuses. When a situation occurs that would make him look bad, Duke typically knows just what to say to convince everyone they misunderstood the situation. He is very charismatic when dealing with the press and onlookers of fights this way.
BONDS:
Desmond. Unlike the original Hercule, Duke has few people he truly calls his friends, but among those he does consider friends is one man he met back in high school. Desmond, a skinny brown haired earthling who went on to become a professional photographer. He was hired by Duke a long time ago to document his exploits as a fighter. Desmond is typically quite cowardly, but is comforted by the fact that Duke is always near by.
BACKSTORY:
Duke Satan was born in the world renowned Satan city to his father and mother, Will and Samantha Satan. By this time, the Satan family was still well regarded for their family's saving of the world many years ago, and Duke grew up with immense family pride for his great uncle's accomplishments. Truth be told, Hercule was not really his great uncle, but Duke knew that. Hurcule was more or less his great great great uncle, and so on. Things continued as normal until Duke reached the age of seven.
When he did, he would notice people slowly stop talking about his family for the first time in hundreds of years. These new golden haired martial artists were all the rage nowadays. From this young age, Duke swore he would some day become a martial artist and defeat every one of those guys who used those fancy tricks they called ki. Ever since that day, Duke would train mentally, and physically to become as strong as he could without learning that overrated ki stuff.
As the years passes by Duke would eventually manage to win a few martial arts tournaments, and even manage to gain a small press following. He was a descendant of the great Mr. Satan after all. Now with the press at his back he would pronounce to the world "These Saiyan guys are just a joke! Five hundred years ago my great uncle Hercule Satan, yes the Hercule Satan, defeated cell and saved the planet. Do you know how he did it? Not with this Ki hogwash! But with years of training and hard work. I Duke Satan hereby solemnly swear that I will challenge each and every one of this tricksters to combat, and defeat every last one!"
So, Duke would set off on a journey to defeat any and all martial artists that claimed to wield ki, to prove that it was all a cheap trick. He would not leave without getting properly equipped however. Duke would call up an engineer of Capsule Corp he knew, and wire over half his family's fortune to have the man construct a suit of armor that would help him stand up to the likes of the golden haired freaks. The Engineer would oblige, and designed a war suit unlike any other. While wearing the suit Duke's natural strength would be multiplied many times over allowing him to punch and kick harder than many ki users. The suit would also be retrofitted with hidden gadgets that would help give duke the edge while fighting. These systems include but are not limited too: Rocket Boots for flight, A power level detection system, an AI assistant, and a Utility belt full of surprises. The suit would be worn under the Satan family cape, the very same cape that once belonged to the original world champ Hercule.
CALL TO ACTION:
Duke had been fighting since he was twelve years old, and had always planned to someday leaving home and defeating all those chumps who used ki. His call to action finally happened when he won his third martial arts tournament, and proved to himself he could accomplish anything.

ENERGY SHIELD (Force Field): Duke presses a button located on the chest piece of his metal armor. This causes a force field of a plasma-like energy to surround him. (Defense/Activate Bonus Action - Reactive/-15 ki)
Effect: As a bonus action you gain 20 toughness. Limit: Once per battle.
Satan’s Legacy (Super Attack): Duke uses his technologically enhanced arms and legs to recreate one of Mr. Satan's classic trademarked techniques such as the Dynamite Kick, or the Megaton Punch! (Barrage/Piercing/20 ki)
