The call to action came quietly and directly. Wherever it was Taeko had taken up residence, a soldier would arrive in the night. Armored and with scouter to track down the Saiyan woman and with the technology it didn't take long. "Taeko. Commander Cam has called for your assistance," the curt armored soldier would say to Taeko having roused her either by knocking on a door or invading the space outright. Handing a holopad to the Saiyan. "Your pod is pre-programmed to deliver you on the fastest possible route to the Commander. When you're ready." The soldier would then gesture back the way he came and take his leave. Outside of wherever Taeko was currently lodging, an arcosian attack pod would be sitting, sleek silver door bent open to reveal the cushioned, if not cramped inside of the pod, of course it had many functions for entertainment. Music, lighting, food and drink stores, sprays that could keep a soldier clean for the long journey through space, sleeping protocols, though the pod could bring Taeko to Kabocha in a few hours time should she hop in. Reviewing the holopad that Taeko had been provided she would see a picture of Cam's face in one corner of the dossier as it was his campaign. Below was a summary of attack plans, several shield generators outside of some military emplacements that needed to be destroyed, listed for the Saiyan as a training opportunity. The task paid handsomely, enough credits for the Saiyan to keep her parties going for a long time, or fund whatever it was she used her money to enjoy. The view of space was brighter than one might expect, having to pass by bright nebula and massive expanding gas giants and clouds in space, the glimmer of blue stars masked behind the massive clouds, closing in on a planet that at a distance looked like an orange shining jewel in the sky. Cam's home world: Kabocha. It was once a blue jewel planet like earth however it had been ravaged by five hundred years of war that started after a immensely powerful Saiyan planted a tree of might seed on the world. From space, the giant green tree could be seen, however something had gone wrong, the tree while it had grown some leaves, had thinner and balder limbs, it had never reached full maturity, despite having soaked up much of the planets energy. Kabocha was spared a death sentence but the ecosystem had been crippled forever. This lead to the chaos that followed that only now, Cam was starting to stabilize as the new Emperor of the planet. The pod, if Taeko didn't reprogram it, would end the journey parked in the shadow of this immense tree at a staging ground Kabochan forces had set up to fight the Saiyan Dominion, the pod sliding open, Cam and a retinue of soldiers behind him shifted to see the Saiyan emerge, "Ah. Finally." Cam smirked, hands falling to his hips, "Was wondering if you would take the job or not. Before you get worried for your fellow people, you don't need to worry. We'll do this stealthily enough and cleanly enough that no one has to get killed. Figure you would want to the fighting experience."

Taeko had been sleeping deeply in a tree at her favorite training grounds when the strange soldier woke her up. She woke with a growl and a hand around the stranger’s throat. As soon as she realized that the man wasn’t there to attack her, she let him go and listened to what he had to say. Apparently, Cam was calling her… did the man not understand that assisting him would be a death sentence for her? Her fellow Saiyans would put a price on her head; she would be dead in a heartbeat. But, Cam had spared her life when she had foolishly challenged him to a fight all over a lousy cup of coffee. A glorious, delicious, lousy cup of coffee… she really needed some coffee to deal with this. Groaning she let her shoulder slump. She owed Cam, and he was most likely calling in the favor. “Fine, fine. I’m up; I’m up.”She hopped down from the tree and began gathering her supplies. She followed the soldier to the ship, which was much nicer than her own, and got on board. This was military grade and made to travel fast. “I got this soldier, off to your own pod, I’ll meet Commander Cam wherever he wants to meet.” She called out to the soldier who had to lead her to the ship. She didn’t even pay attention to see if he left or not. Wandering around the ship she touched everything, getting the feel of it. She reached for the pad and looked it over. “Oh kami, Cam is out to get me killed” she grumbled, noticing that the destination was a Saiyan Dominion planet… Cam’s very own Kabocha. Great… She made her way to the cockpit and sat down. Looking towards the main panel, she pushed a few buttons, initiating the launch sequence. She relaxed and watched space fly by for most of the trip. In the final leg she jumped back up and moved to the sleeping area, she needed to change. Taeko dug through her bag until she found the capsule that contained her clothing. She knew she had picked up a few, hopefully useful, things along the way. She tossed clothes this way and that way until she found an outfit she had picked up on a whim. She had originally bought it as a gift, but it might actually help her blend in a bit and hide her Saiyan heritage. The outfit was that of a human ‘ninja.’ It was black and blue with a hood, face mask, and gloves. When she wore it only her eyes would show. The top and bottom were two parts, and the top was just long enough and baggy enough that if she wrapped her tail around her waist tightly, no one would be able to see it. As an extra precaution, she doused her hair in water and tightly braided it, controlling the typical wild Saiyan mane. She could easily pass as human unless someone looked really close, or her clothes were destroyed. Satisfied that if another Saiyan spotted her, they wouldn’t automatically know she was Saiyan, or be able to identify her easily, Taeko finally relaxed a bit. As the ship began its descent onto the planet Taeko made sure that her disguise was fully adjusted, her power was fully suppressed, and her tail was tightly secured. Kami, she felt like a fool, but better an alive fool than a dead Saiyan. As she exited the ship after it landed, she spotted Cam and hissed at him. “Cam, I told you that me helping out with this was a death sentence to me. If anyone figures out who I am, they will skin my Oozaru hide and hang it on their mantle. Your soldiers also might not be very trusting of a Saiyan fighting for you. I am not only going to have to watch my back but my front as well.”She was excited for the chance to fight, but at the risk of a bounty on her head, even her Saiyan spirit was burning low. “I’ll help you out Cam, but to everyone else, I am just a human. Only you and I know that I am a Saiyan. Call me Tia if we are around any others. I owe you for not killing me for my coffee addicted stupidity, but after this, I call us even.”
She shook her head and then smirked at Cam, although it would be hard to see through the face mask. The crinkling around her eye would give it away though. “So tell me the plan Cam, what do I need to do.”Word Count: 787 (+2 SM) Taeko in Disguise as Tia

The Kabochan seem amused at Taeko's choice of garb, though he cackled at her paranoia that she should be found out a Saiyan acting on behalf of the Kabochan military, "I hire plenty of saiyans, when they can be bought," he advised in a hushed tone, "But okay Tia. We'll keep up appearances," shifting to face the retinue of soldiers that had been following him, "And so the last puzzle piece falls into place, we're ready to act." he paused, looking over to Taeko in her straight-up ninja garb. "At least, she looks ready. Don't know about the rest of you." Cam began to stride with intent, expecting everyone else to simply follow him. Crossing the staging zone, they would end up in a dry dock where it appeared much of the lost and buried ships and technologies on his planet was being excavated and reassembled for use. A few twists and turns, and they were standing before a fully refurbished squad of speeders, each equipped with an array of weapons. A blaster not unlike a sawed off shotgun holstered in the left side of each speeder while a black metallic lance sat in a cradle on the right. The Kabochan would move to his bike at the front, always willing to lead in these sorts of thrilling heroics, he gestured to the back of the bikes where a steel container sat closed, "This is an explosive charge. You hit the small red switch on your throttle and it'll deploy. We can use these to hit quick as lightning and make it out before they even know what hit them. Long as we keep our energy levels suppressed and use the technology as we can, we'll be able to destroy all the generators and make it out in time for our second squads to get the drop on each station without them even knowing the shields are down." Cam advised as he took u pa long tan scarf with a bar if dark piloting goggles. Wrapping his head so that only the goggles were on display, he slid into the seat of the first speeder. The speeders themselves weren't unlike an old earth motorcycle, though they were much lighter and had no wheels, all hover and anti-gravity jet propulsion systems that meant a speeder like this could approach the speed of the sound barrier if it had the structural integrity to make it through such an event. Each was painted with a tan desert camouflage pattern and two long arms extending forward from the steering column. Scouter HUD up on his goggles, Cam found his choice of music as he pressed a button on the speeder's steering column then kicked down the propulsion lock with his foot on the side. The force of over a hundred horses beneath him on such an immensely light frame. He twisted the throttle several times as he pulled the lance from it's cradle. "Now do be careful with these. They're thermal lances. When the head snaps off, it'll delay five seconds then detonate." He cautioned, Revving the engine twice more he looked at the squad of eighteen in all that had formed, including Taeko, "Any questions?" Some seemed to know the drill, seasoned soldiers that had flown or drove all manner of alien vehicles, they would figure it out, and whether Taeko knew what she was doing or not, this was the test. Not every battle was fought with fists and feet, some had weapons meant to kill, and speeds that were so fast and dangerous one fuck-up could result in at least a proper maiming if not death outright ot the average person. Then again, none of the soldiers assembled here were average.

