CHARACTER BIO
(Left) Second Lieutenant Pricota, Virayned Military Academy Yearbook, Class of Age 699, Colorized
(Right) Colonel Pricota, Propaganda Shoot for Tuffle Military, circa Age 729, Colorized
NAME:
Colonel Pricota, AKA:
Lieutenant Theyn Murowski | "Odin" | Various Other Aliases and Cover Identities
RACE:
Modified Tuffle Clone (Xeno)
AGE:
13 (Physically) - yes, she's grown some
44 (Mentally)
GENDER:
F
HEIGHT/WEIGHT:
4'9", 40kg - wew, six more inches! Thanks, puberty!
APPEARANCE:
A short blonde humanoid with shoulder-length hair tied into a ponytail. She is almost always seen in formal military dress, even when out on the field. Pricota has blue eyes and exaggeratedly bushy eyelashes. She has a prominent 'duckbill' mouth.
Originally a tall, well-built humanoid with long blonde hair that covered the right side of her face. The duckbill grew into a set of full lips. Again, almost never seen without formal military attire.
These are just a few of her known decoy bodies.
MOTIVATIONS:
Simply put, Colonel Pricota wishes to eradicate the Saiyans, and will do whatever it takes to achieve this goal. Her current modus operandi is assuming covert control of the galaxy, performing subversive politics and manipulations in order to place her puppets in command of various organizations.
That being said, her current goal is to succeed in overthrowing the Empire, because her superiors have ordered her to remain undercover. Her current primary persona? Upright and stalwart former Galactic Patrol officer Theyn Murowski, now the leader of the defunct Galactic Patrol's loyalist faction, now rebranded as the Valkyries.
QUIRKS:
Tempered Saiyaphobe
For obvious reasons, Colonel Pricota despises any and all Saiyans. Tails, no tails, full-blooded, hybrids, distant descendants... The only goal left in her life is to wipe all traces of the Saiyan race from the galaxy. In the years since beginning her mission, she has become really good at hiding her disdain for the race, however, and is now capable of working with them without flying into a berserker rage.
Conniving Manipulator
Pricota is a stone cold manipulator who sees no value in other people aside from how they may be used to further her end goals. She will not hesitate to shoot someone who she believes has become a security risk or liability. The only reason she would act nice is because she may have a later use for you. Considering she frequently puts up such a veneer, that means she's out to spin a lot of people. Her most honest expression is a crazed grin that says she is about to make a highly destructive order.
Fallen Hero
Pricota once had a sense of honor, an esprit de corps fostered from a healthy career in the Tuffle military. Much like anyone enlisting to fight for her nation, she was a patriot, until the very end. The bitter loss of everything she loved has driven most of that away, filling her with a seething desire for vengeance instead. A need to keep herself detached lest any new friends die again. But once someone gets under that... she might just show that person a bit more of what she once was.
One-Track Mind
She is obsessed with eradicating the Saiyans as payback for their destruction of the Tuffle Race. As such, everything she does will somehow contribute to this final goal. Be it influencing galactic politics, building up alliances, or saving someone, it's all going to come down to destroying those monkeys for good.
Hands-Off Person
She prefers to let her subordinates, pawns, drones, or even remote controlled avatars do the fighting for her. Her job mainly consists of giving orders or talking people into doing things. Most of the time, she won't even bother showing her face. Fights with Pricota usually involve her soldiers, manipulated third party pawns, drones, or even a warrior avatar that she 'possesses' from a distance using her psychic powers.
BONDS:
President OJ Drinman - The mysterious leader of the Continuum, who provides her with mission briefings. She doesn't trust him, mostly because he chooses to hide behind 'audio-only' transmissions, despite the fact that video feed is no less difficult to encrypt. Anyone who needs to hide their face surely has even more things to hide.
Family and Friends - All dead. Exterminated by the Saiyans when they attacked the Tuffle Capital on the night of the full moon. She fights in their memory, though their memory has been fading as of late.
Audrey, AKA "Freya" - A cybernetic android she inducted into the Galactic Patrol, and subsequently the revived Task Force Valkyrie. Audrey is an amazing design, and a loyal follower with a sense of duty to protecting Earth. One of the few people outside of the Continuum she fully trusts.
