The Emperor of the Galaxy
After a long time planning out the new direction of the structure, the Kabochan Academy has finally been reestablished. No longer as a Galactic Patrol training grounds, however, once led by Gadon the Protector and training cadets for the organization - instead, the headquarters of the facility have been refurbished to host an Imperial Cadet Academy. Prospective Ultramarines and Imperial Patrol officers alike may now receive the highest quality education available in the Empire to turn into the core of a new, reformed, and potentially unstoppable Imperial Army.
Though the Academy claimed to follow the traditions of the institution which preceded it, it did not hold any of the same staff members or teachers, making such a claim tenuous at best. Still, a few things remained. Imperial Regent Eis did her best to make sure that the education program for Imperial Cadets is not only free of baseless propaganda, but also included a course on constitutional politics and the framework of democracy, in hopes that this may be one of the pillars for reforming the Galactic Empire into something more... tolerable.
What was Absolut's role in all of this? Well, any grand opening needs the head of state or someone equally important to show up, cut the ribbon, say a few words to the public about the importance of it all, and generally just assure the people that he had a hand in all of this. When he not only did not, but also did everything with generally little emotion.
Not that he was bored or anything - getting bored was a concept his life has long since forgot - but he simply felt out of the element during the whole ordeal. While cutting down the ribbon in front of the front door with the Sword of Greenskull. While saying a few sentences to the public about the need for higher learning and the importance of the Kabochan Academy. It felt almost as if everyone was in on some deep and convoluted joke which he was the target of, and still couldn't fully realize.
And now, the young Frost Demon, dressed in royal garb and occassionally waving to the public off the top of his limousine much like he was ordered, was slowly making his way through the streets of Kabocha.

Well, this bites. For a day now, Etohn's been stranded on the streets of Kabocha, getting by with just the supplies he brought along on his ship. This whole ordeal wouldn't be so bad if he had any knowledge over how to fix a ship's engines, but he had no such luck. Yesterday, he had landed down on Kabocha for some repairs since the engine of his ship was acting up and the planet was the closest to him. After hiring one of the cheaper mechanics he found in a nearby city, whom still costed him a a downright baffling price, he didn't think much of how long they were taking to fix it, and it was only hours later when he decided to check in on the man to find that they weren't even there. It even looked like various pieces of his ship's inner workings were strewn about and mangled. To top it all off, the words 'Dominion Scum' was gouged into the hull of his ship. It was only after being swindled that Etohn recalled that the Dominion had just recently been at war with the Kabochans over possession of the planet, and with the Half-Saiyan's escapades granting him some notoriety, it probably wasn't that out there to think that some vengeful people would know who he is. So, after calling an old sponsor of his from Space Vegas, he had about a day or two before they could come by and repair his ship. It sucked, but while Etohn could simply use Instant Transmission to try and leave on his own, that would mean leaving behind his ship, something he'd rather not abandon, given how much he spent to buy the thing in the first place. Left to his own devices, he'd decided to try wandering the city to pass his time. He probably wasn't going to try and buy anything, for fear of somebody else recognizing him to scam him, so he just wandered the streets, getting lost in the crowd as they move along their way. Eventually, he ended up in what looked to be a festival or celebration of some kind, huge groups of people lining the streets as some vehicle passes by. He wanted to know what all the hubub was about, so he gingerly begins pushing his way through the crowd, eventually making his way to the front of a crowd to see a limo cruising down the street. And what a surprise it was, to recognize the person waving to everyone being the young Emperor, Absolut. Words: 426 Total: 426 Tags: Emperor Absolut

The Emperor of the Galaxy
As much fanfare and cheering was taking place in the parade, it was boring as hell. Absolut knew exactly that, just begging for the ceremony to end, and he was sure that everyone else gathered on both sides of the road knew so too. He was sure that everything he had to go through had a very great and important reason... he just couldn't see it. He couldn't see why he could not have just arrived there, cut the ribbon, clapped for a few seconds and headed back home.
He wanted to train, he wanted to grow stronger, so he could, one day, do this Universe a favor. Hell, he wanted to just head out there and do something nice for others, not even train for it! Why does he have to be shackled here, waving to people, despite that meaning completely nothing in the long term?.. Why do all these people have to stand here and watch his limousin pass by when they could be doing something better and productive, too?..
Absolut's eyes glazed over the crowds watching his car slowly pass by. And then they stopped.
Because the sight they suddenly caught instantly pierced through him like a spear.
"S-Stop the car!.." he muttered, not loud enough to be heard by the public, but received no response from the driver. They must have gotten as bored of the whole ordeal as he was and thus put on earpods. That person...
Absolut took one final, faint look towards the crowd as his limousin took a sharp turn westward. That was the same Saiyan as the one from his dream a few weeks ago...

