It had actually just been a general inspection for Dain. Ever since taking over the Ravager group with Sly, he had been trying to increase efficiency and proficiency. It was true that before they were merely a group a lone mercenaries, assassins, bounty hunters, pirates, you name it. All that connected them was a sense of pride and that they were Ravagers in name. Dain had been trying to change that. He had procured the Neo Gete Star as a base and had begun opening offices on a lot of planets to start recruiting. Of course he was not recruiting directly for captains. Those were usually won over through direct contact or they applied directly. No this was merely a way to recruit suitable personal for the Gete Star, the Atrioch and any other captain that needed a suitable crew. The office was very basic though and aside from Mercenary recruitment, there was no name involved. Nor was there any direct info lying around that could be tied back to the Ravagers. Even if people came in, made it through the recruitment phase, survived the battle phase and signed up, they would not know what they would be joining until assigned to the very ship they would serve on. This was due to two reasons. The first was that it made it impossible for any authority, journalist or anyone, to make the direct link between the office and the Ravagers. -Several more security measures were in place. Like changing locations every two weeks for example. Sometimes not coming back to the same planet for months. Depending on a random algorithm Petey had decided.- The other reason was though to find suitable candidates. Dain was looking for grunts, who would simply obey orders in order for cash. Those that were drawn by the prospect of fighting, violence and money. No questions asked. If they were willing to sign up, without knowing what exactly for, it meant they were the people he was looking for. As for the reason he was here. It was merely a routine inspection. Normally every office was ran by a metal clone, run from the Gete Star. He was still exploring the star, but the ability to create and operate thousands of clones at the same time had already proven to be invaluable. For a general inspection though, he had taken his time. It was the first time in the Earths office and he had taken the time to look around. He had already signed up three candidates, of which two actually survived the combat round and they were waiting in the back to be shipped back to the Gete star, to receive more information. Already it had been a good day and he was just about to close shop, when the bell rang that indicated the front door had opened. With a curious look on his face he witnessed the android/robot coming in. It looked rather crude though, yet sturdy and Dain decided to skip the introductions. All day he had been holding himself back to a power level of average humans and he wanted to let go. Even if it was only a bit. “Welcome. Please follow me. We will first test your combat abilities.” He said, signalling the being to follow him. ——————————————————————————————————————————— Enter Spar in this slot! —————————————————————————————————————————— “Okay you passed!” Dain said with a grin as he wiped the sweat from his brow and looked at the android. “My name is Dain Sincara and I would like to welcome you to join us. Could you tell me your name and a bit about yourself?” He continued as he winked her to follow him to the transport ship in the back were the others were already waiting. Unlike them though he planned to take the robot aboard the Atrioch. Perhaps the others were grunts, but he had recognized the strength and potential of Arcane during their little brawl and he wished to explore that. More then that, he had truly funy with the trash talking android and he would be damned if he would simply let it go. No he would take it under his wings, build it up and create a fighting machine for the Ravagers, that would truly be an asset. Arcane | Word Count: 713 | Total Word Count: 713

The Ravagers. A group Arcane had absolutely no knowledge about; their morals, past, employees, leaders? She knew nothing about them at all. Which was just the way she wanted it. In the end she wanted to stay ambiguous within her clueless mind. In the end she only had one goal, yet that began to prove itself far more tricky without funds. Besides that, Earth just began to seem tiring, she had spent the last few years exploring Earth and everything it had to offer, and although she found it rather adorable in certain aspects she had recently just became bored of it. People never seemed to look at her right, even other androids seemed to keep their distance from her. Therefore it appeared that The Ravagers were her best bet in order to get anywhere. Exploring more of the universe, and gaining funds at the same time in order to conduct her own research seemed to be a win, win situation. Walking into the office, she was met with the face of a man. She could already see the curiosity in his eyes. Arcane just wondered if that would quickly turn into disdain or keep it's spark. Although to her surprise they seemed to skip all pleasantries going straight to combat, from her time on Earth, she had expected at least a few questions before a physical test. However after a quick look, her sensors quickly deduced this wasn't a human, his biology just didn't entirely match, and neither did his ki. With a small nod, Arcane didn't say a word instead opting to follow the man. She kept a close eye on the man, not entirely sure of what to expect from him.
