Bolts of flame and ash rained down from a charred sky. Smoke carried on upwards to meet this hazardous downpour. If there were any more water on the planet, it may as well have combined to form frequent acidic showers. All to compliment the already toxic fumes emerging from the planet’s inner crust, no less. A completely inhospitable world by a majority of the galactic population- condemned to one of the blackest corners of the Demon Realm.
All in all, it was another day on Monsigneus.
Save for the continent-spanning column of light shooting straight for the planet, everything was normal.
It landed in the midst of nowhere. The earth and lava alike quaked under the sheer pressure applied. A new energy signature was present- distorted, ever-shifting, and malicious. It seemed as though whoever; or whatever; landed on the planet made no effort in concealing itself. Perhaps such a grand entrance could be taken as a taunt. Maybe the act was merely done purely in an effort to attract attention.
That appeared to be the most likely outcome when considering the figure that stood directly in its centre. After the beam faded, a single man was left at the very heart of the land. Glove-covered hands rested idly on the tip of what looked like an oversized, spiked bat. Clad in a crimson, collared shirt under a jet-black vest, his attire did not give off a sense of formality in the slightest. Even his coat was worn on top of his shoulders.
Whether to regard this entity as a threat or a joke might have been confusing at best. Whichever one might choose, he failed to care. He kept on standing, waiting, and watching.

Amatricina sat upon the Obsidian Throne, lost in thought when she sensed it. A presence, an energy she had never felt before on her world, not without her express consent that was. A Mortal. She clenched her fist in wrath, who dared come to her world without her permission? With the wave of a hand the Demon Queen dismissed her guards, rising from her throne as she glared westward to the source of the energy. The Queen of the Demon Realm took flight, the skies booming with the sound of her breaking the sound barrier over and over as she raced towards the source of the energy. She landed with a graceful impact, barely denting the ground beneath her feet. Her ground, her world. Hers to rule, and to protect. Ruby eyes cast upon the intruder, some debonair mortal, Earthling perhaps, standing so brazenly in a volcanic flatland. "Mortal." Amatricina said flatly, noting the warrior's strength. It rivaled that of Sincara's, which put it among the upper echelons of the Mortal Realm. "Who are you to set foot upon my world? If you seek audience with the Demon Queen, you have it... Though you also have my ire." The demoness spoke harshly, her crimson aura flaring around her in display of her raw strength.

Audience at last. Though it came in the form of a half-decent demon, it was audience nonetheless. Power, ferocity, and a certain regard for the planet they resided on. Things were looking up for him. The stoic expression he possessed shifted almost immediately after she finished. A smirk was plastered right across his face. An eye narrowed while another brow cocked. This was curious, yet his response arrived even more so.
“Isn’t it obvious?” His low, smarmy tone raised a simple question. Thereafter, the man cocked his head from left to right playfully. “Well, I guess it isn’t really obvious- what with the whole ‘coming out of nowhere’ schtick.” That much became a habit at that point of his existence. Both nonsense and coyness combined to form the ultimate form of annoyance. Hence began the utter confusion of it all.
“I’m here to see the Demon Queen, of course!” He exclaimed enthusiastically to the Demon Queen. “Could you schedule an appointment with her?” Apparently, the phrase ‘my world’ had yet to pierce through his thick skull. The present tense of ‘have’ seemed to be discarded in the trash alongside the concept of logical acknowledgement and logic. One might be able to conclude that he was either extremely unaware of the threat that stood mere meters ahead of him, or that the man liked playing around.
Thus arrived the final jab.
“And put some clothes on while you’re at it.” And there it was.
T barely shifted a hand off his bludgeon to gesture Amatricina away. “Now hurry along- shoo. Just because I’ve got all day doesn’t mean I’ve got all day with you.”

