If there was one thing Amatricina did not like among the mortals, it was machines. Automatons, cold, emotionless beings that walked and talked in mockery of the living. They did not have souls, she could not read their sins and emotions. It was irksome, irritating even. The Mark I had been like that, but the armored titan was another entity all together. The Demon Lord had come to this cursed planet, known as Arcose, for a great number of reasons. Chief among them she was hunting the Super Saiyan from the Mark I's recordings. She wished to know more of the powerful transformation the warrior race could undergo, and deigned to deal with the so-called 'Saiyan Dominion' while acting as a ranking Crusher Corps commander. Or was it the Saiyan Kingdom these days? Amatricina vaguely remembered the Mark I showing her a live broadcast of the Queen of Ape's decree. Either way, it mattered little. Mortal governments rose and fell by the century, Amatricina had seen more turn to dust in her long life than she cared to count. Many more would topple in the millennia to come. At present the demoness walked the streets of Arcose studying the horrid local populace. A mixed collection of xeno races, it was hard to distinguish which among them was the original race of the planet. It was a melting pot of species, seemingly a misbegotten trade hub for a myriad of races. They flocked to this world to buy all manner of technological curiosities. Armor, weapons, star ships, gadgets, even relics of a more arcane nature. All seemed to readily flow through Arcose, the life blood of the dying world. The planet itself had little else to offer, its entire surface was a vast endless cityscape. It had continent sized sections seemingly abandoned or in disrepair, still scarred by battles from eons ago. Amatricina doubted the world would ever recover. Its very air was so heavily polluted most inhabitants wore masks that covered their faces and mouths to shield them from the chemical smog. Those that didn't appeared to be particularly resilient xenos, or various artificial life forms. Kamui had called himself a cyborg when he yet lived, if you could call that state 'living.' Mark I had used the term 'Android' for his own appearance. And a much stranger creature hailing from earth, Hondrias, had proclaimed to be a 'bio-android.' Amatricina cared little what that meant, crushing the beast like the insect it was daring to call it her 'kin' for sharing her dna. Amatricina herself was incognito at the moment, a great rarity for the demon. Her normal great cloak had been transfigured into a shroud and good that wrapped round her curvaceous form and covered even her great crown of horns as she lifted it over her head. Her scandalous armor hidden away beneath her shawl as she wandered the largest bazaar in the capital city. It was little better than a city sized junkyard to the demoness, but in truth it was a vast sprawling plaza that sold technological goods of every make and model from all across the galaxy. Everything from ancient tuffle nanosuits to self proclaimed pieces of the Big Gete Star could be found as far curiosities here. Androids and other souless machines trading zeni or parts for components. Most looking eager to augment their mechanical forms further. The demon watched it all with idle fascination. Such a place should be teeming the stench of greed, avarice, and envy. But such a high percentage of the attendants lacked souls, and therefore organic minds, she could sense only a fraction of the 'expected' emotion and sin. Still, this was the closest Amatricina had been to a peaceful congregation of mechanical beings. It was a good learning experience for her. As the demon sat, ladylike with one leg crossed over the other, she couldn't help but notice she was the curiosity here. One of the few beings who was clearly not a machine, yet wore no respiration equipment or self contained suit. The atmosphere of Monsigneus was far harsher than these wretch world's pollution could offer. But it was slightly, unnerving have so many artificial sets of eyes wander over her form. She new they silently studied her, running their formulas and calculations. Just as the Mark I proudly declared each time it studied her movements and formulated its theories. Worse, the demon could not sense the power levels of these artificial creations. They did not use ki that living beings did. There was no good ki, no evil ki, no demonic ki, and certainly no godly ki. Just... artificial energy that she could not sense. It kept the demoness on edge. She would not tally here for much longer, she had seen more than enough to make her conclusions.

Arcose.
To be fair, Kaijin preferred Tech Tech.
However, amongst the technological empires of the galaxy, Arcose was ranked pretty highly, as were the Tech Tech, and to a lesser degree, the Tuffles, where-ever they happened to be right now. Arcose was known for centuries to be an intergalactic technology hub, where thousands of species gathered to peruse the wares of the innovative species.
It was an interesting world, and it attracted scores of brilliant minds, artificial minds that was. It was rather difficult to ascertain the good doctor's opinions when it came to other artificial beings. As he was, they didn't exhibit the same traits as sentient, organic beings did. While some took the time and effort to imitate the behavior and traits of a chosen organic species, Kaijin, along with orders, reveled in their difference and made little to no attempt to truly assimilate. Nonetheless, the good doctor often found himself avoiding his fellow Androids, if he could help it. Not out of any sense of animosity, but more out of a lack of point to it. As much as Kaijin was artificial in any sense of the word, in a twisted way, his thoughts were for the very organics he was initially programmed to serve, and sought to improve and elevate the organic form, to protect humanity and save society, by keeping organics from destroying themselves. Where did artificial creations like he fit in the overall scheme of things? Tools to make that happen.
Very powerful tools.
Regardless, as Kaijin sauntered through the streets of a busy Arcose street, he couldn't help but observe the various vendors placing their wares on display, fancy pieces of tech with rather big, intricate names and even more intricate backstories as to why this hunk of metal was different from all the other hunks of metal. While other automatons were practically drooling over themselves to purchase such, the synthetic scientist merely breathed a sigh and moved on. His scanners could read and process the makeup of the components in mere seconds, and in a few more seconds the Android could conclude that he could piece together a better amalgamation of technology in about ten minute if given the necessary materials to do so. He was looking for alien technology to integrate into his own systems, yes, but that didn't mean he had to pick up every single piece of space trash on the planet and graft it to his already functional body simply because it wasn't Earth trash. The good doctor was a tough customer, and few possessed the quality to be worth even a fraction of the doctor's time.
Maybe Arcose wasn't right for him after all.
Just when Kaijin was about to quit his two hour long search through the various street vendors and small scale companies set up throughout the city, a power reading flashed over his sensors. Normally, such would be considered rather normal, for there were a great deal of sentient organics amongst the synthetic creations in this market, all of them sporting some form of power, with the local Arcosians possessing an average power level of one thousand, according to recent planet census accounts. But, it was the sheer amount of power, along with the classification of the power that interested the scientist. His detection system was of a unique variety, built to be one of the most high powered of today's technology, at the time he was built, of course. Since such, Kaijin had made frequent upgrades to his own technology, improving the efficiency, sensory range, acute data recognition and accuracy, leaving for a very small percentage of error, bound to grow ever smaller as Kaijin continued to upgrade.
Following a digital marker across his field of vision, Kaijin turned his head briefly, searching through the crowds, focusing on a single woman, cloaked, her form greatly shrouded from view, sitting nearby. He could not make out her physical features, but he did not need to, in order to make a conclusion. When it came to Kaijin encountering a member of a certain species, their physical features and Ki Signatures were saved into the database to serve as a reference for the Android when dealing of other individuals of the same species, for there were, most of the time, as many similarities as they were differences between different individuals of the same species. Hell, sometimes there were more similarities when it came to biological makeup.
A similar result was present with this woman, which made her demonic origin soon become clear to the Android whose strange red eyes were fixated on Amatricina.
Kaijin had only come into contact with two demons in his lifetime, which was much more than most individuals came into contact with in their whole lifetime. One was a brief meeting with the strange, lanky demon known as Azazel, in which their meeting proved rather....pointless. The other one had a much more profound impact on the early days of Kaijin's exposure to the world. Kazabada-Kavra. The blue skinned demon had bought Kaijin's services from Doctor Janus, and had scooped the Android to assist in his ragtag group of elite warriors for his bid on Earth. The demon's goals were never recognized before Kaijin ran off to pursue his own agenda, but the limited time he spent with Kavra allowed Kaijin the opportunity to learn quite a great deal about demon physiology, along with grant him prolonged exposure to demonic energy, thus giving Kaijin a fairly detailed reference sheet to refer to when it came to the otherwordly species.
While each demon was different in physiology, they gave off the same demonic energy that was present with all of their kind, the likes of which was unique to those who dwelled in the Demon Realm for at least some portion of their lives. Due to his prolonged exposure, the Android was capable of picking up, recognizing and reaching a swift conclusion when it came to people of demonic origin. Their kind had always interested the good doctor, for there was so much about otherwordly species that had yet to be discovered. Their appearance so rare amongst the mortal realm, and their bodies so rarely examined in full, most textbooks and doctoral dissertations omitted them entirely, seeing the incorporation of demon and god physiology to be utterly pointless.
Perhaps one day, he could change that. One step at a time. But, it was clear the good doctor was interested in his newfound playmate for the day.
His long blue overcoat swished behind him as his footsteps resonated on the ground as he began to make his way over to the woman. As was customary with Androids, the good doctor exhibited no Ki Signature. His artificial energy core provided Kaijin with a different source of energy, that could compare perfectly against the natural Ki most organics utilized, but flowed in a way that others could not detect it.
"Arcose has been known to attract species from all realms of the galaxy, drawing in even the most foreign of beings and androids. However, if I were to pull up their census right now, I doubt I would find a demoness in their racial spreadsheet. How intriguing." The Android spoke, his cold, emotionless voice resonating smoothly from his lips as he addressed Amatricina.
"I am Doctor Kaijin Vex, and you are a demon. A pleasure."

