Deleted •	Post by Deleted on Oct 17, 2018 10:58:53 GMT -5 ▲ Opting to head home after suffering defeat for the first time since leaving Hell, Ookami wasted little time in blasting off toward Earth. Upon arrival he'd spend a full week binge drinking and having an overall blast with the Los Lobos gang, his crew since their childhood days. This however wasn't to drown his sorrows, as Ookami was far from down in the dumps, but rather to celebrate his new life and return. Yet, at the end of this bender Ookami's mind would again work toward pushing the White Wolf to hone his craft, fighting. He had lost and while acceptable it was to someone much weaker than himself, their tactical cunning and speed making quick work of the Earthling veteran. As such he was up at the crack of dawn, having sent out potential invites to strong Earthling warriors or fighters to come to the New Crane School for selective training. Not exactly meant to recruit, but rather offering people the chance at learning some new moves while also potentially teaching some new stuff. Whatever kind of rabble it might bring in, Ookami was confident only the strong would appear as the New Crane School was known to break the weak. Even going as far as to tap his military contacts Ookami would also send invitations to various soldiers, from powerful, but still lowly ranked Grunts to higher ranked officials as well. Selecting his own personal wing of the training academy Ookami would have already weeded out a couple of weaker, but still notable fighters, sending them to train with his elite Crane students while continuing to wait for a more worthy challenge for himself. The journey from Venus had been brief, and a regular military cruiser probably would've done the trick, but Josh never got the chance to use the ship anymore so he loved taking rides in it whenever possible. She was the command ship of his fleet, a symbol of what was on Venus, a reminder that, although it was small, Earth did have a military to be reckoned with. Although he probably did need to tone it down a little. This wasn't taxi after all, he could get in trouble if he used too much fuel. The invitation to visit the crane school for combat had peaked his interest. He was always looking for a fight, and although he'd trained at the kikoukenjutsu sword school, not any of the martial arts schools, he knew about their reputation just as well and was always up for a proper fight. Even without his sword he was still trained in martial arts, and combined with a bit of ki he could probably put up a fight. As the battleship drew near to the atmosphere, his shuttle sized transport ship launched from the hangar bay, guiding him into the lower atmosphere. From there he could simply fly to the school. Wouldn't take too much energy and, as long as he didn't raise his power too much, he wouldn't draw much attention. His red and black combat suit fixed itself into place over his body as the warrior sheathed his sword onto his back scabbard. He'd left Venus for this visit to the school. He hoped it was worth it. @li

Deleted •	Post by Deleted on Oct 19, 2018 10:41:52 GMT -5 ▲ Whomever had accepted his invitation would eventually encounter a pair of Ookami's entrusted "Fangs", or rather one of the Elites in the Crane School who's ideals and loyalties could be found within the White Wolf himself over the academy. One of these two students meeting up with the invitee would then telepathically inform Ookami of their arrival and then when they had arrived at the school itself, the Elites then leading the fighter to a secluded section of the building. This wing of the school was overseen by Ookami, being one of the only masters there and being without a Grand Master he had little to worry about in the form of unwanted attention or intruders. Picking the largest training room in his area for the sole purpose of the hidden talismans in the walls, ceiling, and floor, that absorbed excess Ki and concussive force to prevent damage to the interior as well as exterior of the building. While Ookami knew little to nothing about who he might be fighting he had at least taken in a few details about each potential opponent, as uninformative as these details might have been in any case. Regardless, weak or strong opponents the White Wolf was no stranger to underestimating his opponent/s from time to time be it willfully or not. Yet, some of his optional opponents he had better luck with in finding more about them, this being one of those lucky cases. Enter one Joshua, a military man hailing form Earth like Ookami. Learning about the lad from Ookami's own military contact, Commander Free, the older gentleman had informed the White Wolf that the soldier was more than that, bright and powerful to boot the Commander had nothing, but positives to list about the