Amatricina was immediately overcome with wrath at the callousness of vermin in front of her. "You ignorant Mortal!" She proclaimed, her own aura igniting like a raging inferno. The Power of Hatred coursing with fury within her. "Imbecile, just for that I'm grind you into dust myself." No sooner had the words left the demon's mouth had Amatricina transformed. In a flash of ruby light she assumed her Demon God form, her attire shifting in a scale mail suit of armor with increasingly ostentatious gauntlets, pauldrons, and armored boots. Her crown of horns grew notably more prestigious, both in width and length, and her cloak had noticeably become more rugged, color shifting to deep violets with crimson accents. The Queen of the Demon Realm stood before this fool, wreathed in her Unvanquished Flame, a nigh impenetrable barrier of molten demonic ki. She reached out her right hand, summoning forth the weapon of a Demon God. An obsidian hilt formed in her hand, inset with a large ruby pommel stone. From the hilt, a blade of molten metal ignited, writhing and swirling with Dark Energy. The weapon was as much a part of her as her flesh or bone, to this day she knew not quite how it worked, only that this form possessed a weapon that manifested when she beckoned it. It was the hallmark of a Demon God, not that Amatricina had met another of her kind. The Demon Queen sliced once through the air, fast enough to shake the very ground beneath her feet. "You live on borrowed time, prepare yourself Imbecile, know my fury."With that said Amatricina gestured out with her blade, pointing it at the stranger. As she did a massive block fog erupted from beneath her cloak. Her Dark Miasma, a sinister haze of debilitating noxious gas. It surged outwards towards her opponent, intent to cripple him with ailments. As it did Amatricina lunged forth, blade in hand. She fired her Burning Gaze, twin beams of ruby ki from her eyes. The beams of energy arced towards her foe, intent to sear him with demonic heat. Should he avoid her attack, there was little hope he could avoid her blade. As she closed in on her foe, Amatricina opened her mouth, drinking in her opponent's ki and firing it back at him in the form of a Chou Makousen. The great beam of energy arced across the battlefield as she swept her head. As she finished her assault, the demoness took to the skies, so she may look down upon her lesser, and survey the damage she'd wrought.

While the sword materialised, the energy came, the haze poured, and the beams seared, T stood there- drinking in the sight of it all. Something about him seemed off. Questionable fashion and possible delusions aside, the fact that he could remain so still in the face of this nigh-immortal threat may have been a hint at some strange affair. This came into full display when the flames, mist, and lasers failed to burn, choke, or wound him. Blast-hardened ground around them charred over and broke under the sheer force of this collision. Yet, the man was left idle with that same stupid smile.
“OOOooooo, secretary’s got some BITE!” He sniffed at the smoke around him. Did he detect a hint of cirtus? Probably not. Tapping lightly on the base of his bat, his eye came to notice a light scorch on the side of his vest. Negating all the damage wrought was indeed possible through intangibility, but the difference in sheer power was clear. She was on different level completely. “Alright, I’ll play with you for a bit.”
Tap. The bludgeon raised and lightly fell to the ground. Cracks started to form near the area of impact. Little by little, the cracks seeped as far as the eye could see. It was as if the entire land itself was as thin as a sheet of ice. Though far more peculiar was the fact that they spread upwards as well. Monsigneus’ sky itself broke apart like panes of glass. These shattered fragments drifted away to reveal specks of light beneath.
It was space. The world was crumbling apart to space. Was it an illusion? A mere trick of the light? Who knew?
Tap-tap. From behind, another T attempted to prod the demon’s shoulder twice. The other T remained standing in the same spot as before. This new T however, swung his oversized sport-equipment straight for her face.

Amatricina didn't so much as move, she simply faded from existence as the stranger swung his crude bludgeon. Dispersing into a million tiny cubes that reappeared instantly away from her opponent's irksome doppelganger. A Bunkai Teleport, one of the many dimension altering techniques she had learned since amassing godlike power. "You can manipulate the dimensional fabric as well. Quaint." The demoness mused aloud as she reconstituted her form. "You wield this power like a child though. Crudely, and without skill or grace." With that Amatricina raised a hand, ripping apart time and space and returning reality around the two to as it should be. She found it loathsome using so much energy in such a way, though she was not going to be fighting this mortal anywhere but the battlefield of her choosing. And with that, the world around them returned to the molten hellscape of her beloved throne world. Amatricina's aura flared, dispelling the more loathsome effects of her opponent's pocket dimension. The Demon Queen raised her left hand, it surged with Dark Energy as it drew in power from her world. She would need it later. Amatricina then leveled her gaze back on her foe, before dashing in once more blade clutched in her right hand. As she lunged tendrils of Dark Energy shot outwards from the persistent haze of her miasma, forming shadowy maws like serpents that lunged for her foe. Intent to snare him in a hundred bindings of darkness, making every movement against Amatricina's shackles an effort of exhaustion. The demoness then fired another volley of her Burning Gaze from her eyes, slashing outwards with her sword. Her very demonic aura boundless and gluttonous, drinking in her opponent's ki as the two warriors closed in on one another.

