So he could withstand his trick, that was irritating. It was a good try and maybe he should do it again, but first he needed to wear him out more, so he couldn’t just use his ki, to shrug his attacks off again. Thundos would like to use his Flashing Bolt again, but it would wear him down and that wasn’t the plan here. Fortunately, his teacher wasn’t able to hit him since that one stroke again, so Thundos didn’t fear his attacks. Still it was an interesting thing to learn, that one could do that again. But it was astonishing how much control Will had over his ki created being. He felt, how the energy floated into Dragon Soul again. So he would use this again, Thundos knew what was coming at him, he was prepared. At least that was what he thought, but this time the barrage of fists seemed to be faster and more precise, still he managed to evade them yet again, though it was pretty hard. After he managed to escape that attack once again, Thundos was again after closing the gap to his sensei, so he could try another round of melee attacks. Against all the odds, he still managed to smile. It may was weird and a bit nerf wrecking that all his attacks were for none, but it still was kind of fun. First he tried it with a rising kick and would follow it with a straight stomp kick with the other leg, twisting his body around, so he would be standing on his feet again after that. Again Dragon Soul's attacks didn't land, but the spirit guardian seems to be actually enjoying himself. He hasn't had to fight this hard before especially after he has grown a lot himself. And it's not like it's the usual opponent Will fights against that manages to kick both of their asses. After all Dragon Soul can feel Will's pain and vice versa. He is also surprised that the boy didn't try to hurt Dragon Soul and focused on fighting Will thinking it would break Will's concentration or something and desummon him. Unfortunately for Thundos Will still has more then enough energy to be able to keep him summoned. Will managed to dodge the rising kick, but he was not quick enough to dodge the stomp kick which hit him clean in the stomach. Although it didn't manage to hurt him it did bruise a bit and it doesn't help that he ate quite recently. After not throwing up he managed to compose himself and look at Thundos. And he begin to clap, not a sarcastic slow clap, but a genuine clapping of respect. Will's energy also seemed to increase slightly as if that hit Thundos did unlocked some extra Ki he had locked up. "You always find some way to impress me. But it's not just speed, power, or strategy that makes a great fighter. It's determination. The determination that strives people to improve themselves in multiple ways and not stopping even if they seemed to have reach their limits. Now show me your determination, show me how much you want to start your Dojo! Show me a warrior's resolve!" Will said. Dragon Soul then unleashed another barrage of punches at Thundos, he believes he managed to get used to Thundos movements to be able to know where he would be dodging. Thundos did managed to hit again, though it really seemed like it did no real harm to his teacher. Seemed like he had to try harder then. But what Thundos also recognized, was that Will seemed to regenerate his ki. It was right when his attack had hit. Was his teacher able to convert the energy? That was an interesting theorie, maybe it was possible to do so. Though he needed to confirm that, for that Thundos wanted to keep attacking Will, not Dragon Soul, were he wasn’t sure, that this creature was attackable. First of all, he needed to evade yet another attack of Dragon Soul. This time Thundos escaped into the air, being above gave him a better view on the overall. His teacher wanted to see his determination. How should he show that? Exactly, by beating him. For that he needed a plan, but first he wanted to prove his theory. “Don’t worry, I have plenty of that”, Thundos said. “It is one of my important goals after all.”
