It was time again for their weekly training. Albeit the two warriors were often on different missions across the galaxy, they had agreed to meet up once in a while for some training and catching up. The two of them were standing in the room aboard the Atrioch. A measly 150x gravity was added to simulate harsh conditions of a true fight. The setting was the old ruins on the planet Vegeta. The old city had been almost completely overrun by vegetation again, but in some places, the higher buildings were still rising through the jungle. The two warriors had taken position on top of two crumbling sky scrapers that were standing across from each other. To spice things up Dain had choses to fight with guns this time as well. He knew it was actually Sly´s forte, but he figured it probably wouldn´t hurt if he occasionally trained his own skills as well. The Saiya-Jin was standing calmly, surrounded by his red/golden aura, his clone standing next to him. The clone was equipped with dual revolvers, whereas Dain held a shotgun and a sniper rifle in his hand. “Okay let´s do this.” He shouted across the chasm between them, just before he jumped down and into the vegetation. The moment his feet touched the ground he began to dash forward, hoping to sneak up on his friend. Meanwhile his clone had drawn the two revolvers and began providing cover fire.

The time had come for Dain and Sly to train once more. Sly normally wasn't the type for regimented training such as this. He was always down for a fight, but up until now he had acquired majority of his strength just from living his life as a ruffian bounty hunter. However, ever since taking the helm of The Ravagers with Dain, his friend was able to convince him in the need to grow in strength. Being in charge of such a powerful organization would definitely made them high value targets. Also, he was sure Genesis still had a bone or three to pick with him, so if he wanted to save his skin he knew he needed to grow immensely in power. Sly found himself on the Atrioch once more in the gravity room. It wasn't much, but the 150X gravity was a nice touch to add a little extra to the session. The most exciting part was that his friend Dain, was supposedly going to give ki infused firearms a whirl. In most circumstances, he would not be open to someone using his iconic style, but for Dain he was willing to share a tip or two in the art of firearm combat. He heard a shout from Dain and the time had came. A few rounds of energy just whizzed by his furry ears, he could feel the heat and power radiate as they singed his fur slightly. Unfortunately, some of the rounds hit their mark and collided into his chest plate sending him sliding several feet backwards. He let out a small grunt and dug his paws into the steel floor to force himself to come to a stop. "Not bad, not bad at all." His two revolvers were drawn and aim was taken at his friend. An orange aura could be seen radiating off of them and the iconic hum of unstable energy could be heard. With a release of the trigger a multitude of blasts were sent hurling towards Dain. It was time.
Ever since Legume became affiliated with the team known as Bastion, he and the rest of them were hard at work with catching wind of the two bounty hunters known as Dain Sincara and Sly. Having interacted with Dain on more closer terms than the rest, Legume considered himself to be personally responsible for making sure that the two bounty hunters are not only found, but defeated and brought to justice.
And today, the sword wielding Super Saiyan struck a jackpot. The energy signatures of both of the bounty hunters suddenly fell on the team's radar, and aboard his dinky spaceship, Legume and an ally he brought to the mission set out after the Atrioch to put an end to this horror which was shaking the galaxy once and for all. Though he had fought and beaten Dain twice so far, Legume did not enter the battle with a leisurely or overconfident mind, especially not when Sly was also going to be involved - during the entire trip, the Saiyan spent all of the free time he had to create potential strategies for the battle and prepare himself both physically and mentally for the upcoming fight.
Until finally, a small blip outside of one of the windows in the distance of the black void, the Atrioch, finally entered sight. The Saiyan pulled on an oxygen mask, making sure to leave a second one on board, and leapt right out of his spaceship. A faint energy shield surrounded him to protect him from the harsh outer space around him, and Legume's mind was ready to activate Time Skip and dodge or attack at the faintest danger.
Until finally, the Saiyan burst through one of the windows of the spaceship, immediately slamming his weapon to the floor and activating his Super Saiyan 2 transformation, complete with his hair bursting with a bright gold and sparks of bio-electricity popping to existence around his body. The shockwave from his weapon slam rolled across the spaceship, hopefully hitting both of the bounty hunters and informing them that they have nowhere left to hide.
It was show time.