The overwhelming sounds of the crowd cheering for Absolut drown out all individual sounds, leaving Etohn in just a wave of meaningless sound. Whatever the little Emperor was doing here, it was obviously a pretty big deal, what with all of the people here. Probably something political or whatever. He had no mind for understanding that stuff, but it seemed the most likely reason why. With that in mind, it was probably for the best for Etohn to leave. He had no stake in whatever it was they were doing, and he didn't want to get called a terrorist for appearing alone at a festival practically right after a bloody war. As he was turning to try and leave the area, he noticed Absolut looking directly at him. The look on their face made it clear they weren't just vacantly glancing over the crowd. Without even realizing it, he returned his gaze to the Frost Demon, a worried expression on his face. And why wouldn't he be worrying? The kid must recognize him from that time he entered their dreams to talk with them, somehow, which is probably not good for him. People usually don't remember their dreams, so Etohn thought that it was an innocent enough encounter and would just give it a while before trying again to make it so it isn't a pattern, but now that idea probably needed to be scrapped. Tearing his gaze from theirs, he begins shoving his way through the crowd, trying to get away from the area. Words: 255 Total: 681 Tags: Emperor Absolut

The Emperor of the Galaxy Absolut's limousin finally freed itself from the streets of Kanassa, speeding towards the spaceport in the distance - however, the one thing on Absolut's mind was the Saiyan he had just seen among those crowds as his car passed. It wasn't a dream or a hallucination sparked by his exhausted mind, no, there was an energy signature attached to that man, it wouldn't lie... And he needed to see what that was about. Because this meant that the Saiyan was not a figment of his own imagination like he had originally presumed. And he needed to get out of this car. The driver was still as clueless as always, the airpods in his ears blocking out any and all sounds, but he's not going to escape and check the city in time to return to the limousin before it reaches the spaceport... and if the Ultramarines guarding the port see that their Emperor is gone, he'll have to deal with a looot of problems. Thinking this over for a few seconds, Absolut opted to press a button on the panel next to his seat, 1-CE's voice immediately speaking to him: " Good afternoon, Your Majesty. I take it that the academic visit went without a hitch?" " Yeah... 1-CE, I want to to do one thing for me. Can you... change your appearance to mine?" " Planning to slip out somewhere, Your Majesty? I cannot say that I approve..." " It's-it's only for a few minutes! I just need to make sure that nobody panics while I'm gone, I need to... go after a person." Though sceptical, 1-CE followed her master's orders, a hologram of the young Frost Demon forming next to him and giving Absolut a faint wave, before speaking: " If you are searching for a criminal, Your Majesty, then may I offer my help? Just tell me what the person looks like and I'll have all of Kanassa's security cameras point towards him in an instant." Absolut opened the hatch in the ceiling of the limousin, wind immediately rushing inside. This was going to be far too personal to just involve 1-CE. " ...Thank you, but I'm good." Immediately after, Absolut leapt out, flying into the sky and pressing onto a button on his wristband. Instantly, swarms of nanobots bursted out of the device, forming a skintight metallic suit over the young Frost Demon's body. The Cosmic Suit, a costume built for him to use in his Colonel Frost heroic alias. Already, the Colonel had appeared on the galactic stage in the Scarlet Summer Games, and this was, in a way, his first true mission as a hero. Colonel Frost flew across the skies and glared to the cityscape below, his mind trying to remember the energy signature he had picked up on the mysterious Saiyan as the two of them locked eyes. If his senses served correctly... the man was currently slowly pushing through the streets, away from the congregations of people which had lingered on around Absolut's limousin's former path. Let's go.Frost dropped down from the skies, landing on one knee in front of the mysterious Saiyan and swiftly standing up. There was a million things to ask and a million things to push out, but for now, Absolut needed to know one thing. " Who are you?" the armored Frost Demon spoke, his voice altered by the Cosmic Suit's voice distortion hardware. (572 words, total 1246)

