There were a lot of complications that happened when you died. Aside from having everyone looking at you like you were a one of the legitimate walking dead, everyone and almost anyone seemed willing to question your authority. It was a real blow to the Emperor's self confidence, never mind that while he had been brought back to life, he remained a shadow of his former power. That didn't help in pleading his case that he was indeed who he said he was. When he appeared on the bridge with Whis, he had been left with only a few words, "Here is your Kabochan Emperor, Carambolis. Back in the flesh." He met Cam's gaze, "It will take you some time to regain your full power. Good luck!" And with that the Angel dismissed himself. Soldiers and ensigns drew weapons, Cam raised both his hands as Coca sat in the seat of command, pressing a button on her chair console she shouted frantically, "Duria! Duria get in here!" The Kabochan woman demanded, lofting a palm a burst of energy was gathered but not released. "Cam. Is that really you?"Of course it had been. He had to prove it though, and with only a fraction of his original power to do so. He had been detained, interviewed, samples of his blood and skin were taken, and after a process that took several days it had been determined indeed that Emperor Carambolis, first of his name had returned from the dead. The ship had rejoiced, his officers had rejoiced. They had all been sworn to the cause of uniting the galaxy and the dream wasn't dead. His first order was to let that information be known. A message sent to all his allies across the Galaxy, to Lute ( Lute) and the Earth and Xell. ( Van) to Colla and whatever the Saiyan Dominion was calling itself these days. The Emperor had been relayed the details of the battle that he fell in by Coca. That Xell, Guardian of Earth had clinched a narrow victory. "Seems it was worth the risk then." The Emperor said in a mischievous tone, trying to get a rise out of Coca and Duria. Both of whom shot the Emperor a positively venomous gaze. "For now we'll hold our position. Seems the galaxy is in disarray. We'll do this as intended: Finish the Battle for Ikonda, colonize Cane. Stabilize the eastern quadrant. The plan has not changed, merely the players.""Open a message to the Saiyans: Carambolis seeks an audience with their leader. I want to know where we stand without Radia leading the charge this time. Lets see if the Saiyans are true to their word, shall we?"

It was well known that with power vacuums in factions there came disarray, infighting, and destruction of order. After the Peace Accords, and Radia's death, the Saiyans were still licking their wounds. They released their holdings on the galaxy and prepared for the next step to keep them in the game as intergalactic warriors.
Losing their queen wouldn't change a Saiyan from a Saiyan, but it certainly put a damper on things. Currently Supreme Commander Onyon took himself on as the figurehead for his people, Colla, his daughter hung closely to his side as well. At least they had some strong commander in strength to assure the Saiyan people there wouldn't be any mis happenings, so they thought.
This leads us to Cassava, a former militant in the erm, former Dominion. She previously was a woman ferocious and unforgiving in combat. However, those days were long behind the woman. She strove to reach a new goal after the loss of a few key people in her life.
The Saiyan woman aimed to protect the people, the people whom couldn't defend themselves. While ti was vastly different than a normal Saiyan goal, it was one Cassava held near and dear to her heart. Alas, she had been doing diplomatic work throughout he galaxy, even going as far as to mend wounds between the Saiyans and the Empire. She had even set foot on Abbayor in an attempt to resolve bad blood, which seemed to help.
She stood on the command bridge on New Sadla when the message rang clear. Emperor Carambolis, a key player in the galaxy's powerhouses, and former fiancé to Colla was alive. The Saiyan nearly doubled over in her seat when she first saw the message.
"Supreme Commander, Operative Colla, you may want to see this," Cassava spoke through the comms, her voice shaking as she relayed the message. First though, she had a question for this so called emperor.
