NAME: Ramon
RACE: Saiyan-Human Hybrid (Dominant Saiyan Genetics)
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Height/Weight: Ramon is 5'7 and weighs 150 pounds
Base Power Level: 20,550
Appearance:
If there was anything Ramon inherited from his human side, it was his build in body shape. Physically, he is the average height of a fifteen year-old male human. But when it comes to weight, he exceeds that of a normal human with the same age and gender. But the difference between him and the average humans is that the majority of his weight comes from muscle. After having trained for such a long time, it's no wonder this was the result. But his Saiyan genetics are far more evident than that of his human genes. Just like most Saiyans he has long, pointy black hair. But in a weird tradition on his father's side of the family, Ramon had black rings tattooed on the edges of his eyes.
But his shape isn't the only thing he inherited from his human side. While it's true that he also received his mother's blue eyes, he also received a similar taste in fashion. It might be because of his upbringing on Earth, but it doesn't change what he finds good looking. While he has the taste of humans, the clothing he wears is far more practical when it comes to his goals.
Below everything he wears, Ramon wears a black skin-tight suit. It's mainly for cosmetic purposes, but it does help whenever he decides to fight without his weighted clothes. Although, this is unlikely to happen o ften. Over the suit, Ramon wears a simple white t-shirt. This t-shirt is implanted with weights in the fabric, allowing him to get a continuous workout just by having it on. Over that, he wears a deep blue jacket that only reaches down to his waist. The hood of the jacket is a lighter blue and the pockets are black. Similar to that of his shirt, this jacket is weighted as well.
Resting on his lower half, Ramon wears a pair of black gi bottoms held up by a deep blue belt and a pair of blue sneakers. All of which are weighted like his shirt and jacket. Before he had left home, Ramon had been gifted these pieces of clothing from his mother. She had told him a story of how her father, Ramon's human grandfather, had worn a similar set when he took part in several of Earth's Martial Arts tournaments in the past. He had accepted them with grace, taking it as the last gift he'd be receiving from her. After all, he didn't think he would be coming home anytime soon.
Motivations: With his Saiyan genetics, Ramon has a deep desire to become stronger now that he doesn't have anything holding him back. He's always had this desire, but he never really had the opportunity to expand on it. While this is partially due to his studies, it also stemmed from his lack of knowledge on where to start.. But now that he was alone, he was presented a shining opportunity that's been sitting in front of him the entirety of his lifetime. Well, the short lifetime he's had.
While this has become his main motivation, he still hopes to find his father. But considering the amount of time he's been absent, he might be off traveling the stars at this point. But that hasn't deterred Ramon from what, in his eyes, is a sort of side-quest.
Quirks: Ramon is a confident spirit and rarely shows signs of indecision. This can come off as boastful and possibly even reckless, but Ramon can't help but hide his personality. He wears who he is on his sleeve like a badge of honor, believing he's living up to the Saiyan's of old and their Saiyan Pride.
While it's true that Ramon is a bit boastful, he does find enjoyment in others and the company they provide. He finds people quite interesting, as there is so much to learn about a singular person. He finds it quite fun to learn more about a person, but this leads to him becoming attached to others in a dramatically quick fashion. He hates to see those he identifies as friends fall under problems that they may not be able to handle. He wants to be as useful as possible for not only his friends, but for himself.
Bonds: Throughout his life, Ramon was raised with two major bonds. The first of which was his mother, Cynthia
Cynthia: Cynthia is a kind and generally open person. When she married Amato, she was well aware of the stigma of the Saiyans of old. But despite this, she still found him as a great husband.
When it comes to her son, Cynthia is quick to scold him. She's always wanted to see the best of her son, and she's always wanted to see her soon excel in whatever he finds himself doing. So when Ramon decided to leave home to pursue his goals, Cynthia found herself incapable of stopping him. In fact, she encouraged his choice, and even stated that she believed in him.
Amato: Amato is a pure blooded Saiyan, and has always looked to become stronger. But when he met Cynthia, his priorities had been shifted. He hadn't expected anyone to treat a Saiyan like himself with any form of respect, especially not some random human. He took his chance and married her, leading to the birth of Ramon.
Once Ramon was ready, Amato started pushing his son to his limits, trying to train him to be even stronger than he was. During training, he was fairly brutal with his son. He was somewhat successful, considering his son's power was far greater than most beings on the planet. But he never got to see his son get stronger, considering his sudden disappearance.
Backstory: Ramon had been raised similar to that of an average human on the plant Earth. But unlike most, he had been raised training off and on with his father, Amato. With their dynamic as Saiyans, Amato was quite brutal with Ramon. He had wanted his son to become even more powerful than himself, and he had openly admitted it several times.
This lead to him being somewhat versed in the art of combat. He didn't experience too many problems in school even though he was of an alien race. As he continued to grow up however, he would find it increasingly hard to keep up in school. He couldn't find it in himself to do well academically. The only places he could excel in were areas involving more physically involved.
But it was also around this time that Amato had gone missing. It had been a silent disappearance during the middle of a random night. There had been no warning, just his sudden vanishing. It was only the next morning that Ramon and his mother, Cynthia, found him gone. Even after searching for months, they came up with nothing. Ramon refused to believe he was gone, and he promised to bring him back home.
Call to Action: The disappearance of his father is what originally led Ramon to leave home, but the idea of being on his own led him to search for strong opponents and to become stronger through battle with such opponents. Through this thought process, the plan to find Amato has become more and more irrelevant.
