The stranger was clad in black, wisps of it covering it's form, as it strode forward. it walked slowly, laboriously, as though it had taken a long journey. The stranger held onto it's walking stick with a tight grip, but their legs seemed to work completely fine. The dark energy it radiated seemed to evaporate into the ether as it stepped forward, running out of energy as she kept walking, kept striding forward.
Her second-last visit. Her last one was saved for one special person, though, so she couldn't let every bit of that dark energy disappear.
The darkness parted, and a woman wearing a dark business suit with a cocky smile appeared as the stranger crept in through the back window. at the moment, there were no questioning trainees awake, but she was certain Will would wake up from the intrusion... hopefully, given his peaceful nature, her entirely human wisps of ki, and her utterly low threat level, she'd let her explain herself.
But still, she had to admit to herself... it was a little funny for the last wisps of a dying spirit to come in through a bathroom, of all things. It sounded like a stupid joke out of a manga.
She resisted the urge to sit on the toilet seat, despite the ache in her legs. it wouldn't be right...
"...I know you've heard me by now, Will. Could you come say hello?" The human asked. Shale Evans stood, bright piercing green ki coming off her in a radiating aura. "I've only got so much time to do this."

All of Will's students were elsewhere at the moment, Will brought the Kame House in a capsule to this island nearby that Master Roshi had used to train his students, including Will and many others before him. He used a similar training to the one involving finding a marked rock in the woods, although with some twists of his own like them putting their Ki into one of each of their rocks and having to find the rock with their Ki inside and some of Will's own. He didn't even shown them where he threw or hid them, he just said they needed to go out into the forest and find them. He hid them in specific spots to teach them very lessons they need to work on, patience, kindness, complex problem solving, stuff like that. It is already night time and they are still not back. He did anticipate this would take hours, days, or even a week maybe. That's why beforehand he trained them how to survive and subsist on the wilderness like he has learned to do on his own. Of course he gave them each some provisions but he will have a nicely prepared meal for when they get back. He can tell that they all very much alive and aren't in any danger so he has nothing to worry about for now. Which is why he is soundly asleep at the moment, before a familiar intruder interrupted his sleep. He hasn't felt this energy or this person's presience in a long time. However he felt that this one was one that was close to death's door. He got up and went to the bathroom to find Shale. It was obvious she wasn't here to fight but what other reason was she here? He also noticed that some of the evil dark and eldritch power within her was gone. "I have prepared myself for many scenarios for if we were to meet again after our last battle where you beaten me, none of them did I ever expect it to be like this. If you have come here to ask of something of me I can help you to the couch where it's more comfortable. I can see that you probably can't do it on your own." Will said. He knows that she is no state to fight, she has came here specifically for Will. What reason could that be? Will is about to find out. He uses helps carry Shale to the couch for her to get more comfortable. Even if she is an intruder she came here for a reason in her dying moments so for now Will is going to treat her like a guest.

Shale gave a nervous smile, and then offered her hand, allowing herself to be lead to the couch. "...I remember that. I..." Vayle will shake her head. "Though I wasn't exactly who you met. I was the part that was crying... not the part that killed that world... n-not that I didn't... facilitate it." Vayle would add. "L-lemme start over.. I'm the last remaining wisps of Vayle's humanity... Shale. Pleased to meet'cha."
Shale would sit down on the couch with a slump, looking at the little cat. "I, uhhh, have to go back to her eventually, before she finishes her 'hibernation' plan, but long story short, I took her old body on for how... however long I'll have." Shale would add with a smile. "...I know it gets better, eventually, but this is quite a painful...
A crack appeared near Shale's knuckle. "oh boy we're here now, aren't we? This ain't even the last stop I have to make..." And with that thought, Shale would shrug. "Anyways... I came to warn ya, to... thank ya, for what you managed to do to slow her down... and to give you a few bits of advice moving forward."
Shale would lean on the cat. "your students have the potential to change the universe for the better. I'm... the actual me is going into hibernation for now, but when she wakes up... she needs someone to keep her in check. That'll be on them."

Of course she talks about how the last time they met she destroyed an entire alien civilization on a planet with no pity or remorse. However, it seems this Shale, or this part of her wasn't responsible for that. Claiming to be what humanity of her was left. He could tell there is nothing but sorrow on her face and emanating from her aura. And he can tell so far that she is not lying. She doesn't appear to be trying to trick her.
"Glad to meet you Shale, the original you before that book entered your life. I am guessing that Vayle was one of the voices in your head that was telling you to commit all of those atrocities? Or did they end up getting a new personality while I wasn't looking." Will said.
While the humor was a bit abrupt hopefully it lightened up the circumstances. He then listened to her story about Vayle's body currently hibernating while Shale is managing to send what's left of her here. He looked worried that her knuckles begin to crack like grass. He wish he could offer something to help, but since she is basically a ghost he doubts that a Senzu Bean would help. Magic might help her but he is unsure what spell he knows on hand that could fix the condition she is in.
Then Will was delivered a bombshell that left him quite shocked. He was told his students would have to stop Vayle when she awakens. She was very strong when Will faced her, but who knows how strong she may become when she is through hibernating. That is if she would be getting any stronger in the process. Nevertheless it seems once they have become strong enough the universe would need them, although he can't just let them do it alone.
"No it won't be just on them Shale, it will be on me too. I faced you er at least the bad part of you before they'll need my help. Besides I am over 400 years old I am sure I can live for another few hundred. I will be facing her alongside my students, I can't let it just be their burden to bare. Besides if all else fails I could get some more Dragon Balls on standby just in case." Will said.
Honestly Will is still saddened that he wasn't able to reach Shale's humanity before. To convince her to let go of the book and to prevent it's power from consuming her. Now it seems what humanity she has left is speaking to Will telling him to take her down when the time comes. He just hopes there can be a way for Will to save her humanity without resorting to a merciful kill. It should be his burden to bare and not his students.

