PLANET EARTH, Crane Style School.
"Is this the best you can offer?"
His booming voice echoed throughout the vast courtyard of the Crane School.
Smoldering craters littered the once manicured lawns and shrubbery, wisps of dark smoke rising from the pockmarked gouges that rent the earth. Stone pillars had crumbled, lying in broken heaps. A once majestic stone fountain had been split cleanly in two, a gushing spout of clear water streaming from the wreckage and pooling around its base, flooding the nearby area. Scorch marks and burns marred the surrounding walls.
The very air itself seemed to thrum with demonic energy. The bodies of the students who occupied the Crane School at the time of Colt's arrival littered the ground en mass. Colt was beginning to regret not killing the lot of them鈥攁ll the groaning and cries of pain were starting to wear on his nerves.
"...pathetic."
Colt had come to the Crane School looking for a challenge. Ever since fully awakening his demon half and undergoing his traumatic transformation, he sought to test the limits of his newfound strength. Either he was far too strong, or the men he'd just fought posed little challenge. The latter had to be true鈥攁fter all, some powerful Z-Force fighters were graduates of the school.
With a dissatisfied grunt, Colt dusted off the sleeves of his white and purple custom kosode, which hung from his powerful frame. Aside from a few minute tears and rips, it had remained in tact.
It was not enough of a test for his power.
Reaching down, Colt grabbed one of the injured students by the scruff of his robes and hauled him up. He held him in the air with one arm, the young male grimacing in pain. Bleeding hands pried weakly at Colt's iron grip, but escape was futile.
"I thought you lot were supposed to be the strongest Earth had to offer?" Colt complained, his thick brow narrowed in frustration. "If this is the best you've got..."
Colt raised his free hand, aiming it at the center of the grounds. A pulsing purple orb began to form, doubling in size as it swelled with demonic power. Sparks crackled and fizzed off its volatile surface. It was enough power to destroy a significant portion of the school.
"...there's little point in allowing you to exist."
PLANET EARTH, Tsumisumbri Mountains.
It hadn't taken long for the youth to spill his secrets.
Before Colt could destroy the grounds, he confessed of a warrior far stronger than himself. Perhaps even stronger than the vicious half-demon. He lived in the Tsumisumbri Mountains, far within the icy northern reaches.
But the man could not confirm whether this warrior truly existed or not. In the end, Colt spared him and the rest of the students. Killing them would have brought unnecessary attention, and he didn't need any of the Z-Force warriors coming to exact revenge. Not before Colt had a chance to explore the true depths of his power.
Flying at mach speeds, Colt sped toward the northern hemisphere of the Earth, seeking this mysterious warrior. It did not take him long to enter the mountains.
The temperature here was well below freezing, strong gusts of cold wind plastering his hair and clothes against his body. The cold did not bother him as much as it would have bothered a normal mortal鈥攖he hot demon blood that coursed through his veins kept him warm against the impending chill that threatened to settle into his bones.
Amber eyes searched the surrounding mountains, their stony peaks crested with deep snow and thick ice. At a glance, this area appeared uninhabited.
"Only a fool would choose to live in this place. A fool... or a mad man."
Colt muttered to himself, his deep grumble easily lost upon the swirling gales of icy winds that swept through the mountains.
How was he going to find this powerful warrior here, of all places?
Maybe he should just decimate the entire area and see if he could draw the warrior out. If the rumors held true, Colt would certainly test his mettle.

Gurki had been up before the sun had even awaken as he sat atop a mountain with his legs crossed. His white aura simmered about his form keeping him warm from the chilling cold. This would be the last time he would follow this routine he had set for himself 4 years ago. On this particular day this would change, the rough looking warrior had been meditating before an unknown power source had caught his attention. He slowly stood up tracing the direction of the source. "Interesting" he thought to himself knowing that there had been no visitors this far north since someone at the Crane School told him about the isolated location and shown him the path that only led to the beginning of the frozen mountain range. Gurki suppressed his power by 50% knowing that this person was most likely in search of him, but the reason was completely unknown to Gurki. Gurki surveyed the lands below attempting to trace the power source with his eyes, but due to the cold climate and limited visibility he couldn't see anything. Gurki floated into the air as he began to descend to the lower grounds of the mountain hoping to meet this unknown visitor. TAG: @null WC: 204

