One thing which (unless I've missed it) we don't really cover is getting away from a fight once it has started.
in the case of spars and adventures it doesn't really matter, but with battles (supposed) to be more deadly, it seems worthwhile to have a system in place to allow escape if - for instance - a very powerful person crashes into a battle between newbies to get some kills under their belt (I do not see this happening often, but it is theoretically possible under the rules) or someone wants to try and run from a fight and keep their artifact when someone else has tried to hunt them down for it.
I have two ideas as to how to handle this.
The first is that you have to do nothing but run away in your action, and if all attacks against you in the next round miss (or no attacks are made) you are able to escape. This means that people with Edge can still have a significant advantage in murderising their less powerful victims, mwa ha ha ha ha.
The second, and probably my favourite, is that you declare an ESCAPE ATTEMPT as a standard action. Your opponent must then roll beneath your Defense on d100 to 'spot' you. The Blind status effect would subtract from this roll. This lets high-reflex characters have a very good chance to get out of dodge and does not give a large advantage based on PL.
