The Galaxy was filled with countless space stations- each with their own purpose, though maintenance and refueling was by far the most prevalent among them, and for good reason. On one such station(named in a language that Amara likened to incoherent gurgling), things were not quite as they seemed. What they seem like, one might ask? Well! It seemed like some upstart Saiyan had found herself on the wrong side of this particular station’s criminal underbelly. She dashed through tightly packed market corridors, barreling over shopper and shopkeeper alike- often being required to leap over entire stalls to prevent from slowing down by crashing through them. Behind her, a ragtag assortment of alien nobodies were in hot pursuit, with each barking out various forms of “Get back here!” and “Stupid girl!”, with a smattering of, “Nobody steals from us!” In short, it seemed as though Amara had pilfered her day’s earnings from precisely the most incorrigible of people, and was presently fleeing their wrath. However, Amara might have presented her story differently- if anyone cared to listen. They didn’t- they couldn’t- and they simply wouldn’t believe that she was not fleeing from them so much as baiting them toward a supposedly unpopulated hangar, so as to turn abruptly and engage them in battle without risking collateral damage. Things… even still were not as they seemed-- Amara burst through the doors into the aformentioned hangar and slid to a stop, intending to pivot and ready herself for her attackers… only this hangar was not empty at all. It had a singular ship within its confines, and the A.I. strapped to her wrist immediately set to glowing an ominous red, intending to inform her that someone was, in fact, already here. Sly

The days work was complete and a time of unwinding was quickly approaching, and needed greatly. The small framed raccoon casually weaves throughout the packed marketplace, which was filled with people of whom had mostly questionable morals. It was an amazing thing about criminals, all of them wanted to remain undetected and hard to find by enforcement officials. However, they always managed to found the same decrepit places to gather. Perhaps it was the aura they gave off that always attracted them to the dark corners of the galaxy. When out in the open and with everyday joes, at least for Sly and he figured those similar to him, he felt as if everyone knew his secrets and could smell the stench of one whose made a living off of questionable life decisions. So due to these reasons he always found himself surrounded by similar people, sharing war stories, downing liquor, or being able to disappear in the crowd of likeness. A hard bump to his shoulder quickly got his attention. His eyes darted up just in time for him to catch a girl obviously fleeing. In tow just behind were several others, obviously some type of victims he thought. He only caught a quick glimpse of the fleeing one’s face, but it didn’t appear to a face of fear. Instead a face of confidence and possibly someone with a plan. Normally he was not the type to interfere, but he at least wanted to watch from a distance and see how the situation played out. A quick change of direction, a dash, and a jump found him quietly at the heels of the sprinting crowd. A empty hangar was in sight, well nearly empty. The raccoon managed to perch himself on a beam high within the hangar. Hopefully undetected to the crowd. A small smirk stayed on his face as he watched down below. It appeared that things were rapidly approaching a conflict, and he was ready for the show. awfulwaffle

The ‘fleeing’ girl snapped her gaze this way and that, attempting to locate whoever had potentially foiled her plan…. to no obvious success. Naturally, her AI was attempting to warn her of the bystander’s location, but she was too enthralled her own search to pay it much mind. Before she was able to properly complete her own search, her attention was commanded back into her own predicament by an arc of plasma racing past her head- a round fired from one of the criminal thug’s pistols. She scowled. “ Oi! Be careful in here, there’s a guy’s ship just hangin’ out over there!” she attempted to chastise the offending thug, but was met instead with another warning shot. “ I don’t give two shits about that ship, girl. You stole from us, and now we’re gunna punish you!” the alien barked at her- quite literally, given his apparent canine qualities. This prompted a loud sigh from Amara’s side. “ Sorry to disappoint, fellas-- I ain’t one of those girls that likes to be spanked--” Amara countered with a taunting extension of her tongue. She followed quicky with both hands rising before her and a sudden, “ CC, Hammer!” That command caused the device at her wrist to open up and spring a small capsule into the air, only for it to burst into a small plume of smoke- resulting in Amara’s hands being filled by a long warhammer with an inornate, blocky, head. The assortment of thugs raised their weapons and began firing in full at her. Amara was quick to respond by slamming her hammer into the ground with enough force to drive one of the floor’s metal ‘tiles’ out of its fittings, lifting upward to form a nearly vertical wall to shield her from the blasters’ plasma bolts. She waited safely behind the tile’s shielding, listening carefully for the telling clicks of the thugs’ reloading. Sly