Working alongside Legume was always an eye opening experience. Unlike Tora, the Saiyan was well versed in space travel and the martial artist found him a great travelling companion. Not only that, after their fight together in the Shroomy Invitational, Tora no Seishin felt a kinship between the two. He knew Legume would have his back. Part of him wished they had reached out to Genesis-- still, he felt they could deal with these two on their own. Without Amatracina to step in, he wasn't quite certain they'd be capable of much of anything. And Tora was much, much stronger than before. He had almost died against these two. They were thieves, with ill intent for the galaxy. They thought it belonged to them. It infuriated the Tiger Style martial artist. He grabbed one of the oxygen masks that Legume had left for him and took off after the Saiyan warrior. They smashed through the glass window of the spacecraft and entered, Legume transforming right off the bat. Tora didn't want to be outclassed now, did he? A grin sprawled across his face as a thick mist began to envelop the entirety of the cruiser, Tora's ambient ki chilling the immediate area as his power continued to skyrocket. Tora's skin hardened as he utilized his iron skin technique fully, hoping to prepare himself for the battle to come as he adjusted from his first experience in the vacuum of space. Meanwhile, his aura began to swirl with life around him as it grew in size. It was as if giant jade eyes were looming above Tora, glaring at the two foes that Legume had just engaged. Action: Flee Action 2: Invite them to follow Sly and Dain for a proper 2 VS 2 battle The two had barely started their dual when suddenly two familiar KI signatures appeared on the training deck. Imediately Dain let out a loud curse and he signalled his clone to hold fire as he flew back upwards through the forest so he could see the two. Of course he had recognised the KI signatures, but he was still annoyed to see who had just popped up. In a way he wanted to fight the two of them. Especially against Legume, who was an amazing warrior. However not on board his own ship and not after having wasted energy on Sly. Now it was a good thing he did not considering himself good or honorable. If he had he might have felt obliged to stay and fight. "Sorry gents, but I am not fighting the two of you on board my flagship. If you want to fight we can do it on a planet of your chosing, but not here." Dain said as he powered down and his clone vanished. "Sly, I am going to teleport us. Be warned." Dain said as he rapid moved and appeared next to his friend. "Petey, activate emergency protocol Zephyra. Draw power from the Gete star and give me a dozen continuous teleports through the prelocated safehouses." Dain barked the order before the two invaders could react. As a bounty hunter he had several plans ready since he tended to rack up enemies faster then he could kill them. "Oh and boys, I would not stay here too long, this ship will soon self destruct. Toodles!" Dain said with a grin, just before his body began to fade out.

The raccoon had closed his eyes awaiting for his inevitable transportation elsewhere. However when he opened them he realized he somehow was left behind, and he stood in front of an unknown warrior and a recognizable but clearly not friendly face. He gave a sheepish smile and an awkward wave. "Well hey yall, looks like we gonna have ourselves a little skirmish. But before we officially start can you explain why you are here?"His gaze then shifted over to the tiger like warrior and he began to put two and two together, "Ahhh I remember you, does this have to do with The Gete Star? Are we still not over that, it's kinda been awhile no?"The raccoon began to dust himself off and prepare for what was to come next, "Well, please explain what exactly your purpose is and we can have ourselves a good old fashioned brawl. However, if you guys are the good ones in this scenario, which I assume you think you are. At least lend me the courtesy to prepare properly?"He let out a cough as he began to renew the energy he had already dispensed of with his brief skirmish with Dain. He then let out a small grunt as he powered to his maximum ability. As he transformed his shape and appearance changed slightly. He knew if he wanted to make it through this he had to try and be somewhat civil off the start. He didn't need the two fighting in some revengeful state. He learned people tended to fight much harder when they felt they were battling some great evil or injustice. During his planning session, in every single one of the hypothetical scenarios on how his and Tora'a attack on Dain and Sly would go, Legume always took the fact that the two of them would be willing to fight as an axiom. The Saiyan believed that Dain would be itching to go for an another round against him and that Sly would be willing to support his comrade against two powerful martial artists. Which meant that when Dain announced his departure and faded away, not before ordering the spaceship to self-destruct, Legume was genuinely left shocked.
