So I've yet to play a dbz mud that had Fusion (By Fusion Dance or Potarra Earrings) There was Namekian fusion in where the other person lost there character, but obviously noone ever fused because of that reason alone. So here are a couple suggestions for fusing.
Potarra Earrings - These could be an artifact that could be found in Otherworld. This fusion normally permanent in the show (of course there were special situations that cause them to unfuse, could maybe last until the topic was over or the fused being was knocked out.
Fusion Dance - Would be technique that would take up a slot and both people would need to have. It would take 2 bonus actions to fuse from both players. They would roll a 1d100 anything below 50 would be a successful fusion. A 1d10 dice would be rolled to determine how long the fusion would last. Like all tech you can spend mastery points to increase chance to fuse by +5. Stats would for the fused character would be a median of both players stats. So if my Fighting is 20 and my partner has 10 our Fighting would be 15. This would be a once per fight and lasts til duration is over or Ko'd.
This is off the top of my head at work so numbers could be adjusted.
