It took Will a long time, but after months of searching he has finally founded all of the Dragon Balls. He brought them all to the place where he planned to make his wish. The island where Kame House once stood, he set each of star marked orbs onto the sand as the sky darkens. A storm rages as a bright light envelops the Dragon Balls. A golden silhouette of a serpentine figure comes out as it forms into the mighty wish granting dragon of legend, Shenron.
Shenron looked at the person who has summoned him, a small cat man in a gi he is all too familiar with. He has given wishes to stranger folks, but he is glad that this one is not malicious in any way. Kai knows how much damage he done by granting Amatricina her wish.
"YOU WHO HAVE SUMMONED ME, TELL ME YOUR TWO DESIRES AND I SHALL GRANT THEM!" Shenron bellowed.
Will was not intimidated by the dragon, no he has grown too much to be able to be afraid of Shenron. He takes a step forward with a calm look of determination.
"Shenron, I ask of you these two things. The first is the restoration of Kame House the old home of my master Roshi, the second is to be able to learn the Thundershock Surprise so that I may know all of Roshi's best moves so that one day I may pass down all that I know from him to others and they too can pass down that knowledge to their students." Will asked.
The dragon squinted for a moment as if he was questioning Will's wish.
"I SEE, SO YOU WISH FOR THESE TWO THINGS SO THAT YOU COULD START A NEW TURTLE SCHOOL! A NOBLE WISH AND ONE I AM SURE YOUR LATE MASTER WOULD BE PROUD OF! I SHALL GRANT YOU THESE WISHES" Shenron said.
As Shenron's red piercing eyes glowed Will found himself having a bunch of knowledge jammed into his brain as he learns how to use the late master's last resort technique. So it involved converting one's own Ki into an electrical energy to let it run through one's body before releasing it onto an opponent. Dangerous but if one's body was trained enough to be able to handle it then it can be done. It was so simple that Will didn't think of it himself cause he was expecting something more complicated. Perhaps the simplest methods lead to the best decisions.
Then the remains of the Kame House swirl like a tornado, flotsam and debris than sunk to the bottom of the ocean all fly through the air to converge at this point. As the one destroyed Kame House is restored to it's former glory, as if it was untouched by time the house was brought back. Will found himself feeling nostalgia once more at the sight of this. While he has learned already that one must move on to him the Kame House was a symbol of the school itself since it was the home of the one who start it all, he felt it's return signaled the return of the school itself. Besides Will has spent so much time using Capsule Houses or camping out in the wilderness he hasn't found an actual home to stay at. And since this place was like a home for him back then he decided that making it his new home would be the best option.
"FAREWELL!" Shenron said.
And with a flash of bright light the gargantuan dragon disappeared and all of the Dragon Balls split off into separate directions. Will then walked to the old house, now without an owner except for well him. He opened the door and walked in, memories of the past begin to resurface of hanging out with other Turtle School members in here after training through Roshi's various rigorous exercises. Memories of wearing turtle shells, delivering bottles of milk while running from dinosaurs, and digging up rows for gardens with his own hands begin to surface.
He remembers everything now, about his father Korin, about the evil Namekians and their leader Naraka Jr. who killed him and his fellow students, and Master Roshi making a last stand against their leader who was the only one left before Will faded from consciousness and died. Since there haven't been any evil Namekians running around Earth or any tales of this Naraka Jr. Roshi probably either managed to sacrifice his life and successfully seal Naraka Jr. with the Mafuba or managed to kill him at the cost of his own life. Whatever the reason Master Roshi managed to avenge the loss of his students and Will is thankful for that, he can only wish he was stronger then to help him.
You see the Will from 400 years ago, was a lot different then the Will from today. The old Will was a pervert and a lot more lazy when it came to training and getting stronger. Roshi even says he reminded him of an old student of his named Krillin, and that he wouldn't give up on Will and assure him to continue pushing his limits and getting stronger. Now Will has broken those limits and he wished he had all of those years ago. Then Master Roshi would probably still be here now.
Like he learned though what has happened has happened and as much as he wishes he could change the past it is for the best that he focuses on the future. He knows the Turtle School way better then everyone that no scroll or book can teach anyone. And with this wisdom he can pass it on to up and coming martial artists and so they can teach it to future generations. So the number of people defending Earth and protecting the peace would increase.
Of course it takes more then just bringing an old house back and learning a new move to start a new school, one needs the right connections. After getting out his C-Phone Will makes a call.
"Hey Ches got a sec?" Will would ask.
The next day Will would be at a conference to announce the creation of his New Turtle School to make it official. Since Will saved Ches' life twice and his daughter's life he helped him set this up by pulling a few strings. Will wanted to make this announcement public so that everyone who would be interested could hear. The more ears it reaches the more students he would gain. He then stood on a stool behind the podium to reach it.
"Thank you all for coming, I am here today to announce that I am creating the New Turtle School in honor of my late master Roshi. This school would be no different in teaching or in style of use, while my training methods would be different the spirit is still there. The new more so symbolizes something else. A new way for people to grow and become stronger, a new generation of powerful defenders of Earth, and a new era for Martial Arts. That is why I am calling it the New Turtle School." Will explained.
Murmurs came across the many people attending, while most were media hounds others were martial artists including some from the New Crane School who came to here what he had to say.
"Now training to be able to control and use Ki is dangerous, time and time again it has shown to be able to be used as a weapon worse then any gun. That is why any person who wishes to train under me and is wanting to get stronger for such reasons such as revenge, glory, fame, picking up chicks, or even just so you could get away with whatever you want should forget about it. I won't teach those who would obviously misuse this power. This power is meant to be used by people so that they can defend not only themselves, but people who can't defend themselves. Master Roshi once told me that the art of peace must be mastered in addition to the art of war. Victory is gained by the art of war, victory is won through strategy, and strategy is derived from the art of peace." Will said.
Will looked down somber for a minute, saying those words himself with all of his heart makes him feel like Roshi himself was saying it.
"So to all who wish to join the New Turtle School you all need to visit me at the newly restored Kame House, the coordinates should be online so you can just look it up. Times have changed since then, these teachings may seemed old fashioned but I feel now more then ever these teachings need to be passed on. So we can usher in a bright new era for not just Earth, but for the universe as well. And remember these words: move well, learn well, play well, rest well, eat well! That is the New Turtle School way!" Will said.
It was then the audience clapped touched by Will's words as the martial artists who watched were also content by his words including the New Crane School master who stopped by. Will flew back to Kame House so he could wait for any potential students. It was just then that he felt several Ki signs following him. A few were flying albeit much slower then him from behind while some who couldn't fly were running on foot trying to keep up. It seems his words didn't go unheard.
"All right then, if you guys want to be my students your first test is to continue to keep up with me!" Will said.
As he flew off into the sunset as the New Turtle School was started, and thus the long gone teachings of Master Roshi were then retaught to this new generation. A new era of defenders of peace just like Will wanted, and what Roshi probably would have wanted as well. Perhaps the former Turtle School is looking from Other World content on the events that transpired seeing Will fulfill his mission. Of course that wouldn't mean Will wouldn't have to slack off either, can't let any of his students surpass him. He needed to be a mountain they needed to climb so that they could focus on improving and getting stronger.
And thus Will's mission was complete but not the end of his adventure. While the book closes before a new chapter begins Will's story hasn't. Is the rest of Will's life filled as much happiness as these moments, or is there more drama and suffering. Well only Will would tell you, but he can't at the moment. He is far too busy teaching his students to tell you about himself. Thank you all, for reading.
