“How horrible…” ‘How wonderful!’
While one part of him relished the idea of a nightmare-spawning planet, the other found it fittingly nightmarish and an unpleasant thought. Simply his feet touching its surface was alarming and more than enough to send a chill through him. ‘Mmm… pleasure tremors…’ The thought possessed no volume to those outside of his mind-jailing skull, but cried out nonetheless with an inaudible tone nigh lustful and painfully yearnful.
“Yeap, that’s the conclusion I came to,” Hoax replied with an affirmative nod to punctuate. “It’s a pretty despicable place - predatory, even; but besides having its uses, it isn’t as if it’s acting outside of nature. I suppose I cannot completely condemn it.” After Cipher’s request, Hoax only shot Ghost a fleeting glance before agreeing. “He can come along. It doesn’t matter if I trust him much since if he did anything threatening, you would likely take care of it before I noticed anything was amiss.”
Hoaxed chuckled. Ghost did not. Inwardly, that roguish portion of himself somehow retreated even deeper within to the point where even the external Ghost was unable to hear its ramblings clearly. ‘We must come back here...' Its form, if it could be said to have such a thing, paced in circles floating about. ‘Too good of a place to not make use of... Even if I have to take full control, I’ll get back here…’
“On my way now!” Hoax hollered. Various spaceship noises could be heard.

For Cipher, as she mentioned, the planet sounded like a utopia. She might encounter unpleasant imagery there she would be unable to unsee no matter how much brain bleach she devoted to the purpose, but it a weapon could not be forged without first being put under the flame. If one wanted to simulate Hell on the literal level, they did not need to look further than the planet called Oneiri. And most of her training regiments were hardly distinct from Hell itself, at least physically. Training under gravity hundreds of times more than that of her native planet tore the body apart and allowed it to come back stronger, and tested the limits of the mind, but could it replicate overcoming fear itself? To become fearless in the truest sense of the word, for Cipher, that was the biggest boon the planet offered. Cipher joined in on the chuckling after Hoax spoke in partial jest. As a saiyan, there was very little enjoyment taken in fighting people who were not around her level of strength. There was some allure in the idea that by defeating them it would allow them to come back stronger and offer a more imposing contest to amuse her and bolster her strength further, but outside of that, aside from offering a transient respite from her barely suppressed bloodlust, it didn’t completely stave away her hunger overall. Her brown tail swayed behind her back before fastening itself around her waist once again. She stretched and then nodded in response to Hoax affirming that he was on his way. “Alright, I’ll send you my coordinates now.” She said before doing just that. Her fingers danced upon some kind of interface on a small panel integrated onto the device, sending the approximate coordinates they were located at on the mysterious planet. The saiyan turned her attention back towards Ghost. “Like I said, this is a good place to hone yourself if you seek power. Challenges such as these either make or break a person. I’m not sure if the place could make something of note for me without kicking the bucket in the process, but if you seek power, this could be your first tribulation, Ghost.” Ghost | 375/4652

“Ah! Yes, those would be handy,” Hoax replied. While he had already started making preparations to venture into the Eastern Quadrant, he did need coordinates. After the call ended, Hoax and his ship started veering through space. His thoughts were of the planet he was about to venture to. His strength of mind and psionic ability made the planet less of a threat to him. Something Cipher asked how happened upon him after the fact. “Oops… should I call her back?” he questioned. He thought to himself for a moment, shook his head and continued on. In reality, it was an unpleasant thought.
Fortunately, there was one steeping in unpleasant thoughts for the whole of his life. Currently, he was listening to the words of the saiyan. He seemed to be paying attention, but after her words trickled to an end, the subject suddenly changed.
“F… Feed it strong people,” Ghost said abruptly with his brand-name uncertainty. “If you bring strong things - if that person is right about this place, bring them here to be consumed.” He scratched under his helmet at the back of his head. “I… could come back here and have a nap, but right now I wanna nap that won’t kill me…”