Arcane dropped to a knee, a fist slamming into the ground as she seemed to rest for a moment. Those dreadlocks of wires tangled down as the coils still sparked with an edge of lightening. She could feel her ki resting and her combat protocols deactivated. "I apologise again for my combat protocols... That side of me isn't as courteous..." She responded raising to her legs. Running her hands back she pushed all the wires back before facing the man once more. "I go by Arcane, and I don't know much about myself, one of the few reasons I looked to join, so I could earn money in order to research that." She mentioned as she walked down with the Saiyan. Dain could only chuckle after the robot apologized. It was clear it had a few wires loose, yet he liked it. She seemed to be genuine and that was all the Saiya-Jin could ask for, plus she was a great fighter. As they walked past the three men the ship took off and was on the way to the Gete Star. The Saiya-Jin simply gave the men a small nod, before leading Arcane past them and into his personal room. It was not much, especially for his standards, yet it was private and at the very least contained two comfortable chairs and a small table. “Welcome aboard Arcana!” He said with a small grin as he sat down, reached for one of his black cigarettes and a glass. “Do you want a drink or a smoke?” He offered friendly as he reached for a second glass and a bottle. The Saiya-Jin was unsure whether the android enjoyed such basic, carnal pleasures. It was more a standard questions as he did not want to be rude and exclude it. The actual question was what he was going to do with it. The android was definitely more then a grunt, yet he was unsure of whether it was officer material. He would have to confer with Sly, but when it came right down to it, the star was ultimately his and… “…Arcane, if I provided a ship and crew with you, would you abide by our rules?” He said having made a decision. “We have only three rules. One never hunt or kill one of our own. Two we take any job, regardless of the motives or politics. We are not evil, nor good. We stand above such concepts and just do what we want. Which leads to the third rule: do whatever you want with your ship and crew. Dain said with a grin as he explained what it meant to be a ravager, while enjoying his cigarette and drink. It truly was all there was too it. While part of a group in name, each captain was on their own and free to do as they pleased. “You would be a lone bounty hunter, mercenary, assassin, space pirate. Whatever you want to be. If you need help we would be there, but mostly you are free. What we offer is nothing less but shelter, protection and aid, yet complete freedom to do as you want.” Dain said with a grin, as he let his gaze rest upon the androids face, wondering if there would be any reaction. He had made the sales pitch often enough to know that it was pretty enticing. In fact most did not even seem to believe him when he offered it to them. However there was one down side. Any form of betrayal was met with extreme prejudice. Of course there was very little a ravager could do to truly betray the group. That was the absolute beauty of their system. Every ravager was free to do as they wanted. They could even exterminate a city another ravager had saved a few months ago. As long as they took the job officially and filed it with the headquarters. There was not something like honor or conflict of interest between them. Each job was it´s own and if any of their customers complained, usually Dain or Sly paid them a personal vitsit to `explain´ things to them. Usually that was enough to settle things quickly. Of course there was some anonimosity between the different ravagers. The mercenaries for example were not to fond of those who merely took assasination jobs. Something about honor and pride. Still at the end of the day, all of them were part of the same group that worked just for money, above all laws and moral codes. Despite any feelings, they would still eat, drink and laugh in the same bar if they ever met, swapping their epid stories. What interested him more though was Arcane. Now that he had made his pitch, his interest in the android was growing. “What do you mean by researching more about yourself? Is there a goal to finding out more about yourself, or mere curiosity?” He asked as he finished his glass and instantly poured himself a new one. Passing through with the Saiya-Jin, her battle protocols still stayed somewhat active, although her battle personality had shut down in place for her far more curious and kind self, her multiple wounds, scars, and burn marks quickly repaired themselves. Casting a small electric glow of steel blue over every injury they quickly sealed up, replacing her own outer shell with a brand new shinning self. For stuck a crude looking Android she appeared far more advanced than first thought. Walking through the door, her head twisted and turned, scanning the room. Her curiosity now taking over. Although there wasn't much too look at, however it was far more welcoming than the white room she just fought in. She didn't sit down at first, instead she still kept looking around the room, as if she had never seen anything like it before. Although she was stopped in her tracks when offered such human confectioneries like alcohol or tobacco. It's not that she wouldn't of liked to take part in such a thing, she just merely had no way to do so. Motioning to her mouth, she showcased the