Scorched Palace, Hollow
Operating in the shadows was not a foreign feeling to the Android. On the contrary, being in the public eye had brought about a great feeling of discomfort, and he found himself relieved to no longer be in that position
Much had changed in the last month. The Android Scientist had gone from a proud Leviathan, soon to weasel his way into an officer position to one of the most powerful factions in the galaxy, serving as a loyal adviser to Galactic Emperor Absolut. However, such was not meant to be, for after all the trouble the Leviathans went through extracting Absolut from the Pukinpa capital on Kabocha, they only returned to give control of the state to Eis, under the guise of "Regent". A hopeless idealist, jaded by her own helplessness to do anything against the husband whose ideals she disagreed with. And despite the scientist's lack of prior experience when it came to the finer arts of politics, he held enough knowledge to know a burning ship when he saw one, and jumped off immediately. He had made clear that his resignation was from the Empire, and not the Leviathans, and had such retreated back to Hollow.
Yet, that left the question, what now?
A much harder question then one would be led to believe. Ever since he had freed himself from the chains that Doctor Evelyn Janus had wrapped around him, the question regarding his purpose in the universe had been one that remained pressed on the man's mind. What was his purpose in this universe. Originally, he had believed it fit to save man from themselves, to subject society to one, unified rule, and dissolve cultural and societal barriers, and break down Xenophobic tendencies in favor of pure cooperation amongst organics. But since his resignation, he had begun to question even that. Why...why should he care about organics? Sure, there were a few that he cared about, such as Demon King Lute and Baroness Kuueru. And then there were quite a few more who he held interest in, either in a business capacity...or simply a matter of talent, such as Emperor Absolut, Andrew C. Creed, and Tora no Seishin. However, the vast majority of organics failed to impress him...and they had done nothing but enslave him and other artificial lifeforms. He was created to be a tool to man, so why should he help uplift them. His prerogative, he realized, is simply the same it has always been...self improvement, to strive towards perfection.
Hence this visit was first on his agenda.
So far, his goal to collect DNA from who he considered the "worthiest men and women in the galaxy" had proven successful. As of right now, he possessed human DNA samples from Tora no Seishin, Saiyan DNA samples from Zarun and Legume (although the latter had proven to be quite the anomaly under further observation, so Kaijin tabled the specimen sample for later), Namekian DNA samples from Kaijin's bout with Demon King Lute, as well as DNA samples from Kaijin's bout with the Namekian Warrior known as Cress, and Demon DNA from the likes of the Demon Queen herself, Amatricina the Avaricious. Unfortunately, even though the Demon Queen was no doubt an excellent specimen, and her DNA would prove invaluable, Kaijin found the sample of her blood much too unstable to incorporate into any form of biological weapon, her blood near molten in composition, like fresh lava that spewed forth from a volcano. So, Kaijin needed another specimen. Another Demon.
Kuueru.
Since arriving back on Hollow, Kaijin had remained in regular contact with the newly made Queen of Hollow. Private, informal visits to talk with her over tea, and discuss the nature of the kingdom in which she now ruled. But other than that, the scientist had remained down within the shadows of his own laboratory, with the only company he kept being his few automated lab assistants, who scurried about and performed their various tasks for the good doctor. But this time, Kaijin had decided to request a formal audience. It was only fitting that business matters go through the proper channels. He was never one to abuse his personal relationships with people in order to get special treatment....well, rather, he was never one to make his abuse obvious enough for it to be recognized as such.
Walking up the grand steps to the palace, Kaijin was donned in the same attire in which he usually sported, his blue overcoat flapping in the wind behind him. As he approached the entrance to the palace, he could immediately see the Palace Guard moving forward to address him. They recognized him, of course. One who was familiar and on friendly terms with the likes of Demon King Lute and Queen Kuueru was bound to be quickly recognized by those who had aspirations of a higher station themselves, yet protocol dictated they run through the formalities nonetheless. Holding up a hand to silence them as they approached, Kaijin went ahead to identify his reason for attendance.
"I have a formal audience with the Queen. She is expecting me."

ICE COLD It had been a strenuous month or so. Since the introduction of Emperor Absolut, the demoness had her hands full not only with her normal Imperial duties but guiding young Absolut as well. Besides the Empire, Kuueru was also tossed the crown to Hollow from Lute. He had declared himself unfit to serve as a ruler and painted Kuueru as Hollow's new leader. With a background in magical arts, dark energy, and a charisma that wrapped it all up; the woman was quite the teacher. She had been hard at work with the Aetherguard, building up their numbers, abilities, and the best strategy to plan them in if a battle ever came to her humble planet. Hollow mostly stuck to itself. Just recently opened to trade, the people were starting to see the benefit of an open economy and exotic goods. Under Kuueru's rule, there had even been new arrivals to the planet though; they came at the word of a benevolent leader and magical resources that rivaled that of the Konatsians. She would normally be amongst the high mages of Hollow, however, today she had other plans. Her heavy steps echoed amongst the elaborate marble she had installed throughout the castle. Lute's ideal of a burnt palace of malevolence was a bit edgy even by Kuueru's standards. The air and feel of the atmosphere was eloquent, peaceful, yet provocative. Kuueru awaited her audience in a meeting room meant for the most lavish of guests. Not many people had stepped foot into these wings since updated, yet Kuueru had big plans for the future of Hollow. Her aim was to take the investments initially collected by Lute, and to invest them into something fruitful. She had her eggs all in a row, she just needed the time to piece everything together. It only took a brief moment for the head of her personal guard to arrive with a quick yet humble salute. "My queen! There is a guest. A white-haired man who claims to be your audience for the day. It seems Doctor Kaijin Vex is here," The man clad in intricate robes replied. Of course, they were here. It was the time, the place, and the person. "Let him in, direct him to the boardroom. Prepare the hot chocolate," Kuueru uttered. Perhaps the last request would have thrown most off, but this group of servants had worked under Kaijin in the past. They knew that that android didn't take his sugary treats for granted. One of the servants scurried off to prepare the beverages, another back to greet Kaijin. Kuueru sat upon a modest throne, her body clad in crimson and gold. Upon her head and elaborate headdress of phoenixes and pearls decorated her crown of pink hair. She carried a solemn look, but one that was filled with exhaustion. She sat quietly, her eyes searching for her teammate and former tournament partner. Kaijin was a person she had quite a few missions with. He was someone she relied on and had trusted with her life. The guards would quickly come back to the doctor before allowing him access to the main palace. Elaborate pillars and columns decorated the walkways. It was a serene and short walk towards the boardroom which was a rather large area with a table and multitude of chairs. Today however it was just Kuueru and a few of her trusted Aetherguard as protection. The woman would look towards the arrival, her lips curving into a grin before she adjusted herself in her seat. "Ahh, it's good to see you. I'm sure you've been quite busy since our last meeting, at least, I know I have," The woman opened up, her lavish red robes flowing with her hand motions.

Kaijin had been to the palace once before.
Although, he he had to admit he had only seen a portion of the Scorched Palace. In the first few days of Kaijin's initiation into the Leviathans, Lute had brought him to the arena within the palace, and had challenged the Android to battle. Even though Kaijin was well aware of Lute's superior strength, he had never known extent of the gap between them. The fight showed that, where Lute struck with a ferocity and twisted power well beyond what the Android had ever faced before that point. In fact, out of all the Leviathans, Kaijin was effectively the weakest. Of course, he didn't mind such a fact. He was a scientist first, and a warrior second. Nevertheless, it was within these walls that he first began to bond with the members of the Leviathan. Where, through struggle, he had gained the respect of one of the most powerful beings in the galaxy. The beginning of a series of adventures.
Those memories kept him here. Kaijin retired from the Galactic Empire, yes, but never would the day come where he would abandon the Leviathans. They were the closest people to friends he had. No, they were his friends. His only friends in the galaxy, the only ones who truly treated him as more than just a tool. More than an Android. He was a person. Kuueru said it himself, only for Lute to second it.
It brought a smile to his lips as he was escorted throughout the ornate building, basking in the warm and pleasant ambience of the lovely palace. The Aetherguard who stood by his side ever stoic as they surrounded him. Even though he was an acquaintance to the queen, and at one time of a higher station then most of them, they had to ensure the Queen's safety, and despite them knowing Kaijin, the Android's secretive nature, and tendency to vanish down in that lab of his for long periods of time, brought about quite the wild fantasies as to what he was doing down there.
Kaijin made no effort to dispel such notions. A few rumors here and there never hurt...and Kaijin always preferred it when people treated him with a certain degree of caution. It kept the unworthy from becoming too comfortable, and attracted the worthy even more than before, bringing about an ever-flowing stream of worthy subjects. There was little doubt that Kuueru had probably heard the side-talk as to whatever fantastical creatures of legend the "cave scientist" was brewing in his underground lab, where few ever traversed. It would certainly make for quite the interesting discussion over hot cocoa.
And there she was, as gorgeous as ever. Although Kaijin held no romantic feelings for anyone, nor was he positive he could even feel such strong emotion, he was not one to hide his admiration for someone who fit the mold of his standard of beauty, and the sight of Kuueru, garbed in her royal attire and ornate jewelry certainly fit the mold.
Bowing his head, Kaijin addressed Queen Kuueru.
"Lovely as always, Kuueru." Kaijin spoke, his ever smooth voice flowing from his lips, always sounding as if he barely spoke above a whisper, yet his voice carried rather clearly anyway. His red eyes shifting to take in the throne room, he decided to comment further.
"You added lights, and actually made the palace into a palace, instead of the aftermath of a warzone." Kaijin commented, referring to the previous appearance of the scorched palace, in which Demon King Lute preferred to leave the palace....well...scorched.
"We've both been busy, you more likely so then me. So tell me...how is it like, being the Queen of an entire planet? Especially one as...peculiar as Hollow? Come, let us move to someplace more private as we discuss, and catch up on life." Kaijin gestured, allowing Kuueru to take the lead on where to go within the palace, where they could speak without fear of too many listening ears.