Following through on the missed attack, the doppelganger faded into thin air alongside the opponent. It left T alone- continuing to stand where he did at the very start of this engagement. As cocky as he was, the entity had to admit that this secretary had a good eye. Not only could she utilise a perfect form of teleportation to avoid attacks, but the ability to dispel his alteration may as well have been enough to merit divine status. Pity. He wanted to remain in the mango-scented space for a little while longer.
“Whoops!” A hand raised to cover his lips. Despite being found out, it seemed as though his mood had reached a new high. “Guess that cat’s out of the metaphorical, metaphysical, paradoxical-.”
Dark bindings wrapped themselves around his limbs, waist and centre mass. Judging by the lack of movement thereafter, they appeared to succeed holding him still. Yet as the Queen closed in, the crude bludgeon lifted to twirl- dissipating incoming beams before meeting her blade head on.
Dirt, dust, and other small particles alike were blown away. Stone ruptured as the earth itself quaked harshly under their feet. Veins of lava burst out with a mighty wail of agony. The ensuing shockwaves from their collision blasted apart the land for miles upon end. Even time itself appeared to grind to a halt. Beads of superheated red and yellow floated in the air around them. In that moment, it was a war between a maniacal smile and a burning gaze. Whichever would result in victory was unclear at best.
“-figurative, anxiety-inducing, far-too-frequently-referenced bagbox.” The man finished his sentence at last.
Thereafter, he vanished.
No special effects. No lapse in time.
Though one would be damned to bet on any chance that the demon could not sense him. What looked like a moon could be seen high above the poisoned clouds. Peculiar to say the least, especially when considering the fact that they were in the Demon Realm. On it, stood the entity himself. Ever smiling as he heaved his weapon up with both arms and proceeded to swing it straight for the surface. The sphere moved by one inch. Two inches. Five. Twenty.
Now it became abundantly apparent that the object was hurtling straight towards their initial battlefield. More importantly, this moon-sized meteor was heading for the planet. The pitcher made his toss.

Fighting with this damnable mortal was sapping Amatricina's very ki. She could feel it with every blow struck by this enigma of a man. He couldn't hurt her, but he was trying to exhaust her. So be it, there was endless fuel for her fire, let him try. Amatricina herself was more irked at her inability to inflict lasting damage on her opponent. Even snared by her Malicious Intent she could not decisively strike the warrior. If she could even call him that. When he vanished skyward, Amatricina immediately looked skyward as she followed the scent of his ki. Her foe stood high above her, perched on a moon itself. It was not Tenebris, the Dark Moon of her world, but instead appeared more akin to a crude facsimile of Earth's own moon. Though it was missing the damage from when Lord Kamui had been beaten by the Mark I. Amatricina watched with cold fury as her opponent sent the meteor hurtling downwards towards her. "Insect, you think that could ever harm me!?" Amatricina roared in defiance, inhaling deeply and breathing out a Chou Makouhou in response. The massive beam of energy flew forth from the demon's mouth, colliding with the moon and detonating it in a violent explosion that rocked the planet. Amatricina was unphased, the blast of energy from the collision harmlessly mitigated by her Unvanquished Flame. Her foe however, she presumed had received the brunt of the damage instead. Amatricina then vanished again, shifting away into a Bunkai Teleport. She appeared before her foe, one hand at her hip the other clutching her blade. "Witness Agony, Mortal." She commanded simply, as a blinding flash of malevolent ruby energy blasted from her eyes. Amatricina's Agonizing Gaze, a demonic magic intent to cripple her foes with agonizing pain that surged through their entire body. Only the strongest wills could avoid its full intensity. As she worked her fell magic, Amatricina opened her mouth and drank in ever more of her opponent's ki. He was far from the only being that could steal another's ki. Amatricina then swung out with her blade, firing another Burning Gaze at her foe as she did. This battle was loathsome, but not as loathsome as the stranger's smile.