Continuing to rudely barge his way past the Kanassans, the majority of them to be quite vocal about how angered they are by his shoving, Etohn eventually manages to get away from the majority of the people, barring the occasional straggler or late arrival to the parade. Continuing forward further, he tries to think more carefully about what he had just done. This hugely important political figure, a literal Emperor, just recognized him from when he had forced his way into their dream. A person in the same position as Polaris, the guy that was hellbent on universal domination, and was only stopped by being in the wrong place at the wrong time. This same Emperor is also a young child who's a tad mentally unstable based upon what he had seen in said dream. The situation probably wasn't shaping up to turn out well for ol' Etohn. He didn't have an easy way to get off of the planet, either, considering how he's degraded so much with using his Instant Transmission, and the state his ship was in after that con artist got him. Was he going to need and go into hiding until he got picked up tomorrow? Could he, even? There were probably cameras all over the place for the shops and stuff. Could he hold his breath long enough to fly to another planet? Could he even survive that if he could? What if assassins had already been sent after him? Would they even bother with assassins, or would he go straight for calling in the military? Sitting alone in an alley to ponder uselessly on what he should do, Etohn nearly jumps out of his skin when something would suddenly land next to him. Leaping up to his feet, he'd jump back a dozen feet before taking a look at what it was. Covered in a metallic armor, it was still clear that this was a Frost Demon, and likely a young one at that. Not to mention how their facial markings and that weird head gem thing looked strikingly similar to Absolut's, as well as those weird flap things on their sides...Was this a disguise that they used? "...Uhh..." Etohn says, slowly walking back towards the person, a look of confusion replacing his shock. "Name's Etohn Verstoss. What d'you want?" The person's voice didn't sound like Absolut's, but it would be a pretty big coincidence for somebody that looks this similar to just be a lackey of their's, so this was probably just some sort of special suit, or perhaps a transformation. Their race was supposed to be able to have a wide variety of transformations or something like that, so this was potentially just one of those, too. Words: 456 Total: 1137 Tags: Emperor Absolut

The Emperor of the Galaxy
Thankfully, Absolut's sudden appearance in his Colonel Frost alias did not startle Etohn to the point where he attacked the young Frost Demon - though perhaps this was because he seemed to be in an unfamiliar and dangerous environment in general. At least, his expression seemed to hint towards that.
And yeah, they introduced themselves as Etohn. Etohn Verstoss. Which, although a reasonable answer to "Colonel Frost"'s question, also told Absolut nothing. Why did this person he never met before appear in his dream and start questioning him? What connection do they have? Or has he met this person before and just didn't remember. Which led Absolut to a yet another dilemma... how does he squeeze more information out of Etohn? Colonel Frost would not reasonably know anything about what happened, nor would any of his requests for further information be credible.
Which meant that there was only one way to approach this. The Frost Demon sent a thought command to the Cosmic Suit, the nanobots composing his face mask spreading apart and revealing Absolut's face behind them. Let's just hope that nobody bothers to pay attention to this conversation in this no-name alley...
"My name is Absolut, and I... um, I am the Emperor of the First Galactic Empire." A title which the young Frost Demon still regretted to ever receive. He knew that he could never get used to this position and all the expectations and duties which it entailed... However, in this conversation, it carried an extra veil of legitimacy which he needed. "Some time ago... a person exactly like you appeared in my dreams. You... you fought against Felix before I stopped you both, then we entered a conversation, then..."
So... so what's the point? What's he trying to get from this? Absolut stopped for a few seconds, before speaking again:
"Have I... have I met you before?"

Well damn, looks like Absolut was really just in a costume. With the face area of it pulling back to reveal the regular visage of the boy, who quickly introduces himself and talks about why he went after Etohn. As expected, it was because of that dream of theirs, which he decided to try and explain to the Half-Saiyan. From how it sounded, they remembered it in clear detail, just like he feared, but they followed it up with a question of whether they've met before. Well, it looks like he doesn't realize why I was there...So he must be thinking of a logical way I would appear, and us meeting before could be a reason why. This is a perfect chance to just lie and get out scot-free for later...But I can't just keep pushing it off. It's unfair to the kid..."Alright, well, uhh...Thing is, you haven't met me before. I mean, you have...but it was in that dream." Absolut deserved to know what Etohn did, and Etohn wanted to try and be a help for the boy, so honesty was his best way of working towards that. "Yeah, the reason you saw me in your dream was because I actually entered it. If ya didn't know, your father and I...well, we had our issues with each other." As he speaks, he rolls up his right sleeve, revealing that, while the arm itself looks fairly realistic, it is just a prosthetic attached to a nub. "It's because of that that I tried getting to you in a discreet way to see if you'd end up like your pops, which you thankfully don't seem to. No, instead...you just seem like a kid that needs friends."Words: 292 Total: 1429 Tags: Emperor Absolut

