Audrey glanced at her mobile which displayed 02:00 on it's screen. 2 AM. Early riser she may be, even the android don't make a habit of waking up that early. No, the reason she had woke up that early was because of a bad dream that had plague her recently. Ever since that deal with Anzu which cause her to possess real flesh the android began to experience more things that she would normally associate as something only a flesh human being would. In a way, it was a boon as it meant that she became less synthetic in nature but she wished she can do something about te dream. Slipping out of the sleeping bag the android walked towards the window of the empty building she had taken rest for the night. Sure, she could have slept in her comfortable bed within her private cruiser but being here directly on the battlefield keep her sensors sharp. The scene outside the window was familiar to her. A city ruined by war between two nations of the planet. Most people had already evacuated and the people who still remained either lack the capability to do so or are mercenaries looking to earn their money in battle. The android was in the latter category. Her mission this time was to recover the microchips embedded within the military androids that met their end on the battlefield. Those chips often contain sensitive intel which would make it disadvantageous for their employer should they fall into the enemies hands. Grab those intel and get out of the area. Not her first rodeo and definitely not her favorite kind either. Only reason she did this kind of job was because of the handsome reward and also presented her with a perfectly reasonable excuse to beat the crap out of mercenaries who looked at her funny. At least that's what she told herself. In truth she felt sympathetic of the plight of these androids. More often than not they were used as expendable resource, often for military strategies or gamble with very low risk of success. She wished there was more she could have done for them but she had her hands tied up with handling war and training her significant other. "Maybe there's something good on the radio." the statement was moreso to herself as she take out her mobile for something to listen to on that night. CipherWord Count: 400

Not wanting to disturb her significant other while she slumbered, Cipher sat on her knees in the room opposite. Both her organic and metallic hand rested atop her lap. With her eyes closed, she meditated in one place for many hours. The stale scent of mould wafted through the air and invaded her nostrils, failing to disturb her colourless expression. Despite the chill of night, Cipher remained still as a statue. In that moment, she exclusively heeded the sound of her own breathing and the rise and fall of her chest. When circumstance prevented her from entering the gravity chamber, the Saiyan resorted to honing herself spiritually instead of physically. Her energy outlined her body with a thin, black luminescence. Where others tended to meditate to clear their minds and obtain a state of serenity, Cipher pulled herself into a different “zone”. The Saiyan hoisted herself into the depths of negativity. She submerged herself in the vitriol of her own rage, hatred, and malice to summon it as her weapon whenever she needed it. Instead of blindly attacking with reckless abandon, she adopted a fighting style that channelled her feelings of cold hate and seething ire into precise, brutal attacks aiming to decisively slay her foes. By steeping herself in the darkness routinely, her power grew exponentially. Cipher heard Audrey’s words from the room parallel to her own but remained silent. Focusing and exercising her aggressive energy, she trained herself while waiting for something to happen requiring an iron touch. She felt detached from her body, as though she observed her own actions rather than being the pilot. The woman felt present in the moment, but at the same time not there. Despite exercising her energy, she suppressed it deep into her soul to go unnoticed by anyone around them who dared trespass on their temporary refuge. In essence, Cipher waited for someone to fetch her or something notable to thieve her attention from her current secluded activity. She wanted to help Audrey with the endeavour she assumed but desired her full power for the sudden detour.

Putting on the earpiece for the headphone, the android fiddled with her mobile as she searched for her favorite radio station. As she didn't hear anything from her partner's side of the room she just assumed that her partner didn't want to be disturbed. Soon her favorite DJ voice filled her ear and the android exhale slightly as she leaned backward to the wall near the window. Even though she appeared vulnerable to outsiders, in truth the building they were in were set with so many sensors and makeshift alarm of both electronic and non-electronic in nature. Each of them were connected to her in various ways that even with her focus on the radio before her, she would be alerted anyway. Anyone who thought they would be easy prey to creep up on was in for a surprise. The android was just about to relax when the DJ voice she was listening was suddenly drowned by a slight static noise. At first, she thought it was just her earpiece misbehaving before she realized that some of the sensors were not giving her any input at all. It was unthinkable that she had set them up wrongly, she had done them so many times she could do it with her eyes closed. No, the more likely explanation was that there were electromagnetic interference of sorts. With some of the mercenaries in the area deploying advance alien tech, she wouldn't be surprised if one or two cause these sort of problems. With a slight grunt, the android forced herself to get up to check on the sensors. A casual check told her that there was nothing wrong or tampered with without her noticing so that was a relief. As troublesome as it was, she decided to pop up the capsules and assigned surveillance to drones instead. She didn't want to use this method at first, as the drone would require more energy than her passive surveillance system. After a moment or two of debating whether she should take out her toolkit to fix the sensors this late at night, she finally decided to leave such things in the morning. It was late and she needed the rest anyway. That was when all the sensors and her drones went offline. Every electronic based light source went out and not even her mobile was not working properly. Even worse, she couldn't sense even a single source of life signature nearby the building. In a way, it was more scary than suddenly suddenly sensing a large energy signature just outside the building. Fortunately, her psychic based communication allowed her to converse with Cipher even with most of her electronics down. Dear? We got company. CipherWord Count: 450 Total Word Count: 850.

