It was clear that Faller was suffering from the pain of the ritual. While Kuueru didn’t want to specifically inflict such an agony, she wasn’t above doing such. She watched the man’s feet as the radiating pain continued to pour through every neuron in the green man’s body.He stumbled but remained on his feet, clearly the man was able to handle the ordeal and thus would make an excellent associate.
She moved her hand, the mark clearly there for the both to see. A ‘K’,an initial of sorts. The type of thing you put on things you own. Now, she owned the boy, whether or not he understood to what extent was all disclosed in the paperwork. There was no undo button now. If Faller was to ever lose the power, and the mark, it would be due to her death, or her wish to remove it herself.
Faller chimed in, she was unsure if he really meant his words of gratitude. She wondered if he understood the gravity and price at which this power had been granted. He felt it however, the way he looked, it was if he doubled in power from the simple taste of her gift. She chuckled, thinking how such a fraction of her power could benefit another so greatly. Now, Kuueru didn't Think she was some god-like level, but she didn’t lie when she said there wasn't many mortals who intimidated her. Fear And ignorance were two very different things however.
“You’re...welcome,” the demon retorted, taking a seat back on her stale bed on the stealth ship. She was tired. While she didn’t siphon too much of herself into Faller, the fatigue that rushed her body was undeniable. She would sleep for more than a few hours tonight, instead of prancing her way through bars and random restaurants.
“If I ever need you or you me, you can always reach out. There’s downsides to the pact for me as well. I can’t hide from you.”
She rolled her eyes and shot the man a playful wink. Like a tired mother trying to hide on the toilet from her toddler, she assumed she would grow tired of Faller bothering her. Perhaps he wouldn’t be so needy after all though...
“Also...don’t go around yelling my name...I’m trying to keep a low profile here… obviously. When you're ready to head back, I'll teleport you again.” Faller WC: 415//4,478

Faller listened to Kuueru's advice of assistance and nodded. Though he was pretty pleased that he could now see where she could ever be to know if she can help him in lost causes of battle. Even though she could simply teleport to his location. Still Faller felt confident that this new power he posses he won't need her help as often. And he even chuckled a little when she suggested she might need *his* help. If she had this much power to behold unto Faller, who knows how strong she really is. Faller watched the Demoness walk by him and return to the empty bed for rest. Still he could not sleep. This power he holds is very impressive and he could not ignore. As the pink haired one went to sleep, Faller did nothing but train himself. Testing his abilities. Seeing how fast and powerful he has just become. His speed was far quicker and he felt like the weight behind his faint attacks are heavier. Despite wanting to throw Ki blasts around to see how powerful he is now Faller felt that if he had unleashed one, he'd cause a hole in the ship and restrained himself from doing so. Still he refused to stop training and did so that the Demoness could just rest. She helped him, he felt it was at least fair she get something to rest for. Especially after giving the Namekian a portion of her own power. Though one thing that did stay away from him during his entire training, was Aree. The lack of Aree wasn't bothering, but noticeable. There was no words, no advice, no anything from Aree. In a way it did feel like Aree was completely gone. If he was, Faller was now guideless and without the knowledge of his brother, he would have to go on alone. Still he retained the memories of Aree. This coupled with this recent power surge in his body, made Faller wonder if he is meant to be and fight alone. If so, it is a fate left undesirable for his brother always helped him before his death. But now, for the first time in his life, Faller is alone. Faller trained for hours without firing a single blast of Ki eventually though, he became bored of it and he leaned on a wall waiting for the Demoness to awake. He was ready to return to society to test his newfound abilities on a being of evil and to continue his quest to find his brother. When she would awake, he would declare his desire to return back to Crusher Corps territory. "I'm ready to go back now." Faller said to the awaking Demoness. He indeed wanted to go back. Being in this ship for what seemed like months had gotten to Faller's psyche and he was indeed becoming increasingly bored as Kuueru slept. He was ready to move on with life, with the power that she had given him. This would be the kind of power that few ever get to feel and Faller wanted to put it to good use. His use. She rested for a long while, the energy she lost soon recovering, but not fully. At the cost of giving the man her power, she in turn lost it. There was always an exchange, even if it’s not monetary or material. Losing a chunk of power was very upsetting to the demon. She did however, intend for it to happen. Making allies was the best thing she could do to keep herself safe while venturing the mortal realm.