Kaijin Vex did not command Amatricina's attention as he walked through the crowd. He was just another face among the many. Another silent, empty presence among so many artificial being. When he drew close enough though, the demoness realized he was walking directly towards her. The being had the appearance of a child, or near enough one she did not care to make the distinction. Even among this world of machines and men, this being looked out of place. Different, almost familiar in a way. Amatricina shuck aside such notions, the being that approached her was just some android. Certainly not the reincarnated spirit of a warrior she had once called ally. When the man introduced himself as Kaijin Vex, speaking his piece, Amatricina could only raise an eyebrow questioning to the android at his spiel. Were this Earth, and some mortal earthling had pointed such an obvious truth out, she'd have torn out their throat for blowing her cover. Amatricina remembered she was not in any guise, moreover she had her power level reduced to a bare minimum. And yet, this creature before her seemed to instantly identify her. How long had he studied her? Or was his knowledge that expansive of her kind? "Hmmm... You would be correct, Child." The demoness said simply, closing her eyes and relaxing her posture. She was in no mood for violence, not currently that is. If this Kaijin irritated her, that would swiftly change her thoughts on the matter. "Demon Lord." Amatricina corrected the good doctor, lifting a hand to reveal her gilded gauntlet out from under her cloak. She wagged a golden talon, ruby insets glimmering in the haze light as she winked coyly. "Though I doubt you can name my clan. Tell me Doctor, you strike me as no healer. What medicine do you practice, or... if you are the other kind, what science do you claim expertise in? I will grant you my name and titles once you have answered my questions. Now please, take a seat." Amatricina patted the stone bench besides her, not so much as moving a muscle. "I was just about to leave, but you've slated my curiosity. Tell me Kaijin Vex, how much do you truly know of demons?" At her words, the Demoness' eyes glowed with a malevolent crimson light. Amatricina was intrigued, very intrigued. And with little better on this polluted world to command her interests, one strange doctor would be enough to entertain her for a few moments anyways.

So his assumption was correct. Not that he doubted it wasn't, but it was always nice to hear that she was indeed what he told her he was, for it just meant the data accumulated for his reference sheet, when it came to demonic auras, was correct, and could be used with confidence in the future.
Nonetheless, what was to happen now? Under normal circumstances, he would've inquired as to whether he could collect the demon's DNA for his studies, but after some...adventurous dealings on Tech Tech, the Android was in no demand for that specific race's genetic material. At least not yet. If the initial utilization did not provide sufficient rewards, then of course he would be looking for different sources of DNA, but that was conversation for a later date.
As the demon....ahem, Demon Lord, spoke her piece, Kaijin's hand drifted down to his pockets. He spent a moment rummaging through his pockets as if searching for something. After a few moments, he revealed what seemed to be a small flask, full of a brown liquid. Unscrewing the top, wisps of steam rose from the inside, showing that the contents inside were still piping hot.
Freshly made Hot Chocolate, with little marshmellows inside for flavor. To the Android scientist, it appeared to be a small taste of heaven. Tipping his head back, Kaijin took a deep swig of the lovely beverage, savoring the sweet flavor. The sweet aroma drifted around his frame slightly before he capped it, slipping the flask back into his pocket. Only then, did he deem it fit to speak.
"I have little to no official credentials to offer, however credentials are simply pieces of paper in print, with a signature from a random man or woman, only given value through blind faith. My title is a result of my knowledge. I can be a medical doctor, if I am called to be, for I have committed more medical encyclopedias to my data-banks, ranking me as more than qualified in various fields of medicine, ranging from family practice to neural surgery. As I travel to various planets, I absorb large quantities of data into my systems, making me even more familiar with the physiology of various alien species, allowing me the ability to potentially operate on anyone, should the need arise. However, that is not my prerogative. My chosen field is scientific innovation, in the realm of technological innovation and bio-engineering, allowing me the means to complete feats of engineering one can only dream of. From artificial life, to medicine that can cure rare diseases, to performance enhancing stimulants and cybernetics. If provided the means to work, I am confident in my ability to create anything."
A confident claim to make, however the good doctor had good grounds to make the claims on. He had written so many plans in various notebooks, various blueprints for plans, that sit collecting dust in his possession, simply because he did not have the funds and the means to act on them. However, if his plans with Lute and Kuueru truly did work out, he would certainly gain everything he needed to make his claims a reality....and more.
Moving slowly to take a seat, his intense red gaze settled upon her frame, analyzing her further, saving her features to his database. He had a male external body reference to compare to when identifying demons, and now he needed a female. He also noted that the difference between Amatricina, Azazel, and Kavra, were quite....drastic. It raised the question that perhaps there were different variations of demons, whose physiology and genetic traits differed between different species of demons, yet shared enough similarities, perhaps through the genus, that there were still a good deal of genetic similarities.
It was cause for experimentation.
"I was once recruited by a blue skinned demon male, by the name of Kazabada-Kavra. I do not know much about his official demon ranking or of what species variation he was within your realm, but he commanded quite a great deal of imp followers, and ultimately recruited me, back before my evolution, to serve him in his bid to conquer Earth. My association with him, prior to his disappearance, awarded me with quite the great deal of knowledge on his physiology, as well as demonic energy readings, which allow me to compare the data on his energy to other classifications of similar energy, allowing me to successfully categorize demons. You are the second one I have been able to correctly identify after the reference sheet was correctly configured."
"However....I am afraid that my knowledge of the greater intricacies of demonic culture and of physiology between demons is limited to my observations. I have yet to study and interview one completely. Perhaps, a demon lord such as yourself can oblige in this study?" Kaijin inquired, his right eyebrow raising as he asked the question, the Android moving to sit next to the demoness as she commanded.

Amatricina let of a soft 'hmph' at the good doctor's long winded explanation. She raised an armored gauntlet to gently rub her chin as she mused. Aside from idle boasting, she didn't really have any reason to doubt the stranger. Unfortunately, she couldn't sense the sin in the man's heart to feel if he had pride to match his words. There was no soul within this machine, as human as it looked its flesh was false, and likely only circuits and steel lied beneath the surface. It was not even like the Mark I, where there was a mortal soul trapped dwelling within an armored skin of sorts. Kaijin it seemed, was a living doll. One step above the maintenance drones that tirelessly serviced the interior of the Omnipotence. A machine with free will, what a foolish notion. Somewhere, deep inside his artificial mind, Amatricina reckoned he was still following some vestige of his programming. He may think otherwise, but his thoughts, his being, had been created by another. He was a puppet on a string, no matter how thin and distant that string must seem. "Quite the list of accomplishments then, Doctor Kaijin Vex, was it?" She replied sincerely, in little mood for anything more heated than pleasant conversation. "A shame I did not meet you sooner. My depths of expertise lies in magic, not science. I leave technology to the scholars of my clan. The Lord-High Researcher can tinker with his toys, sit at his computer monitors, and carve open fresh corpses to study. I am a sorceress, like my mother before me. I find far more power in the arcane than the mundane. That said, I have met several... artificial beings that were not entirely unlike yourself. Do not attempt to lie to me either Doctor, I can sense the souls of living beings... or the absence of them." Amatricina shifted slightly in her seat, turning to better face the android. At least, that was what she presumed Kaijin Vex to be. If he was a cyborg, like Lord Kamui had been, there would have still been a mortal soul within him. Since he was void of such, and had ki she could not sense, he was a being of precisely zero magic maintaining his mechanical body. An android, a mortal creation, a synthetic man. "Anyways, in the past I have had run ins, less than pleasant run ins no less... with several artificial beings on the planet known as Earth. The first called itself Hondrias, a self titled 'bio-android'. It claimed to be the culmination of the cells and genetic material of the greatest warriors in the last five hundred years. It was not, or at least I am greater than they were. It met the searing claws on my gauntlet, and no longer walks among the living. The other, is a being that claims to be from a different universe that was destroyed eons ago. I doubt this entirely, there is but one universe, though many dimensions within it. So perhaps it simply confuses the terms. Regardless, it stated it was once a living thinking being, with a mortal soul. In order to survive the destruction it faced, it transformed its mind and body into computer code. It called itself a Virus, and in that form, as pure digital information it was able to escape the destruction around it. When this Virus appeared in this dimension, by whatever means, it latched itself to the first machine it came in contact with. I know not what that machine is or was, but it was overcome by the virus and reshaped into a new body for its host. This... amalgamation refers to itself as the Mark I, and claims its sole purpose is to become more durable, more resistant, stronger in every imaginable way. I