Something felt wrong. Cipher may have been made up of flesh and bone, but she noticed when electronics stopped working in a large radius. It was like when the power went out; it got a lot darker from the scarce lighting and the electronic buzzes you usually do not notice are replaced with deafening silence. Alerted of the drastic change, Cipher’s eyes slowly opened and revealed her ruby orbs. It took her a moment before she budged from her position. The aura she conjured dwindled and she kept her power level even lower than before. Exhibiting the desire to remain discreet in case they were being watched, Cipher quietly pushed herself up from her spot on the floor. Even though she was confident in Audrey’s ability, she felt inept for not staying next to her. Staying in the opposite room seemed like splitting up, and that rarely resulted in fortune. Taking a look around, she failed to notice anything different about her immediate surroundings other than the suffocating silence. As she scanned the vicinity, she did not notice any figures stalking the shadows. Her brow creased under the weight of confusion. Cipher tried to ascertain what caused the outage, but her surroundings lacked definite proof. She decided it was better if she met up with Audrey instead of continuing an isolated investigation within the family room of the empty building. She learned that Audrey knew of the outage when she communed her thoughts to the Saiyan. Adept with the art of psychic powers, she responded while seeking out her energy signature. Courtesy of the link, sensing her power and navigating to the android was well within her abilities. On my way.Had she been further away from her, Cipher might have employed one of her many means of instantly traveling to other locations. The minimal distance between them erased that need. The Saiyan walked her way to Audrey’s location, running her thumb along the hilt of her sheathed blade while casting her attention ahead of her. Something is very wrong. Let’s continue communicating like this.

Audrey froze mid-crouch, her eyes scanned her surrounding. With their light source taken out, it was difficult to make out details in their surrounding. Normally she would have switch her smart lens to night vision to adapt to the lack of light. However doing so would risk making her eyes extremely vulnerable to sudden luminosity like a flash bang. Her other option was to use flare but that would give away heat signature quite easily. That said, confident she may be in handling her foes while blindfolded her instinct told her that these were not her foes she should underestimate. Especially with no way of checking their power level at all. Understood.Just when the android thought things couldn't get any worse, outside the weather had started to rain. Normally she would welcome them with open arms as the soothing sound would mean it would be easier for her to fall asleep...however it also meant that it would mask any noise made by anyone stealthily approaching the building. Stacking up near the window, the android peeked outside the window but couldn't see anyone. In her heart, the android couldn't help but felt a sense of deja vu... I don't see anyone. On your toes, these guys are professional. It was the very same tactic she had used countless time in the past when she still served the Earth Military. Whether it be saboteur or assassination, the intention was to cripple or at least slow down the enemy's retaliation against any assault. Multiple strategies ran through the android's head as she had to formulate with very little data available. It wasn't until Cipher arrived in the room she was in that she felt assured, nodding to her before beckoning her to stick close to her. Can't sense any power level. I'd say either we're dealing with androids...or drones. Two choices. I'll run out there and act as a bait or we fortify ourself in here. Suddenly there was a flash followed by a loud thunder as lightning had struck very close inside the building they were in. The android blinked slightly as she felt something was quite off. It was very hard to hear with the booming thunder but she was quite certain there was multiple sound of glass breaking at the same time. It wasn't until she heard an electronic sound followed by the familiar beeping that the android figured out what they were. Grenade! That was the last psychic message the android manage to hiss before the explosion. But instead of dealing devastating damage that took out their surroundings, the grenades emanate some sort of waves which would disrupt their senses. This was soon followed by multiple drones which burst inside the building via window as well, as they attempt to locate the occupants of the building before firing beams at them both. Unease sat in her stomach while the rain commenced. The sudden storm seemed coordinated with their possible adversaries’ course of action. Like Audrey, she normally enjoyed the sound of rain pellets colliding with her abode’s exterior. However, the Saiyan detested the idea of the weather reducing her ability to track the current threat. Her brow furrowed while a frown ghosted her lips, crimson eyes continuing to direct their attention outside the window. The power shut off before the shift in weather. In turn, something else caused the outage and not the onslaught of heavy rain, verifying Cipher’s suspicion. Audrey sent telepathic thoughts her way, and Cipher responded with a stiff nod. She continued staring out the window while obscuring her figure in shadow, examining the vicinity for any anomalies. The swordswoman emulated a statue while upholding her vigil. Receiving more thoughts from Audrey, Cipher attempted to sense any power levels to affirm her partner’s claims. Lo and behold, nothing in the area possessed a readable energy signature. The woman slowly inhaled and closed her eyes, opening them once again and conveying her thoughts in return. Or at least trying to. I suggest we… A flash of light and the crash of thundered silenced the warrior’s thoughts. She took a step back and gripped her blade’s hilt tighter, preparing to unsheathe Murasame for battle. Everything from the power outage to the rainfall masked a different action. The faint shattering of glass encouraged Cipher to tap into her synesthesia, merging her senses into one and allowing her to notice invisible occurrences and objects through a different sense. Before her partner spoke telepathically, Cipher already started moving away from the explosive as though already knowing its placement. Unlike weeks ago, she displayed unrivalled speed. In the low visibility, Cipher disappeared completely. As she stopped supressing her power, she drew attention towards her new location. Acquiring high ground, Cipher stood in the middle of the creaking staircase leading up to the second level of the abandoned building. “Tch,” While she tried to pull her sword free, Cipher felt her muscles lock up. Electricity permeated her muscles and prevented her from moving easily. Thankfully, the Saiyan’s adaptive fighting style allowed her to switch to a less intensive means of attack on the fly. She watched a drone base itself at the bottom of the stairwell, before ejecting a column of electric blue light in her direction. She stepped out of the way, hearing the beam drill into the wall behind her adjacent to the empty restroom. The Saiyan withdrew her sword faster than light before returning it to its sheath, sending an invisible blade of air pressure towards the drone. Attempting to cut it in two halves, she tested its resilience while starting to back peddle up the stairs in a show of cunning and patience. Despite the hate guiding every motion.