distinct lack of a mouth. Her face as a whole was rather plain, consisting of nothing but a platinum like metal, except for the two slits which could only be her eyes. Her eyes for a matter of fact seemed to glow that same steel blue energy as the lightening she created during their battle, as well as the energy that surrounded her wounds for that matter. Sitting down in the opposite chair, her head titled to the side as Dain proposed an offer she couldn't say no too. The offer of freedom, shelter, protection and her own crew, ll in exchange for battling for any side which paid the highest price sounded all too good for the curious Android. Although she had became fond of the inhabitants of earth, she held no real sense of morality. She, after all, was still learning a great deal about the universe and the people who controlled it. She was sure her own sense of morality would be forged throughout the years, but not without necessary shaping. These people, Ravagers, seemed to be above or below such things as that, which suited her best. "I'll follow your rules."In truth it sounded all too sweet to be sure, but in the position she was now, she had no want or need to deny them. The Saiya-Jin seemed to be a powerful ally, one she wanted to keep hold of. Besides, and entire organisation of bounty hunters on her side would just be a stupid choice to give up. Her head titled when she was asked about her own research. Many seemed to never ask about it, usually they would just look at her oddly before dismissing the entire subject altogether. "I suppose you could say there is something about myself I need to discover. You see, I've only been "Active" for about the past few months. I've been searching Earth for a long time as for answers to what I truly and and where I came from, as my model seems far too old to be anywhere near the newer Androids produced by Capsule Corp, and I believe there is a bit more to me than just being a newly awakened Android. So, yes, research about myself."Word Count: 561 Total Word Count: 965 Dain Sincara

Dain watched carefully as they strode and noticed how the androids systems handily seemed to repair itself. In a way it was similar to the Mark I android he knew. Although there were enough differences to tell him it was definitely of the same manufacturer. There were subtle difference between the two. Yet also curious similarities. The fact that it absolutely had no mouth though was a bit weird. Dain had thought perhaps it was merely protection. Like a metal mask it could retract or something. Now he was wondering whether it´s creator had simply been an asshole or merely forgot it. The Saiya-Jin did not know which of the two he would actually find worse. Perhaps it was because of his long levity, but he knew for a fact that sensations as food and drink, were things that were really important in life. Well not so much the carnal sensations -of course for Dain they were- but sensations in general. They tended to provide feelings, feedback, things to drive you forward… … of course his annoyance had taken a leap and a bound. Of course the Saiya-Jin did not know what or what not the android could feel. Or if it even needed it. “Good.” Dain said with a satisfied smile as that was the only thing he wanted to hear. Now they could move onto more pleasant things. “Look I hardly doubt I will ever give you any orders. It is not how we operate. Every ravager is his own and can do as he wants. As long as you do it by our moral code. Which roughly translates into no politics, no mass murder/evil deeds and no killing each other. In every other sense you are free to do anything you want.” He said as he grinned and placed the tips of his fingers together. “Our groups consists of pirates, mercenaries, bounty hunters, assassins and everything in between. You do as you want, as long as you always promote yourself as a ravager and honor that name with your actions.” Dain continued. Of course there was a different part to it. While that was the reason he and Sly created the Ravagers, to be able to play as bounty hunters, Dain had a tertiary goal as well. To create an armada loyal to the ravagers that could be called to war if it was ever needed. He could only imagine it. If from all across the universe the Ravager ships were recalled. Ten thousands -and growing- independent warships, piloted by veteran captains and crews… in theory their might could be compared to the empire, the former crusher corps or the galactic patrol. Though he doubted that day would ever come, it was a nice warm, fuzzy thought in the back of his mind. “Hmm? Ah yes, I see what you mean.” Dain was thrown from his thought as Arcane talked about itself and a quick glance at the android was enough to make Dain see what it meant. “Well then let me be the first to offer you help. While I am not a magician and know very little about androids, I do have various `assets´ that might be useful in your search. On board the Atrioch I have a fully grown, matured AI capable of working miracles. On our home base, we have rooms full of scientists and the ravagers have contacts all across the universe. I can´t promise you anything, but you are free to use everything at our disposal… as long as it doesn´t disturb operations.” Dain said, the grin only appearing at the end, as he had to maintain a certain professionalism. It was standard though for the ravagers. They helped their own. Period. Albeit usually not with money or time, nor did they tend to work directly