Thast had just returned to earth from a long voyage. for the past three days he had been training in space, aboard his brand new warcrusher "The Enlightenment". This warship was a kilometer long behemoth that was designed exactly to the earthling's specifications, and it was all just a gift from his master Dain. three weeks ago, Thast had become the apprentice of Dain Sincara after stumbling upon the saiyan during a training session on earth. Since that day, his power level had literally increased tenfold. The earthling needed to impress his master the next time they met, this meant he would have to train even harder. He needed newer, even tougher opponents to fight. What better a place to seek these type of people out than his home world of earth? Thast couldn't think of any, Though the twin spirits that lived inside his head may have had other suggestions. Yang in particular had said, "Why don't we use this now power of ours to conquer a small galaxy? It would be a good challenge after all!" Yin had mentioned he could continue his image fighting training with her, but he needed something physical. Earth would be the only thing that would do for his purpose. "Consider it a compromise you two." Several tens of miles outside of South City, back on earth, Thast's warcrusher would land. "Alright, this seems like a good spot. CPU, your in charge while I'm gone. I don't want to see a scratch on this thing when I come back." A ramp would lower down from the massive ship, and out would walk an earthling, quite small in comparison to the huge abomination. Once he had firmly stepped onto the planet's soil, the warship would take off into the clouds, leaving him there alone. The earthling would take a deep breath, pulling in the cold winter air of earth. This really was home to him. It was now time to focus though. Thast need to bait the hook to catch a fish, so to speak . "Lets do this you two. Full Power!"Thast would clench his fists, and enter into an energy charging stance. An aura of black, white, and blue would rapidly flash around himself and the ground would begin to shake. "If this doesn't get someone's attention, I don't know what would!"BATTLE TRACKER SUMMARY

Finally, a day to just kick back and relax. Etohn's retrieved all of his personal effects from his days in the Dominion, he feels like he can take at least a one day break from fighting, and he rented out a room in Satan City just to have a day of luxury to himself. While he usually tries to keep himself busy, he's been yearning for a bit of a break from it all for a while, what with his chance encounter with Legume and how that has expanded his horizons. A chance to just indulge himself instead of doing anything important sounded nice for a change, at least. Well, this all wouldn't last, though, as after he finishes his 5 course breakfast meal, he feels a large ki disturbance off in the distance. With how most people prefer keeping their powers suppressed, especially on Earth of all places, such a large jump would obviously catch his attention. It was fairly far away, but given how he didn't detect anything else notable nearby him, he reasoned that it would be for the best to investigate. Wouldn't want some villain getting too big for their britches and trying to destroy a city, after all. Rising up from his seat, Etohn brings his left hand up to his forehead, touching two fingers to it as he focuses upon the energy he detected. His body begins flickering in place before he was suddenly whisked away. Suddenly popping into existence in front of Thast, Etohn looks the Human over briefly before gazing at their surroundings. From what it looked like, they were in a plains with basically nothing around them. "Huh, pretty secluded for showing off your power, aren't you?" he quips, grinning at Thast. Thast was shocked for a moment. Sure the bait had worked, but his opponent came out of no where. He had never seen a technique like this before. Moreover, the mans power level was quite high. Perhaps too much for him to defeat in a few blows. This was perfect, just the type of opponent he needed. Thast would drop out of his charging stance, and give a grin of satisfaction. "So it looks like someone came. Your pretty strong too. I figured a sudden spike in power would draw out a decent fighter. You may not be as strong as Dain, but you've got a certain look about you, that's for sure." Thast would look the man up and down before giving a slight nod, "Alright then. My name is Thast Rowens. It looks like you'll be my training partner for today. Don't worry. I'll go easy on you."Thast would then leap about fifty feet back landing on top of a rocky pillar. He had promised to go easy on the man, so he would give him a warning before he decided to throw his first attack. "So, you'd best brace yourself for this." Thast would reach out with both hands looking down at Ethon. he would crack his neck right before two blue ki blasts would shoot out of his hands. He knew this guy would be able to negate an attack like this no problem. The earthling simply wanted to test the half-saiyan's capabilities before he decided to get serious. BATTLE TRACKER SUMMARY