ICE COLD The welcoming area of the palace was extravagant of course. The monarchy had to meet its guests with the most pristine of formalities and appearances. It didn't matter who walked through that door, poor or major influencers in the galaxy; Kuueru would treat them all as guests who were the top priority in her kingdom. To be honest, the woman was a bit lost in the beginning. She had never ruled over anything. The closest experience she had was her commander status in the First Galactic Empire. She had worked with hundreds of soldiers and pushed them to their limits. She had worked on building a good reputation within the Empire, as well as raising Ultramarines with values instead of ex criminals who just wanted bloodshed. Besides that, she had her hands full with the reformation of Hollow. She had instilled many programs on this eloquent planet since her time in power. Formal magical schools and training. Increased trade of magical goods once monopolized by certain races. Kuueru was aiming to open the door of magical fighting to the universe, and by sending her formally trained men and women into the field, hopefully Hollow would get the notoriety it needed to become a major player in things. Alas, that was all talk for the future. Right now, Kaijin was walking in with his familiar looking garb. While externally the woman shifted a bit in appearance in comparison, it was still Kuueru. Her smile made sure of that. The dazzling pearly whites of the demoness made their appearance as soon as Kaijin spoke. Of course, it was a comment about 'her loveliness'. Her cheeks flustered, but she waved a dismissive hand towards the man before prying herself from the marble formed throne. She approached the android doctor as he noticed her renovations and threw some slight shade towards Lute's preferences in interior decorating. "Hahaha, my my, you noticed the changes? Yes, I thought that the old palace look was a bit intimidating and broody, like the Demon King himself; or whatever it is he calls himself these days," Kuueru uttered, her mind beginning to wonder towards her former partner in crime. The green Namekian had been away for quite a while. Last Kuueru had heard he was spending more time with Tora, another close friend of hers as well. Knowing the two they were off training and throwing giant rocks at one another. Either way, they were fine, surely. Though, there was a big gap in the universe without Lute's familiar demonic energy. She grew worried. "Being queen?" Kuueru paused on Kaijin's question as they walked. Her heels clicked against the immaculate and reflective floors. They were so polished if one were hypervigilant they may be able to sneak a peak up the Queen's garb. Of course, Kaijin was much more interested in something else about the demi-demon. The woman opened the door to the initial meeting room. She wasn't naïve however, she knew that eventually they would need to travel to Kaijin's area of expertise. Some sort of medical facility or lab would do. Hollow was home to some of the best alchemists in the galaxy, so this palace would be as good of a place as any for the doctor to extract the DNA that he had requested the first day they had met. Kuueru laughed at the thought before backtracking to Kaijin's question on being monarch of a place like Hollow. She took a seat at the table, her lavender hues locking onto the intent crimson gaze of the android. "Hollow feels the closest thing to home other than creating a rift and going there myself. The difference? Something won't crawl out of a crag and eat me in the middle of the night. I enjoy this realm of mortals, their carefree nature amongst leviathans in this galaxy," Kuueru provided an unintentional pun; but it was true. With people around with power that overshadowed her own, Kuueru was still on guard. Especially if Hollow were to break out and be a major chess piece in the game of the universe's twisted ways. "Things are going well, I'm working on getting our initial residence more courageous to venture out to other planets in the universe. They were locked on this planet of ignorance by the Triumvirate before Lute and I took over this place. We came here initially because of the demonic energy that somehow seeps into Hollow. It was like an odd leak or anomaly between the realms, it drew me in like bait, and I haven't left."Kuueru gave a quick backstory which she was sure the doctor had heard before. "People certainly prefer me to Lute in terms of a leader though. He was always just a bit too brash," Kuueru chuckled, her ornately painted fingernails tapping upon the table. "What has been your focus? It's been too long," Kuueru spoke as a woman clad in ornate Aetherguard robes walked in with a thermos and two cups. It was hot chocolate of course. She poured herself a mug before offering Kaijin the same.

His focus?
Interesting how the first question, supposed to be one of the opening lines in order to ease into discussion, could trump him so.
The walk to the meeting room was a brief one, yet one wrought with discussion, as Kuueru regaled Kaijin as to her experiences as Queen thus far. Interestingly enough, most of what she had to report was positive, and despite her relatively new station, and her words hinting towards it being an adjustment, she was handling things well. Although, perhaps it shouldn't come as a surprise. Kuueru's pleasant and carefree disposition could cause someone to easily forget that she was Supreme Commander of the Empire's Armed Forces, and one of the most important people in the galaxy by an extension of that title. She led millions for who knew how long before this, so surely Hollow wasn't that new of an experience. Merely a different culture, and confined to a singular planet...or planetoid.
Deciding to sit down at the table along with his friend, he listened intently as Kuueru spoke as to how her and Lute had found the planetoid in the first place. Although he could not hope to detect all the demonic energy on the planet without overloading his energy sensors, he could understand how such could attract the likes of them. Kuueru was a demon after all, it was in her nature to conjure up demonic energy and to be attracted to such presences in the galaxy. Lute, on the other hand, despite his status as a Namekian, also held great prowess in the demonic arts once upon a time, able to conjure up quite the demonic aura at a moment's notice. Lute was next on Kaijin's little hunt for his comrades. He needed an explanation as to what changed. How could the infamous Demon King Lute suddenly become....just Lute?
Now we were getting off topic.
"Under your leadership, I'm sure Planet Hollow's future is bright. I've seen the wonders of the Aetherguard and this planet's many inhabitants. The feats they can produce...they are different from my own. I can only work by the limits of natural science and my knowledge. The other scientists I have had the pleasure of observing..call upon that and more. I can't help but envy them. It makes me aspire to be better....the universe deserves to see what Hollow can offer..."
The big question was still looming overhead. What was his focus? He aspired to be better, yes, but how? He knew why he was here. He was here to collect DNA from Kuueru, and he knew exactly what he was going to do with it. But....what after that? That was still the question, was it?
"Oh, marvelous!" Kaijin exclaimed as the servant brought in the thermos along with the two cups. Upon opening the thermos after Kuueru poured her own share, Kaijin took a moment to close his eyes and bask in the sweet aroma. These days, hot chocolate was one of the few pleasures that he still allowed himself in that bleak, dark laboratory. After pouring himself a cup and taking a long, deep gulp, he set the mug down to answer Kuueru.
"My focus? Well, I frankly do not know what my long range focus is. For the first time, since my creation...my path is unclear. I do not know what lays twenty steps ahead of me before I even take that first step. I know what I'd like to do...but as far as to what I will do one year in the future...well, that is where my insight ends. A new, albeit truly frightening prospect for me. However, I continue to sit with my journal every day....to think about it. Perhaps, it is my fate to return to Andrew Creed on Tech Tech, and continue to create cybernetics enhancements for him, as well as get the funding to work on improving myself indefinitely. Well, if I even need technology to self improve after this..." He said before trailing off. A perfect lead into the subject of this visit.
"I desire to become an organic, Kuueru. A Bio-Android, as the commercial term deems it. An Android of biological creations, an egg consisting of a plethora of compatible genes, and then placed in a reactive growth solution, and allowed to then mature. Usually...a Bio Android is a living life form, born as naturally born children are, except grown under different circumstances of course, given I just explained the growth culture. However, the one I wish to create will be a vessel for me to operate it. As I lack a soul...my datachip will have to do. With the blueprints I have made...I should be able to construct a vessel in which my datachip can merge with, and reincarnate myself in a living, breathing form. The process will weaken me considerably, to a level of power less than one percent of my current power level based on my calculations...but the benefits are so much greater."
"I currently have DNA from a Saiyan by the name of Zarun, from the Super Saiyan Legume, from Tora no Seishin, from Demon King Lute, as well as another Namekian Warrior by the name of Cress. In addition, I have a DNA sample belonging to a demoness known as Amatricina the Avaricious, however, her DNA proves too unstable to be used for my purposes. Thus, I wish for a DNA sample from you, my dear. You have interested me since I first met you, and my continued observance of you has only solidified my decision to collect from you. Will you assist me in my journey to perfection?"

ICE COLD Kaijin spoke back to her with optimistic words about Hollow's future under her rule. It only made the grin upon the demoness's lips grow wider. She nodded silently, her tired eyes looking as the man poured himself a glass of hot cocoa. Marshmallows bobbed and frothed in the goopy desert beverage. The woman took a long sip of her mug, a small chocolate mustache coating her upper lip before she greedily licked it away. "I see. It is a shame that you'll never be able to feel that in your current state. I couldn't imagine," Kuueru spoke solemnly. While an android couldn't wield magic nor reap its benefits, someone like Kuueru could easily manifest things out of thin air. There was not even a need for a servant to bring the hot cocoa when she could summon it. Alas, that took energy, and her reservoir wasn't limitless. The doctor ran over the options that his path could take. Some included partnering with other bright minds and producing cybernetics for himself. Alas, that thought trailed off into other blockades and he quickly redirected himself. "Yes, for someone as bright as you, I'm sure you could seek out and obtain nearly anything you need to upgrade yourself. I suppose times just not keeping up with you fast enough. The things you want are probably not even in development yet."Kuueru then started to piece the puzzle together as he explained his desire to become organic. It was an odd thought. She hadn't thought more about androids as a being. She had assumed they were at least some kind of natural being. They were so lifelike they couldn't just be metal machines through and through. Kuueru listened intently to the man, his words rolling from his tongue like better as he named off the list of people he had taken the DNA of. The list was long, many people around the same stature of her in terms of power. Even Lute gave his DNA to Kaijin, who would she be to deny him. She wasn't quite sure what would make her genetics different from the other demon he extracted from; but she also hadn't met that Demon Queen wither. "I see, I see, Starting anew sounds rather intimidating. However, if it's worth it to you then that's all that matters. Power isn't everything, and let's face it, most of what makes you, well, you, is what's inside that head."Kuueru's face shifted to a serious expression as she stood from her chair and walked towards the doctor's side. She took a seat upon the surface of the table and was careful not to disturb the drinks in her way. "I'm not sure how I could have interested you more than your list of donators. Alas, I do owe you this, I've been saying it since before the tournament after all," Kuueru nodded as she spoke. "I'm ready if you are, if you were suggesting that we move forward with it today." Kuueru uttered while crossing one leg over the other. "My facilities or yours?"
Kuueru shot a teasing wink before she burst into laughter from her suggestive speech. At least the demoness seemed to be in good spirits despite all the new burdens and responsibilities she faces. "Perhaps you can even help me to reach perfection too eh? Maybe I have some crazy disease?" Kuueru was on a tangent now, but she was easily reeled back in by Kaijin.

