Legume's scowl remained static as Thast continued to defend himself as well as the Ravager lifestyle, though the Saiyan's features did not show much frustration. It was only to be expected of him - Thast seemed a lot more idealistic as far as Ravagers go, and he was inducted into the Ravager arguments on justifying their actions. Even Dain and Sly, neither of which had many ideals at all, found it within themselves to believe that they are doing the right thing. " I do not speak of malice because the Ravagers seek payment for what they do. As I said, they're perfectly fine with acting like heroes if it brings them their wealth." Legume spoke, watching as Thast gathered an orb of energy in his hands in preparation to escape from the Cage of Time. He didn't expect the Earthling's blow to go anywhere in pulling him out from the subspace. " I am calling them evil because they're perfectly fine with murder, even mass murder, as long as their share is granted. I've witnessed it before my eyes, and they have to pretty damn lunatic to be able to go their daily lives murdering people and believe that they're doing anything but horror. I don't know if Dain went insane after literal centuries or torture, but "insane" is the only word I'd use to describe him, and-" Unfortunately, Legume miscalculated just how much raw energy Thast is able to draw out, and the full force Ying Yang Kamehameha slammed straight to the edge of the dimension, the power of the explosion sending ripples across its frame and destabilizing it. Damn it...He had hoped to end the battle here and teleport the two of them elsewhere, but now, now that he's been forced to withdraw the Cage of Time... " TEN SECONDS LEFT UNTIL SELF-DESTRUCTION." Followed by a countdown. The flow of time in the Cage of Time is considerably slower than outside of it - as such, while only a minute might have passed to the two warriors inside of the cage, almost five minutes, all of the time granted to them by the self-destruction module, had practically expired. Legume's left hand instinctively reached for his forehead, focusing on Tora's familiar signature not too far off from their premises, while the right turned towards Thast. " Grab my hand." the Saiyan stated nonchalantly. " I'll teleport us both out of here. Quick." Even if fate had forced the two of them to be enemies, Thast was still a hero. That was the hard part of shaping one's personality to the side of good already done, and it didn't even leave a bad taste in Legume's mouth when offering to rescue him. Defensive Phase

Thast had managed to break free from Legume's time distorting dimension, sure. Now he had another problem to address, it was that of the self-destructing battleship he was on. Things were certainly looking bad for him, on the bright side, his own ship was now some distance away. This meant his crew would not be harmed by the explosion, he took a bit of comfort in that. He needed to worry about himself now though, and he had to escape if he wanted to survive. Luckily, he would notice Legume's outstretched hand, he was a good man. Thast simply didn't understand his point of view, but he wouldn't turn down assistance from the man , especially now. "Thank you, Legume. I'm sorry we had to meet on such, bitter terms. I'll prove the Ravagers are good people, and if not, I'll try to reform them..."Thast didn't know how Legume would respond to this, but he was trying to be sincere. In his mind, Legume was just wildly uninformed about the activities of Dain and Sly. Sure, they killed people, Thast had killed before too. The point was, they only killed Bad people who did evil deeds to get bounties placed on their heads. They were acting to stop crime and dread, not commit it. At least that was what he thought. As soon as Thast would touch Legume's hand, the two martial artists vanished from the spaceship, and a few moments later, the entire vessel detonated in a powerful blaze of glory. At the very last moment, the Super Saiyan chose to focus not on Tora's energy signature, but on the many collective signatures gathered on the surface of Earth. As such, when Legume opened his eyes, he witnessed himself standing in the middle of West City, on the top of a sidewalk, a few nearby passengers lunging to the side on instinct upon seeing two people quite literally pop into existence in front of them.
"I assume you're going to be able to find your way to whatever you call home from here." the Super Saiyan stated and let go of Thast, walking away for a few steps and placing his finger on his forehead yet again, this time in search of Tora's energy signature. However, he suddenly stopped and turned over his shoulder to face towards the Earthling yet again. "Oh, and... one more thing - the next time you meet Sly, give him a message from me."
A faint snicker formed on the Saiyan's features. "Tell him that his threats are pretty baseless, knowing which one of us fled the battle after the first half-serious blow."
Having stated his case, Legume vanished just as suddenly as he had arrived. He had quite the story to tell to Tora after all this, as well as give Earthling cuisine a well needed taste.

One moment he was on a detonating battleship, the next he was transported to Wast City. He knew the place, it wouldn't be too far from his home in South City. The real question was how would his crew find him? Thast would turn to Legume, he didn't know what went one between the man and his master, but he would try to settle their differences. Maybe they could create a peace treaty or something? The Legume could be reasonable, they just need to come to an accord that would allow the Ravagers to do business while leaving civilian casualties to a minimum. Alternatively, maybe they could go after bounties that were first approved by Bastion. While these thoughts made sense to Thast, he doubted his master or Sly would agree. Legume had already gotten on their bad side, for kami knows why...
Thast would nod to the man as he said that Thast should be able to find his way home, "If that is the message you'd like me to deliver, then it shall be done. I know there is bad blood between our organizations right now, I intend to fix that. I don't expect things to change over night, but I don't want us constantly warring with Bastion. I'll be going now, enjoy the rest of your time here on earth. Oh, and tell Tora I said hi."
Thast would shoot off into the sky, heading towards his home town of South City. It had been a long day, and was time to finally get some rest.