Fortunately for Audrey, she had dived into cover even as the grenade exploded which shielded herself against most of the effect of the grenade. The only ill effect she felt was the sl She had noticed that Cipher had move away from her immediate area before using her psychic link to feel for her presence. Once assured of her safety, the android turn her eyes to the surrounding where drones came bursting in next. The model of the drone was one she was quite familiar with. The Owl, named for it's ability to fly stealthily without making much noise and with little radar signature. She had use one herself often in the past as it provided multiple tactical abilities in the field. There were at least 3 of them, one of which had move in the direction of Cipher. Tagging the two in her peripheral vision, she slipped fingerless gloves onto her hand. The gloves altered her energy blast making them invisible to naked eye at the cost of power, acting as a suppressor for her energy blast. With it, the two drones were taken out swiftly and like the one against Cipher, fell apart without much resistance. Before they can even exhale in relief however, sound of doors kicked in followed by footsteps can be heard as the building was infiltrated from multiple directions. Frowning, she peeked from her cover to see multiple figures storm in with military model weaponries accompanied by even more of the OWL drones as their backup. Their face resembled a mask, barely resembling humanoid in shape with their eyes an azure orb that glowed in their socket. Discipline and precision guided their movement as they attempted to navigate through the warehouse to search for the pair. Deploying the active camouflage system to make herself temporarily invisible, the android waited held her breathe as she watch them make way past her without noticing her presence. There were at least 6 of them, each of them were equipped with multiple weaponries that it was easy to tell whoever provided them with serious cash to burn. They lacked any military insignia however. A private military company perhaps? Well she can ask one of them once she killed the rest of their buddies. For now, she needed to take them out first. Got my visual on hostiles. Dispatch them stealthily if possible but if not, feel free to go loud. Sticking to the shadows, the android began to stalk the intruders in order to dispatch them one by one. Masking her killing intent, she waited for them to split before finally making her move. A burst of electromagnetic wave onto one of the OWL knock it offline instead of destroying it, before she grab one of the android from behind and snap his neck cleanly. One down...five remaining. Declined a moment of respite, Cipher heard hostiles kick the door down with a loud bang. Footsteps followed the deafening noise, alluding to newfound company. Cipher masked her footsteps while proceeding up the stairwell. Referencing the restroom she spotted earlier, she made her way inside and obscured herself behind the door. She left it open a crack to peer through and take note of any threats coming her way. With the aid of her synesthesia, she noted the exact number of enemies and their personal weaponry even without looking at them. The darkness failed to inhibit her omnipotent merged senses. I see them. I’ll kill them discreetly. With those decisive words, Cipher hung behind the door while “watching” her prey progress up the stairs. Despite not being around her, the Saiyan saw Audrey dispatch one of the hostiles, leaving them with five more to take down. Though the group split up, two of them made their way up the stairs. Once they arrived at the top of the stairs, they communicated non-verbally with one another. One android continued his way down the corridor to check other rooms, while one of them had the misfortune of checking out the room Cipher lurked within. As he pushed the door open and headed inside, Cipher moved the door according to his motions. As a result, the door met him with zero resistance as if nobody stood behind it. The moment he turned to look behind the obstruction, Cipher grabbed him by the mouth using her prosthetic hand. Exerting an iron grip, she shattered his jaw and prevented speech. She ejected a solid blade from her hand, coated in an eccentric red and black sheen, through his mouth and out the back of his head, severing whatever component emulated a spine. The Saiyan watched the signs of life leak from his body before catching him, sliding him behind the door. Keeping herself hidden, she advanced down the hall, sliding herself into something resembling an unoccupied bedroom. She withdrew her blade into her synthetic hand and waited for the next target to reveal itself to the hunter. Four remaining.

Lowering the body of the android she had taken care of, Audrey inspected the body to find something that would help her identify the ringleader behind their assailant. However, her search prove futile as they didn't use radios or equipment of any sort to communicate with each other. A frustrated look appeared on her face as that would mean it's nighway impossible for her to try to tap into their communication. Her attention then drifted to the OWL drone next to see if she can access them instead but the sound of footstep backtracking prevented her from doing so. That was way too fast...as if knowing something just went wrong with their comrade despite the fact that she had taken care of them as stealthily as possible. Curious, the android checked the body just to be certain but find no vital sign. That would mean he didn't have time to call out for his partner. Nor were there any instruments on their body that would tip off their comrade. So then why did his partner check on him? Standard procedure? Or just guts? Before Audrey can entertain the thought further the mercenary android stepped into the room where the body was in, his shotgun blaster ready to blow away anything hostile. Thankfully the body was not in their direct line of sight from the doorway and as former special op take refuge behind one of the pillar, she waited for the mercenary to say something to call out his partner to confirm his condition. Yet, she was greeted with nothing but silence. Don't quote me on this but I think the enemy may be using psychic communication like us. Throwing a pebble in an opposite direction to her while she waited, the mercenary paused before directing his OWL drone to check out while they remain in their position. Once more Audrey move towards their back to take them out like the first one but this android prove to be of more mettle as they wrestled to break free from her grip on his neck. With the aid of the shotgun blaster, they struggled valiantly against her choke attempt and even manage to fire a shot. The roar of the shotgun blast can be heard in the entire building. Well...the good news was that she was unharmed by said blaster. They even somehow took their OWL drone with them which they had call back to assist them. The bad news, the shot was loud enough that all three mercenary androids within now know exactly where she was. Shit, we're compromised. Go loud.CipherWord Count: 430 Post Word Count: 2220.