The Emperor of the Galaxy
So he and Etohn did not somehow know each other from before. Of course they did not, Absolut wasn't that bad at recognizing faces he's already seen before... No, the truth was in fact far more bizarre. Somehow, somehow, Etohn had forcefully entered Absolut's dream in order to get to know him personally. Which, honestly, did explain quite a few things. Why his dream suddenly shifted the way it did, why the Saiyan was so interested in having a talk, and why the dream broke apart so suddenly. Not that Absolut really knew how infiltrating dreams works, or even whether Etohn really meant what the young Frost Demon presumed he meant.
"I see..."
So, this is what he's dealing with. Absolut's eyes shifted to the ground, his mind going through a flurry of thoughts. Not only was the person met in his dream real and actually infiltrated his thoughts, but they did so to see whether Absolut will be anything like his father.
How's he even supposed to respond to this? What is he supposed to say? Should he... scold Etohn for infiltrating his mind without his consent or knowledge, or?.. Or what?
Absolut's eyes suddenly shifted towards Etohn directly. "Who are you?" It was an exact repeat of the question "Colonel Frost" introduced himself with, but Absolut could only hope that the Saiyan would understand what he meant. Merely saying "Etohn Verstoss" told nothing to him.

Well Absolut seemed to be as confused as one would expect from that revelation. It's not like being able to enter the dreams of other people is a common thing, and the fact that that is where the two first met each other was probably only more unnerving. The fact that they could only really ask who he was again just seemed like the natural progression to follow up with. "Okay, so...Already told you my name, but I guess I can talk about why I'm like I am." Scratching his head, Etohn thinks of where would be a proper starting point for this while also not getting too wordy. It's not like the kid needed his whole life story or anything like that. "Well, guess we can start with how I met Polaris. Seems like a good place to start. So, while I was searching for a job a while back, I met your dad while he was still just a regular Patrolman in the Galactic Patrol. Probably was weaker than you are right now. So, I was considering joining the Patrol, but this guy also seemed pretty strong, so I decided to have a little match. Ended up winning, and that was sorta it for then." To think that Etohn would end his first meeting with the Future Galactic Emperor by beating them in a friendly little match. Was it fated that they'd meet there, or was he just unlucky enough to meet them before their remaking of the Patrol? "After that, I ended up joining the Dominion under a guy named Taro. You might've heard of them. They were a Super Saiyan that Polaris ended up killing after he created the Empire. While I worked there, I ended up taking a mission to Hera where I worked with Polaris. Some Shaman said that he had darkness in him, which I didn't fully believe at the time, we beat up some princes there who were getting too big for their britches, and that was that. Next time we met, though, was the Shroomy's Invitational. It's a little tag-team tournament thing, and I ended up fighting against and beating your dad again." "The last time we actually, physically met, though...Was when he took my arm," Etohn states, sighing as he thinks back upon that time. That feeling of powerlessness, and confusion...He was so naive. "Got invited to fight Polaris on that big machine planet of his. That's where he showed off his first transformation and nearly killed me. He told me all about how much he hated the Saiyans, how he'd genocide us all and love every moment of it. I got scared, so I retreated to bum-fuck nowhere and trained until I could become a Super Saiyan myself. Never ended up getting that last fight with Polaris, though...And I was never able to be there to try and stop him. Best I could do was enter his dreams, too, and just get told again how insane they are." As he spoke, his left hand would unconsciously begin clenching together, his power growing as he recalls his frustrations. "So yeah, if ya didn't guess, I don't want Polaris to be succeeded by someone like him, and since you're related to him and now the Emperor, I wanted to check what you were like without you being able to put up appearances in public...Didn't want to be lied to again by a monster."Words: 577 Total: 2004 Tags: Emperor Absolut

The Emperor of the Galaxy
Etohn seemingly got the right idea after receiving Absolut's question and immediately went into lengths on what his relationship with the young Frost Demon's father was like. So, if Absolut understood his explanation correctly, the two of them were rivals of sorts. The Saiyan was a fresh recruit to the Galactic Patrol and crossed paths with his father multiple times, either cooperating in missions or defeating him at multiple instances - until Polaris finally took away his arm. Which was the reason why Etohn retreated in fright, training to become a Super Saiyan, but never putting that newfound straight to stop his father until his inevitable demise.
And what Absolut could also glean was that... Etohn knew everything. At least, knew everything before everyone else did. He knew about the evil brewing in the Frost Demon's heart and saw him express his desire to put the Saiyan species to the torch with his very own eyes and ears. And instead of telling someone about this, or stopping Polaris himself, he ran and let everything in the past two years happen.
"You... You could have prevented everything, you could have informed the Patrol about everything, but you didn't do anything, and just fled..." Absolut muttered, slowly, a tinge of venom clear in his voice. Was it right for him to accuse Etohn of anything when he himself fled from danger, hiding in Kabocha, and finally failed to do something as pathetically simple as rescuing Mr. Cam and Father? Whether it was or whether it was not, the young Frost Demon wasn't going to let the matter drop.
"I wouldn't have needed to run from Abbayor and lose my family and everything I had... I wouldn't have needed to gotten kidnapped and sent away against my will, four times... I wouldn't have needed to watch this Galaxy fall to war and my father to die, unable to do anything about it... I wouldn't have needed to be where I am today, tossed to places against my will, forced to attend ceremonies instead of saving people... if only you had done something!"
Absolut stopped, his eyes glaring towards Etohn. As much as he wanted to yell further, he simply lacked the words to continue. All he had was a lingering and bottling up feeling of disgust, frustration and anger which he just couldn't manifest and merely... stand there. Staring.
The Cosmic Suit covering his entire body did not show it, but as as Absolut's frustration continued to build up, demonic marks filled to the brim with sinister energy, feeding off the young Frost Demon's raw emotions, started popping to life around his body.