"Is this some sort of trick? I assume you have proof of such a claim?!" Cassava retorted in a message sent to the Kabochans. She would be a fool to take his word without proof, god knows what Colla or Onyon who were making their way to her now would say if this was some sort of prank. Cam | WC: 380

Carambolis waited patiently--it was about all he could do anyway. Sure he was alive, but the physical drain he felt from the restoration was immense. Walking to quickly could take its toll and it was quite easy to determine when the Emperor had taken things too far in his current state. A wracking, painful and bloody cough would interrupt his words. He had been taken to the medical halls of the ship, several doctors trying to determine the source. After running every scan possible, they concluded it was merely a symptom of whatever Carambolis had experienced, part of the restoration process wasn't over and he was pushing it. Coughing a few times into the anti-cubital of his arm, the Kabochan had expected this sort of reaction, it was only natural after all. Everyone had seen him die. "On screen, open all frequencies," he ordered the ship's computer, recording a video and audio message that would be sent out to anyone listening it seemed, "I am Emperor Carambolis. What you all saw at Abbayor happened. Myself, Polaris, and many others fell to Lord Snow and his minions."By the tone in his voice the Kabochan didn't like to admit he could be defeated, though now was the chance to make how things worked perfectly clear: "I was resurrected. It seems some forces that make up the host of our creation saw fit to regenerate me. I did indeed die and go to the after-life." Removing the gauntlet over his right hand he showed off the mark of Zenos upon the flesh of his forearm, "I have attained some form of immortality, I do not know what exactly it entails or how far these power extend, only that I have been granted them. For the time being, killing me doesn't seem to be the end." he stated this in a matter of fact tone, pulling his armored gauntlet back over his forearm, masking the mark he had been given. "If there is some test I must satisfy to prove I am myself to you Saiyans so be it." He left out the part that the restoration process left him weakened. Should anyone else be listening in, it would be better to let them think he was immortal rather than weakened. Hopefully seeing his face, hearing his mannerisms, watching the way he moved and spoke would give the Saiyans some confidence that they had not lost a powerful ally. "I intend to hold up my end of bargains made."Interestingly enough, this was the first his people below on the world of Kabocha were seeing his face. It would only take a few hours and the news would spread across the quadrant, a few days and the galaxy would know his status, the question was, would it summon challengers to face him? Would it inspire obedience? Fear? Likely the result was a mixture of all of these things, though currently he focused on one thing: how the Saiyans would react.

your darkness will be shrouded by my own. Cassava stood before the transmission in awe. She couldn't sure just how many were receiving it, but it wasn't so much of a private message as a broadcast. It didn't take long for Colla and Onyon to show up to the bridge with concern brushing their expressions. They thoroughly looked over the message from Carambolis, their minds wary still despite the claims of resurrection. Who could blame them? Surely even Cam couldn't think such was possible until it happened to him. "W-What is this? A joke?" Colla retorted, her face twisted into disgust as she looked to her father for an answer. "Cassava, what do you think?" Supreme Commander Onyon chimed in, his hulking form motioning for the woman to answer. "I mean, I don't know Carambolis personally, but I suppose in this world anything is possible. For him even to secure a line straight from Kabocha is impressive. If need be, I can investigate to ensure it is truly him," The raven-haired Saiyaness replied with a confident look. "Do it, if Carambolis is alive, this may be a chance to bridge the gap of our failing dominion and the remnants of his confederacy," Colla pleaded out in desperation. Though her father's face looks conflicted, he nodded along with the idea nonetheless. "All right, I'll set a course for Kabocha now," Cassava replied as a diplomat of the people. She turned towards the communication devices, her face stern and her voice dedicated. "Attention Kabocha and Emperor Carambolis. As a precaution I will travel to Kabocha myself to ensure that this is simply not a cruel joke, only then will Colla, and her father regain their communication with your confederacy. I hope this isn't an issue, but I'm sure you had enough of that coming back to life with your own people," Cassava chuckled a bit under her breath after the message was relayed. She could only imagine the face of Carambolis's people after he returned from the dead. Alas, that wasn't her problem. She had a ship ready to depart to Kabocha. She departed from the bridge and made her way to one of the many hangers on New Sadla. She took a simple warship, not too many luxuries and made herself comfortable within the cockpit. It wasn't long before the Saiyan got clearance and was making her way through the stars of the universe. Quadrants came and passed and it took a few hours flight for the woman to make herself into Kabocha territory. Alas, she was there, her eyes looking down at the now lushly green planet. She was set to land in a spaceport in Pukinpa directly. The same one that suffered an attack a few weeks earlier to retrieve Absolut from Kabocha's hands. The woman received clearance early thanks to the Emperor's grace and her ship landed in a hanger safely. She sighed. The woman didn't mind diplomacy work, especially if it meant building or reestablishing bridges between her people and the rest of the galaxy. Though personally, Cassava was tired of war, tired of the senseless killing. "Hm, I wonder if Carambolis sent his guard or is coming personally?" Cassava mumbled aloud while staring at the tablet in her hands. It was a correspondence between the Saiyan Kingdom and the Kabochan Confederacy.

