It was an odd sight to see the man that her former associate produced. She suddenly felt old, sensing that this boy had already been living for quite a few decades here in mortal land. However, his wisdom was still lacking in comparison to her own, and especially his father. Not only would Colt have to focus on training his body and energy, but he would need to think about expanding his mind. Devising strategies and knowing his opponent would only help him in combat; Kuueru always did diligent research on her target and her associates.
Colt found his way back to the sofa, and soon he was pulling the boots from his feet. Her eyes narrowed before searching for a digital clock upon the wall. It was already 9:30 and he was taking his shoes off. Was he expecting room and board for the night? She ignored the thought for now, as Colt brought up demonic contracts, which in fact existed. Though, her type of agreement was rather looseleaf.
“Yes, they are a thing, but no---I don’t like to hold people to things. I would just hope that if, say...I needed something in the future; be it money, be it companionship, be it a hired gun...you’d help me in return right?” Kuueru winked playfully towards the white-haired man before waltzing across the room to begin clearing up her dirty containers and plates. She tucked them all away in their appropriate places and stored any leftovers in the full-sized refrigerator provided.
Sleepily the demon walked back into the room while rubbing a single eye. She yawned and stretched once more, her already tall body seeming to grow by a few inches.
“I suppose there are pillows and blankets in the closet over there if you’re makin’ yourself at home,” The demon teased while pointing to a single door in the corner. There fresh linens were provided for extra guests. She wasn’t about to kick the man out, but she was not going to let him warm her bed. She waved a hand towards him, caring not if he agree to help her in the future or not; she was tired and full from all of her lavish dinner.
With a full mind and stomach, Kuueru laid herself to rest for the evening. Her dreams filled of sweats and beaches that were the most exotic.
