It had been several months since Majin Ala had been awakened from her imprisonment. She had grown accustomed to life back on Earth, and fallen into a dull rhythm through the days. Her home planet was much the way she left it, people never seemed to change. Sprawling cities, busy lives, a welcoming nature to aliens and foreigners, and a whole lot of weaklings. Earthlings were weak, it was an unfortunate truth. Most didn't even know how to fly or use ki, and those that did, well they were so badly outclassed by the mighty Majin that fighting them would be a waste of her time. Except for a few, there were a few people on Earth that Ala could spar with. Mr. Tora from Tiger Island, and her adoptive little brother Majin Khoshai were among the chief examples. Ala would fly from her small tropical island she'd claimed as home to train alongside her two bestest friends.
But, her routine was beginning to grow dull. The reason Ala had returned to Earth was homesickness, and a desire to return to normalcy. Now she had that, and she was fast running out of ways to preoccupy herself. Deep down in her non-existent pink heart, more violent instincts called out to the Majin. The thrill of battle, the desire to kill and consume, the yearning lust to absorb powerful beings and gain their abilities. It was a life she'd once lived, a cosmic terror ravaging worlds as a space pirate, an assassin, a mercenary, whatever job she needed employ. Never about the money, always about the thrill of combat and the chance to face a worthy foe. Despite this, Majin Ala had sworn to set a better example for Kho. She'd promised him she'd put her more destructive impulses behind her, and that she was determined not to be the monster many believed the Majin are.
And yet, the urge to fight was strong. Knowing no better way to seek adventure, Ala had boarded the nearest freighter headed... anywhere. Upon stowing aboard the ship she'd found the biggest, meanest, toughest looking brute and politely asked him who the toughest person he knew was. He'd informed Ala that he'd only answer if she sat in his lap and gave daddy a kiss, and as a result the fool was promptly turned into a graham cracker and devoured. Ala then proceeded to ask the second toughest, now much more intimidated brute on the ship who the strongest being he knew of was. He'd informed her of a tournament he and the boys had watched some time ago. A mighty contest of champions on Space Vegas, where only the strongest had emerged victorious. Ala listened wide eyed in wanderlust, she'd seen the jeweled spectacle of Space Vegas, and could only imagine what this tournament had been like.
The man had gone on to explain the captain of the winning team, the one dubbed Kuueru, the Baroness of Hollow. A galactic patrol officer who's team had bested a Super Saiyan and her own friend Tora of Earth. Ala's interest was immediately piqued, and she now sorely wished to meet this Kuueru so she could test her so called might. The Majin asked where exactly this Hollow was, and upon learning its destination blackmailed the ship's crew into taking her there. Protests were met with threats of being devoured or worse, and even the captain of the vessel decided this was one detour he could afford to take. And so, Ala slept in the ship's cargo hold until they arrived at their destination. Despite two attempts to kill her in her sleep, one attempt to jettison her out an airlock, and an ill fated attempt to offer her poisoned food. The ship finally arrived, some of its crew intact, at one of the landing docks aboard the mining colony.
No sooner had black heeled boots touched metal catwalks than the freighter had loosed its moorings and sped off away from the planet. Ala didn't mind, she was here now, and that was all she wanted. The city's inhabitants were a mixed lot, encompassing species from across the whole of the Quadrant. Even among them though, the pinked skinned Majin stuck out like a sore thumb. Having no better way to find her opponent, Majin Ala did the most sensible thing she knew how to. She made a scene. The Majin made her way to the largest, most central plaza she could find. Right in the center of the ancient Demon God's skull. Without hesitation she flared her aura, unleashing unknown, unfathomable power. The ground beneath her feet cracked and buckled as she loosed her immense weight, shifting from her condensed form into her true, towering form. Once finished Majin Ala stood fifty feet in height, bystanders fleeing in a panic as soldiers and law enforcement formed a perimeter around the area.
With fists clenched, the massive Majin bellowed out thunderous words that boomed across hollowed city. "Where is Kuueru the Baroness? The one that won the Shroomy's! Where is she, bring her here so I can fight her! I want to see how strong she is!" With her demands stated Ala slammed her long tail down on the ground behind her, causing bystanders to dive out of the way to avoid flying bits of debris. The short tempered Majin folded her arms beneath her considerable bust, tapping one foot impatiently as she waited word from her challenger if she'd face her.