In the time Cassava had used to get to Kabocha, Carambolis had already set to work on his own planet, making his presence known and his law and edicts decreed. By the time Cassava would land the Emperor would have already made himself comfortable in his palace. Things were oddly quiet in the large stone building: most ambassadors and envoys had gone home while the Kabochan confederacy had been deployed. The hangar Cassava had landed in was somewhat barren, though an entourage did await the Saiyan's ship. Two of his elite warriors: Hureo and Talfa, A Litt soldier, one of the pygmy bird-men, most were so weak their power levels weren't even capable of generating ki blasts. Hureo however was an exception to that rule, his power level rivaling that of the Saiyan Dominion's elite soldiers. Beside him a hot-pink skinned woman with white hair, Talfa. Nearly as strong the emperor's bodyguard Duria in power level and twice as cunning in battle. Despite her abilities, she was not sent to intimidate but to vanguard and greet. "Greetings, I am Lieutenant Talfa, this here is Lieutenant Hureo," Talfa gestured between the two of them, the woman appearing to be all smiles. "You'll have to forgive the Emperor for not greeting you here personally. He's been unable to go those extra miles for the time being due to his... Condition. I'll leave any explanations to him."Turning to leave Hureo nodded his head in greeting, "Please follow us," he asked, cordially as he could muster. Given the palace had been rebuilt and repaired in the last war on Kabocha, the building was fairly technologically advanced. Going from the hangar took the Saiyan past an armor as well as several conference rooms and through a polished marble lobby, fountain and fish included, into an elevator. The inside of the metal box appeared to be a smooth steel. "You'll be happy to know the Kabochan Confederacy and our Emperor are still quite eager to work with the Saiyans, there's a lot of potential in our alliance." The elevator would climb eight stories and then the doors would open, revealing another floor that appeared to dedicated to conferencing with other races in a more casual setting: An Atrium. Trees, flowers, grass, plants of all kinds from all over the galaxy had been carefully cultivated in the palace, once meant to be used for Kabocha's restoration though such a use was no longer necessary. "Welcome to the palace," Carambolis chimed towards Cassava. Here he was: the ruler of a governing force that had attained almost a quarter of the entire galaxy in the flesh. He was dressed in more formal but casual wear, a tan, satin robe that covered all of his form except his head and hands, which were currently clasped together in front of his body. Giving a bow of his head in a sing of greeting and respect, "And you are?" the Emperor quipped towards Cassava. Another pair of elite guard stood at either side of the Emperor, the only motion or words they offered to the Saiyan would be a similar nod in greetings, "I hope you don't mind my retinue here. One can never be too careful these days."