Using her psychic powers, Cipher levitated the shotgun in the restroom into the air. While leaning against the wall in the bedroom, she materialized the gun, teleporting it from its placement in the other room into her grasp. Exhibiting skill with firearms, she grabbed it with both of her hands and pumped her energy through it. In doing so, Cipher stained the armament in her demonic pigment. She coated it in a sheen of black and red, declaring it her weapon and bolstering its power to the point where she claimed it as an extension of her destructive will. Understood. After responding to Audrey’s affirmation, she peeked outside of the room. Instead of trying to tap into whatever psychic channel the enemies communicated with other on, she stood in waiting to move in for the kill. Before she managed to step outside of the room, she heard the roar of a shotgun throughout the empty building. She almost clicked her tongue but resisted. Continuing to hold her breath to conceal her presence, she leaned back into the room and waited for her prey to run by the door. Audrey announced their precarious situation while Cipher heard footsteps move from the end of the corridor. She knew the hostile’s exact position. The moment they passed her door, she emerged from hiding and pointed the end of the gun directly at the back of the synthetic’s head. With the pull of a trigger, a blast erupted from the end of her barrel, bursting the aggressor’s head like an overripe melon. Chunks of prosthetic gore exploded in every direction, painting and dribbling down the yellowing walls. Bloodlust claimed her while she pumped the shotgun up and down with a metallic click, announcing her location to the remaining two threats in the building. “Peek-a-boo,” Cipher took a few steps forward, aiming her gun towards the floor. The way her synesthesia worked was simple. It merged all her senses together. For example, if she could hear it, or smell it, taste it, or even feel it, then she could see it since her sensory means were united. In turn, Cipher knew the exact location of the enemies even without physically using her eyes to see them; she could see them all the same. “I see you.”Pulling the trigger again, she shot through the floor. Her shot tore through the floor, passed through to the first level of the building, and then cleaved through one enemy’s skull in another cranial detonation. The headless body dropped to its knees before slumping lifelessly on the floor next to the single remaining threat in the building. Temporary silence – and then the unnerving sound of Cipher reloading her shotgun up on the second floor. One remaining.

With a bit more force than necessary, the android tossed the merc against the wall as stealth was no longer a concern. Cipher even managed to handle the two of them even as they tried to converge towards her location. A small smirk formed on her face as she cracked her knuckle while approaching the remaining mercenary. This was her favorite part, interrogating the enemy. Even though the mercenary may not possess a sense of pain but she had always enjoyed watching her captive attempt to resist uselessly against her. Now then, would he run away? Or attempt to fight to the death? Either way, she was eager to enjoy this for once. At least that was her line of thought until suddenly the remaining merc's head exploded thus shattering any hopes of her enjoying that night. At first she looked up the hole towards Cipher, a quizzical look on her face as she had thought, mistakenly, that the Saiyan had kill her prey before she even get to enjoy herself. That was until she noticed that Cipher wasn't even aiming the barrel of the shotgun in the direction of the merc. So then where did the shot came from? "Looks like we meet again sister."Audrey slowly turned towards where the voice came from. There were three figures, one of them holding some sort of smoking gunblade. Even though she didn't recognize their faces it didn't take long for the android to figure out the newcomers affilitation. A lightning flash illuminate the darkness revealing silver hair, golden pupils and even though she cannot sense their power level she can tell from how they carry themselves that they're decently strong as well. Talos agents....what are they doing here? "I don't remember having brats like you as my brother." Audrey snickered as she turned to face the trio. She wondered if she should try to get Cipher to ambush them as even the android would have trouble trying to take care of all three at once. "Is that so? I'm sure it'll come back to you eventually. Shall we play?" the middle one asked as he unsheathed his blade and place the dull of the blade on his shoulder. Clearly, playing here means beating the heck out of each other to death. The shot came from a different gun not belonging to the Saiyan, and she knew which one. Had it not been for her momentary confusion stemming from the unfamiliar aggressors’ choice to shoot what she believed to be one of their allies in the head, she might have opened fire on them earlier. Not knowing who they were, her brow creased under the weight of her confusion. They introduced themselves as Audrey’s kin, but Cipher thought that was impossible. Audrey’s words added to her confusion, expressing a lack of knowledge regarding the triad of playboys in front of her. With those words, Cipher already started aiming her gun towards a different part of the floor. “Look,” Cipher started, her voice heard from the top level of the empty building. She held them in her sights, and since nobody possessed the ability to see her, she prevented anybody from being able to see her aiming the gun. “I don’t know what your business is here, but I can see that whatever alliance you have with our attackers is very fragile.” Her synesthesia allowed her to see the entire scene, having witnessed the middle man shoot their enemy in the head. If Cipher started firing without giving them a chance, she did her people a disservice by living up the stereotype. “Maybe this playing, as you put it, isn’t mandatory. There’s a chance we share a common enemy, and perhaps we can all walk away from this without resorting to needless extremes.” As she articulated those words, she kept the one on the left in her sights. If Cipher detected even the smallest ounce of movement, she would fire on them. Her trained eye noticed the most minute of movements due to its owner being able to travel across the galaxy in fractions of a second. If they wanted a show of reaction time, then she would give it to them for free. All they needed to do was try to attack Audrey, and she would attempt to remove their head from their shoulders, or their money back guarantee. If they declined, she had no problem with killing every last one of them.