Cipher’s head came to a quizzical tilt as she fixed her eyes on Ghost. He spoke on a subject that when unanswered earlier that Cipher took interest in, but Hoax must have forgotten her mention. At first, her expression seemed neutral while she listened to the explanation, and then her brow arched in something that could only be described as a pleasant surprise. Sharp laughter emanated from her lips before she parked her hands behind her head, her gaze lingering at the diminutive demon before she peeled it towards the sky. “Hmm, I think I’ll have to pay it a visit and do just that. What better way to punish the defeated for their ineptitude than making them part of my training regiment forever?” The thought sounded good to her; she had no qualms with making morally ambiguous decisions. If she eliminated a high priority target that needed to die in order for the universe to be effectively purged of their tyrannical taint, then perhaps she would detour to Oneiri, blow a hole into them to disallow their survival, and then toss them down to be consumed and fuel its development. With that in mind, she could whip it up to shape and allow it to ‘train’ anyone regardless of their current amount of power. “In a way, this planet reminds me of a venus flytrap. Except with nightmares and significantly larger. That’s a kind of plant that, when bugs land on it, proceeds to trap it inside and digest it. I wondered to myself at first, why did this rock attack us in the first place?” Cipher paused for a moment, a low barely audible chuckle emanating from her throat. “That’s because it seems to be sentient, and almost every sentient thing needs to eat in some way. If that’s the case, then I’ll feed it plenty of nutrients to make sure it grows up big and strong.” The expression she wore at that moment sported a surplus of malice. Her eyes were cold and the lower half of her face was split by a smile ear-to-ear. Maybe she would start by feeding her master’s killer to the ghastly space rock. “I wonder how old this place this. If it’s a relatively young planet or otherwise.” Ghost | 376/5028

His perpetual frown slackened for a moment. The corners of his mouth were pushed up and up until there was a subtle smile in place. It was all thanks to the infectious laughter of Cipher. With a mighty climax like none other, Ghost released a tiny little snort and that was the end of his entire non-fit of laughter. He then turned his face away and rung his hands out, as it were, as he waited the moment of his unbridled outburst to pass.
Ghost’s response appeared to end there. He had no answer in regards to the planet’s age and while agreeing with the analogy, did little more than nod sheepishly. Though, it would not be very long until they could see something approach. It grew from a spec into a full-fledged ship. At some point, Ghost redirected his attention skyward as its presence became unarguable.
It came to a graceful landing nearby. There was a moment of settle, then a lull. The ship’s door rose to reveal Hoax, who waved the two of them in. “Here I am, as promised,” he started. He gave his surrounds a quick glance over. “And don’t even bother, Oneiri.” He tapped his forehead and narrowed his eyes.

Cipher turned her gaze towards the spec that began to form in the sky. After the visual cue tipped her off, she started to hear the stirring of electrical engines and other instruments while the speck grew in size, eventually revealing Hoax’s ship. Good. As tantalizing as using the planet to her advantage was, she wanted to leave it in order to get back to her devices on higher priority. She could always return later and continue on with her planned investment, but she was in the middle of something before she was abducted into these foreign lands and she wanted to get back to it. Namely, breaking down her body so in that it could come back stronger. The ship’s door opened with a mechanical hiss, and Cipher trained her eyes on the opening. Her gaze drifted down towards Hoax, who she greeted with a familiar nod. A thought arose in her, courtesy of being a Saiyan, that since her goal when she got back was training if he would prefer to do so alongside her. It was always good to have a training partner outside of those she trained with regularly in order to not be a deer in headlights when confronted with a different style. With that in mind, she started to walk towards him and soon found herself making her way inside of the ship, presumably with Ghost behind her. Something about Hoax’s reaction sparked curiosity in her, and she found herself posing a sincere question. The more information she received about the place the better. If she intended to use it in her training, then she needed to know everything about it. With her aspirations towards feeding her enemies to it in order to power it up, she needed to know if there was any prerequisite for them to be consumed by it. “Are certain people more resistant to its influence than others?” Cipher asked, giving the ambiguous environment one last look before turning back around.