It looks like Absolut really didn't take well to knowing how involved Etohn was with Polaris. The kid's thoughts immediately brought them to the conclusion that Etohn could have stopped Polaris, that he could have prevented the Empire, that he could have made it so Absolut's life wouldn't have turned upside down. Was he really wrong there, though? With hindsight over everything that had happened, Etohn very well could have stopped all of this from happening. He was strong enough, and he was told directly that Polaris was a bad person. Technically, he had everything he needed to stop all of this...If only it was just that simple. "Well...You're kind of right there. I probably could have told the patrol that one of the best and most well regarded Patrolman maimed me, a random Dominion soldier, or I could have tried fighting him immediately after becoming a Super Saiyan, and I probably could have even won if I got lucky," he murmurs, slowly raising his head upwards, resting it against the wall as he gazes up into the sky, visions of his past dancing across the sky as he thinks back on it all. "Problem with all of that is, though, is that it just ain't that simple. I try to do good when I can, so killing Polaris, a person who I thought was just my friend, because of what some old lady said on Hera...That just isn't me. Then, by the time he took my arm off, he had gotten his first transformation, so even with Taro's help, I don't know if we could have won. I was just too late at learning that I needed to stop him. The Patrol also wasn't exactly buddy-buddy with the Dominion, so me saying bad stuff about him would probably just end up helping him in the long run. The Dominion saying slander about one of the Patrol's best was an easy way to make our relations worse rather than make them do anything. Running away was pretty much the only thing I could do, aside from sending a message to Taro about what happened to me, which I did...Man, to think that those were my last words I said to him..." His visage slowly grows more and more melancholic as he continues, the frustrations he held over how powerless he was to change anything, yet being in a position to know the situation still weighing on him. "I even did try to fight against him...I was there during the siege of Abbayor. With what I know about the situation there, I probably would have even ended up at the Peace Accords...But fate had other plans, apparently. While I was there, some Namekian named Riko showed up and threw me into a portal to some weird pocket dimension they created. Apparently they could see the future or whatever, and saw that I would've died along with everyone else there, and since I helped save Namek before, he kept me in there until he sure I'd keep living. I could only watch as everything happened...Radia dying, the Dominion dissolving, all of it going on while I couldn't do jack about it. I spent months in there..." It was a bit ironic, how Etohn had such great power that he could call upon, his strength likely even surpassing Taro's, yet he could do nothing about that situation. For how strong he is, it sometimes just felt like he was powerless. "Life just isn't fair...Just like how life can make it so I was too late to stop a friend, it can just as easily make it so you're born into a life of hardships. Now, I could easily have killed him during that fight I lost my arm. I could've prevented my friends from getting killed by him...but I was just too late."Words: 649 Total: 2653 Tags: Emperor Absolut

The Emperor of the Galaxy It didn't take long for Absolut's answer depraved mind to shut itself away. Etohn's first sentences gave him exactly what he needed - he could have informed the Patrol that he got maimed by Polaris, or he could have beaten his father himself when he became a Super Saiyan and thus stopped his rise to power. Everything past that which Etohn said to justify himself swiftly turned into phonetic background while the young Frost Demon retreated to his thoughts. Why did the Universe hate him so much? Why did he have to get thrown from one place to another with no accord of his own, constantly have to push himself through greater and greater suffering, culminating in him being forced to witness Cam and Father die, unable to prevent any of that, and finally tossed into a position he hated with his very being and which forced him to watch and do nothing while people suffer? Absolut could not accept that this was just how life in this Galaxy works or that this was just something he had to live with from now on. His frightened, angry mind wanted an answer, it wanted to find something which was responsible and which he could pin everything on, and, as much as Etohn professed that he didn't really have the chance to stop Polaris before he ruined his son's life, he became that pin, that maypole which everything could be hanged on. He finally found an answer. This... bastard... he is at fault... he could have stopped Polaris so much earlier... When Etohn finished his story, Absolut was glaring towards the Saiyan, his eyes unblinking and deadshot towards him, his breaths few and far in between, and his ki slowly turning demonic, sinister and collapsing upon a single point. For a few seconds, the more rational part of Absolut's mind continued trying to claw out of the abyss. He should learn to control himself, Etohn wasn't directly responsible for anything that happened, he stated that he couldn't have really stopped Polaris even if he tried... Who cares? He was overflowing with frustration at everything which happened to him, and that frustration finally found something to project itself onto. And it broke. Quite literally, with the armor on Absolut's back suddenly breaking, an oozing tendril of pure demonic energy suddenly sprouting itself from the young child's body, like a tree pushing itself out of fertile soil, or a cancerous outgrowth from a victim's body. Staring towards Etohn, the possessed Absolut began to slowly move, pushing himself forward like a mindless zombie. (438 words, total 2705)