boy. Because of this Ookami was left eagerly awaiting the arrival, his pair of Elite students sliding open one of the bamboo and paper doors to the training room, letting Joshua in before closing the door behind him to afford further privacy. Eying the soldier from head to toe Ookami didn't find anything outright worth mentioning, even sniffing his scent and listening to his heart beat the White Wolf picked Joshua to be your average joe. Was he wrong? "Ayy', you that Joshua lad huh'? Commander Free speaks highly of ya' and that ol' grunts' word is worth his weight in gold ay'? So ya', you're here for some training, nothing outright special other than the opportunity itself, if ya' weren't told already, I'm Ookami one of the New Crane School's Masters. I'll try not to heat things up too quickly, but do keep me entertained ay' ay'?!" Grinning like the devil he was Ookami would quickly intensify his expression for a moment, his killer intent pouring out in a lone stare toward Joshua before the White Wolf began his attack. In a moment he vanished, in another he reappeared about five feet forward of where he had been, his hands outstretched and his fingers placed along the sides of his face. "SOLAR FLARE TIMES ONE HUNDRED, HYAAAH!!!!" Forcing his Ki outward and focusing on generating not only light, but heat as well Ookami would fill the plain white room with a blinding blue energy, threatening Joshua, but not himself. Whether this advanced variation of Solar Flare effected his foe or not Ookami was on the hunt still, lunging forward the remainder of the gap separating them he'd attempt to hit his opponent with a left jab before following it up with a simple right uppercut. Especially for a martial arts school, it stood out compared to most buildings on the planet. As the soldier approached the entrance he was approached by two figures, both of which seemed to be giving off a large amount of energy without Josh being able to sense exactly what they were made of. They were strong and disciplined fighters, the kind that Earth needed right now. The two took him through some of the busier areas of the school into a wing he didn't even know existed. He had a limited knowledge of this place to be fair, but it was far larger and more expansive than he had imagined it would be. As the bamboo door slid gracefully open as the soldier's mind raced. He was still getting back into the fighting life style, and he had no idea how this was going to go considering how wildly his last fight went. Still, he was glad he could be here for two reasons. One he'd get to test his abilities against someone at least as strong as he was if they were able to help maintain such a powerful martial arts school. The White Wolf was a name even Josh knew about. And second because he'd be able to see the kind of fighters Earth had to defend itself. The military was weak and broken, and if the empire's gaze should turn to Earth then they would need the aid of every capable fighter on the planet. Joshua's armour moved perfectly around his body as he stepped into the training room. What he saw in front of him was a muscled human figure with a power level far beyond his own. Still, Joshua wasn't one to back down from a challenge. "Yep, I'm him, in the flesh. Glad to see some of the other officers don't despise me then. Free's a good man, heard a lot about him." Josh scanned the room, scanned his enemy, and gathered his ki. He needed to know every possible movement that could be made if he was to win here. There was no chance of him winning a war of attrition, so he'd have to rely on his own martial arts to fight back. "Heat things up? Don't worry about that, I'm sure this training room can withstand far more than I'm capable of. Why don't I show you my own style of martial arts." The soldier drew his sword from his back, the blade hissing as it tasted the air. His fighting style may be different to that of the other martial artists, but many great warriors had utilized swords just as effectively as ki in the past. Wasn't like he had a choice anyway since he couldn't fire blasts or beams. "Alright, how does this work. Do you start or do I? I mean if you don't want to, I'm more than happy to-" SOLAR FLARE TIMES ONE HUNDRED The blinding light flooded the room, incapacitating Josh and distracting him from the fight. "Ah shit!" He shouted as the bright attack ripped into him. He had to act fast, gathering his energy in a rapid counter. He'd trained for this on Venus in the past when he mastered a simpler version of the technique himself, and had a way to counter it. He white aura turned a crimson red as his power rose and formed a protective shield around him, blocking out just enough light for Joshua to be able to dive away from the enemy's first attack, meaning it only grazed him rather than hitting