A brief respite. That was all this was. A moment to catch one’s breath before diving back into the tempest. Atreus sighed, breathing in and sampling the air of Kabocha. The world had become a battlefield of late, though it had been one that was to the benefit of Atreus and his friend Cam. The newly crowned Emperor of Kabocha was pleased with how the campaign has progressed, but Atreus senses the unrest in the man. It was an unrest that Atreus shared. Cam had once handily trounced Atreus and three others. Then, I’m a strange tournament, Atreus had proved the victor, having rapidly closed the gap in strength between the two. Now, the two men had each become vastly more powerful, and the warriors born could not help but want to clash once more. Atreus had located a large and apparently uninhabited island, and he had flown there in preparation. Afterwards, he had used his advanced AI to send a simple message to Cam; ”It’s on.” The brief missive had been followed by the coordinates of the island. Now, Atreus waited on that island, meditating as a tropical breeze carried the scent of sand and sea to the young powerhouse. Cam was apprehensive, though it was Duria who would vocalize it first, "I don't like this," he said during the flight towards the marked island. Weakness could not be displayed by Cam, not now and likely not ever if he wanted to maintain his position unchallenged. "You don't either," the saiyan murmured at his employer. Atreus was a friend though, and indeed Cam recalled their last two bouts. Something the human had done had increased his power vastly. Coca had insisted she and a squad of elite soldiers accompany the newly crowned emperor to make sure this wasn't some ploy to kill him, and while Cam had protested against it he knew he couldn't stop Coca. And so it was that a small air ship had been deployed with the emperor and his elite squad: Coca, Duria, Hureo, Deon, and Talfa. All of them piled out of the drop ship as it landed on the small island, Cam already suited for a suited for a fight he glanced at his companions, "Take it easy now. Atreus is a friend. He's a strong one too. This could be an opportunity to make myself stronger than ever," he knew they would all be nervous, ready to jump in, but they would wait until signaled to intervene. That handled, Cam stepped forward to meet Atreus, "I must say, I never got the chance to thank you for everything you did on Kabocha for me Atreus. I don't think we could have pulled this off without you," he paused, "Not to mention the sudden appearance of Polaris? Eugh. I thought that was going to get bad when he showed up," he paused, glancing over at Atreus with a know smile on his features, "It's lucky he doesn't consider either of us a threat to him, hrm?" his tone dripping with an unsaid implication that Atreus might somehow oppose the galactic empire. Atreus rolled his neck from right to left, and it popped loudly. He couldn't keep himself from quirking an eyebrow at the Emperor's entourage; many of them were people that he knew, and rather liked. He'd had a drink with them on more than one occasion. Today, though, they were all business; he and Cam were here to have a brawl, but they wouldn't let Atreus try anything that would risk Cam's life. He had no intention of doing so, of course, but he understood Coca and the rest's apprehension. Atreus nodded along to Cam's thanks, but mostly shrugged it off. "Hey, we're friends. And you would have done the same for me. Here's what I'm worried about though... that we're not going to be enough.
It's like you said with Polaris. There are other powerful, dangerous people out there. Hell, the Saiyans haven't even sent their strongest to try to take back what they think is theirs yet. They have Super Saiyans out there, and we need to be ready. That's why I need you to hit me as hard as you can."Atreus focused for a moment, and in a burst of power, he transformed, electric ki pulsing throughout his being, turning his hair white and causing it to stand on end from the static. "You know... I have you to thank for this. All those months ago, at the Crusher Corps... you were my wall. You were what I aspired to. I feel like by pushing each other, we can reach entirely new heights, and make sure that what we hold dear can't be threatened by anyone else. So thanks... and let's do this! Friday, give us a groove."Atreus' AI, Friday, began playing an epic classic rock song. Then Atreus booted up Friday's combat protocols, summoning a suit of armor that, while still powerful, did not look like his Heimdall persona; he didn't want to give quite that much away to Cam, yet. He He held out his hand and beckoned Cam to make his attacks.