In battle, one must rely more than sight alone to track their opponent. That's what made them special ops, their cybernetic implants enhance their sensors to be as equally sharp as their vision. Thus even without being able to see Cipher directly, the one holding the gunblade tilted his head as he looked in the general direction of where Cipher's voice came from before turning to the one in the center. "She's not alone." he said, stating the obvious. Audrey turned towards him noting his features. Amongst the trio, he had the longest silver hair and also the tallest. Judging by his feet placement after he shot the gunblade, the man appeared to prefer a more agile footwork. His statement caused the one in the middle to rub his chin as he contemplate not only Cipher's answer but mulling over the situation. "So? There's three of us and two of them. Only reason I came along was that you said she won't give it up so easily." the android on the right chip in as he cracked his knuckles together. His body was quite bulky with muscular strength and judging by the weapon he wielded on his knuckles, he was also the close combatant type. "Well...if you two don't want to play, you can always give us your power core sister. We have a spare one right now so we can arrange the transplant easily." The middle one said as he produce a briefcase with dynocap. At this, Audrey's eyebrows narrowed slightly. Her power core? That was the equivalent of asking one pure flesh and blood of their heart. There was no way she can agree to that easily. "There's a better way to ask for a woman's heart. And unfortunately, mine was already stolen by another. So why don't you three mosey along before I'll kick your collective ass." Audrey replied in return, glancing at the window outside as rain continue to fall. "I see. Playtime it is then." Even though the duo can't sense their power level, their facial demeanor turned slightly serious as their power level rise. For Talos androids, a showy transformation is useless and give the enemy ample warning to prepare. Noting this, Audrey clicked her tongue as she noticed the subtle sign of Overedge transformation. If only one of them can transform she wouldn't have mind but all three? They've all transformed. Watch yourself. That was the only thing Audrey was able to say before the battle immediately commenced. The one holding the gunblade swifly move away from his spot as he readied his sight on Audrey. Meanwhile, the one with knuckle based weapon to rush Audrey down, leaving the one in center who had not move from his position as he bring up forcefield barrier to protect all three of them. Gotta give it to’em, at least they’ve got eyes. Said the voice in Cipher’s head, amusement lacing his voice. They spoke in response to the long-haired android stating this obvious. Even if Audrey tapped into their telepathic link, it was impossible to hear the demon speak within her. The voice was rasp and characterized by a thick informal accent. He wanted to see how the situation would turn out. In contrast to her demonic partner’s amusement, Cipher’s visage remained stoic. Her brow furrowed and she kept her finger on the trigger. Though she issued the warning at first, in all honesty she doubted she could trust them. She ignored Thirteen and continued listening to the potential hostiles. In turn, she started assessing the situation deeper. Judging from the violent course of action he took before, the one who just spoke relied on deft tactics and his predominantly ranged weapon. Knowing her ability to adapt to that as well, he failed to daunt her. Holding her position, Cipher listened to the other one speak. With a more notable and larger musculature, along with the armaments enveloping his hands, she guessed his style revolved around close quarters. One might attack from afar while the other distracts from the front. Annoying. More irritation builds within her gut while they talked about her girlfriend. As cool and collected as Cipher tended to be, they started to step on eggshells. When they spoke about a power core transplant, she raised a brow for a moment. Her brow creased once again, this time pure ire surfacing in her crimson eyes. Anger welled up within her, and her hand shook while she subdued the urge to immediately pull the trigger. She barely heard Audrey’s reply. A ringing in her ears, her vision seething red, and a demonic voice in her heard dominated her senses. They wanna take your girl’s heart! What are ya gonna do about that, girlie? A joker-like ghost, only perceptible to Cipher and those she allowed to see it, appeared adjacent to her, foreboding scythe in hand. His mask countenance turned its ceramic head towards her, tilting it to the side. He wanted to add fuel to the fire they ignited within her, a strong desire within him to shatter the final wall between his host and her true potential. One of the trio announced his desire to commence playtime, and she heard Audrey communicate to her telepathically once again. The trio transformed, and Cipher noticed some of the subtleties associated with the android transformation. Strong as the little lady may be, y’know ya’ll aren’t gonna last a damn minute losing the number game and the power game? Another soul sent to other world as the cost of your weakness. Hearing those words within her heard, again not audible to anyone but herself, she slammed her finger down on the trigger. Another blast erupted from the end of the barrel, a flash of darkness embracing the end of her energy-infused gun. She shot at the one who announced that playtime started, before dropping her firearm. Her gunfire, empowered by her energy, destroyed half of the house. It disintegrated from the air pressure and force transferred by her shot. They seemed to trivialize her presence because of their transformations, but she decided to let them know that who called themselves a Saiyan never should be underestimated. After firing her shot, she soared towards him like a rocket and attempted to drop kick him in the midsection hard enough to blow an entire mountain away. A successful hit would drag him across the ground for around a mile. Hit or miss, she flipped into the air and launched a volatile blast of ki towards him. It struck whatever obstructed its path and enveloped it akin to a missile.

