In Abbayor several holograms were projecting an image of the green skinned formerly human scientist Doctor Nikolas Grey in front of a podium. It wasn't just the holograms either, several people would be watching the recording of the announcement on their social media devices. He looked much more somber and serious rather then his usual smiling face.
"I am sure many of you are confused as to how I am back and I hereby apologize for making you all think I was dead. You see I had gotten from a reliable source a warning that my lab in the Neo Gete Star would be attacked by two infamous mercenaries who have recently enacted many illegal activities. Besides calling in two powerful bodyguards to guard my body I left a clone of myself in my place while I hid in a separate secluded location that I am afraid I can't say exactly says the exact specific of, while I waited for if the heroes I hired would beat back the attackers or not. However, it seems that unexpectedly a third assailant shown up who was more powerful then I could ever imagine and it was too much for my clone, the good samaritan Genesis, and the martial artist master from Earth Tora. My clone was killed in cold blood and all contact with the Neo Gete Star was cut off from my location so I was unable to tell whether or not what I feared happened, I waited for several months to not only make sure that the Neo Gete Star was taken or that it was merely repairing itself from the damages of the battle and that it would be contacting me soon, but alas it never called back and as soon as I heard about my clone's death it took me a while to get the bravery to come out of hiding cause I was worried that those ravagers would want to finish the job. When I returned my assistant Morton, who was fortunate enough to survive, explained to me everything that happened." Dr. Grey said.
He then looked down and his fist slammed down on the podium and looked up with anger.
"I cannot let this atrocity stand! That Saiyan is playing with technology he shouldn't be messing with all so he could use it thinking it would help him rule over the Saiyans! They speak like they have good intentions but they are just parasites! Parasites that take and leech off of others with insatiable appetites that can never be satisfied! They won't stop with the Neo Gete Star, they'll just keep taking until there is nothing left to take!" Dr. Grey yelled out.
It was then that he begin to grab a handkerchief out and begins wiping the sweat from his brow as he was taking deep breaths and calming himself down.
"I apologize, I let my emotions get the best of me. Rest assured I am sure that action will be taken by the Imperial Patrol, or at the very least the returning Galactic Patrol once the United Species has been officially formed, to apprehend those responsible. Especially that female dragon like one, she was the one that we need to be wary about the most. According to Morton the computers of the Neo Gete Star read her power level to being in the millions, the only other able to reach such levels was that of Genesis using his full power against the attackers. I fear the worst if that strange woman is left to roam free to her own devices. Stay wary out there my fellow citizens of the empire." Dr. Grey said.
As the message ended the real Dr. Grey along with his assistant Morton were walking down the street and sat down at the table of a hypernet cafe. He got out his laptop along with a briefcase filled with some equipment. Which include vials and tools used to study DNA samples including a microscope along with a bottle containing several Nanomites specially designed to extract DNA samples. While his D.A.R.C.E.D.'s were originally built to do so they were too big and clunky to be used in such a public area so it was best to be discreet and not to cause any panic. As they let loose and flew towards their destination as programmed Dr. Grey looked at the time of his laptop's clock and looked around as if waiting for someone.
He isn't here yet, or perhaps he decided not to come. What a shame I was hoping to speak with him more again since we both share similar interests. Plus I wanted to tell him about what I found out about on Planet Liberty and Krek. I suppose I can just focus on my work here then instead of waiting on someone who probably has no interest in me in the first place." Dr. Grey thought to himself.
He then began focusing on several windows open on his laptop which show that status of his Nanomites as they fly towards their destination, the area where the Galactic Peace Accords was held at.

Oh how wonderful it was to run late.
Not to say it was his fault, after all. It was simply the fault of afternoon traffic, and the pains it took to come back here in the first place. Since his departure from the Galactic Empire, the Android Scientist had taken refuge on the planet of Hollow, living in company of the lovely Queen Kuueru, who still served as a Captain in the Galactic Empire's military. Kaijin had decided to lay low from the public eye for awhile, and dedicate his focus back to his work, and developing his various projects away from the prying eyes of those around him. Finding the people to work on expansive underground laboratories and intricate tunnel systems and escape routes wasn't exactly an easy thing to do. But alas, he did it, as much time as it took up.