your darkness will be shrouded by my own. It was a pleasant trip with little to few hiccups as she traverse quadrants and made her way to Kabocha. While Cassava had never been to the planet personally, she had heard of its affairs alongside Onyon's and Colla's plots with the Emperor of the Confederacy. Her nose was long out of such politics at that point, but in more recent times Cassava had been falling into a role of diplomat for the Saiyans and their people. Not only had she traveled to Abbayor and distributed medication and aid to some of the less than fortunate in their lower poverty-stricken sectors. She had worked along her own people to try and help rebuild bridges and maintain proper appearances amongst other powerhouses in the galaxy. Cassava had long left the trials of war in her past, not that she wasn't guilty of the senseless killing of a people she didn't have any personal problems with. A soldier. Pointed and told what to do. No better than a mere weapon, like a gun or a sword. Cassava was that. Not that you could tell now by her positive behavior and overly social personality. She strove to make a change in herself. She worked to make comrades and stop the senseless killings that war brought. Perhaps the woman even wanted to unify the galaxy. Her ship's door hissed open as she took in a deep breath of the Kabochan air. It was rather relaxing, perhaps the new arrival of lush greenery to the surface made the air a bit better quality that it was in the past. Heavy katchin boots chimed against the surface of the hanger floor as the raven-haired Saiyan pulled herself out of the ship and looked around curiously. "Greetings, I am Lieutenant Talfa, this here is Lieutenant Hureo," A feminine voice rang out. The Saiyan nodded, a small hand waving towards the pair as she walked to meet and great the Lieutenants Carambolis had appointed. "Ahh, nice to meet you two. No worries, I understand that an Emperor is rather busy!" Cassava smiled as they walked through the beautifully renovated building. Talfa spoke of the eagerness of an alliance still. Truth be told, the Saiyans could use any alliances they could get in such a time of turmoil. Alas, Cassava was here to verify this was indeed Carambolis, Colla herself even gave the woman a few ideas of what he would be like from their brief stent of an engagement. A new voice entered her head as the elevator doors opened. With it, there was Carambolis. He bowed, and in return she did as well. "I am former Lieutenant Cassava, now diplomat of the Saiyan Kingdom," The woman with a river of black hair stretching down to her calves replied. She made her way deeper into the planet filled room, her eyes marveling at the care and decoration. "I must say, I feel outnumbered!" Cassava joked at the comment of Carambolis being accompanied by his lieutenants. Truth be told, Cassava didn't worry about it much, from what she could tell the emperor was under some sort of illness like Talfa mentioned earlier. Alas, that didn't concern her so much. "So, truth be told you threw us all for a bit of a loop with that transmission, you can understand. I'm sure your own people probably did a double take," The Saiyan made her way towards one of the chairs in the meeting room before she found a spot to make herself comfortable for the talk. "We have much to go over, I suppose."

Carambolis chortled, though that laugh turned into a cough half way through it, the Emperor patting his chest, as though that would stop the rattling he felt in his lungs. "I can understand the trepidation of many. Seems the gods are not without a sense of humor after all." At Cassava's mention of his guard the Emperor only offered a smile, though his expression betrayed a look of frustration that he had failed to veil. "I did indeed meet my end at the hands of Lord Snow. As did Polaris and Gallius, almost Earth's guardian as well.""Are you religious at all Cassava?" Carambolis asked as they walked among the Atrium's confines. The occasional sound of a bird chirping on the babble of a small brooks or fountain could be heard. "I wasn't, still wouldn't say I am, but then again I know the gods and their servants--the afterlife, all of it exists. I've seen it with my own eyes both when I was alive and dead. It is a system of sorts that can be understood." The Emperor paused to stop in front of a fountain that looked to be made out of a tarnished copper, atop the fountain the elegant and nude form of a lithe woman was posed mid-stride in a dance, water trickling out of the fountain beneath the statues feet. "The gods see fit to provide me with... Immortality of some sort I suppose. It comes at a price though. For some time I will be weakened physically. A shadow of my former power, until I recover fully."The Emperor shrugged, at a loss for words in his situation. Not sure how much he should tell the Saiyan woman, though honesty in this case was the best policy. The Emperor seemed amused with Cassava's presentation and how she might feel apprehensive--Cam might have were he a lone soldier at the heart of an entirely alien empire. "You're right though, we do have much to go over. Before we go any further though, Is there anything else I must do to satisfy your perceptions? I indeed am who I say I am. I assure you more tests than I cared to have done on me were ran by my own people to confirm my identity and that I wasn't some sort of impostor. Seems some rumors are still abound, due to my currently low power level. I hope that angel is right--Two weeks he warned me. We're still in week one. Being a Saiyan, I don't suppose I have to tell you that not being able to exercise my powers at full capacity is... Difficult."He had pushed himself once already. Taken to the training hall where he had fought another Saiyan elite, Eschalot. ( Pepa) Testing his mettle against Duria had proven less than effective. Though weakened his power level still could peak at a maximum close to six thousand. Sitting at the higher end of the average Saiyan warrior, while some might see it still as strength, was quite limiting and one could see the stir-crazy look in the Emperor's eyes. He was grateful to be alive, but without power existence was more suffering than pleasure, an immense blow to the Emperor's pride. Was it possible that Carambolis could be humbled though?