Emperor Polaris - A seemingly heroic Frieza clanner who once served as a fellow Lieutenant in the Galactic Patrol, albeit at the head of a more prestigious unit. Now ruling as the Emperor of the Galaxy thanks to suspicious circumstances. Having interacted with him well before his accession, she has arrived at the conclusion that he was something of a plotter cultivating a positive image for unknown purposes. After all, it was kind of hard to hide that egotastic interior behind a veneer of humility when you built thousand-foot statues of yourself to decorate your own palace on your own personal fortress world. She believes that his succession of the King is no accident, and wasn't surprised at all that it happened, retroactively concluding that this was his plan all along. Like most other Continuum agents, however, she appreciates his disdain for the Saiyan race, and were it not for her superiors ordering her to continue pretending to be a loyal, heroic Galactic Patrolman, she would have been one of the first to join the Imperial Patrol. However, loyalty to the government trumps shortcuts to accomplishing the mission. It shouldn't just be done, it should be done properly.
Shale Evans - An Earthling archaeologist with an attitude. Something of an odd friendship forged under fire. That is, the fire of enemies, and each other's fire while they're at it. She can tell that Shale has gotten herself into some pretty weird stuff... like occult Kraftlovian activities.
The Valkyries - Originally 'Task Force Valkyrie', an elite Galactic Patrol unit. It has since expanded to include all of the surviving Patrolmen who dissented against Polaris' accession to the throne, as well as unlikely heroes from Earth. Right now, it serves as her primary 'unit', and, from her days in the Tuffle Royal Armed Forces, treats them as her men.
Lieutenant Purum, aka Corporal Novak - Pricota's First Mate. An enthusiastic young Tuffle recruit from the Prunus Tribe in the western quadrant, Purum hopes to serve her government to the best of her ability. Technically, there is no longer a Tuffle Government, despite the Continuum's claims to the contrary, as there is no longer a Tuffle Civilization. She serves as second in command aboard the Revenant and provides the Colonel with live updates on pertinent mission information.
Revenant Cell - A crew of five 'recivilized' tribal Tuffles assigned to her command by the Continuum. They serve as the skeleton crew to her mostly AI-controlled ship, the Revenant. Pricota sees them as frustratingly naive if well-meaning nuisances that must be kept alive only because of orders from the higher-ups.
MELON Troopers - Occasionally called the 'Poor Man's Saiyan'. Artificial super soldiers based primarily on Saiyan DNA acquired during the 'pickling' experiments performed during the war. Due to their genetic modifications, they have lost most of their racial characteristics such as tails, arrogance, and personal pride, while retaining a degree their impressive physical and ki potential. The former have instead been replaced with fanatical loyalty to the Continuum in order to shape the latter into a useful form.
As they do not have Tuffle DNA, some Continuum members consider them more of slave soldiers than actual subordinates. MELONs fight not with ki or martial arts, but with weapons and armor specifically crafted for them by the Continuum. They use their ki reserves to power their weapons and armor instead.
A pair of these soldiers serve as Pricota's constant bodyguards, while 98 more await deployment aboard the Revenant. She sees them as useful brawn and nothing more.
Blue Unit - An all volunteer unit of Galactic Patrolmen who have signed on for Pricota's high-tech experiments. They have been kitted out with the latest in 'Galactic Patrol' technology, including advanced power armor and superior anti-ki weapons. She considers them a baseline of how GP forces can cope against Saiyan opponents.
BACKSTORY:
Colonel Pricota was once one of the Tuffle Kingdom's top field commanders. Graduating from Virayned Military Academy at the age of 11 - a full year ahead of the average graduate age - she quickly established herself as a skilled officer. She found herself climbing the ranks of the 51st Technowarfare Division, specializing in advanced weapon systems like combat drones, battle suits, orbital cannons, and others. During the Saiyan-Tuffle War, she served with distinction on the field under General Cerola, employing advanced tactics and the best military technology the Kingdom had to offer. That was, until the final night of the war, when Planet Plant's full moon revealed itself and transformed the Saiyan Army into Great Apes, allowing them to almost completely annihilate the Tuffle race.
Colonel Pricota fell that night on the field of battle, valiantly staying behind to buy time for a VIP evacuation craft to launch. Her sacrifice was not in vain, as this vessel housed top brass, scientists, other crucial personnel, and the best technology deemed necessary for the Kingdom’s final contingency.
This tiny group of about a hundred individuals eventually formed the core of a clandestine organization known as the Continuum, which made it their objective to exact vengeance on the Saiyan Race.
