Kamui was angry enough to scream. He couldn't believe this development. It enraged him more than anything else. Every attack he tried to execute, every movement of his, was anticipated and parried by his opponent. Vile seemed to be one step ahead of him at every opportunity. No, several. This entire battle seemed to be laid out before him before it even started. Everything going according to Vile's plan. Could it be? Could he just be acting as the man predicted? It couldn't be.....but as Kamui grunted in exertion, his own energy wave faltering against Vile's own, Kamui couldn't help but realize that the gap between them wasn't merely in power. Wasn't merely in defensive capabilities. The Heran was superior in nearly every way to him. He used his capabilities much better, much smarter than Kamui could ever. Kamui just couldn't compare. He could have never compared. And it broke the Frost Demon. Screaming out in desperation, Kamui poured out more energy into his destructive wave, the output of energy resulting in a mass detonation of both beams of energy, sending concussive energy waves out in all direction, moving to harm the both of them. At the last moment, Kamui crossed his arms over his chest and summoned a hasty energy barrier to try and protect himself against the beam. It served to protect him from some of it, but didn't serve to protect himself enough. Being blown back, the Frost Demon went flying backwards. Quickly twirling to right himself in midair, Kamui grunted, his eyes dropping from Vile's gaze, his chest heaving with exertion. "I continue....not for monetary value. My reasons are my own. Whether or not I die is regardless. You say there are traits about myself that you despise...you make me laugh, Heran. Except all I can do is chuckle without feeling pain. There are traits present in anyone that another will despise. Your hatred of me is a reflection of yourself...so your current retreat? Your retreat into retirement...it's merely the natural feeling of retreat. Sins of life, mistakes....the older you get, the more you realize what a horrid world we live in, and your horrid participation in it. One naturally becomes horrified with themselves, and run from society...seek redemption through solitude. To simply abandon one's past life to build themselves anew. In an endless search to purge themselves of a guilt that will never....never fade.""Everyone despises another...I am a galactic one trick pony....but you are not. I am not fighting you for money any longer. If I were, I would've retreated long ago. No...I fight you so that I may learn from my mistakes. Your style, your control of your power. Kamui finished, his battered body slowly moving once again into a fighting stance. His muscle mass was reducing itself greatly. He had lost, and he knew it. But, it was still worth the attempt to continue. Launching himself at his opponent, Kamui once again rushed his opponent. Kamui made a move as if to vanish once again, but instead of shifting closer to Vile, he widened the distance, actually appearing farther than he had previously. Vile was lost at ‘not for monetary value’. Apparently, his opponent had two modes of conversation: mute, or not to ever stop talking. If nothing else, he felt like blasting himself in the stomach to cease having to listen to the expository monologue. Then again, trying to teach the value of friendship in the middle of a fight probably flew over his opponent’s head by a long shot. If all that he wanted to do was fight for the sake of fighting, tutoring a person was probably not the Heran’s forte.
Slapping away both of the spheres of Ki, he turned his gaze back over to the changeling.
“You know,” Vile started off once more. A flick of his right hand to the side was made- the sharpened bolt of ki reached out yet again. “Your words would be a lot more meaningful if you did not just spew out an entire monologue at me.”
Having said as such, a swift swipe slashed over his enemy’s chest. Meanwhile, his left hand shot outward to punch Kamui directly in his throat. It aimed to inflict as little damage as possible while maximising the agony that one could be in. The fight would soon come to a close- he was sure of it. When its conclusion was reached, the man decided to seeing through whatever would happen next.

His power was depleting, his muscle mass returning to normal. In fact, he appeared to be even weaker than he was previously, not that it mattered at this point to his opponent. He could barely move as the energized slash of Ki ran over his chest, cutting through his armor once more and drawing another spew of blood to gush from his chest. Hell, he could barely react when Vile jabbed him in the throat, the Changeling gasping and coughing as he reared back from Vile.
He could barely move, barely speak any longer. Straining himself while at 100% had left him weaker then he had ever been. Yet even so, he was determined to persevere. He'd be damned if it ended this way. He wouldn't...he wouldn't stop until he was physically and mentally unable to continue anymore.