your darkness will be shrouded by my own. Cassava noted the impairment of Carambolis's lungs. He was sick, that much was obvious. Other than the weakness that his body showed, his power was wavering way below what she was told by her superiors. A katchin covered fingertip pressed to her chin as she listened to the man, their forms walking through the serene atrium as their conversation persisted. He explained things that she knew, that he, Polaris, Gallius, and Radia had all suffered the same fate; yet here he was. Did this mean there was hope for the former queen of the Saiyans? It was something their kingdom would have to look into if so, alas, this weakness that accompanied the resurrection, how long did it persist? Cam asked the woman if she were religious. "I would say I'm just about as spiritual as the next person, though seeing you here. . . I definitely am a bit conflicted," Cassava replied as the emperor went on to talk about the gods, the afterlife, and all of the stuff that many believed to be a work of fiction made up for the greater morality of the universe. "The gods huh? W-Which gods?" Cassava stuttered, her mind filled by the various images of gods created throughout all of time. It felt as if ever region, every planet worshipped a different higher power. Carambolis used the term in a plural sense, so there was certainly more than one singular omnipotent ruler of the afterlife. Interesting indeed. Cam spoke of proving to her that he was indeed the emperor of Kabocha. He mentioned that his people had already put him through such a trial of tests and verifications. What could the man do to prove to her that he was indeed Cam beyond what he already had for his people, after all, they knew him better than she or even Colla did. "I wouldn't think that your people, or even your spaceport would allow me such immediate access to this planet, let alone this palace without direct word from a higher command of power. That being said, I wouldn't think they'd even allow you to make or stake such a claim without a verification of your identity. I trust your word emperor, and surely, this lack of power must be frustrating for you, I couldn't imagine."
Even the woman's power dwarfed Carambolis's in such a state. It was an oddity to be sure, alas, the business they had to speak of was more the emperor's plans now that he was alive. "Tell me, why did you decided to come back? Do you still carry the same ambitions as before? I'm sure your empire has taken a major hit in your absence, at least, the Dominion has. To be perfectly frank, we as a people are still unsure what direction to take, while we want to uphold Radia's final wishes, not everyone in the Kingdom feels that way."