There was a certain quality of peace and solitude to the mountains. Colt could understand why a lone warrior would seclude himself in such a place.
It afford the perfect opportunity to train in proper seclusion. Out here, amid the frosted tips of the desolate mountain range, there was no need to worry about going all out. Something told him the ice that coated the mountains was far more durable than it looked, and could probably withstand an assault from the most powerful of warriors.
Yet it also afforded a certain danger. Strenuous combat in these mountains could trigger devastating avalanches.
It sparked an idea in his mind. If the warrior would not come to him, then perhaps he would draw him out. Colt raised a hand and aimed for the nearest peak. Just before he fired his attack, he sensed it.
A strong power level, and it was drawing near. Spinning in mid-air, Colt turned to see a distant figure approach from high in the mountains. He seemed to materialize from nowhere. His black hair was long and unkempt, much like his beard. A small man, no bigger than a common youth, though with a body honed and defined from years of staunch discipline.
Colt sneered at his approach, his long crimson ponytail flapping in the brisk gusts of wind.
"Are you the great warrior hidden in the mountains? If so, I am quite disappointed."

Gurki landed softly on the ground after learning of where the unknown power source was coming from. The person before him dwarfed him in size but it seemed their raw power was almost equal. Gurki scratched his ruff beard and pondered at the question considering he had no idea who or why he asked the question. Gurki gave him a goofy look before responding.
"Who's asking?" Gurki wasn't the type to be questioned by unknown people especially if they sought to do him harm. He was for the most part a ghost to the outside world, so for this man to be standing here asking questions he had to have known him or was seeking something for personal gain.
Gurki felt something slightly off when he sensed his power but was unsure why. It wasn't normal, at least to Gurki it wasn't since he had been in solitude for the past few years. Gurki stood firm atop frozen ground, preparing his body to react just in case this wasn't a friendly visit. His aura continued to flow about his form while he was still suppressed to about 30,000. He waited for a response from the unknown person infront of him before he would answer his question.

"Tch."
His stern gaze slipped over the unassuming boy before him. He wore a plain gi, deep purple in color with a red sash tied around his waist. Though the colors were different it was similar in style to the Crane School pupils Colt had thrashed.
"It's proper to offer an introduction before a battle. But I'm not even sure you're worth my time."
His gruff voice was hard as stone, his words blunt and direct. Colt narrowed his eyes in suspicion as he tried to sense the man's power level. It was strong, of that there was little doubt. But it did not reflect what the student had told him. There was fear in the pupil's eyes鈥攈e thought his life would soon be forfeit, so the last thing he would do is lie.
That would make him an utter fool.
His geta sandals sank into the deep snow as Colt took a few tentative steps toward the man, his large hands flexing with eager anticipation. Colt savored the few tense moments before an inevitable battle. The weighing of odds, the forming of tactics, then tossing it all haplessly aside as the reality of battle sank in.
He supposed he could test this man by attacking him. But subterfuge just wasn't his style. Besides, there were proper proceedings before a battle of this sort.
"Let's cut to the chase. We're going to fight. You have no choice in the matter. Hide your strength all you want... you'll just wind up dead in this hell hole. Choice is yours. First though... we drink. You got any plum wine?"

Gurki slightly started to chuckle as he could feel Gula's bluntness was about to pour out. Despite Gurki being completely opposite, the person before him didn't know what was about to be unleashed in this desolate and frozen plain. Gurki no longer suppressed his power allowing for the individual to watch as his white aura grew brighter no longer only surrounding his form, but seeming like a blazing fire.
"Rule of combat, never underestimate your opponent" he said with a focused look on his face.
Gurki ignored his request to drink before the battle seeing it as a tatic for him to possibly be at a disadvantage. Afterall only thing he had been drinking the last four years was the ice cold water that he melted himself. Gurki smirked at the person before him that declined to introduce himself as requested.
"I guess we shall make this place your frozen grave with only the writtings of 'Beware before entering" on your tombstone.
Gurki dropped into a fighting stance as he readied himself preparing to counter whatever this individual threw at him. It was rare that someone traveled so far to challenge him, but this would be the first challenge since his brothers death. This very well would be his first lesson in combat, one he figured would be down to the wire.