Her response was rather interesting.
She thought so highly of him. Why was that? I mean, they had been through much together, so perhaps that was why. They fought together in Shroomy's Invitational, they fought together, along with Lute, in the rescue of the future Galactic Emperor, and they journeyed out on a lovely trip to Planet Liberty, in which they helped dismantle a terrorist organization. Exactly how many deadly adventures were typically required before the respective allies could truly get to know one another? It was new territory for the Android. Never before did he feel he could rely on anyone. His journeys mostly consisted of him either operating solo, or him being used by someone else, as was the case with Kazabada-Kavra, all that time ago on Earth. Never before had he been treated like an ally...like a person. Kuueru and Lute treated him as more than just a machine, more than just a tool. It was something he appreciated, and something that spurred him to make this change. So that it was more than just a feeling. He wanted it to be reality.
"Your kind words are much appreciated. It is a frightening concept, to be honest. The level of power I predict myself having....I have not possessed since the end of my initial training in the bowels of my creators' lab. It is interesting, to think I have come so far, and have entered into a new echelon of existence, with more powerful foes floating over the horizon, and instead of progressing forward in terms of pure strength, I instead choose to regress. But, at the same time, I am not afraid of it. As you said, my talents were never in the fields of combat. Not since I disposed of my oppressive creators. I am not a warrior, I am a scientist. A creator. I desire to further my own knowledge, while helping my allies all the same." Kaijin's eyes widened a moment afterwards, as he seemed to come to a realization.
The good doctor had an idea. Yet, the Android was never one to just come out and say it. No, he was never that blunt. Instead, as a great deal of scholars are, he has to preface everything with a long, drawn out explanation as to his ideas, and exactly how it would work. Of course, in this day in age where informed consent was a must in the medical world, such habits were invaluable, but in everyday conversation, it would often make anyone tune out to the doctor's words.
Not that he knew that. Shhh, don't tell him.
"Why am I interested in you? Because I have observed you the longest, and the most thoroughly. Three times, we have been in the midst of battle, have risked our lives together, and have depended on each other to succeed. And my trust in you was not ill-placed, nor was your faith in me. In Shroomy's, we capitalized upon the weakness of our enemies, and managed to secure victory, even through the trials that Tora no Seishin and Legume put us through before we put them down. Then, on Kabocha, we coordinated a strike to extract the Emperor, and it went relatively well, despite shifts in strategy. And, we survived that mess of an operation on Planet Liberty, which I believe speaks volumes within itself." Kaijin spoke, briefly retelling the story of their numerous exploits.
"You and Lute have shown me tremendous power well beyond what I could deem possible. The energy you showcased in Shroomy's...right before you dispatched Tora no Seishin, your energy took on a completely different feel. I was so accustomed to sensing your demonic-tinged energy, yet it shifted in those final moments. I cannot classify it, but it interested me greatly. Not only that, but you have an intellect beyond many. The ability to adapt to a plethora of situations, and to think under pressure. You have saved the day on multiple occasions. So the question I ask you is this....how can I not be interested?"
Kaijin held his hand up, as he took a pause to drink his hot chocolate, basking in the sweet, savory taste. Putting the mug down, he took a napkin to dab at his lips, wiping off the excess chocolate, before continuing.
"Your talk of reaching perfection gave me an idea. You are helping me by providing me with the final puzzle of DNA I need in order to collect my set and create my newest vessel. And I, in turn, can help you. Within my lab, is a drug known as "Cyclone". It's original purpose was to serve as a combat stimulant meant to last in the body for twelve hours after injection via syringe. The stimulant was meant to increase reaction time and awareness ten fold as well as dramatically increase physical strength and improve upon focus. With these enhanced attributes, Cyclone patients would theoretically prove faster, smarter and stronger than they would otherwise. However, it got me thinking...if I could produce a drug that could increase these attributes temporarily...why not permanently? Science is ever-improving, and with it I managed to develop a better version of the Cyclone Drug...although it is a prototype. A drug that is capable of extracting one's latent potential, and bringing it to the surface. Unlocking the hidden power that lies deep within each organic. I have tested it several times on various organics, but each test has only resulted in....near lethal results. However, you are not exactly a mortal. You are a demon, an otherworldly being. You have a different level of resilience, a different biological makeup. You are made of something....not of this realm. The drug works, I am sure of it, it is that the bodies of those I tried it on were not able to handle the extraction of so much energy. The process was too much, and their bodies gave out. You have a much greater chance of surviving. Of becoming stronger, faster...smarter. More aware of the universe."
"I can bring out your potential, if you trust me. I would not suggest it to you, if I believed you could not make it. Allow me, to usher you into a new plane of existence."

ICE COLD Kuueru could note the change in Kaijin’s features at the praise she spoke of him. Though he was an android, his features and programming made it nearly impossible to point that out. If not for his unchanging crimson gaze, Kuueru wouldn’t have batted an eye at the doctor. She shot him a smile as she too reminisced on the time they had spent together over the past months. Fight after fight. He would be considered a long time comrade of the woman; she perhaps even fought along his side more than the Demon King himself. Kuueru leaned forward, her intricate jewelry and decorations chiming with her every move. No, she didn’t dress so immaculately for Kaijin, though he was rather handsome. In actuality, Kuueru had quite the lineup today. Meetings with important leaders, discussion about the economy of her planet, and of course—the backlog of paperwork that sat on her desk in Mitra. She let out a sigh as her happy memories faded into the plethora of responsibilities that she now carried. Still, she loved it, her job, and staying busy. It kept her from blowing up half the galaxy after all, right? Kaijin opened his mouth after she said her bit. She was rather talkative for once, especially when it came to a one on one interaction with someone. Finally however, Kaijin was talking. She listened to him speak on his worry on the unknown as well as the prospect of losing this power she had come to know him for. The Demoness nodded as he spoke, her lavender hues never once breaking from his gaze. “I see. I’m just glad that you can say for certain what it is you want. I have no doubt that your loss of power will be detrimental to you other than in the ways you said; combat. Still, with powerful allies, perhaps you won’t be so bad off after all. Even after you left the Empire, even if you leave Hollow, I am glad to have met you Kaijin.” Kuueru spoke, before Kaijin got onto more about her. Why he was interested in her still despite having met so many more interesting creatures amongst the stars. It was true though, they have known each other a long while. He sensed her trust and sincerity. Either Kuueru was a very good liar, or she was indeed being earnest with the doctor. Perhaps not all demons fit the mold of evil and rude. Maybe Kuueru was a new breed. Could it be she was new hope for the bridge between demons and their mortal counterparts? Alas, she could also be full of shit too. “Hm, I suppose I see your point yes. We have been through a lot together huh? Well then, I guess it only makes sense that you be interested in my DNA then. Time flies when you’re having fun so they say. . .” Kuueru uttered, before her body leaned back into the oddly shaped office chair she sat. “Still, you’re right. I felt a change that day too. That last ditch effort to just be done with a fight. The last feelings I felt that day before the battle was over. It was as if I blacked out, lost consciousness; yet my body was clearly there, and moving still.” Kuueru recounted the battle from her perspective. It was crazy to think that she couldn’t recollect much in that fight after the block of ice she had used to save herself. Whatever happened, it scared her. Greatly. “I just want to know what it is, what triggers it, and if it’s going to be a hindrance,” Kuueru declared while watching the man sip at his hot chocolate. Though, Kaijin wasn’t finished just yet. His words kept flowing, perhaps sparked by some sort of inspiration. Suddenly the topic of discussion had moved to what she got out of all this. Sure, a super drug created to increase her overall power was enticing. Would she feel the same way about a power she hadn’t obtained with her own hands? Or did the demonic voices in her head push her towards accepting Kaijin’s offer willy nilly? The woman paused as he continued on, her eyes finally breaking his for the first time. She looked towards the hot chocolate that sat in front of the doctor for a moment. “So, I become a guinea pig for your experimental drugs. Hm.” Kuueru spoke as she thought about his offer in depth. Who’s to say what really ran rampant in the man’s syringe? Still, this was a man she had grown to trust. He never did anything to break that trust, and neither had Kuueru to him. They were on the same page, the demoness would agree to it. “Fine. So be it, though---needles aren’t the thing I’m fondest over; just an FYI,” the woman warned while forming what looked like a syringe with her hands. She pretended to shoot herself in the shoulder before stretching idly. “You get your missing puzzle piece, I get mine. We both win. All right, let us proceed,” Kuueru spoke, the two guards accompanying her opening the door as the queen ushered her android companion back out of the room. It would be a bit of a walk, a few elevators, and a bit of chit chat before they made it to her private medical bay; however, it had everything they could possibly need to function. Hell, if Kaijin weren’t a doctor there is a full staff on call for any and all of her needs. “Ah, here.” Kuueru stated as her guards opened the door to what appeared to be a showroom of different equipment. Medical tanks, exam tables, supplies through the roof. There were a few Aetherguard seeking attention for their wounds, but this area was only for the most elite of patients.

And with that, the pact was sealed. The last piece of his puzzle to attain a new form was as good as his, and in turn he was to help Kuueru realize her full potential. Part of him questioned whether this was a good idea. As far as the new, enhanced version of Cyclone was involved, all test subjects involved nearly died as a result of the drug. Kaijin did say that Kuueru was different, probably different, due to the fact that she was not a result of any organic species spawning from this realm. She was a demon. The antithesis of the Shinjins, yet holding such otherworldly powers nonetheless. Kaijin was no stranger to Kuueru's magic, having been privy to it several times, although most of the time it had to do with a disguise in some way, shape or form. However, did that really make a difference? Kaijin was no expert on demonic anatomy, and despite Kuueru's otherworldly makeup, she was capable of being killed. She was vulnerable to being killed by external means. With that in mind, was it possible that she could be killed by the Cyclone Drug? Or brought as close to it, as the others were?
No, she had to live. Kaijin believed she would. He was not one for simple blind faith. She was much stronger than his other subjects, for starters, so there was a notable difference between her body's thresholds and that of the people she tested. Then there was the biological components and main differences, and then there was the woman's resilience within itself. Her desire to grow stronger was paramount. From day one, Kuueru had expressed a desire to better herself and improve her own power, a sentiment that initiated Kaijin's initial attraction to both her and Lute. They reflected the same ideals he did. Willpower and blatant refusal to die often had a powerful effect on one's survival rate. If he could capitalize on that, and a few more aspects, Kuueru could definitely pull through it.
He will capitalize on that.
"I'm glad to have met you too." Kaijin started, before delving into the topic of her peculiar transformation.
"I can't even begin to give explanation as to the truth of your form. However...perhaps administering Cyclone can shed more light to it, at least by bringing it to the forefront. At first glance, it seems to be some form of transformation that you do not have ready access to. Attached to emotional trigger? Some form of enhanced fight or flight mechanism, in which you bring out latent power? The possibilities are limitless. Perhaps...we can study it more."
As Kaijin stood up with Kuueru, with intent of moving the meeting to one of the Palace Medical Centers, he silently strode out into the hallway, with the Queen and her entourage right by his side. And along they went, through the grand, immaculate hallways on their way to the medical center. As they rode up one of the few elevators, Kaijin decided it best to assuage her concerns.
"You are not a guinea pig. I would never put you in a position like that, you are one of the few organics that I actually give a damn about." The usually expressionless Android said as he stepped out of the elevator once it reached its' destined floor.
"I will not allow you to die. I will move to increase every and all attributes to help push your survival along. I shall ensure that nothing is overlooked...and do all I can. From there, it is up to your willpower, and your sheer desire to get stronger, and to live. Think of it...as less of a cheat to get to the top, and consider the risk as the trial itself..." Kaijin said, as a brief way of encouragement, along with a warning, as he entered the medical facility. The Android made quick work of prepping for his injection, withdrawing the syringe from his work-kit, which he had interestingly kept hidden within his jacket. Moving to a nearby sink, the Android made sure to wash his hand, and pull on gloves, before removing the safeguards over the syringe. Calling over a few medical attendants, Kaijin ordered them to get him some rubbing alcohol, along with a few cotton swabs. Turning to Kuueru, the Android nodded
"We are to extract blood here first for my DNA sample, then we will migrate to my lab to administer the Cyclone Drug. Please prepare yourself while I finish preparing." The Android said, before returning to work, cleaning the syringe with a cotton swab that had been marked with alcohol. Ensuring that he was pleased, he moved over to Kuueru.
"Your arm."