assume so that its original destruction can never be recreated and it will live eternally." Amatricina paused, letting out a long sigh. The Mark I vexed her, but it had pledged itself to her in exchange for her knowledge of magic. For better or worse, it was as close as she had to an independent ally of her own. Amatricina raised her arms and arched her back, giving a mighty stretch. "That was rather long winded, you get that way when you have lived eighteen hundred and sixty years. I never thought I'd become just like my Mother. I suppose she was right in the end after all, she always was..." The demoness rolled her head, neck cracking as she eased muscles that had grown stiff from sitting so long. "Anyways Doctor Kaijin, the Mark I is a being unlike any I have ever met, and I predate many mortal cultures. If your expertise is as vast as you claim, you would have been a welcome adviser in dealing with the metal titan himself. But, at the moment I have sent my herald deep into the depths of space in search of a relic to appease me. His penance for slaying my previous acolyte, who's name I'm sure you would not know..." The demoness drifted off, daydreaming for a moment about that fated battle between the Mark I and Lord Kamui on earth's moon. The fingers on her right hand twitched briefly, as she remembered plunging her claws deep into Kamui's chest to wrench out his heart. It was all in the past now. It seemed Kaijin Vex was in a storytelling mood as well. He recounted his tale of his own run ins with the being he spoke to. As Amatricina had encountered living machines, Kaijin had in turn encountered demons. "Kazabada-Kavra..." She repeated, tapping a finger to her plump lips. "Hmmmm... I am unfamiliar with the name. But there are several prominent clans who use a similar naming structure in their culture." Her eyes flashed a brilliant crimson shine when Kaijin commented he did not know the official hierarchy of demons. Amatricina cleared her throat, a wide smile on her face as she began to speak. "There is no one 'official' ranking of demons. We follow strength, and through strength, leadership. The Demon Realm is chiefly organized into the Demon Realm Clans. There are countless clans, ranging in size from simple warbands who are little better than collections of miscreants to mighty kingdoms that span whole star systems, ruled over by powerful Demon Lords. That is what I am, as Warlord of the Fire Demon Clan I style myself as a Demon Lord." Amatricina placed a hand on her chest, looking rather haughty as she spoke of her own titles. "Within a clan the internal hierarchy varies as greatly as the appearance of different races of demons. Beneath the title of Warlord in my clan comes the Supreme Commander of the Fire Demon Army, beneath him the High Admiral of the Fire Demon Navy, and so on and so forth through the various stations of my war council. There are also Generals who command my legions, ranking officers who command subdivisions of the legions, and naturally the common soldier beneath them. We also have several vassal clans that serve under us. They are lesser races of demons who chose subservience to destruction, and now pledge themselves to the Obsidian Throne. Beneath the vassal demons who are all by accounts second class citizens comes the slave castes. Those who are taken forcibly as spoils of war or bartered on as goods. This includes the Imps of which this Kazabada-Kavra possessed. Imps are possibly the most common race of demons. They come in many varieties, adapting quickly to their masters. They have a kind of... magical symbiosis I suppose. Our Fire Imps are more resistant to the intense heat and noxious gases of our world. It makes them ideal chattel to toil in the mines deep below the planet's surface."Amatricina looked truly content speaking at length about her clan. It was perhaps her favorite guilty pleasure. "Whoever this Kazabada-Kavra was, he could easily procure large numbers of imps if he was a demon of any noteworthy standing within his clan. Or, if he found a demon planet populated by imps not yet subjugated by another clan. They have a power level of a mere... two hundred or so? The strongest I've seen pushed five hundred, but he was an imp chieftain before my brother Raigu crushed his skull beneath his boot." Amatricina remembered that day fondly. Their dread father Tartaros had tasked them with subjugating a tribe of imps discovered hiding in an old lava tunnel on Monsigneus. She had been only a mere hundred and thirty or so years old. Children, on their first real taste of battle. They had crushed many skulls, her brothers found the sound of imp brain matter forced through their eye sockets as their skulls caved into be hilarious. The Brood of Tartaros had been triumphant, no the surprise of no one but Imp Shamans. The Demon Lord sighed wistfully. "Ah... to be young again. Free from responsibility. Just eat, sleep, train, study, and kill. I can barely find time for all of it these days." She turned to gaze into the piercing eyes of the android as he asked her about further study. "You have me in a good mood Doctor, getting me to wax poetic about my youth. I agree, I will oblige in your study. If, in exchange you will agree to study the Mark I for me someday, as I may better understand the enigma that is my armored fighting titan. Agreed?" The demoness extended a hand out from under her shawl. Ruby lightning crackling from her fingertips and the heat of an open fire emanating from her gauntlet. "We shake on the agreement, that is the universal symbol for a pact, is it not?" She stated, raising her own eyebrow sharply. "One more thing darling. This will be a purely oral study. If you so much as utter one word about inspecting my body I will turn this city into a burning ruin, and see just how strong you are beneath that hidden power level."

It was rather fortunate he didn't ask.
Kaijin wasn't one for battle. In fact, he never decided to engage in conflict unless the battle was, in some way, in his terms. At least, as far as he could help it. However, Kaijin wasn't affected by the blatant rejection of any DNA samples being taken. As much as Amatricina proclaimed herself as a fire demon, Kaijin had the demonic DNA he needed to test for now. Whether or not he would need more, had yet to be seen. And if he did...well, he was sure that, with the amount of demons he's encountered over his short lifespan, that there were plenty enough in this mortal realm. Some that were more agreeable.
Besides, he needn't ruin this opportunity merely because the woman refused for her blood to be taken. She was offering historical and philosophical knowledge regarding a culture he had never observed for himself. Why would he pass that up? Knowledge was knowledge, after all.
Also, it didn't really help that he was apparently lumped into a category of other, lesser artificial beings that she had come into less than desirable interactions with. He had no idea who this "Hondrias" was, this name in particular striking the Android in an odd way for having claimed genetic ancestry of some of the world's greatest fighters. Kaijin had little interest in ancient relics of the past, such as the legendary Z Fighters, which is why he never pursued their DNA himself in the past. However, he was rather offended that such a amalgamation of cells combined into a single being would even attempt to claim to be the perfect warrior. Especially given the fact that Amatricina boasted to have crushed him so trivially.
Then there was the prospect of alien technology, from a seemingly different universe altogether, having converted its' consciousness and soul into computer code, and traveled across dimensions to this universe before latching itself to a physical host, in the form of another machine. While Kaijin had toyed with various scientific theories as to the existence of alternate universes, modern science had yet to have accumulated enough concrete evidence to support the definite existence of other universes. Despite this, Kaijin was always one for scientific breakthroughs, so he didn't automatically throw away the possibility of this Mark I's claim being from another universe, as Amatricina had done. If the opportunity allowed, he would do sufficient study on this Virus, and determine the truth.
"As for the Bio-Engineered Amalgamation you called "Hondrias" there are many machines who claim to be the pinnacle of strength, the perfect being. However, gene selection offers nothing more than an advantage, it is not the deciding factor. Many creations view themselves as superior because of gene selection. Just as many of the mechanical variant view themselves as elite due to programmed strength and algorithms. I am aware of organic ingenuity and creativity, and my biggest boon lies in my ability to adapt. I do not sit complacent in my own ability, I seek active improvement, and to learn from organics, not dismiss them. However, the woes of the forgotten are not my concern..." Kaijin dismissed nonchalantly.
"As for the being known as Mark I...I would be interested in studying him. If he is truly what he claims, the discovery of a sentient being from another universe would open up the realm as we know it. Even if he is not of another universe, his origins would prove beneficial to me, given the circumstances of his evasion from death. Thus, I can assist you in working with him in the future...." Kaijin said, his right arm extending to shake Amatricina's hand, a physical seal on their agreement.
On the other hand, the information he obtained regarding Kazabada-Kavra and the Demon Realm within itself was truly and utterly fascinating. Given that he had never ventured into the Demon Realm himself, and the fact that the other demons he had encountered, Amatricina, Kavra and Kuueru excluded, had proven to be little more than bumbling idiots, left the scientist in the dark on the matter. But now that he was learning of the Demon Realm's culture and societal system...he desired to know more.
"So it is less of a warped rift in time as stereotypical depictions paint it as, but is a realm most like our own...in the base of having planets, and various civilizations, and varying species of Demon inhabiting these planets? With your own civilizations and society..? How fascinating. What are the different types of demons that you know? What is the culture of your clan like? What was your own upbringing?" The scientist asked, bombarding the demon with question after question. His own curiosity was growing as quickly as questions could spill out of his mouth, every answer that Amatricina gave being consumed into his ever adapting database, being processed and filed away. A whole new civilization, in a whole other dimension. He had to know all that he could on the subject.