Thankfully, as Legume looked around, it appeared as if the ship still had a few minutes before it was going to detonate. Less thankfully, the other bounty hunter on their sights, the raccoon Sly, was not planning to escape anywhere, and began renewing his energy after the rudely interrupted spar in preparation for an another fight. The Saiyan gritted his teeth. Even if it was now one against two, the fact that Dain had left the two of them in a self-destructing ship was really forcing his hand here.
"Tora, I know that the two of us are supposed to be a team, but I'd advise you to leave," Legume spoke as he slowly reached for the handle of his greatsword Vanity, hanging off his back. "Out of the two of us, I'm the one who is able to teleport. If this ship really goes down the drain like Dain told us, I'm not sure if I could get both of us out in time."
Turning towards Dain, Legume amplified his senses, bracing for a brawl, while listening to the bounty hunter's question. Or, more accurately, request to be allowed to prepare properly. No dice. They're already been pushed to the corner by Dain's actions, can't let them grow their advantage even further. "The law does not wait for criminals to prepare, bastard."
The Saiyan suddenly swung his weapon, releasing a powerful burst of air towards Sly and open the fight.

Tora was surprised at Legume's request. And under most circumstances, he would deny it. But part of him was unsure.
Not that he could defeat Sly. Tora no Seishin had deciphered the raccoon's fighting style completely. Superior strength would not save him from his Tiger Style.
But, Tora was unsure of his newest technique. He would most certainly be pressured to unveil a relatively untested strategy. That could cause problems for both him and Legume. In a way, Dain had doomed Sly even further. Tora no Seishin was no killer.
With him off the field, lives were at stake. Tora would imprison the pair time and time again, but short of genocide there was no reason the Tiger of Earth would kill someone. Honestly, the guilt would haunt him.
Legume? Tora wasn't sure. This could be gruesome, actually. If Leg showed up wearing a new raccoon hat, Tora wouldn't be very surprised. In fact, did the little guy even realize how unfair this matchup was? Legume and Tora fought in a similar style.
Sly himself was weak to them inherently. His speed was fast, but the precision of their techniques allowed even a miss to be fatal. Dodging itself would be ineffective for most. Even before, without Amatracina involed Tora truly believed him and Genesis would've bested the dangerous duo. Now, a one on one between Sly and Legume?
Tora had no idea why Sly hadn't fled as well. Part of him wanted to stay just to watch. But, Tora had to respect Legume. And the notion that he could die. With that in mind he grinned at Legume with a one-eyed smirk, laughing and beaming with confidence.
"After we can go to Earth for some food, on me! I hope your Saiyan stomach can keep up! I'll park close by."
With that, Tora made his way to the ship, keeping it hovering just out of the proximity of the exploding spacecraft.
Tora at least wanted to sense who won (Legume) and give the Saiyan a ride home.

Thast had been far from Dain and Sly when he had been sent a long-range communication about the attack. Apparently, Dain’s personal ship was under siege by some organization named “Bastion”. The name sounded familiar, but that didn’t matter right now. The only thing he had to worry about was getting there fast enough, and that he did. Outside of Dain’s ship, another Warcrusher would appear, it was none other than Thast’s, “The Enlightenment”. While his looked nowhere near as pristine as Dain’s, it was a battleship all the same. Looking at the damaged exterior of the craft, Thast would point to one of his crewmen “CPU! Scan the area for life signs, and power levels! Also get me access to the security cameras aboard that ship!” Within a few moments, various holographic squares would appear before the crew depicting everything that had been going on. Sly and Dain were simply training when this Legume fellow had burst through a window! Perhaps worst of all, Tora was accompanying this man. What was Tora’s association with Bastion anyhow!? Thast would stroke his chin, “This is bad… Alright people, man your battle stations! The super saiyan who isn’t Dain is our target, fire all laser cannons even if you have to tear through my master’s Warcrusher!”