Perhaps the one question that mattered: What was the mission? Had his ambitions changed? "No. I still think finding a way to unite and protect our universe is a worthy goal. Just as one man I united an entire quadrant. I see no reason to change course, though for my health I perhaps have to change some of my mthods."Carambolis sighed heavily, "It's regrettable, what happened to Radia. She died a hollow death. You ask me, I think a warrior should get a fair chance to challenge their enemies face to face. Snow and his ilk got the drop on all of us. I'm glad they were ultimately defeated, I knew trusting Lord Snow was a mistake on Radia's part, unfortunately I never got to tell her so myself." She had gambled. The Saiyan queen had taken a gamble and lost and it cost her her life. "I liked Radia. She was unflinching, I find most Saiyans are. I hope you lot don't lash out before a plan of action is formulated. Enemies like Snow will try to use those Saiyan nerves of steel against you, he certainly used them against me. Never again." The Kabochan halted in their leisurely walk. Reaching down to the hem of his sleeve and drawing it back to expose his mark of Zenos, "This is the mark of the gods I serve. Zenos is the name, I know next to nothing about them, even the oldest texts I could find it only references vague mentions of a creator deity." Letting Cassava examine the mark before drawing his sleeve back over it. "They're not evil gods as far as I can tell. Powerful and chaotic at times but it seems they are... If not a part then perhaps a whole of the natural order. The blue skinned one who returned me from the afterlife, I believe he is a custodian of some sort to Zenos."Dragging a hand over his features the Emperor remarked, "I apologize, I wish I had more I could give you but that's about it in terms of what I know. I imagine I'll find out more, for now they've instructed me to carry out my plans as best I can. I cautioned them about some potential enemies but Whis seemed unconcerned." The Kabochan shrugged then, "My plan hasn't changed but I may need to rethink how I enact it. You say your Saiyan Kingdom wishes to uphold Radia's final wishes? Just what do you believe those to be?" Finally a chance for some proper cross-examination. Carambolis wasn't going to throw his lot in with they Saiyans if they had turned into a lemon though he had no indication to think that was the case, after all they had merely lost a leader and were seeking a new one. That was a role he was more than willing to accommodate. "Regardless of how this meeting adjourns, I will stay the course. I still have a few aces up my sleeve, the dragonballs to name one such ace." It was true that Amatricina had stolen his clutch of dragonballs he had gathered on earth, however he had devised a simple way to track the dragonballs: tag them. Each one had a thin clear blotch of paint dabbed on the outside of the dragonball when it was within the Kabochan confederacy's clutches, the polymer was made from materials not native to Earth, so by simply using scanners and detectors designed to look for this trace paint he could easily retrieve the dragonballs from Earth, even in their dormant state. What he would use them to do though would have a far more resounding effect though.

your darkness will be shrouded by my own. Hmm, some of your methods. I like the phrasing." Cassava nodded, her voice echoing throughout the atrium. Cam's words came as sympathy. His voice said that he felt regret for the happenings with Radia. Of course, a warrior challenged with a knife in their back is going to have a disadvantage; but what about not even a chance? Most fighters in the galaxy were either righteous and straight walking, or corrupt and thirsty for trouble. She hadn't really known the Kabocha enough to judge him yet, however, their time together thus far was pleasant. The Kabochan halted suddenly though. He finally had put a name to a god. Zenos. An odd name indeed fit the mark upon Carambolis's limb. She stared for a good moment longer before the emperor spoke again. This time, Radia's final wishes. It was hard to speak for what the woman really thought in her head, alas, in her final time in the living realm she spoke a desire. To unify the galaxy, to start bolstering the people and being protectors. "The Saiyan queens wanted to let go of old bonds, to move forward in a more progressive method. She wanted to support a United Species and supply aid to the planets trying to get back on their feet after a tireless war. " Cassava spoke truthfully, her idly gaze meeting Carambolis's as he began the list multiple goals he wanted to meet. The Saiyan could admire his resolve. She too had worked tirelessly to build these bridges, ease relations, provide aid. It was the least she could muster up, especially after ending so many lives. There was a heavy conscious sitting on the woman wrapped in tatters. "What do you plan to do with the Dragonballs anyhow? You peaked my interest it seems," The woman nodded her head joyfully. "I couldn't tell you what I would do with some all powerful wish, it'd be wild." Cassava paused. "There is no doubt some Saiyans who wish to break away and keep to their old warring ways. Then there are those of us who seek refuge from the horrors of the battles taking place all around the galaxy.."