ICE COLD "I'm glad to have met you too."
Kaijin's words were genuine. She could feel it. Still, it was always odd when the doctor went on his speeches about his friends or things that you wouldn't think an android would deal with. Alas, he was here, and about to take a piece of her. Surely to someone who didn't know the pair, it would be a weird act to even imagine. Kuueru knew that Kaijin would put her body's resources to the full use. Not only that, he was now talking about offering a way for her to gain power. Her skin tingles as goosebumps raised along her forearms. Kaijin went on explaining his interest in the transformation that she took at Shroomy's. Yes, that was something else she needed to dissect. Whatever power she had in that tiny moment was tremendous. It was enough to end the battle against Tora and Legume quickly and decisively. Yet, it did come out in a moment of desperation. Kuueru had not a lick of control over this form, the power it granted, or even being in her body for those moments. Maybe Kaijin was right. It was some sort of fight or flight, for she had no emotional attachment to anything in that tournament. Her lips curved into a grin. At least now that she knew she possessed such a powerful form, she could aim to rip it out again while in her own conscious state. At least, that was her hope. "I see your thought process. Alas, there was nothing emotional brewing within me. To be perfectly honest, I have a hard time with emotions. Coming to the mortal realm has presented me with a new moral scale. I can't act as I did before, I have appearances to keep up and people's trust to maintain."The queen declared, her body finding a stool to sit on within the pristine medical facility. All the while Kaijin began to ready his equipment and command her guard. She found herself smiling while watching the man react and preform. It was times like these that she didn't think of him as some mad experimental scientist, but an eager mind thinking forward to the future. Idle fingernails tapped against her arms while her arms nervously stayed folded over her chest. Then it hit her. A needle. Kaijin was talking about how she wasn't a guinea pig but she could hardly focus on his kind words of worry as she herself worried. She looked around cautiously, that was when the man prepared his weapon. The needle on the syringe had to have been six inches long. She anxiously sat, her wary eyes looking the man over as he explained everything. The risk, everything. She simply nodded. Life had been way too routine, she needed a taste of that fear. The attendants all returned with rubbing alcohol and supplies for the android. Kuueru looked at every move he made. She wanted to be prepared for the pain, yet her body being this tense didn't help anything. Then, he asked for her arm. The queen stumbled over her words before realizing she should stay quiet. She held out her arm, the sun kissed skin clean and blemish free. In the bend of her arm were several vibrant veins. Perfect picking for Kaijin to get his sample and them to move on. She lingered closely as the man worked, the sting of alcohol caused her nose to wrinkle with irritation. She watched the man work. His careful guided hand, his precision entrance, and his gentle touch. It didn't take long before the crimson essence would fill Kaijin's syringe and the pair could head to his place for their second 'date'. "Ahh, I suppose that wasn't so bad. . ." Kuueru accidentally uttered aloud. Her face flushed in embarrassment. What kind of demon was afraid of getting a shot or a blood draw, but took way worse injuries in most of their battles? Kuueru. That's who. "Man, I must say I'm curious about what that little bit of blood does for you. But, you never cease to amaze me Kaijin," Kuueru uttered under her breath before applying one of the spare cotton balls to her puncture wound. She looked towards her companion, her curious eyes locking onto him. "Soooo, your ship? Mine? Or magical teleportation?" The demoness inquired with a teasing tone.

It was how interesting, how organics worked. Kuueru, a woman who possessed a level of power that only few others in the galaxy could claim, a woman who accompanied him in infiltrating the heart of an enemy state, and extracting a Frost Demon boy, was afraid of needles. She was the Supreme Commander of the Imperial Military, and thus commanded over what could have been tens of thousands of soldiers. Her battle experience was compounded upon centuries of centuries of life in both the mortal realm, as well as the Demon Realm.
Yet, she was afraid of a needle.
If Kaijin were any other person, he would've openly laughed over such a revelation. Yet, he knew that treating her fears, however silly, with such carelessness was as unprofessional as it was irritating to his patient. His hands ran across the skin over her arm in practiced, smooth motions as he applied the alcohol swab, ensuring that no dirt or bacteria was to enter at the point of entry, or contaminate the needle in any way as it passed through the skin layers into the bloodstream. Placing a hand on her shoulder, Kaijin gave her one single instruction
"Relax" He spoke right before injecting her.
The drawing of blood took no more than two minutes to complete, which afterwards Kaijin made quick work with cleaning up his station, ensuring that the syringe was safely sealed for transport. Closing the lid on the casing, Kaijin's gaze slowly traveled back to Kuueru, and a small smile broke on his lips. It was almost too simple. To think, that the last puzzle to the man's long search to reach a greater form was as easy as a minute of blood collecting from a willing specimen.
"Excellent. We should probably move onto part two. I would suggest Magical Teleportation. You will find the laboratory to be located not too far from this location, yet a good ways underground. As I have observed, your teleportation ability requires a marker of sorts, yes? If this true, I will activate a beacon of stored Ki in my facility. The casing will explode, releasing a bright expulsion of Ki in the form of bright light within my laboratory. For that instance, an energy signature should pop upon your radar. You may not be familiar with the energy signature, however it is deep underground, so it is not exactly within a crowd. Its' isolated nature will ensure you do not teleport us anywhere but where we are supposed to be. Give me but a moment to contact my assistant."
And with that, Kaijin was off on the next stage of business, his hand gradually raising to his right ear, as if to activate a form of earpiece. However, a moment later the Android spoke once more, although he was not speaking to anyone in particular. In fact, he seemed to be giving his own systems a verbal command.
"Establish Hypernet Link to Vero." Kaijin said, and paused a moment as the connection was established. In the meantime, the man was quiet, with only the quiet footfalls of the scientists and doctors around them serving as noise pollution. Then, he perked up, signalling that the connection was established and he could proceed.
"Veronica. Release the seal of Project AAC. We will be using it as a marker. I will see you in two minutes." And with that, he cut the conversation, not even waiting to see whether his assistant had anything to say thereafter.
"Concentrate now. The Ki Signature will exist for a few seconds at best. If you miss it, I will need to instruct Vero to break the seal on another canister. And I would prefer to conserve resources." The Android spoke, his eyes sliding back to focus on the demoness as he moved to place his hand upon her shoulder. Back on Black Star, Kaijin had noticed that when she had transported both her and he back to Hollow from the ship that the strike team had rode on in the earlier stages of the battle, perhaps indicating that for others to travel with the user of the technique, one needed to be in direct contact with the caster themselves in order to travel along. Even if such wasn't a requirement...it was nice to be safe, rather than sorry.
Closing his eyes, he decided to extend his sensors himself, as a way of helping Kuueru indicate the energy signature, and exactly when it appeared, even though he was faithful in her ability to deduce exactly where the signature was herself. He felt his sensor range expand as he actively devoted his internal energy systems to that one focal point in his body. For a moment, he was well aware of the plethora of energy signatures in the Scorched Palace, the various power levels of the warrior guards, the servants, even the other nobles who resided in other sectors of the palace. And beyond the reach of the palace...well below the surface, a bright, intense power level popped up on his power readings.
"Now."
Riding through wormholes was always fun. Kaijin had never attempted to try and learn Kuueru's Instant Transmission, however, he always figured that technique of hers to be rather nifty, and certainly useful when it came to tracking down opponents, or trying to get out of a rather sticky situation. Or saying goodbye to allies that you were rather sick of spending the day with, as was the case of Black Star.
Kaijin's lab was rather impressive, especially considering the fact that it was created with very little assistance from the Aetherguard, built within the time restraints of a month, and located deep underground. The artificial lighting could have been better, but it only served to compliment the rather "creepy" aesthetic that the good doctor seemed to prefer. Nonetheless, the laboratory was, without a doubt, impressive. Primarily metallic in nature, the laboratory boasted several three primary levels, with the level that Kuueru and Kaijin appeared in being "Level Two". As they walked into the main testing facility, several medical tanks adorned the walls, with a total of four runways proving to be the only reliable walkways in this section of the lab. And waiting for them centerstage, was what appeared to be a blonde haired human woman.
"You returned. That means Project AAC was a success. Shall I mark it as such in our records?" The woman inquired, cocking her head curiously to one side. She was rather beautiful, dressed complete in a long sleeve shirt, with dark blue scrubs over it. Her smile was amicable, but there was something a bit...offsetting about her. If Kuueru were so curious, she would also sense that the blonde haired woman lacked a power level. In fact, she lacked any spiritual presence at all.
The shroud surrounding the mystery woman was dispersed moments later by Doctor Vex himself.
"Excellent. Yes, please mark Project AAC as a success, and subject it to further testing before we reserve it for active use. Good work, Vero. Kuueru, meet Veronica, my assistant. She is also known as Vero, a nickname she came up with for herself." With that Vero smiled and offered a little wave.
"I am the first Android created by Doctor Vex, however I suppose my personality cannot be credited to Number 42." Vero commented, offering a sly smile to the Doctor, causing Kaijin to shift rather uncomfortably at the mention of what appeared to be his unit number.
"Yes...that is correct. Kuueru, Vero here is an Android of my creation. A Riot Soldier originally, that I upgraded and gave an artificial appearance, as I am. Her personality matrix, however, is not of my creation. It is of my creator's, Doctor Evelyn Janus. Vero, was formerly Android 36, one of my creator's failed projects. I was Android 42, and the success, as she deemed it. As part of my training to be Janus's assassin, I destroyed Vero's body, and absorbed her consciousness by fusing her power core and datachip within myself. In the creation of Veronica, I...released her consciousness from myself, and freed her into this form. I originally her free reign, but she desired to remain, so I made her my assistant."
To that, Veronica merely nodded," He could have destroyed me completely. At first, I resented Kaijin, for being a puppet to Janus. However, his sparing me and incorporating me into himself only ensured my own survival within him, and his release of me...was unexpected, but appreciated. I have no place else to go, so I may as well make a living taking advantage of Vex's mind."
"Enough. Prepare a vial of Cyclone. The same dosage as I provided the others. Kuueru does not need more, nor do I believe less will impact her quite the same."
"Very well." Vero said, turning on her heel to walk down the hall to a private room. In the meanwhile, Kaijin beckoned for Kuueru to follow him to an empty medical tank, to which the good doctor slipped off his jacket, revealing himself to be wearing a grey tanktop, showcasing his alabaster colored skin and slim, athletic build. As his fingers danced across the keyboard next to the medical tank, Kaijin briefed Kuueru on what would happen.
"You will be hooked up to an IV, and we will feed the Cyclone Drug to you through the IV. Throughout the experiment, I will place you into a Medical Chamber, the nutrients of the liquid solution around you will help your body repair itself as well as give the mind clarity. This is something I did not provide the other subjects, so hopefully it will serve to ease the stress upon your body and mental state. I will be monitoring your life signs throughout. If I feel you are fading too fast, I will end the experiment and try to revive you myself. However, from what I have gleaned...most subjects reported being taken into a form of trance...during the proceedings, most likely a vision brought by near death. While I will ensure you do not die in my care, you may come close. Be prepared for that."
With that Vero returned with a rather long, yet thin vial of a purple colored liquid substance, marked "CYCLONE".
"Are you ready, Queen Kuueru?" Veronica asked, her tone much more serious than moments ago. The moment of truth had come.