At being coined an inspiration for Atreus' power the Kabochan chortled with laughter, "You trying to flatter me now Atreus? That would almost work. You're right though, it's good to have someone on the level who can compete. You're also right about the Dominion. I'm trying to goad their strongest out. Preferably to defeat them in combat, I've stood toe to toe with super saiyans before. Kicked Dain's ass at least," he bobbed a shoulder, "You're right though. I'm at a ceiling and I need to break through it, otherwise this is all for naught and they'll find some powerful Saiyan to kill me I imagine. To that end." Cam burst forwards at Atreus, "Lets do this!" Not shying away from any close conflict, he was on Atreus as quick as his body would allow. Trying to swing a hefty sledgehammer down at Atreus from behind, before he unleashed a flurry of blows, intermingled within them was the occasional burst of golden or red energy either as a burst towards Atreus or a small orb of ki thrown at close range. His attacks had certainly sped up, but the question was would it be enough to do some damage to Atreus? Their last bout had been a shameful display on his part and he intended to remedy any contrary opinions about his power. His style certainly was unique, keeping close to his enemy but rather than pummeling with fists and close range ki orbs and bursts, ki orbs twisting and twirling around Atreus and strikes with his fist projected outward with his energy and use of his psychic abilities, it added a short range to each of his attacks and Cam was more than happy to capitalize on turning a missed orb of ki or making one of his fists strike with much more impact. He had become a rare psychic warrior, able to make his energy manifest in unseen and hard to detect ways, some Atreus had not yet seen from the Kabochan. Cam had come to play seriously. That was good; Atreus was not messing around either. He could have avoided all of the attacks, if he so desired, but this was why he had armored up in the first place; he wanted to take a few hits, feel Cam's power firsthand. The Kabochan's fighting style reminded Atreus of his bouts with the spirit shaman, Netto White; Atreus had had to predict where his energy projections would land, then try to dodge them accordingly. It had at first been a nightmare, but Atreus supposed he now owed Netto a beer... or some peyote, or something, whatever a shaman wanted to get his inebriation on. Atreus dodged the first strike, was struck by the second, dodged the third, and was hit once more by the fourth. It was impressive; there was a huge power disparity between the two men at present, but Cam was still managing to hit him. Then again, the man's offense had always been impeccable. "Nice," Atreus grunted, as his armor began showing signs of wear, "Now it's my turn! Get ready!"A stark white aura surrounded Atreus, and he blazed forward, impossibly fast. He targeted the meat of Cam's left thigh with a right round kick, hoping to damage the muscle and buckle his leg. Atreus then flipped out another round kick, without putting his leg down, this one aimed at Cam's temple. Atreus then dashed forward, launching a short, compact punch towards Cam's solar plexus while charging a ki blast in his other hand. After his punch, Atreus shot his ki blast towards the new Emperor. Suddenly, a small missile launcher appeared at the shoulder of Atreus' armor; Friday provided her own assistance, launching an anti-personnel missile at Cam.

Atreus delivered an a formidable onslaught of attacks, though it seemed most of it was mitigated. The Kabochan's hands coming up to redirect or soften attacks, his armored hands putting up a decent defense against this new energy Atreus was bringing forward, in a flash of ki Cam had engulfed his body in a field of energy that weighed and slowed Atreus attacks to the point of them being negligible for the most part, though a solid jab to his solar plexis was delivered all the same. He didn't let that slow him down, in fact he fully intended to pay the human back in kind, flourishing a hand forward and shouting with a sudden purple burst of ki as a whirling torrent of ki energy sprayed forward and detonated, the burst meant to breakdown any stalwart defenses Atreus clung to before taking full advantage of this potential to gain some momentum, a pair of small energy orbs hurled forward, whipping around erratically, whirling past Atreus only to detonate directly behind him, an attack meant to blow him forward as Cam thrust one augmented fist forward, then showed off just how flexible he was with a psychic empowered sky kick, his force crushing forward with his will, Cam didn't even need to touch Atreus to do damage though any solid connection would be truly brutal. He couldn't afford to give up and he couldn't afford to not give it his all. Those watching were brimming with anticipation, scouters detected power levels but soldier's watched in awe as their Emperor despite facing a much stronger power level, appeared to be holding his own. For now. Cam's purple burst of energy caught Atreus off guard, and he crossed his arms in front of him, blocking what he could of the explosion. His armor showed a few more scratches, but still held. When he spoke, though his face was concealed behind a helm, his tone could not possibly be mistaken; he was having fun."You know, the last time we fought, I think you threw a space station at me? That was pretty cool. It seems like your technique has really been refined since then," Atreus remarked, "You've got much finer control of your energy. It's pretty impressive...
