Daoven glided about the skies on his back, floating past the few clouds beneath him as he coasted along. His wings were extended fully, so as to feel the full effect of the wind upon them. It was something like what he imagined a mother's caress would be like; soft, gentle, yet firm enough to be felt and not implied. It made him think of where belonged in this vast universe. Did he have a mother? Was he some sort of monster born at random? If he was, why did he feel so... purpose-less?
It was these questions and more haunting him, Daoven began to descend back below the clouds. That is, until a pressure made it onto his radar. It was faint, but it was getting closer at a rapid pace. Looking up, Daoven would notice a speck in the sky, which was also growing. His eyes widened as he realized it was descended directly towards him. Tensing for a moment, he'd move with a burst of energy to the side of the spherical device, barely avoiding it.
Daoven looked downwards in shock for a moment, seeing the pod pierce the clouds only to crash directly into the wasteland below. He took the initiative and descended to ground level to observe the sphere. The energy he had felt was coming from within it... were they here to do something? Were they sent here? Daoven's thoughts raced with possible answers, yet he could not confirm any of them.
As the pod opened, he would call out to the figure that stepped out. "Hello? Who are you?" His voice crackled, as per usual, though due to his nervousness his lower body (tail) swished about erratically.

Saiyan Pod #419876ZK8 hurled towards Earth at massive speed. As it breached the clouds the pod began to rapidly lose its speed. Several tiny thrusters jutted out of the spherical craft with precision timing, blasting with a rapid and powerful force. Though the force of which slowed the craft down, it did not add any additional sound. It was amazing, really, that this craft came down in such a smooth and silent fashion considering moments ago it seemed as though it would make the impact that of a meteor. It spun and danced as it finally approached ground, nestling itself between two trees in a sparse forest. The front of the pod had the classic door hatch, it was a design that even after five hundred years made little sense to change. The emblem of the Saiyan Kingdom could be seen outside of it, hiding no facts about its users origins. For awhile, there was a stillness in the air. Small animals indigenous to Earth had ceased their chatter once the pod came down, though after what felt like an uncomfortable wait the chatter perked back up. It was ominous, this pod. It sat there almost as if the user didn't want to be disturbed. Its silence was almost a reminder of all the Saiyan's might throughout the centuries. The foreboding qualities. Their power. A stillness that would never back down from a fight. And so the pod sat. Finally the pod opened. A cloud of steam rolled out and danced on the forest ground. A woman was inside laying there asleep. She was wearing weighted blue clothing with white stripes. Her Saiyan tail was wrapped around her hips. Snoring could be heard inside the pod, it seems she was not woken up by the landing. She slept soundly.

Once the pod drifted down to the ground, Daoven watched the pod door open. Within it laid a sleeping... that's a girl, right? He thought back to his few experiences where gender was a factor, and with those confirmed that this being was indeed a girl. Strange, what might've brought her here? What purpose? After a few moments of staring at the sleeping female, Daoven would drift over towards the pod to get a better look. Her outfit was strange compared to the other sets of clothing Daoven had seen on Earthlings. Perhaps she was from somewhere else? Either way, Daoven would nudge her with the flat of his sword in an attempt to wake her up. Should this fail, he would muster the courage to poke her with his hand outright. "Hey. Hey." He would continue until she awoke, then begin to speak his mind. "Who are you? Where did you come from? Why are you here?" Realizing that he was literally barraging her with questions immediately, Daoven sighs before giving her some space to gather herself. "Sorry. I'm really curious about ya. My name is Daoven Spier. Welcome to... uh..." He trailed off, as he had never actually asked anyone what planet he was on. Oops.

The half-Saiyan woman snored loudly until prodded by the orange visage. As the poking occurred she awoke mid-snore with a single eye creeping open from its slumber, then a half second later her whole body jumped up and out of the pod. The leap took her ten feet in front of the pod and now behind the orange wisp. The flips she performed showed a practiced training in martial arts, but her landing displayed a level of both surprise and clumsiness as she fell directly on her behind. Her tail unwrapped from her waste and twitched from the pain of falling poorly. "Ack! Wha-what the heck are you?" she remarked in alarm while clambering to her feet. With little hesitation a look of surprise comes over her face "I know.." she murmurs as she climbs back into the pod and digs into it, her feet dangling from outside. All manner of items come out as she digs through the pod. It was at this point that one could see while her vessel was quite small, even this small space was somehow kept rather messy. "Aha!" she exclaimed, pulling out a small lens device that attached to her ear. "My scouter will help here...wha.." she stopped herself mid sentence, now outside of the pod with her bounty "It's broken!? Shit!". Noticing the orange figure has been watching her this whole time she greets him with confusion and uncertainty "I.. I'm Lettice. This is... Earth isn't it? You certainly don't look like a Human."Lettice waited a bit before giving the answer to his, hers?... its? questions "I'm uhh from another planet. I'm here to look around. Sight seeing and all.." she says nonchalantly, but one could get the feeling she wasn't being all that specific for a reason.

Daoven nodded at her statement about his... inhuman appearance. He would store her name (Lettice, from what he heard) and drift towards her. He began to float around her, inspecting her in some high level of detail that might make her the tiniest bit uncomfortable. This scrutiny would cease once he discovered her tail. "Are you..." He trailed off. With one hand on his chin inquisitively, Daoven would stare intently at her tail, and gave a couple pokes at it with his free hand. Of course, he put away his sword, simply sheathed in his chest as if nothing was amiss with the notion. At some point, Daoven got an idea in his head that the tail must be some sort of attachment. With this idea in mind, he begins poking at her rear in an attempt to find the connection point. Frustrated by his lack of comprehension, Daoven moved in front of the lady and began to stare intently at her."You're weird," he'd say matter-of-factly. "I don't know what I am, to be honest. Like I said, my name is Daoven." Daoven extended a fist towards Lettice slowly, as if to offer a fist bump. Of course, immediately afterwards he began to second-guess the fist. Was that the right gesture...?

Lettice watched as the orange apparition flitted behind her and started staring around her back side. She watched as the strange creature with a sword stuck in it examined her. She wondered what the sword was even made out of or if it was even a separate piece of him. Or her? She still couldn't define gender. After a moment she decided those binary terms probably didn't work for an ethereal being such as this. "Uhh.." she let out just before he started poking the base of her tail. The feeling was electric, but not in a good way. "Hey! Watch it! Don't you know not to mess with a Saiyan's tail?" She shouted angrily at Daoven while swirling around and clutching her tail with both hands. Her angered grimace turned to surprise just as quickly as the being extended its welcoming fist. "A fist bump" Lettice though "This is an interesting introduction". So she did what any normal individual would do and fist bumped back. The being seemed to feel 'there' so it couldn't be some strange ghost. "Ummm you don't need to tell anyone my pod landed here alright? I've had issues with others taking things from my pod or getting stranded in the past. Do you have a place to stay here on Earth?" She asked "Or do you just... vanish?" she stated while making wavy finger shapes in the air. "And for that matter, does that sword hurt? I.. I have so many questions"