Over 500 years later, Colonel Pricota was cloned at a secret Continuum bunker located on a wild, unpopulated planet at the edge of the galaxy. All of her memories from her past life were preserved, beamed to the VIP craft via her neural uplink as she died as part of the Fruit Basket Project, ensuring that her superiors had a backup copy of her mind.
She was soon contacted by her superiors and given instructions to help bring about the final contingency, the annihilation of the Saiyan Race. For this task, she has been assigned a certain amount of resources and personnel, including the OSE-class Cruiser Revenant with its full complement, and a pair of elite MELON Troopers as her personal bodyguards.
Having served as a long-term mole in the Galactic Patrol for the past two years, its dissolution has changed nothing. The President has ordered her to retain her cover, and continue serving as the leader of the loyalist movement, the Valkyries. In this capacity, she operates under the identity of 'Odin', a mysterious technological wizard, with which she uses her equipment far more liberally, due to the added anonymity.
CALL TO ACTION:
Colonel Pricota was literally cloned to fulfil her mission, the eradication of all Saiyans. It doesn't get any more call-to-action-ey than that.
OTHER:
Faction.
The Continuum
The Bicranial Eagle, a reworking of the Tuffle Kingdom’s Broad Eagle. The second head represents a second chance to achieve victory in the war on Sayains.
Overview
A clandestine organization founded by the surviving members of the Tuffle Kingdom’s top brass, scientists, and other key personnel, for the sole purpose of eradicating the Saiyans. It is highly jingoistic and militaristic, its traditions rooted in the Royal Tuffle Armed Services.
Most of its members are sterile clones of prominent Tuffles. Their memories, intellects, and personalities have been preserved by the Fruit Basket Project, a contingency plan enacted by Tuffle High Command in the final months of the Saiyan-Tuffle War to ensure the survival of Tuffle knowledge.
The Continuum operates in the shadows, using spies and agents with low profile personas to siphon money and resources from the galactic economy. It is essentially a parasite on the finances of the free galaxy, feeding on multiple miniscule trickles of funding to keep itself running.
For combat, their secretive nature has them preferring high-intensity lightning raids over protracted open warfare. These operations usually involve planting false evidence pointing to other, more publicly visible factions as being responsible for their activities. As a result, tensions between the greater factions grow, while they accomplish their objectives in secret.
Due to their history, the Continuum prefers using ultra-advanced Tuffle-developed technologies rather than ki techniques. After five centuries of continuous refinement, this technology has advanced to the point of being able to keep up with ki users in most areas.
History
The Continuum is the unintended result of the Fruit Basket Project, a contingency plan enacted by Tuffle High Command in the final months of the Saiyan-Tuffle War, when they began to seriously consider the possibility of defeat. Fruit Basket was originally intended to preserve the knowledge of the Tuffle Race and provide any survivors of the war with a means of rebuilding their fallen civilization. It would do this by preserving the memories, intellects, and personalities of the best and brightest Tuffle minds on a supercomputer, and then implanting them in genetically enhanced clones known as Custodians.
The Custodians would have served as the protectors and guides of the Tuffle survivors. They would have passed on the knowledge of the Tuffle Kingdom, while ensuring the survivors would withstand the rigors of living in a post-apocalyptic realm while rebuilding their civilization. With the disastrous conclusion of the Saiyan-Tuffle War, however, nearly all of the race was destroyed, leaving only a few tiny scattered groups that would eventually devolve into tribes over the centuries.
Understanding that the Tuffle Gene Pool was no longer viable, even considering the presence of the tribes, the orchestrators of the Fruit Basket Project, the 100 surviving members of Tuffle High Command, decided to retool the program. Instead of serving as a tool for an impossible reconstruction, it would become a weapon of extinction. Now, the Custodians serve as agents of the Tuffles’ vengeance, much in the same capacity as Dr. Lychee and Hatchiyack.
High Command reorganized themselves into the Continuum, and have made it their mission to ensure that the race responsible for the Tuffles’ extinction, the Saiyans, are also wiped from the face of the universe.
The Continuum has operated silently for the past few centuries, focusing on monitoring the status of the Saiyan Race and the galaxy at large, while developing newer and more advanced technologies to overcome their hated foe. Gone was the peaceful Tuffle culture once known to the Continuum’s members, replaced only by a seething hatred. Because of this, the Continuum has evolved into a highly militaristic and jingoistic subculture, becoming the very thing they despised in order to destroy it.
Today, they are an insidious parasite, silently feeding off the wealth and resources of the galaxy in order to fund their Final Contingency, a plot for the eradication of the Saiyan race.