together… but resources were always shared and Arcane was… different. Despite Arcane claiming to be to old, he had just witness it fight and repair itself. In many ways she was far above the generation of cyborgs and androids the capsule corps was currently creating. Dain was just about to comment on that, when a voice over the intercom told them they had arrived at the star and Dain signaled Arcane to follow him. “Okay, now that we are here, let me introduce you to our base. The Neo Gete Star. It is small, but cozy.” He said with a grin as he led her to a window just as they dropped out of hyperspace, showing the cyborg the full glorious size of the star. It had reached full size a while ago and was about half the size of a planet, more if calculating it´s tentacles. “Now here is your first task. Can you design a functioning war cruiser? If so, you should feed the designs into the star and we will have it ready for you in no time. How does that sound? A whole new war cruiser for yourself.” Dain said with a grin as he slapped Arcane on the shoulders, just as they were docking in one of the many stations of the star. It was the one requirement for becoming a true member of the ravager fleet. Well of course to be a grunt all one needed to do was either sign or be drunk and `recruited´. To be a true member though one needed to have their own ship. That was why usually the offices only recruited grunts. Captains usually came to the Ravagers themselves to be part of the organisation. Just for cases like this though, or well one of the reasons, Dain acquired the star. It was so gigantic it had numerous fabbers build in and could even create ships the size of kilometer long war cruisers without a problem. Of course it would cost the ravagers some resources and another plent would get humped by the star, but that was an investment Dain was willing to make in those special cases a fighter really impressed him. Looking to her employer, that aura of energy began to fade off her wounds as her injuries appeared to be completely healed. The idea of complete freedom, with the exceptions being meddling in political strife appealed to Arcane greatly. She had no reason to involve herself in such matters, nor did she care for it. Her main objective was her past, and with the offer of Dain being given she could hardly deny the offer at all. The idea of have an fully developed AI researching her schematics and several contacts all over the universe she would easily be able to rediscover her past, or at least get the starting point she has been missing for so long. Being gestured out of her seat towards the window, she titled her head as she spotted the star. It was a rather odd contraption, if not awe inspiring. With large tendrils that moved in lucid motions, and seemed as if they could smash any war cruiser into the void of space. It was massive and magnificent, yet it had a terrifying air about it, Arcane could only imagine what this creation could do if it attached itself to a planet. Those tendrils seemed strong enough to crush the planet or at least cause rather heavy damage. Although her attention was quickly pulled away as Dain mentioned something of designing a war cruiser. She felt his warm hand on her metallic shoulder. What was interesting enough was she didn't feel cold to the touch, instead a heat of some kind, irradiated through her body, it seemed to pulse within her matching up to the slight pulse in her eyes. "A war cruiser of my own? Well, I assume I can design a function schematic, although I do hope the resources won't be too much of a burden on the Star." Arcane said, as she held her hands behind her back, her head turning back to the window once more. The whole structure of it intrigued her. Just how powerful was the star, in order for it to easily create war cruisers? She had already gathered her new found ally was rather powerful, however she didn't expect him to have a fully self functioning planet to himself. It was rather impressive to say the least. Time had past since they moved onto the Star, brought through various locations of the Star, escorted by Dain himself, Arcane began to gather a variety of knowledge for who she had just allied herself with. Cut-throats, pirates, mercenaries, scum and good honest people who where just looking for work. It suited her well to say the least. Although with time passing, she soon constructed her own schematics for a function war cruiser. It didn't take her long, only just a day or two, with a small amount of help from the function AI of the star. With her designs complete, she swiftly fed the designs into the star itself. She stood there within her own quarters on the stair, staring at a large screen, watching the analytical data process and the designs slowly being manufactured. Whilst on the star she had taken time to herself, exploring the massive structure and running into some of the inhabitants, some of which she enjoyed the company of, other's she found quiet reclusive and annoying, however as it being her first time being within the presence of a large amount of people she found herself leaving mostly a good impression on those she met, making sure to keep her combat protocols under control whenever strife occurred. Leaving her quarters she turned to walk down one of large corridors of the star before slowly making her way back to Dain. "The cruiser has been uploaded to the Star, I assume you'll find it functional." She commented upon arriving at Dain's side.