Eyes widened as his manifestation was blasted apart by an incoming beam. Her ray shot through the moon and towards him. The man was bathed in a scorching light for a second before landing onto one of the many chunks of land that avoided disintegration. His legs were twisted out of shape. An arm was missing entirely from its socket. When Amatricina made herself known, her mere gaze caused him to shriek out in terror. Beads of sweat descended his temples as blood pooled beneath him.
“AAAAAAAAAA-” He could barely prop himself up with his remaining arm, much less stand. ”THE PAIN! THE PAAAAAIN!” This was the end, or so it had seemed. Her blade then met his bat once more in a clash. The object floated in mid-air. Slowly, his body brought itself up as well. Legs took proper form, blood vaporised, and the space around him blurred before limbs reappeared in. He was whole yet again.
“Just kidding,” he admitted coyly. As sparks flew from the friction of each weapon, his free hand lifted to tap lightly upon his nose. This new clash utterly destroyed the platform. With that being the case, T shifted to another. His being faded away into charred,black fragments. One could compare the sight to burning newspapers gently drifting in a light breeze. “I suppose tease you any longer would be in bad taste.” A voice sounded out. Its source had yet to be seen. “I’ll turn it up by a little.”
His presence could be felt nearly everywhere. Technically, it was. Orbs of white could be seen around the area. Their source could be chalked up to the so-called mortal that she encountered. How he set it up however, was as much of an enigma as the figure himself. It was then that each and every one of them shot out in towards the Demon Queen. More and more continued to pour forth from thin air.
T glided among the shower, circling the bolts as if merely spectating his own match.

Amatricina was beyond irritated her Agonizing Gaze had not delivered its intended effects, and clenched her fists in silent, seething rage. This dimension bending mortal possessed an indomitable will in addition to his masterful use of magic. She was also loath to admit he was burning through her ki reserves far faster than any foe she had faced. Still, his childish display did nothing but agitate the demon further. Once more she avoided several of his attempt at attacks, the rest finding no purchase in damage her armored form. The Demon Queen had long since deduced her opponent was trying to win by means other than simply slaying her, to which he would find her flames much harder to extinguish. Once more Amatricina shifted away as the shower of energy blasts hurtled her way, phasing out of this dimension with a Bunkai Teleport. The stranger's attacks met nothing but molten skies and searing ground. Amatricina reappeared before her opponent as his barrage conflicted, though her mouth contorted into a strain as she felt her own reserves of ki so diminished. "You make mockery of my Agonizing Gaze, let us see if you can withstand it twice!" The demoness cried out, ruby energy flashing once more from her eyes. She had met mortals who could withstand her dark magics initially, though most cracked under sufficient duress. Another debilitating flash of light fired forth to inflict soul piercing agony. Once more as it finished Amatricina dashed in to strike with her blade. The demonic weapon swung through the air in concert with another volley of Amatricina's Burning Gaze. Sooner or later she'd land the fatal blow she needed, and sear this fool with her hellfire. Until then she'd continue to just try and strike this imbecile, the demon had faced warriors such as this before. Those that favored incredible defense for lackluster offensive power. It was always a matter of outlasting them, whittling them over time. It was one thing she felt she excelled at, death by a thousand searing cuts.

