As Asuka landed the final strike on her foe and watched her fall backward internally she reveled in her victory. “I did it!” as the crowd began to chant her name she looked around and scratched her head, her cheeks turning red as she’s not used to the adoration. She was happy to have won even better to have won a tournament as well. But she was also happiest with her performance, able to apply her new techniques to perfection and pull out a strong win. But she was also quite impressed with how well Bridget had fought and as she saw her opponent raise her head to glare up to her, suffering the sting of defeat. And as the crowd had begun to chant Asuka's name rather than hers internally the showman's pride felt wounded, but even still as she laid there all she could do was accept it. But in a display of respect, something Asuka had always shared towards Bridget, Asuka walked over to her foe and extended out her hand toward her. “Hey! I’m so proud of you!” Asuka said with a warm smile. Yet when Asuka had said "proud." she was speaking less of Bridget's fighting ability, for Asuka already knew how strong she was but more so of the amazing changes her rival had gone through. When these two first met, Bridget was a rowdy street fighter with a bad attitude, with a lot of skill and no discipline, and Asuka was overconfident but unrefined. The two had fought to a draw and were both humbled in the process never thinking that the two of them could ever lose. Ever since then Asuka had always kept Bridget in her thoughts and was eager to see how she would change as a fighter and a person, and look at her now. She channeled her skill for fighting with her passion for showmanship, into by the sounds of things a successful wrestling career abandoning her life of delinquency and transforming into a great fighter and overall human being. The only thing to do now was to put their rivalry behind them and hopefully start over as friends. All Bridget needed to do was shake her hand.