He didn't necessarily expect to be back so soon.
It wasn't that he didn't like Abbayor. In fact, he loved the planet for its' expansive city structure and the symbolism that it held for the Empire. It was a prosperous planet, and one that reflected the strength of the Empire. Despite the man himself no longer working for the government, Kaijin did not feel any ill will against the Galactic Empire. His trangressions lied more in the fact of why he was summoned here. Doctor Nikolas Grey, the Imperial Scientist he had worked with in the rather vital mission to Planet Liberty, had specifically called for his attention in a rather nice cafe in the upper districts, one that Kaijin himself used to frequent. It wasn't that the Android did not like the good doctor, it was simply that he was indifferent. Grey had proved himself worthy of attention in the latter parts of the Black Star operation, although his lack of faith in Kaijin when the Android was nearly caught by Sasha Qui lowered Vex's view a bit, along with the slightly annoying popcorn incident. However, the silver haired scientist had decided that such trivial infractions were better left alone, and resolved to give Grey a second chance, more or less. After all, the Black Ops should have known better than to task two scientists, and a reckless mercenary with the sensitive job of dismantling a terrorist cell. Kuueru's title was the only one that made relative sense in combination with the task at hand.
But, of course, before that second chance could have been given, Grey was killed. News of the Imperial's death reached Hollow quicker than one would realize, with the announcement flashing across Kaijin's datapad one morning as he was checking his inventory. The news report wasn't exactly detailed, given it failed to identify exactly who killed the scientist, which meant that the killer most definitely got away. As much as it angered Vex to see such a pointless loss in life of a non-combatant, he had all but forgotten about the incident until recently, when the message of a meeting came through from the man himself, followed by the press conference release.
Dr. Grey managed to weasel his way out of an assassination attempt. A smart plan too, he had to admit, placing a body double to be taken out instead, and then lying low as to not raise suspicion, until it was safe to return, and surround yourself with the protection of the government to prevent such from happening again. Plus, with first hand knowledge of your would-be assassins, it shouldn't be long until these mercenaries were listed as galactic criminals for trying to kill an Imperial official.
One did not always have to be physically stronger, in order to win. But, it did make for a nice boon sometimes. But alas, that was besides the point.
Parking his speeder besides the cafe, the good doctor leapt out of the vehicle, his hand running across the well painted surface before he walked away. Pulling open the door to the cafe, the man wandered inside, his intense red gaze scanning the entirety of the room before his attention fell on the one and only green skinned man himself.
"The news reports claimed you to be dead until recently. Yet, my scanner show appropriate life signs from you. How paradoxical." Kaijin greeted as he sat across from the man. It was a poor joke, one made when one lacked any other interesting form to greet another individual.
"I saw your speech over the Hypernet. You seem to take this attack on your life quite personally. That is to be expected, of course, just as I expect you to not give the full details of the attack in a press conference broadcasting across the entire galaxy." The man continued, his pale pointer finger tracing the outlines of the menu placed down in front of him, before his finger finally came to a rest on the list of drinks under the "Beverages" heading. His hand then moved downwards as he tapped off each, individual drink, finally coming to a rest at what he wanted. Hot Chocolate.
"Excellent..." He mumbled, before his gaze returned to Grey," Apologies. But before we get into the specifics of why you called me here, for I'm sure there is more of a reason than just wanting to see how my day was going, how about we address the elephant in the room. Who attacked you, and how exactly did they find out about something that I didn't even know was in your possession?"

Right when Dr. Grey thought he would never shown up he saw Kaijin Vex coming around the corner.
"Ah Doctor Kaijin Vex, it is a pleasure to meet you again. Please sit down." Doctor Grey said.
Before Kaijin wanted to know why he was called here he wanted to know who exactly attacked him. He couldn't say their names in public especially cause it more so something for the Patrol and Ultramarines to worry about then the public. They didn't anyone endangering themselves by trying to report them or are foolhardy enough to try to arrest them themselves hoping for some grand reward. And unfortunately there quite a lot of people like that in this universe. Best to keep this under wraps but it was just him and Kaijin in a cafe where everyone else is too busy with their own conversations and worrying about the recent news.