ICE COLD She could see it clearly. The android thought she was acting foolish despite him not using words to convey it. Suddenly the demoness felt embarrassed, she averted her eye contact for the time being. She couldn’t let the rest of her kingdom catch wind that their leader could blow up planets and get beaten but a brink from death, and simultaneously fear something so routine. Alas, needles aren’t a thing in the Demon Realm. Perhaps the objects being so alien to her was what rooted her fear.“I-I am relaxed.” Kuueru protested as the skin he rubbed with alcohol began to hurt before the syringe even came into the picture. He was so thorough and abrasive with the cotton ball that her skin turned red.“Owwww.” She mumbled under her breath childishly. The needle slipped right under her skin, eagerly digging for a vein. The woman’s body tensed up as the doctor worked. Fingernails dug into her thighs, she squirmed; which, only made things worse for the man. Luckily he had a steady hand and got his sample without much of an issue. He tucked away the supplies and readied himself to leave, but soon turned back to the queen with a sheepish smile. He seemed elated. Kuueru returned the grin, her body pulling to a stand as she held a few fingers over her wound. It didn’t take long for it to coagulate though. Such small needles were a wonder of today’s technologies after all. Still, the good doctor went on to explain his plans. Ever since the first mention of the drug Cyclone Kaijin had been planning his next move. He was a clever one for sure, who planned out his routes and calculated his every resource. It didn’t take long for the man to reach out to his assistant and give warning of their arrival. Not that she knew that was what he was doing. Kuueru simply stood idle, her aura reaching out for any incoming bursts of ki in the area. That was when he opened the channel. The talk between the two was most professional. Kuueru chuckled at the thought of Kaijin having a relationship with a woman with how awkward he could be. Little did she know about Veronica’s status of an artificial being. It didn’t matter. Soon the brief rendezvous was over. Kuueru had her instructions, and Kaijin’s hand was suddenly on her shoulder. She shuttered at his touch, her lavender hues watching his alabaster hand for a moment before focusing on the task at hand. Not that she would be surprised. Kaijin immediately called it out for her, and she locked onto the familiar ki like a beacon. In a mere instant they were off. It wasn't a long gap of travel by any means, but the ease and efficiency of magic paid off. It also looked cool as hell. The demoness and her android companion soon appeared within the man's lab. The queen of Hollow inhaled sharply. It was always frustrating to lose a chunk of energy after such a technique, but she would recover. For now, she had acquaintances to make. The woman's heels clicked against the ground as she explored the room with her eyes. It wasn't long before the demon spotted the blonde-haired assistant in the lab. She seemed preoccupied for a moment but chirped to life at the presence of Kaijin. Right away the woman asked for orders like some sort of overpaid worker. This had to be some sort of servant.Kaijin instructed Vero and introduced the Demoness to her. Introductions were made, backstories exposed, and even things the woman didn't need to know were spat through the air. She remained polite however, her wary eyes looking to and from the assistant and her master. Both spoke so much that her mind was literally juggling all the information. Surely, she would forget something important in the barrage of talk of drugs, DNA, and people. At last Kaijin ushered the woman off to grab the drug. In the meantime, Kaijin called the woman towards a medical tank. Her lavender eyes looked at the machinery curiously. Luckily enough, the woman had never had to use such a healing device, but she was certainly intimidated by it. With a gulp she waited and listened to Kaijin as he explained the procedure. It seemed like something lengthy, perhaps treacherous. Kuueru braced herself mentally before letting her eyes fall shut. The demoness nodded and rested a hand upon the android's shoulder."I trust you. I want to come out of this as close to normal and alive as I can, even if all goes wrong," Kuueru pleaded. Though, she truly knew this was unpredictable. One could hope that the experimental drug would work and give the woman the boost of power she needed to assert herself as a leader amongst the rest of the galaxy's figureheads. At least, that was her goal."Death though. You think some sort of injection that killed your mortal subjects would do the same to me? You might as well draw up double the dose while you're at it," Kuueru boasted, her grin from ear to ear as she looked at the alabaster man. A few pats on his back and the woman withdrew her hand back for the time being. Finally, Vero addressed the demoness with a serious tone. Kuueru nodded, her eyes making contacts with both of them before she stood prone. She pulled the elaborate jewels and crown from her head and set it aside. Now, her body was just hugged by a few crimson robes. There was room enough for more needles."I—I must say though. I've never used one of these medical bays. D-Do you have to get naked for it to work?" Kuueru whispered the last sentence to Veronica for some sort of guidance. Suddenly she felt silly as she hid behind her hand from Kaijin. Alas, it was a pertinent question."I-I mean, just tell me what to do; I just don't want to mess up your experiment is all." Kuueru cleared her throat and waited for the man and his vial to magically get mess with her body. Of course, he had to give her the dose first. She nervously stood, her limbs rigid and ready for whatever weird administration the drug had. As much as she hopes it wasn't another needle, it would surprise her if anything else happened.

Post by Doctor Kaijin Vex on Mar 15, 2019 22:12:07 GMT -5
It was an awkward moment. Kaijin Vex had fully expected Kuueru to become fully undressed and step into the medical chamber as per the standard. Not once did he predict her becoming flustered or the least bit uncomfortable by his presence during this swift change from clothed to....not so clothed. But then again, he was made a machine. One that, despite his vast array of emotions, could still not properly identify with the organics around him, except in a few cases, in which he became passionate. The plethora of social cues and standards that organics held so dear were either lost on him, or he simply disregarded as unnecessary and illogical. This time just so happened to be the former.
Veronica, thankfully, was not so oblivious, and her eyes widened as to realizing Kuueru's predicament. Turning to the good doctor, Vero addressed Kaijin in a rather serious tone, taking a surprising voice of authority for one who had been introduced as the assistant to the man.
"Vex, a bit of privacy please. Our subject is supposed to be changing." Vero insisted, narrowing her eyes towards the doctor. Kaijin's red eyes shifted ever so slightly, to settle upon the Android assistant.
"Because? The mortal form is exquisite, there is no reason to feel ashamed of it. Besides, I hold no sexual attraction, so it is most ill-""
"Damn you! Come!" Veronica said, taking Kuueru's hand and pulling her towards one of the private rooms on the floor, her grip surprisingly strong. As they walked across the runway, Kuueru would notice that the lab was abuzz with activity, yet she would also be able to feel the lack of life, all around her. Automatons, from small, mousy servant droids, to Riot Soldiers walked about the various levels of the lab, performing various tasks, and moving large machinery about. Besides the doctor himself, the most humanoid thing in the entire facility was that of Veronica herself, an she was already introduced as an Android, fully synthetic herself, just as the doctor was. However, like Vex, she seemed....almost lifelike. If Kaijin hadn't introduced her as an Android, and if she did not lack a power level, it would be hard to distinguish her from your average young adult Earthling. There seemed to almost be a level of awareness...a level of social adeptness that transcended even Kaijin's understanding.
"Forgive me for Kaijin, social cues have never been his forté." Vero apologized, as she stood in front of what appeared to be a storage closet. A small droid came along a few moments later, holding what appeared to be a white bathrobe. Handing the bathrobe to Kuueru, Vero bowed her head.
"I would have taken you to a bathroom...but relieving oneself is mainly a required life practice of organics, synthetics do not have such needs, so Kaijin did not consider such in his initial floor plan. Although, maybe I will force him into accommodating. If it isn't science or strategy, he doesn't understand. It is partially why I'm glad to finally be free from him. Too damn serious. Too many voices in his head, leading him astray. Too much of fucking Janus in him..." Vero said, muttering the last second under her breath before turning to Kuueru
"Go ahead. I'll wait out here. Let me know if you need anything." Veronica winked at the demoness.
"You'll be fine by the way. I know the caliber of a person when I see it. You'll come out a totally different person than you are now. Kaijin can hardly separate himself from the numbers, but keep your willpower up....and you'll push through. Now hurry, before Vex gets impatient." She said, before gently waving her hand to usher Kuueru inside the closet to change.
Maybe bringing Veronica back was a bad idea.
Her separation of him was more of a conscious choice than one based on statistics. Sure, before he released her and gave her a body once more, the Android made sure that by releasing a consciousness from himself that he wasn't losing efficiency. However, Doctor Janus's supercomputer and data constituted a great deal of his intelligence, personality and present power. His earlier enhancements were of relatively small importance now to him statistically, but were emotionally.
Forced to kill. Forced to destroy former projects, former Androids. They were just like him, built like him, trained like him, but ultimately scrapped because of personality flaws. Because they were not complacent to merely serve Janus for all eternity. He was no different, it was just that he was able to hide his independence better behind his programming and behind a guise of docile loyalty. Yet, that did not wash away his sins. He had only been able to defeat Aubus by destroying Veronica and another Android by the name of Feng, and absorbing their components into his own. In fact, by absorbing them, they had set the very seeds of rebellion and independence into his head. They had subverted his programming. They were the reason why he wasn't on Earth, still a slave to Janus's command. Giving Veronica a body was the least he could do....and soon Feng would follow.
Alas, he was so used to solitude and blind obedience from his automaton servants that Veronica was a bit of a surprise. She was always the hyper intelligent, yet highly spunky and rebellious type. He had admired it at first, but now when that spunk was being used to his detriment, it wasn't as admirable anymore.
"I'mma have to order a muzzle...." Kaijin muttered, before turning to greet the duo as they returned to the party, Veronica's face re-assuming a neutral expression, indicating she was back to business. It also served to remind Kaijin that the time was upon them. It was now or nothing.
"Forget the IV, I'll just use a syringe. Attach the sensors to her. I want her vital signs tracked at all times." Kaijin instructed Veronica, as the pair began attaching various metal nodes to her body. The nodes were attached to a series of wires that led inside the medical chamber that Kuueru was going to be placed inside of.
"Close your eyes. I will make this quick, and then we must move quickly. Once I inject you, I have a minute to hook you up to the medical system and ensure you are alright, before you pass out." Kaijin said, holding his hand out as Veronica provided him with an alcohol swab. His hand moved across Kuueru's skin in the same practiced motions as he did prior, when he was drawing blood, ensuring that no bacteria would be caught on the syringe as it graced and pierced the skin. After locating a suitable injection point, Kaijin swiftly injected Kuueru with the Cyclone Drug.
The next minute moved rather quickly. Kaijin's hand was steady and calm as he withdrew the syringe once the drug was drained into her bloodstream, but after he discarded of the syringe, the Android was quick to usher Kuueru into the medical pod, and even quicker to get back to the control console, quickly activating the medical pod as Veronica fitted a breathing mask over Kuueru's face, while whispering words of encouragement in her ear.
"You'll be fine...persevere, and you will live to see the end of today."
"Veronica! Out of the pod!" Kaijin instructed firmly, prompting Vero to back up, as the hatch closed. From a spout at the bottom, the medical pod began to slowly fill with a greenish-blue liquid solution. His eyes meeting Kuueru's one last time, he nodded to her.
"Good luck."