But I hope you don't think you can beat me so easily."Atreus gathered himself, readying for his next sequence of attacks. "Friday, increase gauntlet weight by fifteen percent."Friday responded, and Atreus felt his hands grow heavier... hopefully that would add a bit of impact to his strikes. Atreus dashed forward, ki blast gathering in his right as he closed the distance. As Atreus got close, he fired the ki blast at the ground, using the momentum to propel himself into the air. He twisted and flipped, over Cam, and as he performed this acrobatic maneuver, he began shooting rapid fire ki blasts that Cam could not hope to avoid. Landing, Atreus dashed forward towards Cam's back. He led with a shoulder charge, designed to send the Kabochan sailing forward. He would then rapidly move to the front of Cam's path, meeting his stomach with another powerful punch. A rising knee to the chin, designed to send Cam flying up into the sky would follow, where Atreus would attempt to meet him with a powerful double axe handle to send him sailing back to the ground in painful fashion.

Atreus seemed to forget Cam could see so many things most of his foes couldn't, hell he could see the flow of energy inside his combatants as well as himself as though it were a soft glow in their blood. When Atreus moved, Cam was ready, and when his attacks became weighted Cam noticed, responding in kind with his own energy, weaving a shield of psychic pressure around himself that put much more resistance into Atreus attacks as though he were trying to punch through water. Be that as it may, it only slowed him down, it didn't stop Atreus and his attacks landed, cracking Cam's armor and sending him staggering, though it didn't seem to do much more than piss the Kabochan off. Lifting off the ground he sped towards his foe, both hands raising. He would wait until he was right on Atreus before he changed his trajectory at the last second, spearing upwards into the sky two red orbs of ki would spark and crackle in his palms as he spiked them down directly at Atreus, each orb overcharged with power and again would strike with immense weight given a form far too small to contain it. The orb detonating once they contacted either with the ground around Atreus or the fighter himself, one thing was for certain though, neither fighter would have wanted to get caught in such a blast. Atreus was grinning like a madman behind his helm. Just as he had hoped, his attacks seemed to incite Cam to even greater combat strength, and the Kabochan rushed forward, hefting two massive orbs of ki at Atreus. Atreus had seen Cam use this move before; it was his famed Crusher Orb. Atreus had felt it's power on more than one occasion, and even as powered up as he was, he didn't want to get hit by them. Quickly analyzing the attacks as they moved in, Atreus saw only one safe avenue of avoidance, which was moving forward and through them. In a daring maneuver, Atreus launched himself forward, rotating his body so that he was perpendicular to the ground. He just managed to pass through the overly dense ki attacks, feeling their heat as he moved. They struck the ground where Atreus had been, ripping up the terrain fiercely. Atreus righted himself, then once more, sped up his movement with ki and launched a series of attacks at Cam. Atreus led with a couple of ki blasts of his own; not nearly as powerful as Cam's Crusher Orbs, but as strong as Atreus was, a regular ki blast from him could probably crack the planet in two if he wasn't careful about how he shaped them; they weren't things you wanted to get hit by. Atreus fired one and then the other at the Kabochan. Atreus followed his ki blasts in, leading with a heavy body blow to Cam's already damaged armor and following up with a vicious hook aimed at Cam's jaw.

While the fight being put up was solid in most standards, it wasn't enough now. Cam gritted his teeth as he knew he would pay for missing those crusher orbs, Atreus closing in. a pair of orbs smacking into Cam's body, his armor starting to break further and a slice had opened along his forehead. A dip in a medical bay would mean Cam would be right as rain by tomorrow, but right now the pain was catching up to him. He whirred out of the way of the first body blow but that unfortunately landed him in the next, the Kabochan gasping for air as the wind was knocked out of his and he could hear the cracks of his armor as it buckled under the stress of Atreus' blows. However Cam reached down with his left had, gripping onto Atreus outstretched arm as tightly as he could, one could see the fire ignite in Cam's eyes as energy surged all around him as his right hand leveled upwards at his hip. His palm straightened and four orbs of ki materialized, one at each tip of his fingers. Combining his ki with his physical strikes to augment them further he knifed his hand forwards rapidly, aimed for four distinct spots on Atreus body, starting low and going upwards Cam would strike for Atreus' right thigh, then his kidney, then up to his solar plexis and finally for the chin, with each hit that connected a small explosion of ki and psychic energy would detonate. Cam needed to regain momentum and he needed to now, otherwise this fight was already lost, and he wagered, Atreus knew that as well as the emperor did. Then again, that was why they were training. Atreus dodged and weaved, managing to avoid all of Cam's strikes... until the very last one. Finally, the Kabochan seemed like he would be able to connect with a vicious strike. Atreus, however, saw it coming; his perception was unmatched, and he was able to move with the strike as it connected, avoiding any real damage. Atreus went with the momentum of the strike, allowing the uppercut to send him flying backwards. He tucked and flipped in the air, landing lightly on his feet. As soon as he touched down, he immediately surged forward once more, trails of dust kicked up in his wake. "Nice shot," Atreus said, complimenting his friend's ability to land a strike despite such a significant power gap, "I definitely would have felt that one if I hadn't moved!"It could have come across as mocking, but that was certainly not the intent, and Cam and Atreus knew each other well enough to avoid such misunderstandings. The truth was, Atreus was, according to the newly christened Galactic Empire Threat Scale, very nearly an S-Class threat in terms of his power level. For Cam to be able to land such a powerful shot, despite the power disparity... Well. Atreus had been where Cam was before, and he knew that soon enough the Kabochan would join him at these heights of power. As he closed with Cam, Atreus stepped in with a side kick, aimed to double the Kabochan over. He followed his attack up with a spinning sweep; regardless of if it knocked Cam down or not, Atreus spun and followed through with an ax kick that would be far more devastating if Cam was on the ground.