In just mere moments, half of the building exploded from the force of Cipher's shotgun as if it was just on the receiving end of an artillery bombardment. Debris and dust flew everywhere covering most of the grounds while rain continue to fall unabated. The dust had barely settled when Cipher attacked the sword wielding android, unleashing a drop kick with the weight that would have destroyed a mountain instantly. However, the impact was mostly reduced by an energy shield erected by the android and he had barely move from his original location, a small smirk crossed his face though he could still feel the impact on his bones. "Whew, got a real nice view from down here. Shame I am not holding my phone right at this moment." The android grinned as he watched Cipher kicked off his shield before soaring higher and higer before unleashing a volatile blast of ki. At first it looked as if the volatile wave of ki would consume him entirely before the attack was cleft into twain as the ki blast impact both sides of the android with a huge explosion that rocked the terrain with a tremor. "Temper, temper~ You would be much more charming if your turn that frown upside down~" said the sword wielding android in a teasing manner while he unleashed a series of razor wind attacks towards Cipher, each of which their strength easily rivaled the shotgun blast Cipher pulled earlier. Regardless whether Cipher evaded the attack or not, he charged towards her to engage her in close melee combat. His sword was a two blade katana, wielded with ease and such terrifying speed that he would have shredded a Katchin armored tank in tiny pieces in a blink of an eye. Meanwhile, Audrey was dealing a two pronged attack from the knuckle bearer and the gunblade wielder androids. They both covered what the other lacked, weaving a tapestry of combos that even thought the android had a slight edge on them she can still feel the pressure of the attack. The one with knuckles unload a series of devastating combo that would have drop a building even a single strike alone, the shockwave could be heard each time he strike against Audrey's guard indicating the heaviness of each blow. One of the swing was too wide however and Audrey immediately capitalized on it and send a devastating blow towards his chest. The knuckle bearing android crashed against an unoccupied truck which flipped towards it's side. Audrey smirked slightly before she realized the knuckled wielding android was also smirking as well, which meant that was a ruse. Audrey glanced towards the gunblade wielding android who had used the altercation to charge his shot before unleashing towards Audrey's direction forcing her to use an energy shield to protect herself. The bullet travelled with enough velocity as if it was fired from a railgun, creating a huge crack on her normally impenetrable shield. "What's wrong? You said you wanted my power core right? Then come and get it." That was enough to pull a reaction from the knuckle bearer as he immediately lifted the truck he rammed against with one hand and toss it in the direction multiple feet above the air before kicking it in the direction of Audrey. In retaliation, she cocked her fist back before punching the truck with enough power behind them that the truck exploded upon impactr impact before speeding towards him into another building with a huge crash. There was a silence at first, before the familiar sound of shockwave can be heard again from multiple strike connecting though this time the crackling sound of electricity can heard in the mix. “You must have better lines than that, Haircut.” Cipher mocked in response, pulling her crimson blade free from its sheath with a metallic screech. He seemed resilient enough to take her barrage of attacks without incurring much damage, but she fought and defeated robust people in the past. In turn, she did not underestimate her opponent but kept her spirits high. He decided to take his turn with the offensive and let loose an onslaught of wind blades in her direction. It reminded her of Marimba’s blade attack before they killed him. The winds seemed to hit an imperceptible barrier in front of her, slight distortion in the air denoting the impact. Some of the blades passed through the telekinetic barricade and sliced into her clothes and flesh, drawing blood and pain but little reaction from the Saiyan. While she mitigated the attack, she reached out with her left hand and materialized a pistol, a .500 magnum to be exact, gripping it firmly in her hand. Red and black energy perverted its original grey scheme, again amplifying the firearm with her power while the man finished his attack and charged towards her. While he made his way towards her, she fired two shots towards his chest. She aimed straight for where she reckoned he placed his power core, spite lacing every pull of her trigger. Each bullet from the six chamber possessed enough power to evaporate mountains into nothingness. Whether she connected or failed, she brandished her katana in preparation for the melee assault he intended for her. Cipher countered the swordplay to the best of her ability, showing asinine amounts of agility and speed originally not attributed to her. However, the raw power advantage forced her back, gaining large lacerations across her cheek, arms, and body while she defended the assault. Whenever she took an attack, she made sure to swing back, trying to use the small fraction of an opening of being hit to answer with her own violent slash in response.

Seeing Cipher pulled a magnum on him, the sword wielding android immediately take an evasive action. After seeing what she manage to pull earlier with a shotgun, it was clear that the magnum would have as much impact as a bomber. Yet he only managed to dodge the first 2 before he was forced to deflect the remaining 4 of the bullet with his sword though the impact was enough to shred part of his own outfit. It manage to drew a small wincing reaction from the android but he gritted through his teeth as he pushed through with his attack. The android noted that the Saiyan's swordplay was impressive to be able to deflect and parry most of his attack which was meant to cut her down in an instant despite being stronger than her. Clearly Cipher had experience in dealing with more powerful opponent and not to mention of high morale, a lesser foe would have decided that this would be a lost cause. The second he revealed an opening Cipher immediately slash across his chest a huge laceration wound on his chest though it was a little too shallow to cut him in twain. With a grunt the sword wielding android make space between them as he touched the cut where Cipher had inflicted. Instead of looking anguished from the pain he appeared to be...amused? "Not bad. I always preferred my girl to be more on the feisty side~" Despite the injury the android rushed towards Cipher, a small grin on his face that clearly resembled the kind Audrey put on whenever she fight an interesting opponent. A barrage of slashes followed in retaliation as he attempt to push the Saiyan further and further though his true intention was to look for a moment that he can trap her sword with his blade so he can yank it out of her grip. "Do you know your friend here had killed a lot of Saiyan in the past? You really want to fight for someone who had slain so many of your kin?" the android let the word sink into Cipher's brain. Judging from her oriental gear and her pride, the android assume that Cipher was one of those who are proud of her heritage. While he had no problem catching up with her as she was currently, he wanted to see if he can dissuade her from helping him. At one point he locked blade and gaze with her, wanting to see her reaction closely to see what kind of relation Cipher had with this android. "This doesn't concern you. You can still walk away. Whatever she paid you I can triple the sum easily."Meanwhile, a certain knuckle bearing android flew out of the building and onto the road before Audrey came out, cracking her knuckles. Her body was now covered with lightning armor which would punish all those who strike her up close. Seeing this, the gunblade wielding android cocked the hammer as he fired multiple round towards Audrey which missed, causing multiple buildings behind her to explode. It was a good thing that most of the civilians were evacuated from this war zone... she need not to worry too much about collateral damage. The android rushed towards the agile gunblade slinger as she unleashed a furious combo of punch and kick but his enhanced reflex allow him to dodge them easily. Still the attack was enough to graze him even a little bit and at once point he mistimed her assault and get sent crashing into one of the lamp post. Not wanting to give him a chance to breathe, Audrey rushed towards him to take him out only to have her leg pulled by the knuckle bearing android who had recovered faster than she had expected. Immediately he smashed her multiple times onto the concrete in an attempt to daze her but she managed to kick his face on his final attempt which sent him halfway across the street. "Fuck. Really felt that one...." Audrey muttered as she slowly pull herself onto a crouch as she tried to shake off what happen.