Taeko watched Cam silently, he seemed to have a basic plan in place, although no mention was made of an alternate plan if they were caught. He either wasn’t prepared for the worst case scenario, or he knows his enemies well enough to know they should be caught by surprise.
She was coming into this blind and it irritated her. Other than a basic debriefing on the pad she had been provided in the ship she didn’t know anything about the facility they were attacking, didn’t know where to regroup if separated, and sure as hell didn’t know anything about the plans beyond what was just said.
In a way, it made it easier for Cam since if she were to be caught she couldn’t give any information away, but it made it lot harder for her if Cam’s plan fell apart. Most of the soldiers seemed to be seasoned enough to not have any questions, the others didn’t seem willing to voice what they had on their mind. Taeko was a bit different.
“What kind of defense or counter attack might they put up? What should we be prepared for? Energy blasts? Weapons?”
She wanted to know what she was walking into and wasn’t willing to go in completely blind. She had her own escape plan in place if things went wrong. Cam might have some crazy Saiyan deserters willing to opening defy the Dominion but Taeko wasn’t that dumb. She was playing this game for the long haul and death wasn’t part of her game plan.

"Mixture of small arms fire and energy blasts. Nothing too huge though, like I said, we play our cards right they won't have a chance to fire back," the Kabochan answered with, "Keep our formation tight, hit fast and hard, we'll pass right by the generators and be able to do the damage we need to." He pointed off one side of his speeder, "We're coming from the southeast. Head due north of the generator into the salt bog and keep your energy repressed as long as you can and as low as you can." he remarked, "We'll be able to disappear easily once we're there," he remarked, hoping to assuage any fears the Saiyan woman might have before things got underway. All the other soldiers seemed to be firing up the engines of their vehicles, fidgeting with goggles, scouters or helmets, or their armor and weapons. Another minute or two of preparation and they would be in it. When that minute passed, Cam hit the throttle once more, the pair of engines burning under him shot the vehicle forward, out of the staging point and over the desert sands. For a time, the loud hum of the vehicle beneath him and those following him would be all that could be heard; riding the sand dunes could be enjoyable, provided you kept your eyes open, debris and long since buried, fallen ships sat derelict in the planet's deserts, though those seemed to be the only real trail hazards. Taeko likely would be able to see, far off in the distance just what this generator they were attacking was meant to protect. A massive metallic looking orb that looked hundreds of yards wide as it was tall, though that was merely the base for the cannon. Aimed skyward out of the top at a ever so slightly less than ninety degree angle was the barrel of this massive ion cannon. A fleet crippler, any large ship that got within range could be hit and the pulse would completely disable any and all electrical systems. It was with this cannon, as well as two others on the planet, that that Saiyan Dominion was able to secure and hold Kabocha for as long as it had, disabling one would punch a hole in the planetary defenses, and that was what they needed. Cam drew the gun from the cradle on his right side, aiming over the front of his speeder, they were getting close now. Things wouldn't be so quiet for much longer.