directly. The second did find its mark however, but Josh's aura continued to protect him from much of the power he could sense inside it. "So that's how we're playing it huh?" He said, detaching his helmet and dropping it to the ground. It'd just get in his way in here. "Well then, you better not hold back!" With that he charged, gathering his energy for an assault with his ki-forged sword. Caliburn shone with the reflection of his aura as a barrage of blows shot out from the soldier into the martial arts master in front of him, which he finished with a final strike straight towards his opponent's chest. These attacks wouldn't kill him, there was no chance of that, but he was still throwing all his energy into this fight. He didn't really have a choice about that. His pinkish-crimson eyes hadn't paused for a moment, incessantly tracing every movement no matter how minor that Joshua made. From his avoidance of true harm in the wake of the Solar Flare x100 as well as his resilience toward Ookami's opening melee. Further inspired and thrilled by the soldier's choice of weapon, a sword, Ookami would begin to clap his hands letting Joshua bolster his power before counter attacking then. Hissing in glee he'd wave on Josh during the soldier's opening rush, summoning his own blade the Sword of Kladenets, a weapon forged in the fires that birthed the Brave Sword herself, the forefather to the latter even. The hulking cleaver would be used by Ookami to outright shield himself from his opponents attacks though he had let Josh's first sword strike land. The cut visibly healing along the White Wolf's cheek as he let his sword vanish from sight, the mysterious markings on his arms/hands fading as swiftly as they had appeared. "Yeah, yeah! You're a bright one indeed, make me bring out the Sword of Kladenets and keep er' out for the remainder of the spar and ya' know you're top tier bub'! But as for now spits you've still got some room for improvement, but ey' so do I!" Clapping his hands together one last time he'd mix his Ki with his magical energies, whispering a long lost spell, summoning forth two ghastly Hellhounds he'd send toward Josh. Using them as a distraction he'd chuckle to himself, proceeding to fire off a scattering barrage Dodon Ray before rushing in for another melee. Whether the hounds or his Dodon Rays had hit the soldier Ookami was hot on his foe, quickly initiating a Wolf Fang Fist, throwing punches, chops, palm thrusts, kicks, etc. before ending the combo with an attempted flying knee while howling aloud. Somewhat an attack, somewhat a trick Ookami would then swiftly open up his legs, throwing them up and around his target if he was able to. This was the White Wolf's attempt at a flashy flying triangle choke submission hold. If Josh took the time he'd come to notice each physical attack had been tainted with a visible dark purple mist like energy, but what was it? Just for show? His sword had found its mark initially but his opponent hadn't appeared to take any major damage, and the second strike had failed to land after his opponent dived out of the way. "Damn, you're fast. I can tell this fight's gonna be tough." Josh tried to prepare for the incoming attacks, gathering his aura in the same way as last time, but his enemy was so fast that the soldier had to use a large amount of energy just to keep up. His aura and energy helped protect him as the first series of attacks found their mark, and he just about managed dived out of the way of the master's knee. Although he tried to keep up this speed his power gave out and his opponent managed to hit him with a choke hold. The soldier let his red ki blast out in all directions, diving back from the hold and knocking his opponent back, allowing him to gain some ground. "Huh. So this is a pretty one sided fight. Guess I better just see how long I can last." He closed his eyes, taking a moment to gather his energy and heal. There was no reason to change his plan at the moment, not while his power stayed at this level. It wouldn't last long, so he'd have to try and break through his opponent's defense before the power up gave out. In a flash he moved again, trying to avoid his opponent's blade and find a mark with his own. Following this he moved in with his empty left hand and launched a powerful punch towards his opponent's head. Why did Josh always have to be so outclassed. Was he that rusty? No, his time in Hell had been well served, he was just facing a new guard of warriors, a shift in the tides if you would. And like them he had to adapt, until then however he'd have to hunker down, grit his teeth if he were to evolve too. Caught up in this thought process before Joshua's explosive red Ki sent the unsuspecting White Wolf flying upward and toward the far West wall. Catching himself and using Ki to