She pondered on what the boy thought of his new-found energy, or if he even felt it at all? Her eyes fluttered open, a while had passed since she laid down...but the girl wasn’t sleeping. Her mind was now racing, she felt panicked and hurried. As soon as she sat up Faller stated that he was ready to travel back. She nodded and wiped the beading sweat from her brow.
“I would have taken you back before my rest, ya know,” Kuueru mumbled before stumbling to her feet. She rested a hand upon Faller’s shoulder and shot him a grin. Like before their bodies shifted and hurled through space and time. They landed back where they were, but most of the gym goers were done and gone now. A loud breathe pressed from Kuueru’s lips as she turned her back to the man.
“Y’see, I can’t ask you enough not to go flaunting around this power… yet. You’re only make yourself an me a target.”
The demon turned to shoot him a stern glance. Her lips curved into a dissatisfied shape.
“As for your brother. I can feel him now…”
It wasn’t a lie. Much like Faller, she would now notice the presence, and the awkward absence of Aree. It was like she got to taste what he was like, but just before she could meet him he was tucked away. She felt, but couldn’t pinpoint the conscious of the absorbed Namekian.
“I’m not sure where he went though, and I’m not sure of your goals. But, I hope that you can meet them thanks to this. I’m going to need all the help I can get to turn this universe on it’s head and show it the true order of disorder. They all need a little chaos to perform at peak conditions.” She spoke of keeping everyone on edge. Keeping your friends close and your enemies closer. Who knows? She may not even cooperate with the same people she does a year from now.
“Remember, you can speak to me...like you once could Aree,” she spoke glumly of the situation, but truly hoped the boy would use his newfound abilities. Not only did he gain raw strength, but some of her magical energy as well. Mastering his own mind, he would be able to telepathically communicate with Kuueru across much a distance. That was the bond of sharing souls.
With her final warning she disappeared back into space. However, she didn’t go back to her ship no. Tonight was the couple’s special at a famous steak house she had heard of. She had a reservation for one, but fully intended to eat both servings of meat and sides herself. She could only imagine the Namekian was hard at work honing his new powers as she indulged. "I know you would've, I just thought that you needed your rest to recover the power that you gave me. Besides your rest gave me time to get used to this power." There wasn't a lot of lying from the Namek, he wholeheartedly believed that losing ones power would take alot out of someone. But he highly respected the Demoness for this gift. He was not ungrateful for this energy. "Don't worry. I won't let this power get to my head and throw it around at the first bird I see. Your identity will be kept safe with me. Hopefully one day, I can repay this favor of yours." Faller meant this. This new strength that he gained from this has given him power that he never thought possible and feels like he can stand up to anything. "Wait... You can sense Bano? Then... He's alive!" Finally something good news aside from the power gains. The fact that Kuueru can sense Bano's presence alone pleased Faller greatly. Knowing that he is alive couldn't be more better than ever. But when Kuueru relayed that she can't say where he is, Faller's smile quickly faded. "... I see. But you say I can too harness the power to find him too? Then... I will work as I can to find him. Thank you." If she can find the spirit of Bano then locating him won't be hard. But the hard part will be figuring out how to make that finding someone ability his own. As the Demoness began to leave and give Faller her parting words for his already gained abilities, Faller closed his eyes to focus and telepathy commune with the Demoness one more time. "Thank you Kuueru. We'll meet again." Faller relayed his parting words to the Demoness he very rarely misses people not part of his family, but this one is different and she deserved a true thank you from Faller. But now, Faller is on his own. With power beyond what he held before. Now he had to figure out how to use it to its fullest potential for himself. WC:351 / TWC:4,751 Queen Kuueru