The half demon's eyes narrowed as the warrior standing before him slipped into a fighting stance with practiced ease. He bore the tale-tell signs of an experienced warrior. From the way he held his arms close to his body, to the strength evident in his legs. At a moment's notice, the warrior could move to press Colt with an assault, or defend his own life.
It wouldn't be easy to pass through that strong a guard. But that wasn't the big man's concern at the moment.
Colt planted his fists on his hips, the tapping of his foot betraying his impatience. He sighed, his breath clouding before him in the frigid winter air, dissipating as another cold gust of wind swept through the makeshift valley. It reminded both men that the weather was still a viable threat in this conflict. If they weren't careful, they would freeze to death.
But Colt possessed a stubborn streak a mile long.
He sank to the ground and sat cross-legged. A light, icy drizzle began to fall, dusting his head and shoulders with powdered snow. Hands resting idly against his thighs, Colt closed his eyes and jutted out his chin in an act of utter confidence and defiance.
"You must be deaf. I already told you鈥攚e drink, then we fight. Go get us some wine. I'll wait here."
He jabbed his pinky finger in his ear, as if dealing with some incessant itch. In truth, it was to get a rise out of the fighter and test the limits of his patience and restraint.
"Hurry it up. It's freezing out here."

Gurki paused for a moment before cracking a smile and returning to his previous posture. This warrior was serious about this drink, more serious then his original goal of fighting Gurki. It honestly took him by surprised and couldn't take him serious, especially since he thought he was going to tell Gurki what to do. Did this muscle bound warrior think that Gurki was beneath him? Or was he just naturally this way? Gurki would soon find out.
"You serious eh" Gurki said while trying not to laugh. "Someone as big as you surely doesn't want to drink a weak drink like wine. What are you MAN or a MOUSE?" The saying his brother Gula use to tell him all the time to persuade him to come and follow his foot steps.. "I suggest we find one of these stern drinks in town, I mean if you are MAN enough."
Gurki smirked seemingly just joking as he really couldn't take this warrior serious, but still he was on guard because he didn't know his true intentions or how he would respond back. Gula had completely shown his head during this conversation and Gurki had no problem adopting that trait from his twin brother.

It was the oldest deception in the book.
If this warrior were wise, he wouldn't deign to turn his back on a stranger鈥攅specially a stranger whose sole purpose was to defeat him in battle. If he were a fool, he would acquiesce to Colt's request.
And find a fist piercing his heart.
It would seem this fighter would not be fooled by such deceptions. Instead, he called into question Colt's own character, his blunt words stepping all over the half demon's pride. It was a newfound pride, newly birthed from his experience with Kuueru in the demon realm. Who was this man to mock it?
"I see you are not a fool. Had you gone for the wine... I'd have tried by best to kill you with one blow. As it stands, you still live. So have a tiny portion of my respect for that."
The ground began to tremble, small pebbles and bits of ice shaking and rising from the icy earth as the area around Colt grew dense and thick with malicious aura. It spiked all around him, enveloping Colt in swirling purple aura. It danced unbridled around his thick, muscular frame as he rose to his feet. His gaze was iron, his tensed jaw set with grim determination as he stared down his opponent.
"But that is all the praise you'll get from me!"
He pushed out aura out around him, heightening his demonic senses. This would allow him a better opportunity to allude whatever attack the man might throw at him. Retrieving a dyno cap from the white sash tied firmly around his thick waist, Colt pressed the button and tossed it into the air. In a puff a smoke, a pair of four spinning weapons emerged.
Drawn by gravity they fell to the earth, sharp ends penetrating the thick, icy soil, standing straight up in a semi-circle surrounding Colt. Four powerful javelins with sharp blades that glinted in the bright morning light. There for his use, and to grant him a measure of versatility in battle.
Now for the final piece of the puzzle. Hoping for the element of surprise, Colt reared back, sucking the frigid mountain air into his lungs. There it rapidly heated, churning in his gut before he expelled it from his mouth in a streaming gout of purple flames.
The ground sizzled, ice and snow melting at the searing heat as it flew in the fighter's direction, hoping to set him ablaze!