glue his body to the white wall he had been thrown to, Ookami would chuckle to himself, despite what Josh had to say, the wolifsh Human was already impressed. "Don't put yourself down kid, you're already entertainin' meesa! Huhu!" BOOM! The next thing he knew, Ookami had closed his eyes during his hearty laughter leaving him wide open, his throat was cut at, while saving himself from severe harm he had been wounded. This was due to Josh's Ki making it hard for Ookami to regenerate immediately, slowing it notably due to the nature of the attack using energy. Nonetheless biting his lip and jumping out of the way of Josh's next attack, a punch, he'd flex his entire form then, a ghoulish off-green aura surrounding him, allowing him to buffer further future damage if need be, though his wound would sting regardless. "Takin' my head off aint gonna' do ya' no good' ere', the boys outside the door might well just crush your skull with their bare hands if ya' do bub'!" Snickering to himself as Ookami felt no ill will toward his sparring partner, he'd enter his next attack sequence. Rushing Josh from the front he'd then dash from left to right, stopping at the last moment to reappear in front of the soldier. Attempting to claw at him from shoulder to hip with his left hand/nails Ookami would turn on his heel at the same time, trying then to preform an acrobatic pelee kick, a back-flipping maneuver. Before then appearing behind Joshua the opening he sought to unload another Wolf Fang Fist barrage aimed at his opponent's back and shoulders. If that Wolf Fang Fist had found its mark he would've been too damaged to keep going. Although the following strikes did find their mark, Josh was left standing, and he felt his energy swell as his energy recovered and his health was restored. He'd taken damage but he was still in this fight, still able to keep going in this training match. He wouldn't last much longer, but at least it wouldn't end here. "You're strong. I think I've been beaten by stronger, but I'm still pretty impressed. I just hope if the Earth's ever in danger you're on my side and not whoever I'm fighting at the time. But right now you're forcing me to my limit, so thank you. Fighting people that can demolish me is the best way for me to improve." Josh gathered himself for one last assault, going for a single furious strike towards the center of Ookami's mass. He needed to try and turn the tables with a lucky strike. A direct attack, but a swift one mixed with a moment of subterfuge, one allowing Joshua to again cut Ookami clean, this time along his torso. Ookami's new wound would run from between his pecs to just above his bellybutton. Hissing, but with a tad of excitement blended in, from the pain he'd nonetheless stand his ground, clapping in open applause to the mighty soldier before him. His exterior Ki keeping him from bleeding out as his rejuvenation proved to be ailed by Joshua's own potent energy. "I gotta' admit it, you're crazy good bub'!" If those attacks found their marks then Josh would be toast. He couldn't keep fighting, and he definitely couldn't win. Not without a miracle. Still, his pride wouldn't allow him to back down until he was fully out of energy. He'd fight till the end. "Keep those attacks coming! Let's see what I can take." The blinding flash of light was bad enough, but the attacks that followed were even worse. Josh could see he wouldn't get a chance to fight back. He had to put everything he had into escaping and dodging the oncoming attacks. The wolf fang fist that came first was already intimidating enough, and while he couldn't see it he could sense the massive energy, allowing him to dodge out the way of it. The next attacks all found their marks, and he could feel wounds open up as his body struggled to keep up with the oncoming attacks. Once again Josh took a moment to heal, but wasted no time in counter attacking with his own super attack. Sure he wanted the spar to continue, he wanted to train with the soldier endlessly if possibly, but Ookami knew he couldn't keep going.... Not on the New Crane School grounds, one to maintain the interior integrity of the school, two to keep his savage instincts in check, and three, part of the latter, he didn't want to end up tearing his partner to pieces if he did lose himself. Momentarily his expression would become serious as Joshua told Ookami to keep throwing attacks before the lad attacked the wolf himself. Watching with lusting eyes while remaining in place he'd sway back and forth to avoid the soldier's sword swinging onslaught only to reappear behind him. Left hand extended the ring worn on Ookami's left thumb would begin to glow black and purple, overcoming the jewelry's natural platinum colour. Seeking to ail Joshua with the energy Ookami had been flooding into the soldier's