Shale would smile at the cat, listening to his words with a soft, sad smile. "...I guess I just... needed to make sure you were ready. and..."
Shale would ruffle the cat's head. "...Please, don't think it's your fault. I took the book thinking I could revive my best friend, after it had ensnared him. After I was forced to kill him, to save the rest of my friends. My mistake was trying to fight the cycle of life and death, to leave that sin behind by just fixing the damage with a spell." Shale would admit. "...I made my mistakes. besides..."
Shale would take a deep breath. "...The me that is out there now followed my little plan perfectly. It ate the outsider that book is linked to and merged with it. Meaning... it's mortal now. It took me and warped me and made me into a horrible parody of who I am... and I doubt I'll be fully free of it's influence, ever, but..." Shale smiles.
"If you can stop me, you can stop that thing from ever taking another life. I... hope making sure of that will do enough that I can go to the same place she does, when I die."
The ghost looked at her finger, at the engagement ring upon it. "...So I... Thank you. For trying to save me. for letting me pretend I could be saved, for just a little while. It was... comforting."

It truly is a sad tale, bringing back someone you care about only for you to kill them to protect others you care about. It seems however that Vayle ate and absorbed the "Outsider" that was linked to the book and made herself mortal in the process. While Will has no idea what an Outsider is he can guess it has something to do with the Broken Angel that attacked Central City from Princess Felicia told him about it when she accidentally summoned trying to figure out how everyone came back to life. Of course it was the Dragon Balls and some otherworldy being that's not even from this universe. At least since the thing controlling the book is gone now the threat of the book corrupting anyone else if it fell into someone else's hands is gone.
However what she said next worried Will, she said that when she dies she hopes to go to where her other half is going. He was hoping she would tell some way of being able to save her or to get rid of the Outsider influence. Instead she asks for him to mercy kill her as he feared. Such a big burden he has to bare, one that he can't let his students have. Cause he is basically killing someone who is innocent, or at least the part of someone who is.
"No you won't go to the same place as her, she's obviously going to be sent to Hell and you don't deserve that punishment. You already suffered so much, even if I to go to King Yemma's doorstep and speak on your behalf and make sure your soul is given solace so you can truly rest in peace. Even if that means Yemma would be mad at me for such an outrageous demand. Even then there must be some other way that doesn't involve killing you, some way we could remove the Outsider energy from your body. There has to be a better alternative then this!" Will would say tears running down his face.

"...Maybe." Shale would add with a faint smile. "Still, I committed the principal sin, that I did."
The girl sighed. "When I was... younger, I lost my parents. lead a very sinful and selfish life afterwards. didn't kill anyone, but I'd hurt people for the sake of my job and money. A criminal enforcer. It... let me feel control over my life, after losing my parents. Like I had the final say on life and death. I..."
Vayle sighed. "...Thought I'd buried that and moved on when my mentor died. learned to put my talents to good use. Instead, I put everyone's lives on the life when Carmine lost his. It wasn't just because I cared about him. It was because I thought it was unfair. That it was my duty to set such an injustice right. That weakness was where the book wormed it's way into my mind, convinced me of what a good idea this was, and I fell for it like a sack of bricks."
The girl gave a silent chuckle. "...Do ya see what i'm saying, Will? I'm very ready to go into hell and seek my punishment if Yemma wills it. I've spent my whole life trying to control my reality because I thought I knew better than anyone in the cosmos. Because I thought my feelings of loss were more valid than the base make-up of this universe. I'm done running from who I am and what I've done. I appreciate your offer..."
Tears fell to the couch as Vayle continued talking, and she took in a deep breath. "But twice now, I've had someone else take my punishments in my place. I want to take this on. If every reincarnation is a lesson, then if I don't take whatever Yemma will offer, I'll have failed to learn mine."
And then, Vayle would lean into the cat, starting to fade. "I'm about to head off to my last visit."
And then, the girl would lean in, pick up the cat, and add one last thing. "I left a lewd magazine in the bathroom. Figured you might appreciate it." She added with a grin.
And with that, Shale leaned in and pulled Will into a short kiss.
"I'm... I'm going to miss you. Thanks for believing in me..."
And with that, a few seconds later, Shale Evans would fade into a few pinpricks of light, and zoom out from the house

It seems that even before she found the book Shale's life was filled with trouble. Indeed from the sounds of the way she described it would be much harder to convince King Yemma then. Especially if Shale herself wants this punishment she believes she deserves so badly. She may even ask Yemma himself to send her to Hell when her soul is at the Check-In Station. There is truly nothing he can do to help in that regard.
He was hoping that perhaps she was going to tell them there was a way that involved saving her without killing, but it seemed that was too idealistic. Having to sacrifice the life of an innocent to kill a powerful evil that could end up threatening the universe and saving everyone in it. And it seems to be too late anyway as Shale seems to be fading from this world. He would end up blushing from her goodbye kiss.
He then looked into the bathroom and found that she did in fact left him a lewd magazine, he'll kept as a memento to remember her bye. That aside he knows what he must do, he must train hard along with the rest of his students in order to prepare to face Vayle. Thankfully he still has that Hyperbolic Pass he bought, by training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber he would be more then ready to face Vayle. Perhaps at the very least he can ask King Yemma to make sure to not only have her reincarnated into a good person, but one with a happy life. A life she deserves after all of the shit she has been through.
And thus Will and his students prepared for what would be an incredible battle. Did they prevail? Would Shale find happiness? Would any of his students die? Unfortunately like all stories this one must end, perhaps it is for the best that we leave it all to your imagination then.
