“Huh,” was Chad’s initial response to both sighting and catching wind of his sister’s words. “It is you.” His paces tapered until he stood still, firm and unmoving. A consistent gale swept out from him in all directions, ostensibly in place of a fervid, raging aura of light. “What are you doing in a place like this?” It was then did a torrent of flame stretch out towards her. He watched a barrier erect itself in front of her, but he still felt the urge to run forward and rip the trunk from the robot’s face.
However, there was fire spewing everywhere.
Ryoku was in the air. He jumped and was currently performing the most elegant backwards flip he could muster. His bestial, robotic feet were together, his arms sprawled out and from his toes stretched a blue colour that would overtake his red exterior. He landed with a splash. Lines of water streamed from his form and he looked towards his foe with a cocksure grin. “Oh, yes. It’s on! I wonder! How will your fire fair against my wate---” And then a gatling gun showered the large robotic being with streaks of metal steeped in ki.
Ryoku covered his head and ducked. Chad looked to its source, but said nothing. He only looked with the same surprise Ryoku possessed, excepted immensely watered down. It certainly had an effect. The big bag’s power level, not felt by anyone, was not to grand as to render a legend’s attack useless; but while it comically spazzed from the kinetic force the bullets were abruptly instilling it with, an energetic sheen seemed to overcome its form. It was able to correct its posture as the hailing of bullets continued.
“Where’d you even get that!?” Ryoku cried with obvious confusion. However, where was Hoax? At some point, he performed a hearty step and disappeared. He was actually somewhere above - above the head of the elephant beast and above the hail of fire Cipher was providing. Hoax’s attention was upon his finger. It was just his index finger and it was only glowing a little bit. Just a tad. He was just floating there, hardly moving. He was just paying so much attention to the index finger he had extended and pointed towards the elephant.
“Aaaaand fire…” Hoax brought his thumb down against his index finger like it was the hammer to a firearm. A large line of caustic energy raced forward, slammed into the elephant’s face and left it seared and trunkless. Hoax recoiled slightly, somewhat taken aback by the fact its head was not removed from its body. “...Huh. That failed to fell it. Interesting… but the mechanism it used for its flame attack has been destroyed.”

Well, I’ll be damned. You sure know how to go for the overkill, Cipher! Unseen to anyone else, an apparition resembling a demonic jester looked over her shoulder. It placed its hands on it and used it like a perch while the Saiyan continued filling the elephant man with energy steeped lead. It seemed relatively effective, but the creature employed a familiar sheen to stave away most of the incoming damage. Seeing this, she clicked her tongue in mild frustration. At the same time, laughter boomed within the contours of her mind. The demon sounded amused by the entire situation. Want me to lend ya a hand, kiddo? It said, tightening its grip on her shoulder. Had anyone been around her, they would have seen the impression against her skin from the invisible asserted force. Despite the slight pain, she pressed on and continued to fire bullets into the alien until her empowered firearm consumed all the available ammo. She possessed the ability to call more to her person but refrained because it seemed necessary to put more powerful armaments to use against the being’s impressive durability. The gun clicked, revealing an empty chamber, and Cipher released a sigh. “You should have made yourself useful awhile ago, Thirteen.”Offered a moment of respite, Vesper let out a sigh of relief when the attacker discontinued his fiery onslaught. She claimed the moment for herself, running over to her brother’s side. Laboured breaths parted from her lips as she wrapped her arms around him in a quick hug. Breaking away, she directed her attention towards the enraged hunk of metal lumbering around the center of the heated plating. “I was at the beach, and I started noticing a bunch of strange aliens skulking around in the woods. I decided to check it out, and eventually, I followed them all the way here. Other than that, I have no idea–“The flash of destructive energy mandated she cover her eyes, barely witnessing the annihilation Hoax wrought. Fierce winds ruffled her clothes as she held her ground, skidding back a couple of feet before peeling her attention towards the elephant entity once more. Laying her eyes on its face, she noticed the implement her aggressor tried to kill her with earlier no longer existed. Some modicum of sympathy washed her over, but at the same time, undeniable relief. Before she could gather her thoughts, she felt a nauseating amount of power coming from somewhere in the vicinity. Meanwhile, the invisible jester appeared next to the robotic alien’s leg in the aftermath of the attack. Cipher allowed the elephant to see Death Thirteen, but his formed lurked behind the monster anyway. Cocking his scythe back, he swung at breakneck speeds to sever the robot’s hamstring. Robotic or not, he hoped cleaving its leg would lessen it mobility even more and leave it as a sitting duck for what was about to happen. He disappeared before it noticed him, relocating behind Cipher. Who, of course, had an RPG loaded over her shoulder. With the pull of a trigger, the corrupt energy-infused rocket jettisoned from its launcher in a flash of fire and smoke before setting its course towards the elephant. Cipher knew that the volcano might explode, but she assumed barrier girl might do something about isolating her attack to just the boss reploid. At first, Vesper looked at the incoming missile with a ‘holy shit’ expression all over her face. Lacking much time to react, she instinctively formed a conical barrier around the elephant. However, she made sure to embed an entry point for the missile. The missile flew inside of the barrier encasing the elephant man, and then Vesper closed the force field so the alien was trapped within the dome alongside the missile. Should it collide with its person, the dome would be filled with destructive bright light. Fractures appeared at the edge of the barrier while Vesper struggled to contain it, eventually watching it shatter and the explosion seeped through. She limited its size, but it still swallowed the bulk of the metal plate in infernal force and light.