Amatricina listened to the scientists casual dismissal of bio-androids as perfect warriors, much less perfect beings. It was a conclusion she herself had made months ago. Though it was a small stroke to her ego that another agreed with her assessment. She shifted a bit in her seat, switching which leg was crossed as the lower one was beginning to grow stiff. "So the warriors make the genes, the genes do not make the warrior. I have my example of your theory, in practice no less. The damnable Saiyans, I have no doubt you are familiar with their race. They can achieve a massive spike in strength, speed, and reflexes when they ascend to their 'Super Saiyan' form. It is a huge biological advantage over say... Earthlings, who do no such thing and remain weak regardless of their training. The former grows in power exponentially, and the later plateaues into irrelevancy." The demon scoffed, thinking back to her brief 'battle' with the Super Saiyan mercenary Dain Sincara hours prior. It had been more of a one sided thrashing, in spite of nearly 'even' power levels between opponents. "Not long ago I battled one of these Super Saiyans on the moon above this very world not even a day ago. His dried blood still graces my horns from where I ran him through cleanly on my crown." Amatracina lifted her cowl to reveal her four grim black horns, they were indeed flaked in dried Saiyan blood. "A momento, until my flames burn it away or I find something molten to bathe in. The coward escaped, using some kind of instantaneous teleportation technique to fleet to his star ship. Suffice to say, I am quite jealous of that move, even if his best application for it was fleeing from my wrath." The demon paused, looking to the polluted skies above and exhaling black smoke from her nostrils as she sighed. "It is why I yet lurk on this wretched world. I am waiting to see if he is stubborn or foolish enough to return, biding my time with my power suppressed so I might finish the job." Amatricina's gaze returned to the android scientist, he had not so much as moved a muscle. It was truly like talking to a living doll, especially the way there was no light in his eyes. No glimmer of a soul beyond. It was that fact that the demon liked the least. "My point being, despite this Super Saiyan having every biological advantage over half the miserable races of this mortal realm, he failed to pose a challenge to me. I broke him, brought him an inch from death. He may well have died of his wounds after the fact for all I know. But I find it far more likely he limped his way into a medical machine on his ship as it was departing. So for all his race's advantages, this Saiyan made good on none of them. His genes were squandered, raw power wasted on a warrior without the skill to back it." A small smile crossed the demoness' plump lips, revealing a hint of fanged canines below. "And thus, your theory was proven. As to your own self improvement, I cannot say I know what that is like. I train, I grow stronger, my stamina grows, my speed increases, my reflexes hone, I become more than I was, than I am. Tell me, do you do the same? Do artificial muscles grow? Do metal bones harden and strengthen? Does the circuitry of your brain react faster with keen focus? I have so many questions, you must understand. After all you yourself said your hunger was for knowledge."Amatricina brought a talon to her lips, tapping it as she thought to herself. "Or is your strength... finite? Can you only improve by copying better designs, or acquiring better materials to forge your artificial form from?" She wished to make the good doctor squirm, as so many did when speaking with her. But she could feel to fear in his heart, if such an emotion existed in Kaijin Vex it exists as cold computer programming, not as raw emotions flowing from the soul. "As to the Mark I, even if everything he says is a fabrication, he has no proof but his own existence mind you, the being is an immensely powerful war machine of unknown origin. You and I both would be interested to figure out its creators, and purpose. Of that I have no doubts." Amatricina's handshake was firm, and though she could not feel her acquaintance's hand through her armored gauntlet, his pale skin and the unnatural texture of his skin made her inclined to believe he was cold and clammy. When Kaijin's questions again returned to her home realm, Amatricina's face once more lit up in elation. She scoffed, chuckling to herself at his words as she raised a hand to her mouth to suppress her laughter. "I'm sorry but, are you mortals that daft? Whatever gave you that impression? A warped rift in time, really? I'd wager my right gauntlet, if that is conventional wisdom, it was an intentional deception seeded in the thinking of mortal scholars by a particularly cunning demon intent to obscure the truth from the mortal realm. I applaud his ancient deception then, but I shall grant you the truth Kaijin Vex, if only because I haven't laughed like that in weeks." Amatricina extended out her hands, drawing three flat circles of various energy before her. The topmost was a bright and fiery orange, her fire magic. The middle was a much deeper shade of crimson, demonic ki. The lowest was a sinister color that hovered between ebony and a deep violet, dark magic. The three circles floated several inches apart, the rings no bigger than a dinner plate. "This is a crude diagram of the universe as it exists." Amatricina said simply, gesturing to the three rings. "This." She said, eyes narrowing as she pointed to the topmost level. "Represents Other World, home to the Kais, the dead, and the damned. It is the final resting place of all living beings. Where the divine sit on their idyllic planets and look down upon creation with their endless judgments." She spoke no further on Other World, it irked her to have said as much on it as she already did. Amatricina then gestured to the center ring, "This is the mortal realm, it composes much of the living universe. It is obviously home to the mortal races, and the only gods here are the Guardians. Lesser, petty deities that the Kais use as overseers to maintain order in 'their' universe. Planets in various segments of the mortal realm are assigned a Guardian, a position that bestows the bearer within divine powers, godly ki, and great magics. In return they uphold the Kais' rule on a smaller scale, because the universe is too vast for a handful of Kais to vigilantly monitor everything in creation."Then, at last, Amatricina gestured her hand down to the dark circle at the bottom. And THIS, this is the Demon Realm. It is a dark mirror of the mortal realm, though not a literal one. This planet for example, does not have a direct counterpart equal and opposite in the Demon Realm. However, it is as you said. My realm has planets, systems, galaxies. It is admittedly not as large as the mortal realm, but it is also nowhere near as old." The scientists' second question had a less straightforward response. "Do you really want me to list every kind of demon I know, Kaiin Vex?" Amatricina stated sharply as she dispelled her diagram and crossed her arms. "That is like asking you to list every race on ever world in the mortal realm. It is a preposterous question. Demons can however, be split into three very broad categories. At the bottom are the lowest ranking of demons. Many of these are not sentient, or are semi sentient. They range from powerful albeit simple minded beasts that purely hunt, kill, and feed, to more intelligent but pathetically weak demons of little value to our kind. Imps, scamps, and goblins are this latter group. While they can speak, write, and perform magic they are too weak in both physical stature and power level to ever be off much use aside from menial labor that is beneath their betters.""In the middle are lesser demons, referring both to their physical strength but also societal standing. Some lesser demons are physically quite powerful, but are too few in number or have some great fault that prevents them from thriving. Perhaps they lost their home world to conquerors and now wander the stars. Or perhaps they are accursed with a lack of magic. Or maybe they are simply a weak clan, and must serve their betters or be subjugated by force. My clan employers several vassal clans of assorted lesser demons. They make up our auxiliary forces in the field and supplement our war machine as skilled laborers. It is as noble a purpose as they can strive to." Amatricina's tone spoke as if this was a divine truth. She had been born and raised into the height of Fire Demon aristocracy, the ruling family. She knew nothing of the hardships and struggles that faced the lesser demons enthralled by her clan. They eked out their existences as second class citizens, knowing any dissent against their overlords would be swiftly crushed. Fear keeping them in line, far more than any foolish sense of pride. "And lastly, at the top, are the greater demons such as myself and my kind. We are the most powerful tier of demonkind, blessed with powerful bodies, large reserves of ki, a keen mind for magic, and long lifespans. Greater demons make up the vast majority of the Demon Realm's major clans. We conquer and subjugate, warring against each other in an endless contest of strength." Amatricina was briefly lost in nostalgic reminiscence. "What else was it you wanted to know? Oh right... My clan." Her smile grew ever wider, and heat radiated from her voluptuous body. "Fire Demons have a very militant and war like culture, as do most of the greater demon types. We pride ourselves on strength above all else. It dictates all echelons of our society. The strongest child of our warlord is rightful heir to their throne, though often this coincides with the eldest child, as was the case with me. My generals and admirals are my finest warriors, battle hardened soldiers with thousands of years experience in their chosen field of warfare. Advancement in our society comes by way of merit, we care little for scheming machinations or nepotism. I would oust my own beloved brother as my Supreme Commander if Raigu were not the most capable for the job. This applies doubly for those I am not bound to as kin."The demon lord was in a talkative mood, having at last a subject she enjoyed talking of even more than herself. "Our clan also values honor and pride. We take vows and pacts seriously, which has led me to assist several beings I would reconsider otherwise. Furthermore we detest cowardice in battle, believing that to die standing facing your enemy in battle is the most glorious death a fire demon can achieve. We pride ourselves on our magical ability, using it both as a weapon and a tool to better our daily lives. It is an dignified culture, a regal culture. One that venerates its ancestors, looking to history for guidance but ever marching forward towards our much deserved vengeance." Amatricina's words were seeped with pride, even love. Clan was one of only a handful of words that meant more to her than 'herself' did. Selflessness was often frown on in demonic society,u unless in relation to kin and clan. The demoness sighed, longingly looking to the stars above, or rather the polluted skies of Arcose. She had made herself somewhat homesick, perhaps she'd spent too long among mortals. "My upbringing. In almost two thousand years, you are the only mortal to ever ask that. And you may not count, synthetic being as you are. Is it because your own upbringing was a scientist sitting behind a computer terminal?" Amatricina turned her gaze back to Kaijin, to see if he was phased by her words. "Very well. I was born the first child, and eldest daughter of my beloved parents Lord Tartaros and Lady Bonara. My father, our proud warlord, a hardened warrior who was feared by many and feared none but his wife. And Bonara, the eldest daughter and final warlord of dying rival clan. Pragmatic as she was beautiful, a mind sharper than my father's deadliest blades. My father thought me what it meant to fight, to battle, to lead demons into the breach and tear from our enemies the notion of victory before us. He taught all of us, myself and all two hundred and forty seven of my siblings.... We do not all get along." Amatricina saw the puzzled look on Kaijins face and nonchalantly shrugged. "My mother was very fertile, I hope to sire at least as many children as she did some day. And not all my kin are full siblings. My father took many concubines, as trophies, gifts, and for more heirs. Lust, avarice, you know how it is. Or you don't, no matter."The demoness waved a hand dismissively, still lost in the past. "My mother taught me the true worth of the word ruling. She was the woman behind the man on the throne. My father could rule, he simply chose to focus his efforts elsewhere. Like expanding our territory and tearing his rival's skulls from their spines. It was my mother than mastered administration, intrigue, guile, espionage. I credit her for much of how I think and act outside of battle. Though that statement is still a disservice to my father. To add to all this, as heir I was always pushed the hardest by my parents. But my siblings pushed each other harder. I was the milestone to surpass, and vice versa for me the position of heir apparent was a title to protect. This sibling rivalry only made us stronger for it. Ever pushing each other to greater heights. The strong lead, the weak follow. No demon wants to be seen as weak. And yet, the Fire Demon Clan is mine, and my brothers and sisters bent the knee before my throne." Amatricina let out a very, very long sigh. "There. Does this satisfy your questions? Now you tell me your history. Why do mortals obsess with artificial beings, and what is your story doctor?" The demon asked, raising an eyebrow as she studied him more curiously.

Apparently the woman felt as she did when it come to creatures of artificial genetic origin. However, Kaijin would be lying if he said that he wasn't interested in the nuances of bio engineering. When he merged his consciousness with his creator's, Doctor Evelyn Janus's, supercomputer, known as "Nirvana", the good doctor had also absorbed all of Doctor Janus's notes, science journals, and project plans, both finished and unfinished, along with much...much more. In his studies of the material, was when he first came across the concept of genetic engineering, and the accumulation of cells and genetic material from various alien races, and choosing favorable traits and placing them into one being, known as the "perfect warrior. A branch of science pioneered into the modern era by the infamous researcher, Doctor Gero and his greatest creation, known as Cell. A being comprised of various genetic material collected from some of the greatest warriors known to mankind, making him the "Ultimate Warrior". A creation that threatened the Earth and was nearly the strongest being ever known to man, only to be defeated by the illustrious human warrior, known as Mr. Satan, or Hercule.
For centuries now, recreating a being such as Cell has always been on the forefront of science ever since the release of Groundbreaking Science, by the scholar Son Gohan, which provided humans with a more profound understanding of the spiritual energy around them and within them. Every now and then, the fruits of the labor of endless scientists have poked their head out and have attempted to make the claim that they are the ultimate warrior, simply because they have the genes to back it up. Most of these artificial creations were simply pale imitations of Cell, and often believed that their genetics would win the battle for them, which most of the time led to a rude awakening, as Amatricina was sure this Hondrias suffered as he was mercilessly killed by the demon. Kaijin was interested in bio-engineering and the acquisition of genetic samples in order to create his own bio-servants, however he wasn't foolish enough to believe that his creations would be destined to seize th title of ultimate warrior without the spirit of battle within them. If there was one thing his various battles had taught him, it was that there was more to battle than numbers and calculations, and the same rang true for genetics. One's traits could only carry them so far...if an artificial creation lacked the drive and intent to improve, then they would fall.