The way he handled the laceration reminded her of a Saiyan. Instead of reacting to the blade gliding across his chest with a cry of agony, he decorated his face with amusement while pressing on. Despite the terrifying display, Cipher did not bat an eye. She shredded countless lunatics in the past, and she intended to add him to the list. Her expression remained colourless and focused while she listened to his words. Ignoring his words about his preference in women, Cipher attempted to avoid the barrage of slashes coming her way. Instead of using her sword to defend against the first flurry, she relied on her psychic powers, precognition, and instinct to avoid the flashing steel. However, many of his attacks got through and opened fresh wounds across her pale skin. She listened to him speak, tossing her gun into the air and dissipating it into sparks and grabbing her sword using both hands. With a better grip on her sword, she managed to unleash a deadly torrent of slashes his way, even flipping over him and attempting to slash towards his back. He met the attack with his own blade, locking her in place while speaking to her about Audrey’s past. As she suspected, they knew about the android’s story. Walk away. Triple the pay. Drown herself in hookers and fine liquor and be done with the hard work. He presented an option to the Saiyan while they clashed blades, and Cipher clenched her teeth together, narrowing her eyes. She then saw something using her synesthesia. Even though they were a hundred meters away, she witnessed the turn of tide in the other battle taking place. Audrey held off the other two while she faced one adversary, and they scored a major hit. Not a bad deal, eh? What are ya gonna do, kid? Throw in the towel and leave another person to the wolves, just like your master?“Shut up…” The sword wielding man might notice that the words did not seemed to be directed towards him, but something he could not see. Or perhaps she directed the words at both. An eerie power started to emanate from her, and her crimson eyes gained a strange reflection over them as her power started to fluctuate. Just take a look at this. Yet again, you stand protected by the little lady while she endures all the hardships. And for what? For you? Don’t that sound familiar, Cipher? Ain’t gonna be long before you’re swimmin’ in a whole damn ocean of blood made up of all of the people you failed, all them people who sacrificed themselves for you.“I said shut up!”Cipher swung her sword down hard, releasing a wave of air pressure enough to split the area in two for miles on end and create a chasm. Take a look at that little threesome you’ve been excluded from, will ya? Look. Ya about to lose another one…

Fast. The sword wielding android had fought a lot of Saiyan before but very few can match Cipher when it comes to speed. Every time he thought his attack would end her the woman defied his expectation completely, avoiding lethal or cippling wounds that would impede her assault. Even with multiple wounds inflicted on the Saiyan, she retaliated just as viciously as when they first cross blade with each other even scoring a few more gashes across his skin though he manage to evade just enough to prevent Cipher from cutting the more vital part of his body. Quite frankly, it puzzled the swordsman that she would fight this much for Audrey. From his record, the woman's major source of income was her gym and he had taken that into account when attempting to bribe the warrior. Perhaps the relationship between the two ran far deeper than he had expected in first place. Friends? However even between friends, there comes a point that the sense of self-preservation worth a lot more than friendship or camraderie, even more so when they have something else to gain other than their life from it. When Cipher urged him to hold his tongue the swordsman tilted his head slightly. Did he get on her nerves? Strangely, the words she uttered gave him the impression that she was not talking to him alone....but something was starting to grab his attention. It was the fact that she was emanating some sort of strange power...was she holding back the whole time? The swordsman had decided to take a combative approach having assumed that the Saiyan does not or choose not to transform for this battle. Through the psychic link he can already tell they were having trouble trying to keep up with her and though they have scored a major hit, it could easily turn the other way. Which mean he needed to shut down the battle completely. Already he directed an order towards the other two that they were moving to the next phase of the plan. When Cipher unleashed her attack, instead of blocking it head on he immediately teleport out of the way. Meanwhile Audrey picked herself up from the floor before resuming her battle stance. Barely in time as well, as she was peppered again with Katchin bullet which forced her to evade....straight towards the boxer android whose punches grazed her cheek. The pair were slowly adjusting to her combat style...at this rate, she may have to consider fusing with Cipher to change the tide. Still, she didn't reach this far through brute strength alone and having pick up his habit, she knew that what was coming upon seeing the android's haymaker. Time seem to slow down in her eyes as she picture herself slightly dodging under the attack before retaliating with a devastating counter of her own. It would send the boxer away from her...buying just enough time that she would be able to blitz towards the remaining one with a kick. Just when she was about to execute the plan however, something felt wrong. Terribly wrong. A wide wave of air pressure threaten to envelop them all and in that moment Audrey was distracted long enough that the haymaker reached her despite her attempt to slip. A skyscraper in the area suddenly collapse on them all burying them all in a ton of debris. The android's last view was seeing the collapsing structure before everything went white for her. That was strange...when Audrey regained her vision the android felt her body was heavy like lead. She