Gurki smirked knowing that there was some hidden agenda the entire time, but the fact it was to kill him disgusted Gurki. "All that big talk and muscles and you wanna strike me from behind, that must say your fighting skills are sub-par." Gurki dropped into his fighting stance once more before smirking at the warrior across from. Gurki's look was serious as he watched the his aura flare about his form giving gurki's demonic feeling. The ground shook but this didn't surprise him at all, as it was typical when powering up, he learned this a long time ago. What did surprise Gurki was that the fighter before him took a deep breath before breathing out what seemed to be infernal flames. They immediately engulfed Gurki merging with his own white aura that had seemed to grow in radius as if protecting Gurki. Despite direct contact Gurki seemed unarmed as the flames burned about his form. But little did his enemy know that Gurki had learned to deal with pain and his toughness was unmatched. He looked at the warrior across from him before launching a frontal attack at him, leaving crushed ice from where he took off. Gurki threw several combinations at the man before jumping backwards right before a light in the sky flickered. Several seconds later that light faded and a large beam shot down towards Gurki's target. His ship from above had been linked to Gurki's brain and was also attaching. Gurki stood several yards away as the flames continued to burn on him. TAG: @null WC: 259 BATTLE TRACKERSUMMARY

The gout of demon fire hit its mark with impressive precision. The flames roiled over the warrior, engulfing him in malicious flames. Colt chuckled, his thick arms folded before him, admiring his handiwork. Yet as the flames dissipated, despite obvious wounds from the burn, the fighter seemed unharmed. If he had not seen it with his own eyes, Colt could not have believed such a thing to be possible.
"Tch. You're a tough one, aren't you?" Colt sneered, swiping a thumb across the bridge of his nose. "Guess I'd be disappointed if that wiped you out."
The warrior launched his counteroffensive. His strikes were precise, his blows heavy, yet Colt weaved effortlessly between them, receiving little more than a few glancing blows. One of the great benefits of his newfound body was the heightened durability that seemed to come with it. If he'd known this extra bulk would work to strengthen him, Colt would have given in to his demonic urges decades ago. Ducking one final roundhouse that might have jarred his brains loose, Colt started to launch his counterattack.
He never suspected the attack from above. Glancing up, the energy blast hurtled through the sky and slammed into him with force. There wasn't even time to guard as the energy coalesced around him, causing an explosion within a diameter of twenty feet. Though it scorched the surrounding ice, most of it remained intact, though a series of spiderweb cracks had formed along the surface, the ice snapping and sizzling from the attack.
The energy dissipated, leaving Colt standing there in mild amusement. The blast had left rips and burns in his clothing, and he ripped off the remains of the tattered cloth and tossed it aside, revealing his powerful frame beneath. "Guess I'm not the only one willing to use deception. How the pot calls the kettle black!"
Colt yanked two of the javelins from the ground and rushed at his opponent. With two mighty thrusts, he sought to impale the fighter on the ends of his weapons!

