At that moment, it entirely expected Frost to begin another assault upon it once more. Even the changeling itself would have a hard time believing what was said. If anything, this may have just sealed its fate. “Regardless, attempting to decipher what brought about my existence-”
In that instance, a legitimate semblance of fear was displayed. Pupils dilated ever so slightly as its tail ceased to move. Nothing quite like a healthy dose of an existential crisis to welcome any life-form into reality.

Colonel Frost's face formed a wince. Had the monstrosity simply stated that he doesn't know what his origins are, perhaps he might have been satisfied and went back to fighting. But no, it just had to state that it was speculating about his nature and that speculation disturbed him. This cunt has the power to destroy planets with the flick of his finger and yet he was disturbed by his thoughts? What kind of illogical decision is that?! The Colonel stepped forward and tapped on the creature's chest with his finger, saying: " Beat that rubbish mentality into submission. Five minutes ago, you were telling me that you are my son. And no son of mine is going to wet his pants in front of me just because they got a teeny tiny existential crisis." Frost stepped back. “My apologies.” Polite to a T, the Frost Demon spoke its part. “To be quite frank, it is of no random chance or evolutionary process for my presence to be brought into this reality. Following that train of thought, it means that someone or something far more powerful than I somehow managed to manipulate-”
It paused, lifting a finger up into the air to tap twice upon the front of its cranium.
“Or even more implausibly- break the fabric of ‘actuality’ itself.”
Strange? Yes.
Likely to be impossible? Oh absolutely.
Unbelievable as a concept in of itself? Not quite.
From the transformations, to the light-defying form, to the development of speech, the proposition did not seem as otherworldly as depiction without explanation. Though it did not manage to fully bring reason to the topics at hand, it did provide some level of context to what was happening all before one’s own eyes.

Right. Right right right right right.
So this creature's answer to how it came to be, how it was able to defy so many laws of physics and why was it exhibiting the traits it was exhibiting, was because somehow, somewhere, there was someone or something which had the ability to alter or simply defy the laws of physics. Reality itself, perhaps. And then, presumably, it created this creature as a source of amusement for itself.
Riiiiight.
That was as far fetched as explanations can go around these parts. What, was this a some sort of god pulling some strings behind his back? Colonel Frost didn't like this conclusion. Colonel Frost had fought gods before. They didn't seem to be that strong. At least, not reality-warping levels of 'strong'.
And then the unnamed changeling offered to take this conversation somewhere else. The Colonel raised his eyebrow. Under any normal circumstances, this would be a good offer. However, this creature seemed like it had nothing else to say or do. It didn't know anything, it didn't even have a history. Talking to it would just be a big chore.
"No. The rest is now up to you." Colonel Frost suddenly spoke, an aura roaring to life around his body, and suddenly flew into the horizon.
Would abandoning a creature with no identity and the power to destroy planets be a good idea? Probably. Eh, I'm sure it can't bite him in the ass.