Cam had nothing left other than to take what punishment Atreus dished out. His armor starting to break off in chunks and shattered shards, his body beneath it feeling the impact of each blow that Atreus landed against him, though in the midst of staggering back away from the shots, Cam slipped something in his mouth, the sound of a sharp crunch between his teeth, it sounded almost as if he had chewed on a piece of glass, a burst of restorative energy washing through his body as the edges of Cam's vision began to blot and he saw speckles and distortions. Both hands raising up there was a heavy charge up., crackling red and gold energies swirling around his body he exchanged no words, concentrating deeply as once against two bursts of energy spat forward towards Atreus. At this point, getting able to do damage to Atreus would be a victory, his defense seemed simply too high to deal with, however Cam wasn't about to give up. Both orbs blasting forward he loosed a shout deep from within his lungs as the red burst of energy was bright enough to blot out all other sources of light, Cam's friends having to cover their eyes as the burst was ignited. When it was over, Cam would be left with his hands still smoking and his chest rising and falling. Bleeding cuts and scrapes and broken armor still clinging to his body, he glanced towards his foe, his scouter chattering information at him. He had gone on the offense too quickly or not quickly enough, he knew that much. Cam was proving to be a tough but to crack. Then again, Atreus already knew that his friend was no easy mark. Much like when he had fought Dain Sincara, though... much when Atreus himself had been pushed on the forsaken planet of Drexgs... Atreus could sense that his friend was close, close to a breakthrough. A breakthrough that would bring him to lofty new heights of power, once reserved only for the likes of Saiyans. As Cam's friend, Atreus was only too happy to take it upon himself to provide a little push in the right direction. Once again, it seemed like Atreus would be left with no escape, but his perceptions and reflexes sped up once more. Time seemed to dilate, and he swayed with Cam's attack, effectively avoiding the damage and saving the integrity of his armor. Atreus began to get back into the flow of combat, and his own movements began to speed up once more. "You're stronger than this," Atreus said. "I know what you might be feeling... like there's this well of strength, of power, right next to you... but you just can't reach it. Nurse that feeling... let it grow into anger, let it fuel you and break through your shell, Cam!"As he attempted to motivate his companion, Atreus launched himself forward with a dazzling attack; he leaped forward, spinning in the air and launching a hook kick. Using his ki to control his movement, after the first attack, Atreus would spin around and kick twice more, each blow infused with ki. Atreus was trying to bring Cam as close to unconsciousness as he could... in Atreus' experience, being severely pressured could bring about the desperate energy needed to break through to the next level.