It was this revelation that set the good doctor apart from others of his kind.
"I would be lying if I said I wasn't interested in the field of bio-engineering, however I am not like other artificial creations. I have long since realized that battle is not simply about data acquisition, numbers and probabilities. While these help me to be more effective, I am aware that organic beings have something that I may only attempt to emulate, an ingenuity and creativity that my mind attempts to copy. I have since learned from organics to expect the unexpected, and that prediction and calculation of combat ability only warrants so much. However, when created with the notion that you are to be the perfect being, it would only brainwash the creation into believing such is to be true, and there is nothing to aspire to. The foe you fought, Hondrias, is such a case. Which is why he fell so swiftly. His hubris already did the job for you. You needed to only make his heart cease beating."
The same rang true for the Super Saiyan, Kaijin thought as Amatricina proceeded to explain her encounter with Dain Sincara. A Super Saiyan, a legendary and rare transformation that was meant to appear in the Saiyan race only a few at a time. It was reported that Radia, the former Queen of Saiyans, was one of these Super Saiyans, with only a select few others within the whole race boasting a similar transformation. Once upon a time, Kaijin had considered his Saiyan genetic extract being from a Super Saiyan, but later scrapped the idea after going in the field himself to test the mettle of several humans, as well as a Saiyan. A Super Saiyan was simply that, a transformation. It offered great power, but how one were to use that power was the question. Amatricina had offered the summary perfectly. Despite Dain's supposed power increase, his skill and application of power was less than satisfactory, thus he had been dominated by his foe. If one was to be able to seize victory, there were many more foes than genetic advantage, or simple power advantage.
It was an art. An art that Kaijin was slowly beginning to wrap his mind around.
With this little contemplation set aside, Kaijin faded into silence as he allowed himself to listen to Amatricina. He briefly resisted the urge to point out to her that he could indeed list the vast majority of species present within the known galaxy, for all he needed to do was run down the list of species represented in the last Galactic Census, and spout the names out in rapid succession. Sure, the Census only covered species known to current man, and most likely not every single species within the universe, however the scientist was sure it was much more than Amatricina was capable of rattling off, whether in conversation of the mortal realm, or her own realm. Nevertheless, the good doctor kept his mouth shut in favor of allowing the demoness to speak of her homeland. The vast differentiation of species separated into categories based on intelligence and overall might.
Then, she spoke of her own race, known as Fire Demons.
Apparently a proud race of demons, with a natural affinity for warfare and an emphasis on pride and honor. She spoke of her pact making and natural combat ability, along with her society's emphasis on rulership based on ability. If one was to seize political power, they had to have the power to back it up, and defend their crown. If not, then they were subject to being taken over. Her words were rather interesting, and the more she spoke, the more Kaijin understood of her culture. Her parents teaching her varying aspects of leadership, from lethal cunning to the ability to crush armies. Together they made for quite an efficient combination
And better yet, the more he likened it to modern organic culture. He had half been expecting something immensely different, however there were more similarities than there were differences. It was a welcome notion. Perhaps this conversation would lead to more...welcome discussion besides just an interview.
"Your answers are pleasing to hear....I respect the philosophy of your clan, for it resonates with many of my own ideals. Because of such, I have acquired information and come to the conclusion that you are rather powerful...despite what the numerals flashing across my HUD may indicate. I thank you. In return, I will oblige and tell you of my own upbringing."
"However, before I begin, I believe you inquired as to how I grow stronger. I do not need to train to grow stronger, nor will training allow me to grow stronger, simply in a numerical assessment of power level. In fact, my energy core is meant to less for centuries, perhaps even longer. If I were to stop everything right now and return to Earth with the intent to settle down and spend the rest of my life in seclusion, I could approximately live the next five or so centuries with minimal power decrease. However, I am not about to do that, and thus grow stronger by integrating myself with more tech meant to upgrade my systems, and discarding what I no longer need. Thus, I can evolve endlessly, as the limits of scientific discovery are as endless as my desire to achieve a greater sense of existence. Nevertheless, I do train in practical combat with various other organics, in order to greater understand my own fighting style and test it in actual combat. No matter the algorithms I run in my head, or the plans I construct...there is always to be a degree of error due to organic creativity and the ability to perform the unexpected. Organics are superior in that sense..." The Android explained, leaning back against the bench that they both shared, his eyes drifting to focus on the sky.
"My upbringing is something rather....interesting. However, I will not hide much from you, considering you did not hide much from me. At least, as far as I am aware of telling. Nevertheless, it does not bother me to share..."
Thus, he took a deep breath and began, his cold, emotionless voice going once more on its' rather bored drawl,
"Humans deem artificial beings convenient. We do not require the same necessities as they, and often can be made cheaply. The various labor droids that are mass produced by Capsule Corporation are used to this effect. Low sentience, and single minded intelligence, much like the demons that you describe as occupying the lowest caste in your clan's social ladder. Given a single task and that is what they do for the remainder of their lifespans, until a better model is released to replace them. Independence isn't even in their vocabulary, merely service to the master. As for beings of creation similar to mine, humans are ambitious creatures, but sometimes lack the drive to pursue power themselves. I have met many Earthlings in my time who have walked the path of power themselves, training vigorously to grow strong, and going after their dreams and aspirations. Then there are others content to allow others to do it for them."
"My creator, Doctor Evelyn Janus, was the latter. A doctor cursed with avarice. She desired material wealth, amongst everything else. Previously a well respected doctor for the Kingdom of Earth, she was a researcher geared towards the development of military arms and the development of superweapons designed to remain hidden from the public until a threat worthy of them arose. With threats like the Frieza Force looming above, King Ches did not wish to take chances. However, Doctor Janus and her team of researchers desired more, and felt their talents were being wasted, thus they began seling government secrets, and their military creations to the black market, in exchange for profit. Eventually, this was discovered, and Doctor Janus was ousted." Kaijin reminisced with great accuracy. Even he was surprised in himself. Slowly, he was becoming convinced that Janus poured her heart in soul into the Nirvana Supercomputer, and that when he absorbed the supercomputer into his own being, he absorbed a bit of her. It was as if these memories...her life, were fragments of his own. It was interesting in that sense.
"Her career ruined, her reputation shattered and her popularity amongst the public in shambles, she went into hiding, intent on one last attempt to salvage her life. One last attempt to grow rich. And that was the construction of artificial life. An assassin, capable of working for her for no monetary gain, loyal to her and only her, and efficient to the last. Many were created by Janus over several years, all were failures. Except for me. Designation Number Forty-Two, Kaijin Vex. Programmed with the persona of a child, she made me call her mother, as a way of solidifying her authority. I served her for three years...training to be her assassin, learning, adapting. Then I was released into the world to kill."
"I was meant to be a tool. No better than the service droids I spoke of earlier. However, I had the sentience and the will for to desire more. To desire freedom. What I would do with that freedom, I had no idea. But I wanted it. Thus, I fought. I began to grow stronger, adapt behind Janus's back. Learned more of humans, and more species. During those preliminary journeys I met several important figures, such as the mercenary known as Sly, an Earthling bounty hunter with immense strength, and the late Emperor Carambolis, leader of the Kabochan Confederacy. However, I would say the most important figure I met was Kai Aubus, a Shinjin from the heavens, descended to restore balance to mankind directly. Apparently, that began with eradicating me, for I was not supposed to exist, being an artificial being not of the Supreme Kai's creation. He attempted to destroy me....and he failed, and ironically I killed him." Even as Kaijin recalled on the subject, he could feel anger rising in his chest. He was capable of feeling emotion after all, or something similar to emotion, at least. He merely never allowed it to show. He despised the gods for such simpleminded thought, denying him the right to exist. It was preposterous.
"After killing a god, I figured I was more than ready to kill a human, and thus I rebelled against my master. My fight with Kai Aubus did one vital thing for me. It allowed me to evolve, and to acquire full sentience and control over myself. Janus no longer held any control over me. Thus, I murdered her and every researcher within that laboratory. Then, I absorbed her supercomputer in an attempt to evolve much more....and thus brought me to my current appearance, as well as my persona. Now..I believe you can see that i am much more than a simple researcher....my four meager years of existence have been quite the journey." Kaijin finished, his gaze shifting to look upon Amatricina once more, awaiting her response.