"I'm going to wish for what we need to end this war, plain and simple." The Kabochan offered a coy and mischievous smile. At the mention of Saiyans who still wished to embrace their old ways the Kabochan's smile faded. His chest rising and falling as he heaved a sigh. "Fighters are always needed or wanted. Regardless of what the end game is, we still have to get to it, aye?" How acutely ironic it was for him to mention so as well, after all, he had died once before. "That said, I'll minimize losses for our side, I'm currently in the process of redeveloping my army and armada. People like to think armies are neat and clean. That every soldier wears the same crisp and polished uniform, the reality is further from the truth. You fight with the army you have though, not the army you want. That said I would like to talk with your leaders more. I trust Colla and Onyon made it out?" He didn't know all the details of what had happened at Abbayor, the Dominion as a whole had flinched when their leader died and the Kabochan Confederacy had done the same thing. He would have to make them unflinching, even in the face of death. "Old ways or new, the Saiyans are welcome. I keep a seat at my table for all my allies, whether they sit in it or not is up to them. If Colla needs more proof of my existence then give her these." Reaching up to his ears he un-pinned a par if earrings, two old silver hoops, tarnished in some places but they still carried a steely luster. One of the few items he had kept from his childhood into adulthood--one of the few things that no one bothered to take from him really. "Both Kabochans and Saiyans need to move forward. My world is restored, I will open it as a refuge to what our planet can safely maintain. Right now there are entire cities on Kabocha that my people used to live in, restored. Metropolis all over the planet, simply empty due to out wars with the Ikondans. I'll need help from the Saiyans though. My people would quickly be outnumbered on their own home world once open to all, that concerns me greatly." Kabocha was home after all, you only got one and you had to defend it. His people defended their world to the end when it was dying, now verdant and restored, thriving with life and technology they were all the more defensive.

your darkness will be shrouded by my own. Cassava was enjoying the brief stent with the Emperor, but it seemed that this emperor wanted to mix words with Colla and Onyon more so than her. She couldn't blame the man, still, he explained his plans of stopping wars to her. That was something that the Saiyan thought they could do away with. At least, it was a hope she had. Too often had innocent lives been taken due to a finger pointing them off in a direction to kill or conquer. "At least you're on the ball Emperor Carambolis. Prepare your armies, your armadas, prepare it all." Cassava joked at the man's mention of repairing his fleet of warriors. He quickly made sure to ask about Onyon and his daughter. Cassava simply nodded. "Yes, they are both still intact. They managed to get out of there okay, just---some bad images," Cassava spoke. Whatever the two went through watching their queen get murdered was surely upsetting. Perhaps they were more upset that Snow hadn't challenged them to a direct fight? "It's good to hear you still at least consider us allies. I'll be sure to let Colla and Onyon know about this, about everything. I'm sure they wanted to mix words with you, alas, they couldn't have been too safe." Cassava nodded as the man took off his earrings. She held them in her palm, looking them over a few times before just assuming they were something the man held close. Something that Colla knew about. The woman tucked them away in her satchel cautiously before turning to face Cam once more. She wasn't expecting Cam to open his world as refuge however. Was he trying to win favors in the eyes of the Saiyans? Whatever he was wanting unnerved Cassava. Perhaps she was just disdainful towards empires in general. "That's very bold of you, to offer up your home as a place of refuge. Admirable." The woman with black hair smiled, her eyes scanning back towards the others in the room and the exit. "I can't say for not how the feelings are between you and the Saiyan leaders right now. I can't speak for their opinions on aiding you in your plight either Carambolis. Still, I promise I'll relay your messages. I'm sure you'll hear something back from us immediately. They wouldn't have sent me here if you weren't an important man to them."
Cassava cleared her throat, her eyes shifting to a from before she spoke again. "I'm sure we both need time to recover and think on this however. I'm sure you understand."