It was ironic that Atreus should start talking about some font of power within Cam, because as a matter of fact, he didn't feel a burst of power, or any well near him. He just felt himself, and the independent wells he could draw upon. He simply had access to all forms of ki that were spanning his reality, if he could concentrate enough he could gather it all, coalesce it into his attacks. The first hook shot landed, sending Cam sprawling though the follow up kick was guarded reflexively. The trouble was Atreus kept his power compacted and down, if Cam had access to it he could turn Atreus own power back on him and this fight would be his, he would have to change how he wielded his energy. Standing where he was three invisible fists would jam at Atreus, hoping to uppercut the warrior then give him two quick and precise body blows, hopefully killing some of the warriors momentum. The scouter had cracked on Cam's head, the lens becoming obstructive so Cam, between heavy breaths, reached up and plucked the machine off his head, crushing it in his palm before he loosed his series of attacks at Atreus, could he see or detect psychic energy the same way Cam could? So far it had seemed not to matter, though the warlord got no indication that Atreus was able to see his energies or abilities, just that he was simply too quick to catch in a hit sometimes. Atreus watched as Cam continued to absorb punishment. By Atreus' estimation, he was almost badly hurt enough for Atreus to... no. No, Cam was his friend, and he had not yet perfected his new technique. When it was ready, it would imprison even the strongest foe without killing them... but if Atreus made a mistake in shaping the ki for the technique, he might inadvertently kill his foe. He had not practiced the move enough to want to use on a friend. Atreus flowed through Cam's attacks once more, though the last psychic strike did manage to land and chip away most of Atreus' remaining armor. Enough still remained to blunt the next strike he would receive, and Atreus picked up his speed once more, though he could tell that Cam was nearing the end of his rope. Though his words were meant for Cam, they applied to Atreus, as well. He could feel himself getting stronger, getting closer to... something. And even deeper well of power. Atreus shook his head, trying to clear it. For a moment, he thought he could actually see all of the ki flowing through Cam's body. For an instant he perceived it as a vast network of energy, and could actually tell where he would have to strike Cam to stop the flow... or release some stored energy in a massive flood. And then it faded. Frustrated, Atreus surged forward, taking some of his annoyance out on his friend. He launched a white ball of ki ahead, then followed up with a quick jab cross combination as he closed with Cam.

Crack! The sound of another strike colliding with Cam's failed armor and his body, though it hadn't failed him yet. The pain from Atreus' opening ki orb motivating Cam to dodge the second combination more thoroughly, though the last strike in the pattern still landed. Pain brought clarity that brought Cam to reply, the energy still warping and distorting the air and fields of gravity around his body as he retaliated, a flurry of angry strikes sent in Atreus direction though the martial artist had only just started to display a pattern, Cam able to see the ebb and flow of his power, his defensive tendencies currently rising. Cam knew the retaliation was expected, but he didn't see much else of an option, supercharged fists whirring at speeds any normal person wouldn't be able to perceive. But then again, Atreus was far from a normal person. "Kick his ass!" Talfa called, though they all could see how ragged their emperor was looking after such a battle. Atreus was a rogue element--one that was on his side luckily, but in a one on one fight he had surpassed Cam, through sheer amount of grit and effort as well as mechanical augmentations, but the power was his to command. The Emperor growled with the realization--he would need to find another source of power that could match this, if he ever fought Radia, if he ever fought Polaris, if he ever truly needed to fight Atreus he would simply need more to bring to bear. Despite the damage he had taken, Cam remained standing. His soldiers cheered him on, attempting to motivate their battered leader. It was admirable; Cam had clearly won their loyalty, and that was to be respected. That alone, however, would not be anywhere near enough to turn the tide of the battle against someone like Atreus. Cam continued to launch his attacks, but Atreus was simply too quick. He couldn't explain exactly how he dodged; it was more of a sixth sense, a sort of hyper battle awareness, than anything he could consciously control. But Atreus could still predict where the attacks would come from, and move accordingly to avoid any damage. Just let go, a voice in his head seemed to say. But it wasn't his voice... it wasn't even his master's. It was Zakael's. Don't try to climb to the precipice. You must surrender to overcome.The entire philosophy of Zakael's. That surrender to the flow of things, not imposing your will but accepting all outcomes, was the key to fullness of person. Why was it intruding now? But... Atreus knew better than to ignore his inner thoughts. He breathed, in and out, closing his eyes. And when he opened them... he saw Cam. Like liquid fire, Atreus could actually see the ki move around Cam's body... and he could see points where, if struck, just so... There.Atreus did not surge forward as before, with aggression or frustration, but instead, calmly moved, his hands relaxing. He struck now with folded knuckles and spear hand strikes, aiming for pressure points that would disrupt Cam's ki flow and leave him, for a short time, unable to bring more ki to bear against Atreus.