ICE COLD Kuueru stood there, enamored by the technology of the medical machine. She was so captivated, she hadn't noticed the brief exchange between Veronica and Kaijin behind her. The woman ran her fingertips over the cold material that the pod was made from, that was when the woman's voice broke her ears. Changing. Oh, she was supposed to disrobe after all. Now that Kuueru felt silly she would quickly have to undress so that they could progress. Alas, after the words Veronica and Kaijin shared, the blonde assistant was soon ushering the pink haired woman through the different rooms. With the physical guidance of Vero, Kuueru was led around and around, her eyes taking in the sites of the lab as well as the lack of anything that felt alive. Like her. She shuttered at the thought, but remembered the capable hands that she put her life in. Kaijin was a good man, right? Well, there was no sense in worrying about it now. He had her DNA and was preparing to inject her with a drug that kame knows what did. Vero quickly apologized when they finally stopped before what appeared to be some sort of closet. A droid strolled up, bringing a modest robe along for the demoness to cover herself with to avoid the awkwardness. Though, in all truth, she wasn't worried about being naked amongst not a man nor a demon. In fact, Kuueru wasn't the modest type at all; yet, she followed through this time. "Oh, no worries. I just have never used the machine before, I'm clueless," Kuueru mumbled before opening the closet and examining it's contents. It seemed rather dark and odd, but it would suffice for the woman in a lab fool of artificial beings. Vero spit a few words of disdain with Kaijin's insensitivities towards organics, but it soon subsided as the blonde android offered Kuueru the closet to change. She quickly ensured that she would be waiting and with that the demoness crept into the dark closet before closing the door behind her. It didn't take long for the clothes to melt and shift from her form. They were all a disguise after all. Kuueru was constantly walking around naked, under a powerful magic spell, but naked. Before long the pink-haired woman emerged the closet with a brilliant white robe contrasting her sun kissed skin. She quickly followed the blonde woman back to Kaijin where he promptly went about berating her. Kuueru felt her head ache suddenly. Perhaps the nerves were finally getting to her. She gulped, her attention reaching for Kaijin as he seemed to get a bit more irritated by the moment. Veronica peeled back her robe before attaching various sensors to her skin. The woman's lavender eyes watched their every moved curiously. Not because she didn't trust them, but because even a doctor's appointment would be an alien experience for Kuueru. He instructed her to close her eyes. It was straightforward enough. He would administer the injection, she would get into the medical bay, and everything would work out. Hopefully. The woman nodded anxiously, though her face betrayed her nerves. She looked calm and collected on the outside, but upon the newly attached meters, her heart pounded away. It was too late. The swab was rubbing against her skin, and before she could think the needle slipped under her delicate skin. She winced, the medicine administered straight into her bloodstream. It burnt. Every second the fiery feeling of her blood on fire stretched further and further along her limbs. She felt an immediate lack of energy, but the man was quickly guided her frame towards the pod. She fell back into it, the mask soon fitted over her face. Worried eyes glanced to Veronica as she gave her once last bit of encouragement before Kaijin ordered the assistant out of the pod. Then, the pod began to fill. Her toes swished around within the liquid as it slowly engulfed her knees, hips, and bust. Suddenly the woman felt a bit worried as her head was submerged. Well, she would be if she wasn't losing consciousness by the second. She knew that the doctor had mentioned a loss of consciousness, but what next? The dreams flooded in like the water in the tank. Suddenly, she snapped back to attention. It was like the most realistic dream. Kuueru was suspended in the same color liquid as before, yet there were no wires, masks, or medical bays around. In fact, there was only nothingness. Kuueru's wary eyes looked all around, seeking some sort of idea as to where she was, after all, she was knocked out cold after all. So, she started swimming. Swimming through this abyss with limited visibility. At first it seemed to go on forever, Kuueru was about ready to give up, stay in this place forever, and float away into eternity. Then, she heard the voices. She stood still, her eyes widening at the sound. The first voice was shrill and barking orders. Kouzi. The witch appeared off in the distances, Kuueru's body swimming closer to catch a curious gaze. It was her all right, but why was she here, better yet, why was Kuueru even here. That's right, the drug. Kaijin told her about this, perhaps her brain was struggling to juggle all the facts just yet though. She tried to focus, but it was hard with the pain that slowly started to ramp up in her body. The woman grunted, her body in real life twitching beyond the medical bays glass. Neurons were firing off like crazy, her entire body wasn't sure whether to fight, flight, or just collapse in on herself; yet, the demoness hadn't even gotten to the bulk of the bad news just yet. "Kouzi! W-What are you doing here?" The woman called out to a still and unmoving vision of Kouzi. Yet, as she tried to get closer, it felt as if the purple haired witch was growing farther away. Then, another voice directly behind her. The woman turned, her eyes struggling to make out a figure with viridian hair. Her voice was soothing and familiar, but Kuueru couldn't place it. She stared at the other as her words lulled her in. Clearly, this was a dilemma for the woman. "W-Who's there!? Who are you?" Kuueru called out warily.

Instead of an answer, came a change of scenery.
The eternal waters gave way, the pair of women rushing to the surface at what seemed to be breakneck speeds, the roar of water rushing past one's ears encompassing everything else. Then, with a loud pop, both women broke the surface of the water, flying high in the air, before gently descending. Unlike the actual practice of flight, this took little to no effort or conscious thought...it was almost like a dream sequence, like this was the natural state of this realm. Gently, Kuueru and the green haired female touched the surface of what appeared to be a lake.
Wait, touched the surface of a lake?
Yes. One of many phenomena that seem to have become a norm within this realm. Kuueru and the mysterious female seemed perfectly capable of walking on water. And better yet, the woman found no surprise in it. In the land of dreams turned reality, the woman's footsteps graced the surface, sending ripples through the water as she sauntered towards the solid grass. If Kuueru were to look around and take in the scenery, she would find the clearing to be something almost out of fantasy. A sea of green, the grass dotted with blooming and budding flowers of various shapes, sizes and colors. Moss clung to tree trunks, and the branches were alive with the rustling leaves. It was almost as if this meadow represented the ideal "perfection" that seemed associated with spring. A cool breeze swept through the plains periodically, the temperate weather paired with the breezes seemingly wrapping around Kuueru's body like a comforting blanket.
Then, of course, there was the woman herself.
A young woman, appearing to be in her early to mid twenties stood before Kuueru, her long sea green hair tied into a long ponytail running down the length of her back, the likes of which only seemed to compliment her brighter green eyes. Her skin was completely and utterly unblemished, the only oddity seemed to present itself in her ears, which were rather elfish like, extending well past what was considered the standard length for ears, and ending in a rather pointed angle, rather than rounded off. Her clothing seemed to be as extravagant and elegant as her body, wearing rather loose fitting green robes with golden colored patterns and white hemlines. She also sported a white cloak which featured a similar golden pattern, this time in the form of hemlines. In her hand was a rather long, decorated staff of brown shaft and silver ornament on top.
Shifting her attention to Kuueru, the woman allowed herself a brief smile, the upturning of the lips complimenting her rather sleepy, half closing of the eyes.
"I am Megami. Welcome to Elysium, a realm that I look after and care for. Its' purpose stems from its' name. A dimension, a realm of complete happiness and tranquility. A place where the impossible become possible. Where the boundaries of the mortal realm no longer govern. The realm of the gods is a fickle place, and the laws that you have become acquainted with while in your exile...are merely just kind suggestions here." The woman known as Megami spoke, her voice soft yet strangely audible, similar in a way to the way Kaijin Vex spoke. Yet there was no cold regard, no calculated stares. Her body exuded comfort and warmth.
Her very being was godly. Dripping in divinity.
Megami turned her back on Kuueru and began to slowly trek towards away from the lake, before she stopped and waved her hand over a particular spot. Golden specks of light began to drop from her form, swirling around the space she indicated, before meshing together and forming solid objects. The golden dust began to materialize into two cushioned chairs and a square table. Tea was already set on the table, along with a few cookies and napkins. Taking a seat, Megami looked to Kuueru and signaled she do the same.
"I am sure you are confused as to why I am here. As I said, my name is Megami, and I am the Sacred Guardian of this realm, and one of the many guardians of Otherworld. I, along with other Shinijns, maintain the peace and balance of the realm beyond mortals. As for why you are here before me..."
Her gaze met Kuueru's, her bright green eyes seemingly staring past the demoness seated across from her, almost as if she was staring into her soul.
"Why are you here, you may ask? Well...the reason is simple."
A slight pause as she moved to sip some of her tea.
"I am your sister."