Carambolis nodded in the affirmative, "Indeed. I intend to be stronger than ever when I do recover. This will all take time and planning. Seems like everything is in chaos or recovery across the galaxy. Luckily I have a few allies already out there trying to keep the peace."His arms uncrossed then, his stance and demeanor seeming more open in the presence of the Saiyan. "Do tell Colla I miss her affections," he imagined the terse Saiyan warrior of a woman would be amused by that gesture. The pair had not so much as kissed, ever. That of course didn't stop either of them from accepting the proposal that had been extended--One Colla herself had extended to the Kabochan Cam later found out. "I trust your leaders. I think they'll rise to the occasion. In the meantime, you're welcome to remain here for the rest of the evening. We can see that your ship is fueled and prepped for you in the morning if you like. You came here at a fortuitous time after all. More than enough of everything for everyone. Our world, such as it was for many centuries, was still more rich with natural resources than any other planet in the galaxy." Indeed, over seventy percent of Kabocha's mantle, surface, and crust had been rich with minerals and metals desired all over the galaxy. Sure there were plenty of basic materials like copper and iron, but materials that one could no longer get on Earth, such as cobalt and helium could be found in an abundance here. Of course Carambolis knew that also meant plutonium, uranium, elements unique to this world as well. All things he could use to fuel his empire even further, either through commerce or weaponization, in his case it was both, the Emperor had already given the order for his military efforts to collect thorium from his planet's surface, the unstable material was the perfect fuel for his fleet. "Anything else you care you add? If not, Deon here can show you to your quarters." the Emperor gestured to a large Beppan, the hulking green skinned warrior seemed less than pleased with being stuck on guard duty or acting as a babysitter. "Please. I'd like the chance to talk with a Saiyan for a change. A true respectable warrior race!" Deon would chuckle then, slapping Cam on the back, "They don't die, not like a certain someone I know."

your darkness will be shrouded by my own. "Allies are imperative no matter what the options. It's good to have those who can lift you back to your feet after a hard fall. Despite you coming back from the grave, I'm sure there are still those who doubt you. Doubt that you'll ever be the same, fear that you may become something worse. An uncontrollably strong tyrant who uses his people like cannon fodder."
Cassava spoke simply and slowly. Her eyes glazed over with each word. It wasn't until Carambolis mentioned Colla, and the possibility of her even having affections that caused Cassava to burst into laughter. She nodded heartily, her golden hues setting on the emperor wearing elaborate robes. "I don't need to heart about that, ew."
Cassava's cheeks were flustered. Alas, it seemed that Carambolis still wanted to torture her. She could only hope that he wouldn't talk about Colla in such a way for the remainder of her stay. Wait, did she even feel comfortable staying on Kabocha for the night? Shoulders slumped, the raven-haired woman looked around at the mention of a Deon. "I erm, no, I think you really hit the nail on the head with everything Emperor. Wait, Deon?" Cassava stated, her wary eyes following Cam's finger. He pointed at the green monstrosity, and the Saiyan just stood there in complete awe. It was terrifying and completely chill with its dialect. Deon walked to Cam and gave him a healthy slap on the back. "Talk to a Saiyan? Oh lord," The woman sulked further with the green fellows' righteous comments about her race. Idle fingers scratched at the back of her head as she tried to relate to the two men who appeared to be close in nature. They spoke to one another like only siblings or someone you've know for a long and understand on a root level. It was odd to see such interactions with the everyday man, Carambolis really seemed to care about his people and his confederacy. "I appreciate all this time you arranged to speak with me. I do. I wasn't exactly expecting a place to rest my head, but I suppose it is late. Perhaps bed will take me early tonight?" Cassava joked, a playful wink hurling towards Cam. "Deon, let us talk about the wonders of life and what condiment is the best!" Cassava waved towards the Emperor before looking towards Deon to lead the way to her quarters. Luckily, the woman would sleep easier tonight, knowing that the Saiyans still had competent allies.