When the maelstrom of plasma reached its conclusion, the skies around were filled with dust and floating debris. It seemed that they made contact with various formerly-intact chunks of moon rock while failing to reach her. Others that did not explode ended up either wreaking havoc on Monsigneus or somewhere in the depths of the demon realm. One might never know which unfortunate, off-world demon civilisation might suffer from the effects of the bolt. Whatever the case, the skirmish between two ungodly powers continued.
This time, however, the man appeared to have lost his excited expression. He still smiled, yet his actions seemed somewhat more lethargic than before. The enthusiasm behind his demeanour had corroded. Even as another attack launched his way, all T did in response was flick it away. His right index finger dispersed the ruby light into what looked like shards of tinted glass. Each piece floated slowly in the direction of his flick prior to being reduced to nothing. “Going to be completely honest- I liked the prequel better,” he stated flatly as his eye rolled.
The bludgeon disappeared with a flick of his wrist. Both hands retreated to the pockets of his pants thereafter. Confidence virtually radiated from every fibre of his being. Perhaps with good reason. He ascended while the next swing approached. Almost as if rubbing the salt in her non-existent wounds, the man came to hop to the very tip of the sword. A single foot was all it took for him to balance upon it ever-so-briefly before leaping backwards.
Ten. Twenty. Thirty meters away. Whether she gave chase or stood still, he continued to glide down. “You’re starting to bore me.” And there it was. He began to tire from his little bout, or at the very least, he was tired of its monotony. “Is there anything you can do besides stare at me like a young maiden and flail around?” Shooting lasers and summoning weird fruity mists were among the list, but mentioning that may as well been an insult on its own. She seemed capable of stealing his a faction of his energy as well. It felt strange that the demon needed to do so even when she was more powerful than him.
“Oh well. Maybe the Demon Queen can put on a better show!” Shoulders raised in a light shrug. His one eye closed as he leaned back on a non-existent sofa. “Would you go get her if I threaten to blow up the planet and erase every demon here?”

Amatricina had had it with this petulant mortal's petty insults. Her aura flared to hellish heights as she drew in immense amounts of Dark Energy to fuel her seething wrath. "You talk a big game, Mortal. But you have to physically harm me. I know you can't the same of yourself." She said back in mocking, with every blow the Demon Queen whittled away at her foe bit by bit. Whereas he had yet to scratch her armored form. When the stranger threatened her planet, and her clan though, it filled Amatricina with unbridled rage the likes of which few beings lived to see. She let out a defiant roar, power coursing through her before she shifted away with another Bunkai Teleport. The Demon Queen emerged above and behind her foe, her Demon God's Blade clutched in both hands. "YOU DARE THREATEN THE FIRE DEMON CLAN? I WILL CLEAVE YOUR HEAD FROM YOUR NECK FOR THAT MORTAL!" Amatricina charged her foe, slashing wildly at speeds few warriors could hope to track. Aiming for muscle and sinew, slicing in an attempt to cripple her foe outright. Raining down a flurry of slashes none could hope to fully avoid. As she finished Amatricina landed on the ground, it buckled beneath her in a wide crater. She flicked her molten blade to the side, flecking it clean of any blood as she prepared for her next assault.

Buttons were pushed. Admittedly, he did not think that it would be that effective in practice. Threatening to destroy a world was little more than a passing comment than an actual promise. Nevertheless, the reaction returned a semblance of energy behind his smile. It persisted further. Even as his body was butchered and cleaved, the man held that crazed expression with him. Every slash and stroke only brought her claim into reality. Fingers, limbs, centre alike- all came to part from his original form. Though, what resided on her blade after was not blood, but cotton. The severed being began to descend to the plant below. Fluffy bits of white wafted from the openings in its mass. A substitution. His trick was now abundantly clear. Yet, how he performed it remained another one of his mysteries. T himself stood exactly where the pillow-foe was before being ripped apart. With a hand in each pocket, the entity stared at his foe ahead. Close, but no cigar. He followed her chain of attacks with one of his own. First, a knee to the stomach. Whether it made its mark failed to concern him. They were; after all; still playing around. A series of straight kicks came after- angled both high and low. He broke further into space after finally ending his own barrage. It was time to start off fresh. Now that he knew the pace his fellow combatant was comfortable fighting at, a faction of his own power should be unleashed. His right hand emerged from the depths of a pocket. It remained clenched for a mere moment. Energy levels spiked as he waved it forward. A tiny, black sphere floated from his palm towards her. Suddenly, the very air itself twisted around it. Space and matter contorted- stretching at the seams with a violent wail. Light began to twist as the manifestation grew larger and larger, rapidly pulling all in towards it in its wake.

