Tora narrowly evaded the giant fangs of Amatracina in her draconic form, barely making his way out of the path of the miasmic fog that was her breath. Nasty. She was strong, yes. But she was slow. One of the fangs had scratched him but he had managed to get away, thanks to her sluggish performance. Perhaps she was distracted?

It didn't matter to Tora. He glared at her, as she asked him a question. About hope. In the past they had philosophized together and reached an understanding. But this was something he would have to educate her on- the pity he had once felt for her faded into true sadness. Then he spoke, his tone harsh and honest:

"You dare to lecture me on hope..? What could you ever know about hope? You've clung to power and strived for it out of fear. Fear of being weaker than us mortals- fear of being too weak to truly be worth your title. I see right through your facade. You're a scared little girl, not a dragon!"

With that he burst into action. The mist like ki around him hardened as he extended the size of his claws. This time he struck for her neck, aiming to follow through and phase to the other side. His assault would continue from there. Next would be Dain, Tora appearing just after Genesis' own attack. Several cuts to the fighters' neck aimed to decapitate him and rend his ugly head from his body. Tora had grown sick of these bullies. Sly would be his next target.

Dissipating from next to the Saiyan, he appeared directly in front his Sly, his arms crossed as his muscles bulged with strength. He reinvigorated his defensive capabilities with his Iron Skin technique and then began his assault. A cleaving downward slash was aimed to split the Raccoon in two, and if that failed he would proceed to attempt to quite literally skin the damned thing alive. Its pelt would go nice above his fire place.

Often, Tora resented violence of this magnitude. Death was not his forte. But these men were killers, plain and simple. It was a situation of them-- or himself. He recalled his fight against Lute and wished it could be different. But, alas.

They just weren't worth it.

"And you will soon be equally as dead as you are as wrong, Tora." Amatricina simply replied coldly, turning away from the tiger warrior. His attacks lunged for her throat this time, as foolish a venture as going for her eyes. Once more the giant demonic avoided the lion's share of his blows, the rest harmlessly deflected off her Unvanquished Flame. Tora's assaults were relentless, but feeble and lacking in skill. He fought as the beasts of his home did, with only crude animalistic instinct. All the same, Amatricina drank in the warrior's ki as he lashed at her throat. She'd feast on all the energy she could this battle. It was her great source of sustenance for her true demonic form. "Once I have finished off your ally..." She added, ruby eyes shifting away from the earthling martial artist.

The Demon Queen turned her attention back to the godly warrior, still locked in battle against Dain Sincara at they matched blows. Amatricina opened her mouth wide, drawing in ki from the fighter's divine aura and pooling it in her throat. She corrupted it with her living flame, changing the once benevolent energy into rampant hellfire and spewing it back over the battlefield at her foes. Setting ablaze anything in her way as she craned her head across the room. The demoness then charged the powerful combatant headlong, fangs bared and claws ready. She slashed and clawed at Genesis, seeking to maim him with her talons and teeth in order to hamper his ability to continue fighting.

Dain's twin blasts were sent rocketing towards him, Tora realizing he only had the ability to properly defend one. His mist like aura gathered to defend him as he did a few odd signs, the first of the two blasts colliding with his extended palms. Surprisingly, the blast redirected and was sent careening towards Dain, detonating when he was in close quarters with his own attack. Then the second blast struck Tora's auric shield, the misty ki barely defending him from the brunt of the attack.

However, the mist around the battlefield that Tora had left in the wake of his assault sprung to action again. His lingering ki struck for his enemies once more, particularly Sly and Dain. Tora stood there, smouldering, his fangs elongating further as his hair became even more wild. Now he was really mad- and tracking Dain's every movement. The Saiya-jin would be hard pressed to follow Tora's movement as he seemed to transcend time itself, appearing in front of the lumbering fool, attempting to bury his fist in the oversized Super Saiyan's gut.