As Kamui staggered back from the throat jab, the Changeling made a motion with his fingers, and suddenly one of the purple spheres of Ki that Vile had slapped away earlier came shooting back to haunt him, the energy sphere being remotely controlled by Kamui to come back for a second round, moving to detonate upon contact with the Heran's back.
In tandem with such a maneuver, Kamui would channel whatever little Ki remained within him for one last hurrah. Moving himself forward, the Frost Demon would send his metal tipped boot straight up to connect right between Vile's legs, targeting the male extremities. At the same time, the Changeling would throw a left hook at Vile. Simply standing where he was finally got the better of him. Though he saw the Frost Demon approach directly, Vile spent the time wondering what kind of attack was about to be launched instead of trying to actively dodge the incoming assault. Too little of a reaction too late- as he tried to move left, the metal tip of his enemy’s boot managed to slam directly into his left thigh. Had he been any later on that timing, things would have panned out worse than a stab in the leg.
The notion of using such a combat technique infuriated him more so than the remote-controlled energy bolts that exploded behind him. Multiple chances were given- in the grand scheme of things, the Heran was being extremely lenient to the person who tried to murder him without a second thought.
He was done.
He was done utterly, thoroughly, totally, and in all other synonyms of the adjective.
“Alright, you know what?” Breaking away from the clash to avoid the hook, he spoke his mind. Unbeknownst to the Frost Demon, Vile was monitoring his opponent’s progress throughout this entire encounter. The Heran hoped to impart some form of life lesson and spare all of them- perhaps even give them a ship as a parting gift for the moral learned. “I was going to teach you a lesson about valuing those under you, but sure.”
Time to finish this.
“Screw you.” In the blink of an eye, he materialised above the dome.
“Screw your teammates.” Overlooking all the people within, he lifted his left hand up closer to his chest.
“AND GOODBYE!” In a blinding flash of green, a pea-sized orb of plasma descended slowly unto the dome. Yet blink after blink, one might just notice that it grew to the size of a modest planetary satellite. It became the size of the moon until finally-

This was beyond himself now...now he was planning on killing the lot of them. Kaiju, Amon-Ra, Krayt. They did't stand a chance against him. They had been hopelessly hammering against the shield since the bout had began, with no end to the onslaught clear in sight. Kaiju.No. He wouldn't let her die like this. He couldn't let her die like this. This man.....this man wished for a fight. He would give him a fight. As if possessed by a greater fire, Kamui's power shot up once again, and the man screamed out. "I'D BE DAMNED!"Kamui directed his finger straight to the sky, yellow electricity sparking from his fingertip. He had one chance at this.... "You will not destroy them! I'd rather go to hell myself!" Kamui yelled out as energy continued to coalesce into his fingertip, the Changeling's blue aura flaring erratically, the gathering of so much energy apparently a struggle for the rather capable Frost Demon. But then again, once Kamui was ready...it was easy to see why. Kamui's yellow orb of Ki expanded outwards at a near exponential rate, representing the sun in appearance. The orb grew larger and larger, many times larger than Kamui himself, so much so that it looked like the energy sphere, which was crackling with black electricity along the frame, looked just as ready to engulf the caster than it was not. Rearing his hand back, he launched the massive sun-like sphere of Ki at Vile's own, the two gigantic energy spheres clashing with tremendous force, the likes of which shook the very ground. The two energy spheres attempted to merge before violently detonating, sending massive shockwaves in either direction, throwing Kamui from his position violently towards the ground. "You can do whatever you will to me....but if you lay one hand on the remainder of my soldiers, I will come back from the depths of hell to kill you." Kamui said as he sat in a crater created by his own impact, his limbs a mess of blood and gore, the actual appendages themselves rather difficult to find underneath the red pools. His face was a mess of burned flesh and blood, and one of his bull horns had apparently splintered and broke. At this point, he couldn't move, and even if he had the ability to, he wouldn't have the strength of will to. He truly was defeated. Now, it was just for the killer. "Do as you will with me. That appeared to have done the trick. His foe was weakened- barely able to stand in fact. Meanwhile, the other ‘bounty hunter’s were off cowering in another corner of the dome. Vile wondered why they even bothered coming along if all they did was hide and let a stronger person do all the work. The fools did not even attempt to shoot at him with whatever they could muster.