"I'm afraid our old friend Dain Sincara was the one who attacked us. When he was hired for the last mission I had made the mistake of notifying everyone about my new lab at the Neo Gete Star, I guess you did not hear it cause you were focused on escaping. If I had known Dain would be that insane then I wouldn't have said anything but I was tired and stressed out playing the support for the mission I am a scientist not a soldier! However, Dain Sincara made the mistake of not taking out the comm device I gave him" Dr. Grey winked and then pointed to his head."so I was able to hear his whole plan ahead of time that he made with his partner a raccoon man from Earth named Sly." Dr. Grey said.
Kaijin, don't think I forgot about your psychic powers. Hopefully you took my hint and are hearing this message. Every time I tell a discrepancy I will be thinking messages like this to you. Yes Dain did leave the Nanomites in his head but I did so so I could collect combat data from spying on fights he would have during his mercenary jobs. It was due to this decision to leave them in that I was able to learn about Dain's plan to take the Neo Gete Star. I find any type of data valuable especially combat data of powerful individuals cause they help me figure out how to create something as powerful. Give me a signal saying you got the message. Dr. Grey thought to Kaijin.
In fact choosing a public place is also why he wanted to share this secrets to Kaijin in this way. He didn't want to take any chances of their thoughts being heard. Even if someone was there that was a skilled enough psychic to only be reading Dr. Grey's thoughts anyone that would be spying on them would more think that they are just having a casual conversation and would probably more focus on the conversation to see if they share anything rather then their thoughts. Plus they wouldn't know that Kaijin has Psychic Powers due to being an Android so they wouldn't be able to sense a psychic presence if such a thing existed. And they would probably think twice then to think a scientist would be dumb enough to say anything private to someone in public so any hypothetical spy wouldn't bother.
After Dr. Grey is given a signal by Kaijin he then continues his story.
"Unfortunately I doubt Kuu would be willing to help me and you quit at the time they would have arrived to attack my new lab at the Neo Gete Star. So I needed to find someone to help me and I found two people from watching a tournament called the Shroomy Invitational where I find two powerful individuals named Genesis and Tora. I contacted them and asked them for help to defend my lab from the would be attackers. And it would've worked too if it weren't for the fact that anything that can go wrong will go wrong. I had my assistant Morton on standby in case things went south so they could pack my equipment and research in an emergency bunker that would be able to safe even if the main control chip was taken, and from what Morton told me a third attacker shown up that was a strange horned female that turned into a giant draconic beast that seemed to have known Dain and Sly." Dr. Grey said.
As he looked at the status of his DNA Extraction Nanomites he noticed it would take them a few minutes to get to their destination. Since Kaijin was getting something he might as well. He looked at the menu and saw a latte on the menu along with options for whip cream, cinnamon, caramel shavings, and mini chocolate chip toppings. As well as a pasty based off of the late Emperor Polaris titled the Blueberry Emperor, how charming. He needs the glucose and the caffeine too cause he would be working late so he decides to place an order for these as well.

Post by Doctor Kaijin Vex on Apr 14, 2019 16:34:00 GMT -5
How interesting this was. When Kaijin got the news of the assassination, his first thought went to the Saiyans. Unlike many people in the galaxy, Kaijin was not so foolish to believe in the stereotypes people usually attributed to the race, which more or less equated to various levels of brute behavior, lack of intelligence or finesse, and just straight up simplicity. The Android knew better, of course. Saiyans were as much of a varied race personality wise as any other. She had met the dumb, simple Saiyans, and she met Saiyans who proved just as philosophically capable as he. As such, he believed the Saiyan Army perfectly capable of pushing an assassination attempt on a capable Imperial, especially a scientist so well known as Nikolas Grey. But why a researcher instead of a military officer, you ask? The reason was simple. Military Officers were imperative to the direct war effort, but who made the weapons? Who developed the tech that the Empire used? The researchers, the scientists. Commercial based, military based, it didn't matter. The sciences were the heart of progression. Halt the progression, and you can attack a crippled Empire. It would be