Brilliant bolts of green plasma would shoot from various turrets on the outside of Thast’s battleship, through the plated walls of Dain’s plate battle ship. Hopefully some of these bolts would manage to make contact with Legume. Either way, Thast would order his men to cease fire. He was going to board the ship himself. “Men, prepare my boarding pod. Time for everyone to meet my new form…” Thast would grin as a purple aura would surround his body, “Yang, after we step into that pod, we will fuse our two souls into one. If we do this, then you’ll be able to unleash the bulk of your power. Perhaps we will be able to fight off this man…”“Sir!” A crewman would shout. “The ship is currently rigged to self-destruct! It must have been a trap of Dains!” Thast would nod with great pleasure, “all the easier for us to deal with that other Saiyan. Wait a second—” Thast would rub his chin as he felt both Dain and Tora’s energy signatures leave the place. That would mean Sly was fighting alone, and Thast didn’t like those odds… “Alright people, take good care of the place, I’m boarding…”
Thast would enter a small metallic pod, it shot from his ship, and crashed into Dain’s. Moments later, the pod would explode to reveal Thast, in a new dark form. Even Tora would have trouble recognizing him. “Yo, super saiyan! You mess with one of the Ravagers, you mess with all of us. Name’s Thast. I’m going to kick your ass.”With that remark, the earthling would cup his two hands together and bring them to his right side. A grey energy would form between his hands, but suddenly change to a coal black. Thrusting his arms forward, Thast in his new form would shout “Yang Kamehameha!”BATTLE TRACKER SUMMARY

Well it appeared this unknown warrior was not going to play nice with the furry little raccoon. The warrior denied his request to allow him time to properly prepare and quickly went to the offensive. The only positive was that Sly was able to weave between the coming of air bursts that radiated of his foes' weapon. The blasts could be heard as they collided into a wall and forced the wall to bend slightly under the pressure. Sly's ears twitched and perked slightly as several alarms began to rang throughout The Atrioch. He couldn't believe Dain was going to blow up the legendary ship. He had so many memories of their adventures on it he almost felt a twinge of depression as he heard the warning blare through the PA systems. Evacuate immediately! Self Destruction Sequence Activated!Sly had hoped he would get some time of count down timer so he would know when to get out of dodge, but it seemed he would not be so fortunate. He gave a simple shrug and focused his gaze on the enemy. "So since we are about to beat the snot out of each other, can you at least tell me if you are here on Genesis' behalf? Or do you have some other vendetta against me or Dain?"As he spoke both of his revolvers shot up and aim was taken. The raccon was just about to fire off a series of blasts and then felt another energy signature. A litany of green plasma blasts would make through towards the room occupied by Sly and Legume. Sly's eyes squinted as the light show appeared, but he was pleasantly surprised when it appeared the attacks were not meant for him. His gaze then shot towards the newcomer as they made their grand entrance. It appeared the newcomer was on his side, and was a fellow Ravager. Even though the two had not been properly introduced he was thrilled to have the help. Sly gave a nod of appreciation. "Thanks buddy, heard a lot about ya from Dain. The next minute was a rollercoaster of emotions.
Thankfully, Tora followed his advice and agreed to retreat, leaving Legume to deal with Sly all on his own. Not that the Saiyan didn't want to see his ally in the fight - he couldn't wait to see how much Tora's training has paid off and how the Super Saiyan compares to him - but, simply enough, having Tora around would put too much of a weight on his shoulders. Especially when he has to deal with not only a bounty hunter strong enough to bench press planets, but also a self-destructing spaceship around them.
"I have yet to try out Earthling cuisine, that would be sweet..." Legume replied to Tora's remark as his eyes focused on the raccoon on the other side of the battlefield.
Unfortunately, perhaps dismissing Tora was not the right choice to make - because the bounty hunter apparently had allies in store. A powerful barrage of attacks from a neighbouring war cruiser suddenly slammed into the ship, forcing Legume to wince and raise his forearm as a makeshift block. Soon after, a transformed Earthling by the name of Thast leapt into the spaceship, declaring himself to be a Ravager much like Sly and promptly fired a powerful beam of energy straight at the Super Saiyan. It was slow enough for Legume to dispatch of it with a backhand, sending the technique flying to outer space, after which the Saiyan spoke:
"Get lost, Earthling, unless you want to suffer the same fate as him." Sly's barrage of blaster shots soon followed, though first preceded by the raccoon asking on whether he came here on Genesis's request or on his own accord for a some sort of vendetta against him and Dain. Legume's eyebrows furrowed in response, and the Saiyan answered with only a single word. "Yes."