tried to move but she couldn't. She tried to squirm but she cannot. She couldn't see sky where she was laying down...but she could see train tracks beneath her feet. The android wondered if she was underground...she did vaguely remember that this town used to have a subway before the war starts. There was the sound of rubble near her and Audrey turned calling out to check whether it was her partner. "Cipher?"Instead, the one who greeted her was not her Saiyan comrade but the sword wielding android she had seen earlier. It appeared he was not without his fair share of injuries but yet compared to her, he was still able to move. Approaching her, the android pull her up before reaching towards where her power core was. Her eyes widen slightly as she realized what he was about to do. "Is that you friend's name? Don't worry, she's still alive. Can't say the same about my companions though." He turned towards one direction and Audrey's gaze followed. Cipher's attacks had completely cleave them both, rendering them inert. Before she can say anything however, she was interrupted by the sound of shredding fabric and the sickening sound of something piercing her body. Looking down, Audrey noticed the swordman hand penetrated her chest before tightening around her power core. The woman can only gritted her teeth in response, though she had willed her body to move it was not responding for some reason. "For now at least. Don't worry, I'll send you both to the other side." With that he ripped the power core out of her violently. A cry of pain escaped Audrey's lips before it tapered out as she fall down to the ground. Gathering what little energy she had left, she tried to appear defiant so as not to let him have the satisfaction even as he kill her...which only served to amuse him. Instead he was looking at her power core greedily, his face like a child who discovered that Christmas come early. "Rejoice. You're about to witness the birth of the ultimate android." The swordsman said as he grasped her power core tightly as he attempted to absorb all the energy contained within it. CipherPost word count: 970. Total Word Count: 5320.

She missed. Not just missing but forcing him to reveal a technique within her own arsenal. It meant she possessed enough power to render herself a threat, even despite the difference in power level. The thoughts in her mind were fleeting, her eyes detouring towards the skyscraper toppling over in that moment. Undisturbed by the other android, she watched with wide eyes the entire structure crumble and crash down on the battlefield separate from her own. The Saiyan felt something inside of her fracture. Lightning started to crackle around her body as she clenched her teeth together. Unlike times in the past where she covered her body in electricity, this was not deliberate. Cipher tasted blood in her mouth while her gums ached in protest. She was painfully aware of who the building trapped underneath it, and her anger spiked once more. Her body flickered while she appeared next to the two other androids. Two strokes created two new chasms in the planet’s crust for miles, while separating the duo into two halves. Prior to this, she did not sport this amount of strength. Something was wrong. Demonic laughter echoed throughout her mind. He knew his words and the adversaries’ inadvertent actions left the mental barrier in shambles. True power awaited. Ignoring the voice in her mind, she used the psychic link to locate Audrey. Cipher placed her finger on her forehead and used Instant Transmission to transport herself from her current placement to the underground. As she arrived in the subway area, the first thing she witnessed was the man’s hand plunging into her lover’s chest. Words dulled in her ears, her pupils constricted and rattled on their alabaster base. Everything she heard was replaced with a continuous ringing. Moisture left her mouth, a sensation like a branding iron seared her eyes. Every heartbeat within her chest felt light years apart, time seemed to slow down. A lightheaded feeling infiltrated her senses. “I am going to kill you…”The phrase was simple, said in barely a whisper. The atmosphere darkened, storm clouds brewing above and lightning slamming into the world’s crust. Every bit of anger, hate, and resent she submerged her heart in, like a pool of molten rock, frothed over. Every pore and cell in her body burned with the flames of hatred, and her dark mane started to sway in the air. Shades of gold saturated it, while her rabid eyes transitioned from red to green. She loved you, Cipher.Snap. Gripping her hands into fists, and a scream emanated from her. Loud enough to threaten the integrity of her vocal cords, every bit of unbridled rage within her exploded forth. A wave of wind and force shattered every window and contraption within the underground subway. The abandoned train toppled over, the walls crumbled and disintegrated until they were left in a massive crater. She gripped her hands tighter, the one organic one bleeding from her nails digging into her palm. Columns of light exploded throughout the land, and a golden aura spiked around her. Her eyes turned green, and her hair became gold. Distortion rippled the atmosphere around her, expanding from her in all encompassing circles that changed the saturation of reality. The hostile android would notice that, before he could even drink in the sight of her form, the power core was no longer within his grasp. Teleportation, Instant Transmission, or just sheer speed – who knew at that point? Cipher held it in her hand. She released a wave of telekinetic force powerful enough to push a solar system out of the galaxy to push him away from herself an Audrey, keeping her back facing him while she looked yearningly towards the silver-haired android with tear stained eyes. Then she turned her attention behind her, looking partially over shoulder, Hell itself unable to simulate the amount of hate in her eyes. “You desire the power within this core, correct?”Cipher’s words possessed an eerie calm despite the rage behind them. “Then come try to take it.”