It was an interesting sensation to feel the warmth come of the metal body. He had already sensed it when sparring, but he just figured it was combat heat. Friction or something. Yet now he could tell it was part of the design and it did not feel bad at all. It felt more human then alien. If only his `victims´ had such smooth skin. There was something nice about the warm metal skin, at least to the touch of his fingers. By all means Dain was no xenophobe and he could appreciate the design of Arcane. When it came to things as bodily functions though, he was still inclined to enjoy the female attributes. Although there had been this one incident on Planet Vaxies… well he´d better keep that one under wraps. “No worries. We recently required an ancient piece of technology, from a long dead civilization. I can fill you in on the details another time, but we acquired a power source that is so advanced it can keep the star running with basic operations indefinitely.” Dain said with a proud grin as he thought back to the adventure him and Sly recently had. Dain had stumbled upon clues about a civilization having run back millions of years ago. They seemingly died out roughly fifty thousand years ago, making space for the current generation of species now roaming the universe. Their technology was so incredibly advanced though, it probably would have made even the big gete star look like a mere toy to them. It had taken Dain over a year to track down any good leads, but finally he found something. A long lost planet, build over a black hole as a basic research station. It was a good thing Sly had joined him, otherwise he would have never made it out alive, but it was something special. At the core they had found some kind of crystal, that the entity guarding the planet described as a ZPM. Even Petey -the AI- and the best scientists had not been able to find out what it actually was or how it worked. So far they had not come up with even a remote theory. Aside from the word sub-space. Yet despite their lack of knowledge it seemed the device was capable of powering the entire star. Keeping on the lights, the internal machines and most of the docking stations. They even had several of the big fabbers up and running. Of course the star was only 13% operational at best and none of it´s defenses worked. If they wanted it to be fully operational they had three options. Either find more ZPM´s, somehow figure out how to make their own or start raping planets. Since the third option was a very last resort at best, Dain had been looking into the first two. Of course the second would be the best, but without even understanding how they worked, it would be problematic at best. No the best way to go about it was finding more, but it was hard tracking down leads about a civilization that was almost gone for fifty thousand years. However recently he had stumbled across a potential lead. It would have to be next on his list. ——————————————————————————————— Already two days had passed since Dain had dropped of Arcane at the station, just enough to though to see her finish her work. “Hmmm I like the design.” The Saiya-Jin said with a grin, pleasantly surprised with the beauty and elegance of the design. Especially the beautiful details incorporated. “Peet?” He asked though, before giving an affirmative answer. Although Dain was familiar with spaceship and could repair, improve them, he had not experience designing it from scratch. Nor did he have the time to spend hours looking over the schematics. So he took the shortcut of asking his AI to do it. “The design is very functional and elegant. If these numbers are correct, she would prove to be a match for the Atrioch itself and most other war cruisers out there. Truly impressive work. Give her my compliments.” Petey said after a few seconds of silence, having analyzed the design as quickly only AI´s could. It was promising to say the least. Dain loved androids, their tendency to work with incredible accuracy and planning was amazing. For Arcane to design the ship, was proof of what she was capable of. “Okay we will start fabbing it. Currently there are several ships being repaired and upgraded, so your cruiser will be ready in… I´d say a week or so. Of course after that you would have to test it out, gather a crew, make the minor adjustments to improve the area´s you find lacking, etc. Etc. That is on your own time though.” Dain said with a grin as he handed the info tablet back to Arcane. “In any case, that means you have some free time. Would you be interested in your first mission?” He asked with a grin as he walked to a few info panels near the center of the room and began pulling up data. He was going through them very fast, since he already knew the data and he wanted to see how quickly Arcane could process this info. Basically the data that passed contained enough information to