"Impressive," the furry rodent muttered to himself as he witnessed the battle unfold beneath him. Battle tactics out of the ordinary always intrigued him, and this unknown female seemed to fit the bill. Anyone could fire blasts of ki back and forth, but to be able to wield a weapon had so much more required talent in his opinion. He continued to observed as she created a shield to protect herself from the various blast from the pursuers weapon blast. With a shrug of the shoulders, he decided it was time to intervene. His right paw opened and ki began to build up within it. In a matter of moments a long sniper type rifle formed. Within seconds, he had the ki sniper locked, loaded, and ready to go. The raccoon looked down the scope and took aim at one of the unknown goons. A quick pull of the trigger and a massive blast could be heard echoing throughout the hangar. A massive orange ki shaped bullet raced down from above and struck one of the thugs dead center in the chest. The energy ripped through the goons chest and continued by racing out of the hangar and out of distance. Instant panic ensued, Sly jumped down from the hangar and landed behind cover next to the unknown girl. He gave a awkward looking thumbs up, "I don't really know what's going on here, but I decided I am on your side." His paw then pointed over to the lone ship within the hangar, "That your escape plan?" awfulwaffleWC: 260

Amara’s expression told that she was very clearly taken by surprise with the sudden appearance of a furry ally at her side. She looked down to him with that jaw-gaping face of disbelief and simply blinked a few times. Who in the actual heck would jump into the middle of a fight like this, she wondered? Her questions were answered quickly by the realization that he was wielding a long-barreled rifle, freshly heated by a recent shot. It made sense- he was small, probably too much so to do considerable damage on his own in close quarters, but could hide more easily and serve as a long-range support. With that realization, the Saiyan’s slack jaw snapped back up to a broad grin. “ Ahoy, little friend! I’d shake your hand, but y’know, circumstances. M’name’s Amara, and those guys?” she nodded toward the makeshift barrier, indicating the thugs beyond its protective shell, “ Are assholes. But- no, that’s not my ship. I thought this place was empty, s’why I baited them ba--” the Saiyan’s words were cut short by a plasma bolt punching through her barrier to lance between the two unlikely allies. “ -- see? Assholes. I’m not too good at adjusting my game on the fly, so I hope you can adapt better, ‘cause I’m gunna expose us for my counter. Right…” she pushed her hammer deeper into the floor, then snapped it upward to send the metal tile flipping more than ten meters into the air. “ ... NOW!” The hammer-wielder jumped into the air to follow the flying tile. When she was level with it, Amara took a flash of a second to best calculate her strike, then brought her hammer wide around and smashed it against the tile’s center. It dented heavily around her hammer’s head just before rocketing diagonally downward, crushing a poor thug beneath its force. Sly WC: 314 Total Personal WC: 918

The girl was impressive the raccoon thought to himself. He always respected someone who could battle, and think ahead when need be. To bad this ship was in here, he would of enjoyed her plan if it wasn't foiled by the space ship's presence. His eyes followed as his ally crushed an attacker with the hammer she wielded. The raccoon chuckled and decided it would be an appropriate time for him to jump back into the heat of things. Force to leave his cover, the furry rodent drew two home made revolvers from their holsters. The revolvers color changed and popped with uneven sounding energy as he fired blast after blast at the attackers. Instantly the battle caused a cloud of smoke and debris to be formed, filling nearly the entire hangar. Once the dust would finally settle, the only two left standing would be Sly and his ally. He looked over and chuckled once more, "Well that was kinda fun huh?" A humming sound then began to stir behind him, causing him to jump slightly. He looked back to see the space ship start to raise off of the ground. He readied himself to jump out of the way in case of some type of attack, but nothing of the sort came. The ship simply floated a few inches off of the floor, until a door on the side opened and steps leading to the entrance fell to the ground below. "Ahhh I guess they want to meet us?" awfulwaffle (Sorry for the long delay, I had a crazy work week and family in town over the weekend)