Well, for whatever reason, this Thast guy was just looking for somebody to fight with and decided that they were going to power up and try to draw people out. It worked in this case, but it is still baffling. What's even more baffling than that is how they said that they'd go easy on Etohn. Could the guy not sense energy, or were they just that confident in their abilities that the gap in power wouldn't matter? Whatever the case was, they were serious about battling, jumping onto a nearby rocky pillar and launching out two ki blasts. Well, guess he's fitting in a fight into his cheat day, then. "Man, I was gonna do so little today..." he mutters, swatting aside one of the ki blasts with the back of his hand. The other attack wouldn't even be acted against as Etohn gets out of the way, seemingly vanishing from his position due to his speed, leaving the ki to explode uselessly against where he just was previously. Reappearing directly above the Human, Etohn's right arm would piston forward, the force of his blow shattering the rock column Thast stood upon before even connecting. Continuing to keep up his offense, Etohn would quickly weave through the air, his body nothing more than a blur as he tries to strike his opponent from all angles, suddenly concluding the assault by reappearing back on the ground, his left hand held forward. A small, blue orb of ki quickly forms and begins expanding, sparks of energy dancing along its surface as energy is quickly condensed into it. "Hope you were really prepared for this fight. Big Bang Attack!" Thrusting his hand forward, the attack zooms out towards the Human, detonating a short distance away from them to make avoiding the attack practically impossible. Thast's initial attack had been deflected with little to no effort by the man. This was the moment Thast had realized he had bitten off a bit more than he could chew. The power difference between the two seemed to be more pronounced than when he had first called Ethon. The earthling would have no choice but to break his limits, just as his master had instructed. Before he could begin to power up further, his new opponent was already on the offensive. To be fair, should he have expected less of a high caliber warrior? The pillar of rock would would shatter like glass against the force of the first counter attack. It seemed the attack was coming from above of all places! Even though he had hopped back slightly, various bits of rubble would slam against the earthling's body. What occurred next would be an all out pummeling! Fists and feet would fly from all directions, encasing himself in a way. It was a true rock and a hard place scenario, but eventually the blows would subside as his opponent re-positioned himself for some sort of energy attack. He had never seen an orb of ki like that before, "Big Bang Attack. huh?" At that moment, a memory of Dian using the spirit bomb came to his mind. If this attack was like the spirit bomb, there would be significant damage if it hit. The only thing someone like Thast could hope to do was dodge the attack. As the burst of power flew his way, Thast would jump into the air allowing it to pass under him. The energy attack would continue to soar for about a mile before a massive blue explosion was made in it's wake. "Nice move. Was that a spirit bomb? Don't see those often... Anyway, warm ups are over. Time for a taste of my true power!"Thast would land on top of another rocky pillar in the wastes. Gritting his teeth, an aura of flashing black, white, and blue colors would manifest around him, but this aura would be sucked into his right hand creating an orb of his own. Thast would then bring both of his hands to his right side, cupping them, and allowing the orb of grey energy to grow stronger. He was charging his most powerful technique, the turtle destruction wave. "Yin Yang Kamehameha!" He would then bring forth his arms, and the orb of energy would soon turn itself into a destructive grey beam. It would tear through the landscape, hoping to swallow Ethon whole. Etohn rolls his neck after firing off his attack, bouncing around on the balls of his feet as he limbers his body up. This Thast guy put up a pretty good defense against him, coming out relatively okay after his assault, only small wavers in their ki betraying that they took a bit of damage there. "Huh, Spirit Bomb? I don't know about any Spirit Bombs. Just a ki attack I was taught one day, y'know?" Given his knowledge of ki-based attacks, Spirit Bomb just sounds like a flashy name for a ki ball, but really, when aren't attacks just that? Proving his point, Thast summoned an aura around themselves, energy swirling in their hands as they condense it together at their side. With a call of its name, he'd let it roar forward, the power of the man growing drastically as it shoots forward. The gray mass of ki tears through the ground as it zooms towards Etohn. A brief look of surprise comes over the Half-Saiyans face as he senses the raw power contained within it. In a burst of speed, he darts backwards at an angle, the beam barely not clipping him as it shoots past him into the distance. "Phew, quite the attack there," he chortles, wiping his brow as he returns his gaze to Thast. "Kinda put all your eggs in a basket there, though. Ain't too hard to deal with one attack being thrown my way, y'know. Should try somethin' more like this." Extending his right hand forwards, a small void-like rift would briefly appear in front of his palm before quickly issuing out a large sword, it's edge glistening brightly, the Half-Saiyan's ki crackling as it flows through its steel. With his blue aura bursting out around him, Etohn launches himself towards Thast, his blade cleaving through their air as an overhead chop is swung at them. Following that, Etohn would give himself a boost in the air, trying to tackle into the Human with his shoulder, and continuing with that momentum, spin in the air as he swings the weapon towards Thast's back. Things were starting to pick up, and not for the best. Any chance the earthling had of winning the encounter was slowly fading away. At the very least, his opponent wasn't familiar with the spirit bomb technique, if that had been a spirit bomb, the fight may have ended then and there. "To a degree, your right. I'll learn to control it soon enough. Fights like this help me maintain that kind of power." little did he know the vicious combination of attacks that were about to come his way. Before him, the man materialized a sword! He had never seen a technique like this before, maybe Dain had, but certainly not him. Within a matter of seconds, the blade would be overhead, about to come down on top of him with a new aura surrounding it. Etohn was fast, but Thast wouldn't allow himself to be hit by such an attack. He would instead, quickly sway to his right, narrowly dodging the blade. Unfortunately, this maneuver would send him right into the half-saiyan's next two attacks! He would first be plowed in the chest by a flung shoulder, and then take a sword slash to the back. A small amount of blood would fly from his back, painting the ground below. "Not bad, but I've got some fancy moves of my own!"Thast would decide to stay in close range, despite the failure he had had in it so far. Rearing back his right arm, he would first attempt to land a right hook on Etohn's jaw, but then follow up with a round house kick directed at the man's side. Etohn BATTLE TRACKER SUMMARY