This was quickly becoming a difficult situation. Not only did the boy not really seem to pay attention as he spoke, they seemed to actually space out. By the time he finished, it looked like they were practically brain dead. Raising his eyebrows, Etohn would ask, "Hey, you die while I was talking or what? Kabocha to Absolut, do you read me?" The only response they had was breathing oddly, and their ki taking on an odd feeling. Strangely enough, it felt pretty similar to Kusubu's energy signature. Was that little dragon girl a Frost Demon and he didn't even realize? Well, whatever it was, it obviously wasn't that. A surge of dark energy would lance out of Absolut's back, contorting itself into long strands of the ki. Etohn's instincts would suddenly kick into gear, zooming further down the alley before looking back to the emperor. Whatever was forming on them, it was obviously not natural, and with how the life seemingly left their body, it was probably controlling them or something along those lines. "Okay, it looks like we can't just have a civil chat here. Why do I even bother...It's like violence is the only answer ever."With his aura roaring to life around himself, Etohn would take on a golden glow, bathing in the light of his Super Saiyan form. The ground quivers slightly from the drastic jump in power, and Etohn's eyes take on a more intense glare. "Kid, I'm telling you to calm down. Now. You're just gonna hurt yourself if you keep using that kind of energy."Etohn didn't exactly know the origin of wherever this energy of Absolut's was coming from, but it just felt wrong. Just for the sake of making sure it wouldn't try latching onto him, as well, Etohn would ready his Rift, his body taking on a blue glow for just a moment as he prepares it. Can't get infected by bad mojo ki if he just tosses his body into another dimension, after all. Words: 337 Total: 2890 Tags: Emperor Absolut