fill several books, but it came down to the following. In the past few days Dain had send a group of people down to a newly discovered planet in the very edge of the universe. It had been obscured by the radiation from several suns orbiting it and several other things, yet unidentified. He had reason to believe though there was something more on the planet. Perhaps another clue to the ancient civilization. The crew he had send though had not returned yet and communications had stopped several hours ago. Now normally Dain did not involve himself with basic rescue missions, but he tended to handle everything about the ancients himself. “Could you follow all that?” He asked as he shut down the screens and turned back to Arcane. “It would be a search and rescue mission. We don´t know anything about the planet, sensor readings can´t pass through. It could be dangerous. The choice is yours if you want to accept it and follow me.” He said, still friendly as he handed her a small device that had been lying on the table. It was a small wrist device that all Ravagers carried. … wait! Did Petey call Arcane a SHE?!? The thought so abruptly tore through his mind, it made him forget almost everything else. Before Dain took of with the robot, he took here to a training facility in the Gete Star. Perhaps one of the few places that was solely build to be able to withstand the power he was able to generate. Why did he take her there? He wanted to demonstrate what he was capable of. Not merely a matter of showing off, but he also wanted to show her what he could truly do. Perhaps open her eyes to her own potential.
If a simple Saiya-Jin, bound to his physical body, could achieve that much, he wanted her to know she could probably do the same thing.
“Arcane, please watch this carefully. I will show you what a mere mortal can do. I want you to study the data, extrapolate and start finding ways to make such power your own.” He said with a grin, before walking to the middle of the room, activating all the security measure and he began.
The air around Dain looked almost serene for a moment as he opened his eyes. A moment of calmness as the Saiya-Jin relaxed and exhaled briefly. All the tension vanished from his body as he witnessed his surroundings. In that brief moment he could see everything, from the biggest objects, to the small particles of dust floating around. A moment of true peace, something only the great masters of their era knew. To completely relax, be one with their own senses and body. He could feel his own heartbeat, the pulsating veins in his arms and the warm tingling in his fingers.
“Okay, here we go!” He said as he inhaled and tensed his muscles. Instantly black KI began to seep from his body, like a thick black mist. A few veins popped up on his chest and his breathing turned into a soft grunt. The air around him began to vibrate, trembling as if the air itself was heating up around him.
At first it seeped around him like a true black mist, before it began to form into a swirling aura around him. The black KI lit up like a thousand light bulbs on a gigantic Christmas tree and a gush of wind spread through the area. A few veins popped up on his arms and a soft growl escaped his lips as he summoned his natural power to the absolute maximum. Of course that alone was enough to make most people run screaming. His long brown hair swayed softly in the air and his brown robe fluttered around him. “Well how about this… according to my internal sensors I now measure easily over half a million…” He mutter to himself with a pleasant smile as he looked at his own hands and the power he could feel rushing from them.
Of course that was not even a fraction of his power. His race had a truly frightening part to it. The ability to transform into a far more powerful form. With a soft grunt he clenched his fists, grounded his teeth and dug deeper. Inside him a flicker of a flame could be found. He extended his senses beyond his body, reaching deeper inside and embraced the flame.
As he grabbed it, he drew it out, feeding it so to speak and in an instant the small flickering flame turned into a golden fire storm. His black hair turned upwards and golden, as his pupils turned color. His muscles swell up like balloons and his power increased dramatically. The light that was released from him, blinding for a moment and as he appeared from it, he stood there in his super Saiya-Jin form. His very skin pulsing and radiating with a golden glow and a bright golden aura fluttering around him.
Astonishingly enough to know though was that when he first achieved this form, his max stood at three hundred thousand. A tremendous power, now out shadowed by his natural ability. Though with his natural ability grown this much, his true power stood at a new pedestal. Towering at one point five million, his power easily outshone the gods in the universe.