Membership
In total, the Continuum has about 1000 members, split up into over a hundred independent cells across the galaxy. A large majority of them are Custodians, enhanced clones of prominent Tuffles created using an advanced biofacturing process developed as part of the Fruit Basket Project.
Custodians are biologically sterile, as they are not intended to pass on their genes, but rather serve as a superior body to carry the memories, intellect, and personality of a chosen few Tuffles. A central digitized Psychovault houses all of the preserved minds of the Tuffles used as templates for the Custodians. This vault is hidden on a dead planet somewhere within the corpse of the South Galaxy.
The minority of Continuum members who are not Custodians are split into two groups: Frozen Scientists, and 're-civilized' tribals. The frozen scientists were offworld at the time of the Tuffle eradication, performing crucial research in secret bunkers scattered across the galaxy in an attempt to aid in the war effort. These Scientists were directly supervised by Tuffle Science Command, the scientific branch of Tuffle High Command.
After the war ended, they shifted gears in their research as directed by the Continuum, from defense, to total annihilation. When news of Planet Vegeta’s destruction by Frieza reached them, however, these research teams elected to put themselves in stasis and until this day lay dormant, awaiting the Call of the Continuum.
Tribals, on the other hand, are the few remaining modern Tuffles. They are descended either from the few groups of Tuffles that managed to evacuate in the last days of the war, or from one of several aborted colony projects that were attempted during the war. The latter were conceived of as a way to ensure a viable Tuffle gene pool on other worlds, but these efforts failed for all sorts of reasons, from financial to political. The colonies were all eventually abandoned by the government, leaving them with small populations that eventually devolved into tribes.
The Continuum silently monitors these tribes, and whenever a tribesman or woman begins to display visible anger against the Saiyans, they are quickly recruited and 're-civilized'. Any misconceptions about Tuffle history are completely dispelled, and the member is additionally put through an indoctrination program to secure their loyalty. This is a comparatively cheap way to boost the Continuum's numbers, as biofacturing Custodians is a more costly process.
Continuum members are further characterized by their utter disdain for ki, as this was the primary source of the Saiyans’ power. Instead, for combat, they prefer using ultra-advanced technologies tailored specifically to fighting against ki users. They are not, however, above utilizing ki where it is convenient. For instance, their MELON Troopers use ki to fuel their Power Armor, instead of potentially hazardous equipment such as fusion cores.
Leadership
The Continuum is led by the mysterious President O.J. Drinman, who communicates with the rest of the Continuum’s members in ‘Fireside Chats’. It is believed that President Drinman is himself a Custodian, a composite of the mind of King Tuffle and those of his top generals and advisors. However, this speculation is impossible to prove, as the President only ever communicates in audio format, and never includes video in his transmissions.
Secrecy and Modus Operandi
Due to its clandestine nature and strictly implemented security protocols, the Continuum is mostly an unknown in galactic affairs, not even a blip on the radar of the major factions. At most, they are a rumor within a riddle even to those in the realm of intelligence, superstitious ghost stories that no credible agent or analyst would believe.
These stories are full of exaggerations, misinformation, and misleading evidence, painting the Continuum’s activities as being part of eitherFrieza Force the Galactic Empire, Saiyan Dominion, or even Capsule Corp covert operations. Very few suspect the existence of the Continuum at all, and of those few, even less believe that it is anything other than a top secret unit working for the one of the major factions. After all, who would suspect these incidents to actually have been the result of the machinations of a nearly extinct race?
This is all well and good, considering the Continuum's relatively scarce resources. Most of their funding comes from wealthy puppets involved in galactic finances, allowing them to develop extremely robust precision strike forces. These crack units, typically composed of a MELON Tac-Team overseen by a Custodian commander from orbit, break in, perform their objective, and make a clean getaway.
However, the Continuum lacks the manpower and materiel necessary to fight total war, moreover one that might become protracted. While the Continuum’s biofacturing process is highly efficient, it is not cheap enough to be used to create an army. As such, most of the Continuum’s finances go into paying for the maintenance of Custodians and MELONs, and the biofacturing of any necessary replacements. Any spare funding is used to build OSE-class Cruisers, of which they have amassed a tiny fleet of 17.
Lastly, while Continuum bases are capable of manufacturing weapons and equipment, there is simply not enough industrial capacity to scale it up to the level of a galactic war. As such, they prefer to remain in the shadows and instead attempt to turn the greater powers against each other.