Etohn's answer to Absolut's sudden transformation was distinctly Saiyan-like. The warrior leapt back and suddenly ignited his aura, transforming into his Super Saiyan state right before the possessed Frost Demon's eyes, and getting him to strike a faint sneer. Even if Absolut's consciousness had drifted away from control by now, all of the emotions it would have felt continued to feed the Mark of Emotion - and witnessing the person who could have stopped his father reveal the strength which would have allowed him to do exactly that was adding a lot more fuel to the fire. Infused with this growing, unbridled demonic energy festering within, Absolut's power continued to grow, easily shooting past his normal strength and beyond. Strong enough to cut off Kaijin's arm one more time if needed. The possessed Frost Demon suddenly clenched its fists and, in response to Etohn's flashy Super Saiyan transformation sequence, amped up its own dark aura all while roaring in a dual, demonic voice: " HAAAAAAAAAAH!" However, the power up seemed a lot more... painful. As if, instead of Absolut simply tapping into his strength, something was trying to rip itself out of his body. A yawning, rudely woken up Xeno woman, her beauty sleep disrupted by apparent commotion outside, stepped into her flat's balcony to see what's going on - and upon witnessing a stand-off between a Super Saiyan with a powerful aura on one end, and what seemed like an armored, demonically possessed and screaming Frost Demon on the other, she let out a loud frightened scream. The first warning sirens across the alley, activated by an unexpected release of energy nearby, activated, their alarms blaring and waking up the whole drowsy neighbourhood. While some people retreated to their homes, frantically trying to remember the safety instructions for when a powerful ki user battle takes place nearby, others opened the doors and windows of their homes to see what's going on. Something about the scream and the sirens must have awakened the frightened teenager inside Absolut's mind, which promptly won the tug of war for control of this feeble body yet again. A shocked face formed on Absolut's face while all of the sinister energy building up within him vanished just as instantly as it had arrived, and so did the marks plastered across his body and covered by his armored suit. Until finally, the young Frost Demon collapsed to the ground, his body exhausted by the sudden display of power and promptly falling to sleep, all while a state of panic and curiosity developed across the whole neighbourhood. Etohn stood unflinching as Absolut would power up in kind. Whatever the hell was happening to them, it made them way more dangerous than what the Emperor should have been capable of. That power didn't come at no cost, either, as the kid is visibly wracked in pain from just the act of raising their power. Hell, from the way their energy contorted and grew, it looked like it was forcing itself rather than just forming around him naturally. Was Polaris behind this, too? An alarm would begin to blare throughout the area, the citizens no doubt retreating due to the seemingly imminent battle between the two individuals. Just as it seemed like they were going to try and lash out against the Half-Saiyan, however, Absolut would collapse to the floor, all of that power suddenly vanishing from their body. From the hole blasted through their armor, Etohn would notice a bizarre scrawl-like marking fade away, and with it their energy would be back to normal. Kneeling down by Absolut, Etohn would press his fingers to their neck. He'd let out a sigh of relief as he feels a pulse, finally allowing himself to drop back to his base form and quell his Rift technique. "Alright, he's alive...But I probably should get him out of here. Don't wanna answer to the law here, and the kid probably doesn't want people to know that he can do that." Scooping them up and slinging them his shoulder, Etohn brings his hand to his forehead and would teleport out of the area. Having locked onto a random, really small energy he sensed out of the city limits, the two would now suddenly appear in a desert, a somewhat large scorpion scuttling away from the pair. "Okay...My ship shouldn't be too far from here. The healing pod should still be working fine, at least." Taking to the air, Etohn would shoot off towards his still-flightless vessel he arrived on the planet on. And, luckily, it still seemed to be in the same spot, hidden beneath a shady cliff-face, bits of his engine strewn all around. At the press of a button on his PDA, a staircase open up before him, which he'd quickly climb up into the cockpit area, which he'd stroll past into the med bay. Well, med bay was a bit of a grand term for a ship meant to hold less than a dozen people. With just a single healing pod, a cabinet full of traditional medical supplies, and barely more walking room than that, it wasn't very grandiose. It was all he had, though, and it wasn't like Absolut was too big for the pod. Deciding against trying to tear off their weird metal suit they had, Etohn would plop them into the chamber, fitting a breathing mask over their face and sealing the capsule shut, allowing the healing juices to begin pouring in around them. "Okay, let's just wait for them to recover a bit, then we'll try talking again." Pulling a seat into the room, Etohn would fall back into it, keeping an eye on Absolut. The Emperor of the Galaxy
It didn't take long for Absolut to wake back up after getting placed in Etohn's medical bay - his loss of consciousness did not come from getting severely beat down or pushed to the brink of death, merely his mind getting briefly overtaken by a foreign presence and shutting down as a result. As such, all which the healing tank did was keep the young armored Frost Demon suspended for a minute while it recovered his stamina, and promptly drained away, dropping him to the floor of the tank, where he took his first heavy breaths.
The first thought which popped into Absolut's mind as he stared to the floor below while standing on all fours, his blurry vision slowly recovering, was... that something had changed. Last he remembered, he was in the middle of an empty street, staring to Etohn and growing increasingly frustrated at realizing that the Saiyan could have prevented everything which happened in the last two years and yet did not... and now he was here.
In the middle of what looked like... a some sort of spaceship.
And the Saiyan was there, in front of the healing tank, sitting and looking at him. This... this wasn't a dream just like the last time he had witnessed Etohn? This was... reality?..
"What... what happened?.." Absolut muttered, weakly. And if he had been dragged into a spaceship without his knowledge, again, then... "And... where are you taking me?"
Unfortunately, even if Etohn might not be aware of it, his ship was already being tracked and the Saiyan himself labelled as a wanted criminal as it flew.
1-CE grew suspicious at Absolut's sudden decision to leap out and travel all by himself in the Cosmic Suit ever since he brought it up. The young Emperor's personality, coupled with her database on what living beings do after requesting such things, informed her that this could lead nowhere good. Using the security camera grid dispersed across the city, the artificial intelligence continued to track her Emperor until he finally met the person he had supposedly been trying to find.
Etohn Verstoss, commander of the Saiyan Dominion known to have clashed with the late Emperor Polaris several times and later turned complicit in Dominion's invasion of Abbayor. The Saiyan-Imperial War may have come to a close, but war criminals such as him were still far from welcome in Imperial territory. And not only did he trigger a some sort of peculiar transformation in Absolut - 1-CE could not identify the specifics through the camera which she had been using to observe the meeting with - but he also ended up teleporting away with the Emperor in tow in the midst of raised alarms.
Who could have guessed that this would be a massive mistake? Absolutely bloody everybody. If 1-CE had a physical body, she would probably be sighing for years to come.
"Etohn Verstoss. Complicit with kidnapping the Emperor of the First Galactic Empire. All Imperial Armed Forces stations, order to enter full alert immediately. Leave the public in the dark, for now, but make sure that the perpetrator is arrested and Emperor is rescued.
Etohn Verstoss's energy signature, collected during the Battle of Abbayor, should be registered in all ship scanners. Good luck searching."