“I’m definitely going to go back to being a mercenary,”muttered the Heran to himself as he wiped off a line of blood from his chin. He slowly descended towards his counterpart, and with the clatter of boots against the blast-hardened ground, Vile stared at the Frost Demon ahead.
He almost pitied the thing. The person had nothing left in his arsenal and his teammates failed to muster enough courage to help. One could only deliberate as to the reason they mattered to him.
“Tell you what- I’ll make you a deal.” A loud crick resounded from his collar as the man rowed his own head around in a circle. Thereafter, he brought a single hand forward in Kamui’s direction to unleash his most devastating move: a single, gentle flick on the forehead. It was meant as a final shot to down the person more than anything else. More could come after if compliance did not occur. “Give me your word that you’ll never try to kill anyone again, and I’ll spare you and your team.” A simple request. That was about it.
“Get an actual job in an office; no politics; become a janitor or something- I don’t care. Stop acting like an idiot in general.” He clapped his hands twice, going on to life both arms in the air as the air crackled and sparked to life. Beneath them, the ground rumbled intensely as if in fear of what was about to take place. “If you think for a moment that you’re special just because you can blow things up, consider this-”
The End?
A tiny sphere of energy materialised between his two palms. It grew larger and larger by the very second, eventually reaching a size that would have encompassed the entire area if not for the dome in the way. This sphere of ki remained for a moment before dissipating altogether.
“I am a hundred times stronger than you, and I was planning to set up a bar.” After that, his hands were brought back to his sides. “Not because I regret my past like you speculated, but because I got bored and didn’t decide to go kill more people like a moron.”

It was over. He knew it. It wasn't necessarily hard to see. He was stuck at a point of no return. He couldn't do anything. He couldn't act. He couldn't even get up from the point that he was in. He couldn't feel his arms or legs. Hell, were they even there? He couldn't see them from the mess of blood before him. And this man was over here was trying to get him to swear off fighting? Become a Janitor? He could hardly believe it. "Damn you! Do not insult me like this! One day...one day I will kill you!" He screamed at the man. Kamui growled. His opponent may been leagues stronger than him, but he resolved to himself silently that he wouldn't die. He simply refused to. He wouldn't allow this man to kill him. Even if he had to drag himself up with Telekinesis and destroy and ram his half broken horns into the man's spinal cord. "I will not fall to your lap due to your pity! I will....I will...!"That was when the shuttle arrived. ---------------------------------------------------- Kaiju kept her eyes riveted on Kamui and Vile, the Heran male standing over Kamui. Her boyfriend. Her lover, hopelessly broken by an enemy leagues stronger than anyone in the vicinity. The arrival of reinforcements was meant strictly for evacuation purposes. Numbers alone wouldn't defeat a threat such as this. But if they could extract Kamui. If the shield could be dropped.... "Krayt, Amon-Ra, with me!" The Makyan female yelled as she sent herself rocketing towards the pair, accompanied by Krayt and Amon-Ra. Compared to Kamui, their power levels were rather weak, with the strongest being Kaiju who held a power level of around forty two thousand, and Amon-Ra and Krayt holding power levels below twenty thousand. Had they engaged Vile, the firepower and shockwaves of the battle would've killed them anyway. But now their Captain was in danger, and they couldn't just standby. As Kaiju drew close, she brushed her silver hair out of her eyes, and held her hands out. Her body began to glow with bright blue energy. An intense level of psychic energy well beyond her regular energy levels. She held her hands out to Vile, her eyes flashing bright gold as she attempted to construct an Imprisonment Ball around her opponent, and another around Kamui, the golden spheres of energy serving to separate the pair, and prayerfully keep the Heran from moving. "Leave him! You have already won" Meanwhile, Krayt and Amon-Ra appeared by Kamui's side, Amon-Ra holding his spear out defense of his captain. For a moment, the Heran Lieutenant stared deeply into Vile's eyes. "We will take him away from here." Amon-Ra spoke calmly. Post Count: 14 | T

“Ohhhhhhhh my god.” Vile palmed his face as the psychic barrier enveloped him.