From their, he would phase away so quickly he would leave an after image, appearing almost on both sides of the Saiyan at the same time, twin slashes hoping to split the man up the middle. Then Tora would be gone, his next target the little Raccoon. He materialized above the anthro, claws glimmering with lethal energy. The earthling would aim a downward slash at Sly, literally appearing on the opposite side of the creature after his attack. In that moment he had attempted a plethora of slashes towards various tender areas on the little creature.

Tora had noticed Doctor Grey was downed. His stomach churned at the idea of failure- his attention turned to Amatracina, who had attempted to target himself and Genesis with her attack. Rancid flames spewed towards him, that he hardly managed to avoid. Then Tora sprung into action, aiming another slash across her belly, hoping to strike the area he had attacked earlier.

Tora no Seishin was done playing around.

His plan worked somewhat, but a sense of disappointment surged over him as he witnessed Genesis brush his attacks off like they were nothing. Furthermore, the tiger creature speed seemed to be increasing and it was starting to take much more effort the raccoon to avoid him. As his onslaught continued, Sly was forced to sacrifice his robotic sidekick to mitigate the incoming damage. When all was said and done, the furry raccoon stood mostly unharmed. A smile crossed his snout once more as he scanned the battle field. It seemed the doctor was down and out, and hiding somewhere among the place. The raccoon made a mental note, to visit the doctor once this battle was done and over with.

Even though he managed to receive a minimal amount of damage throughout the battle, it wasn't at a cost. Sly had noticed his breathing was much heavier and his muscles were beginning to become fatigued. Due to this, he took a second to recollect his thoughts and some energy,

"Come on Sly, just keep pushing. Only two more left. We got this!"

After his little pep talk and moment to himself he decided it was time to get back to the action. Continuing his trend, he would spring off the floor and into the air. His revolvers would be drawn and aimed at Genesis once more. Massive amount of energy bullets would fly from the revolvers and launch themselves towards the super human. Sly was hoping this time he could at least inflict some pain. As he finished his assault he would land on his feet and shout out to Tora and Genesis once more,

"Okay guys, the doctor is done and out. Now do us all a favor and just leave. I mean what purpose are you guys even trying to solve at this point?"

Tora came at the Queen of the Demon Realm once more, and once more she managed to avoid the worst of his attacks. Her massive body moving with surprising speed even against his assault. What blows did land met only hardened scales and were simply shrugged off by the giant demon god herself. "Your strength is failing you, Tora." She told the mortal coldly, unphased by his attack. His injuries were getting to him, the burns on his body sapping his strength. All according to plan, though Amatricina herself had sustained considerable damage repeatedly intercepting his much more powerful ally's blows. She needed end this battle sooner, rather than later.

"But you will be..." Amatricina said flatly to Tora in response, as he mustered back his strength. His resolve was unyielding, she would give him that. Already he had pushed his body far beyond that of what his race should be capable of. It vexed her to no end how mortals could possess such inner reserves of strength. Infuriated her that she could not simply crush this Tora like the insect he was before her raw power level. The Demon Queen opened her eyes wide once more, sending forth a second flash of hellish light at the mortal warrior. She was filled with wrath her first had failed to do its job, though a second surely would not fail.

Amatricina then turned her attention back to the rest of the battle at hand. She raised a huge paw, demonic ki crackling at her fingertips as it glowed with sinister ruby energy. "I have not forgotten you Sly. Embrace the boon of the Demon Queen." She commanded, flooding her champion with a huge surge of demonic power. As she finished Amatricina reared her head back, pooling demonic energy in her throat and unleashing a Chou Makouhou at Genesis. A brilliant beam of crimson ki that roared across the enclosed confines of their battleground. Intent to slam into the warrior's flank and rake him with debilitating demonic energy to further sap him of his strength.

A menace? Dain had been called a lot of things in his life time. In fact menace was roughly in the two hundreds. Normally such words came from his superiors though as they had to pay the damages he caused, carefully hidden in his contract as additional costs when hiring him. “Maybe so, but you are supporting a scientist controlling a spaceship the size of a star, who supports the empire. There are countless places where I would be called a hero if I managed to take it from him. Wouldn’t you say whether I am a menace or a hero is always part of a persons point of view” He replied serious, his grin for a moment vanishing from his face.