ICE COLD Bright eyes opened to something even more brilliant. She looked around, the serene land around her welcoming and submitting her body to some sort of relaxed state. Despite the hectic Cyclone drug coursing through the demoness's veins, she didn't think about it at all in the place. There was no pain, only the light and the good vibes that this place, and this person ruminated. After the rushing race through the water and to its surface, Kuueru felt better to not be drug around anymore. Still, they were here, wherever this was. She would soon find out. Soon the pair of women stood upon the lake's surface, their feet managing to be less dense than whatever this water was composed of. It was an odd feeling to walk upon a liquid, but Kuueru didn't question it. If anything, she believed it to be normal at this point. Man, this was a wild dream after all. Whoever this elegant angel was, she moved with grace and fluidity and led the way for the woman. The demoness couldn't be sure who this was, but her looked alone told her a great deal. In fact, this woman's features strikingly resembled her own in her true demon form. Kuueru clenched her fists as Megami opened her mouth and finally elaborated a bit more on where they were, and what its purpose was. It was odd to hear, but the demoness went along with the conversation still. "Megami. . ." Kuueru's lips mouthed the word as she said it. She could feel the divinity bursting forth from this green haired woman. She was truly the opposite of a demon, yet, she felt like Kuueru. Perhaps there truly was some divine magics still lingering in the body of Kuueru after centuries of exile. The other woman wasted no time. She quickly began to walk from the lake before finding a suitable spot, for---whatever she was about to do. With the wave of her handles, the glimmering gold flecks swirled through the air and managed to materialize a nice place of rest for the two. Not only that, there were decorated cookies and the finest of teas. Kuueru wasn't really the type for tea, it was more of a Shinjin thing, but---she would partake, for the cookies of course. The demoness followed suit, her footsteps taking her towards the tea party set up. Yet, before she sat she looked towards the friendly Megami. In an instant the pink-haired woman melted away. It had been a while, but Kuueru had put on her natural form. The scantily clad blue hued demoness. Her forked black tail whipped to and from behind her back. Twisted horns sprouted from her crown. A single bat-like wing stretched from her back, flapping occasionally when the woman became involve in intense conversations. "Nice set up," Kuueru uttered while completing the rest of the trek and taking a seat opposite of Megami. The woman finally decided to reveal a bit more details, leaving Kuueru dumbfounded. "I am your sister." Of course.
Something like this would happen to the demon. She sat up in her chair, her now crimson gaze locking onto the calm and collected Megami. Kuueru quickly cleared her throat and threw herself back into the conversation. "S-Sister? Meaning we were born of the same tree?" Kuueru uttered in confusion. She only recollected her memories after her outcast to the Demon Realm. Most of the traditions of the Shinjin and their lifestyles were retaught by the biased demons surrounding her. Since then, the woman had met a few of their kind amongst the mortals, all of which were commendable people. Was this Megami the same? Or was she trying to get something from Kuueru? "Besides that, what good does telling me that do? I'm sure I have thousands of other siblings, right? Besides, I don't remember anything about this place, other world." Kuueru admitted defeatedly. Her shoulders slumped, and her head hung for a moment. It was rather odd to see such a demonic being showing sadness. Though, a clawed hand quickly reached for a cookie and began sipping at the hot tea. "Mmmm. I really need to learn about this whole family situation with your kind," Kuueru joked, her dark stained lips managing to curve into a sincere smile. "I am curious about my outcast though; why me?" Kuueru's voice grew quiet, her tail curling around her waist as she got comfortable.

The hesitation was natural. As was the confusion. The information being presented before Kuueru was one that questioned her entire existence. Megami knew this, and as such, felt a mix of pity and shame. The woman before her was her sister. Her own flesh and blo od. Their father's godly presence was within them, even if their mother came of a different entity. As Kuueru sat down before her, Megami's calm, green eyes regarded her, looking her up and down. A mix of twisted corruption and elegance. A dual nature, present in her very aura, but reflected in her very appearance. The goddess was no fool, she was aware that demons did not have to be unattractive. In fact, the current Demon Queen known as Amatricina was quite beautiful, in her base form at least. Yet Kuueru represented something else. Her ethereal glow was unmistakably representing her godly heritage. Even if she lacked the God Ki that the Core People seemed to exude, she was no doubt of the divine. She truly had found her sister. "You are all that I imagined...and possibly more. I never thought the day would come where we were permitted to meet, but it seemed to be a surprise for the both of us, for us to come together within this spiritual plane." The goddess seemed to be putting on a rather polite, and aloof air, the teapot hovering in midair, before tipping ever so slightly to pour tea into her cup, her right hand simultaneously reaching for a cookie. And in that moment, her aloof nature melted away to reveal a soft, genuine smile. "I'm so happy to meet you." She stated, before leaning her head back slightly, taking small sips of the hot tea. After all these centuries, she was truly sitting before her. But, she also knew that her sister, in turn, had been spending centuries upon centuries kept in the dark. Her questions regarding the "tree she came from" only exposed her lack of knowledge on the topic, and from where she came from. Despite being known for maintaining a calm and detached demeanor on most subjects, a feat that most Supreme Kais could not even accomplish, Megami could not keep away the spark of anger from igniting within her. Not towards Kuueru, but towards their father. "Kuueru...there is much you do not know...but you should have been told. There is much that happened to you that was unjust. I come before you today to apologize...to apologize on behalf of our family. You should never have been placed in the Demon Realm..." She bit her lip, the expression of guilt evident on her face. Even if she had nothing to do with Kuueru's situation directly, the fact that the green haired goddess had to grow up with the knowledge that her sister was somewhere down in the nether realms, and being powerless to do anything, was something that bogged heavily on the woman's mind. Even now, even this meeting, was only but a small reconciliation for what was centuries upon centuries of continued crime and moral deviancy, at least in Megami's eyes. "The Tree you speak of, the fruit you say you come from, that is not true. Well, it is...but not in your situation. The Core People, known as Shinjins, are born of the fruit that comes from the Kaiju Tree. These are but one race of deities, and often hold the highest divine positions in our hierarchy, their positions and destiny being chosen from the moment the tree bears fruit. Their entire lives defined. This is where the vast majority of deities come from. Then there are the minor gods, who generally govern Otherworld and the various dimensions of limbo and beyond." She explained, her left hand stretching out to gesture to their surroundings. "Elysium is one such place. A dreamscape meant to hold the beauty of all that is natural. Minor Gods and Deities such as I are meant to guard these realms, whiich are often created to either serve an integral function in Otherworld's maintenance, or to hold the various trinkets and artifacts of previous gods, the likes of which are often too powerful or too symbolic to allow in the hands of mortals, or even other immortals. Unlike the Core People, we are born of mother and father, modeled after mortals. Our blood runs golden instead of crimson, and our attitudes reflect both the omniscience of the divine, and reality of mortality. Think of us as a cross between the two, even if others of my kind do not agree with my way of explanation." The last part was spoken as if she were directly referencing someone, the point so bluntly made out of confidence that Kuueru would have no idea who she was referring to, even if she realized that she was making a reference at all. "We are half sisters...you were born a century or so before I. We share the same father." Megami explained, taking a moment to sip her tea once more, her eyes failing to meet Kuueru's for a moment, as she took a deep, long moment to stare at the lake, as if lost in thought on what to say next. Eventually, however, she steeled herself to focus, and her attention once more returned to the demoness "Our father is...an interesting man. Even back then. Despite our status as not being of the Core People, it is heavily encouraged that the minor gods remain within our own. Fraternizing with mortals was, and still is, heavily frowned upon, for it is difficult to draw a distinction between us and them, if we are constantly tied with them. An outdated philosophy that I have never truly agreed with, although I remain a maiden to this day. Nevertheless, my father shared the sentiment....for more personal reasons. He was married to my mother, who was a Deity Attendant to Princess Snake, King Yemma's wife. However, he sought his pleasures in the mortal realm as well. A man, despite his godly heritage, was consumed by lust and material pleasure. He found himself enamored by your mother, a mortal sorceress who was renown for her abilities for magic and Divination, the likes of which were comparable to some of the minor gods. He courted her, and they quickly established a secret relationship, their combined powers typically used to pull the wool of the all seeing eyes of my mother. Their scandal resulted in you, Kuueru. You are a demigod, of sorts, born from mortal mother, and divine father." The woman sighed heavily, as if this was as hard for her as it was for Kuueru. "My mother found out...and was furious. She threatened my father, said she would kill the sorceress. Our father was stronger, but noticed that when you were born, he felt the taint in your heart. The potential evil inside of you. The daughter of a god and mortal would already be frowned upon if returned to the Realm of Gods, but the daughter of a god and mortal, with darkness residing in her very aura. It would ruin our father. So....so....h-he flung you into the Demon Realm, and left your mother without another word. He gave into my mother's wishes...and never saw you or your mother again. I...I knew of your existence, and begged my father to release you from bondage, but he ignored my pleas. My mother denounced you as a mortal, and not worth caring about. I...I see it differently."She bowed her head before Kuueru, closing her eyes in a rather formal gesture of apology, submitting to Kuueru. "Their sins were eternal! More twisted and corrupted than any demon! I seized my father's position from him, which is why I am Sacred Guardian today, and vowed that I would never let either of them hold authority over mortals again. I vowed that I would find you...and return you to the Realm of Gods. I vowed that we would be together, and you would find your true home with us...that we can rectify how you were wronged." Raising her head, she allowed her green eyes to once more meet Kuueru's "Forgive me...forgive us all, and return home. Your true home, amongst the stars."Word Count: 1391 | Total Word Count: 9,519 | Queen Kuueru