Faced with the raccoon's barrage of bullets, Legume suddenly activated his Time Skip technique, and in the brief moment of frozen time, he used his greatsword like a baseball bat to smack all of the energy blasts straight back at Sly. From an outsider's perspective, it would appear as if all of the bullets suddenly struck an invisible wall and flew straight back at the raccoon.
The Super Saiyan turned towards Sly, a faint grin forming on his face, and swung his greatsword across the air yet again to send a powerful torrent in the bounty hunter's way.

Thast attack was seemingly deflected by Legume, the gap in the power soon became clear to him. More over Dain was no where to be found, perhaps he was going for back up, that made sense. That was just what they needed. Nonetheless, he would not allow Sly to fight alone. Thast was angry already, and now to find out that even more people were in on this unprovoked attack. This was maddening! "Why the hell are you here!? You have no quarrels with us! Super saiyan, What is the meaning of this? My master and Sly were peacefully training when you attacked without provocation." The earthling had no clue what had gone on in the past between Legume, the Ravagers, and the empire. In truth, he just wanted to know why Tora was there a few moments ago. Anger consumed the earthling, and he became even more determined to fight. He was fighting to protect someone after all, to protect Sly. The super saiyan seemed to write him off earlier, and Legume had revealed a form that was leagues above his own. At this point, he would just have to buy time for Sly to escape. "Very well, saiyan. If you insist on this rampage, I must incapacitate you." Thast would say this to explain that he would not kill the man. He did want answers after all, this whole situation was crazy. With a shout, another dark purple aura would surround his body as Thast flew forward to attack the super saiyan. Firstly, he would attempt a round house kick to the man's side, and then follow up with a quick jab from his right hand. BATTLE TRACKER SUMMARY

His eyes blinked slowly and widely as he witnessed his foe slap all of his energy rounds back at him. Luckily, the raccoon was able to snap back into his sense just in time to jump high in the air to allow all of the blast to whiz under him. As he gingerly landed on paws he became wide eyed once more as he witnessed his enemy closing in on him. Another gust of power was sent his way via a large blade. Yet again, Sly was able to remain unharmed by bending backwards at the waist. This allowed the attack to fly over his body and slam against a ship wall behind him. Quickly he straightened himself back out and face his opponent. As his gaze glared across the battlefield, you could hear the ships alarm system increase in volume as it blared more warnings. Exit the ship. Self destruct mode has been activated. Self destruct in t-minus 5 minutes.Well at least he was given a timer this time. Him and his newly met ally had five minutes to conquer the foe and get out of dodge in time. Normally he would take those odds, but his body was already starting to feel fatigue. Sly wasn't entirely sure how long they would be able to keep up. This warrior was seeming to give him more fits than Genesis. He shook his furry head in an effort to get the negative thinking out of his head as he jumped back to the offensive once more. Several rounds of energy were sent from his iconic revolvers once more. "Do your best..." Legume muttered under his mouth upon hearing Thast declare that he shall incapacitate the Super Saiyan for his rampage. Truth be told, he could feel that the difference in power between the two was vast and that those threats were empty, but, as much as Legume wished to call himself above the modus operandi of the average Saiyan, the battle lust in his blood hoped that Thast would actually be able to deliver on his threats. Fighting two powerful opponents would be a lot more interesting than just one.
Unfortunately, the physical combination which the Earthling followed his threats up with did not lend much hope. Both the roundhouse kick and the right hand jab were slow enough that Legume could avoid them by simply stepping back and swiping to the side. It did, however, give Sly the opening he needed to pepper the Saiyan down with blaster shots. The first of the blaster shots struck him faster than he could react - and react he did, by activating his Time Skip technique.
A crystalline bubble of frozen time surrounded him, everything else in the ship suddenly freezing in place for the fraction of a second, which Legume immediately put to use, flying straight towards Sly and sending several strikes towards the raccoon's frame. From an outsider's perspective, it would appear as if Legume suddenly vanishing, appearing in front of Sly, while the impact of several strikes manifested upon his body.