Amatricina's wrath only grew once she realized the deception, and she obliterated what remained of the doppelganger with her Burning Gaze. Teeth clenched she turned to her foe, doing her best to parry and deflect his blows as he rained down his punches and kicks upon her. With every strike through, Amatricina's demonic aura drank in more and more of her opponent's ki to refuel what she had expended. Her All-Consuming Flame was exactly as named, and her capacity for absorption nearly boundless. Injury was permitted, so long as it bought Amatricina enough of a window to drink in more of her nameless foe's energy. She had durability to spare, but this damnable imbecile was more cunning than he'd ever care to let on. His game was draining her ki, which the demoness would happily claim back. When her opponent launched a miniaturized Black Hole at the Demon Queen, she could only cross her arms and bare the brunt of the attack. Amatricina was consumed by the Black Hole, only for the anomaly to then in turn be consumed by her. She returned to the material, and the attack vanished within the depth of her ominous burning aura. She was left panting though, that attack had admittedly hurt more than she expected. In turn though it had provided ample ki to continue the demon's assault. "Mortal..." Amatricina spoke through clenched teeth. "I tire of these games. Now suffer!" With that the Demon Queen raised her free hand, once more the endless hydra of shadow tendrils erupting from beneath her cloak. As they raced out to ensnare her foe she ignited her Demon God Blade. The weapon burned bright as a sun, as Amatricina grinned a wicked grin. The demoness swung her weapon, firing sword blast after sword blast at her foe. Molten arcs of demonic energy racing across the battlefield, intent to cleave up her foe. Amatricina's rage was boundless, she would never tire, and never surrender. It was the edict of her clan to Die Standing. There was no better death on the battlefield than to die on your own two feet. Though the Queen of the Demon Realm had no intent to die this day. "Your petty distractions won't save you from my wrath Mortal. I will feast on your soul after I'm throw carving your head from your neck." She intended to make good on her threats.

“And I’m glad you’re having fun!” The person roared in return. Every single scratch, bash and slash incurred had been according to plan. This was what he wanted. Pure and unrivalled excitement of facing an insurmountable power all the while playing around on his own end. Even as more tendrils shot out to bind limbs and body tight, he smiled throughout it all. His opponent was not in the exact state he desired. Enraged, empowered, and entirely arrogant. Ergo, completely according to expectations.
“Oh, but don’t worry.” Shadows cast upon the land from large chunks of falling debris pulled towards his being. “Here comes my FINAL ATTACK!” The air shivered with a chilling energy. But, the man stayed still. Something seemed off. Very, very off. In the face of death itself, T appeared as casual as ever. “Wait a second-” He continued on.
“I need to charge this for like, five minutes.” And that was the excuse he gave. Or at the very least, that was the excuse this version of him gave. Was he here? Was he not? Against someone who could instantly move across two points without the use of Bunkai Teleportation, one might never be able to decipher the like properly.

"INSECT!" Amatricina roared in fury, clutching her blade. Her aura flared out before condensing around her. "YOU DO NOT FLEE MY WRATH SO EASILY!" The demoness could still sense her opponent's presence, however faint. He was still here, somewhere, for the moment at least. Amatricina clutched her fist, planting her blade in the ground. The only suitable solution was to strike everywhere at once. Obliterate whatever dimensional rift or portal this fool had used to breach her realm, and incinerate him utterly before her might. Amatricina let out a piercing roar, ebony lightning crackling around her aura as she drew in strength. There was another blinding flash of light, an unintentional Fell Flash of sorts from the intensity of her aura as it condensed. Like the light of a red sun, about to go supernova. The Queen of the Demon Realm raised her hand above her head, holding a nucleus of Dark Energy in her palm. A perfect black sphere of malevolent, ruinous power. She crushed it like an orb of glass, and immediately a massive explosion erupted around her. In an instant everything around the demon was awash in her hellfire. Were it any other world, forests would burn, and oceans evaporated. In a few moments the cataclysmic blast passed, and Amatricina could not immediately detect her foe. Either he had successfully fled, or had perished in her attack. The demoness pulled her blade from the ground beneath her feet. The crater left was miles wide, and immediately Amatricina began magically materializing new rock to replace that which she had destroyed in her anger. As she did though, she sensed out for any trace of the fool that dared challenge her in her own home. Some time passed and Amatricina restored the damage to her world, the power level of the nameless stranger having long since vanished without trace. "He is either dead, or a craven..." Amatricina said simply to herself, content with that resolution. However, he had made a powerful enemy this day. To mock the Queen of the Demon Realm and flee before her, was to commit to egregious offenses. She would hunt this man down, someday. When that time arrived his suffering would only just be beginning. "Hmph..." Came the Demon Queen's final thoughts on the matter.