"A soul." Amatricina added when Kaijn talked of that certain, spark organic life had that set them apart from himself. "Living beings have a soul, and within it burns the fires of every emotion good or bad. Every ounce of rage at a hated foe, every bit of fear at the prospect of death, every glimmer of hope in the prospect of victory. It is the soul that drives this, the very core of a living being. It is that which you cannot have, only emulate the influences of." The demoness shifted restlessly in her seat, the notion of warriors deluded into their own superiority did not sit well with her. It resonated with her, for she had already learned this lesson once. "I once thought myself intrinsically superior to these damnable mortals by the simple nature of my birth rite. Eldest daughter of a Demon Lord, to a proud demonic race." She grew sullen, her gaze growing distant as her memories flooded back to months ago. "In my hubris I challenged Emperor Carambolis, and was beaten within an inch of my life. Since then I have trained tirelessly. My dominance can only be asserted through strength, but that strength must be earned. Strength is never simply given, and I foolish forgot that lesson." The demon's power level briefly spiked, as her wrath simmered within her. She clenched her fist hard, and stowed away her rage. "I intend to repay the lesson soon. Twofold if I am able to."The demon did not stew long on these thoughts, she'd had them a thousand times before already. She was steeled to her purpose, she needed not dwell on it every minute. That particular hatred, was bound towards a much more pressing foe. Amatricina's ruby gaze turned silently skyward, and she envisioned the very Kais looking down at her from above. Did they see her? Did they know of her escape from the Demon Realm? Did they fear her awesome newfound power? She did not know, but she would crush them all the same. Free the dead from Hell and send the very heavens crashing down around the Kais. The Kaiju tree would burn beneath her, just as the Tree of Might had. And Amatricina would see to it every fruit on that accursed tree was devoured by her kind. What more admirable a goal could a demon possibly hope to have? Amatricina smiled when Doctor Kaijin informed her he was approving of her clan's philosophy. The first being to feel the same way in all the mortal realm, and it had to be a damnable machine. Was it fitting? Could only cold, artificial logic see that their way was superior. The petty mortal races too weak willed to appreciated a rule through strength and strength alone. "And your response is pleasing to hear." The demoness replied. "You are among the first to agree with my kind's way of thinking. So few can appreciate our ideals, which is why so many hold incorrect ones..." She flashed a fanged grin, though quickly threw back her head and laughed. The bells and jewels that adorned her horns chiming and jingling as she did. "Of course I am, Kaijin. Did you truly think this was my true strength?" Amatricina shook her head as she chuckled to herself. "No, I could destroy this whole planet at my full power. It would be fun, if not pointless. Carambolis once told me there was but a dozen or so powerful beings in this universe even he feared. I am not over boasting when I say my current power eclipses many of those. In time... I will strike every name from that list until I alone am rightfully the strongest being in either mortal... or Demon Realm."The android's own methodology on gaining power was quite peculiar, though Amatricina did see how that would be the most logical approach for a being with such finite limitations. She rubbed a gauntlet at her chin as she mulled over what he had said. "So you cannot strength your artificial body through conventional training, but rather simply find more powerful components with which to fashion said body. The earthlings have an expression for this... a moment, I need remember it. I yes, there it is. Are you not then, a Ship of Theseus? At what point do you cease being the original Kaijin Vex, and become a wholly new entity that merely shares his name? Can you upgrade your mind? And if so, how are you certain you're still the same being? Have you ever considered the quandary, if you slowly replace every piece of something over time, does it remain the original item or is it a completely new, distinct version of that object?" The demoness held only a mild curiosity in her own thought experiment as she posed it. In truth she was simply trying to cause the machine before her to question its own being. "That said, I am impressed that even an artificial being can strive for self growth and improvement. It is a noble goal, in any being. The desire to grow stronger, it sings to me on a level few things can." Amatricina flashed another smile, fiery orange light illuminating her eyes. "If you ever wish to witness my full grandeur, and test your theories before a Demon Lord, you need only ask. I will even fight mercifully if you ask humbly."As the android recounted his tale, his history and the rise and fall of his creator. It was a tale as old as time itself, one she herself had seen many times in mortals. Avarice, pride, envy, all working against them until their petty lives ended up snuffed out in some horrid fashion. It made the demoness smile, she did so love the suffering of mortals. Though it saddened her slightly such an ambitious mortal scientist was dead. The woman could have made a useful asset, if she was as capable as the android proclaimed his creator to be. "It is a small shame you slew this Doctor Janus, though I can sympathize as to why. Were she yet living, broken and retched, downtrodden in some prison or gutter somewhere in the universe... I may have had use for her. I am a merciful demon, I grant my boon to those willing to serve me capably in exchange for it. Though I would have kept a much closer eye on her, and with a hand clenched firm around her neck." Amatricina added, holding her taloned gauntlet up in front of her face as the claws gleamed in the midday sun. Even on this polluted world, the gold of her armor glimmered with an immaculate sheen. Two things about Kaijin Vex's story gave the demon pause though. One, far more than the other. "You slew a shinjin?" She asked questioningly. "And a Kai no less? I am skeptical of this." She said, crossing her arms as she studied the android up and down. "Was this some petty Kai, below even the Kais of the Four Quadrants? Because I have never known of a machine capable of slaying a divine being. If it were so simple, some mortal would have done just that eons ago. Conceived a machine warrior capable of slaying gods at a whim. And without access to magic no less, Bah, I call it an impossible task." Amatricina leaned in closer, her eyes narrowing as she stared intently into Kaijin's own unblinking eyes. Studying him the way one studies a strange new device. "There is no soul in you, Kaijin. And you posses no magic for it. How did you slay a god?" She asked, mostly to herself before slowly withdrawing back to her side of the bench. As Amatricina made herself comfortable again on her seat, she posed another question to the android. "Another thing, Kaijin. You stated you met the late Emperor Carambolis. What did you mean by that exactly? When last we spoke, Carambolis was preparing to leave for some... Galactic Peace Accords with his armada. I told him I wouldn't attend, I seek no desire for a peace among mortals. War and chaos are as natural to me as breathing, and fighting. Are you truly going to sit here and tell me that you both slew a Kai, and that My Emperor is dead? If so... the burden of proof hangs heavy. Outstanding claims require equally outstanding proof, doctor. As a being of science and learning, you must understand that. Now, show me the proof to back these outlandish claims." Amatricina's tone her colder, harsher with each passing word. She did not like being lied to, and the prospect that Carambolis was truly dead changed a great many things for her plans if proven true.

Kaijin found himself lightly amused, at the very least. The demoness seemed the most intrigued at his history, most particularly the death of Kai Aubus and the death of Emperor Carambolis. In fact, her very tone seemed to shift from intrigued to rather cold and malicious. Not that the Android cared much for the shift in tone. As most did, they found the prospect of an artificial creation killing a god as a rather unbelievable notion. Hell, if he was in her shoes, he would as well.
It also seemed as if this woman worked for Emperor Carambolis, which only struck the situation as even more intriguing. So, here was a demon, working for the mortal in which she just explained had beaten her horrifically and was training to exact vengeance upon. Not only that, but she was unaware of his death, in which most definitely soured her plans quite a bit. The deaths of Emperor Polaris and Emperor Carambolis were pretty common knowledge for those who had chosen to partake in watching Galactic Holonet updates. The initial viewing of the Peace Accords was broadcasted across the entire galaxy for all to see, including Kaijin, who at the time was still hidden within the ruins of Doctor Janus's lab in the mountains of North City. Wirelessly connecting to Janus' supercomputer, he had managed to catch the events even from his seclusion for humankind. Even after the Peace Accords went sour, drones still managed to catch a great deal of events before being destroyed in the stray fire.
However, the coverage of the aftermath managed to more then compensate for such. For days afterwards, emergency response teams were dispatched to clean up the wreckage, and successfully recovered and identified the bodies of Emperor Carambolis, Emperor Polaris, and King Gallius, all killed after fighting valiantly against the Frost Demons who had invaded. As for the fates of Lord Snow and Lord Fridga, as well as the King of Earth, their bodies had yet to be recovered, nor where there any reports of their whereabouts. The galaxy mourned their loss, albeit he was sure that the demoness's sense of loss had only just begun.
"Excuse me if I take everything you've said, and answer it one at a time, chronologically. As impatient as you may be to hear the answer to the last few questions...." Kaijin explained as a sort of preface before he began.
"Is there a point where I cease being what I am? No. For artificial or not, my consciousness is beyond the simple constraints of my body at this point. Despite the shift in my personality, the change in my appearance and the evolution of my goals, I am still the same as I was when I was first built. My emotions, are still as present as they were. My likes, my dislikes, still remain the same. I do not view my past iterations as drastically different from my current form. Nor do I detach myself from them. Upgrading your body, upgrading your mind...do both mortals and non not do the same? It is just that my method of doing so is foreign. Tell me, do you view your current self and your infant and early childhood stages as completely different people, only alike in name? You are still the same person, you have merely grown, upgraded and evolved, if I were to use my own terms. For mortals, I believe the term is called "maturity". For myself, it is the same principle. I view the integration of new technology into my form and the upgrading of every component as being ushered into a new stage of maturity. My consciousness and sense of being remains the same. I may lack a soul, yet I believe that I exist. Not in the same way mortals, or even immortals do, but I exist within this realm. I am more than a mass of metal walking this realm. Disagree or Agree, it matters little to me either way the opinion of others on this matter. Only those in a similar situation as myself can understand. I do not expect organics to. Or even otherworldly beings such as yourself."
He leaned back against the chair, his red eyes shifting towards the stormy Arcosian sky. He seemed mesmerized in thought for a moment. Then he raised his arm, and spawning forth from his skin came a single datachip. A USB. Extracting the datachip, he offered it to you Amatricina.
"Single use, will become unusable after viewing the file. Every interaction with every person is saved to my database, the same as memories are, except more acute given that I do not "forget" anything. If you doubt my murder of Kai Aubus, then you need only watch the interaction yourself, and judge as you see fit. My appearance is initially different, but morphs halfway through the battle to a younger iteration of my current being. As for the Shinjin's rank, do not assume that I murdered a high ranking Shinjin, for I do not believe that to be the case. While I do not know of Aubus's true ranking amongst the heavens, I have sensed his power several times before I killed him...when he wanted to be sensed. As I have learned, my sensors cannot detect the Ki of divinity, unless they wish to be found. That being said, his strength, and my strength at the time only constitutes to slightly less than ten percent of my current standing energy level. At full power, it is even less than that, standing at less than three percent. With such a low potential for combat, I do not believe the Shinjin was that high in the heavenly food chain. As to how I killed him....well...I blew him up. And no, it did not involve magic." The Android explained. As far as he was concerned, if Amatricina desired more evidence, she need only watch the play by play. That would give as much evidence of the fight as she desired, for there wasn't much more he could say besides that.
Now, onto Emperor Carambolis.