The Kabochan didn't have any idea of what was occurring, he knew Atreus had abilities far beyond that of a normal human, but to think he could see energy in a way much similar to Cam wasn't something the Kabochan had prepared for. Both his hands raised skyward as he manifested a massive red orb of ki, about to bombard Atreus with such an attack, though Cam's eyes went wide and bulged with the reaction of pain. He heaved as he felt each of his pressure points struck and cut off, a part of his body shutting down, the ki he had manifested falling away as Cam dropped to his knees, his body felt an electric numbness throughout it as he dropped to his knees, his motor functions scrambled for a time it seemed, Humans could manipulate and use Ki, but Cam? It was as much a part of his abilities as it was his life energy, scrambling that gave the kabochan heart palpitations, the scouters worn by his men giving erratic measurements. The squad would intervene in a flash, one of them administering medical attention while two others intervened to block Atreus off from Cam so he could do no further harm, ready to fight if need be though both weren't nearly as strong as their Emperor had been, "Stand down," Coca said to their men, "Atreus is no threat to the Emperor. We need to bring him back to the Flagship though." Lieutenant Coca stepped closer now, eyeing over Atreus with a scrutinizing gaze. How he had gotten so strong so quickly was beyond her, or anyone else in their group it seemed, the three elite soldiers quickly moving to take Cam on board the skiff they had arrived on. It had been on, and now it was off. He would recover though, Cam had been beaten worse and survived, "Need a ride?" Coca asked then, glancing back in the direction of the skiff. She never understood it, the constant need for some to push themselves in combat to a point of breaking.

Atreus shrugged over at Coca. "Sure, I'll take it," he said, honestly grateful that Coca had asked. He wasn't tired, but going along with them would go a long way in not alienating him from Cam's closest allies. Atreus boarded the skiff and, as he watched Cam, and how the ki within him ebbed and flowed, and was blocked where he had struck. He was being given some basic medical attention, but... Atreus could see what he had to do. "Stand back," he said, his tone requesting and not demanding, as he looked Coca in the eye. "I know how to help... to undo what I did."Coca stared at Atreus for a long moment... then nodded. After all, he had proved himself a staunch ally at this point. "Let him work," she said, and her subordinates responded. Atreus jabbed a few of Cam's pressure points once more, and it had the desired effect. Cam's ki began to flow normally once more. The new Emperor's heart would soon return to a normal rhythm... but he would probably feel like crap for an hour or so. "Sorry about that," Atreus said, "I thought it would just cut your ki off for a while. I'm pretty sure it would have, if you were human... I guess I still have a lot to learn about Kabochans. But I'm wondering... if I can see ki flow and inhibit it... can I also amplify it?"Atreus trailed off slightly at the end, the implications of such an act stealing his attention for a moment. Then he focused, looked over at Cam and smirked. "I'd offer to clue you in once I figure it out, but considering the unintended effects of what I just did, I don't know if that's such a good idea."

With the flow of ki returned Cam was able to relax, though things would take time to adjust. Kabochans had few basic needs to survive, able to go hours without oxygen, weeks without water and months without food. An efficient killing machine built for resilience, but that resilience came at the price of Ki energy, nearly every member of Cam's species could learn to fight with Ki and most had a pretty firm understanding of being able to generate energy within their bodies. Atreus didn't know it but while Cam was out a sort of rebooting process was taking place. All the data his brain had taken in was being hyper-analyzed, and countermeasures taken. Where too much energy had been exerted or wasted in an attack, how to be more efficient and effective, and when Cam came too he simply would be a better, stronger fighter. Unlike Saiyans who simply gained raw power when they recovered, Kabochans gained a more refined perspective and greater understanding of both their and their enemies energies. Cam had been shown that a new plateau existed and he would naturally begin to search for another way, consciously and subconsciously, it was simply wired into every member of the Kabochan race with all they had suffered, even throughout the fight he had slowly regenerated and healed his wounds. Atreus likely hadn't noticed it yet, but he had never seen a disabled Kabochan, not once. This was because they had regenerative properties instilled into their bodies. A lost finger or even in some cases an entire limb would simply be able to be regrown. He would heal and his abilities would only be refined, even now his flow of ki energy was growing, if only by a small margin, though that showed that perhaps it could be widened, his body becoming a funnel for as much energy as Cam could conjure up at once. Perhaps if he survived into his thirties or forties he would attain this power naturally, though any Kabochan who had previously had long since left the planet behind. "What are you talking about then Atreus?" Coca asked towards the martial artist. She didn't know him well though she knew he was a competent fighter, and for a human he had become astronomically stronger, power that could level the ranges of a fabled hero known as Mister Satan. "So I guess the legends are true then? You're some kind of Hercule Satan figure?" Coca asked, "Humans are one of the most powerful races in the galaxy then, potentially." Glad that they were aligned. Atreus as an enemy could throw a wrench into any plans for the future.