Pulling his blade back after cutting into Thast's back, Etohn sees the followup attacks from the man coming easily, slapping aside their hand and leg with the flat of his sword, stopping their attacks dead in their tracks. The guy seemed to have some pretty strong ki attacks, but their capabilities at a close range were definitely lackluster. With their inefficient energy control and inabilty to fight him up close, this was already looking to be over. A bit of a sad thought, since they seemed to confident in trying to fight somebody new at the start. "Alright, I'm just going to tell you this right now. You can't beat me. Sure, you can get some pretty big attacks off, but you're not gonna get very far if that's all you've got. For example..." Extending his left hand out now, a matching blade to what he already held appeared. Taking it in his hand, he slashes out with the swords, a small flurry of strikes before flying back, chucking the weapons at the Human. Clenching his hands closed, the blades would detonate, even if they missed their mark, to try and catch the man in its explosion. Dusting himself off, Etohn says, "...like that. Hard to dodge when I vary up my strategy, even if it's just a variation of what I already do." BATTLE TRACKER Action Summary:

As much as Thast hated to admit it, he was out classed here. What seemed to be even worse was that his opponent had picked up on his strategy! It was true he wasn't best at close range fighting, his melee attacks were far to fancy and flashy to do much serious damage. He mainly got into close range to either test someone's capabilities or show off his superiority. In this case he was doing neither, just loosing a fight was all. Thast would bring his hands up to guard the first slash, but the next that came his way would not miss, creating a clear cut across his left shoulder. He would continue to stay in the defensive by weaving through the multitude of attacks coming his way. "If I can just get one hit in! You'll see!" As the flurry of attacks had finally stopped for a moment, Thast would try to create some distance between Ethon and himself. He would begin flying several hundred feet away, and fire a ki blast at the half-Saiyan slow his foe's approach. Once the earthling had finally reached his destination, he would begin breathing heavily and quickly, trying to draw out more power. "This fight may not be mine to win. But, I'll be damned if I just give it to you." BATTLE TRACKER SUMMARY

The guy was tenacious, that was for sure. With how weak they felt now, they were surely at the end of their ropes, but they weren't giving up. Retreating further away, they shot out a ki blast towards Etohn, which he slaps to the wayside. Even with the force he felt behind the attack, it just felt too slow and clumsily constructed to have been a threat. By this point, he almost felt bad about how little of an effect their attacks have had on him. They said that they're not going to make this a really easy win for him, but they were practically through their second wind already. By this point, it would probably be better to knock them out so they don't accidentally hurt themselves. "Alright buddy, I think it's about time we tried to end this," Etohn mutters, cracking his neck before conjuring a metallic bo staff into his hands. Zooming from his spot so quickly as to leave an afterimage, he appears directly above Thast, swinging down hard with his new weapon against them. Continuing with that momentum, Etohn twists around in the air, swinging his staff forward like a bat into their right arm, finishing with a quick pivot of the other end of it to strike into their jaw. Well, despite all the talk of being unstoppable, and how he would give Ethon a run for his money, The earthling would be stopped dead in his tracks by a mighty blow from the half-Saiyan's conjured staff. The winds and clouds seemed to part as the blow was landed, a miniature sonic boom of sorts would occur as the attack cause him to fall from the sky at a rapid pace and then suddenly impact the ground like a missile. The earthling would now find himself inside a small crater, covered in dirt and his own blood. Thast wasn't dead, that much was certain, but he did need medical help. Thankfully his ship wouldn't be too far away. After a few seconds, Thast would begin to crawl out of the hole. He didn't plan on continuing to fight. He had been beaten. "I don't even know your name" he would cough. "but your a damn good fighter! we'll have to meet again some time..." The earthling's consciousness would slip. His power level would fall to a measly ten as his body lied dormant.
In the sky above the two, the massive warcrusher would reappear. This would be Thast's ride back into outer space. He only hoped Ethon would be willing to let him escape. He was one of the greatest opponents the earthling had ever faced after all, and he wanted to remember Ethon. Perhaps some day they would engage in another massive fight!

With Thast crashing into the ground, Etohn already knew that they probably weren't going to get back up anytime soon. Pulling the weapon back into a small portal he formed, he prepares to leave the area. The sounds of large ships approaching probably meant that they were going to get immediate medical help, at least, so he had no real reason to stay. Still, he got all riled up for a fight and it ended before it could even start getting fun. "Well, that was...something. Probably should get back to the hotel for that Bingo game I signed up for...Nah, not in the mood anymore. Might just get a takeout meal and check out the city or something. Ooh, I wonder if they've got arcades. Been years since I've played an arcade machine..." Muttering to himself, Etohn rethinks his plans for the day as he begins flying back to his initial location. He wasn't in a rush to get started on it all, and getting there would get some of this energy out of his body. "But man, that Human guy seems like they could get pretty strong...Might need to try and fight them again in the future. See if they go somewhere with that." Who knows, perhaps they'd end up being the next Etohn on the block. Tags: Thast Rowens