Thundos was shooting down at first, seemingly trying to frontal attack Will, but instead he stopped, while shooting a ball of ki at his teacher, hoping to land another hit. Now flying to the right he prepared another ki bolt and fired it at Will. Hopefully he could hit with one of those and examine what will happen. Words: 230 1d100+25·1d10·1d100+25·1d10

Will was certainly proud of how long Thundos has been managing to dodge Dragon Soul's onslaught and stay fighting. Will is tempted to unleash his full power and go at Thundos with everything he as. But that would be overdoing it. In the meantime he wants to see more of what he can do. See what else that Thundos has at his disposal that could be able to surprise Will. A glimpse of what Thundos would become if he gets stronger and trained as hard as Will did to get to the level he is at currently. The first Ki bolt actually managed to hit Will that time. Again though he increased his body density to reduce the impact of the attack, of course it still stung a little, but it managed to reduce any damage. Although Will's muscles are at their limit. At this point he would be barely able to defend himself to the next attack that hit in this manner. But yet he is still going and something is burning inside him. That is urging him to bring out all that Thundos can give. This is the most excited he was in a battle in a while. The only thing Will had to say to Thundos was. "I see your aim is improving." This time Dragon Soul began charging energy into one fist to start out with one powerful punch before going for a barrage of attacks. A massive orb of Ki surrounds his right hand. It swells to the size of a watermelon, and then he winds up his arm and swings it towards Thundos face. BATTLE TRACKERSUMMARY Thundos Attack #1: Ki Bolt - 99 Acc vs 85 Def - hit. Thundos was happy, that his attacks actually hit now, even if they didn’t do any real damage for now. This way he was finally be able to do something in the offensive category. Thundos felt like he was finally achieving something in this spar. He had high hope now, even when his theory was correct it seemed. His teacher was able to regenerate his ki, by absorbing the energy behind an attack in some way. That really was a neat trick, still he needed to see the extent of how long Will could do that. Through the whole fight, or was there a limit to that. The young martial artists tried to come up with an idea, how he could find that out. Unfortunately that dragon man was charging at him again. Unfortunately Thundos was noticing him a bit too late, still he managed to evade the first strike while somehow managing to weave his body out of the way. He tried to move on this way, evading all strikes, but couldn’t do that. Two powerful attacks hit him in this barrage of fists, they also hitted him in the stomach, pressing all air out of him. Thundos was sent flying away and crushing him into a tree felling it. It hurt, like he was actually hit with a building or something. The young man was barely able to keep his conscious. Probably some ribs broke, maybe some other bones too. Still he didn’t want to let it end here, so Thundos was staying up, collection all his will. He felt that at this point, he couldn’t use his speed, so he had to channel his energy into a final attack. He was preparing all energy he could muster, charging way more into his trademark attack, as he usual did, condensing the energy he hold between his hand. This way he should make some impact, if he even did hit with this, well seeing how it was now, he couldn’t go any further, so he could also throw in all he could. Finishing his attack he was throwing it at Will, his new teacher. “I give you all i can! After Thundos dodges most of his punches, Dragon Soul managed to connect with a hit. Although he was also surprised by how much damage he did with those two hits. Even Will is shocked as he looks at the crater where Dragon Soul was standing in, and the broken tree that Thundos got slammed into. He then looks around and sees the damage they have been doing to this beautiful landscape. Trees with holes in them or blown apart from the Ki bolts Thundos threw that Will dodged, the trees Dragon Soul punched, and of course the holes in the ground from the geysers made earlier. Will felt really guilty after seeing the damage done to this land, but also feels both pain and pride in seeing Thundos heavily damaged. Dragon Soul also could feel what Will was feeling through their connection. "Dragon Soul, you can go now." he said. Without a word he nods and gives Thundos a thumbs up. "I was so busy caught up in teaching you and testing you that I went too hard on you, and this beautiful land was hurt in the process. I would be switching from melee combat from now on. Also, I will be giving you this." Will said. He then tossed a small green bean to Thundos. "That's a Senzu Bean, it truly is a magical fruit. It can help heal you and restore some of the energy you, and also can fill you up for 10 days. So it's not really wise to eat more then one, trust me I made that mistake too." Will said. Will then got into the fighting stance of the Turtle School, and rushed forward to give Thundos a slap from a tail and continues with a roundhouse kick. He figured that his attack would have missed, as he was too weak now, to actual try aiming it any further. It would take a while until he would have healed up, so their training session had to continue another time. Thundos was only barely able to stand, moving around seemed almost impossible as he was now. Still he wanted to go on, didn’t want to give up now. They just started, so ending it here was frustrating at least. “I want to go on”, he said. Unfortunately it seemed