APPEARANCE:
Daoven appears as a kind of "angelic" figure, surrounded at all times in a vague orange aura. His eyes are obscured by sunglasses that he picked up from his travels around the universe, which is accompanied by a scarf around his neck. His torso is coated in orange plumage, and wings extend out from his shoulders for about six (6) feet each. He also has a sword magically bound into his chest, which he retrieve and sheathe to no ill effect.
MOTIVATIONS:
Daoven seeks knowledge from all the races in the universe, so as to find his own place in the cosmic play. He also seeks the power to defend himself and that which he deems as morally "right".
QUIRKS:
His understanding of most genders and social norms is limited, so he often
doesn't know what pronouns to use when referring to any he is unfamiliar with. Daoven also lacks any understanding of relationships that any race might have, so the purpose of rivalries will go way over his head.
BONDS:
Daoven has wandered the universe for a very brief amount of time, so his interactions have been limited to the Earthlings who he learned the universal language from and a ship's AI.
BACKSTORY:
Born of the leftover ki and magical energy from countless battle across the universe, Daoven Spier awoke to the void and cold of space. Reflexively, he curled his wings around himself, and warmth spread around him as his orange aura lit up. Having mistaken the glowing for a star, Earthlings happened upon Daoven soon afterwards. Being kindhearted souls, they gave Daoven his name and taught him how to speak the Common Language.
However, the ship was soon discovered by others with a more sinister goal. To protect the new, fragile being, the Earthlings sent their only escape pod spiraling into space with the ship's Ki-Training AI and Daoven loaded within it.
Daoven began to train as instructed by the AI, learning the basic premises of Ki while the pod drifted in space. Eventually, the escape pod made its landing on Earth's Northern Pole, though the landing crushed the majority of the escape pod (and the AI's chip along with it).
CALL TO ACTION:
Now, Daoven seeks to further his knowledge of the universe, starting with what Earthlings know. His ignorance, he feels, is a cloud that is just barely unable to be lifted at the moment.

The tenacious fighter is focused on survival. They can take a beating and keep going, which lets them wear down their foes and clinch the win.

This character is very, very new to the universe so far. He's scarcely learned to speak and fight, so he wouldn't know anything beyond the basics of his abilities as a person and as a fighter. As such, he does not know any of the special things he would be capable of, such as potentially magic and other such techniques.