Gurki watched as the warrior before him easily withstood his attacks, even with his ship launching a energy beam down upon him it only tore his clothes up and nothing more. "Your pretty sturdy" he said upon watching the man recover from the surprise attack. Although he was sturdy now Gurki would test this to see how long he could last. Gurki was pretty durable himself so this would be the perfect test for him to see just how much he could withstand and endure versus an equal opponent. Gurki watched as the warrior grabbed his weapons and dashed at him, but he had already seen his movements easily dodging the his deadly trusts before jumping backwards and dropping back into his fighting stance. "Not bad but you shouldn't be so direct, someone could easily counter you and depending on the person it could be life ending." Although Gurki was currently fighting for his life he always wanted his opponent to be at their best, this was the only way that Gurki would improve. Gurki launched off the ground again directly at the warrior this time with energy forming in his hand about the size of a baseball. Once he was a few feet he launched the ball directly at Colt's torso forcing him to make a touch decision. Particularly the targeted area would be to hard to dodge and they would have block or would get hit. As his energy ball grew closer he vanished from sight appearing above him with a large energy sphere above his head. Gurki screamed out, "Hey you" attempting to get his attention before his smaller energy ball would make contact and launch his energy sphere directly at his head. Gurki watched to see how his opponent would respond to this attack from directly infront of him and above him. He possibly couldn't defend himself from both attacks at once, could he? The tips of his short spears were a hair's breadth from piercing the warrior's chest.
It was an impressive feint, evident in Colt's expression. Eyes widened in surprise, brow raised in confusion, for a moment Colt wondered if the man had teleported.
No... not teleportation...
He'd teleported with Kuueru enough times to recognize it.
It brought a slight smirk to his face.
"That... was impressive. Truth be told, I wasn't expecting you to dodge that." He'd channeled too much aura into his attack. Cracks appeared in the steel heads of the weapons. They landed with a heavy thunk upon the ice as he dropped them. "But don't suppose to lecture me on how to fight! You're barely a whelp鈥擨've fought against beings you couldn't begin to imagine."
He gripped the hilt of the remaining two javelins, ripping them from the ice. The blades glinted dangerously in the bright sunlight as Colt whirled them about with expert precision, showing off his martial ability with the weapons before he sunk into a low defensive stance, javelins held aloft and at the ready for either offense or defense.
The fighter launched himself at Colt, lobbying an orb of powerful condensed energy at him.
Crossing his arms before him in an 'X' pattern, the blast slammed into him. It sent him slipping backward over the ice, the intensity of the explosion burning the flesh of his forearms. It would have hurt much worse, but Colt opened his mouth and sucked in a portion of the energy.
It coiled in him, dispersing and empowering him enough to dodge the second, overhead blast the warrior leveled at him. Colt flickered from view, only to reappear above the reclusive warrior's head, weapons held aloft as he prepared to strike.
"I wasn't born yesterday!"
Chest expanding as he sucked in air, Colt expelled another powerful gout of flames at him, hoping to burn him yet again. Or at the very least, distract him to land a direct blow.
This time, he launched both javelins with all of his might. They hurtled toward the warrior at a frightening speed.
"Let's see you dodge this again!"

Gurki smirked as the warrior before him seemed to start to get angry as he mocked him. Truth be told if he had fought beings he couldn't imagine, Gurki was stronger than he originally thought. This boosted his confidence and made if want to prove how strong he was. The man attacked again this time Gurki didn't even decide to dodge or block. He stood firm as his aura blended with the man's flaming breath once more barely burning Gurki. He watched as the man's weapons made his way towards Gurki, but this wouldn't be an attacked he would allow to hit I'm directly as it could easily impale him.A mystical white energy srrounded him nearly blocking the attack with one only scratching him. Gurki hopped backwards as they fell to the ground.
"Not bad but I thought you'd due better for someone who has fought higher caliber people" he mocked. Gurki felt they were more even than the man thought and Gurki wasn't even using his full capabilities. He paused for a moment before deciding to attack the man.
"Giving that we are both sturdy warriors let's just agree to meet at a later date to decide the true winner." Gurki felt it was pointless for them to continue like that as it could last for days or even weeks with the one with the most stamina mainly winning this fight. Gurki relaxed as his body glowed as his own aura engulfed the flames completely.
"What do you say?"
OOC: I just went ahead and went with a basic posts since I could trinket the flames and use my constructs to negate the damage from 9 to 1 from your attack. TAG: @null WC: 251

The area around them had not fared well in the clash. Deep gouges covered the ground, as if some large animal had swiped at the ice and left a gargantuan mark. There were pockmarked craters, smoldering from the heat of Colt's fire breath. Even the mountains themselves seemed to echo with the final vestiges of their battle.
Colt sat cross-legged on a hill of snow and ice, seemingly unbothered by the piercing wind, whipping his hair and bashing his body. He felt sore, tired, and greatly irritated.
He'd wiped out those students at the Crane School with ridiculous ease. How, then, could one youth bear the brunt of his aggression?
"I want to kill you."
Colt glared daggers at him, a sneer curling his lip. "...but you've bested me."
He sighed, rising to a standing position.
"In truth, I had not expected you to weather my assault. At the same time, perhaps I could be thanking you. It was as if I were fighting myself, and I learned something valuable here today."
Built like the very mountains that surrounded them, Colt had placed great pride in his physique. But he would learn that it would take more than just strength to win a battle. He would face many types of foes, and if he wanted to be victorious, Colt would need to learn to adapt to the situation.
"Let's go get that drink. I know a place."
That said, he kicked off from the ground and began to fly toward a nearby village he was familiar with. They would grow drunk on plum wine, and share a good laugh or two.
Perhaps Colt had even found an ally in this mysterious stranger.