to him, that Will wanted to stop it here, as he released Dragon Soul. But the following words of his teacher lit a spark in Thundos. He didn’t want to stop the spar here. Even though the young martial artist was in pain, he moved his body a bit, to get into a fighting stance. He wouldn’t be able to do much anymore, but still they moved on. The green bean, Thundos barely catched it in time, but nearly let it slip through his fingers, Thundos didn’t know what it would bring, even with his teachers words. How could such a small thing do all this? Guess he would figure it out, so he ate it. It didn’t take long until he felt better, most of the pain was gone, his broken ribs were probably healed too, also he felt new energy within him. Now he could fight back again, at least a bit. That was not too late, as Will already was on the attack again. The first attack, Thundos took a step back to evade and ducked under the kick coming at him afterwards. As his teacher said, he focused on melee attacks now, trying not to damage the area anymore than they already have. Thundos was sure, he could go his full speed again, but being within close combat sometimes it was better to be a bit slower, but more precise and agile. While still ducking under Wills kick, Thundos used this to take in a deep breath and concentrating to gather a bit more ki. After that Thundos tried to land a straight right strike. His family style empathises on kicks a lot, they are powerful, but could bring someone into a bad spot, if missed, that is if you can’t use ki. Still some striking moves are involved and Thundos knew them as well. "Thank you for the bean." Words: 399 1d100+25·1d10

Will was impressed that even after all that Thundos still wanted to go, that he still wanted to fight and continue improving himself. It is a good thing that Will gave him that bean then. Otherwise Will would just end it, but he is far too impressed by the skills Thundos has shown today to not give him a bean as a reward. He wonders how long will it take Thundos to manage to make another hit in. And as he is wondering when the next hit would be, he sees Thundos leg coming towards him. Will goes backwards, but Thundos foot still manages to hit Will's cheek. After rubbing his face he wondered how he wasn't able to dodge that one in time, but then he realized Thundos legs are much longer then his. Added with his speed and how close Will was to Thundos Will had a very small window to dodge. If Will took that into account he could've managed to get out of that attack quicker and perhaps could've avoided it, but now that he knows that he won't be hit like that again. Getting into a stance he goes close to Thundos to deliver a chop with his left arm to Thundos' left hip, and a palm strike with his right hand to Thundos' stomach. Again he managed to hit his teacher, Thundos was more and more thankful that this fight went on, instead of ending already. It was a good spar, one that will surely improve him. He wanted to treasure this a little longer, as he really enjoyed this, even after he was nearly passing out only a few moments ago. Now they were back at it and it seems like he could finally land some hits. After eating the bean and taking a deep breath he felt more at ease and refreshed but that was already a moment ago and now Thundos had to focus on the next attacks. Both attacks from Will, Thundos managed to see them coming at him so he was able to dodge them both by side stepping and taking a quickly went around his teacher. This way he wanted to be in a good spot to attack afterwards. This was great, he had an opponent that was far more experienced than him, someone from who one can learn a lot so he wanted to do so. Still he wanted to at least give his teacher a run for his money, maybe even beat him. To do so Thundos needed to attack Will and so he did. First he tried to strike with the tip of the finger, thrusting with his arm like with a spear, aming it at Wills chin. Afterwards he spun his upper body around, while raising one leg, trying to catch Wills neck, trying to hook it and pull his teacher around, bringing him to fall down. Will quick side stepped out of the way of the hand thrust attack towards his chin, narrowly dodging it with the attack brushing against his fur and the force of it creating a gust of wind the blew across the land. It felt kinda nice when it did that actually Will thought, but Will can't afford to let himself be distracted. He swayed his body again to dodge the kick and dodge under it barely going under it which created a small whirlwind picking up some leaves around Thundos. Will had to go as fast as he could to dodge those two attacks. If either did hit he would have taken a lot of damage. After all he wouldn't look like a master if he kept getting hit. At this point it was up to whoever was too tired to keep fighting. "It seems we both have enough to keep going for much longer, you're free to tell me when you're ready to give up. Although I won't be asking that any time soon." Will said. Now Will needed to think of a good way to be able to get Thundos. He then looked to his surroundings for something that could help, and he then looked up which gave him an idea. He jumped up and swing on a tree branch and swung off for a kick from from above to Thundos head, even if that doesn't hit Will floats in the air and prepares a double axe-handle to smack Thundos upside the head with both hands. This was one intense spar, Thundos could feel it. He also got on the edge of his stamina if this went on any further, actually he already was exhausted for a small time, but thanks to that senzu bean he was fine currently, even though it still hurt a bit, but not as bad as before. Still he