a move he would make. But at the same time, he wouldn't be this slow about it. The Empire employed hundreds, if not thousands of scientists, and no government was necessarily short of them. After all, if you weren't technologically advanced in today's market as a growing imperial force, what were you? It was the reason Kaijin was still making money, after all. People liked to be up to date with the new and fancy gadgets. Kill the progression, and you kill the economy, and you kill the Empire. You just had to do it swiftly. Then, he thought back to Black Star, only to dismiss it. Black Star was too disorganized to begin with before the strike team even attacked. Even as unprofessional as Kaijin and friends had been in their tackling of the terrorist threat, Black Star was only held together by intricately woven threads created by mastermind Almus Alvazar. Killing Almus cut those threads, leaving only loose strands floating in the wind. Capturing Sasha Qui and killing Tarno the Warrior Namekian snipped and burned those threads as well, leaving the masses lost and crashing amongst each other. For them to recover so quickly, and on top of that, to organize a strike against a target that didn't hold a large symbolic significance, would be too odd. But Dain Sincara made sense. First things first, the Saiyan Bounty Hunter was most likely a prime reason the vast majority of people viewed Saiyans as falling under the all reaching stereotype of being meatheads. For that was more or less what the Saiyan was. A powerful meathead, yes, but a meathead nonetheless. Which made his profession more or less perfect for him. Accept a job for what he deemed to be a good price, the likes of which most definitely did not require a great degree of tact or finesse to carry out, and go ahead and kill. That's essentially what Dain did anyway during the majority of Black Star. Instead of use tact to try and outsmart his adversaries, he simply killed. But, to believe Dain Sincara would strike the hand that fed him for so long? That was bold. To attempt to kill Doctor Grey, and steal a vessel that rightfully began to the Empire by extension. Dain Sincara had done quite a great degree of jobs for the Empire, and being listed as a potential wanted criminal by a major faction, especially with recent political affiliation with the United Systems was not the wisest of career moves. Perhaps more fitting for a powerful criminal empire. But a Bounty Hunter? Dain was powerful. But most certainly not unbeatable. Perhaps one day he'd test his mettle against the Super Saiyan himself. It would certainly be fascinating to see whether he could beat the man. Maybe even bring the man back to the Empire. Even though Kaijin cut his ties with the Galactic Empire, the thought of seeing what the Neo Gete Star could do for himself, while also throwing a Super Saiyan into the waiting arms of Imperial Custody brought a faint smile to his lips. Kaijin gave the man a small nod to indicate that he was listening, and that he received the telepathic message that Grey transmitted to him. Despite his appearance and sometimes odd behavior, the Android had to give the man his props. To be able to successfully spy on people so without them noticing was an achievement all on its' own. And then, the fact that he recruited the likes of Tora no Seishin to his side was rather impressive in its' own right. While he didn't know who Genesis is, he figured if he was worthy of Grey's eye...and worthy of fighting alongside the Tiger Master, then he might be worth Kai's attention. However, another name stood out to him, besides the Tiger Martial Artist. Sly. A name he hadn't heard in quite awhile. He had met the raccoon fighter long ago, when Kaijin was a new release upon the world, and when the man was much stronger than he. He knew not what became of the raccoon after that one fight, but if the raccoon was still alive, the Android figured he was even stronger than he was when they last met. A fascinated prospect, to how such a simple, and otherwise pathetic, creature could grow so exponentially. "How fascinating. You recruited Tora no Seishin, and this...Genesis...and fought Dain Sincara and his ally, Sly...and still could not defeat them. Either Dain Sincara and Sly are stronger than I thought...or your ability to work together as a team was horrendous. So...they attacked you on your own vessel, especially something as important as the Neo Gete Star, and you could not adequately use the resources at your disposal to stop them." Kaijin began to chuckle slowly. "Nikolas Grey...perhaps you lost this battle...because you didn't understand enough about the Neo Gete Star to capitalize upon its' resources...or....you simply weren't strong enough to possess it in the first place?" It seems that Kaijin seems to doubt Grey's capabilities of using the Neo Gete Star and saying it was lack of strength that cost him his loss.
