The demon realm. It wasn’t that much different than its mirror half of righteousness and calm. There is dirt, living beings, and some of the strongest fighters to grace the universe. The years that pass by of heroes training and honing their skills passed just the same in the realm of the demons. The only difference being the lifespan of the evil sibling is multiple times longer. Kuueru spent most of her time within the demon realm. With the Demon King’s ban on passing in and out of the land there was very little contact with the other side. However, that did not deter the wild fantasies that played themselves up within the demoness’ head. The thoughts quarreled and spelled vivid images of creating mischief in a world of boring people. How could they sit up there working their nine to five jobs and pretending to be content with the routine? Kuueru knew better. At least she thought she did. To be honest Kuueru had no idea of the literal shitstorm that was brewing in the parallel dimension. She sat up, her long tufts of brilliant pink hair flopped upon a peachy forehead. She had been practicing the magic for a while, but finally it came to her. Before her in the dust-littered mirror stood a moderately tall human. Her brilliant hues locked onto the girl's frame, the soft cheeks and supple warmth that filled her being. Kuueru appeared to be positively alive! “Hot damn!” The demoness hissed while flirting with her reflection for a brief moment. BAM!---BAM! The walls began to shimmy from the unknown force was causing the interruption to Kuueru's dress up game. Normally the boys in the bar upstairs weren’t that rowdy until a bit later. But no, again the ground shook, this time enhanced by a tremendous growl. The woman’s bright skin suddenly dulled, her hair turning an eerie pale blue and the ends a bright lavender. Her heart sunk at the vision of her natural form. “Two minutes that time. I’m never going to last up there…” She sighed, her fingers running through her hair and touching the black horns that sprouted from her scalp. That is, until another of the loud sounds from earlier jolted her back to reality. The demon huffed in annoyance before hi-tailing it up the clay stairs and out the entrance at the front of the bar. It was a heck of a demon, and one she knew well, Larry. She gazed up, thirty feet at least to meet the face of a massive demon. He was rotund, his gullet brushing with the small structures that lined the area. They crumbled. “Oh no….” The larger demon seemed to be asleep, his large eyelids tightly shut as he continued to make a ruckus in his unconscious state. A true testament of a demon’s goals, causing chaos effortlessly. An evil but content smile manifested on her dark stained lips. She one day wished she could do so much damage even awake. But first, she needed her next deal to go through. Sidetracked again she barely noticed the giant overgrown toenail coming towards her face. Hastily she ducked down, allowing the giant to keep walking down the pathway until he finally woke up. Or had an angry mob kill him. She shrugged off the thought, chuckling a bit before heading back into the gloomy light of the bar. Unlike the earth style which were filled with cheer and welcoming vibes, only a demon would want to be in this lair. She took a seat around a small round table and flagged down a succubus who looked like she made much of her currency here. “Coming right over bitch!” The other demon hissed back at Kuueru before walking to the bar and back with a drink already prepared. The scantily-clad demoness sat the glass upon the table and walked off. She was a childhood friend, someone with whom she used to prank the boys with. It was only natural that they berate one another when they had the chance. Kuueru sat up in her chair and recounted the conversations she had been engaging with the past few weeks. She had been fraternizing with an unknown male, his promises of guts and glory in the other dimension luring her in. He told her of easy money, power, and most importantly, freedom. She had long grown tired of the dungeon map that she called home. “Ahhh…” A hearty bellow exited the slender woman after she had downed the drink. It was soon replaced by another, and another. More and more of the demons around her exited the bar. The clocks on the walls all seemed to slow down. Soon the demoness was face first in the table, a soft snore humming from her lips. Kuueru tried her best to dream in this place, to keep her thoughts positive for the future. Whether she decided to go on a murder mission, or a friendship making spree. . .