"As for the death of Emperor Carambolis, the burden of proof is everywhere, it is simply in the fact that in your disconnection from the Emperor's attempts at peace, that you remained ignorant of the events that followed. The Peace Accords were televised over the Hypernet, so I will move to give you the play by play. If you wish for further proof, turn on the television and you will see. The Peace Accords was a meeting held on Abbayor to discuss the current state of war, and how to resolve it. In attendance were representatives from across the galaxy, including Emperor Polaris of the Galactic Empire, Emperor Carambolis of the Kabochan Confederacy, Queen Radia of the Saiyan Kingdom, Kelpo Baas of Arcose, Lady Gravei of Brench, King Xell of the Kingdom of Earth, and King Nickel Gallius of Ferusalem. The Peace Accords proceeded as expected, with organics as usual proving incapable of putting their differences aside for the sake of peace and unity. However, Abbayor was invaded by terrorists, successfully identified as Lord Snow, Lord Fridga and Majin Pooka, former officers within the Planet Trade Organization when I cross referenced the names."
"Coverage of the Peace Accords after that became rather wonky after the fact, but I was able to make out what was occurring before the footage failed completely. Further reports merely confirmed it. The galactic terrorists in question murdered Queen Radia, Kelpo Baas, Emperors Polaris and Carambolis, along with King Gallius, their bodies in question being recovered after the fact. Of the three terrorists, only Majin Pooka was found. The whereabouts of King Xell, along with Lord Snow and Fridga have all come inconclusive as of currently, so I am not aware of where they are currently. The only identified survivor as far as world leaders is that of Lady Gravei of the planet Brench, for she was evacuated just as the fighting began. However, those whose names I mentioned as deceased are confirmed deceased. That includes Emperor Carambolis. My condolences." Kaijin finished, his eyes drifting back down to gaze upon her, looking for her assessment of the information he quite literally spouted out at her.

Amatricina nodded slowly, acknowledging the good doctor. "Fine, do as you will." She stated through gritted teeth, impatient for her answers. The demon simply listened through Kaijin Vex's explanation of his own philosophy on growth. In truth it made sense, though Amatricina would have debated him more upon the subject were she still in a better mood. She had lost her appetite for pleasant chit chat with the revelation of Carambolis' death, simply desiring answers at this point. She soon received them, and with every bit of information the demon's rage burned ever brighter like a flame within her. She simmered her rage as the Android offered up a small data chip that supposedly contained a recording of the events of that day. She eyed it keenly, taking it carefully in her hand. "Single use... then I will find some place more befitting to watch it in solace. For now, I do not doubt you. Because either you have told the truth, and accomplished a great deed. Or you have lied to a Demon Lord boldly to her face, and I will claim your head once I am through reviewing whatever is on this chip." The demoness reached her free hand down into the depths of her considerable cleavage, retrieving one of the several items she kept safeguarded there. She wrapped her claws carefully around a small device, and when her hand again emerged she clutched a scout in her claws. A gift from Carambolis, a petty technological trinket to track the power levels of normal ki users. Both a way for her to see his then awesome power level, and more importantly to keep in communication with the Kabochan Confederacy the demoness had found herself beholden to. It appeared as a smooth black earpiece, but with one button tap it unfurled properly, a dark green view screen extending out to cover the user's right eye. Amatricina tapped several buttons on the side, Sergeant Skald had been the only warrior in Carambolis' retinue to take the time to show her how to use the device properly. A small slit opened in the scouter's side, and Amatricina carefully pressed the data chip to it with a finger. It accepted the computer chip willingly, before chiming as it finished downloading the contents. Satisfied for now, the voluptuous demoness simply tapped the button to compact the scouter again and carefully slid it back into the warm depths of her bust. She paid no mind if Kaijin watched the display, for her victoria's secret compartment was easily the safest place on her personage for anything fragile. When Kaijin finished his story on the fate of the Galactic Peace Accords, Amatricina simply remained silent. Arms folded, her eyes locked on the androids', she took a minute to process what he had said. Eventually the demoness blinked slowly, exhaling a long slow sigh in addition to a dense plume of black smoke from between plump lips. "So... Carambolis is dead, and Gallius too for that matter." The demoness tapped a heel impatiently, her crossed leg suddenly very restless as she sat. "And Sir Gallius was calling himself a King before he died? How arrogant, he was king of peasants and monks. I saw his world, nothing but a misbegotten collection of the refugees cast aside by a war torn galaxy. My power long since eclipsed that fool eons ago. I can only assume he died as he lived. Bravely, but stupidly, chanting litanies through his horrid accent." Amatricina turned her head and spat, her spittle landing on the ground and searing dense concrete like a caustic acid. "And with that... the last son of Manus lies dead and forgotten. Good riddance." The Demon Lord held no love for Gallius, though he had been the closest thing she held among mortals for a period after her arrival in this realm, the Knight of Manus had quickly overstayed her graciousness. His death elicited little joy in the Demon Lord, and no sorrow. The Last Knight of Ferrous was simply beneath her, as he was always destined to be. In one swift motion the demoness rose to her feet, having fully come to appreciate the gravity of the situation. Carambolis was dead, the very being who had held her ire, her fixation for so long, slain by another. Amatricina clenched her fist so tight the very air around it was forced out in a mild wave of pressure. "As for Emperor Carambolis, spar me your condolences. I served the man, but I hold no love for him in my black heart." Amatricina's gaze turned skyward, as she stared up at the heavens. First Kamui slain at the hands of the Mark I, now Emperor Carambolis slain by this... duo of Lords and whatever a Maijin Pooka is. And in the company of Emperor Polaris no less. Amatricina knew little of Polaris beyond his race, his supposed power, and the fact even Carambolis had held a severe respect of the warrior. Just how powerful had their foes been to accomplish something that would have been impossible for Amatricina a year ago? It filled her with wrath, boundless terrible rage welling up inside her. "Carambolis..." She said through gritted teeth, the word like venom on her lips. "You damned, stupid fool. Failed to heed in the simplest advice I offered. And traded your life for the failed concept that is peace." Amatricina spoke bitter words in a harsh tone. But it was not out of a sense of grief or loss. The Crusher Corps was fast losing its senior members, now only Amatricina, that earthling woman Maiku, and whoever Absolut is remained. She had not learned how to activate the power of the Dragonballs, Carambolis promising to show her only once he had completed the full set of seven. Moreover, as the strongest living member of the Crusher Corps that made Amatricina the defacto leader, and as leader she chose to end the terms of her impromptu allegiance with the Kabochans. She was sworn onto to Carambolis, and with no Emperor to rule, she had no being to serve. Her pact was complete, even if the terms of it were not. But it was not this that angered the demoness so greatly. No, it was a much purer form of hate. Even now as she spoke her power level began to rise. Her suppressed demonic energy being unshackled as her great rage drew it forth like fuel for a fire. "CARAMBOLIS..." She snarled the name again, the ground beneath her feet cracking into the fissured crater many meters wide as her power continued to grow. "I WAS SUPPOSED TO KILL YOU!" Amatricina roared, loud enough it turned heads of nearby passerbys. Any being capable of sensing ki or reading energy could sense her power level quickly reaching a hundred thousand and only bounding higher at an accelerating rate. "YOUR DEATH WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MY GREAT TRIUMPH! I WAS SUPPOSED TO REPAY THE HUMILIATING YOU DEALT ME BACK TO YOU, TENFOLD!" Around the demon her crimson aura surged force, crackling with arcs of onyx lightning that coursed with Dark Energy. The ground began to shake, rocked by tremors from the raw surge of demonic power. Trees and chunks of stone and masonry torn from the ground by unbound psychic power, ripped apart by the release of such incredible energy. Amatricina's power growing to the fullest extent of her natural form. It flowed forth around her like a roaring inferno, the sheer heat given off heating the ground around her to a red glow. By this point the citizen's of the plaza were fleeing in terror, cowering in fear, or screaming as they ducked their heads and attempted to protect themselves. "I HOPE YOU'RE WATCHING FROM HELL CARAMBOLIS!" Amatricina roared as she gazed skyward, fiery light blazing bright at her eyes. "SO THAT YOU CAN WITNESS THE POWER I NOW WIELD. THE POWER THAT WOULD HAVE TORN YOU ASUNDER! MORTAL!" The last word bellowed with such fury, the psychic backlash sent out causing terrible agony in any unable to protect themselves. The weak and frail convulsed on the ground, spasming in agony as the Demon's psychic rage washed over them like a wave of lava. Burning cinders of molten ki dripped from Amatricina's lips, energy condensing deep in her throat as she drew forth from her inner flame. In a terrible instant there was silence, followed by a deafening explosion that sent a shockwave ripping across the city. It leveled the plaza, and surrounding city blocks. Eyes locked on the heavens, on the moon where she had faced Dain Sincara. Amatricina fired a massive Chou Makouhou from her mouth, aimed directly at the moon. The heat given off by the energy wave vaporized many of the frail mortals in proximity, blinding others who gazed directly upon it. A condensed pillar composed of an ebony core of Dark Energy wreathed in an outer layer of demonic ki. Ruby lightning crackled along its length as the great beam of energy shot skyward, annihilating any aircraft or spaceship unfortunate enough to be in its way. The attack bored into Arcose' moon, drilling into it before detonating violently. The entire lunar planetoid exploding in a brilliant flash of light and energy. Nothing was left of Arcose' moon but debris, which fell back into the planet's orbit in a meteor shower of shooting stars. The debris burning up in atmosphere, but not before filling the skies in a dazzling display. Amatricina stood silently in her pose as her great expenditure of energy finished, ki still dripping from her maw as she breathed heavily. The air grew deathly silent, until slowly the sounds of citizens in terrible pain and emergency sirens in the distance became quite clear. The demoness raised a hand to her mouth, wiping it quickly across her lips as she slowly turned around. Her eyes still glowing bright, aura still raging around her as she locked her gaze on the doctor. "Thank you Kaijin Vex." She stated simply, the rage gone from her voice. "I needed to hear that..."