probably used too much stamina, that needed some work, also he should master his techniques more, his trademark the Flashing Bolt wasn’t effective at all. He had to come up with a plan and quick. “I can still keep on, so let’s do so”, Thundos replied to his teacher. He really didn’t want to back down from this spar yet and he still got some energy left to fight. Plenty at that, being able to take in some deep breaths earlier helped also. Thundos noticed that Will was looking around, he probably wanted to start using the area again, so much to not damaging this forest anymore. Though it was unexpected, that Will actually used a tree to increase his momentum of the kick. That was a bit too much straight forward, so Thundos managed to dodge that pretty easy. The strike afterwards was harder, as it came pretty fast after the kick missed, actually almost instantly it seemed for the young fighter. Still he managed to get out of range in time. Now it should be his turn again. First he tried to jab his teacher with an elbow. Will blocked the elbow that almost hit his jaw with his arm, the impact causing a lot of small pebbles and leaves to be blown away around them. Will then saw that Thundos was spinning himself in midair in an attempt to kick Will. And it took a blink and suddenly he was gone and appeared a few feet behind Thundos. It seemed that he still had trouble hitting him, if Will used his telekinesis he would probably have an easier time. But he doesn't wanna risk hurting the environment again. Then he remembered how the Kabochan Emperor Cam used his psychic powers to augment his physical attacks with his psychic abilities. Perhaps Will can do the same with his body. "Now here's a useful tip for you, if someone you fought with before has similar power or abilities to yours then it wouldn't hurt to learn from how they use it differently and try to do it yourself. I fought with someone who uses their psychic powers to increase the physical capabilities instead of just throwing stuff around with their mind. And I had the idea right now to try the same thing during our battle so I wouldn't have to ruin this beautiful forest anymore. This is the first time I am trying something like this though, but don't afraid to experiment what you are capable of. Now let's see if you're capable of dodging my attacks now!" Will said. He then began surrounding his whole body with psychic energy. Suddenly he felt more weightless as if a lot of weight was taken off of his shoulders. He began moving much quicker and proceeded to give Thundos a quick barrage of punches and then finishes it off with a psychically enhanced kick. Again none of them are hitting each other, as they both keep dodging each other attacks. So did Thundos again, he was able to step out of the reach of Wills punches, but nearly would have been hit by the following kick. Instead Thundos also used to get behind his teacher in a blink. “I see, that is how you do it, but I still managed to dodge that”, Thundos said proud of himself. Though the kick almost had got him, if he didn’t react in time to increase his spead a bit further and evade the attack in this way. Though he was out if ideas for his own attacks. It seemed like whatever he did, he couldn’t break through Wills evasiveness. If non of his attacks connect, then he would never be able to land a strike and do something, though the same was true for his teacher at this point. Only one time he got a good strike in, but that did hurt a lot, if it wasn’t for this senzu bean, he wouldn’t be able to still be in the game. “Do you got any tip for me? Anything to improve myself so I could hit someone like you, that is cable of high speed and good at dodging attacks.” This was training right? So it should be okay for the student asking the teacher, but he wouldn’t be standing still. Thundos didn’t want to give in right now. For his next attacks Thundos used a consecutive of spinning kicks. He spun himself horizontally, trying to get momentum and landing two kicks that came in rapid succession. It seems that Thundos manages to dodge another one of Will's attacks and yet stills has more then enough energy to keep going compared to Will. Luckily uses his Psychic Powers doesn't require him to use any energy, but they are much weaker then his normal attacks. However, they are the only way he can move quick enough to be able to hit the speedy Thundos. And it seems Thundos has a question for the teacher this time. This is going to be tough to answer. "Well I already said to hit where they are going to be instead of where they are, but ranged attacks also help a lot especially if you have good aim and you attack has a large radius or is just a giant beam of Ki. However, it is good to learn from how your opponent moves and attacks. Cause by knowing how they would defend from an attack, you can then try something unexpected or different to catch them off guard to hit them. And by knowing how they fight you can then be able to dodge whatever they throw at you easier by knowing where they would usually hit so you can protect those parts. See if you can get a hit in." Will said. Will blocked the first spinning kick with his arm taking no damage from it, and then gets hit by the second and gets knocked into a tree. The thud causes a few leaves to fall off, but not any major damage. Will got up and dusted himself off. He got a hit in quicker then he thought. Now he should try to do the same. Will rushed in and flew to face level at Thundos, he went for a right hook and then stops and goes for a uppercut with his chin with his left arm. And then follows with a knee strike to the chest. Thundos was able to see again that his attacks didn’t do much to harm his teacher. Still