"I assure you Kaijin strength is not everything, I find intelligence to be far more important then actual power. Admittedly my Mega Mars Mecha wasn't enough for my clone to stop them with Genesis and Tora, apparently it helped them last quite a bit during the battle. The reason for the loss was the unforeseen about of that devil like woman who transformed into that draconic creature. From what Morton told me the computers were recording a power level of over 13 million and from watching the fight while he was moving the essential items into the bunker in case the plan went wrong he saw that apparently the woman was well acquainted with Dain and Sly and seemed to order them around as if she was in charge of them. From what I guess she was probably one of those demons like Ultramarine Kusubu from this Demon Realm that I heard of it." Dr. Grey explained.
Of course it was he who experienced all of this and perished and not a clone, but Kaijin didn't need to know this. At least by telling him through his mouth, he feels he can trust Kaijin well enough to tell him his secret through his thoughts if he is smart enough to figure out there is more to the story. Dr. Grey then tells a waiter about his order as he continues to look at the status of his nanomites. Grey recalled how Kaijin seemed to know Tora personally and yet didn't know about Genesis. Perhaps he should be able to shed some light on the subject of this individual. "Genesis is indeed an interesting individual, he's a powerful half Saiyan that seems to want nothing more then to do good because apparently he helped clean up some of the debris that was left behind from the horrors of the Galactic Peace Accords. He seemed to not have a Super Saiyan form and had another way of getting stronger I have yet to figure out. His power level even managed to reach over seven million from using all of his power, an impressive feat. However, he claims to have come from a planet called Indigo Prime which doesn't seem to exist according to the Hypernet. I wonder what he has been currently up to." Dr. Grey mused.
Meanwhile the swarm of Nanomites arrived at their destination. Detecting multiple sources of dried blood that are exhibiting large amounts of residual Ki emanating from them. A sign of the blood belonging to powerful individuals. One lands on what appears to be the remains of what once the table that the Galactic Peace Accords meeting was held at before Lord Snow attacked. A scrap of cloth from the late Queen Radia sits on a broken chair nearby.
Dr. Grey is notified about the find on his laptop as he looks at it and sees that it appears to be Saiyan DNA. Due to studying the Saiyan genes from the many Saiyans that died on the Battle of Mitra he knows well enough about Saiyan genetics to be able to tell just from an analysis what species it belongs to. And he knows all too well of which Saiyan this would belong to. Project Helix would be coming along sooner then anticipated now that he actually managed to safely get this DNA sample of such a powerful and important individual.
"Sorry was just checking out the progress on some research I am working on. It's for a project I dub Project Helix. Although that's not why I called you here. I am here to tell you about something else actually, but you're free to ask about Project Helix later. Anyway let me get what I needed to give you." Dr. Grey said before reaching into his pockets and getting out a data chip and handing to Kaijin.
"The Datachip I borrowed from you, I managed to salvage it from the Neo Gete Star before it was taken. I wanted to return it to you." Dr. Grey said with a devilish grin.
"Kaijin, the contents of this datachip are vital. Before the Planet Liberty mission I intercepted a message from a group called the Chronos Organization that asked for assistance to receive a Data Pad from a group of rogue Saiyans. I decided to handle this mission myself using a stealth android of my design that managed to perfectly infiltrate the facility without being detected or having to get into combat and get the Datapad. I not only managed to find it I saw it's contents and found out that Chronos have a burning hatred against the Saiyan race and have aspirations for taking over the universe. The Datapad held blueprints for technology the likes of which I never seen with the name Continuum on each blueprint, and I managed to hack it and downloaded all of the data and shared this info with the Galactic Empire." Dr. Grey thought to Kaijin before making a pause for Kaijin to process this information before continuing.
"That is why I was assigned to the Planet Liberty mission to help deal with Black Star to both make up for doing something behind the empire's back even if I brought back something to aide them and to use my capabilities to support the mission. And during that mission I found the source of the energy suppression in a hidden underground lab that was filled with the same emblem I saw on the Data Pad. This Chronos Organization seems to be very technologically advanced to make something as impressive as that Energy Suppression device and that worries me considering what they want. While I have my own projects the other imperial scientists, including those snobs in Dark Mesa, were given the blueprints data to try to reverse engineer those devices. So far no success was gained, I know how intellectual you are on technology so I wanted to give you a copy of that data so you would be able to perhaps figure out how to make these devices and what they do so we can be able to counter the Chronos Organization whenever they make their move and advance the Galactic Empire even further then it already is. Dr. Grey relayed through his thoughts.