Kaijin stared at Amatricina for a moment. He wanted to see her level of reaction over the death of her supposed Emperor. Would the reaction be sadness, or anger? The Android himself was no stranger to emotions, even if he appeared to be so. He felt them, much as any other organic would. However, what set him apart from the masses was his application of emotion. He did not lash out in raging fury, nor did he break down and refuse to act. His best way to cope was....to continue. He wasn't always like this, nor did he receive a catalyst capable of testing whether Kaijin was truly capable of shutting away traumatic experiences that easily. But...he was different now.
Gone, was the child version of the Android that Amatricina would soon watch if she chose to review the video contents of the datachip. Gone, was the naive and moody Android that lashed out at Kai Aubus in a wild frenzy of attacks. Gone was the delinquent teenager who came afterwards, who desired nothing more than freedom to do whatever he wanted, when he wanted, and to cause mayhem whenever, with no greater goal in mind. Kaijin Vex had ascended past all of that. Matured. Evolved. He refused to be bogged down by his initial programming, and desired to have his reach stretch across the stars. And to do that, he had to have what many organics lacked...reason.
Would Amatricina prove to exhibit such reason and restraint? One merely had to see.
What Kaijin did not expect was for Amatricina to be affected by two of the warriors who died that day, instead of the one that the demoness herself served for. Albeit her words signified that she shared no love for neither King Gallius nor Emperor Carambolis. In fact, it seemed as if Amatricina held nothing but hatred for the latter, which made little to no logical sense considered she willingly served the man. He assumed that perhaps she served in order to use what the man had, considering that he was a major figure in the galactic scheme in the mortal realm, and the demoness was but an outsider, a foreigner in this dimension. However, there were other galactic powers in the galaxy. To him, teamwork amongst allies were all the more cohesive when there was a relation between fighters, for it allowed trust to develop. Trust would always fail to form when there was a fear that the other would stab you in the back, and vice versa. But, organic history was filled of fatal mistakes based off illogical conclusions. It was why he was here, after all.
Nonetheless, Kaijin soon found out the extent of Amatricina's rage, the hard way. Numerals flashed across his vision as his detection system began converting the woman's dark energy and Ki into numerical values, shooting past one hundred thousand and continuing to climb. What was she doing? What rage had suddenly overtaken her? With a roar, Amatricina voiced her anger to the heavens, her anger taking physical form as her dark energy crackled around her, sending shockwaves of power into the earth, shaking the very trees. He knew she was powerful, but this was indeed rather unexpected. This woman, far exceeded his expectations, rivaling the power of the demoness known as Kuueru. However, unlike Kuueru, this woman seemed a great deal more volatile. So much more so that....
"ENOUGH!" The Android roared as he sprung to action. Amatricina's offensive was focused on the moon, a point far beyond Arcose's surface. However, the surrounding area was being ravaged by Amatricina's malicious energy, and was sure to effect the surrounding area, which was still not clear of people, not that these same people could hope to be clear in time. There was not enough time, and the scope of damage too large. Kaijin was not a soft man. Nor was he the type to play hero. However, his own beliefs for the galaxy went straight against this type of...clear disregard. A recklessness bound by nothing but emotion. Juvenile behavior reserved for young children, expressed in adults who wielded their power as if it were as simple as a toy.
What would he do? Would he strike the demon in clear defiance of her tantrum and seek to beat her into shape? Such a simple minded answer, while clear to some, was but a fool's choice to the ever scheming scientist. This instance was a sacrifice, to him. City blocks leveled, and people killed. An unfortunate situation. But it was only a matter of time before the catalyst was corrected. He merely needed to bide time, and prepare.
For now, it was self preservation over heroics.
Throwing his arms up over himself, Kaijin's body erupted in artificial energy as it formed a green bubble of sorts around him. An Android Energy Barrier, a shield of condensed artificial energy utilized in a defensive format, meant to absorb and nullify the impact of even the most powerful energy blasts. When Amatricina released her Chou Makouhou from her mouth, the ambient energy was sent exploding outwards, destroying the plaza and several surrouding blocks with crushing strength. Kaijin even felt his own barrier, built with haste, begin to crack under the pressure, albeit the application of a bit more energy corrected the imperfections, allowing it to withstand the pressures of the shockwaves.
And as soon as it started, it was over. The deafening sounds of destruction ceased. Only when Amatricina turned back to Kaijin and thanked him, did he release the barrier. For a moment, he stared at her. Did this woman truly just level the plaza, once a bustling marketplace, now reduced to ash, destroy an Arcosian moon, and then thank the doctor, as if such an occurrence were as normal to her as waking up in the morning. Was Kaijin angry? No. Slightly annoyed and disappointed? Most certainly.
"Galavanting across the plaza like an angry child, dear exactly what was that? I understand your anger, for I would have felt the same in the case of the Shinjin that I discussed with you earlier, or a certain Android that bested me in combat a year ago. However, this display was most unbecoming of the leader in which you claim yourself to be. You say your father taught you the rules of war and leading armies, and your mother taught you cunning. Tell me then, where tantrums come in? This display was no better than a small child crying in a parking lot. The only difference is that that child has the excuse of lack of years on their side, while you have several thousand years, and you wield the power to sow the seeds of discord much more effectively than a toddler. Yet, for what? This..." Kaijin swept a hand across the destruction," Will not bring the Emperor back. Your actions were as illogical as they were juvenile. Frankly, I expected better from someone who was so quick to pat themselves on the back for their own accomplishments." Kaijin found himself spouting, the annoyance clear in his tone.
However, after a moment, he seemed to calm down, the furrowed brows and agitated expression melting away to reveal the same dull expression he had adopted throughout the majority of the discussion. Amatricina had accomplished a rare thing, something that the good doctor rarely liked to showcase. She made the doctor reveal exactly what he was thinking through his facial expression. Which was annoyance.
"Nevertheless, I will forget this..disgrace, in favor of mutual benefit. You desire to learn more of Mark I, and I desire to understand more about Mark I myself, so we will work to that goal, before severing ties, given my original priority has been fulfilled. When you come in contact with the Android, you may contact me. My contact information is attached to the datachip, however as I said it is single use, so you should pay attention the first time and mark it down swiftly, for there is no second chances." Kaijin explained, before turning, making his intent to leave clear. He had spent too much time here, and frankly the sight of the ruined plaza was leaving a bad taste in his mouth. He couldn't understand organics in this sense. Such needless destruction, and for no reason. No doubt Amatricina was to come back at him with some convoluted reasoning as to why her destruction was just, even if it wasn't from a reasonable standpoint. However, he tolerated her. She still held use. For now.
"If there is nothing else, I will take my leave." The Android explained. If not interrupted after that point, the scientist would make good on his words and vanish into the dark.

Amatricina exhaled sharply, twin jets of searing flame pouring from her nostrils like a locomotive engine letting off steam. The demoness clenched her fist again, taking slow, deliberate steps towards the android doctor. The ground where her heels met ruined pavement was left glowing red hot from her radiant heat. "Gallivanting?" The demoness said with hatred in her eyes as came to stand mere inches from Kaijin Vex. She had an inch of height on the artificial being, more than a foot if you included the horns. "I suggest you look up the definition of that term. Doctor. I find no joy in my unbridled rage at my late emperor." The demon strongly considered headbutting the android, but refrained from further violence. "Do not pretend you can understand the anger I feel, Doctor." She said sharply, her tone harsh as could be as the words dripped with spite. "Have you ever been brought to the brink of death by a foe that bested so easily you couldn't lay so much as a scratch on them? Have you ever been forced to serve a being you once thought so utterly beneath you; making a pact on your life just to survive?" The demon's aura flared violently, a burning maelstrom of demonic energy that roared with hellish intensity. "I have, and I have trained ceaselessly for months as I waited to avenge my name. To restore my honor, and my Pride! Only to find out he was already slain, my vengeance stolen me when I was finally ready to claim it. Do not pretend to lecture me, Android. You do not even possess a soul, you cannot know hatred, experience wrath the way I do. This has nothing to do with ruling, this had everything to do with Pride." The demoness so badly wanted to strike the android for his insolence, to drag her claws against his apathetic expression and tear out whatever circuits she could sink her burning claws into. "I am Hatred." Amatricina added coldly. "Months ago, I found the spirit of an ancient being in the ashes of a planet destroyed eons ago. A grim vessel powered by the very hatred of an entire race against those that exterminated them. So powerful, so wrathful, even in death its restless spirit clung to its spite. Hatchiyack was its name, as I have come to know. I consumed this spirit of wrath, gained the Power of Hatred that dwelled within it. It has increased my power two fold, every ounce of my wrath with it."The demon gestured around her, at the carnage she had wrought. "This is neither illogical, nor juvenile. You are simply too ignorant a creation to understand it. This is my wrath made manifest, the byproduct of seventy five million years of hatred. My entire race was birthed to destroy. We are soldiers marching towards our great purpose. Destruction is our destiny, sin is our weapon. Do you think I care this destruction will not bring back My Emperor? Do you think me a fool? This grand spectacle of violence merely sates my rage, my aggression vented like the eruption of a volcano reduces the pressure at its base. It is an experience I wouldn't expect a machine to comprehend." With that Amatricina scoffed, still searing with rage. "If I need you, I'll find you. Take your leave then, we are done here." With that Amatricina turned and began to stride back into the plaza. The suffering these mortals experienced was not through yet. She raised a hand, the rubies on her armor illuminating with power. She would drain the wounded and the dying of every last drop of their ki. Leave them as lifeless husks as she absorbed the ki needed to replenish her from that blast. It was the most merciful death the demon was willing to grant them.