he was able to manage to connect with two attacks in a row. Maybe the teaching of Will was slowly showing to improve himself. It felt great, now he only had to work on his damage output. “Alright, thank you teacher”, Thundos said thankfully. “I think that I start to become better. I will show you that.” At least that was, what he wanted to do, now he had to take his words and thoughts into action. Will was at face level which only could mean, that he wanted to hit Thundos at his head. First he was going for a feint, but somehow Thundos could see that coming and was able to dodge that attack, it was a close call but he managed to read his opponents movement overall pretty good, at least that was what Thundos thought. The following attack was a knee strike, again he managed to evade this attack, by using his ki to accelerate in an instant to his full speed moving backwards. Thundos used the trunk of a tree to keep his momentum, or even increase it a little bit. Now it was his turn to try a feint attack. First he seemed like coming straight at Will, seemingly trying to punch his teacher, but instead he turned left past Will and then right again, to get behind him. Right on the last turn Thundos start spinning and went for a spinning back hand sweep, hoping to hit with it. This spar was certainly an intense work out. Two Earthling titans duking it out for this long surely was making his muscles sore. Will is glad he hasn't been using his full power otherwise this spar would've ended much quicker. Nevertheless he can't let Thundos win even if it's it a spar. He remembers how Roshi was once heralded as the "Invincible Master" that no one could beat. Whether it was true or not he needed to prove a point that Thundos should continue to improve cause there's always someone better then you. Will managed to easily dodge the back hand sweep, but was ending up being caught off guard by the scorpion kick. What really caught him off guard the most is that's not even a martial arts move it's a soccer move. Although Will's head is black and white and shaped like a ball so in this case it might as well be one. Will ended up being thrown in the air for a couple miles before making a halt in midair and floats there. He looks down at Thundos and decides to use telepathy to send him a message from up there. "Soccer isn't really martial arts, but I'll give you points for creativity. Hey why don't you fly up here so we can continue fighting so we won't have to hurt anymore of the land below." Will messaged. As soon as Thundos came up to Will up in the clouds with him Will tried to think of a clever way to hit him. He then scratches his fur and sheds some of it and then this gives him an idea. He picks up the fur with his telekinesis and strengthens them to be hard as steel to make into makeshift needles. Sometimes you just got to come up with something brand new, when nothing else seemed to work. That was one of this moments. At least Thundos felt the urge to try it and it actually worked. Maybe he could put it into his repertoire, for a future bout. Though it would be hard to use it again, effectively and left you open, so only for a surprise attack. Thundos noticed, that he was able to bring in a good, clean hit. “Did I got you off guard there, my teacher?” He smirked for a short while, before nodding to Will’s suggestion. “Yeah, we really did some damage here.” So he really followed his teacher up into the sky, stopping some meters away. Thundos awaited the next attacks from his teacher, but he first scratched his fur, before the inspiration struck him, it seemed for Thundos. Next he had to dodge his teachers fur, he didn’t see that coming, that was for sure. Still he managed to dodge the first fur needle with somewhat ease, but the next would have struck him, if he didn’t used his ki to accelerate. Thundos did, so he managed to step out of the way and used that momentum to attack. First he tried to kick at his teacher with the right leg to the head. So here they were fighting high in the sky. It seemed once again Thundos speed prevent Will from landing any hits. Even while doing something so unexpected and bizarre then weaponizing fur. Like that was the most creative move he could think of on the fly and that didn't do anything. Thundos could potentially be able to wear out fighters stronger then Will if he manages to last long enough to be able to dodge everything that would be thrown his way, and Will seems to be no exception to that. Will managed to do a short up in the air to avoid the kick and manages to grab Thundos and flip over him to avoid the ki blast fired at point blank range. It seems Thundos needs to be hit with something with a little more oomph but Will is worried that doing so could kill him or hurt him really bad. True they aren't in the forest but damage could still be made to the land. For instance if he were to use Vengeful Flames and it were to miss then it would start a wildfire. Original Kamehameha would also extremely be a bad idea to use. "Hey, not to be a backseat fighter, but remember how we talked about a way for me to lend you some of my power? Let's try that?" Dragon Soul suggested. Of course they never had the chance to test if that was possible, but now would be a good time as any. Will's eyes began to open a glow as a magical aura swirls around him. "Cha la!" he yelled out. And soon Dragon Soul's large muscular arms were being worn over Will's like gauntlets. It look ridiculous, however it did help give Will more range with his melee attacks and hit as hard as Dragon Soul can. He then began to copy the way Dragon Soul would pummel his opponent only say "Nya!" instead of Dragon Soul's "Ryu!" with each punch during the barrage.