Mobile Elements Linked to Operations Network, or MELONs, are artificial lifeforms created by Continuum scientists to serve as their elite supersoldiers, and to function as the brawn to the brains of the Continuum’s Tuffle-based constituents. They are technically more of slave soldiers than actual members of the Continuum, and don’t count towards the total of 1000 Continuum members. MELONs are grown in vats located aboard specialized Continuum ships, which serve as their habitats and training grounds. This differs somewhat from the Custodian biofacturing process, which is far more precise. There are approximately 2000 actively serving MELONs.
They represent the Continuum’s ‘destined’ victory over the Saiyan Race in several ways. First, they are based primarily on Saiyan DNA, but altered using extensive genetic engineering to fit the Continuum’s purposes - victory over the Saiyan body. Second, they are indoctrinated from birth to be absolutely loyal to their Tuffle masters - victory over the Saiyan mind. Last, they are intended to fight against and defeat Saiyans - victory over the Saiyan fighting spirit.
Genetic Modification
Using Saiyan DNA acquired during their pickling experiments as a baseline, the Continuum has tweaked the genome to eliminate Saiyan traits deemed inefficient. Tails, personal pride, insatiable appetites, sadism, excessive aggressiveness, and enjoyment of battle, were removed, while leaving behind useful traits such as unrepentant ruthlessness, physical prowess, and ki generation. MELONs require no sustenance and can function autonomously without nutrition.
In addition, absolute loyalty has been genetically programmed and combined with a lifelong indoctrination process, resulting in Continuum fanatics who exist only to do the bidding of their Custodian Masters. As such, MELONs are highly efficient killing machines, employing the powers of a Saiyan albeit with many of their qualities removed for the sake of efficiency.
A MELON is incapable of the near-death power level boost (Zenkai), and can never hope to ascend to Super Saiyan, making them something of a 'Poor Man's Saiyan'. However, combined with the tactical prowess of a Custodian commander, they can become a force to be reckoned with, applying that baseline lethal efficiency and brutality with a higher, tactical purpose.
In the event of fatal injury, a genetic kill switch has also been planted into their DNA. This switch turns them into walking ki-powered black holes that will cause their body and equipment to completely implode into nothing, preventing the latter from being captured and reverse engineered.
If a MELON is killed before the kill switch can trigger, a failsafe built into his Power Armor will create a micro black hole to serve the same function. The switch can also be triggered by a Custodian commander giving a specific order to a soldier, in the extremely unlikely event that a MELON were to rebel.
Armor
Once fully matured, MELONS are permanently encased in Avenger Mk XIV Power Armor. It is plated with high-grade synthetic katchin, rendering it capable of withstanding ki blasts, as well as high-powered physical attacks. Advanced life support systems allow them to breath underwater, and even in space, albeit a limited time for the latter. Repulsor boots allow them to simulate ki-powered flight.
The suit comes equipped with a Quantum Entanglement (QUENT) communications suite, allowing instant communication across vast distances of space, similar to telepathy. Due to the nature of quantum entanglement, these messages can neither be detected nor intercepted by anyone other than the intended recipient.
Needless to say, all of these features are powered by the trooper’s ki, which takes the place of more dangerous and vulnerable energy sources, such as fusion cores.
ONL System
Perhaps the most dangerous technology possessed by the MELONs is a brain implant called the Operations Network Link. Using an advanced QUENT mechanism, the ONL System connects a MELON’s mind to the Continuum’s Operations Network, allowing all MELONs to share all of their battle experiences and knowledge with each other in real time.
This means that should one MELON fall to a powerful enemy, all the others will have that soldier’s same knowledge and experience. This will allow them to be more prepared and adapted the next time they fight this opponent. The ONL system is also set to filter out any subversive thoughts, in order to protect the Operations Network from corruption.
Weaponry
Their standard weapon is a Vindicator Mk VII Assault Rifle, which fires synth katchin-tipped high explosive armor piercing (HEAP) rounds designed to hurt a ki user.
The weapon is capable of loading several different types of ammunition, from flashbangs to Destron grenades, to enriched Thetarium rounds. The weapon is accurate at short to long range, the latter of which can be facilitated by switching to long-range tracking mode.
If ordered to by their commander, MELONs can switch out the Vindicator for an Executioner Mk IV Gauss Rifle, which fires synth katchin slugs at relativistic velocities.

These stories are full of exaggerations, misinformation, and misleading evidence, painting the Continuum’s activities as being part of either
MELON Troopers