He hated such types, the goody two shoes heroes, who believed they were always right. It was so pointless. They would die with time, as would their deeds and even the morals they upheld. In a thousand years they would be viewed as barbarians. The universe having outgrown them and their points of view, forgetting them completely. “Shame, I would have loved to spar with you.” He said disappointed, before vanishing just before Genesis could hit him.

Instead he decided to focus on the other guy. At the very least he had been giving it his all and Dain wanted to make sure he would give him the same respects. “Tora is it not? Same to you, you have earned my respect. Let me send you off by giving it my all. Dain extended both hands into the air as if he was summoning the legendary technique called the spirit bomb. Instead though he released a rather large amount of golden lightning into the air and immediately dark clouds formed and began to expand till they covered the entire arena. It was in a way his ultimate technique, capable of erasing entire armies at the same time and although not best suited for 1 vs 1 combat, the technique should keep his foe on his toes.

“This is everything. The culmination of everything I have!” He said with a grin as he released another huge bolt of lightning into the dark clouds, which immediately began to rumble and grumble. Before releasing it´s payload. In a moment hundreds of lightning bolts began to rain down upon the arena, pelting the area with powerful bolts. None directly aimed at his foe, but numerous enough that anything in the area was in danger.

Well that was rather disappointing. He had not expect Genesis to grab Tora and flee as he did. He did understand it though. The situation had turned from bad to worse and even the mighty warrior could not have hoped to stand against the three of them. Had he done the same? He asked the answer rhetorically, yet somehow managed to surprise himself with the answer. He would have done the same. Had he been fighting alone he probably would have fought till the bitter end. However to save Sly and his mistress he would have taken the shame of defeat. Probably…

In any case now there was something more to look forward to. He was sure he would be meeting Genesis again someday and perhaps then they could end their duel. Just the thought was enough to make Dain smile. Even more interesting was Tora. He had grown to a size so big his attacks had hit everyone. The Saiya-Jin made the mental not to look into it. If he remembered correctly his race had some ability like that. He would have to dig into his memory books probably to read his memories about the issue.

For now there were more important things to do though. “Thank you for your help.” He said, while powering down, as he raised his hand to both Sly and his mistress, honestly thankful for them coming to his aid.

Perhaps later they could celebrate properly on board the Atrioch with lots of food and drink. Right now though he had to finish the job, so without looking back he walked out of the room and began his search. It took a while, but eventually he found it. Some kind of reinforced room. Probably a safe room or merely to protect what he was after. Unsurprisingly it was a safe room, he noticed it as soon as he saw the doctors injured body, surrounded by what seemed to be a lives work of research. He glanced over it quickly, but saw nothing he could make head of tails of. A subtle reminder of the genius the man was.“Thank you, my good doctor.” He said with due respect as he walked up to the man. The Saiya-Jin could not hate him. He had put up a good fight and he had been the transgressor. If he had a senzubean left he might have given it to the doctor, alas he had not. So he did the best he could. He placed the unconscious body in a position that would allow him to rest properly and even placed the remainder of his dirty, torn, bloody and sweaty robe under the man’s head. “Sleep tight and remember my offer. You are free to help me.” He said as he got up and walked out, in search of the room containing the priced chip.

Eventually he found it though. The room was mostly empty, aside from one single piece of furniture. In it was a pedestal or remarkable humble design. A metal stand with a glass dome, containing a single chip. Dain almost let out a chuckle as he easily broke through the protective dome and plugged the chip from the stand. It was almost stupid they had been fighting over something so small.

Instantly the lights in the ship began to grow dimmer and without the chip to steer it, life support began to shut down and smaller explosions could be heard from the outer edge. Still he figured that the star probably had safety measures and that it would divert it’s power inside, keeping the core safe as long as possible. He did not know how long the good doctor would survive before the star would blow up, but he figured there would be plenty of time.

If not… he was no hero. He had spared the man’s life, that should be enough.

“Okay we got it, let’s get out of here.” He said with a grin to Sly, who he suddenly noticed standing in the hole he made in the wall.