Not waiting to give the raccoon a chance to realize what had just happened to him, Legume continued on his combination, sending several slashes with his greatsword towards Sly.

Thast was quite annoyed that Legume had dodged his question about why he was attacking them. This saiyan was no man of honor. To poor salt on the would however, both of the earthling's attacks would miss the saiyan. Legume clearly outclassed him, as did Sly, but he couldn't leave the racoon Ravager here to die. He was a member of the Ravagers, and like Dain said "The Ravagers always have each other's back!" Thast would begin to power up, a black aura surrounded his currently coal body. As he did, the situation would grow dire. The saiyan's attacks would come at Sly ferociously, and Thast's hope of victor had begun to fade. There was only one thing he could do at this point, what any member of the Ravagers ought to be willing to do for each other... The earthling would bolt towards Legume with a black stream of energy behind him. When he got into close enough range, he would disappear and suddenly reappear behind Legume. Thast would try to wrap his arms around the man's body, and attempt to crush him holding him back from Sly. "Sly! Get out of here! I'll hold him off, you can't die here!" With that, Thast would attempt to use every ounce of his strength to distract Legume, long enough for his furry friend to escape at least. After that, Thast was willing to do anything to stop Legume, even if it meant the ship blowing up and both combatants dying... "Don't Just stand there Damn it! Well it was clear, the duo was not going to be able to keep up with Legume for much longer. Both of their energy was running low and it was a near impossible task to even strike the foe. For whatever reason, the two just couldn't compete today. Sly was about to make an attempt at getting the duo out alive, but it appeared Thast had plans of his own. Sly's eyes widened as he observed his fellow Ravager yell out for him to get out of the area. A moment of daze due to the surprise cause a litany of attacks to collide against the raccoons body. He quickly jumped back up to his feet and he heard the shouts from Thast again, that now was the time to bounce. Sly didn't like the idea of leaving Thast to fend for his own, but he also wasn't the type to be too proud to die a losing battle. "Alright alright... Ill get going."He pointed one of his claws towards their foe, Legume, a snarl could be heard escaping the breath of the raccoon as he spoke to the enemy, "I will be seeing you in the future. You had nothing to do with the incident of The Gete Star, yet you chose to become involved. " What?!" Thast trying to grapple him was not the problematic thing here - the Super Saiyan could have blown the annoying Earthling away with the whim of his finger if he really needed to - but his attack served as enough of a distraction for Sly to say his goodbyes and promptly teleport away. " Damn it, I wasn't finished with you!" Legume exclaimed, immediately raising his index and middle finger to his forehead, searching for Sly's energy signature, but getting his focus on the bounty hunter distracted by two things. First, the slowly detonating and self-destroying ship, and second, Thast still trying to have a bite at him and distract the Saiyan from following after Sly. Legume sent a glare towards the Earthling - he really didn't want to take on a bystander today, someone who he hasn't heard of committing crimes or evil so far, but if that's what Thast wants to do... First, he has to grant them a battlefield which wouldn't put either one of them under any sort of pressure. Legume's eyes suddenly flashed, and in a single instant, the two of them would witness themselves standing in a crystalline, unfamiliar dimension. If Thast tried to detect any energies outside, his senses would return nil, only a jarbled mess of frozen spacetime energy. If he tried to contact anyone outside any other way, the same result would follow - after all, the two of them were not even in the same dimension as the rest of the Universe anymore. It was the Cage of Time, a personal subspace which all wielders of Time-Skip were able to tap into, as it was the place where all of the time they skipped would go to. Like a garbage disposal. I should have at least a few hours stored here, unless Thast tries to break out of this dimension. Which should be more than enough to have a chat with this guy.Legume was standing a few meters away, his back faced towards Thast. " So then..." the Super Saiyan began to speak as he slowly slid his giant sword into its hilt on his back, the slam of the weapon echoing across the empty subspace. " You seem to be different from the other two. You threatened to incapacitate, rather than kill me, you're willing to go out of your way to help your allies and even sacrifice yourself for their safety despite being weaker than them... The earthling would let out a sigh of relief, Sly had managed to escape. The plan was half