Of all the times they came to help him, they decided to do so when Kamui made another poor decision. All things considered, the Heran had been absurdly nice. He gave a warning to the bounty hunters at the beginning of the fight, allowed them to take a few free hits at him while he was not trying, and all throughout the exchange he littered sentiments which may allow them to escape if only they showed some form of decency.
Now? Now all he felt was complete and utter dismay at how idiotic the troupe of clowns made themselves present. Their leader was no better in any sense.
His right index finger lifted up and pointed at each individual kneecaps of every warrior. One. After. Another. One after another, he shot out a multitude of harsh, piercing rays to pierce out and disable the foes one by one. Even the bubble failed to contain him- it being popped during the first beam made.
“I reject this.” He stood upright and straight. They were practically asking to be killed by this point. “You could have just lied to me and say you’d be on your merry way.” That the Frost Demon could have. If he swallowed his pride for a few seconds, the entire troupe might not have been in trouble now.
“In fact, I expected that to happen.” Admission of the flaw in his own request. Kamui could have lied to him without any problems at all. “But hey, FOLLOW through with a threat why don’t you?” A death threat at that. Classic.
“Fair warning. Everything that is about to happen is on your hands.” He floated above the disabled people. The tip of his right index finger lit up with a blinding sphere.

Of course, in light of the massive power and reflex gap between the combatants, Kaiju and the other Lieutenants held no chance, the three combatants immediately falling to their knees, grunting in pain. The battle was more then over now, Kamui just wished he would hurry and end this instead of lecturing them all day long while building up to what he was going to do regardless. To Kamui, Vile had this intent from the beginning. In his mind, it was only natural. When hunting, the hunt could go either way, and neither would spare the lives of the other if they lost. To him, it was how it worked. He had lost the battle, and as such expected to die, for otherwise it would've been Vile in a similar position. So why march to the grave with false statements? "You could've escaped. They're right there. The energy shield wouldn't have held up had you waited." Kamui said quietly. Kaiju simply looked at him, but said nothing. All four of them then looked on, as expecting their fate. Kamui allowed a small smile to cross his face as Vile loomed over them, the energy sphere he was creating growing ever larger. It was hard to look upon him. And as it prepared to descend, the Changeling remained as resolute as ever. Don't posture around and lie....you were going to kill us all from the beginning. As the energy sphere are larger and larger; eventually reached the size of a small car; Vile too smirked at the changeling. He wanted to kill them- that much was uncontested. They tried to kill him, blew up his house, and the leader attempted to kick him in the groin. Those atrocities were not listed in order of importance, mind you. But that sequence of events was definitely the order that it took it. Perhaps they even deserved to die. The Heran had no idea what kind of crimes against humanity the lot committed before being trumped by him.
Was he any weaker, they surely would have killed him. Not that they did not try, but they were utter failures at doing so. Hence, a beam shot out.
Out and straight towards the dome, that is. The impact of his energy attack caused the hardened material to crack. Slowly but surely, this web of crumpling glass reached every corner of the hollow hemisphere. The Badlands shook harshly for the period where this dome remained severely damage while intact.
All at once, the seismic activity stopped and the material burst. Thousands upon millions of tiny, glimmering specks drifted down in a manner not too unlike gentle snowfall. Energy that was utilised in this structure perhaps. Whatever speculation one could bring to the table did not matter. Much like the murdering of this particular quartet. He did not need to do it. Hence, he did not.
“Stay here and bleed out or leave.” Vile shrugged his shoulders mildly. That was enough for him today. He began to think that killing them would only indulge the lot in some strange death wish. “I don’t care which,” he added at last as he floated up and out of sight.
“If you come after me again, next time I won’t be holding back.”