Ryoku’s awareness was all about the sayian. His attention was upon the firearm and the rocket launcher that followed. Catching sight of the mechanics behind those summonings failed to enlighten him as to how she was performing them. Such was visible. His brows were low and furrowed with confuzzlement. While he was able to brandish a blade from the redistribution of his mechanical cells, she did not appear to be mechanical herself at all. “Huh!” He said and he started into a jog. “Anyway, heads up, everyone!”
That was all the warning he gave. Chad was busy listening to his sister. It would not be the first interruption, but the second after Hoax’s attack found its purchase. Everyone seemed able to escape the explosive rocket except a certain robotic elephant man and the barrier it found itself housed in. A subdued quiver spilled throughout the immediate surroundings. A muffled eruption of concussive force ensued. There was a short-lived lull thereafter. During it, a hilt grew from the palm of Ryoku’s hand. A multitude of seemingly sentient stars grew from where the bladed weapon’s guard would be if it were not completely absent.
Ryoku pointed the sword of stacked stars forward. “Here I go!” he announced. He was staring into the plumes of smoke escaping the cracked, ravaged barrier surrounding his target. With just a smidge of it waning and after claiming a visual with pieces of the robot appearing through the clearing smoke, Ryoku shot forward as a streak of yellow light, the majority of which radiated from the alien blade of questionable forge.
The pointed ray of light streaked about, entered through the hole Vesper opened through her barrier to allow Cipher’s rocket entry and stopped right before the robot’s torso. The sound of metal being punctured was followed by the visual of Ryoku standing firm with the sword plunged into the being’s assumed stomach.
And then the stars whirled. Like blades of a blender, they whirled about, tearing a large hole into the robot than its entry had already made. They came to a halt before allowing a still moment to pass. Ryoku tore the strange sword out of the aggressor, still having yet to speak a word. Having done so ostensibly caused it to topple forward. The barrier may have been dismissed by then, which would allow Ryoku to hop back effortlessly to remove himself from the falling being’s trajectory. He clashed with the ground. The audio that escape the collision was plump with impact and screeching metal.
“Forceful deactivation successful!” Ryoku held his blade high as he made the announcement. Hoax drew himself nearby, remaining adrift all the while.
“Right. It went better than I imagined it would - but about all of this…” Hoax motioned to the whole of the volcano’s interior with a grand arm gesture. “What do we do about all of this?” Whatever it was that Ryoku conjuried, it slipped away, apparently into his own form. After it did in the fraction of a second it required to do so, he waggled a finger back and forth with an expression all-too cocksure.
“I can dismantle this mess.”

The jester whistled sharply, planting the blunt end of his scythe against the ground. He watched the ensuing fireworks seemingly unfazed before drinking in the sight of metallic carnage. Even Cipher failed to deduce what the reaper sought, but he seemed amused by the mortals’ grand display. With the lack of blood, he supposed a quip about the ocean they left in their wake was out of place. The eternal smile on his masked maintained, laughter claimed the atmosphere while his body vanished into nothingness once more. Vesper let out a slow sigh. Cool as her brother made it, all the energy work produced a sheen of sweat on her forehead when combined with the volcanic heat. She was relieved that it was over without any casualties. Raising her hand and wiping it across her brow, she fixed her heterochromatic eyes on the duo of smaller stature. The volcano needed to be disarmed, and the red robot possessed a means of doing so. New to the party, she did not know what they were referring to. Cipher lifted her foot and took a step. In the middle of it, her body disappeared and reappeared on the platform her allies resided on. She placed her hand on the side of her head, rummaging her fingers through her coal locks of hair while turning her attention towards Ryoku. She failed to provide a response before, but she remembered a question the reploid produced earlier into the elephant man’s short-lived existence. “I dabble in magic for some techniques. That one allows me to summon items from one location to another.” She said, adding yet another plaque to the wall of God-like feats the crew could do. She possessed a mechanical arm as well, unlike five minutes ago. The medieval-looking implement replaced her missing right arm, and she crossed it under her chest along with her left. “How will you dismantle this?”With those words, Vesper remembered she encased the device in the middle with her barrier. Knowing that its existence might impede their progress, she raised both hands and broke it into fragments which dissolved into thin air.

Chad’s aura ceased. However, he was silent. His gaze was steadfast and unmoving, impossible to shake and it clung stubbornly upon Ryoku. Who he was staring at was unaware. After all, Cipher was explaining something to him. Chad witnessed a few nods in response oe her words from him. Hoax looked from one to the other and then remembered. “Oh, yes. An umbrella.” With the mention of the umbrella, Chad’s attention shifted to Hoax, how held up his hand overhead. “Everyone? I’m going to go fetch this individual’s compensation.” With that, Hoax began to lead the way as he drifted upwards with the intention of leaving the volcano.
“Kay!” Ryoku waved and turned back to Cipher. “I’ll just use my built-in tools. Then it’s just a matter of lifting all of this out. It’ll be a good stock of food for a while! I bet after I do all this, things ‘ll calm down around here. ...BAM!” Ryoku threw his arms up into the air, which seemed to result in his colour scheme returning back to what it once was. “Thanks! I’d thank everyone else, but I think they’re gone.” Ryoku turned around.to make sure nobody just happened to be out of sight.
“...Yeap! Looks like it!”