body during their physical exchanges he'd flick his wrist, further activating his Demon Ring while speaking calmly, focusing his breath to recuperate. "Haha, I love it bub'! But, I gotta' say, I wasn't expecting someone like you to show up! You're strong! We're some big dogs ay'? And big dogs shouldn't play in doors, say we continue this another time elsewhere? Some of these bridies round' here like to chirp ya' dig?" Lowering his hand then and ending his spell Ookami would proceed to call forth his last two Hellhounds, the two beasts nigh cuddling the White Wolf as they swirled around him, snuggling even. It was good to know what his limits were and how long he could last. He'd have to focus on mastering his ki so he didn't expend this much energy every time he fought anyone. "Sounds good, I don't mind calling it here. Wouldn't wanna kill you or anything," He said with a chuckle as both of them knew how this fight would end if it continued to the end. The human slid his sword back into his scabbard as he let his energy dissipate around him. "I'm afraid I can't. Don't get me wrong I respect the hell out of the martial arts schools, especially this one, but I've dedicated my life to the military and I can't just throw that away. I've got a job to do and a responsibility to Earth. But I'd love to spar with you again some time, you've pushed me to my limit and I reckon you could do it again. But next time I'll give you more of a fight, and I'll make sure I'm strong enough to push you to your limit as well." Josh grinned as the last of his power faded back into his normal state. Yet, the White Wolf was not one akin to those who were angered by this counter offer of rejection, instead he always accepted partial defeat, promising to keep trying, wearing at his target's resolve if possible. Still, even if Joshua couldn't be persuaded he could be used as a training partner as well as become a useful resource outside of physically becoming stronger. Popping his neck from the left to the right and then in a full circle Ookami would let out a short lived howl before clapping, slightly bowing to Joshua in respect. "Well I can't not respect a man for sticking to his trade, but don't expect me not to keep trying to pull ya' to my side of the street bub'. In the end though we are soldiers of war right? Keepers of peace on Earth, whether we're in the military or otherwise, haha!" However it was at this time that Ookami's expression would tighten, becoming whole heartedly serious as he began to offer nothing short of his full killing intent through stare alone. In another moment his face would become covered by his Mask of Terrors a vaguely skeletal mask of sorts, demonic and mystical energies turning his pinkish red eyes bright blue while also sending his optics into a bloodshot state. His following words echoed with a chilly and haunting tone. "I'll say this though, Joshua of the military...Respect or not, you threaten to take my life again, as humorous as it might be, and I'll kill you like a mutt, cover it up real nice like. They'll think you went AWOL, ran away like some kid who realized he was in over his head....But I like you bub', so let's keep it friendly, capiche?!" With his mask fading and his lips curling into a smile Ookami would nod toward Joshua, the White Wolf's Fangs coming in and escorting the soldier back off of the school grounds, leaving Ookami alone. Once Ookami was certain that the others were long gone his power would surge for a nano second, focusing his strength into a single punch thrown at the wall behind him. Luckily the mystic wards placed inside of the walls of the school half of the building wasn't blown away, standing strong as ever save for the trembling in the ground. While Josh was semi focused on what the other guy was saying he was more interested in the really strange looking face cover Ookami now wore. It gave him chills just looking at it, reminding him of some pretty scary movies he'd seen as a kid. Also a threat? Even in the most serious of context it'd be hard to take what Josh said as a threat. What Ookami said on the other hand was quite threatening. Now that was just bad manners. "Sounds good, and yeah any defender of Earth's a friend of mine. Let's just hope we aren't needed to defend it any time soon." As the bamboo door opened again his escorts re-appeared, taking Josh back to the entrance of the martial arts school and back into the open world. It had been an interesting experience fighting a martial arts school master, and had pushed him to use all his power just to hold his own. It showed him just how far he had to go, and how much stronger he had to get to be able to keep up with fighters like this. He had to keep going. If Earth was going to survive it needed stronger defenders. It was his chance to shine. @li