Well, it took almost no time at all before Absolut was plopped out of the healing chamber, fully healed and now conscious. Was he not hurt as badly as he thought from that weird energy of theirs, or was it just not something the chamber was able to heal? Either way, the kid seemed a bit confused on where they were, and answering that as quickly as possible was in his best interests. "Well, I'm gonna start with the second question first. My ship's engines are completely busted, so I couldn't take you anywhere even if I wanted to...I don't, by the way. That was a joke. I ain't exactly into kidnapping people." As he speaks, Etohn reaches into a nearby cupboard, pulling out a nutrient bar and tossing it to Absolut. "Here, in case you're hungry."Well, now that Etohn had him here, and they didn't seem to be freaking out, he probably should ask about whatever that weird aura of Absolut's was. The kid already had problems, based on their conversation earlier and from the time Etohn entered their dream, so he was hoping that that would at least be a quick fix. Having them messed up mentally and physically doesn't exactly bode well for a high-stress, highly important political figure. "So, you got any clue about what happened earlier when you started getting mad? Ya started lookin' like a zombie, then some weird ki cancer shit punched a hole through your suit in the back, and you were screaming all the while it did that. I brought you back to my ship to heal you up in case you seriously got hurt by that and to figure out what that was. Damn near looked like you were going to die by using it, so I'll admit you've got me a bit worried."Words: 306 Total: 3716 Tags: Emperor Absolut

The Emperor of the Galaxy
The nanobots composing the Cosmic Armor suit retreated upon their user's command, coalescing to a band around the young Frost Demon's wrist while revealing his normal bio-suit underneath. Now that he has revealed his identity to Etohn and held captive by the Saiyan, it didn't make sense to stay in armor. It didn't even provide him any additional strength, so it wouldn't really be useful if, somehow, the two of them were to come to blows.
Immediately after, Absolut had to react to a nutrient bar thrown his way. "O-oh!" The bar flopped around in between his hands for a few seconds before the young Frost Demon finally got a solid grip over it, peeling off the wrapping and revealing a sweet, nutrient rich bar coated in a thin layer of chocolate. "T-thanks..." Absolut nibbled on the bar while Etohn explained the first question which he wanted to know an answer to. And what the Saiyan presented to him immediately got his attention - not in a good way, either. He spoke something about... what happened to him earlier, after he started getting mad... that he started to look like a zombie and was screaming all over... and that he even looked like he was going to die while in that, supposed form.
Absolut stared at Etohn with a blank expression on his face, blinking a few times, trying to comprehend what he had just been explained, before finally speaking:
"Wh-what do you mean? I don't remember any of that... I thought you knocked me out or something, somehow, while you were in the middle of speaking... Did-did something happen after that?" Absolut looked down, trying to remember something during the gap in his memories, but coming out with a blank, as if he had slept through the entire last half an hour, if not more. "That... that doesn't ring a bell."

Well the kid was just full of unfortunate news, it seemed. Whatever the hell that bizarre ability of theirs was, they had absolutely no clue what it was, and couldn't even remember using it in the first place. Etohn wanted some answers, and all he got was more questions. What is that dark ki? Why does Absolut have it? Is it sentient? And yet, he had no answers and no discernible way to gain any. "I see...Well, I didn't knock you out, or even lay a finger on you until you fell to the ground. All I did was transform to try and get you to back down, but apparently that thing didn't care. Was probably gonna get attacked by it if you didn't drop like you did." Narrowing his eyes, Etohn stands up and looks around Absolut a bit, trying to see if there was any black markings like what he briefly saw before, but there was no such luck. "Hmm, don't got any of those weird tattoos either...Man, you're worrying me here. I've got absolutely no damn idea about what that could have been, and I've got no clue on how to help you not do that in the future." Seating himself back into his chair, Etohn scratches at his chin as he tries to come up with some solution for whatever it was that ailed Absolut, or at least somebody that would know a way. Riko was the only one who came to mind, but it isn't exactly easy to find the guy, and there's no telling if he'd do anything for the Half-Saiyan again. "Hmm...Well, I got no clue what to tell ya. Like, we could try forcing you to do it again, since you didn't really seem to get physically hurt from it, but I dunno what doing that would really achieve since you can't remember what you do in it. Like, I can probably find somebody who might have a clue on what to do to help you, but that's about it. Otherwise...I 'unno, what do you wanna do? Our conversation kinda got fucked up by that."Words: 357 Total: 4073 Tags: Emperor Absolut