way complete. Now he needed a way to knockout Legume, or at least hold him off a while longer. At this point, that would be impossible, Sly and Dain had fought him previously and failed. They were much stronger than he was, and Thast wasn’t nearly done training either. He lacked The experience, skill, and power to fight off Legume, so he would silently continue to adhere to the man’s body. That was, until the environment changed around them. They were suddenly in a foreign realm, Thast would grit his teeth, he had seen a similar technique used by Red Herring back on earth. This was not going to be fun, and his energy was quickly being depleted. The earthling continued to remain on edge, until Legume sheathed his sword!? Was the man doing it to mock his relatively low strength, surprisingly no. He wanted to talk, perhaps Thast would get the motive of the super Saiyan. The once dark purple aura around Thast would subside, and his skin color would return to normal. Him and yang had decided to separate souls for a while, since the man decided it was time for a chat. “Robbers? murder? Hedonistic? Look I don’t know what your talking about. The Ravagers are just honest mercenaries. Master says we can help all, but don’t deal in politics, I guess I can live with that. Anyway, as to why I’m with them, Dain is my master. He has trained me since my power level was a mere five thousand. I’ve come quite the way in a few weeks. When I joined the Ravagers he told me I could become anything I’d like, even a hero. Seeing Tora fight in the tomb of Vegeta only reaffirmed my beliefs. I was shocked to see him here...” in truth, Thast didn’t trust Legume, but he did trust Tora. Legume turned over his shoulder as Thast spoke to him, his eyes shooting the Earthling an apologetic, but nevertheless stern look. This was the worst case scenario. Thast was a person whom Dain's apologetics had convinced - the same apologetics with which the Saiyan bounty hunter was trying to defend his murder and his criminal deeds. And thus, while the man before him was an aspiring hero just like Legume, he believed himself, and all of the Ravagers, to be in the right.
What should be his response to this? Legume saw right through Dain and his morale did not waver when faced with the bounty hunter, but what is he supposed to do with Thast?.. The Super Saiyan's eyes turned to the distance - even if the only thing before him was the walls of the Cage of Time.
Perhaps the solution is simply to be blunt and not even try to hide the truth.
"You're never going to be a hero."
Legume glanced over his shoulder, his emerald eyes turning towards Thast.
"Not if you continue to associate yourself with them. Because as much as Dain, Sly, or anyone else in that organization try to make the case that they don't do anything out malice... it doesn't mean a damn as long as they do malice. And it's malice which you will be associated with no matter where you go or what you do. The very first time I met your master, he murdered all of the passengers in a ship for a bounty. Sure, they'll bring peace to planets or help innocent people if you pay them enough, but they would never bring themselves to do it just for the sake or others, or because good needs to be done."
The Saiyan let out a faint scoff. "Besides, usually, those most in need are also those who can't pay up to interplanetary mercenaries..." He followed it up by turning towards Thast in full.
"I never got to introduce myself... My name is Legume, and I am a member of Bastion. We're an interplanetary alliance of heroes who seek to make the Galaxy a better place one step at a time - and those Ravagers you're defending, for now, they are its greatest threat."

Thast would think on what Legume said, and claimed. Perhaps he didn't like bounty hunters and mercenaries very much, there had to be more to this than Dain simply killing all the passengers of a ship. His master was brutal, but would never attack without motivation "Passengers? Who had bounties on their heads? sounds more like a crew of thugs rather then 'Passengers' as you led on. You speak of malice because the Ravagers expect payment for their deeds, correct? If that is the case, then how do full time heroes expect to afford their bread?" Legume would also mention that usually those who needed help the most couldn't afford to pay for it, this was correct. Thast had encountered, and helped many people like that in the past. Thast would nod, "Personally, most of the work I do is free. Every now and then I join a tournament to get paid. I can afford this. Many other members of the Ravagers need the pay because they have families. Taking care of one's family is a noble cause, a cause they would have a hard time doing without the pay..." Thast would crack his neck, and look at the room around him. The place reminded him of the paradise dimension, but it was weaker. "Well, I've given Sly ample time to escape. I'm leaving Legume, and you don't get to decided what does and doesn't constitute a hero..."