ICE COLD Kuueru could only ponder what wild thoughts were going through Megami's head. For the Shinjin to reach out to a demon was ballsy enough of her. To claim that this one was her sister? The demoness sighed, her hands resting in her lap as she tried to maintain the conversation amongst the flutter of emotions. Frankly, she wasn't sure who to believe about her past. Hell, with her corrupted memories, she couldn't even trust her own perception of the way things were. Megami's words filled the air with their booming presence. She wasn't loud, but her voice felt like something otherworldly and clear. The other woman spoke of her preconceived thoughts of Kuueru, she even admitted her surprise that they had even met. Still, how Megami came to Kuueru now, or why was puzzling. Why did she not reach out before? What sparked the initiative? "It's, nice to meet you then," Kuueru awkwardly replied. While the thought of exploring her heritage was enthralling. It was like being throwing into the deep end of the pool with know knowledge of how to swim. The queen of Hollow was certainly lost in the masses of revelations today. Megami went about preparing herself tea and eating cookies. Though Kuueru stole a few of the treats and shoved them in her mouth too. She greedily sat and chewed through the tea cookies, fortunately their sweetness was not too overwhelming. "Unjust?" Kuueru questioned with a mouth full of crumbs. Suddenly she felt a shift in the other woman. An emotion that Kuueru knew very well, anger. Still, to hear that the demoness ending up in the Demon Realm was a mistake only made her blood boil. Kuueru sat up in her seat, her single wing flapping as she tried to calm her irritation from boiling over. Megami's expression carried guilt, but she had nothing to do with this course of actions. While a demon would blame anything connected to their damnation, Kuueru was still filled with the blood of divinity. She had a conscious, she had morals. As much as she liked to portray herself as the big scary demon, she was a better person than most with her type of strength and otherworld hopping abilities. Kuueru continued to sit and stare intently as Megami told her the life cycle of the Shinjin people and how it differed between hierarchies of people. The demon nodded contently, her tired eyes gazing through Megami. Megami continued and explained more that probably went over the demoness's head. The very way Megami spoke was hard for her to follow at times. Not due to clarity, but to her sentence structure and eloquence. Kuueru sat forward in her seat, a single elbow propping her head up as she sat through the lesson and reason this deity had came forth. A Shinjin father, a sorceress mother. The claims were quite outlandish, but the queen hadn't ruled Megami out just yet. "So that's it?" Kuueru sat there, her face rather bemused for such a heavy bit of information. While it was quite a sad story, Kuueru hadn't any memories of her exile to the Demon Realm. Therefore, she didn't loiter on it as much as her sister did. Still, she did know growing up in that place was horrid. She knew that she was different than the rest and had a rough time adapting. Though, she also knew she had a strong affinity for magical arts. It came easier than most things, so at least that was going in the Demoness's favor. Her sister quickly bowed with regret. This was supposed to be some sort of apology. Kuueru waved a hand dismissively, her eyes darting away from Megami and towards the lake to their side. "This is a lot to process, but I honestly don't think you should be the one apologizing. Another person's mistake isn't yours to feel guilt over. Still, to think that I have both a mother and a father is---insanity. . ." The demon lingered on that thought for a moment. The apology of her sister was still in her head, but Kuueru didn't know what to do with all the newfound information. "R-Return home? That's what you want?!" Kuueru questioned. The demon stood, her eyes focused on Megami who just pleaded and spoke on behalf of all of other world. They wouldn't allow such. A demon to return to this place and live out their life living something they've never known. "How could I even call this a home. I have no memories of it. No warm recollections of the good times I enjoyed here. In the past year alone since my escape from the Demon Realm I have made more connections, comrades, and good memories than my entire centuries of life in exile. . ."Kuueru dropped back to her seat. She was tired, mentally and physically from the assault of the drug. Wait, she was in a dream, wasn't she? None of this was real, right? A hand reached up to slap at her cheek, though---the sting was clearly there. Kuueru chewed upon her cheek as she tried to ease her worrying mind. Not only could she not just return home. That would limit her interactions in her mortal affairs as well. Her time in the Empire, her friends in the Leviathans, Hollow and the Aetherguard. She couldn't afford to lose such assets, all for good feelings and rainbows. "Your story seems accurate though. I'm sure these are all possibilities. Tell me Megami, our 'father', how did you manage to take his place?"

Megami could not even begin to understand the full depth of emotions her dear sister must have been experiencing. To have been in the dark about her heritage all this time, only for it to manifest before her in her later years. The fact that she had a father, and a mother. The fact that she believed all this time that she spawned from the Kaiju Tree was enough of an indication regarding just how ignorant she was of her heritage. Not that it was her fault, of course. It was the fault of their father, who had become too mixed in his own dealings and when responsibility came crashing down on him, was willing to use a scapegoat to weasel his way out of trouble.
Regardless, she truly believed she was trying to help her sister. A woman scarred and abused by the injustice of the Demon Realm, only to be exposed to the depravity of the mortal realm. Unlike her mother, Megami herself was not so opposed to mortals, but she was no fool either. From Elysium, she was still able to observe the mortal realm. She watched them war with each other, kill millions, conquer planets, and then lose them, only to restart the process all over again, for centuries upon centuries.
To her, inviting Kuueru to live with her amongst the stars, in the heavens above was like a blessing. To return to where she belonged, and to be in the company of others like her. Even if Kuueru was a demigod, Megami had every intention to stand by her sister's side to dissuade the negative comments and weird stares. Sure, the godly realm was not perfect, but no one in this universe was created to be, even the gods. It was why mortals were so imperfect, for they were merely made in the images of the gods. Never did she even consider the possibility that Kuueru could have actually adopted to her status as a "demon", nor did he ever consider the fact that she would have found happiness in the mortal realm. And that was a folly she quickly realized as Kuueru began to show outrage at being asked to leave all that she knew, to return to Otherworld, to Elysium with her.
"In the past year alone since my escape from the Demon Realm I have made more connections, comrades, and good memories than my entire centuries of life in exile. . ."
Had she truly become accustomed to the mortal realm in such a way that she was willing to deny the divine realm entirely in favor of it? Megami could not understand. She had always remained in Otherworld, and seldom left. She could only observe so much from her crystal ball, and usually, it was the major conflicts that threatened the state of the galaxy. All the negatives. She was still naive to the positives.
But, she respected her sister's relations
"Forgive me, I spoke out of turn. I did not realize you were in active company with mortals. I figured...after so many years spent suffering, you deserved to discover the other half..."
Megami was quick to recover, however, pouring herself more tea before offering Kuueru the same.
"Your decision is yours, however. I am merely grateful for meeting you. As for how I acquired this position...our father was a man tainted by mortal pleasures. Shinjins are not pure creatures, nor do we all have an innate sense of moral righteousness. We can be led astray. Our father was one such individual. He began shirking his duties in favor of the material pleasures of the mortal realm. The Kais discovered this, and asked for his removal. I was one of many candidates to replace him, and I proved to be the best. My father, while not exiled as you were, was more or less relieved from his position, and allowed to live the rest of his days with my mother in Princess Snake's castle."
Sighing heavily, Megami looked around her," This has been my home ever since. It gets lonely some days, but it is the job for which I feel the most comfortable in. And I was hoping you would join me in Elysium." She smiled softly at Kuueru.
"I understand it's a lot to take in, and I understand that I could never, ever understand where you came from. You have experienced worlds I can never follow you to. You have experienced things beyond my scope of comprehension. We are sisters, yes, but I know we have grown up under completely different circumstances, and are thus completely different people. But, it was my hope that....in this meeting, we could at least...amend in some way? Get to know each other?" She asked hopefully.
Just after Megami finished speaking, another presence would make itself known to Kuueru. However, unlike the warm and ethereal presence of Megami, this presence was dark and vile, as if a dark mist had suddenly floated into Kuueru's mind. The voice that followed next was disembodied. If Kuueru tried to search for the source, she would find nothing but Megami in front of her. But this wasn't Megami.
"She speaks as if she believes you can just waltz back into Otherworld after all this time. The daughter of a god and a sorceress. How scandalous a relationship, and you were the evidence that had to be discarded. Your mother was no divine, so she would never be allowed to set foot in Otherworld. But you? You were both mortal and immortal. So, you had to be left behind. Megami is not you. She is someone's whose heritage was never questioned. Someone welcomed into the divine hierarchy with nothing but open arms. She fits the social standard. You never did.
"You and her can never be the same. But the darkness? We welcomed you, we didn't care about your divine heritage. You shunned us away. But that is okay? You have identified with the demons all this time. You have identified with the mortals. And now, all of a sudden she wishes you to abandon this in favor of the divine? How foolish. You are who you were meant to be all along."
"Divinity be damned. You will never be accepted by them. You are simply pitied. She pities you. You are not a God. You are a demon. Embrace it with open arms."
It was the voice of Kouzi.

ICE COLD The women were on two different planes. It wasn't either of their faults, but—there was a rift between them that may never be repaired. No, not unless Megami could join her in her true home, the mortal realm. Perhaps then the Shinjin would understand Kuueru's reasoning for being in shock at the offer. An offer to come to Other World and live out the rest of her life in some make-believe fairytale. How could she even predict how other divine beings would react to her presence. How much of herself would be lost all for the sake of this 'home' Megami spoke of. Kuueru was going through all the emotions in her head and heart. Her stomach churned with anxiety as she processed everything. Not only was she not some useless fruit thrown away to rot. She was a person, a child---discarded like trash. Something about it all made her wish she was just some bad piece of produce. Still, Kuueru hoped that by explaining herself to her sister, Megami would understand. Perhaps she may even be willing to break the rules herself and experience something she had only seen from afar. Surely it was a tempting thought; or, Megami was the type of Shinjin to follow every rule, no matter how meaningless it seemed. The apologies came, but the demon quickly waved a hand to dismiss them. She didn't blame her sister on her ignorance, just as it was the other way around. They were just kids tangled in the mess of their parents. "I am thankful for this meeting at least, sis…ter," Kuueru struggled with the word but quickly got past that hiccup. "It's just a lot to absorb. I don't know what I'm even supposed to do with this information. I feel like---you expect something from me." Kuueru spoke, her mind still obviously frazzled. She sat up in her seat, her demonic aura completely dispersing along with the blue-haired woman. The pink haired Kuueru was back, her eyes staring a hole into the table between the two women. "It's good that you at least have a job that you enjoy. I'm sure it's a lot of responsibility in its own way, that probably keeps you busy, eh?" Kuueru mumbled, her weary smile managing to pierce through the awkward findings of their conversation. Megami kept talking, offering her kind words as if it were mending some relationship between them that they just didn't have. Up until ten minutes prior Kuueru hadn't a clue this Shinjin existed. Nor was she aware of most of the conversation they were having. "Yeah, I hope we get to know each other. Perhaps, there's still something I can do to better Other World," Kuueru spoke solemnly, but the entire scene seemed to fade for a moment. Kuueru tried her best to stay focused on the face of Megami, yet there was a voice---a voice that she knew well. Kouzi.
The soft, yet wise voice of the witch cut through her thoughts. Kuueru sat, her vision blurring as she tried to maintain the overwhelming emotions and pain that suddenly was becoming apparent. She gripped at the arms of her chair all while gritting her teeth. She felt faint, yet Kouzi still spoke. She talked about all the negative in the situation, almost as If she was peeling her back from the brink of salvation. A gloomy feeling encompassed Kuueru as she sat, her stare becoming blank. Though, her words seemed true suddenly. Megami would never know her plight, but she couldn't be blamed for that. Still, to think of how different two sisters' journeys had been---was sickening. A slow but steady hatred began breeding in her bowels. She felt sick, but angry. Angry that someone chose to give a shit now---after things were finally fine. After she dug herself out of the hole they put her in---they want to help? "You speak as if you welcomed me personally Kouzi. I just let you escape the Demon Realm---wouldn't you say I'm the one who welcomed you?" Kuueru chuckled in her mental, or---whatever method of communication they were using. "Though, you're right. There is something inside of me that just doesn't mesh here. But---who's to say it couldn't?" Kuueru managed to regain her mental headspace. Though, she could only imagine what odd methods Kouzi had. Nor did she know what the witch would even want from her. Sure, her power was something---but the witch had been rather distant since her escape. This was probably the first time in a long time they had talked---now she came with kind words and advice? Decisions weren't urgent, right? Though, the drugs running through her veins sent a spike to her body. Monitors and sensors went off in the medical pod she floated. Her heart was slowing, way too fast. Her electrical output was almost nil. She, felt----weak.