He stood there, his arms crossed, a cocky grin on his face, like a true golden god. Maybe there were a few beings out there that could match him. He wondered though for how much longer, especially knowing a simple fact.
Surprisingly, this was not even his full power.
Then it was time for the final step. “T-HIS IS T-TO - TO GO BE-Y-YOND!!!” He said as he clenched his hands once more, digging his finger nails deep into his flesh. Small droplets of blood swelled up from the broken skin and signals of pain were send to his brain. Yet before they could reach his brain, completely overruled by his single desire for power. Every bit of his being searched for the power that slept deep within him. Even if he could transform at will, transforming to his maximum was quite a bit different.
Blue thunder began to strike around him as his golden energy swell up to incredible new heights. His feet dug even deeper into the ground and as a scream left his mouth, a tidal wave of golden energy washed over him, engulfing anything in it´s path. His already impeccable muscles swell up even more and he actually grew a few inches. His stomach muscles popped out one by one, till your could grind wheat on it. The gray robe tore to shreds under his continues and the remains flew off into the distance.
His hair spiked up even more and then everything started to convolute around him. Dust, light, wind, rain, anything near him got sucked into him as if he was the only source of gravity. His body began to pulse with a golden light and then he unleashed it all in a final gigantic scream. A light so bright it outshone the sun for a moment was released from Dain and then he stood there.
His body converted into his lightning form. The air around him vibrant with pure golden energy and blue lightning. A serene look rested in his purely white eyes, aside from a few bolts of lightning burning in his eyes.
“Well how do you like them apples…” He said with a grin as he glanced over his own form. Every time he transformed it seems he got stronger again and his form got more perfect. Now there was only one thing left to do. It was the part he had hated at first, but now that he was used to it, he loved it. The pressure this technique put on his body, the way it tensed up his muscles… it was akin to a feeling comparable to reaching a certain high point with a lady. There was just something about reaching the pinnacle of one own power.
For a final time he clenched his fist and focused. “SUPER KAIO-KKEEENNNN!!!” He bellowed, before his power exploded like a volcano around him. His golden aura turned a deep red and veins popped up all over his forehead, arms, legs and stomach. The air around him deforming as his power reached it´s peak well above ten million.
Now there only was one final form left to go. Something as far as Dain knew, only a very few Saiya-Jin had ever reached. It was the true pinnacle of Saiya-Jin power. He had not achieved it yet, but he would. Dain was working on reaching it.
His idol Vegeta might not have made or did not find it needed, but he wanted it and after gathering, watching and studying all the information available about the transformation, he was quite certain he could do it. He just needed to figure out how to get that one that further, to grab the true essence of what it meant to be a super Saiya-Jin. To reach the legendary super Saiya-Jin Three form.
In any case with the show done he powered down and walked outside of the room to meet with Arcane, who he hoped had learned a few things.
“Well I hope that was enlightening an-” Dain was just talking when he received a message from Petey regarding a distress signal. One of the captains under his command was in trouble.
On a routine mission they had run into a fleet of Gropyk rebbels and were on the run. While his ship was powerful for a freighter, full of illegal upgrades, it did not have the power to stand up to and entire fleet. “Sorry Arcane, we will continue this conversation later.” He said with a shrug before darting off.
While it was not practical to lend the aid of the fleet for a single captain -it would send a bad precedent- he was free to go and help the captain himself, along with the Atrioch. Of course as the leader of the Ravagers -along with Sly- it was his prerogative to take a few ships with him as a bodyguard on his walk.
So a few hours later the battle cruiser the Atrioch, followed by three battleships, a dozen carriers and hundreds of smaller fleets, poured from the third docking bay of the Gete Star and began their `walk´.
Of course Dain did not do this out of the kindness of his heart. This particular captain owed him a bottle of booze and some money from their last poker game. Plus the fact that Dain was eager to test out his new fleet in a true space battle. While he had full faith in the Gete Star, he wanted to see what the ships it was building could truly do.
